"What the hell does that mean?" Trevor asked, narrowing his eyes at Ace.

"You're gonna have to just see." Ace replied.

VEGA added, "Fair warning, in this timeline Trevor and Sypha reincarnations are gun nuts as well as survivalists during a time when the threat of total world annihilation was an issue via a third world war."

Carmila spat out the wine she was drinking as she exclaimed. "WHAT!? What Third World War!? Who!? Why!? How!?" Was all she could get out.

"Goddamn it, VEGA!" Ace exclaimed before issuing everyone. "It never happened! There was a fear of World War 3 during the Cold War between the U.S and Russia."

Striga was intrigued but Dracula stood up and held his hand up to calm people down. "Mister Ace. I hope we will have a history viewing of events to learn more."

"You will, you will. But right now, I want you all to have some fun watching these." Ace said with his hands up.

Dracula nodded as he sat back down. Lisa, of course, using the menu system ordered some 'popcorn' which she was enjoying.

The screen came to life to show a desert. The sky was blue with spots of clouds drifting away. Down below, a truck drove up to a brick house when it stopped at the entrance and out of the driver's seat came Trevor Belmont wearing a baseball cap and button up shirt and had a mustache. "I don't know... I don't have an explanation. No tracks. No signs. No spores. You'd think with all those sheep, they'd have to have taken a shit someplace."

Out of the passenger's side, was Sypha Belnades with her hair tied up in a bun and sighed, "Yeah I don't understand it." Her European accent was gone, replaced with a Southern American accent.

Both Trevor and Sypha were shocked at how different they were and she exclaimed, "What is that accent!?"

However Trevor was stroking his upper lip. "Hmmm, I should consider growing a mustache."

"That's a Southern American accent." Ace answered.

"Oh, this is in America? Is it all just desert?" Isaac asked.

"No, this part of America is down in... Arizona I believe. Really it's just in the middle of nowhere." Ace replied.

Lenore was intrigued, "Will we learn more about America?"

Hector added. "Will we learn about the animals local to it?"

"Oh sure. In time." Ace nodded.

Sypha looked out into the distance before pulling out a pair of binoculars and put up to her face to see the town they lived nearby. All of the occupants, which were very few, were up on their roofs.

Striga raised an eyebrow. "Why are they on the roofs?" She asked as Hector being a man of animals already remembered what was said before but kept quiet until his theory was proven right.

"Something must be on the ground." Morana theorized.

Carnila scoffed. "Please, they are probably being hunted by something like my little precious here." She said rubbing her Panther's cheeks which resulted in happy purrs.

"Sure..." Lenore said with uncertainty.

The screen cut to the local store where Trevor's voice was heard coming from a black rectangle. "Yo Godbrand, this is Trevor. Come back." There was silence so he said, "Godbrand. Anybody copy?"

Suddenly, a body was lowered to the window where it was revealed to be an chubby African man with a bushy gray beard. He grabbed the rectangle and shouted, "I got it! Pull me up!"

He was pulled back up by Isaac and Hector who struggled due to the man's weight.

"Why didn't one of you two go?" Dracula asked, trying to understand the two.

Hector and Isaac both looked at each other as if to see who was to answer, until a thought came to them as both started doing a weird hand game which Hector cursed and responded to Dracula's question, "I'm not sure, Mi'lord."

"What the hell was that?" Sypha asked, perplexed by their hand game.

Ace groaned, "Goddamn it, another bleed-through."

Morana asked, "A what now-" Only to be cut off by VEGA, "Continuing playback!"

Once he was pulled up, he gave the rectangle which turned out to be a radio to Hector. Trevor's voice was heard, "Yo, who's minding the store, for God's sake!?"

Hector held the mic as he looked at Trevor and Sypha's house. "Trevor, listen! We found out what's been killing people."

Isaac reminded him, "Say Over."

Hector finished with, "Over."

Isaac shook his head in disappointment. "Do I have to remind you of everything?" He asked with a small smirk as Hector just groaned in embarrassment.

