Hello readers,

Here's the next chapter. I hope you enjoy.

Sammy9992 – Thank you, I'm glad you are enjoying it. You raise an important point about how much information Night Terror can give away. He's stuck between loyalty to his traditions and loyalty to his new clan, so you can imagine his internal difficulties.

Djinn – Thank you as always. I plan to make more excerpts like that throughout the whole story.

danielsnow - Thank you so much. Can you be a bit clearer in your critique? I'm having trouble understanding what you mean. Whether he would learn the other Great Fears is an interesting concept and I do like the idea of him having a wolf. Don't worry about Mirajane. I don't plan on her being jealous a running gag.

Thanks you all :)

Chapter 4: A Long, Long Day

Fairy Tail Guild Hall

9:00 am

Night Terror sat at his usual table in the corner of guild, watching over his guildmates. Lucy, Natsu and Happy had gone on a job together and he had made no plans to take a job himself. So, he decided to take it easy today.

"Hello, Night," came the bright voice of Mirajane as she brought over his pot of tea and laid it on the table.

"Good morning, Miss Mirajane," Night Terror greeted back, noting how closer she was to him than usual, "how are you?"

He looked up and was surprised to see that her face was not as happy as it was normally. Her smile was smaller, and her eyes didn't sparkle as much.

"Oh, I'm fine," she answered in a lacklustre tone, "the tea is lemon an ginger, hope you enjoy," she said as she walked back into the kitchen.

Night Terror watched her go, feeling concerned. He saw that Lisanna was passing by and decided to ask her.

"Miss Lisanna," Night Terror called out catching the silver haired girl's attention.

"Hey, Night. What do you need?" she asked walking over.

Night Terror tilted his head to the side, "Miss Mirajane seems upset. May I enquire why that it is?"

Lisanna gave him a tight smile, "Elfman wasn't paying attention when he was doing his morning exercises and accidently smashed Mira's guitar," she explained sadly.

"Oh dear," Night Terror uttered. He knew how much Mirajane liked that guitar.

Lisanna nodded before turning to look at her sister.

"She's forgiven him, but she obviously still feels bad about it since she's had it for a long time. I haven't seen her this upset since the infestation in the kitchen," she continued.

"I remember that infestation. My apologies," Night Terror said, earning a nod from Lisanna.

She then whipped her head towards Night Terror in confusion.

"Wait a minute, why are you apologising for the infestation?" she asked.

Night Terror took a sip of his lemon and ginger tea, "I forgot to put up fear charms for vermin before I left on my job that day. I know how much Mirajane hates cockroaches," he explained much to Lisanna's shock.

"Oh…I did not know that. Might explain why the kitchen has been spotless despite the guild being next to a lake," she muttered, "still would've been better if I had known this before I replaced all the rat traps last night," she said sending a small glare at Night Terror.

The Phobos coughed in embarrassment.

Night Terror began to think about Mirajane. She had served the entire guild for years now, with a bright personality. She had also been serving him tea and telling him good morning every day. He could tell from her flushed cheeks, her anxious interactions, the small glances across the room and wide, forced smile that she was deathly afraid of him.

(A.N: Phobos never really learned the subtle differences between the nervousness of being afraid of someone and the nervousness of having a huge crush on someone. They are more or less the same thing for them. There's even a story about it in the Tome of the Phobos, but maybe another time.)

He must be a massive burden on her. Perhaps he can do something nice for Mirajane.

Finishing his tea and standing up, Night Terror then turned to Lisanna.

"I am going out and shan't be long," he declared, heading for the door.

Lisanna watched him go with perplexed face.

"Huh, I wonder what he's planning."

Streets of Magnolia

9:30 am

Night Terror had been browsing the shops of Magnolia, using his Dall Ri Eagal as a cover. He had eventually found the right shop on a side road off the main street which had many musical instruments at the window.

Night Terror saw, who he assumed, the owner of the shop, a middle-aged man in a brown suit and wearing circular glasses, placing a board with the words 'Open For Business' on it.

Night Terror dropped the Dall Ri Eagal and approached the owner from behind.

"Excuse me, sir," he said to the balding man.

The owner turned around to face his first customer with a broad smile.

