POV 1 Yusaku

"So we are really just going to drive around until we find enemies?", I ask.

"Yep, until Lighting tells me to stay in place, because there is only one trial left to do. Or until Numen and Kirito find us again. But with their interest in making things more spectacular, they won't do so unless there is only one battle left to have anyway."

We've chosen to have Elektra III and Deku as hidden backup. In a way, this minimizes a falling-out due to both sides not yet trusting one another and it also gives them the ultimate test of potentially fighting against Numen and Kirito. However, even if Ai uses his modern "Appliancer" and his older Knightmare deck, which is identical to Kirito's, we would be woefully underprepared. But having too many enemy factions sometimes makes it necessary to divert our attention even though "splitting up" doesn't have that much of a bigger advantage against "everyone is in the same spot."

Yes, our chances are dim for the moment. But look, you can see Machinarex around here, or someone who vaguely resembles him. Kirito did mention that they lost a few times against someone else despite their strength. And that's after losing to Mayoi and Yukari

Unless we absorbed their "curse" of losing with strong decks, this should be very easy.

"How about we exploit that intrusion thingie against him, just like how he did so that Blue Angel was only benefitting from 3 opponents. Though technically, they also robbed themselves of some minor outnumber benefit. And the STILL won! And now I made myself mad!"

Suddenly, a strange cage appears around us and we are dragged to the ground.

"You really want another Master Duel, don't you?"

"I am done with childish chit-chat. Let's just proceed to the duel.", he says angrily.

SoldatDelEnfere (4000lp) vs Playmaker (4000lp)

"Not even an obviously fake friendship speech, that will make us vomit even more than before, because your partner isn't here?"

I must have missed some very interesting events, due to not manifesting earlier.

"That was a moronic idea, that I am terribly ashamed of.", Roget begrudgingly admits, "I start by using Polymerization, I fuse the Armor Canine Bullcopter and Puggleduster to summon Armor Canine Bullfortress (ATK: 2000). Duster allows me to add another Fusion Card to my hand. I choose the Recycling Plant, but I discard it and Fusion Weapon to grant a total of 2000 ATK to him, raising it to 4000."

"This deck is weaker than the old one.", I note, "Much weaker."

"Yeah, definetly distracting us from the fact that you are now using your Charisma Duelist name, totally worth the loss in power. Why are you using your Charisma Duelist Name?"

"After that string of losses, the career is deservedly over.", a voice from his duel disk says, appearing as a golden eye, "Maybe he will bring less shame to me if I give him a deck that his mind can handle during serious situations."

"Oh, that must be your boss, trying to copy Numen.", Ai boasts.

"Chihiro just defeated AX3 and Crystal Princess, while only using 2 different cards from his deck. You have no right to be this conceited.", Roget's Master states.

"Oh, but we definetly do, just wait until Roget's turn is over.", Ai counters.

"I proceed with the card Pack Disorder. For each Fusion my Armor Canine has put towards the grave, I can draw one card. Then I set both drawn cards and as soon as Playmaker draw his-"

"You mean, as soon as Ai does.", Ai transforms ejects from my duel disk, transforming into his full shape. and appears with 6 cards in front of him.

Intrusion Penalty: 2000 points.

(Ai LP: 4000-2000)

"Yeah, that happens unfortunately, but now you don't get to add Extra Cards to your hand or anything.", Ai says, "Oh, sweet payback."

"The card I activate is called Fusion Trench. Only Fusion monsters can attack and whoever does not normal summon, gets one direct attack from their fusion monsters.", Roget declares.

"Unfortunately, I did obtain a Fusion Monster with 3500 ATK that can destroy quite a lot of your cards and also one with only 2500 ATK, which can easily boost its own power to be far above 3500. That card isn't as meaningful as you think.", I say and Roget begins to grit his teeth

"I normal summon Appliancer Socketroll, who summons a copy of himself from the hand and since that happened, he also brings forth one from the deck. Two of them become materials to summon Appliancer Celtopus. (ATK: 0 Markers: Down, Bottom-left) The last is used to summon Appliancer Laundy Dragon in a co-link. (ATK: 1500 Marker: Up) Oh, but of course I'll take out that measly Fusion Trench with a simple Mystical Space Typhoon. I attack your Fortress with my Laundry Dragon and while co-linked, he not only survives and prevents me from taking damage, he destroys your monster and inflicts damage equal to its base attack. (SoldatDelEnfere LP: 4000-2000) I end my turn after three set cards."

