Chapter 26 - Gift
Then, Yuugi appears who was crestfallen.
His golden collar and tricolored hair were visible, reminiscent of the monarch's. The golden fringes framed her heart-shaped face with soft features, not having the expected golden streaks, with the spiky ends of the hair being softer, having the amethyst color at the edges instead of the king's crimson along with the fact that the skin was the color of ivory, in addition to being much smaller in stature than the sovereign to the point of looking like a child while his large, expressive amethyst eyes were not fully visible as he was with his face downcast.
The slave bends to his knees and lowers his forehead, point both hands splayed out in front as the stinging pains gripped his body, with Yukiko snarling inside him, displaying an intense fury as he wanted to tear apart the bastard who had disciplined his friend.
Atemu couldn't contain his surprise at the similarity between them although they had some differences. The rest of the people in the Royal Hall were also surprised, but unlike the monarch, they could openly show their amazement.
Jounouchi, Honda, Ryo and Mariki look at each other and talk to each other.
"Another Atemu?"
"It's amazing the resemblance."
"He has some differences. Look." Ryo speaks while pointing.
The quartet looks intently at the young man.
"In fact, I see the difference between the two better. He's shorter, has a much more delicate build, the skin is the same as yours and as for the hair, he just has a golden fringe framing his face, not having a lock spiky golds that radiate spiky to their ends like our childhood friend. The edge of the spiky hair is very smooth and amethyst in color. Also, his eyes are the same color as the amethyst and not crimson like Atemu's." Mariki comments, nodding in the affirmative.
Mahaado is surprised, as are the others, while the monarch even stood up for a few centimeters, then stopped his action, returning to assume the same posture as before while Seto had seen this subtle gesture that left him satisfied, thus demonstrating your cousin's reaction to your gift.
After Yuugi, Kisara enters exhibiting the same features and a broken look while in intense pain, then prostrates himself after bowing to the Pharaoh.
Everyone else was surprised to see her because she was exotic, too.
While they were there, Seto discreetly looked at the silver as he felt he knew her from somewhere, although he couldn't remember where and despite not being absolutely sure he knew her, he kept forcing his mind all afternoon to try to remember her.
Then, focusing on her face, the Hem-netjr was worried to see that her look was different from before because the blue orbs, which shamed the most beautiful sapphire, became opaque.
After all, she wasn't like that the last time he saw her and when looking at the other slave, he noticed the same look, making him show confusion on his face because they weren't in that state when he bought them both.
He is brought out of his thoughts by the voice of the o tjaty (Vizier) and Royal Councilor, Shimon, who asks Seto as he looks at him, "What about this young lady?"
"She's mine. Per'a'ah's gift is this boy."
Atemu was overly concerned with the look the slave exhibited when he saw that the amethyst orbs did not show any sign of life in them because they were opaque, as if it were an extinguished candle, making him have the strange feeling that something very serious had happened to him and to the girl.
Furthermore, when she saw him, she felt a slight pulse of her Sennensui and as she concentrated on the sensation, her heart missed a beat because when she looked at the boy, believing that he was a child because of his short stature, expressive eyes and countenance with soft curves, he realized that this young man was what permeated his dreams since he was a child and that he had been eagerly seeking for years.
Suddenly, Wadjet's eye shines, surprising all present as he cleared the monarch's visions, making the figure hitherto almost unrecognizable to be flooded by light, making him visible though in his visions the expressive amethyst orbs, which they shamed the most beautiful amethyst, they glowed with happiness. Sennen Aitemu's reaction only confirmed what his heart already knew and felt for the young man.
Then, the eye suddenly stops glowing, causing a murmur in the royal hall, with his friends looking at each other as they try to understand the item's reaction.
Even with the intense emotions that gripped him, such as the elation that his quest had come to an end because the one who sought with all the strength of his heart was in front of him, he managed to maintain an austere face that displayed authority, as well as , superiority.
Only those who knew him from a young age and who were allowed to look into his crimson orbs could identify the intense happiness that emanated from them, while for a more inattentive look or not one of his closest friends, they seemed implacable.
The monarch hides the concern he felt at seeing the broken gaze of the smallest that cut into his heart, with the sovereign ardently wishing to see nothing less than the glow in those beautiful orbs that were like the most precious gem.
"What's your name and how many harvests do you have?"
"My name is Yuugi and I am seventeen, Per'a'ah." He answers in an empty voice, without any emotion, just like his eyes, without leaving his position.
"Seventeen? That term is unknown to me."
Ryou notices first and quickly bends over in front of his childhood friend who hated to see his friends needing to bend over.
However, he hides his displeasure and curiosity.
"What do you want?"