"Yes, how may I he-" the owner took one glance at Night Terror, yelped and bolted into his shop, locking the door behind him.

Night Terror looked at the locked door for a couple seconds in confusion.

"Oh dear, I must have startled him," he told himself before approaching the shop door.

Using the tip of his clawed finger, her tapped on the door three times.

"Excuse me, I wish to purchase a guitar," he called through door.

"Er…sorry," the voice of the owner called back nervously, "we are all out of guitars at the moment. Goodbye."

Night Terror hummed and looked towards the shop window, "Can I not purchase the one in the shop window?" he called back.

It took the shop owner a couple of seconds to respond this time.

"That's…a display model. Not for sale," the owner responded.

Night Terror frowned and looked at the shop window again.

"That's quite a shame," he said out loud since he no reason to doubt the owner, "can you recommend anywhere I can purchase a guitar, sir?" he asked.

"Err…try…Forga Village, it's just south west of Magnolia," the owner suggested.

Night Terror hummed, "Forga Village, I see. Thank you, sir," he said summoning Mabel the shadow horse and mounting it.

As Night Terror rode away out of Magnolia, the shop owner opened his door a little bit and peered out.

"That was a close one," he sighed, "imagining threatening me when the guild is just around the corner."

Outside Forga Village

11:00 AM

Night Terror was approaching Forga Village, riding through the scenic green fields of lower Fiore. His thoughts were occupied by Lucy and her investigation into the Phobos Clan. At first, he was flattered that somebody was taking an interest, but then doubts started to form.

Fear magic was powerful with unpredictable consequences and he doesn't want Lucy to succumb to it. Night Terror's worries had become worse when he remembered one particular story.

Sgeulachd an tuathanaich

Or The Story of the Farmer

Long ago,

A daonna farmer was in dire circumstances,

Throughout the harvest season, his crop was attacked by a flock of crows every day,

Once he had eventually chased away the flock, however, the damage was already done, and his fields were left barren.

The farmer had only one field left, and he knew the crows will return the next day,

If he did nothing, he and his family would starve during the harsh winter months.

A Phobos belonging to the kin of Trom-Laighe heard of the farmer's plight and took pity on him,

Sneaking into the farmer's dream, the Nightmare talked to the poor farmer,

The Nightmare told him that she can teach him how to scare away the crows so that he and his family could eat,

The farmer was grateful and thanked the Nightmare.

However, the Nightmare made the farmer promise to only use what she taught him on no other living thing but the crows that desolate his crops,

The farmer agreed and promised the Nightmare happily,

And thus, she taught him.

The next day, as the farmer saw the flock of crows fly towards his field, he went to them and used the magic he was taught,

To the farmer's delight, the crows squeaked and shrieked and flew away from the field,

And so, the farmer and his family would not starve.

However, as the farmer strolled around his fields one day, he spotted a group of rowdy youths damaging his land,

The farmer persuaded them to leave, but they would not listen,

Without a thought of the consequence, the farmer used the fear magic to scare away the youths away from his land.

Once the parents of the youths discovered this, they marched to the farmer and demanded he apologise,

The farmer believed it was unfair that he was being punished for protecting his land and so scared away the parents as well.

The parents told their village's mayor of the famer's actions and so the mayor sent a mob to arrest him,

But yet, the farmer scared them away.

With his new power clouding his mind and preventing him from seeing the causes of his actions,

The famer began to scare everyone.

He terrorised the villagers,

He frightened the animals and the wildlife,

He even scared his family out of their home.

He forgot the Nightmare's promise and rejoiced in his dominance over the land.

That is until the day he met his repercussions,

The farmer was walking across his land when he felt something in his mouth,

He reached in and pulled out a single straw of hay,

He pulled out a second and a third and continued to do so as he joints became stiff and his skin turned rough,

He could feel straw scratch his throat as he felt his body become rigid,

Straw entered his arms, his body, his legs and up into his head,

He tried to scream, but found that his mouth had been sewn up by string,

His skin had become a rough fabric and his eyes had become black buttons,

Eventually he stopped screaming, stopped moving and stopped living.

The Nightmare warned him of the dangers of fear,

How if you do not treat it with care, it can take revenge on its user.