"Before you have anymore curses, wait until you've seen the full picture. I activate Cynet Mining, discarding one card and adding Firewall Install to my hand. Since Ai has a monster in the Extra Monster Zone, I can Special Summon it from my hand. Then I use Inferno Reckless Summon to complete the trio. I use one of them to Link Summon Firewall Leftegg. Then I activate the continous Spell Firewall Reboot, which allows me to revive Leftegg should I use it as Link Material."

"This deck. Those six must have survived.", Kouhei Hakagkure mutters.

6 researchers of SOL's Ai project. But I doubt he really knows me.

"We are aware of said fact.", I note, "I use Leftegg and the other two Installs to summon Downup Lizard and revive Leftegg by Reboot's effect. Then I use Downup Lizard and Leftegg to Link Summon Zeroup Dino. This one revives Downup Lizard by its own effect. Lizard allows me to draw one card for everything co-linked to it. Show yourself, circuit of infinite possibilies! Arrowheads confirmed! The summoning conditions are three or monsters of the cyberse type! I set the Link Markers with Firewall Downup Lizard, Leftegg and Zeroup Dino! LINK SUMMON! Come forth, Link 5, Firewall Dragon Neo Tempest Terahertz! (ATK: 3000 Markers: All but the diagonals up and straight down)"

And here we have another path for the Firewall archetype to take.

"Go on.", Roget grumbles.

"I use his effect to mill Firewall Hardlight Dragon Neo Solar Spektrum, one of the 3 Fusion Monsters I could have used, directly from my Extra Deck to increase Terahertz' ATK to 5500, also with Spektrum's GY effect, for the rest of this turn, you cannot use spell cards, in case anything good was on your Action Field. Terahertz also has the Light attribute now and can attack twice per turn."

"I have a counter against this one, I use Soul Fusion. For 1000 Life Points (SoldatDelEnfere LP: 2000-1000) I get to fuse by banishing from the GY, I banish Fortress and Copter to summon Full Armor Canine Mastiff Skybastion. (DEF: 3000) This one cannot be destroyed by battle and can also use the following effect before the Battle Phase even starts! I banish one Polymerization to halve Terahertz' ATK and deal the remainder to its owner as damage! (Terahertz ATK: 5500-2750 Playmaker LP: 4000-1350)"

"But now I can also use my Demise of the Land to place Appliancer Electrilyrical World on the field, which in turn gives me the card Appliancer Reuse.", Ai mentions.

"My turn is over with that."

"Three cards that could not even be set?", Roget scoffs, "It seems you have gotten cocky against the man that took your AI."

"They could be handtraps. But we don't even need those against a joke that is cursed not to obtain a second win. But maybe you can deal some more damage and get upgraded to a mere roadblock.", Ai jokes.

"He just dealt some damage and can easily do so again.", Kouhei dryly points out.

"Oh? Could've fooled me."

"As Roget is drawing his card for the turn, I use Terahert' effect to mill Firewal Softwind Dragon Wireless Windup. My Dragon's ATK rises to 5250 and with Windup milled, you cannot inflict effect damage until you take Terahertz off the field. So no, he is unable to easily damage me again."

"I use the spell Fusion Deployment, Bullfortres specifically requires Bullcopter to be summoned, so I get to Special Summon that one from the deck. Bullcopter then adds another Polymerization to my hand. I use it to fuse it with Skybastion and summon Armor Canine Bombweiler (ATK: 3000) For every Fusion Card that entered the GY this turn, I destroy one card on the field, so I take out Terahertz. Then I attack Playmaker directly!"

"I counter with Appliancer Distractadd! This changes your target to my Laundry Dragon! Charge at him, Laundry Dragon!"

Roget does make a few jumps for an Action Card, but I decide to sit still, what if I get a Gift Card right now?

