Disclaimer: What! You know just as well I do that Yu Yu Hakusho doesn't belong to me!
A/N: This is basically a short drabble series concerning my favorite pair Hiei/Botan (and if you don't like it then... go away or something). The prompts come from this group called 30kisses (from LiveJournal).
Oh, and this is also my first attempt at writing YYH. I tend to be vague, so let's hope I don't mess it up!

Chapter I
(look over here)
"Onna, come here." The short fire youkai called over a certain blue haired woman.
"Yes, Hiei?" the Grim Reaper left her conversation with the others to see what on earth Hiei could want. "It's not like as if he's talkative or anything," she murmured to herself, "It's not like as if he's ever had a care for me before..."
"Look." Hiei pointed out to the sky. It was a beautiful amalagamation of reds, oranges, darkened yellows melded with blues, lightened purples, and various hints of pinks.
"I don't understand, Hiei." Botan was confused. Was he trying to show her the sunset? Since when did he care about the trivialities of nature?
"It's nice, isn't it, onna?"
Despite her mass confusion concerning his current words, she smiled and agreed. "Indeed it is, Hiei, indeed it is."
Thoughts of nervousness clouded the young youkai's mind. He wanted to mention something else- no, do something else; not just stand about and waste time. Well, he was fast, and she was ditzy, perhaps she wouldn't notice...
Botan was still staring at the slowly setting sun and the surreal painting that it was leaving behind on the sky. All of a sudden, she felt a odd sort of feeling on her left cheek, like as if she were poked there, but softly. She turned her head and saw nothing, no bugs flittering in the sky, and there wasn't a strand of hair to bother her there. Just what was that? She stared at the spot left to her for a bit more, and then came to the realization that Hiei (who had just been standing there) was missing. Hmmm. Go figure.
Hiei ran off as fast as he could from the rooftop of the apartment complex, and jumped onto a balcony ledge on his way down. Deciding that he had stepped on the correct ledge, he hurried inside the apartment and waited on floor by the T.V. for the others to come back in. Finally finding time to breathe properly, only one thought made it's home in his head: Would a human consider that a first kiss?

A/N: So how's that for a first chapter? Oh, and because of my vaguetivity (which is totally not a word), I guess I should mention that this is taking place on the rooftop of Kurama's apartment building. It just makes for a good scene, methinks. Oh! And each chapter isn't really supposed to follow with the other, they're just a bunch of mini-stories and... yeah. Just an FYI. :)
R & R, please! Reviews are food and I've got a big appetite!