The farmer stands there to this day in his field,

Watching over his crops and scaring away any who wish to harm to it,

For the farmer had wished to scare away the crows,

And his wish had been granted.

Night Terror didn't like that story. He always thought it was the Nightmare's fault for granting such power to the farmer.

He didn't want Lucy to suffer the same fate.

"Oh, woe is me!" a voice cried, snapping Night Terror out of his thought, "Why, oh why can't you accept my feelings, oh dear Ophelia?"

Night Terror spotted a man sitting on a rock on the side of the road. He was short and plump and looked to be in his mid-twenties. His hair was brown and wavy, and he had a small moustache. He wore a dress shirt which was a couple sizes too small for him and a pair of ill-fitting brown trousers. However, what caught Night Terror's was the acoustic guitar he laid beside him on the ground.

"I've tried everything, everything!" the man wailed, "But yet you elude me, dear Ophelia! Why oh why must you play with my heart my sum-"

"I'm sorry to interrupt," Night Terror said, making the weeping man jump.

Leaping to his feet and pointing an accusative finger, he proclaimed, "A demon! A demon! Have you come to take my soul!?"

Night Terror looked at him for a couple of seconds as the strange man kept pointing at him.

"I am not a demon, nor do I take souls, I assure you," he told him.

The man laughed as he placed his hand on to his waist.

"Oh I see, you hope to make a deal with me in order to get my soul! So, what is it!? Are you giving me great power to banish my enemies!? Are you going to make me a prince of a distant land!? I assure you demon, that whatever you offer me you will never get a hold of my soul, foul one!" he declared proudly.

Night Terror sweat dropped, "I can't do any of what you suggested. Also, 'foul one' is a bit rude. We only just met."

The man didn't listen to him, but instead dropped to his knees and got into a begging pose.

"Fine, if you insist on taking my soul…"

"I really do no-"

"then in exchange please make my dear Ophelia fall in love me!" he begged as tears started to run down his face.

'He changed his stance way too quickly,' Night Terror thought, "You cannot force people to fall in love with you. Even that wasn't the case I…well…I would not really know anything about relationships or…or…love so I cannot help you," he said, feeling slightly bashful at the thought of dating a beautiful woman, "anyway, I was hoping to purchase your guitar from you."

The man looked up at and then at his guitar, "Oh, I see…"

"Tapadh leibh mo shinnsirean," Night Terror muttered in relief.

The man grabbed his guitar and held it against him protectively.

"You devil had come down to Forga looking for a soul to steal and wish to challenge me to who can play the guitar better. If I win, I will receive your guitar of gold, but if I lose, you'll take my soul," he proclaimed, "well I, Charlie Daniels, shall accept your challenge."

Night Terror stared at him in confusion.

"…You have quite the imagination, Mr. Daniels. However, I said I would like to purchase your guitar. I don't have one myself. Even if I did have a golden guitar, as you said, I doubt it would be any good as an instrument."

Charlie thought for a moment before nodding in agreement.

"Fine, I guess you are right. I am actually kind of relieved because I am dreadful at playing the guitar," he sighed as he laid the guitar down on the ground.

"Then why did you…never mind, may I please purchase it," Night Terror sighed, starting to get impatient.

Charlie tapped his chin in thought, "Well, alright then. But in exchange I would like a golden necklace," he told the Phobos.

"A golden necklace?" Night Terror repeated.

"Yes, the only reason I've bought this guitar is so I can serenade my sweet Ophelia, but then I remembered I couldn't play it and so I'm back to the drawing board…"

'How does one forget that they cannot play an instrument,' Night Terror thought miserably.

"…I've tried everything to woo my darling: Flowers, chocolates, a candlelit dinner, wasps…"

"Wasps?"

"…but nothing has swayed her. Perhaps jewellery could convince her. So, in exchange for my guitar I would like a golden necklace from the Crocus, devil."

Night Terror sighed, "Fine, I will be back as soon as I can," he told him, before patting Mabel on the head to tell her to go.

As Night Terror rode off to Crocus, he could hear Charlie celebrating at the chance to woo Ophelia again.