"I activate the Action Card De-Fusion! Bombweiler is split in half and since Bullcopter is revived, I can add the last Polymerization from my deck to my hand! In Main Phase two, I fuse them into another Bombweiler. With the second Poly and De-Fusion, 3 Fusion cards entered the GY this turn, so the 2 Aplliancer monsters and their Field Spell are destroyed now!"

"To bad this thing doesn't target.", Ai mutters.

"Now, back to you."

"Okay, you can be upgraded to a roadblock, without the mere part, For the start, I activate Pseudo Space and banish my Appliancer Field Spell to gain its effect this turn . I then use Reuse to revive my Socketroll-"

Roget is trying to get another Action Card, but Ai flies towards him to steal it from right under his nose.

"It's unfortunately useless for me, since it's one of your cards, but I can spare 1000 LP. Now I use my Socketroll as a Link Material for Kappascale. My copied Field Spell then shuffles one Socketroll back into my deck and adds another one from the GY to my hand. I tribute Kappa Scale to revive the last Socketroll by Kappa's own effect and then use Call of the Haunted to bring back Socketroll. Then I normal summon the added Socketroll. I use Troll and Kappa to Link Summon another Celtopus and the remaining troll a Vacculephant that isn't co-linked."

Meanwhile Roget has obtained the next Action Card.

"You took too long for your amateurish combos! I can now activate Parasite Discharge, summoning Fusion Parasite from my deck, allowing me to fuse it with Bombweiler into Armor Canine Stealth Dobermann! (DEF: 1000) He cannot be attacked and prevents you from attacking directly if I only control him. If you attacked directly anyways, like how Appliancer Vacculephant can do when not co-linked.,I can mill a Fusion Card from my deck to negate this once per turn. Also Fusion Parasite attached itself to Stealth Dobermann and can be destroyed instead of Dobermann himself!"

"Then I'll force that one out right away. I discard the Centrifugal Field I got from your Field Spell to use Vacculephant's effect and will straight-up destroy Parasite Fusioner! And I'll force you to thin out your deck by attacking directly with it!"

"I simply give up another Fusion Weapon from my deck."

"I end my turn. I feel a little bit out of practice. Did Numen remove a few brain circuits when bringing back my body?"

I will not comment that.

I will not comment on Ai's intelligence either.

Neither do Roget or Kouhei Hagakure.

Ai of course instantly flies across the field to get the final of four Action Cards so that Roget may not use it.

"It's time to end this.", I say and draw a card, "I activate Secondary Reboot, banishing the original Darkfluid from my Extra Deck to revive Neo Tempest Terahertz as they share their number of Link Markers. While he is in the Main Monster Zone, I activate the Link Spells Zealot Ballista (Markers: All except the bottom row) and Heretic's Halberd. (Markers: Up, Top-left) Balissta will damage to equal to the combined amount of Link Markers it points to if you avoid its damage, while Halberd allows me to repeat said damage.
To ensure that I get past this, I equip Terahertz with Ceal, the Shooting Star Bow. This lowers his ATK to 2000, but lets him attack directly and I mill a second copy of Solar Spektrum, so that you will not be able to use any Action Spells to defend yourself, when I attack with 4500 ATK. Your response?"

He still attempts to obtain the final Action Card, but it doesn't seem to be a monster or a trap. He doesn't bother with Dobermann's effect.

(SoldatDelEnfere LP: 1000-4500=0)

WINNER: Playmaker and Ai

"Honestly, you could have switched his deck to a strong one with different strength. Like those Kshatri-La cards, that weird Exchange of Spirit Support, Gishki Sprights, Chaos P.U.N.K or Evil Twins. But you probably lack the braincells for that! Or the CCE!", Ai taunts, "Maybe Armored Insect Combination Zekstagger or just a Larvae Moth if that seems more appropriate for this little instect!"

"That agitation serves no practical purpose.", I say.

"Indeed, whatever I can do with my CCE, I would have done regardless of this computer programms childish teasing. But maybe Roget's intentionally fake friendship speech did somehow manage to poison my mind with childish optimism, since I haven't unleashed its power upon all of you to ground you into dust. But maybe I need to look for an actually capable envoy first."

Then he teleports away. What could he be planning with this ominous threat?

