A/N: The long awaited chapter finally arrives. I hope you enjoy this!

Midoriya was suddenly awakened by a light, but firm shake. When he opened his eyes he found Aizawa-sensei towering over him.

"Come on kid. You need to get up, you have a long day ahead of you." And with that his teacher straightened up and proceeded to walk straight out of the room.

With seemingly no other choice Midoriya forced himself up from his peaceful and got ready for the morning. He assumed that by long day Aizawa-sensei meant he was at some point going to leave the dorms, so he made sure to change into clothes that looked somewhat nice for casual wear.

When he finished straightening up everything from his stay at the teachers dorms, he made his way out the door. Much to his surprise Lunch Rush already had a small box meal ready for him to eat for breakfast and another one for lunch.

The hero must of noticed his puzzled look because he felt the need to clarify that Aizawa-sensei was waiting for him in one of the meeting rooms in the main building. He also mentioned that the lunch was for incase things lasted a while.

He had no clue how Aizawa-sensei managed to get ready so fast but he would bet it would have to do with the lack of morning routine activities he did.

Midoriya thanked Lunch Rush profoundly, then rushed out. As soon as he was a good distance away from the building he slowed his pace down. While not going particularly slow, he wasn't necessary going very fast either. Instead choosing to go at a pace that one would as a student walking to class- not in a hurry but still trying to get to a class within a certain amount of time.

Midoriya chose to look around and enjoy the scenery. He was still in awe of the beauty the school held. Besides constantly being torn apart by the students it still managed to hold its natural beauty. The wild life still managed to glow and there was no question that the buildings were built to fit in with the land it laid on.

He was so glad he had gotten into the school. As a kid it was all he had ever wanted. Now that pipe dream of his had become a reality. He was no longer his old helpless, quirkless self that he made of himself.

Before long Midoriya had made his way over to the teachers lounge. He stood outside the door and took a deep breath trying to tell himself the meeting wouldn't be bad. Though something inside his gut told him he was wrong but he chose to shove those thoughts away.

He pushed open the door and was greeted with the sight of Aizawa-sensei sitting alone on a couch. Aizawa turned towards him at the sound of the door.

For a split second Midoriya froze at the look that laid on the teachers face. Aizawa-sensei was clearly trying to look gentle which was a face he had only seen him use in situations like Eri. Reminding himself that this was just a conversation Midoriya walked over to the couch.

Aizawa let out a large sigh before speaking, "Take a seat."

Midoriya did as he said, feeling the dread slowly trickle. The fear form earlier was crawling back. Something about this upcoming conversation seemed to be a big deal.

"What's going on Sensei? Did you talk to my mom? Is she okay?" He asked.

The frown on the mans face grew. Silence filled the air as Aizawa seemed to be thinking over what he was going to say. None of which helped control his nerves about what was happening. Midoriya knew his mom was probably going to be upset at hearing what happened but know he was wondering if he underestimated just how upset she would be. Was she going to pull him out of U.A.? No- she wouldn't do that. Would she? Maybe he should have been there when Aizawa told her.

Aizawa started talking again interrupting his thoughts- "This isn't going to be easy to hear but remember we will be here for you."

Those words were meant to be comforting but only made his worry grow.

He waited until Midoriya nodded to continue, "I went and talked to your mom like I said I would-"

"Did she react badly?" He couldn't help but interrupt to ask.

"Yes, I won't lie about that she was crying a lot."

Something hardened in his throat at those words. He really should have been there to support his mom. It would have been tough but he shouldn't have run away from the problem like she did.

"Yeah, she was upset. Listen this next part is going to be hard to hear but you deserve to hear it." Aizawa took a deep breathe before continuing, "Your mom, she admitted to knowing about the issue, at least partially knowing. It seems she didn't realize how bad it was. She went on a rant about how she was just trying to help you and that she thought it would help you get rid of your hero dream. Your mom was saying how she was just trying to protect you. I tried to calm her down but she wouldn't listen and by the time I managed to get her to talk to me her mind was already made up."

Something struck his heart at those words. His mom was already upset and was probably pulling him out of U.A. He was shaking at the mere idea of it and Aizawa- sensei said his moms mind was already made up. If his mom was already stuck on pulling him out it would be nearly impossible to stop her. He had gotten lucky the first time with her shock over All Might but usually she was stubborn on doing what she thought would be best.

"Made up about what?" He asked shakily.

"Your mom said that she wants nothing to do with you anymore." Aizawa said in an angry tone.

Shock hit Miidoriya.

"Perhaps I didn't say that the best way. Your mom claimed that clearly the only way to protect you was to get you as far as way as possible from her. I tried to reason with her that she was making the wrong call but she wouldn't listen. She said your no longer her child and that she's giving you up."

Midoriya couldn't hear anything anymore- his mom didn't want him. Darkness swam in his vision as tears leaked down his face. He felt the couch next to him dip as sturdy hands rubbed his back. He just couldn't believe that his mom would leave him like that.

When he finally managed to look up he saw Aizawa-sensei siting next to him.

"I know, I won't go into detail but I thought you deserved to know. She said that she wasn't going to allow you back in her care and would throw you out if you tried. She was too worked up to reason with so I had no choice but to make some calls. She's discussing things with some people right now and we'll see how things turn out. I made sure detective Tsukauchi was there since he is familiar with you." Aizawa paused for a second twisting to meet his eyes, "We're going to figure this out together. Whatever happens with your mom it's going to be okay. This situation has nothing to do with you, it's her own problems being taken out on you. I know it's unfair and that you want to try to help but for now there is nothing that you can do but focus on your own well being. We got it set up that I'll be your temporary guardian while this goes down... Do you have any questions?"

Not really. Why would he want to hear more about the fact that his mom is leaving him? A mix of emotions swirled inside him making him feel sick. Part of him was angry while another was deeply saddened, or maybe a better description would be heartbroken.

Actually perhaps he did have one question- "Why would she do this to me?"

"I don't fully understand her reasoning but I think in her mind this is some twisted kind of protection for you. I think she feels guilty about letting you get hurt and thinks the only way to protect you is by staying as far away as possible. I'm not saying her viewpoint isn't flawed, I'm just saying how she seems to be viewing it."

Midoriya tried to understand his moms reasoning but it was just to confusing for him to understand in the state he was in. EH didn't feel like talking anymore and chose to instead twist around and dig his face into the couch as he cried. Guess he's be staying in the teachers dorms for a while more after all.

A/N: Thank You so much for reading! I hope you liked this chapter! What do you think about everything with Midoriya's mom? What will happen with her? What will happen with Midoriya? When will I update this next? All good questions that you'll hopefully know the answer to soon. :)

Also around the time I first started this fic I did a poll in the comments to see how people wanted Inko to be and even though I removed the options from one of the previous chapters the winner was option #2 Too overprotective and looses custody, which I decided to twist a little bit to have her chose to lose custody because of her overprotectiveness.

Thank you to everyone who liked and/or commented on this. Till next time!