"Yes, a golden necklace shall surely convince her to leave her family for me," he shouted in glee.

'She's married!' Night Terror mentally shouted in disbelief.

Crocus

12:30 PM

Behind the counter of jewellery shop, stood a young woman in her twenties with long brown hair tied in a ponytail and freckles over nose and cheeks. She was writing something down in a large book when she heard the doorbell rang. She looked and gasped in shock.

The young jewellery shop worker was frightened by the sight of Night Terror entering the shop. She turned her brown eyes towards the head of the tall figure who towered over her and started to shake in nervousness. Working in a jewellery shop does come at a risk as was the main target for robberies, however despite all the training, she had never experienced somebody like him before.

"Excuse me, I would like to purchase your cheapest golden necklace, please" Night Terror asked the jewellery shop worker.

The worker who was called Fay, according to the name badge, looked at him in confusion. Her fear subsiding and replaced with confusion.

"Cheapest?" she repeated.

"Yes, possibly your…now what was the word. My apologies we do not have an equivalent in Timorin. It is like…gor…gaud…galdy?" he said trying to think of the word.

"Err…do you mean gaudy?" Fay suggested helpfully.

Night Terror nodded, "That is the word. I would like to purchase your cheapest, most gaudy necklace, please. Something that a stupid man would think would be a great gift."

Fay nodded at the rather strange request but remembered something.

"I'm sorry sir, but we don't have any necklaces," she told him much to the Phobos displeasure.

"None whatsoever?"

Fay shook her head, "We are only a small shop, and we specialise in making smaller items like rings and bracelets. We have to order much more intricate items from a mining town in north Fiore. We were expecting a shipment this morning, but they haven't showed up."

Night Terror sighed.

"Where can I find this mining town?" he asked.

A Woods East of Crocus

13:00 PM

Night Terror decided to stop for lunch in a nearby woods. He thought how troubling today has been for him especially as he wanted the day off.

Still, this is for Mirajane, so he was more than happy to do it.

Taking out his thermos and pouring himself a cup of tea, he wondered how Lucy was doing on her job.

Everlue's Mansion

Natsu, Lucy and Happy searched through Duke Everlue's library. They had been hired to steal and destroy a book called 'Daybreak' by a wealthy merchant. The book was located in the library of Duke Everlue, a politician, book collector and a person with…interesting taste in women. After a failed attempt to infiltrate the mansion involving Lucy dressing up as a maid, the team snuck in and defeated Everlue's harem of maids.

Now they were searching through the rows and rows of books, trying to find the book the client had requested.

'Come on, come on. Where is it?' Lucy thought as looked at the title of each book, 'Huh? What's that?' she asked herself as she a file hidden between two larger books.

Curiosity getting the best of her, Lucy pulled out the file and opened it. Inside were two pages of paper. It looked old, possibly centuries judging by colour. She inspected the writing carefully. It was in a language she couldn't read, but she recognised the same style of writing.

It was very similar to how Night Terror wrote.

'Wait! Is this Timorin!?' she exclaimed mentally.

"Lucy, have you found it?" Natsu called out behind her.

Lucy snapped the file shut, "Err…no. Not yet," she called back.

She placed the file under her arm and continued her search for Daybreak.

She intends to ask Night Terror about it later.

Mining Town

14:00

Night Terror hummed as he observed the town. He had arrived only to find the two in a state of disarray. He saw broken doors, smashed windows and residents sadly clearing up.

He rode his shadow horse down the main street using his Dall Ri Eagal to not startle the people around him. He spotted a man far away from the others clearing some burned debris out of the way and decided to approach him.

"Excuse me," Night Terror said, making the grey haired man look towards him.

He jumped in surprise of him, but he seemed more tired than scared of him.

"C-can I help you?" the man asked looking slightly suspicious.

"What happened here? I was told that you provided necklaces for a jeweller in Crocus who had not received their shipment. Were you attacked?"

The man nodded, "Yes. Last night, a gang of mages trashed the place. They stole all the jewellery, our food and even our mining equipment."

"Mining equipment? What ever for?" Night Terror inquired.

The man shrugged, "I don't know. But they were eager to get the equipment for some reason."