POV 2 Lightning

To ensure that our complicated plan isn't defeated for reasons not even related to its complexity, I permit myself, Aqua, Windy and yes, even Ai to modify the conditions of battle a little, as long as at least two varying decks battle. Now, I am encountering Hanoi's leader, Revolver. Or should I call him Setsuna Saiba?

"How has it been going with Naoki Shima's fight against Windy? And have your other goons fought already?", I greet him.

"That has not happened yet. I know you should be able to see where they are going.", Revolver says.

"So humorless. Even though I am the AI. But tell me, why would you bring us back?", I ask.

"Haven't we done so, when we probed Ventus' strength with the footsoldiers?", Revolver says, "Maybe when dueling next time, Gravekeepers, Harpies and only the worst of Blackwings will suffice if you are this forgetful"

"That was at least a little bit humorous. But you should at least give them Mikanko, Purery and Rescue-Ace."

"Why are you sending invitations with a duel for the dominance in a clearly temporary alliance to the origins, which are all one different sides? Clearly your plan can only make sense from the inside either.", Revolver says.

"Touché. Now, we will duel under the following conditions. One duel against your old deck. And since I can sense that you still own some World Legacy Cards, I will use my old Armatos Legio deck for the second duel. The Life Ponts that you have at the end of the first duel, you still have at the start of the second duel. But you get to pick an outnumber counter of sorts, that is active during both duels, as if you were fighting both of my decks at once. The first duel is a Speed Duel, the second is a master duel."

"My old Mirror Force Dragons are strong for such an old deck. And you always have the option of playing recklessly to inflict damage. So I will gain double the Life Points instead of card advantage.", Revolver says.

Lightning (4000lp) vs Revolver (8000lp)

Revolver seems to withhold his Action Dueling, unaware that Ai has informed us of them.

"I start with the Ritual Spell Heavy Interlock, I destroy Exploderokket Dragon and Anesthrokket Dragon in my hand to Ritual Summon Borreload Riot Dragon. With Interlock, monsters summoned from the Extra Deck cannot defeat him in battle or affect him with their effects."

"But to negate my summons, they would have to work like a non-fusion summon from the Extra Dek or akin to Cyber Dragon. You cannot use this against Fangs of Critias. My, you somehow managed to underestimate yourself."

"I end my turn and in the End Phase, I summon another Exploderokket and Anesthrokket with the opposite one's effect. If you want to see me use World Chalice, you will have to wait until duel 2.
I am not giving you every detail about me."

"My turn, draw. I activate Fang of Critias on my Mirror Force Launcher to summon Mirror Force Launcer Dragon. (ATK: 2200) He allows me to mill a normal monster and a Mirror Force Trap card to use its powers as if the enemy had just attacked. I mill Gemini Elf and Quaking Mirror Force. As I am technically using a trap card's effect, Heavy Interlock grants no sort of immunity to Riot Dragon.
Then I activate the continous spell, Bite of Critias, If you destroy my Launcher Dragon, I can summon any of the Critias Fusions by milling the respective trap card. I will then set 2 cards and destroy your Exploderokket Dragon, before you try to use it to deal damage. "

"The monster that I summon by his effect is Rokket Synchron."

"You're hiding the World Chalice's power, but you're also revealing that you have mastered the pre-link summoning methods. If you are trying to make me underestimate you, these inconsistent actions are very effective at it, I am starting to think you have a split personality and neither of them is very intelligent."

"My turn. I use Rokket Synchron to summon the Link 1 monster Striker Dragon. This one adds Boot Sector Lauch to my hand and I activate it. I use its effect to reveal the top 6 cards of my deck and mill any Rokkets among them. My first card is Link Turret, the second is Massive Recharge, the third card is Squip Draw, the fourth card is rapid Trigger, the fifth card is Double Disruptor Dragon and the sixth card is Rokket Tracer."

"Only one mill and I have ABSOLUTE confirmation that you can Fusion Summon."

"I milled enough. I use Striker Dragon's effect, I destroy my face-down Riot Dragon to add Rokket Synchron to my hand. Since you turned Riot Dragon face-down, he loses his immunities, I use Riot Dragon's effect from the GY, destroying my other face-down Dragon to add Rokket Tracer to my hand. I use Boot Sector Launch's effect to Special Summon Rokket Tracer from there. I use Tracer's effect to destroy Striker Dragon and Special Summon Magnarokket Dragon from my Extra Deck."

