First of all, I would like to thank you all so much for voting whether Juvia should be in the harem or not. The majority of you had voted that she should be in the harem. 55 people voted (either through the poll systems or by reviews or PM) and 45 were for and 10 against. So sorry for those who had voted against. However, I was looking over the reviews and hendo2031 had suggested an interesting idea which it actually fits well in my plan. They suggested that Juvia wouldn't be instantly in love with NT, like with Grey, but she would observe and learn a bit more about him until she knows definitely that he's the person that she should love. Then she will be obsessed with him. This is a great idea, so thank you so much, hendo2031.

Tenma Kirin - Hope you enjoy the next chapter

Djinn - Thank you so much, I'm glad you enjoyed it.

wellingtonlucas282 - Thanks so much as always.

Re Lovely Lover - Interesting question. I think that Night Terror wasn't expecting him to know the spell at all and the shock made him lose focus. Also he possibly didn't want to hurt Gajeel and so wasn't not holding his throat too hard. As for your second question, I have no definite answer. I suppose they don't really have a police force in Fiore, but there is a royal guards that keep the peace. Hope that helps.

NinjaFang1331 - Thanks so much, enjoy the next chapter.

ikusatsunagi - Thank you so much, I'm glad that you enjoyed it. I am also glad you like the Levy and Mira interactions.

Neo Infinity - That's a really interesting way of looking at it. That really didn't occur to me when I was writing it. It makes sense knowing Lucy's character and everything. I am looking forward to when I write about Wendy. I think they would start of a bit shaky at first (with Wendy being scared of him and NT not knowing how to interact with children), but then it will gradually get better.

Shadow55 - Thanks so much.

Sammy9992 - I get what you mean and I understand, but you kind of have to bear with me. Things will be explained in the next few chapters, I promise. Thank you for reading.

Lelouch of Zero - Thank you so much, I'm glad that you enjoyed the last chapter. I was bit worried about starting the Phantom Lord Arc as they were a lot of to cover. As for the trails and everything else...I can't give much away, because I don't want to spoil it. However, I can say that whatever is going to happen is going to start at the next chapter. Thanks for reading.

danielsnow - Thank you for telling me how you feel about the harem and the development of this story. I thought I would leave up to democracy since I couldn't really decide so sorry about the result. Lisanna, however, is definitely not in the harem and is better suited for Natsu. I actually had no plans to put her in the harem in the first place, tbh. Affection will be a gradual thing for sure and what happened to his childhood friend will be explained soon enough. I'm really trying my best to not give a lot away.

Anyway thank you so much. I did have an idea set in the Marvel Universe, but it's a working progress. Thanks again.

Skull Flame - Thanks so much. I hope I be able to portray Juvia that satisfies everybody.

MalachchaiKane - I understand what you mean and I'm sorry that last chapters have been disappointing. However, it's all part of plan and everything will be explained in the next few chapters. I can't give too much away or else I'll spoil everything. Thank you for reading anyway.

I also know about the tattoos and their importance in cultures around the world, but I wanted to give it a more magical purpose. Since Earthland is magical, some things are going to be different.

Guest - Thanks so much. I'm sorry to say that Deimos is the term the Phobos use for when a member of their clan loses control of their power. Night Terror's real name is still unknown.

END D BLACK - Olá, vi em seu perfil que você escreve em português, então espero que não se importe se eu responder também usando o google tradutor. Eu te entendi muito bem e muito obrigado, estou tão feliz que você está gostando.

MDM11 - That's an interesting idea, I'll make sure to do the best that I can. Thanks so much for reading.

MBS41 - Sorry I did upload a chapter 13 so I can set up for an announcement but I deleted it so I can replace it with this one.

Blaze1992 - Thank you so much. Creating the Clan, its history and its magic was difficult and this story has to be the hardest for me to write, but I'm so glad you are enjoying it. The reason why he's limited in what he can do is because he's not a fully qualified Night Terror yet. His home was destroyed before he could go through the initiation. However, he will be able to once he goes through with the trial later. I suppose theoretically he can make a hammer or other objects (once he goes through the trials) but he has to be careful to not accidently hurt people. He doesn't usually take S class requests so he mainly managers in dealing with bandits and other people like that. Thanks for reading.

Mystery889 - I suppose that's another way of looking at it.

Thank you all for reviewing.

Chapter 13: Unleashed

A beam of bright light shot out from the cannon at the guild, ready to obliterate it. Night Terror waited for the right moment before he formed a pillar of shadows that met the beam before it could reach them. The beam impacted the pillar and Night Terror was pushed back a foot. He gritted his teeth as he concentrated in protecting the guild, trying to fight back against the cannon fire.

He felt tiredness take over, he had yet to completely recover from the paralysis that he was under a few hours ago. Although, after travelling to Galuna Island, fighting Lyon and his cult, taking down Deloria, discovering who the Phobos Slayer was, and fighting Gajeel, he hadn't got much physical or mental rest in the last few days.

But he didn't give. He couldn't give up.

He kept fighting against the Jupiter cannon as hard as he can, trying to push back the beam with all his strength.

It was his fault that he lost his old clan and if he's defeated again it would be his fault for losing his new clan.

The others watched in concern and amazement as Night Terror was able to fight off the Jupiter Cannon. They thought someone like Laxus or Mystogan could find a way, but not their quietest and scariest member. However, Erza saw that Night Terror was struggling and worried for his safety. She couldn't take his place or else he would lose his focus, but she had to try something. She was about to requip into a new armour when Lucy stopped her.

"Erza don't," Lucy told her, making the red haired mage look back in anger and confusion.

"What are you talking about? He needs help," Erza argued back.

However, Lucy stood her ground, her face filled with determination, "Trust him. He can do this."

Erza was about to shout at her when the guild members suddenly gasped. They turned around to see Night Terror being pushed back by the beam. He dug his feet into the ground and caught himself again, but it was clear that he wasn't going to last very long.

Night Terror was in pain. His muscles felt like they were being torn apart and his head felt as if broken glass were being shoved into it. His mind began to subtly drift between consciousness and he began to think of times when he felt comfortable. Sitting at his table in the guild, riding upon Mabel through the countryside, the tree he would sit under when he was young back on the island. The Grand Master would often find him there and sit and tell him stories or helped him with his homework.

They were nice times.

-Flashback Eleven Years Ago-

The Island of Fear

Before the tragedy, the Island of Fear was a beautiful place to live as long as you stay in the Anam or the centre of the island. The Bodhaig is the outer ring area of the island where the monsters and dangers live among the Forest of the Dead. But once you get past it and reach the Anam, you will be greeted with miles and miles of rolling hills, pleasant grassland, farms and orchards which make up the home of the Phobos. It was peaceful, bright, and you feel calm as soon as you step into the place. It is truly a place of tranquillity.

Not far from the Phobos' main town was an ancient oak tree which shielded the sun from a young Night Terror. The boy, dressed in pair of brown trousers, a white shirt and a green doyle vest (typical male Phobos clothes), was currently looking over a book, his face scrunched up in concentration as he tried to understand what he was reading. However, he soon gave up with a sigh of frustration and leaned back on the tree.

