Chapter 31 - Battle for Supremacy

"The visions are blurred, Per'a'ah. After the ceremonial, I will concentrate hard to clear the visions from my necklace." She speaks after sighing.

"It may undo your heika (magic), Hem-netjer Mahaado." Atemu speaks while looking at the superintendent of mages.

He consents, undoing his magic while Yukiko was desperate to see Yuugi still in the arms of that man who was pointing something sharp at her neck. His despair was visible in his eyes and countenance, making the monarch feel sorry for the state the dragon was in when he saw his friend surrendered while trying to hide any feelings that were inappropriate for the situation because he needed to assume his mantle of Per'a'ah who exercised a divine hand of authority over Kemet.

The ruler of that empire speaks in his deep, relentless baritone voice, "By losing, you will subject yourself to accepting the constant reinforcement of magic in that collar made by Mahaado and the Magi Court if necessary, and you will have to obey all mine orders unrestrictedly and without hesitation, calling me master until further notice. In other words, you will have to submit to my orders. As a mercy and as a reward for obedience and good behavior, I will allow Yuugi and Kisara to see you. Do you agree with the terms?"

Yukiko shows confusion on her face with some of the terms because that mage could reinforce her collar if she wanted and couldn't help it because she would end up restricted if the king of that realm ordered her not to attack, with her being forced to comply with the order by collar, as well as she would be forced to call him what he wanted so as not to be punished. That is, she was obliged to obey any order he gave and therefore, she did not understand why she had the option of having to comply with the part of allowing reinforcement of the collar and calling him master. He could achieve these two requirements without any compromise, just by wearing the magic item around his neck.

So, in her eyes, some of these terms sounded like they were unnecessary considering the fact that she was using that object.

The dragon decides to shrug her shoulders because if the man in front of her wanted to propose unnecessary terms in an agreement, the problem was his because for the dragon he was indifferent, unaware of the fact that he was preventing for the future when his powers increased as she did become an adult.

Furthermore, Yukiko confessed that Yuugi and Kisara's permission to visit her was too surreal.

After all, she was aware that she caused quite a commotion, in addition to having damaged some structures along with the fact that she had caused occasional cracks in the sandstone floor.

Therefore, such authorization and grant was something unexpected, even if it came pegged as a reward for good behavior in following all of his orders.

The divine snow dragon shakes her head from side to side, deciding not to think too much because considering the posture and aura of power of the man in front of her, she should be grateful that she still had the option of battle, although she wasn't entirely sure if she would win, considering the extremely confident posture of the monarch that challenged her not to believe his words. Even so, she would do anything to defeat the three monsters he summoned by giving her all so he wouldn't have any regrets.

"Yes I do."

"Hemt-netjer Isis, summon your healing Ka (Mystical Elf). She has healing abilities, right?"

"Yes, Nsw. I will heal everyone who has had their Ka defeated."

"Use her on her too. It must be a fair battle. Therefore, she must be at her peak."

"Yes, Nsw".

"Let her go." He ordered while looking at the dragon as he gave the order to the object to release it.

The collar obeys the order given by the sovereign, causing the chains to loosen as they magically enter the object. It was evident from the fact that she was exhibiting some damage from the shock and violent constriction she had undergone in order to be immobilized.

Meanwhile, the hemt-netjer concentrates, muttering a chant of indecipherable words, making a stone slab appear behind her, then a monster carving appears and when the chant is finished, the Ka leaves the stone block.

"Heal everyone in this place!" Isis orders.

The Ka nods and makes his body glow, unleashing his healing power on everyone, with Yukiko being pleased to feel the end of her wounds, taking the liberty of shaking her fur, then holding her gaze before the monarch who says, "Let's go outside. The palace is no place for battle."

In this, they leave, with her being forced to walk ahead, away from Yuugi and Kisara because the young man was still held in Seto's arms, without being compressed by his arm, which only kept him close to the skin, in case they needed to stop the immense dragon that had to close its wings to pass through the corridors.

When Atemu looks around, he observes that among the meager people who stayed in the royal Hall, with the exception of the guards, there were his friends because they were the only ones who stayed there, in addition to their relatives who showed due respect to the monarch, once they were in public.

"We were relieved by the Per'a'ah solution." Jonouchi speaks after getting permission when his friend noticed they wanted to say something.

"Yes. Not that we doubted your power, it's just that we've never seen a dragon in the flesh."

"They are more amazing than in short stories." The albino speaks respectfully.

"Makes it amazing." The sandy haired teenager speaks as he gazes with fascination at the huge dragon.

The sovereign nods briefly and they follow the entourage.

The monarch knew that the reason they stayed in the royal hall was because they were his childhood friends and that they would never leave him, as well as Mahaado, Seto, Shimon and Mana.

Those who knew the monarch since childhood, knew that he would never kill an innocent and that it was all just a theater, with Seto participating in it. The impeccable acts of the high priest and the monarch made the dragon believe in his fattening while the other members of the Holy Guardians, as well as the servants, guards and slaves, as well as the guests, strongly believed that the monarch would comply with the threat because he was an implacable God, whose wisdom was divine.

The sovereign needed to assume this role because he could not rely solely on his divinity to control the Empire. It was necessary for him to demonstrate the essence of the Gods so that his subjects bowed down without daring to think of disobeying him or trying something against him, on pain of provoking his divine fury and whose image was not needed only by the subjects and their people. It should also serve as a symbol of power and a relentless, authoritative divine hand to foreigners to persuade them of any desire to attack the glorious Kemetic empire or break the law, with Shimon feeling proud to see that Atemu followed in his footsteps parent and carried himself like a splendid Per'a'ah.