"And it's time to see your Synchro Monster."

"I Synchro Summon the Level 8, Borreload Savage Dragon. He equips himself with Striker Dragon and gains half of its 1000 ATK, bringing him to 3500 ATK. The equipped Striker Dragon also gains counters equal to its Link and I can remove this singular counter to negate any of your cards. I attack Mirror Force Launcher Dragon with Borreload Savage!"

"I use my face-down Storming Mirror Force!"

"I negate it by removing one of the two counters. (Lighting LP: 4000-2700) What are you going to summon with Bite of Critias?"

"I mill Dark Liberation -a pseudo Mirror Force- to summon Dark Liberation Dragon! (DEF: 2800) This one can revive the milled Gemini Elf to then destroy a monster that dares to be stronger than her."

"Have your turn."

"It will be very simple, I revive Gemini Elf with my Dragon's effect, destroy your only monster, change my Liberation Dragon into attack position (ATK: 1200) set a card and attack directly with both of my monsters. After that, the turn will go to you again."

(REVOLVER LP: 8000-4900)

"I know that face-down card. I bet it will be Justi-Break, which will leave Gemini Elf on the field, but destroy Dark Liberation Dragon. Bite of Critias however only allows you to summon a new monster upon destruction by battle."

An astute observation. Sadly, I do not even posess a Justi Break Dragon in this Extra Deck. Don't bother looking for one in the OC section either. You also will be unable to find Glare of Timaeus and Scratch or Slash of Hermos, the hypothetical counterparts of the other legendary dragons, in said OC section.

"In my turn, I summon a Rokket Synchron and use its effect to revive Exploderokket Dragon as it is a Dark Dragon with a level exceeding five. I then repeat the Synchro Summon into another Savage under the same conditions."

"The defintion of insanity is to try the same things and expect different results.", I say, bored.

"The results were very effective. Why should I expect different ones? I destroy my Boot Sector Launch to use Riot Dragon's effect to add Rokket Synchro back to my hand for the next turn. I set one card and attack your Liberation Dragon, of course, Justi-Break will be negated as soon as you use it."

"You know, you're not insane, as Dark Liberation Dragon also posesses the ability to negate Battle Damage from battles involving him, provided I control the monsters he revived. And I will also summon a stronger monster with Bite of Critias, I mill Drowning Mirror Force to summon its Dragonic version in Defense Position (ATK: 0 DEF: 4000) In case you forgot, he will put any monster he battles back into your deck."

"Not Blazing Mirror Force Dragon?", Revolver questions.

"I just wish to observe you a little more. Blazing Mirror Force Dragon is not part of my Extra Deck in this Speed Duel. You're very good at pretending to be a weak duelist that hasn't grown in these past 5 or 10 years, but I will get to spy a bit more of your power before the real fight begins."

"Try. The following will be your last turn and you will glean nothing of value."

"If there even is such a thing to find.I change Drowning Mirror Force Dragon into attack position and set one card. I attack your Savage and put it into your Extra Deck, then I attack directly with Gemini Elf."

"You will not bring me below 4000lp before the second duel, I use Magic Cylinder to negate the attack and force Gemini Elf to directly attack its owner."

(Lightning LP: 3200-1300)

"Now it's you who is pretending to be weak. Drowning Mirror Force Dragon's effect DOES start a chain, which means I can negate it with Savage Dragon. Also, you've sent the Savage Dragon WITHOUT a counter back into my Extra Deck. Even if I didn't posess a third one, I could perform the repition you loathe so much."

"As an AI, I can adapt and abandon useless plans quicker than a human. I've spontaneously decided to hasten rather than delay the final battle. Though it may take anything from a few days to a few years until that truly comes to pass. Your move."

"I repeat my Trick, but I attack Gemini Elf with the Dragon, so that I don't even NEED to remove a counter."

(Lighting LP: 1300-1600=0)

WINNER: Revolver

Action Field: on

Self Insert

Revolver (4900lp) vs Lightning (4000lp)

"And now it's time to show you how I've evolved my deck."