"This is stupid," he muttered to himself.

"Don't let your teachers hear you say that," an voice suddenly said, making him jump in surprise and turn around to see the smiling face of the Grand Master and his unofficial grandfather, "they'll get you to organise the library as punishment," he said with an amused chuckle.

"But it is stupid," he complained, "the daonna have a completely different theory where magic comes from then us. Why can't they see that we're right."

"Whose to say that we're right?" the Grand Master asked as he sat beside him.

The boy looked confused, "Aren't we?"

"Magic is too mysterious and complex to be comprehended by us mere mortals," he told him. He spotted an ant on the ground and placed his wrinkled finger in its path. The ant climbed onto the finger and the Grand Master lifted it off the ground and presented it to the boy, "take the humble, but hard working ant. It walks through his burrow to go outside when he is shocked to see a large human finger trying to dig though the exit. He rushes to another exit and sees a large foot kicking the entrance. Finally, he rushes to another exit and sees a large eye looking into his burrow. Now tell me, leanabh, would the ant think that all the intruders to his nest were one human or would he think that they were three separate beings?"

The boy thought for a moment, "Well, if he doesn't see the actual body of the human then I guess there's no telling what the ant thinks."

"Precisely, the world is large and filled with many, many people with ideas of where magic comes from. But just because the daonna see a finger and the Phobos see an eye, doesn't mean they are wrong. However, I doubt that we will ever see the true nature of magic even if we do work together. What is important is that we must learn to respect everyone's views and be as kind as possible to every living creature," he said as gently placed the ant down on the ground which scurried away back to its nest.

"I see," the boy muttered.

"Have I ever told you about the origins of the Island of Fear?" the Grand Master asked.

The boy frowned, "Yes, many times," he replied in deadpan tone.

"What was that? I haven't," the elderly man said, raising a hand to his ear as a cheeky smile crossed his face.

"Stop pretending you didn't hear me, you're not deaf-"

"Well, if you insist," the Grand Master shrugged, giving a fake sigh and annoying the boy more.

"Stop tha-"

"Long ago," the Grand Master started, making the boy groan in anger, "there was a beautiful land that we know today as the Anam. It was a potent and powerful source of magic, but it was gentle and serene and treated everything with kindness. Its grass was green and gentle, its water was pure and unsullied by disease, its trees were grand and bore the tastiest fruit. Every living creature was welcome to flourish and live peacefully along with nature. However, there were those who care more for themselves then of others and greed spread like an infection. They trampled the grass, polluted the water, chopped down the trees and attack those who resisted them. The Anam seeing no choice, created another, new type of magic to protect itself from the greed and evils from the world. That magic would be known to us a Fear Magic. The Fear Magic created a border around the Anam in the form of a thick, foreboding forest that we called the Bodhaig and scared away everything that wished harmed to the beautiful land. And with that, a new ecosystem was created. The Anam provides for the Bodhaig, while the Bodhaig protects the Anam. Everything seemed to be at peace once again, until the Fear magic became too much to bear for the world. The very ground seemed to fear it and soon the land broke and the continents divided and moved away from the Bodhaig and its Fear magic until it formed an island where only the water dares to touch its shores. The Fear Magic, sensing the new environment, changed the seas around it and became part of the Island of Fear. The island thrived without any human interference for centuries and recovered slowly but surely into the wonderful oasis it is today. That is until the Five Brothers came to its shores and... well you know the rest," he finished lamely.

The boy sighed, "You could have at least ended it properly."

The Grand Master chuckled, "I'm old, I don't need to do anything if I don't want to," he argued.

"There's something I don't understand about that story," the boy said, earning an interested hum from elderly man, "why was the land scared of the Fear magic? It's not a living thing."

"That's rather simple," the Grand Master said, "Fear Magic has no effect on the physical being at all."

The boy blinked in surprise, "What does it effect then?"

-Flashback End-

Night Terror gasped in realisation. He knew what he had to do and released the shadow pillar that was preventing the devastating beam from destroying the guild.

The Fairy Tail members gasped in shock and fright as the roar of the beam came shooting towards Night Terror while he stood there waiting. Natsu and Grey shouted for him to get out of the way, Erza was about to rush in and save him, Mirajane screamed in horror. Everyone knew that it would be too late.

But Lucy stood her ground. She trusted Night Terror to know what to do.

As the beam of light sped towards the Phobos, threatening to annihilate him and those around him, Night Terror took a deep breath, held out his hand before him and released as much Fear magic as possible.

A few feet away from him, the blast of the Jupiter cannon that can easily submerge Night Terror and the land around him, stopped.

The members of Fairy Tail, who braced themselves for the blast, looked up to see beam of light unmoving as if somebody had paused time. Natsu and Grey stopped shouting and stared in wonder, Erza's run halted, and Mirajane's mouth widened in disbelief. The beam of light still crackled and sparked, but from where Lucy was standing, Night Terror was just stopping it from getting any closer.

'How did he do th-'

That's when she remembered what he said to her when they were out on their job together.

"When you are on a boat; do you use the oar to push the boat forwards, or do you use the oar to pull the ocean backwards?"

Suddenly it all made sense.

'That's what he meant,' Lucy thought in shock, 'Fear Magic is the oar and any other magic is the ocean. I've been thinking that Fear magic works the same as any other magic as a tool, but what if it's something else. Night Terror was able to catch Tauros' axe and so automatically thought that Fear magic made the user stronger, but that's not the case. He doesn't need to be strong or be able to resist attacks. The Fear magic pushes away any sort of magic that is seen as a threat like an oar pulling the ocean backwards. That must mean that Fear magic doesn't effect the physical body, but magic itself. Which means,' she gasped, 'People are not scared of Fear magic, the magic in all of us is scared of it. That's why its so effective. Every animal, vegetable, and mineral is infused in some sort of magic so much so that it would defy physics just to keep away from it. That's how he is stopping the Jupiter canon, he's scaring the magic infused in it.'

(A.N: I'm not quite sure if that makes sense or not. Even when I wrote this I thought it was a little stupid. Please ask me if you want more information.)

Her theory was proven as Night Terror suddenly pushed his hand straight out, the Fear magic bending the beam of light backwards towards the Phantom Lord Guild. Seeing no more resistance the beam shot back to the walking guild and collided with the two towers on the right side of the guild, completely obliterating them. The Jupiter Canon stopped firing and everyone fell silent. Even the members of Phantom Lord seemed stunned by what happened.

The silence was broken as the sound of speakers came to life and the voice of Jose Porla called out.

"How did you do that!?" he demanded.

Night Terror slowly put his claw down, "Oh Mr Jose Porla," he called back, "even the most powerful things must succumb to fear. Your canon is no exception."

"Impossible!" Jose shouted back.

"And yet," Night Terror countered, nodding towards the destroyed towers, "take this is your final warning, Mr Jose. Leave now."