Night Terror hummed irritably at the thought of another errand to do.

"I will retrieve what they stole from you. Which way did they go?"

A Forest

15:00 PM

Night Terror tracked the bandits' fear to a forest east of the mining town. He galloped through the trees until he reached a camp. It seemed empty, however, on closer inspection, he saw one bald bandit sitting next to a tent. Night Terror sensed no one else in the area and deduced that he was their look out.

"I suppose I must introduce myself," Night Terror mumbled to himself as he dismounted Mabel.

The bald bandit sighed and took out a pipe from his jacket pocket. The others had been gone for a while and, since he was the only non-magic user, he was left behind to watch the camp.

"This is so boring," the bandit mumbled tipping some tobacco in his pipe, "how hard is to steal a prissy princess," he said fumbling in his jacket pocket for a match.

The sound of a match being struck caught the bandit's attention. He looked to his left and saw a lit match in front of him held between two silver claws.

"Would you like me to light that for you?" asked a dark, cold voice.

The bandit looked up from the match to the concealed face of Night Terror and gulped.

15:10

Muffled screaming and loud cheers alerted Night Terror to the arrival of the other bandits. He stood up from the log he was sitting on and waited patiently for them.

"Can't believe that worked," said a bandit with a large tattoo over his face.

"I know," another bandit with two large front teeth remarked, "I wish I could see the guard's stupid faces again when we ambushed them."

"Shut it, you two," the third bandit with spiky black hair scolded them.

Over his shoulder was a young girl with fair skin and long green hair. She was tied up with rope and had a cloth in her mouth to keep her from screaming. The bandit winced as the girl kept on kicking him hard the stomach but did not let her go.

"Damn, the kid kicks hard," he muttered.

The fourth and final bandit, who had short, red hair, chuckled at what he said.

"Please, as if the princess could do any real damage" he mocked much to the girl's annoyance.

"Seems rather ironic to mock her strength when it took a team of four to capture her," remarked a dark voice.

The bandits had finally reached their camp where instead of seeing their comrade they saw a robed figure waiting for them. The thirst three bandits took a step back as Night Terror's magic enveloped them. However, the red haired bandit overcame the fear and took a step forward confidently.

"Looks like somebody took a wrong turn," he said, "tell you what. If you walk away now, we'll just forget you were here, and I won't burn you. How does that sound?" he threatened with a deadly smirk.

"Hey, Nick," the first bandit said pointing to Night Terror, "look at his collar his from Fairy Tail."

Nick observed his guild mark, "So he is. I never burned a fairy before. I wonder if you'll scream like the others," he stated sadistically his fingers twitching with anticipation.

Night Terror took a step forwards unaffected by the threat.

"Release her now," he simply ordered.

Nick laughed manically. He raised his right hand in preparation, sparks forming in the palm of his hand.

"One barbequed fairy, coming right up!" he shouted as a jet of fire flew out of his hand.

The green haired girl could only watch in horror as the mage became submerged in flames. He didn't even move away. Nick continued to laugh crazily while the other bandits nervously chuckled, feeling slightly relieved that the mage was dead.

However, there was something that caught their attention.

There were no screams of pain or anything. Just the roar of the fire.

"If you are quite done," a bored voice called from the flames confusing everybody, "I have other things to do today."

Nick stopped his fire to reveal Night Terror without a single scorch mark on his black robe. The bandits stared in horror, even Nick was taken back by this.

"I-I-Impossible," Nick stuttered, "that was a direct hit."

"I see that you are done with your little trick. I believe it is my turn," Night Terror remarked.

In a blink of an eye, Night Terror had lifted Nick of the ground by one clawed hand and threw him into the shadows of the trees. Nick was instantly swallowed by the darkness much the other bandits' terror.

Next was the first bandit who spoke. Night Terror swiped him with his claw and the bandit was tossed like a ragdoll into a nearby tree. Just like Nick, he also was enveloped into the darkness.

The second bandit had only time to scream for one second before black tendril shot out Night Terror's cloak and sucked him into the darkness.

Lastly was the bandit with the spiky black hair. He dropped the girl onto the ground and took off into the forest. He stood no chance against this monster.

