One Warrior. Two Souls
The Shadow of Drayko/Draykogänger
Original Design
This was the original design for the dark side of Drayko Ryder, representing the inner rage that was born from Stoick and what lies within. Think of it like the original design of The Scarecrow from the Batman: The Animated Series episode "Nothing to Fear" because afterwards, I have a new design to be used in mind but for now; I will be making the best of this design
The Shadow of Drayko had a off blonde to cream and fun to mellow yellow as well as kumera to clay creek tan showered overtone to his skin when exposed to the light, his eyes were a tiger to a goldfish with a coquelicot orange to a mostly rosewood and dark tan to a totem pole red color to his eyes; due to a basilar skull fracture that was caused by Creed he had raccoon eyes which were formed into shadowed rings around the borders of his red colored eyes. His armor, mask and hair were darker compared to his counterpart with the latter bordering on near black; with a lust for blood and a sought out desire for a fair challenge with his enemies. But he was rash as he was with a tendency to gamble by putting their lives on the line, all in all nevertheless he did have something to say to his counterpart if he was ever on the verge of being killed
"Know that you submit with satisfaction in giving me the best challenge in your eyes, which can be better spoken than for the others who see me as nothing more than the darker mirror half of ourselves..."
New Design
Now this is more like it, I based this one off of the Sand Wraith from where else? Prince of Persia: Warrior Within because it looks both badass and scary at the same time. He's the beastly doppelganger that stalks the Knights at certain times and whenever he's here, Drayko mysteriously vanishes and is absent for as long as he is present; before the reveal after Toothless seemingly kills him on Drago's orders. A few chapters are dedicated to his darker half as he uses an artifact that allows the user to become the inner demons that live within
The beast bore a grease to leather and soot to coal with a metal as well as a crow to a charcoal brownish black color to the skin, which featured a sepia to overly chocolate and bronze taffeta velvet shine that blended well with the black skin; even bearing a tortilla to a peanut brownish colored macaroon to a fawn and biscotti to a light beech tan color on the inflicted scars, which seems to be bleeding grains of sands from the deep cuts and gashes slashed on the surface with a sword. There were dark di serria to tussock with a copper and potters clay tan colored series of tattoos resembling crystalline yet hot sap of a tree that had not only blood running through in multi-branching veins to vessels, but a lot of hot boiling grains of sand that splattered when it was struck with a bladed and blunt based weapon along with the actual blood that splinters on the solid surface like the ground or even walls. It's face featured macaroon cream to an winter mood along with a master mix to scotch mist and a snowfall to marble with a mascarpone to a china white colored markings on the upper face that include the eyes around the darker, more heavily shadowed rings with it's gaze taking on that of piercing forest green eyes that are both brightened into a light pear to shamrock and emerald green color; emitting light even in what was the darkest locations such as caverns full of mist that was hard to see. Sharply pointing and edged stretch marks ran across the lower body even, with it's curling tip hair sporting what was a drenched texture running all over what appeared to be the same dragon rider mask that was made of alternating side colored strips on either side; but looked the same on both of the left and the right sides respectively. The tattoos on this beast were a faint dark shadow to a trout to smoke like mouse and sardine grey color, the shape of them taking on abstract tribal designs of multi-branching to barbing swirls alongside spirals and curving bicep sleeves running across the body in the background; forming shields among everything that was seen. Furthermore as if it were to disrespect Drago's Bewilderbeast by seeing him as a joke to be laughed at, there were very dark scars alongside filthy dust staining the skin like the sand flowing within; downwards facing dreadlocks based frills that each of them were vertically sloping down and curving off at the tips from the back of the head. On the arms there were a series of ripped, filth stained and tattered cloths that ran around the arms up to the biceps; having tailed ends blow in the wind that followed wherever the beast went. Single rectangular stripes went down the middle of the eyes before they swirled into tribal horns of a ram, starting out in the center as it then went to the lower right and overhead into what was a sharpened tip that faced down to the lower back of the left and right cheeks; though all of which bled down as if it were dried liquid. Hell, there were tattoos forming the spinal cord like weapon