"A warning," Jose growled, "you stand before my invincible guild hall and my Jupiter canon and you give me a warning."

"Not entirely invincible," the Phobos replied nonchalantly.

The Fairy Tail guild could tell that Jose was become angrier by the second which both concerned them and give them some satisfaction.

"Hand over Lucy Heartfilia right now!" Jose demanded as he shouted into his microphone.

Night Terror could help but let loose a little chuckle as the rest of the Fairy Tail guild cried out in protest.

"You're out of your mind!"

"No way we'll do that!"

"That's right!"

"Lucy is our comrade!"

Lucy looked around in shock, tears starting to fall from her eyes. She was overwhelmed by this support and didn't know that they would come to her aid. Never in her whole life she did feel so accepted.

"We'd rather die then give up our comrade!" Erza roared, earning cheers from the Fairy Tail members.

Natsu shook his fist at the guild, flames igniting in his mouth, "Our answer won't change no matter what!" he bellowed, "we'll take you down!"

Night Terror glanced at Lucy from over his shoulder and smiled tiredly as cried in joy, 'Mr Jose, you really shouldn't underestimate us,' he thought to himself.

The walking guild fell eerily silent as if Jose Porla were considering their words. Their hope was destroyed once Jose spoke again.

"Then we'll have to fire an even bigger and stronger Jupiter! Now struggle in this 15 minute terror until it's reloaded! Let's see you if you can repel this one Phobos!"

Night Terror frowned as the speakers switched off and everyone began to panic again. He had used all what is left of his energy on the last attack. He doubt he would be able to fend another one. But he must try.

His clan is at stake.

"Night Terror," Erza called out as she approached, "Are you okay?"

"Perfectly fine," he reassured her, "Mr Jose informed us it would take 15 minutes for the next attack. That is plenty of time to-"

The Phobos tried to walk towards her, but he stumbled over his feet in exhaustion. Erza caught him before he could hit the ground, catching everyones' attention.

"Night Terror," Erza cried in worry.

"I-I am fine, Miss Erza," he insisted as he tried to stand up again but fell over again, causing him to lean more on Erza's shoulder.

Erza gave him a stern look, "No you're not and I'm not letting you do anything else," she ordered, carrying the Phobos back over to the guild.

Mirajane and Lucy instantly ran up to them in concern. Mirajane latched onto Night Terror's left arm and helped support him as well.

"Night, what's wrong?" Lucy asked in worry.

"He's exhausted," Erza answered, "he needs rest."

"I'll prepare a bed for him," Mirajane informed before some guild members gasped in shock.

Erza, Lucy and Mirajane turned to see what was going on and saw in the distance dozens of Phantom Lord soldiers, dressed in robes and a black hooded cloaks that covered their faces, climb out of the walking guild and onto the water below, preparing for battle. The Fairy Tail members began to chatter to themselves in worry as Jose began to speak to them once more.

"Feel the pain Fairy Tail! You have two choices! Get killed by my soldiers or die by Jupiter!" he announced horrifying everyone in the guild.

"Impossible," one member cried, "he's going to kill his own soldiers if he fires Jupiter."

"They're not real," Cana interrupted them as she frowned at the approaching soldiers, "It's Jose's magic 'Shade'... They're just ghosts soldiers that he created."

"So that means we don't have to hold back," Ur said as she got into a battle stance.

"But we still need to deal with Jupiter," Cana replied.

Natsu smashed his fist into his left palm in determination, "Then I'll have to smash it to pieces," he proclaimed.

"Natsu," Erza warned.

"Allow him," Night Terror interrupted, looking over his shoulder at the Fire Dragon Slayer, "Mr Natsu destroy that thing before it fires again and try not to do anything stupid."

Natsu grinned eagerly, "You can count on- Hey what do you mean by that last part! I've never done anything stupid in my life!"

Grey snorted, "You do something stupid everyday," he jabbed, earning a heated look from Natsu.

"What did you sa-"

"GO!" Night Terror roared at him, making Natsu yelp in fear and stop him before he can start another argument.

Natsu called out to Happy and the blue cat flew him towards the Phantom Lord guild. Lucy took Erza's place in supporting Night Terror as she prepared for battle against Jose's soldiers. Lucy and Mirajane carried a tired Night Terror into the guild and laid him on a bed in the basement. They made sure to keep him in the darkest part as it helped him recover quicker.

"I...must," Night Terror tried to complain, but Mirajane shook her head at him,

"No, you can't. Just get some sleep," she told him as Lucy nodded in agreement.

"We'll deal with everything," Lucy reassured him.

But Night Terror could barely hear her as his exhaustion settled in and he shut his eyes and fell asleep.

It isn't often that Night Terror dreams. In fact he doesn't recall the last time he had a dream...or perhaps he was too worried to recall. Everything is frightened of something, even the Phobos.

In his dreams, Night Terror could not see a thing. It wasn't as if it was dark or he was blindfolded, he just couldn't see but an endless abyss. It was the same feeling you get when you close your eyes for a minute and stare at the inside of you eyelids. That never ending void stretched out in front of you is what he was seeing. He couldn't smell, or touch or taste.

But he could hear.

He heard the screams of pain form his own people as their island burned.

Heard the shouts of the bloodthirsty raiders burning the town of Elend.

Heard the cries from his lost friend Muireall telling him that they needed to leave.

And heard the vengeful yells of the man who killed the Phobos.

I CURSE THE PHOBOS! I'LL KILL YOU! I'LL KILL YOU ALL!

They all played together on repeat like a chaotic symphony and Night Terror couldn't do anything but suffer as the noise got louder and louder and louder until it was nothing more then a painful screech.

And then it stopped.

And he was alone in this dream once again. Alone in the abyss. Shrinking and getting smaller into nothingness.

And it was all his fault.

Night Terror woke up and gasped for air. He looked around his surroundings and recognised that he was back in the guild's basement and relaxed slightly. He was out of that nightmare.

'How long have I been asleep?' he wondered to himself before he noticed the shouting of his clansmen above.

He climbed the stairs and exited the guild swiftly and was saw the object of the panic. Looming over the guild and the town of Magnolia was a enormous, mechanical robot. It stood on two metal legs and had a squat body. Two large arms then ended in pincers for hands and a head of helmeted soldier. It seemed to be made out of a mixture of metal and stone masonry with some parts looking like they were cut out of a building. It lifted his arms before him and with its fingers started drawing a magical seal that Night Terror instantly recognised.

"Abyss Breaker," he muttered to himself, wincing as he felt a headache forming, "He cannot be serious. He will wipe out half of Magnolia."

"Night!" Cana cried as she saw him leave the guild, "what are you doing? You need more rest."

"I am fine," he lied, "what has occurred?"

Cana frowned in concern but didn't question him, "Natsu has managed to take out Jupiter, but then the guild turned into...that," she informed, pointing at the monstrosity, "Grey and Elfman has already gone over there to help Natsu. Erza, Mira and the others are still fighting the soldiers and Loki and I are setting up a barrier to stop the Abyss Breaker."

"And Miss Lucy?"