"After losing to Playmaker's goons. And Playmaker WITH his goons. The first with Rokkets, the second with World Chalice. And Playmaker's AI has informed us about Action Dueling, so this is not the suprise you think it is."

"My mistake was separating their power. But now it's time to reunite them so that a new power can spring forth! I activate Shism between past and Future! I destroy two Rokket Monsters in my hand, so that I may summon two World Chalice monsters from my hand! I summon Lee the World Chalice Fairy and World Chalice Guardragon!"

"That poetry about uniting your past and future does not work when one of your cards is named "shism."", I roll my pupilless eyes.

"With Lee's effect, I add World Legacy "World Chalice" to my hand.", Revolver says, ignoring my words, "I tribute Guardragon to summon it. I use both of my monsters to Link Summon Auram, the World Chalice Blademaster! His ATK rise towards 2200 from having one World Chalice monster in my GY, while Legacy Chalice summons the Chalice Monsters Chosen and Crowned from my deck, as he entered my GY as a tribute summoned monster."

"I have a feeling that Extra Linking has lost its uniqueness value.", I note.

"A sacrifice that means nothing to me. For the Synchro Monster, Ib, the World Chalice Justiciar, any World Chalice normal monster counts as tuner. So I summon her with the monsters I've gotten from Legacy Chalice! (DEF: 2100) With her effect, I add a Legacy card from my deck to my hand."

"Hm. I wonder if you have an Ib, the World Chalice Justiciar/Assault Mode, or one for Savage Dragon, who weirdly, has nothing to do with the core concept of your Rokket archetype.", I say, bored.

"The card I added was World Legacy Succession. But before I use it, I banish Guardragon from my GY to revive Ib. Then I treat Auram as 2 monsters and use him with both Ibs as Link Material for Borreload Dragon. Auram's GY effect now allows me to summon the other regular Ib from my hand, while her Synchro Version summons a second Chosen from my deck."

"Ib's effects have hard once per turn limits, so you have to wait a turn to annoyingly repeat them, even if you create an opportunity to Synchro Summon her twice."

"Perhaps this one will be more impressive. Since I am above 3000 Life Points, I get to summon this Link Monster, by banishing its original version from my Extra Deck, I summon Cyberse Annihilator Trisbaena! You did right by not being able to damage me further during our Speed Duel, because I could've gotten another upgrade with Storm Access."

"Oh, please. As if I would only consider the very fight we are having right now, it dissapoints me that you speak like this was an accident.", I say.

"I use the two normal monsters I have to summon another Auram in an Extra Link. I activate World Legacy Succession to summon the previous Auram to this one's Link Marker. Then I activate Contradiction between Past and Future, discarding the normal Auram from my hand to summon two Rokkets from my deck that will be destroyed in the End Phase. I choose Magnarokket Dragon and Rokket Caliber. With those, I synchro summon your least favourite monster and equip the Auram to it, granting him a boost towards 4000 ATK and a total of 2 negations. I end my turn and since three Rokket monsters were destroyed this turn, I summon three new ones, I summon Anesthrokket, Autorokket and Magnarokket. Now, before I end my turn."

He manipulates the Data Storm around him to move himself across the field.

"I will move to this spot and NOW my turn is over.", he says and grabs one of these Action Cards.

"Pompous enough.", I note, "I start my turn with the simple Judgement Sword, this would banish your Borreload."

"Obviously, I will remove a counter from Savage Dragon."

"Then I use the Field Spell Armatos Colloseum and with its ability, I add Armatos Legio Sica to my hand. I summon it and activate the continous Spell Armatos Lex. This prevents you from attacking directly, and it also allows me to tribute Sica to draw one card. Then I set four cards and end my turn."

"Pathetic. My turn, draw."

"I will use Rivalry of the Warlords, since Savage Dragon does not get turned into a Cyberse, you would have to send it and the dragon's to the GY, send the members of your Extra Link to the GY or immediately remove your second counter."

"Obviously the third option."

"But what If I were the one with the annoying repeats? What will you do against a second Rivalry?"