"Per'a'ah, I believe it's the equivalent of seventeen harvests. Sixteen harvests from your parent's reign, the Per'a'ah Akhenamkhanen, and one harvest from your reign, Per'a'ah." He speaks the real name of the monarch's father because he received authorization, as did his father and the others.
Ryou used as a basis the dating method used by the realm from which his mother came, considering a year as a harvest for matching.
Yukiko, who was overcome with rage as she growled furiously, starts to question himself, why the man wants to know his friend's age until the only plausible explanation arises in his mind and that he was a sex slave and considering that hypothesis, her fury increased, with her hating the Kemetics for what happened to Yuugi.
In fact, the albino wanted to ruthlessly destroy them all and then destroy all the temples and pyramids, eradicating them from existence because she had never hated a people as she hated them in that instant while she was worried about the consequences of a rape.
After all, this would deepen the trauma of her friend whose spirit was partially shattered, with her having difficulty articulating conversations with her friend after the discipline while still searching for some way to seal his and Kisara's memories.
The albino had to insist consecutively and too much to get him to respond, being a little relieved to see that she had managed to save a good piece of his mind from punishment and that it was the same for Kisara due to the fact that the tricolor-haired teenager had given his bracelet for the young woman, making her manage to save a part of her and that was greater by the dragon's influence within the silver that was her soul and essence.
After all, it wasn't easy to break a dragon and it wouldn't be part of the morning and an entire afternoon that would destroy one's mind.
Even so, the young woman had some sequelae because there had been emotional and consequently mental injuries, as well as physical injuries in her muscles, although they were in smaller amounts compared to Yuugi, who was only a human.
Of course, she distrusted a way to seal those memories, but she needed to be sure it would work because she feared there would be consequences if she failed in her intent.
After a few minutes, the sovereign speaks, addressing the smaller male, "You will be my personal servant."
The young man doesn't speak and bows his head, his forehead touching the ground, showing that he understands, with Atemu sighing discreetly, then turning to the albino who wore the same broken look as the young man.
"What about you, girl. What's your name and how many crops?"
"My name is Kisara and I don't exactly know my age. I think I have eighteen harvests from your parent's reign, Per'a'ah Akhenamkhanen, and one harvest from your reign, Per'a'ah." However, I don't know how to estimate. I'm sorry." She says no emotion in her voice.
The monarch sighs again because it was visible to either of them that they were both broken, making him sigh inwardly as he imagines how the mental and emotional damage they suffered came while he ardently wished to find a way to reverse it because he longed to see the beautiful glow in those amethyst orbs that were like two precious gems.
Looking at his cousin, he notices that he is showing confusion on his face as he watches them both and decides to ask, "What's up, Hem-netjr Seto?"
"I don't understand what happened, Per'a'ah. They weren't like that when I bought them.
I didn't get to talk to both of them after their acquisition, but their looks weren't like that and they didn't show any tremors in their body."
"Are you sure of your words?"
"Yes, Per'a'ah." He speaks readily, bowing his head in respect to his sovereign.
Atemu merely claps his hands once and the soldiers appear in front of him, bowing as the guests watch the events unfold with clear interest.
"Bring to my presence whoever sold these slaves to the Holy Guardian. Use whatever horses are necessary." The king orders authoritatively and in a tone that does not accept contestation.
They consent and then withdraw while all the people meet in silence, not daring to comment because the Per'a'ah was the most powerful man in Kemet, with his own power coming from the Gods.
After all, it was sunrise and sunset.
Therefore, no one wanted to annoy a God because they feared his divine wrath.
Jounouchi, Honda, Mariki and Ryou imagined that these were everyone's thoughts and therefore, silence reigned without having a tiny sound in the background while they themselves, as well as their parents, did not have this fearful vision due to the friendship that they owned with Atemu at the same time that the father of each of them were childhood friends of Akhenamkhanen and had known Atemu since he was a baby, with the families possessing close bonds of friendship.
It was the same for the imi-r pr wr (Superintendent of the great house), Cynthia, her husband, Maximillion (Crawford) of Hellas, and Leon, her son. She had inherited her grandmother's appearance, making her light-skinned while her curly blond hair and blue eyes stood out among the Kemetics. Cynthia was the granddaughter of the Tjaty (Vizir) and Royal Councilor, Shimon Muran.
But even with this friendship they had, everyone had to follow etiquette and act like everyone else, with the difference that they didn't have any fear in their eyes and didn't have to prostrate themselves. As for their wives, they couldn't help but feel a slight fear and their husbands didn't condemn them because in the culture they came from, the emperor was seen as a god and when he died, he ascended to heaven on the back of a dragon.