Cana hesitated slightly, "Mira sent her away."

"What!?" Night Terror cried, "Why would you do that?"

"For her own safety. She needed to get away from the front lines," Cana told him, causing Night Terror to wince again as his headache got stronger.

"She would be safer if she was with us. Now Phantom Lord has a chance to capture her," he argued, earning a sigh from the card mage.

"I'm sorry, Night. But she would be at risk staying here."

Night Terror hummed in anger and started walking towards the Phantom Lord guild, much to Cana's shock.

"Where are you going?"

"I am going to have a word with Mr Jose," Night Terror told her, growling darkly as he said 'a word'.

"But Nigh-"

But she was too late, the Phobos sank into the shadows and disappeared, making her groan in worry. She turned away from where he vanished and concentrated on making a barrier.

On The Robot

Night Terror climbed out of the shadows and stepped onto the outside area of the behemoth. He clutched the sides of his head as his headache got worse, gritting his teeth in agony. Taking a deep breath and ignoring the pain, he dropped his arms to sides and walked calmly towards where he thought Jose was hiding.

However, he noticed a few raindrops falling around him making him stop. The rain got heavier and heavier until it was a complete downpour despite the sunny day. Night Terror had seen this earlier that day and felt the culprit's presence before him. He looked up and saw Juvia underneath her pink umbrella staring at him with little emotion on her pale face.

"Miss Juvia, a pleasure to meet you again," Night Terror greeted as he bowed his head a little.

"Juvia cannot say the same thing about Mr Shadow," Juvia greeted back plainly.

The Phobos hummed in understanding, "I bare you no ill will. Allow me to pass so I can meet with Mr Jose."

"Juvia can't let you do that. Juvia has a duty to carry out."

"A duty to murder hundreds," Night Terror retorted, making Juvia frown angrily.

"You do not get to judge Juvia. Give us Lucy Heartfilia and we will stop the Abyss Breaker," she demanded.

"Unlike Phantom Lord, Miss Juvia, Fairy Tail does not take innocent people hostage nor do we surrender our comrades so I will ask you one more time...let...me...past."

Juvia's frown deepened, "Juvia will not," she declared as she raised her hand towards him, "Water Lock," she commanded as a ball of water surrounded Night Terror, trying to subdue him by drowning.

She raised a curious eyebrow as she saw that he wasn't struggling at all, but staying still. It was as if he was meditating, however Juvia knew that it won't long. Even Phobos needed to breath. She watched him gently raised his claw before him and touched the side of the Water Lock.

Suddenly, to her shock, the spell shattered apart and released Night Terror from his water prison. She took a step back, her eyes widening in fear.

"How did you do that?" she demanded, "It's impossible for anyone to escape from Juvia's Water Lock."

"Fear magic defeats all, Miss Juvia," Night Terror told her as he held his claw to the side, poised to strike, "I did warn you to move out of my way," he calmly said before, in a blink of an eye, he rushed towards Juvia and swiped her with his claw.

However, to his confusion, his claw went right through her body. He hummed in interest as her body was made up of water and start to reform again.

"Juvia's body is formed of the rain itself," she told him, "you can not harm Juvia."

"Interesting," Night Terror murmured.

The water mage's right arm turned into water and she cracked it like a whip at Night Terror, "Water Slicer!" she declared.

Night Terror easily avoided the attack and managed to get behind her, ready to attack again, 'She must have a weak spot,' he thought to himself as he rushed towards her, "I just need to find it.'

He aimed a strike at her back, hoping that it would finally take her down. However, he wasn't counting on Juvia turning around so fast to aim another attack at him and held out his right claw to catch her arm.

"Water Slicer!"

"Le cumhachd nam Phobos!"

They were so caught up on each other attacks that they didn't realise that...

Squeeze

Night Terror and Juvia stopped in surprise. Night Terror felt something soft in the palm of his claw and Juvia blushed and released a small moan in pleasure. They looked down and saw that Night Terror...had accidently grabbed on to Juvia's left breast.

...

...

...

Night Terror yelped and pulled away as Juvia covered herself in embarrassment.

"I am so sorry Miss Juvia! I did not mean to do that! I was aiming at your back, I swear, and then you turned around and I...and I...and I did something very inappropriate," he rapidly told her, dropping his dark voice out of panic, "I respect women and I swear I would make ìomhaigh aithreachais as soon as I can," he promised as he bowed frantically.

(A.N: ìomhaigh aithreachais or Repentance Statue is a from of self-punishment that Phobos perform like how medieval monks whip themselves, but less severe. Whenever a Phobos feels that they are giving into sin, they make themselves a clay statue about the size of their head and once they are done they smash it. It symbolises them taking out of the sin through the statue's creation and destroying it. They become less stressed by focusing on an activity and it's known to be quite therapeutic.)

While Night Terror was desperately apologising, Juvia was lost in her thoughts.

'He touched Juvia. Nobody has touched Juvia before. Mr Shadow is confusing me more and more,' she thought to herself.

Night Terror had finally stopped babbling and nervously stood near Juvia, "A-are you mad at me?" he timidly asked, afraid that he would be accused of sexual assault.

Juvia snapped out of her thoughts and looked up at him with a bemused expression, "W-what..." she trailed off, not knowing what else to say.

The Phobos cleared his throat, "Miss Juvia, I cannot continue this fight as my clan is at stake. I must encourage you to reconsider your loyalty to Phantom Lord, surely you cannot allow people to die."

Juvia frowned, "Juvia doesn't want people to die. Master Jose promise to leave as soon as you hand over Lucy."

"And what then?" Night Terror questioned, "Do you really want to associate with a man who is willing to kill?"

"N-no but-" she answered, her face becoming sorrowful.

"If Mr Jose gets away with this crime what is stopping him from doing it again."

"Juvia doesn't know-"

"And yet you decide to still work for him. Tell me, what is stopping you from leaving Phantom Lord!?"

"IT'S ALL JUVIA'S GOT!" she shouted at him as tears streamed from her eyes, "IF JUVIA LEAVES THEN JUVIA HAS NOTHING! JUVIA MAY NOT AGREE WITH WHAT THE MASTER IS DOING, BUT JUVIA DOESN'T WANT TO BE ALONE! Juvia is tired of being alone," she whispered the last sentence.

Night Terror looked down at the crying woman, the rain still pouring around them seeming to get harder. His headache had been so bad that he didn't sense her fear. She suffered from a fear of loneliness and being forgotten. It was so strong that Night Terror could tell that she has suffered from it from childhood. All her life, people had avoided her because she brought the rain despite it not being her fault.

'A lonely life caused by her magic. It would seem that Miss Juvia and I have much more in common then I initially thought,' Night Terror said in his mind, 'I cannot fight her.'

Juvia's eyes widened in disbelief as Night Terror wordlessly turned around and headed back to the main building. She wiped the tears away and glared at the back of the Phobos' head.

"Where are you going?" she demanded, "we are still fighting."

Night Terror didn't stop walking when he answered, "I do not want to fight you, Miss Juvia."