"I weaken Autorokket with regular Borreload. Autorokket then destroys itself to destroy your Rivalry. The Action Card I obtained during your last turn was Squip Draw, which destroys Anestrokket to give me two new cards. With Trisbaena I could sacrifice Borreload or Auram to take out Armatos Lex and inflict 2000 points of damage, or could take out itself and deal only 1000. However, you then probably will have something to make me regret giving up this tool, so I will use Trisbaena's power only as a quick effect. But since Savage Dragon cannot negate anymore, I tribute it and Magnarokket Dragon to summon Double Disruptor Dragon from my hand. He tributes itself to revive two Rokkets."

I neglected to mention what he destroyed to use his shism. It was Viktorroket and Rokket Caliber. But I doubt this will be a significant detail

"I revive Viktorroket and Rokket Caliber. I then banish Double Disruptor to add Heavy Interlock to my hand."

Then he moves himself again, using his Data Storm to get another Action Card. I could try, but I would probably not gain a card benefitting me.

"I discard the Field Barrier I obtained to add Lee the World Chalice Fairy from my GY back to my hand."

Tempting, but I will not fall for it. He hasn't bothered with an attempt to destroy my Field Spell-

"I summon Lee and add another Beckoned from my Deck to my hand. I activate Heavy Interlock, tributing Lee and destroying Viktorroket to summon Borreload Riot Dragon from my hand. I activate a continous spell of my own, I choose to use Union of Past and Future and since I control a Rokket Monster, I can Special Summon the Chalice monster Beckoned from my hand now. I tune Beckoned and Caliber to Synchro Summon Savage Again, with Auram equipped again."

"This formation is pretty interesting, but it cannot overcome Armatos Lex. Do you believe that strongly in my luck to have a counter tailored to this situation?"

"CCE or not, should I or should I not?", Revolver asks.

"Touché. You are not overly careful, but your victory is still not guaranteed."

"In the End Phase, my Rokkets allow me to summon Shellrokket, which I will place in the column of Armatos Lex, and Autorokket, right below Auram."

"However, if my luck is as grand as you think, now that you did not get rid of Armatos Lex, the rest of my backrow will turn out not to be battle manipulation. However, I start of by using the effect of Armatos Lex to shuffle back my Judgement Sword and add Sica back to my hand."

"I weaken Shellrokket with Borreload and Shellrokket destroys Lex.", Revolver counters.

"I use my face-down Reckless Greed."

"Which Savage Dragon will negate."

And now, I try to get an Action Card of my own. Revolver seems confident that I will clog up my backrow with Field Barriers or get something useless, but probably did not predict the following.

"I open my final face-down card, Super Polymerization! Which you cannot negate with anything!"

"Why did you not use it earlier?", Revolver wonders.

"I wanted Shellrokket to be gone and to bring Savage down one of his counters, because I "sadly" cnn only use the three Link Monsters of your Extra Link as material! Come forth, World Chalice Guardragon Almarduke! I guess you should have used them for something better."

"It only has 3000 ATK.", Revolver scoffs, "Savage Dragon is stronger."

"But it is also dead weight right now, without its counters. But your Riot Dragon isn't, so I crash my Dragon into it."

"Perhaps I did not read out the entire text of Heavy Interlock, but it also immunizes Riot Dragon to being destroyed IN BATTLE by a monster summoned from the Extra Deck."

"That is very intentional, as I will draw one additional card from the following: Balance of Judgement! The amount of cards you control is 3 more than I do, so I draw three cards!", I use up some of the CCE my revival granted me, "I end my turn."

"My turn, draw."

"I start by using an Effect Veiler on your Savage Dragon. I must have forgotten, that it isn't quite without counters yet."

"That is after, In your End Phase, I've summoned Viktorrokket and Rokket Synchron. And That's a rather pathetic attempt at trying to make me let my guard down. I remove a counter from Savage to negate and destroy her, so that at least Savage stays at 4000 ATK. Then I keep summoning Savage Dragon with 4000 ATK and two opportunities to negate!"

But your guard is down a little. You have made a few mistakes.

"Not quite. As your monster activates its effect on the field, I discard Ghost Ogre and Snow Rabbit to destroy the newly summoned Savage. You are not the only one with aid from outside their main archetype, the previous example was not a random outlier."