Striga asks, "Why must he say 'over' into that device?"

VEGA chirped, "It's called a CB radio and you say 'over' to indicate you have finished your transmission."

"Fascinating. How does their communication work?" Lisa asked with shining eyes.

VEGA chirped, "That is for another day I'm afraid. Spoilers, you see." The blue ball bounced a bit by Aces' side.

Lisa groaned in disappointment to which Dracula rubbed her arm in comfort.

Back at Trevor's house, the couple were in the basement where a wall of guns hung out. Trevor sat down on a chair with a huge walkie talkie in one hand and a can of Budweiser on the other. "Negative copy on that, Godbrand. Check your frequency. I'm on 22, come back."

There was a brief white noise before Hector's voice came out clearly on the other end. "Trevor, can you hear me now?"

Trevor sat up straight and asked, "Hector, is that you? What're you doing back, already?"

Sypha dumped a box of shell casings into a plastic container of sand. "Hey Trevor, there's something really weird going on over there. Everyone's up on the roof."

VEGA spoke into Ace's ear, "Makes you wonder what they shot at that got that much brass to be put into a brass cleaner."

Ace replied, "Hunting? Or perhaps shot at what they thought were the worms."

Trevor was whistling as he said, "That's a lot of guns!"

Sypha went to ask a question but Morana beat her to it. "Is this what that 2nd amendment that we read about in the library does for Americans?"

VEGA answered, "It does, in fact a Japanese military officer once said. "Behind every blade of grass is an American with a gun."

Trevor snorted, "That's funny."

Dracula spoke up. "No, it's a warning saying that a nation is so well armed and protected that taking it would be impossible without heavy losses for the invader."

"Yeah pretty much." Ace nodded.

Sypha put the lid on the container and turned it on, causing a loud rumbling sound.

Back over at the town, the Captain noticed a rolling lump in the sand before exclaiming, "Hey! I think it's going after Trevor!" Hector and Isaac watched when they saw some sand rolling.

Hector spoke into the radio. "Trevor, get out of your house and take your radio. You and Sypha get up on your roof. We'll talk later, ok? Over."

Hector was on his feet as he exclaimed, "It's attracted by sound! Oh great sweet mercy, it has to be huge to move that much earth!"

Striga grinned at the idea of fighting such a creature, "Then it will give a great fight!" She said with glee as her warrior side was speaking instead of her common sense.

"Striga!" Morana hissed at her wife.

"Up on the roof?" Trevor exclaimed. "Hector, what're you talking about?"

Sypha got frustrated so she said, "Damnit Trevor. Just listen to him! Something's wrong."

Trevor sighed before Hector shouted, "Hector, Jesus Christ! Get up on your roof! The things. They're under the ground, they're huge! They're bigger than we thought and they're coming right after you guys! They're coming right now!"

This made the couple have serious faces as they pulled out two bolt action rifles and checked the chambers to see that they were loaded. They went up to two different small windows to be on the lookout for something. When they couldn't see anything, Trevor went back to the walkie talkie and said, "We don't see anything, Hector. So what the hell are you talking about? Over."

Trevor was now shouting at the screen, "Get to the roof, you daft bastard!"

"Oh my God, Trevor is speaking in common sense. The world truly is ending." Adrian said in a dramatic and sarcastic way.

Greta smacked his arm. "Hey, be nice."

Dracula looked at the weapons and hummed, "Quite prepared, aren't they?"

"Almost reminds me of the Belmont Ancestral Home." Sypha said. "Except more... Modern, I suppose?"

Trevor facepalmed as he exclaimed at the screen once more, "Arm up and prepare for a fight!"

"TREVOR! THEY'RE UNDER THE GROUND! THEY'RE UNDER. THE. GROUND!!" Hector shouted into the radio before the screen cut back to Trevor's basement. "They can dig like a son of a bitch! Big monsters! Underground! Now get out! Hurry!"

Trevor and Sypha heard some rumbling coming from a wall so they looked at it and aimed their rifles at it. The rumbling got louder which caused their tools to fall to the ground.