that it wielded as such and the muscles that ran across were horizontal skeletal muscle threads alongside raised veins that were also apart of the illusion that they're popping out; at least a little for that vertically ribbed muscle tanktop shirt like feeling texture when a naked hand was running through to the touch. Around it was a ripped and tattered cloth forming into a battleskirt that appeared on the sides, two large holes diagonally went down on the right side as both sides curved downward over to the back; both of which had large tattered cuts that hung on which then went up into narrow slices and which then formed a mountain range of straight to diagonally ripped pieces of cloth, all of which gave the look of a battered warrior who went to hell and back, a long journey that never ended had finally reached the thrilling conclusion and of course there were a few more ripped holes but none of the ripped, tattered pieces or holes were made worse with by either the likes of the environmental hazards or enemy strikes from weapons. No, they stayed the way that they're all presented with to the wearer; there were also clawmarks present too on the battleskirt and it's clearly visible pattern was of outlined Persian styled floral which were all slightly smoky, the cloth was also very leathery with that shine and it sported a raised seamless diamond shaped pattern all over. It was a low-lit darkblood red colored shade that complimented this beast like appearance to this unknown entity. Finally, there was a dark log cabin greenish olive along with an asparagus to thunder as well as a chicago and a zeus grey color to the stained white color; the thing about this wraith here is that neither Drayko nor this beast can strike each one another, without causing pain to the other. Could the two be linked somehow?
Weapon of Choice
Naming this weapon has turned from a simple irrationality to a full on son of a bitch, and I had been forced with no choice but to give it the name that you're about to see at the end of this description right here
The Shadow of Drayko's chained bladed tail that's embedded from his shoulder right down to his arm for him to slash, grapple to swing across, stealthily choke someone to death just like a garrote strangulation cable from behind resembled that of a spinal cord from the cervical and the inner hooking coccyx segment; which is flexible in between the flattened and sharpened broadened edged plates all connected through a extendable cable, giving the weapon all the varied purposes as a tool to the darker half of Drayko as his shadow. What cuffed around the shoulder was a hook that had a long, overarching barb on the top and a short barb which was on the bottom; this bladed tail of a chained whip like weapon stabbed itself into the skin, yet he felt no pain as if it were apart of him entirely. It's where at the tip of the closely connected and near loose separate platings that had sideways to backwards curving and overarching like barbed scimitar blades, resembling that of the Eagle Sword for the ornate faces on both front and the back sides, the Lion Sword for the half circular shaped scooped serrations that went along the cutting side of the blade and the Scorpion Sword that featured three barbed tips; a trio of these swords which are of Persian origin is what gave the tip of the seemingly sentient bladed tail bore, which was something of what gave him the identity of this weapon. It was at the tip of course: the sentient like bladed tail at the end had a horizontal oval shape, forming into a rounded edged inverted triangular shaped with two downwards slanting diagonal ovals for the eyes; which also had vertical ones for the dilated orbs acting as both of the pupils, but they could also turn into thin slits as part of the sentience that this bladed tail seemingly had. The tip also had three oval shaped appendages that appeared with two on the sides from the top and the lower sides, one even acted as the diagonal outward slanting earplates; the nasal slits at the front with the lower snout had downward sloping and beaking hook shaped tips at the upper and lower tips, the center of the top in between the earplates had two halves that formed a vertical oval on either of the left and the right sides. The segmented plates were all shaped like vertebra bodies with a intervertebral disc in between each of them, the upper to the lower tips of both segmented platings were at least three chainlinks that were an combo between the snail, the box and the snake type chain that were all connecting from one plate to the other as it was holed in the middle with a flat mariner-anchor styled chainlink; both of the left and the right sides curved into a lower half circular scoop shaped cut that then sloped upward into a barbed tip at the top, forming into a S-letter zulfikar blade shape at the ends of the sides as they sloped down and outwards at the ending tips all the while being barbed in a series of five Lion to Scorpion Sword shaped tips to really gut through skin and armor