Therefore, they had this vision carved into their minds from an early age and in Kemet, it was no different. The Per'a'ah was considered the son of the Gods and therefore a God, with divine authority over the Kemetics.
Of the Holy Guardians, the only one who hid his annoyance at the precious time the monarch wasted on paltry slaves was Akhenaden, who was very careful not to throw daggers at his nephew with his eyes.
In fact, it took all his self-control not to show his deepest look of disgust and anger because he never accepted the words and the divine fury poured out on him nearly two years ago, when Atemu discovered the truth about the creation of the Sennen Aitemu and consequently the reason for Akhenamkhanen's illness.
After all, in addition to the blunt and equally furious words, he had lost his son who avoided his presence, as well as giving him a look of disgust whenever he dared to approach him or if they were both in the same room.
After several minutes, the guards bring in whoever sold Yuugi and Kisara, with the merchant showing confusion on his face as he prostrated himself before the monarch, lowering his forehead in submission while trembling with fear that his ruler could kill anyone and continue with your daily routine, as if nothing had happened.
He even remembered such an event with the previous king when he heard frightening reports and who was sitting on the throne was his son, a God among men, with the seller not understanding why he was terrified because he had done nothing of wrong in your vision.
Then, he hears the deep baritone, authoritative voice, with this being the voice of a ruler and that resonates in the Royal Hall, "The Hem-netjr Seto realized that slaves are different from when he bought them at auction to know the reason for this change."
Atemu controlled the anger in his voice masterfully, recalling his father's teachings to make the culprits not fearful and end up confessing what he wanted.
"They seem like exemplary slaves. I don't doubt that many would appreciate this conduct and behavior. How did you achieve this feat?" The monarch completes the farce by simulating a tone of surprise wrapped in a false and subtle wonder.
Then, falling into the trap of the sovereign who watched him attentively like a predator patiently waiting for the right moment to attack his prey, the seller puffs out his chest, wrongly thinking that he had pleased his sovereign with the discipline he performed on them while the monarch he was pleased to see that the man under the stairs leading to his throne had fallen into his trap, causing him to condemn himself as he eagerly answered his sovereign's question as he found himself soaked in his own satisfaction by mistakenly judging that the his monarch was satisfied with his actions.
"After Hem-netjr Seto-sama bought them, I realized that I was selling slaves without any training to be submissive, besides not knowing how to proceed in the presence of their masters. However, they had been sold and I could not damage the merchandise with a common whip, plus the fact that they're virgins. So I couldn't teach how a sex slave would act because they might want to take their virginity for themselves. At least I taught them about oral sex. So I used a special whip that didn't it leaves a mark, but it does a lot of damage under the skin and..."
So he went on to tell all the details, mistakenly thinking that the sovereign was showing admiration for his ability to break a slave in record time while the exact opposite was true. There was the purest fury and nausea in Atemu, who hid them masterfully while not allowing his true feelings to show in his face and conduct as he had been taught because he should give the rope so that the culprit would hang himself by keeping their feelings and emotional state under strict control, demonstrating an impartial countenance and devoid of any feeling, with the exception of manipulating the tones of voices to be used against those who were tried, in order to make the guilty confess their crimes, according to the teachings he had learned from his father by accompanying him in several of his judgments.
Seto was shocked by the account and after the shock wore off, he felt intensely guilty for leaving them both with the vendor instead of bringing them to the palace for being late to prepare for the ritual before the ceremony. At the same time that he heard the disgusting description, the Holy Guardian began to feel anger and revulsion for the man prostrate in front of him as he twisted his fists when he understood the reason for their abrupt change.
Inside Yuugi, Yukiko didn't understand the king's gesture and as her friend kept his head down, she couldn't see the monarch's reaction.
Despite this, it still felt a lot of fury in the form of deafening snarls, its claws twitching compulsively as its fangs were visible as it brandished its muscular tail with a club at the end, capable of breaking dragon bones as easily as sticks. by brandishing it like a whip.
Jounouchi, Honda, Ryou, their parents, as well as Mariki, Mana, Shimon, Diiva, Rishido, Cynthia, the Holy Guardians, with the exception of Akhenaden, as well as anyone minimally decent or disapproving of slavery, displayed nausea and fury with the report although they controlled themselves because of the monarch who kept an implacable face, showing no emotion as he limited himself to looking closely at the man prostrate at the foot of the steps.
However, those who knew the sovereign from an early age, holding the right to look directly into his eyes, could detect the fury contained in his crimson orbs and which was imperceptible to all others and to those who could detect the real feelings that took Atemu at that moment, they felt no pity for the divine fury that would descend on the merchant, with everyone agreeing that the man deserved the worst of punishments.