Everyone was silent as they held a collective breath waiting for what was to come.

The wall of tools fell to the ground before the bricks exploded and sand fell into the hole where a GIANT FUCKING WORM BURSTED THROUGH THE WALL. It had peach colored skin with spikes on its side and a black beak with three mandibles.

Back with Hector, they heard Trevor shout, "WHAT THE FU-" before the radio cut out. Hector, Isaac, and the Captain looked down in sadness.

Everyone was silent and looked at the creature with disgust while Trevor was shaking with rage. However Striga was silent until she heard it. "Listen. LISTEN!'' Everyone's heads looked up at the screen as they heard the clear sounds of gunfire. Sypha sighed in relief, knowing exactly what that meant.

Their grieving was interrupted by the sounds of gunfire reaching outside of Trevor's house. They looked up at the house in the distance with hope in their hearts.

Back inside the house, Trevor and Sypha were firing their rifles at the giant worm which roared and snapped its jaws at them.

Trevor laughed while raising his cup, "A Belmont never goes down without a fight, you son of a bitch!"

Sypha watched and wrapped an arm around Trevor's. "Neither does a Belnades, you ugly motherfucker!"

Adrian watched the two and wondered, "What the hell did I miss…"

The couple ran out of ammo and watched as three snake-like creatures secreted from the worm's mouth. Trevor and Sypha ran to the wall of guns to get something else.

That was when one of the snakes wrapped itself around Trevor's leg and began to drag him away. "Ah! No no no!" Trevor exclaimed.

Adrian was in his boogeyman mindset and yelled, "Get the shotgun! Get the damn shotgun!"

Sypha ran up to the snake with a Winchester 1200 Defender with a Pistol grip and began unloading shells onto it before the snake blew up in half. The work shrieked and shoved its face into the floor above the basement.

Trevor smiled at Sypha, "Thanks for the save."

"Gotta keep my partner alive." Sypha nudged him with her shoulder.

"I see. So those snakes are its tongue and pulls you into its mouth." Dracula said while watching the creature.

Hector now had a scary thought come into his mind. "VEGA… you don't?"

Vega replied, "While our animal reserves have many species, we were smart enough to not have this species. At the least, we have their DNA preserved but no living specimens."

"Perhaps that is for the best." Lenore said with a shiver at the sight.

Trevor crawled back to the wall before grabbing the Heckler Koch HK91A2 and began unloading rounds into the worm while Sypha wielded a Colt AR-15 Sporter II and fired at it as well.

Bullet holes started appearing on the worm as it growled. Trevor and Sypha emptied their magazines so Trevor went into a drawer and pulled out a magazine to which Sypha exclaimed, "Magazine!"

Trevor tossed a magazine to Sypha before loading one into his HK91A2 and began unloading onto the worm once more.

Striga was stunned as she exclaimed, "What is it going to take to kill this beast!?"

Lisa suggested, "Something bigger?"

Adrian nodded, ".556 and .762 is hurting it, but it's not large enough of a caliber to kill it."

"Or perhaps a giant sword will do." Striga said with a grin.

"Absolutely not, Striga!" All three sisters exclaimed at her.

Soon, they ran out of ammo so Trevor dropped his weapon and pulled out a shotgun. The worm roared and Trevor fired into its mouth. This made the worm shriek and close its mouth. Sypha dual wielded a SIG-Sauer P226 and Ruger Redhawk.

Lisa was shocked as she exclaimed, "How many weapons does your other self have!?"

Trevor with a huge grin only said. "Yes."

"That giant sword is starting to come in handy now." Striga said with a grin.

The three sisters shouted again. "Striga! No!"

Striga only said, "Striga yes!"

Trevor unloaded his shotgun onto the worm until he ran out and looked at the glass cabinet. He ran up to it and bashed the stock into the glass and pulled out a William Moore Co. 8 gauge shotgun or an Elephant Gun. He pulled out a box of shells and began loading two shells into the barrels.