Juvia snarled angrily and used her water form to get in front of him, "Juvia doesn't care whether you want to or not. Juvia is not letting you pass," she told him.

However, he didn't stop despite her threats and she was getting worried. Her arm turned into water again and she sent another Water Slicer at him. This time Night Terror didn't dodge or use his Fear magic to send it away. He let her hit him on the chest, causing him to grunt in pain and recoil slightly. Juvia thought she had managed to anger him, but to her confusion he just kept on walking.

"Fight back!" she demanded, hitting him with another attack, "Juvia is telling you to fight back!" she hit him with another attack, "Are you mocking Juvia!?"

Night Terror stopped at her question and looked up at her, "I cannot fight you, Miss Juvia. I know how it feels to be lonely and I know how it feels when people avoid you just because of your magic. You feel lost and hopeless because you know that nobody will ever find you or even try," he said, making the water mage's anger slowly ebb away, "but now that I know that you are just as lost as I am...I do not think I can stand fighting you. I am sorry, Miss Juvia."

And with that he continued to walk. Juvia was to stunned by his words to stop him from passing and making his way into the robot through a door. She shook of her shock and her fury returned.

"How could he say that to Juvia," she angrily said as she turned to go after him, "no one knows the pain that-"

BOOM!

She gasped and looked up when a loud explosion erupted from the building from above. Piles of brick and debris fell towards her threatening to crush her to a pulp. She didn't have time to move away as she held out her arms in front of her to fruitless shield something it away.

"And this is how it ends," Juvia whispered to herself, "all alone."

She waited for the debris to crush her.

And waited.

And waited.

But nothing came.

She opened her eyes slightly and gasped in shock as she the Night Terror stood over her, using his shadows to protect her from the rocks that could have killed her. He threw the rocks a safe distance away into the lake and looked down at her wide eye expression.

"Are you alright, Miss Juvia?" he asked in concern.

"Y-you came back," she stammered, starting to get over what happened.

Night Terror nodded, "Of course I did. Forgive me for what happened a few moments ago, my headache is getting worse. However, once I realised my mistake and saw you were in trouble I had to help."

"But you were about to-"

"Mr Jose can wait. Right now, you are more important, Miss Juvia."

Her eyebrows shot up in astonishment and her mouth gasped slightly, "Juvia is?"

"Yes, I will never abandoned you again. I promise. You are lonely and I am lonely. Why can we not be lonely together and live happily?" he asked rhetorically.

And after that, Juvia's cold heart warmed up and a weight seemed to have lifted of her shoulders. Emotions and feelings that she has been hiding away for all these years, flooded back to her and she felt cared for. She had no idea what these new feelings were, but she wasn't afraid of them, in fact she wanted to know more about them and learn about this Night Terror who is so willing to give her a second chance.

Night Terror looked up when he noticed the rain start to get lighter. The dark clouds above them rolled back and the bright sun peeked through them and bathed the area in golden light.

"Oh dear, the rain has stopped what a pity. I quite enjoy it," Night Terror said out loud, making Juvia's pale face blush, "but if it means that your happy then I do not mind in the slightest," he said as he looked down at her.

She did not know if she had imagined it or if it was a trick of a trick of the light. But for a spilt second she thought she saw a glimmer of emerald green eyes within the Night Terror's hidden face. Whether it was, her heart skipped a beat at the sight of them.

"Miss Juvia," the Phobos said, bring her attention back to him, "will you allow me to pass? Lives are on the line."

The water mage thought of his request and glanced at her surroundings. She saw the devastation that Phantom Lord has caused all for the sake of money. She knew that this was her guild, but this was wrong and she didn't want any part of it anymore. Besides, Night Terror says he won't abandon her...perhaps she could trust him.

Juvia nodded with determination, "Okay," she agreed.

Somewhere In the Robot

Elfman roared in his full beast form as he stood over the unconscious body of Sol. His shirt was ripped off to reveal a muscular gorilla like body, his hands were clawed and two twisted horns were on his head.

The fight with the Earth mage had forced him to take his full form, something he hadn't managed to do since the incident with Lisanna a few years ago. He began to lose control of his Takeover magic smashing up everything thing in sight, including the wall that almost crushed Juvia.

Internally he was trying to stop himself, but he couldn't. His magic was just too strong. It was just like the last time he lost control.

-Flashback Two Years Ago -

The Strauss siblings were in the middle of a quest to get rid of a cult that has terrorised a local village. However, Elfman had used his Takeover magic and accidentally lost control, injuring Mirajane in the process.

Lisanna watched in horror as her brother go on a rampage, destroying trees and anything that was in path. She took a deep breath and calmly approached Elfman with a determined look.

"Lisanna stop," Mirajane whispered, trying to patch up her injured leg.

"Don't worry, I've got this," Lisanna told her as she got closer and ignoring Mirajane's protests.

Once she got close enough to Elfman, she called out to him, "Elfman."

The beast who was her brother snapped his head towards her growled menacingly.

"It's alright. It's just me Lisanna," she persuaded as she cautiously edged her way towards him, "you have to come down, Elfman. You can't lose control of yours-"

Before she could finish, Elfman raised his giant claw above his head poised to strike her. Lisanna gasped in shock as he swung at her.

"Lisanna!" Mirajane screamed, hopelessly watching as Elfman was about to their sister.

Before the claw could collide another silver claw caught it, stopping it its tracks. Elfman growled in confusion before whimpering in fear as he saw Night Terror pulling his fist away from Lisanna.

"Mr Elfman, you must calm yourself," Night Terror gravely told him, releasing enough fear to make Elfman back away.

Night Terror seemed to be the thing to snap Elfman out of his beast form and he soon shrank back to his regular body. Night Terror laid him down into the recovery position and turned his head to Lisanna.

"Are you well?" he asked in concern, earning a nod in reply.

"Where did you come from?" Mirajane asked as she limped over to them.

"I was coming back from a quest when I sensed your presence," Night Terror answered as he started to tend to Mirajane's leg, causing her to blush, "I sensed danger and rushed over here to aid. It was lucky I got here in time."

"Lisanna," Elfman gasped, having recovered from his Takeover magic, "I'm so sor-"

Lisanna kneeled down and hugged her brother comfortingly, "It's alright. Nothing happened. I'm still here."

"But I could have-"

"Mr Elfman," Night Terror interrupted, looking up from Mirajane's leg, "It is not healthy to dwell on things that could have happened. It was an accident and nobody got hurt. Some would say that it was a miracle. Use this as a lesson and work on it for the future. You are the master of your magic not the other way around. Do you understand?"

Elfman listened to every single word he said and nodded in understanding.

-Flashback End-

Since then Elfman was not brave enough to change into his full beast form until today, but he has taken what Night Terror said to him to heart.

"I am the master of my magic," Elfman said to himself, "I am the master of my magic."

He kept on repeating it to himself over and over, trying to calm himself down and find control in his beast form. Slowly, but surely he began to shrink back into his normal body and released a deep breath.