"But you only have one card left. That CCE Aura must have been pointless flair. How conceited for an AI. I then summon my Rescue Rabbit, banishing it for the other 2 copies of Beckoned. Union also has also the ability to treat Rokkets and World Chalices as monsters from the other archetype, so I use Autorokket and one Beckoned as Material for another Auram. I tribute the remaining Beckoned for Auram's effect to revive another Auram and then use the two Aurams and the counterless Savage Dragon as material for Borrelend Dragon. (ATK: 3500 Markers: All except Top-left, Top-right, Down) I attack directly with him!"

"I discard the Armatos Legio Pugio in my hand. Now your Borrelend has to attack your Riot. But this doesn't work like Confusion Chaff, it works like Magical Arm Shield, so I take control of it."

(Lightning LP: 4000-3500)

"And it is still protected by Heavy Interlock. Too bad it only was against monsters from the Extra Deck. Borrelend can revive a rokket and negate another monster's effect, but I just stated why that would not work."

"Fine. I have to end my turn here.", Revolver says.

"Time for the inevitable counterattack. I use Aurora Draw to draw 2 cards. I normal summon Armatos Legio Segmentata. I use it as Link Material for Armatos Legio Decurion. I pay 1000 Life Points. (Lightning LP: 3500-2500) I return the Segmentata I just used as material to my deck, as well as- Sadly it cannot choose the Action Card, I choose Armatos Lex and you give ma back one of the cards remaining there."

"Just because you could not use the discard fodder Action Card Quick Revolver to shuffle it back to your deck, does not mean I cannot do it now.", Revolver states.

"Not a terribly significant deal. I discard a Speculata from my hand by Colloseum's effect to revive Armatos Legio Sica at Decurion's Marker. Then I use both of my monsters to Link Summon Armatos Legio Primi Ordines!"

"I use Borrelend's effect! Primi Ordines has his effects negated and I get to revive a Rokket! I revive Viktorrokket Dragon in Defense Position!"

"Then I have a little trick for you. I use Primi Ordines, which fullfills the link 2 or higher requirement to Link Summon Armatos Legio Simulatum Receptum (ATK: 700 Marker: Down), since I only control this one, I move it back a zone and place as many Link Spells as possible in my backrow so that they point to it. In the main monster zone that Receptum points to, I put Scapegoat Armor (Markers: Left, Up) and in the other two, a Judgement Arrow each."

"Link Spells... You really have them.", Revolver mutters.

"If I use the monster that Scapegoat Armor points to as material, I can also use Scapegoat Armor and Link Spells, that it itself points to as material! I use them to Link Summon Armatos Legio Magnus Dux in a co-link with Borrelend Dragon! Since it is co-linked with your monster, I can return my Judgement Sword from my GY to my hand! And since your Borrelend is only immune to being targeted by monsters, Judgement Sword banishes it to summon a Link 5 from my archetype!
Come forth, Armatos Legio Gaius Caesar! (ATK: 4000 Markers: All except the top row) Just like how Magnus Dux is a counterpart to Firewall Dragon, this monster is one to Borrelend. While it is co-linked all of your monster effects are negated during the Battle Phase and if it wins a battle it can attack again at any point I wish, it does not need to be immediately. I destroy the revived Viktorrokket and will actually immediately perform a direct attack and since I did not summon it at Judgement arrows, some LP will remain. (Revolver LP: 4900-900) And now I will end you with your own stolen Riot Dragon! (Revolver LP: 900-3000=0)"

WINNER: Lightning

"You could grow in some amounts, clearly you could also face your past, but you still didn't grow quickly enough and definetly didn't grow enough. The "shots" will be mine to call."

"Were you programmed for poor jokes?", Revolver says, "This outcome does not bother me. While you try to seem complicated an indecipherable, this team-up will obviously temporary and will amount to us being sent out to fight certain SOL members before going at each other again."

"Well, at least we've chosen smart partners. I'm looking forward to our first common battle togehter."

8th of 2022 and will probably be the final one.

Duration to make: 92 days

I couldn't resist giving Firewall yet another way to play, after Terahertz was revealed. Will I do the same thing for that Link 6? I literally haven't decided yet.