"Holy shit, that thing is huge!" Adrian exclaimed.

Trevor laughed, "I see your big sword Striga and raise you A BIG GUN!"

Striga just raised an eyebrow as she watched to see what power this new weapon had.

"What the bloody hell was that thing designed for?" Lisa exclaimed.

"Elephants." Ace replied

"Like the Wildey Magnum?" Striga asked.

"Yes." VEGA replied.

Sypha pulled a Flare Gun off the wall and managed to shoot it directly into the worm's mouth and stunned it.

Trevor cocked the gun by pulling back both hammers. Taking aim, he fired the first shot which made a huge hole in the worm. Sypha was seen covering her ears at the gun's deafening roar. Trevor fired another shot into the worm's mouth which exploded and it gave a death groan as it fell to the floor and died.

Trevor and Sypha cheered before he stood up and addressed everyone. "We are Trevor Belmont and Sypha Belnades. Don't fuck with us."

Jaws were dropped as they watched these two humans with nothing but homemade weapons take down a creature that by all normal means shouldn't have been killed easily.

Trevor dropped the Elephant Gun and glared at the giant worm while Sypha walked up to him and held him as he shouted, "BROKE INTO THE WRONG GODDAMN REC ROOM DIDN'T YOU, YOU BASTARD!!"

Trevor laughed as he held Sypha close, both of them were smiling.

"Impressive work, Belmont." Dracula said with a hint of a smile.

Striga crossed her arms and scoffed, "You got lucky, Belmont."

Trevor just gave her a two finger salute.

VEGA spoke. "Sadly your other self's time together wouldn't last."

"Wait, what? Why?" Sypha asked.

"Well you'll see." Ace said.

The screen lit up once more to show a TV screen with war going on. The camera moved to show Trevor on the recliner, eating celery. His face was disheveled with a beard forming as his eyes held no light in them.

Sypha's hands covered her mouth. Hector spoke up. "He looks so… so..."

"You look like how you did when we first met." Adrian finished.

"Alucard." Sypha said in a warning voice.

"No, he's right. I look terrible." Trevor said.

The phone rang so he picked it up and said in a bored tone, "Yeah..."

"Hey Trevor. It's Isaac. How're you doing? Listen, this sounds kind of funny because I'm on a radio phone. It's the only way I can call out of this thing."

Trevor was confused, "Isaac... Oh, Isaac!" The light returned to his eyes slightly. "Haven't seen you in a while." He turned the TV down so he could hear his friend.

Isaac was surprised. "Well, I guess we are friends."

Trevor chuckled, "Surviving subterranean worms from Hell will make those friendships."

"I suppose you're right, Belmont."

"Well I haven't seen you." Isaac commented, "So... How are you and Sypha doing?"

Trevor had sadness etched on his face at the mention of his wife's name. "Well she uh... She's still out there. Searching for those Graboids."

The screen cut to Isaac. He was no longer bald and had braided dreads that reached his shoulder and even had some facial hair growing. "Oh... Yeah?" Isaac asked in awkwardness, knowing that this might become difficult.

Sypha was silent. Hector however chuckled. "The plot thickens."

"Interesting style, Isaac." Dracula commented.

"Thank you, Lord Dracula." Isaac said.

"What the hell is a Graboid?" Adrian asked in confusion.

"That's the name of the worms." Ace replied.

"That is the stupidest fucking name I've ever heard for a creature." Carmilla said.

Trevor sighed, "You know she... Blames our problems on my denial that there's anymore of those bastards?"

"Really? And not on the collapse of the Soviet Union?" Isaac asked."

"Well that too. She did say that I couldn't handle life without the threat of global war. What kind of things does that say to a man?" Trevor looked lost.

"Well I don't know, Trevor, I guess-"

Trevor interrupted him, "Anyway. Takes more than that to get me down. I've been running around so much, it's lucky that you caught me home." The screen moved to show several deer heads mounted on his wall until it revealed the Graboid head with the three snake tongues out.

"You mounted that... Graboid? The hell kind of name is that?" Hector asked, bewildered by the name.