"Thank you Night Terror," Elfman said to himself, "not only did you save my sister, but you have taught me how to take back control. You...have done so much for my family," he said smiling happily to himself.

That's before he threw both fists into the air and snarled in anger, "But that doesn't mean you get to date my sister!" he bellowed, "Prove that you're a man Phobos and then I'll decide!" he proclaimed loudly.

Fairy Tail Guild

Meanwhile

Mirajane stopped what she was doing and frowned crossly.

"For some reason I feel like I have to beat up my brother after all of this is over," she said to herself in a deadpan tone.

Phantom Lord Guild Hall

Night Terror walked along a large corridor into a grand hall to what he hoped was the control room of the robot guild. Juvia had left a while ago and judging by how the whole shuddered and the Abyss Breaker spell stopping, the others must have dealt with the last of the Element Four. He had a theory that their power was fuelling the seal which might explain why Juvia had to leave the area.

He had no idea where she gone to, but wherever she was he hoped that she was alright.

His headache had got better since Abyss Breaker stopped, but it was far from gone. He tried to detect any fear of Jose Porla, but cringed when the aching got worse.

'I must have been overusing my magic, but it's never happened to me before," he thought in worry before he sensed somebody up ahead.

Coming down the grand staircase with a sinister smile on his face was Jose Porla. Dressed in a blue uniform and a red cape, Jose chuckled darkly as he made his way over towards Night Terror.

"We finally meet, Phobos," Jose greeted menacingly, "you have to forgive my excitement, it's rare to see you people these days."

"Mr Jose," Night Terror greeted plainly, "I see you have crawled out of your dingy cesspit of a guild. You know my demands, but I would like to request one more. Who told you my name?"

Jose laughed mockingly, "I'm unaware of how things worked on your island, but out here we don't give in just like that."

"Would you like me to show you how we worked things out?" Night Terror calmly asked as he showed him his claw threateningly.

"I would rather see you perish, Phobos," Jose said as he pointed his finger at him accusingly, "I name thee..."

And Jose called out his name. However, much to Jose's confusion, Night Terror was not bound by the spell like the last time. The Phobos shook his head dismissively.

"Do not insult the Phobos, Mr Jose. Did you really think we were stupid enough to allow you that much power over us? It can only be used once a Phobian year, but you will barely have a fraction of that time before I defeat you."

Jose growled in anger when he realised his plan had failed, "Fine, then I just have to deal with you myself," he said as his hands were surrounded by purple magic and his eyes became red.

"How predictable," Night Terror muttered.

With his magic, Jose created fifty shade soldiers surrounding Night Terror, "Soldiers, kill him!"

They all leaped at the Phobos, their claw hands ready to tear into him. However, Night Terror was quicker and more deadlier. He tore through the soldiers swiftly, dispelling three or four with one swing. Jose continued to make another fifty and then another, but the Phobos would strike, punch and stab as far as he could create them. And that was with his claws, Night Terror was also manipulating the shadows around them to pick up and strangle or tear apart soldiers. Jose had to admit it was a horrifying display. He could see why the Phobos are feared for their fighting skills.

He was about to make a hundred more soldiers when he had to duck under a strike from a tendril of shadow sent at his head. Grinning victoriously at dodging he turned back to Night Terror when he saw the Phobos prepared to strike him. The tendril had been a distraction. Jose had reacted in time and purple magic formed over his left hand and whipped it Night Terror.

"DARK WAVE!" Jose roared as sent a ball of magic at the Phobos.

Night Terror saw this and used his shadows to get out of its path. The Dark Wave ball hit the other side of the hall and broke through to the other side while Night Terror gently landed elegantly on his feet a few meters away from Jose.

"You're really trying my patience," Jose growled as he raised his hands above them, "Shade Entangle!" he commanded as a hundred Shade soldiers formed around the Phobos and grabbed onto his robe.

They piled onto him, choking and punching and trying to rip him apart. Jose watched and sneered in joy.

"Be warned, Phobos. The more you struggle, the stronger their grip," Jose coldly said before gasping as the pile of soldiers exploded.

The Shade soldiers flew in all directions, dispelling as they hit the walls or the floors. Night Terror stood up as he was free from the spell, dark tendrils of shadows that had been used to throw the soldiers away going back under his robe.

"So, in other words, do not struggle and they become weak," Night Terror said as he dusted some dust off his shoulder.

"WHY DON'T YOU JUST DIE!" Jose shrieked as he sent another Dark Wave ball at him.

However, this time, Night Terror was prepared and caught the ball in his outstretched claw. Jose took a step back in shock and anger as the Phobos easily caught his attack

"Stupid brat!" Jose cried out.

Night Terror couldn't reply as he was using as much Fear magic as possible to push back the Dark Wave. His head felt as if it was splitting in half, but he had to ignore it. He had to keep fighting.

I CURSE THE PHOBOS! I'LL KILL YOU! I'LL KILL YOU ALL!

Night Terror used all his strength and threw the Dark Wave back at Jose who had to jump to the side to avoid getting hit by his own attack. Night Terror doubled over and held his head in his hands in agony. It was getting stronger, he's starting to hear things from his past.

Porlyusica's House

Meanwhile

Makarov's eyes snapped open in panic, surprising Porlyusica who was still treating him.

"Makarov, how-"

"It's Night Terror," Makarov interrupted as he sat up urgently, "it's happening."

Porlyusica's frowned in confusion before her eyes widened when she realised what he meant, "Oh no," she lightly gasped.

Phantom Lord Guild

Jose picked himself up off the floor and growled in fury at the Phobos. However, the anger subsided to confusion as he saw Night Terror clutching his head in pain. He smiled wickedly at the sight.

"What's wrong? Did the scary Phobos use too much magic?" he cruelly mocked.

"Ple-se, don't ge-t any clos-er," Night Terror begged as more voices entered his head.

Elend burned because of you!

You killed my daughter!

Jose laughed and kicked Night Terror over on to his side. His head was hurting so much that he couldn't do anything to stop him.

"You Phobos talk a big game, but you're nothing but cowards on the inside," Jose said as he kicked him in the stomach and sent him sliding across the marble floor.

Why did you survive the Island of Fear and nobody else did?

You're a disgrace to Phobos Clan!

You should have perished with the others!

The voices were getting louder and louder and Night Terror could not silence them. He stood to his feet and held one of his claw out to Jose.

"Y-ou...need t-o...run!" Night Terror shouted at him.

Jose sneered, purple magic forming around his hand once more, "Don't tell me what to do, Fairy Trash! Dark pulse!" he commanded as he sent an explosion of magic towards him.

The Phobos couldn't defend himself and took the attack to his chest, sending him flying back and hitting the far wall. Jose cackled darkly as the explosion died down and he saw Night Terror slumped against the wall. His robe was torn to shreds and revealed a suit of silver armour that was attached to his clawed gloves. The breastplate of the armour was smashed to pieces to show his blue tattooed chest. The only thing that was not destroyed was his hood that still covered his face in darkness. Jose could see that his breathing was laboured by how rapid his chest was going up and down and smiled triumphantly.