alike. At the surface of both the front and the back sides as the edges slanted downwards on the front, and upwards at the back faces; it featured tribal floral foilage that looked like leaves which of course became a vine underneath that turned into a thinning spiral like curling tip, as the line on the bottom went underneath to form a reptilian creature that formed a crescent moon of which had an arm and a leg on the bottom which became a downward slanted ribbed leaf like speartip tail touching the back leg of a lion based creature. That tail was at the top of the back left leg that went downwards into a oval like shape which curved up into a hooking tear drop shape, the back leg extending back the most while the right back leg went further ahead just before going horizontal to the clawed paw hooking a little inward; the head turning back with a snarling open fang bared mouth expression as the cat had it's left front paw raised to strike, and the right front paw to catch onto a creature it was appearing to chase, one that looks like a rat that had both legs slanting backwards as the right back leg went out and the left one had slanted forward before going out as well looking like it's trying to dash away from the lion. It had the rat's tail slope upward with the tip of the tail hooking inward to the back as the body left a oval shaped gap in between the two legs, the left front leg went down and didn't go as horizontal for long as it stopped short and the right front leg curved down by going forwards out the most; the head faced forward with the expression having it's mouth open and both of it's ears pointed back, the fur curving up backwards on top as the engraving was outlined with thick stripes which barbed at various places but the bodies all had gaps along with the limbs to the heads and the tails that were all solid. The gaps were the same color as the silvery face that was carved into though the heads had gaps while the expressions of the lion and the rat it chased did not, the gaps were all for shading so there's nothing wrong with that and all the barbed points of the beast and prey alike were meant to resemble spiked out threads of fur. The floral and the lizard came from on the front and top, the lion and the rat came curving to the lower side as Persian artwork was all present on the faces. The background of the faces at the left to right sides were all but thin lines that were curving and barbing at every place, so it couldn't leave any solid place uncovered with them. The front and the back sides also slanted downward at the front and upwards at the bottom in a narrow fashion like the face of a sword all in the same, the top and the bottom tips of each bladed platings each had a trapezoid cuff that were vertical with a rectangular bar on the top and the bottom; bearing three kunai like diamond shaped speartips that went vertically up and down to the front and the back of them to point that one out, both sides having a large circular half shaped scooped cut for serration purposes. The bladed tail was broadened at the sharpest edge to have the deadliest cut that draws blood with every slash and swipe with this chained weapon, the Night Fury head shape tip was a sign of knowing himself and keeping true to whatever was ripping him in half; now of course it bore the awfully familiar look of Toothless as that's something that wasn't seen at first notice by the dragon himself as of the various times before now, this was at the lowest point where the two fought as if the two lost sight of their brotherhood as he's possessed by Drago's Bewilderbeast, the Black King who motioned all dragons he controlled to take closer look at the weapon and even to his own human that beaten him into a living weapon. All this since the days he was hatching out of that egg, not to mention another hint to the sentience of this bladed tail for a weapon was that there's no true length it can extend to as it can be as long enough to strangle someone to death from above; or it can be as short enough to block a strike and even catch the weapon to disarm the enemy, wrapping the blade around the neck to decapitate it in a bloody fashion. This was not the first time he was seen like this dark side, this darker half of himself as that happened back at Persia when he killed Mahasti, the leader to the House of the Cat which is a Scythian tribe exclusively full of women who use acrobatics and graceful dances to combat their foes. Starting from the sacrum and the coccyx tailbone of a hook stabbing into the skin all the way to the Night Fury head shaped tip, it was deadly in the hands of Drayko and only something he could master with skill as both a weapon and a tool. This was also known by a name that he himself had come up with, a self-owner named bladed tail weapon called the "Draykotail" but in spite of the Persian themes surrounding all of the chained whip; it was of Scythian origin and belonged to Mahasti who imbedded this in his arm but now it was stolen from her, repurposed to be used by him and only him alone