"Godbrand named them." Ace explained.

Carmilla and Dracula groaned, "Of course he fucking did." Carmilla said.

Trevor was silent as Sypha, both couldn't look at each other.

"Oh dear." Lisa sighed in sadness at the strain the relationship had.

Striga was silent before she said, "Maybe they can get back together." With slight hope in her voice.

"I hope so too." Lenore agreed.

Isaac, hoping to give him some hope, said. "Well Trevor, maybe she'll come back. I mean ya never-"

He would have continued but Trevor said in a broken but serious voice. "Isaac. She took the HK91." Isaac just cringed at that statement.

"You make it sound like she took the children." Adrian said

VEGA spoke up. "The HK91 is a very rare weapon because of a ban which made import and sale of such weapons impossible."

Striga sighed. "For a warrior to have such a rare weapon taken… I would be the same." She said in a sad voice.

Trying to change the subject, Isaac said, "Well uhh... I don't know if you'll be interested in this. I'm down in Mexico and I'm finding myself in this situation."

Trevor took another bite of a celery stick and asked with his mouth full, "What kind of situation?"

Isaac simply said in a low voice, "A Graboid kind of situation."

This made Trevor shoot up out of his chair, looking horrified.

Greta said, "That should get Trevor out of his depression."

Trevor was looking at the screen. "Where and when do you need me?" He said with a determined voice as if he was ready to go kill some hell creatures.

"Calm down, Trevor." Sypha said softly, holding his arm.

The next scene came as the older Isaac was seen with a young man, a rather nice looking woman that looked familiar as they hung around what looks to be a lab. Laying by the counter was a Car15.

The building began shaking, making the young man aim his shotgun at the window, "Oh man... Now what!?"

Isaac did the same with the Car15 until he lowered it with a bit of a smile. "It ain't no Graboid, it's something more dangerous." Cutting outside, a two and half ton truck came barreling down the road.

Hector chuckled, "Twenty gold pieces says it's Belmont."

"A fool's bet, Hector." Isaac said.

A giant truck drove in and parked on the side of the lab. They all walked out to see Trevor climb out. He was looking much better, having shaved but kept his mustache. "Monster HQ, I presume?"

Adrian just looked at Trevor with a raised eyebrow. "Is subtle not even in your vocabulary, Belmont?"

"Hell no." Trevor replied.

Sypha just facepalmed. Which earned her a pity pat on the shoulder from an android.

After introductions were out of the way, the young kid asked, "Hey what the hell ya got in here anyway?" He asks, touching the back of the truck which made Trevor yell,

"Hey! Hey! Don't touch it!" He said running to the back of the truck.

Trevor says with a single finger held up. "Never. Touch another man's things."

"Agreed." Isaac said with a nod.

"Absolutely." Hector nodded.

Lisa just sighed as she said with a shake of her head. "Boys and their toys."

"You have your possessions, we have ours, dear." Dracula said.

Trevor dropped the back as he said. "The truck I got was from the Mexican army along with a few other things on my wishlist." After he lifted the tarp, the truck's rear was seen filled to the brim with everything from explosives to huge crates and even boxes of ammo which were enough to overthrow a small third world government.

Hector coughed into his drink as he exclaimed, "GOOD LORD BELMONT!!!"

"And this is why I wanted us to go to the fucking Ancestral Home!!" Carmilla said, pinching the bridge of her nose.

Sypha just stared with her jaw dropped all the way to the floor. "Just when I thought you couldn't surprise me anymore… your other self goes and does THIS!" she threw her arms up at the screen.

"This will definitely be enough to take on those... Graboids. That is such an idiotic name." Dracula said.

Trevor dropped down with a goofy grin. The girl with them started laughing hysterically before she calmed down and asked. "A bit much, don't you think?" All three just stared at her as if she was crazy.

Morana agreed, "No! She's making sense!"

"Morana, you saw how many weapons it took to destroy one of those creatures. Imagine what they could do with all of that." Striga said.