"No so tough now are you," Jose mocked as he prepared another attack to finish him off.

However, before he could carry it out, the speakers came to life and the voice of Gajeel echoed through the hallway and it was heard by the Fairy Tail guild.

"Master Jose, I've got a present for you. Speak in to the microphone," he ordered to somebody.

The sound of struggling came through the speakers, until a furious, familiar voice spoke.

"Let me go, you idiot! Let me go!" the voice demanded, making Night Terror look up in horror.

"L-ucy," he gasped, before his headache got even worse.

The Fairy Tail guild was just as appalled by the discovery and shouted in protest while Jose smiled wickidly.

"Well done, Gajeel, well done," he congratulated with a chuckle, "now we have to deal with the rest of them. Starting with this one," Jose said looking down at Night Terror.

Night Terror couldn't listen to what anyone was saying. The voices from his dream were coming back and they were getting louder and louder and faster and faster.

Elend burned because of you!

You killed my daughter!

Why did you survive the Island of Fear and nobody else did?

You're a disgrace to Phobos Clan!

You should have perished with the others!

You've failed your new clan!

Lucy is in danger and you didn't do anything to stop them!

All your clansmen are going to perish again!

AND IT'S ALL YOUR FAULT!

"Night," Lucy cried through the speakers, "I am alright, but you need to keep fighti-ahhh!" she suddenly screamed in pain.

Gajeel growled menacingly, "That's enough out of you," he said before turning of the speaker.

Night Terror's eyes widened in shock as he heard he scream in agony, 'Lucy is hurt, Lucy is hurt, Lucy is hurt, Lucy is hurt, THEY... HURT... LUCY!'

And suddenly Night Terror's mind snapped and his arms fell limp to his sides.

His headache was gone.

Jose, who looked up when Lucy screamed in pain and growled in annoyance, suddenly felt fear radiating from Night Terror making him shiver. He looked wearily down and stepped back as he felt so much magic power coming from his limp body. It was almost overwhelming. Fighting back the fear, Jose slowly approached with a fake brave smirk.

"Still fighting me, I see. You Fairy trashes don't know when to quit," he cackled as he gripped the hem of Night Terror's hood, "Let me at least see what a Phobos looks like before I kill you. It's not like I'll ever get this opportunity aga-" he stopped as he lifted the hood covering the Phobos face and looked at his face.

Jose Porla screamed in horror.

Fairy Tail Guild

The rest of Fairy Tail were in a frenzy. Their plan for Lucy to escape had failed and now she was in more danger then before. Erza and Ur climbed aboard the Phantom Lord robot ready to fight while Mirajane tagged along to help find her brother. Lisanna, Levy and Cana were left to hold down the fort in case of another attack.

However, everyone stopped what ever they were doing immediately as they heard a roar bellow from the Phantom Lord guild. It was nothing that they ever heard before. It wasn't like an animal roar, but it was darker, deadlier and louder. Every single Fairy Tail member and anyone in the nearby area heard the cry and froze in terror. The mere sound of it was enough to make the bravest of people run away.

After a few seconds of deathly silence, Lisanna was the one to break it.

"W-what was that?" she trembled in fear, like everyone else her eyes were wide and her heart was racing a hundred miles an hour.

"That, dear child, was a roar of a Deimos," a voice they weren't expecting spoke, making everyone look to see Master Makarov limping towards them.

"Master!" they all cried in relief.

"You're alright," Levy said, her face filled with happiness.

Makarov chuckled when they greeted him, but gave the Phantom Lord guild a serious look, "It would seem I was too late."

Suddenly part of the wall of the guild broke away and a monstrous being climbed out of it. It was as tall as three storied building, its body was made out of shadows that moved like the black ink, its hands and feet were clawed and it gripped the side of the stone building and began climbing up it. However, the worst was its face. Its mouth was no more then a row of very pointed teeth which stretched into a terrifying smile from either side of the head. Its eyes were the only thing that wasn't shadow, instead they were white and sharp and if one were to stare into them they would go mad in fear.

The Fairy Tail members backed away instinctively at the sight of it. It was the most horrifying thing they had ever seen in their lives. The living embodiment of darkness and emptiness as if it had crawled out from the pits of the abyss. The members who were faint at heart began to fall over unconscious, others began to shake violently and had the desire to run away.

"Is that another of Phantom Lord's weapons," Cana asked, trying her best to fight off the desire to hide.

Makarov sadly shook his head, "That is what when a Phobos loses control of their magic."

"You don't mean-"

"Yes," Makarov answered Levy's question, "that is Night Terror and it will get bigger and bigger as more people fear it."

The Fairy Tail members who were listening gasped in shock. Surely this couldn't be their Night Terror.

"Night, no," Cana quietly said as tears formed in her eyes

"But we can stop it before he loses more control," Levy said, "we just need to use the restriction spell-"

Makarov shook his head, "That won't work. Phantom Lord has already used it once prematurely. Jose Porla what have you done," he muttered to himself.

"We have to help him," Lisanna cried, "there has to be another way."

"If there was one then I don't know it," Makarov answered in disappointed, "Night Terror will have to take back control himself."

"How would he do that?"

"I don't know," he sighed sadly, "I just don't know."

They watched the Deimos reach the top of the robot. It lifted its head to the sky and gave another bloodcurdling roar.

Control Room

Jose Porla ran into the room in a panic and slammed the doors behind him. The other occupants of the room which included Gajeel, a slightly injured (who was pinned up against the wall with Gajeel's metal spikes) and few other members of Phantom Lord looked at the master in shock. Jose's face was filled with absolutely horror and his uniform was ripped in places. They had never seen the master in such a disheveled state.

"He's a monster," Jose gasped in fear as he locked the doors tightly.

"Master," Gajeel started, "what's wrong? What was that roar?" he asked as Jose backed away from the door.

"The Phobos...I tried everything, but my magic just avoided it," he whimpered in reply.

"The Phobos?" Gajeel questioned.

"Night," Lucy gasped in joy.

Gajeel turned to her with annoyed growl, "Got something to say, blondie," he said alright he was met with a confident smile.

"Yeah," Lucy boldly answered, "you should have listened to his warning."

A loud bang and sound of falling bricks from outside caught their attention, making Jose shriek in fear.

"It's coming!" he helped as he shook in fear.

Another loud bang rang out this time it was closer.

"What the hell is that!?" Gajeel shouted as the other members looked around worry. Even Lucy was concerned.

The next bang seemed it was coming right outside the control room and Lucy could now feel the sense of fear that Night Terror often radiates. But it was different, so much stronger, so much...deadlier.

Suddenly a thundering roar sounded outside before the ceiling was ripped away by a giant shadow monster. Jose yelped in fear and threw attack after attack at it, but the Dark Waves wouldn't even go near it and flew off away from the Deimos. Gajeel cursed and coated himself in iron to protect himself from debris, and the other Phantoms screamed in terror and fainted on the spot.

