P — Pregnancy
Standing together the two monks looked to their friends, waiting for their reactions. Clay immediately cheered, jumping from his seat to pull the two into a giant bear hug. His joyous shouts of becoming an Uncle could be heard across the entire temple.
Dojo, sitting atop of the wooden dining table cried happy tears into his tail. He was there when they had told Master Fung, but he took any excuse possible to be there for the second announcement. After all, it wasn't every day – or every decade – that a baby was announced at the temple.
Just shy of twelve weeks, Kimiko couldn't help the smile of her face; her fingers resting on her lower stomach, tracing across the clothing. They had held off telling anyone as long as they could, but they still had a duty and knew it wouldn't be too much longer before hiding the bump became difficult. Not to mention the added risks with fighting evil.
There was, however, one thing the Dragons of Fire and Wind could not truly predict.
"You are what?"
Omi's response.
"I'm pregnant," Kimiko repeated, "Raimundo and I are having a baby,"
The youngest of the group stared blankly at the two. They simply waited, preparing themselves for whatever questions he may have.
"I thought babies were left at front doors for people."
"No, that's just you," Raimundo joked, smirking at the glare coming from his wife.
"But then how are you—"
"Before you finish that sentence, I need to quickly change the topic," Kimiko interjected, turning her attention to the cowboy and the dragon. "We wanted to keep baby shower gifts simple, so we know what you can do for little pumpkin here,"
"Anything!" Dojo exclaimed, his excitement shaking through his body.
"The two of you can answer absolutely any question Omi may have throughout Kim's pregnancy," Raimundo answered, grabbing the giggling Kimiko by the hand before pulling her into the courtyard, fleeing their reactions.
"That's cruel!" Clay shouted through the door. His best friends' evil laughter his only response.
Turning from their escape, Clay's eyes landed on the patiently waiting monk.
"I have many questions, Clay,"
Oh, he'd get them back for this.