Morana pointed at Belmont and said, "That's what scares me! Imagine if he had all of that!"

Trevor put a hand on his chest and acted offended. "I'll have you know-"

"Enough." Dracula said with a bit of authority to it. "Let us worry about Belmont's excessive use of firepower later and watch the universe."

Striga soon looked closer at the screen. "Wait a minute… MORANA!?"

Morana snapped her head at Striga and shouted, "What!?"

"You're in there." Isaac said.

"Wait what?" She then looked at the screen and saw her other self before she said. "Well… That's unexpected."

VEGA said, "Continuing playback."

Morana took note of the folks staring at her so she added, "Maybe I'm wrong... But I hope I'm right." Before walking away.

Trevor watched her leave before looking back at Isaac and the young boy. He pointed a thumb at the content in his truck. "This makes my homemade stuff look like cherry bombs. Thermite, C4, TNT, High Explosives. H.E."

Adrian groaned. "Oh dear, he has that grin, that grin! That horrible grin!" He exclaimed through his double facepalm.

Lisa asked, "What's wrong with Belmont grinning like that?" Adrian looked at his mother as if she lost her mind.

Trevor grinned like his counterpart and just said, "hehehehe worm go boom." With a voice of someone who wasn't all that smart.

"Oh I see…" Lisa said in realization.

The new kid asked a really dumb question, "Is there such a thing as Low Explosives?"

This made Trevor look at him weirdly before answering, "Well y-yes. I mean, the Federales offer you anything you want and you take one case of dynamite?"

Trevor nodded, "I agree. When the big bosses are footing the bill, why go small when you can go big!"

Striga voiced her opinion. "You need a big sword! Biggest one possible to crush your foe!"

Morana and Sypha facepalmed at the shared brain cells between the two.

Trevor noted, "Speaking of, I've got some new equipment for you gentlemen." He opened a case to pull out the Elephant Gun before handing it to Isaac.

"Shotgun? We're not hunting rabbits down here, Trevor." Isaac said, holding the gun before opening the chamber to check if it was loaded.

Trevor scoffed as he parrots his other self. "Not shotguns, double rifles!"

"Finally, my chance." Isaac had a rare smile on his face at being able to use such a majestic weapon.

VEGA floated over to Isaac, "If you wish. You may try out our selection of double rifles in the armory during a break."

"I would very much like that." Isaac said.

VEGA chimed. "A session has been booked for lane 7." Before floating back to Ace's side.

"Now, a good treat." Trevor said before pulling out a giant sniper rifle.

The new kid was shocked, "Oh my... What is this!?"

"Grizzly single shot, 50. Caliber BMG based on a World War 1 Anti-Tank cartridge." Trevor said with the biggest smile on his face.

Greta was grinning. "Now that's a weapon!" Remembering her time with the 'civilian anti-tank rifle.'

While Adrian groaned again. "Oh god, Father please! Please promise me when guns are Invented we don't let the Belmonts have anything bigger than a rifle!"

Dracula, stroking his chin said, "I agree they shouldn't."

Adrian had hope as Greta smirked. "Wait for it…"

To which Dracula finished, "Unless I have the same as them. I do believe I should have an armory equal to the Belmonts." Adrian double facepalmed again as he said in a muffled voice. "We're doomed."

"No, son. We are safe." Dracula said with a smug grin.

"Anti-Tank!?" Isaac exclaimed as he held the bullet for the Grizzly.

"The bullets are casted from solid bronze." Trevor smirked at him.

Isaac sighed in exasperation, "Man Trevor, you put a whole new shine on the word 'Overkill'"

Trevor simply said, "When you need it, and don't have it. You sing a whole different tune."

As the screen went dark, everyone slowly looked at Trevor with a mix of emotions as Hector finally broke the silence as he asked, "Belmont. Is the word overkill not in your vocabulary?"

Trevor just grinned as he said, "Hey, I'm a simple man doing what I can with what he's got." He leaned back with both hands behind his head, still having that huge grin on his voice.

End
