"Grab my hand!"
Leaning back, Raimundo stretched his arm downwards, desperate to reach her.
Keeping herself afloat, Kimiko used the water to her advantage. Pushing herself up, her head went for Raimundo's.
Their fingers touched, the distance enough for Raimundo to grab hold of her hand, pulling her from the water. It took all his strength to help her upsidedown, his abs thankful for the helping hand once she was safe.
Sitting together, Kimiko deeply inhaled as Raimundo looked at the Texan ranch now flooded with water.
"Thanks," Kimiko patted his arm.
"Anytime," he promised. Relieved to see her breathing had evened out. "You good?"
"Yeah, I think so," she looked herself over, confirming her words. "Water's not so fun when you're all about fire,"
Omi's sudden scream diverted their attention. Flying across the water, the two were surprised to see the source of his transport.
"We should help," Kimiko uttered, her eyes on Old Bessie.
"If you get stuck in the water again, shout, okay?"
Grinning, Kimiko looked to her friend. "Sure thing, hero,"