Night Terror watched him run for a couple of seconds. Before he sent a tendril of darkness out of a nearby tree and made it grab the last bandit.

Night Terror approached the young girl slowly, trying to not frighten her. With a precise swipe of his claws, he cut through the rope that bounded her.

"Are you well, leanabh?" he gently asked as she pulled out the cloth in her mouth.

She didn't say anything. She just nodded her head.

"I am the Night Terror. Apologies for my rather spooky appearance," he introduced himself earning a small smile from the girl, "May I have the honour of knowing you name, leanabh."

The girl shuffled her feet nervously, "Hisui. My name is Hisui," she answered quietly.

"Well, Miss Hisui, let us get you back home, shall we," Night Terror calmly said.

The girl responded by hugging his leg gratefully letting out a few sobs. This caught Night Terror off guard for a moment. He hasn't had a lot of experience taking care of children, so he did the first thing that came to his mind.

From within his robe, he took off his gauntlet to reveal a pale skinned hand with a blue swirled tattoo on the back of it. He gently petted Hisui's head who seemed to calm down a bit.

"Now, now. You're safe now. There is no need for tears," Night Terror comforted, deciding to drop his cold voice for a moment, "you were very brave. I reckon you could've dealt with them if I didn't interrupt."

Hisui choked out a small laugh as she continued to hug his leg.

"Thank you, Night Terror," she whispered into his robe.

The place where Hisui was kidnapped was a couple of miles away from the camp. Night Terror called up Mabel once more and Hisui was sat in front of him, petting the horse's head. He was pleased to see that Hisui was getting better. They had eventually made it to a forest path where a royal carriage had fallen into a freshly dug ditch. By the side of the carriage was a short, plump man in his forties with balding green hair surrounded by twenty royal guards.

"I need five guards to travel north, south, east and west and find those rapscallions who stole my precious daughter!" the balding man ordered sternly to the eager guards, "now go before they do anything to he-"

"Pardon the interruption," Night Terror called out, making everybody turn to see the princess, alive and well, on the back of a black horse with the scariest figure they ever seen, "but your daughter is here."

With joy overwhelming his fear for the stranger, the king barged through the ring of guards to Hisui.

"PAPA!" Hisui shouted happily as she dismounted the horse with Night Terror's help.

"MY PRECIOUS CHILD!" shouted back as the two hugged, "I thought I have lost you," the king whispered as tears formed in his eyes.

Night Terror had dismounted his horse and watched the scene. He was glad that they were able to reunite once more.

He tried to ignore the twenty spears aimed at his throat since he didn't want to ruin the moment.

"Wait stop!" Hisui cried as she saw the royal guards surround Night Terror, "he was the one that saved me."

"Saved you," the king repeated as he let Hisui go from the hug.

Hisui nodded firmly, "Yes, his name is Night Terror, and he might look really scary, but he's actually really nice."

"It is an honour to be your presence your highness," Night Terror greeted, bowing his head, "the real criminals are over there."

He pointed to the shade of a tree where the five unconscious bandits laid.

"Guards arrest them," the king ordered pointing to the five bandits.

The guards turned away from Night Terror and dragged the bandits away. The king and Hisui approached Night Terror with warm smiles.

"I cannot thank you enough for saving my daughter," the king told him, "how may I repay?"

Night Terror shook his head, "There is no need, your highness. A reunited family is payment enough."

"Oh, but there must be a way," the king eagerly insisted.

Hisui tugged gently at Night Terror's robe making him look down at her.

"You must come back to the palace," Hisui told him with slightly rosy cheeks, "you can have dinner with us."

Night Terror frowned slightly. He didn't want to disappoint her, but he needed to get back to Fairy Tail.

"My apologies, but I have other arrangements to tend to before the day ends," he apologised seeing Hisui frown sadly, "perhaps another time. You can send an invitation to the Fairy Tail guild in Magnolia Town if you wanted," he suggested.

Hisui smiled brightly when he said that and nodded eagerly.

"I must take my leave now," Night Terror bowing once more to the royal family.

"Farewell, Night Terror," the king said as the Phobos recalled Mabel again, "thank you again for all your help."

"It was my pleasure," Night Terror said before riding away back to the bandits' camp and then back to the mining town.