Lucy looked up at the Deimos not in fear of it but out of fear for Night Terror. The Tome that he had given her had been vague on the subject of Deimos almost as if it was taboo to write it down. Lucy now knows why.

"JOSE PORLA!" the Deimos bellowed as it towered over the destroyed room, "I HAVE WARNED YOU MANY TIMES TO LEAVE AND YOU STILL MAKE A MOCKERY OF ME! DO YOU FEAR ME NOW!"

"I'm sorry!" Jose cried, "We'll leave now I promise! Just don't kill me!"

The Deimos roared in laughter before he placed his face near the cowering wizard, "DEATH IS TOO GOOD FOR YOU JOSE! YOU SHALL SUFFER IN THE VOID TILL I RELEASE YOU!"

As he declared that a black tendril of shadows shot out his hand, wrapped around Jose's feet, and dragged him into the shadows.

"NO PLEASE STO-"

He was cut off as soon as he was submerged into inky blackness. The Deimos proceeded to drag the rest of the Phantoms into his body leaving Gajeel as the only one behind. He watched his master and his feel guild members get pulled in and looked up at him. Hiding his fear behind a confident sneer.

"Guess I have to teach you another les-"

The Deimos slammed his hand down onto Gajeel knocking the wind out of him. The monstrous being glanced at the trapped Lucy and growled when he saw her restraints. He swiftly knocked them away, freeing Lucy before leaning close to Gajeel's panic stricken face.

"WHO TOLD YOU MY NAME!?" he questioned with a dark growl.

"I don't know!" Gajeel replied, before grunting in pain as he pressed him harder into the floor, "Seriously I don't know! He hid in the shadows!"

"DO NOT LIE TO ME!"

"I'm not!" Gajeel insisted before nodding his head towards a cabinet that had partially been destroyed, "Jose found something when he left and put it into a box! I don't know why! I think he was going to blackmail him later for more info on you! Now please let me go!"

The Deimos chuckled darkly, "NOT YET! YOU HAVE NOT ATONED FOR YOUR CRIMES FOR DESTROYING THE GUILD, STARTING A WAR WITH MY CLAN, USING MY PEOPLE'S MAGIC AGAINST ME AND INJURING LUCY!"

Gajeel's eyes widened as he saw the Deimos rear back a fist aimed directly at his head before sending at him.

"Stop!" Lucy cried as she got in the way of his fist, making him stop a few centimetres in front of her face, "that's enough. You made your point."

The Deimos' eyes seemed to soften slightly as it saw Lucy's stern gaze back at him, her arms outstretched protectively in front of Gajeel.

"MISS LUCY-" it grumbled softly, before she reached out and petted his giant fist comfortingly,

"Please, turn back to normal. I know you're angry about Phantom Lord destroying the guild and starting the war, but it's over now. You don't need to keep on going," she said soothingly.

The Deimos eyes widened as he observed the detestation he caused. She was right, the war was over.

"Night," Lucy called out to him again, "please turn back now."

The Deimos hesitated for a few seconds before slowly it began to shrink, the shadows peeling off him and zooming out of sight. When it shrunk to ten foot tall, it backed into a dark corner of the room and out of Lucy's sight. In a gentle voice that Lucy has never heard before, Night Terror called out to her.

"Miss Lucy, can you please find me something to cover my head," he requested.

Lucy nodded and turned back to Gajeel, "Do you have any bandag-" she stopped when she saw that he was completely unconscious, "n-nevermind I'll go look for myself."

She made her way to the partially destroyed cabinet and looked through it. She found a roll of white cotton bandages and picked them up. She was about to turn back when she noticed the box that Gajeel had mentioned earlier. It was made of oak, about the size of a shoebox and it had a metal clasp on the side which kept it locked. Humming curiously, she picked up the box as well and made her way back towards where Night Terror was hiding. She tossed the bandages into the shadows and Night gave her a gentle thank you in reply.

Soon Night Terror stepped out of the shadows. His head and was completely hidden by layers of bandages where the only thing not covered where his eyes and even then they were hidden in darkness for anyone to look in. What's left of his attire was his a pair of trousers he wore under silver armour, his robe and the top half of his armour were ripped to shreds. Even his silver claws were unsalvageable. The lack of his robe and armour revealed his bare torso and arms decorated with intricate swirls and leaves of wode.

"Miss Lucy," Night Terror said, using his dark voice, "Thank you for you assistan- What are you doing?" he inquired in confusion as he saw that Lucy was looking away, her face bright red.

"What do you mean what am I doing? You're topless!" she cried in embarrassment.

"I am just as unenthusiastic as you are on the idea," Night Terror replied, "but we both have to suffer through."

"Can't you use your shadows to cover yourself up?"

Night Terror tried to manipulate the shadows, but they didn't obey him, "It would seem not. I must have exhausted all my power today."

Lucy peeked behind her, before turning away shyly, "You're robe was destroyed," she observed.

"Yes, but do not worry, neither my robe nor my armour were special. I made them when I first arrived in Fiore and I can make them again," he told her.

"And what about Jose and the others," Lucy asked.

"They are safe. The Deimos had only transported them to a secure place," Night Terror explained as he slowly approached her, "I suppose we are lucky that we are somewhere fairly isolated. If I had turned into a Deimos in a populated area, the amount of fear from the people would make it stronger and more ruthless."

"Yeah, lucky" Lucy murmured with a sweat drop.

She then groaned in pain and collapsed to her knees. Night Terror caught her before she could fall any further and supported her.

"Are you alright, Miss Lucy?" the Phobos asked in concern.

"Just tired," she said, as she smiled up at him.

Night Terror nodded his bandages head head before wrapping his hand underneath her arm and lifted her up into a bridal carry. Lucy's face became even more red which worried Night Terror a little.

"W-w-what are you doing," she squeaked as he was pressed against his muscular chest, holding the box she picked up tighter in her arms.

"Since you carried me earlier, I will do the same for you," Night Terror told her as he started walking out of the room, "You know, Miss Lucy. Even if the Deimos was not as strong as it could have been, I don't believe that it would have stopped so easily. Perhaps we have such a close relationship that you had managed to convince my subconscious being. I suppose what I am trying to say is that I value your friendship very much. Something I have not had for many years. Thank you, Miss-" he looked down and saw that Lucy had passed out.

The position she was in was too much for her innocent mind and so had blown a fuse. Night Terror looked down at her flushed face and her small nosebleed and was briefly confused by what caused her state.

"You must be tired," Night Terror cluelessly said as he continued, "have a long rest."

Night Terror continued to carry her through the destroyed Phantom Lord guild, eyeing the box Lucy had picked up with a cautious look

And cut, hope you enjoyed that.

Again I'm not quite sure about if I explained Fear magic properly so send a review and I'll be happy to answer any of your questions.

Hope you liked the fight scenes against the Jupiter, Juvia and Jose. I think I was able to portray Juvia well and as I said in the beginning she will be curious of NT first before she becomes her usual obsessed character. Next chapter will reveal more secrets on what happened on the Island of Fear so stay tuned.

Thanks :)