Hisui watched him leave with awestruck look as the king rubbed his chin thoughtfully.

"A Phobos," he hummed, "you don't see them very often anymore."

Hisui smiled brightly and thought about the man who saved her.

"Night Terror," she whispered.

Fairy Tail Guild

Lucy had just returned to the guild after completing the job. She looked around for the familiar robed figure of Night Terror but couldn't find him. She walked over to the bar where Lisanna was cleaning some glasses.

"Hey Lisanna, do you know where Night Terror is?" she asked.

Lisanna shook her head, "Sorry, he took off this morning and hasn't been back since. Mira has not been too pleased about it," she told her, looking towards Mirajane who was staring longingly at Night Terror's table from behind the bar.

"Damn," Lucy muttered, "I found something in Timorin and wanted to show him," she explained.

Lisanna hummed for a moment before getting an idea.

"Why don't you show Levy McGarden," she suggested nodding to a woman sat at a table.

She had blue, wild hair, a slim build and wore an orange dress. She was sat between a tall, orange haired man who wore a tall brown and white hat and a long brown coat and another tall man with black hair and wore a white shirt and green trousers.

"She's good with languages. Perhaps she could help," Lisanna continued.

Lucy frowned with interest as she looked towards Levy. She didn't know if she had the right to show others Phobos literature. After much internal debate, she decided to at least ask.

Thanking Lisanna, Lucy walked up to the group.

18:00

Mirajane sighed as she began clearing the guild hall before closing up for the day. It hadn't been a great day for the usually cheery bar maid. First her guitar broke and then Night Terror left without even saying goodbye. She wouldn't have mind just her guitar breaking, but the fact she couldn't talk to Night for a whole day was devastating.

She swept up the last piece of dust as Lisanna walked up to her.

"Ready to go, Mira?" Lisanna asked.

Mirajane nodded and the two sisters headed to the door. That's when they both heard the sound of familiar hooves on cobblestones. They looked towards Magnolia to see Night Terror riding to them at breakneck speeds and skid to a halt in front of them.

"I am so glad I caught you, Miss Mirajane," Night Terror said confusing the silver haired beauty.

"Night, where have you been all d-" Mirajane paused as, from out of his robe, Night Terror pulled at an acoustic guitar and gently handed it to her.

"Lisanna informed me that your guitar had broke this morning," Night Terror explained as Mirajane inspected it, "since you are so kind to me, I thought I would repay. I do not know if the instrument if of high quality or… Is everything well, Miss Mirajane," Night Terror asked in concern as tears leaked from her eyes, "I did not get the wrong type or-"

"Nope," Mirajane interrupted him, showing a bright smile, "this is perfect. Thank you, Night."

Night Terror smiled from under his hood, "I am very glad you are happy, Miss Mirajane."

"You didn't have trouble getting it, did you?" Lisanna asked as her sister hugged the guitar to her chest.

Night Terror thought for a moment. He thought about the musical instrument shop owner, Charlie Daniels, the jewellery shop, the mining town, the bandits and finally saving the princess. After that returning what was stolen from the mining town, transporting the necklaces to the jewellery shop, giving the necklace to Charlie Daniels and receiving the guitar. He then thought how happy Mirajane looks right now and decided that it was all worth it.

"No. Not a problem at all," Night Terror answered after some evaluation, "I'll see you tomorrow, farewell," he said, turning Mabel away from the guild and headed home.

Lisanna waved goodbye before turning to her sister. She giggled at her lovestruck expression while hugging the guitar closely.

"Today wasn't so bad, was it Mira?" Lisanna asked.

"No," Mirajane answered with a sigh.

"Are you going to return the guitar you already bought today?" Lisanna further questioned.

"Yes," Mirajane answered with another sigh.

Sorry it took so long to write this chapter. I've been ill when writing this so if the are any mistakes in the writing, then I apologise and I will sort them out.

The purpose of this chapter was to see the daily life of Night Terror. The previous chapters have been about answering questions about the Phobos, so I wanted our title character to have his own little story as well as demonstrate how he fights.

I hope you enjoyed it and I'll see you next time.

Thanks :)