The entourage headed for a part of the desert under the watchful eyes of guards, people and guests for the ceremony after the latter were found by the guards and informed through their personal servants about the battle that would take place outside the palace confines, with many of them getting curious to watch the battles between the dragon and the most powerful monsters in Kemet.

Those who hadn't seen Yukiko as they fled the Royal Hall, as soon as she was taken from Yuugi, were fascinated by the beauty and grandeur she exuded, as well as being an intimidating presence, with them realizing she was white and fuzzy for later, look at her sharp diamond-like claws that were capable of tearing steel like butter, with them looking at the powerful club at the end of her tail that was able to break what she craved along with those sharp canines in its jaws, in addition to the wings that must have been immense because its enormous size was visible, even when they were drawn close to its body.

There was a growing murmur of voices that were promptly silenced as Atemu raised one of his hands, making the room feel silent as his sharp, blood-red eyes surveyed the crowd with an omnipresent, sharp, calculating gaze.

"I am the very sunrise and sunset. I have challenged this being, from the lands beyond the mighty empire of Kemet, in a battle of supremacy. I will demonstrate the superiority of the empire, defeating it in a fair battle, just as we do with any one who dares to challenge the Netjer (Gods) and the great Kemet!" He speaks in his deep baritone voice like a deep abyss while displaying an unwavering, stern and calculating countenance alongside an authoritative and extremely confident baritone voice.

His brief speech makes the Egyptians look in awe at their monarch who challenged a being who displayed his own power and beauty.

Yukiko agreed that it was a very effective speech.

"That's if you defeat me. I will defeat everyone you send to fight me."

Atemu said nothing and focused his powers, with Sennensui glowing as he ordered, "Tekhenu (Oberisuku no Kyoshinhei), appear before me!"

Then, from one of the pyramids, called Ueju no Shinden where the stone slabs containing the monsters were located, a blue beam appears that extends until it lands behind Atemu and when the beam is concentrated in a single point, it starts to glow brightly, gradually getting bigger until the glow fades, revealing one of the Egyptian Gods in all his glory and absolute power, making spectators gasp at the intimidating sight even as the albino agreed he was imposing and not just for his immense size. The posture and build exuded the purest power.

In fact, he could be seen as a god.

However, even with all the grandeur and immense size of the being that rose behind her summoner, she exhibited fearlessness in her blue orbs and begins to focus her powers, knowing that there would be two more.

"Tekhenu (Oberisuku no Kyoshinhei), pour your rage on this being! Use the Divine Fist!"

He raises his fist, concentrating his power on it, and then advances against Yukiko, with the dragon concentrating her power on the tail, thanking the cold that came from the desert at night and that helped her because she could fight better in the colder than the scorching desert heat during the day.

The dragon swings her club that advances against the Egyptian God's fist, causing the impact of the fist to hit the club that was brandished with fury, causing everyone to be surprised to see the God retreat, and then she vigorously swings her tail, again, starting a succession of violent blows that slammed into his opponent's body, doing damage while dodging the opponent's fists by swerving to the sides when necessary.

Atemu concentrates and starts to command, personally, the God, making the being manage to grab the tail of the albino, and then order him to press it to the point of causing damage, making the dragon scream for the lacerating pain.

However, even in intense pain, she manages to concentrate her powers, starting to converge the ice she had created in a single point in one of her hands in paw shapes and when finished, the ice crystals compacted, hardening its surface as it assumed the form of an extremely sharp sword, with the albino beginning to mercilessly hit the Egyptian God who ends up dropping his tail in the process although that point exhibited severe damage from the violent pressure, with the Ka disappearing as it fell before it, to the dismay of all after the relentless onslaught of the kind of sharp ice sword she had conjured while concentrating her powers.

"Indeed, aliens may have powers to try to subdue the reign of the Netjer (Gods), but invariably, they will fall." Atemu speaks up, maintaining his immeasurable self-confidence, making everyone expectant as he concentrates, with the Sennensui glowing as he commands. "Wsỉr ( Osiris - Oshirisu no Tenkuuryuu), appear before me!"

Another red light emerges from the pyramid and lands behind it, glowing brightly as it grows larger, ascending to the sky and after the glow fades, it reveals a huge, long red dragon with two jaws on its face, with the dragon agreeing that it had a slender body like that of a serpent as the sky turned dark and lightning fell around them.

She agreed that his presence was the same as the one before, exuding the purest power and grandeur, making that dragon an intimidating sight.

In fact, its roar made the blood run cold for many, with the majority of spectators dropping to their knees while displaying stunned faces as they saw the immense size of the being and the kind of smoke that was exhaled from the two jaws.

Yukiko realizes that it would be an aerial battle and if he wanted a battle in the skies, the being would have it, with it taking flight while deciding to ignore the stinging pain in its tail, more precisely in the place that was pressed by the previous monster.

An intense air battle ensues, with Atemu finding himself focused as he squints at the sky, aiming to command the God against the dragon who managed to deftly deflect the spheres of electricity fired from the lower jaw while waving the tail with difficulty, believing it to be the difficulty was the result of the violent grip she suffered at the hands of Tekhenu (Oberisuku no Kyoshinhei), causing her movements to become extremely painful.

The sovereign noted her difficulty in wagging her tail. Everything was going according to its strategy, which consisted of weakening it, in addition to undermining its weapons and its ability to fly while leaving the most powerful for last, not only for its power level, but for the characteristics of its power that would give her a big head start against her.

In fact, her club had been partially neutralized. But she still had the wings and claws. Wsir (Oshirisu no Tenkuuryuu) was the ideal opponent for what he had in mind.

Mentally guiding him, he orders the attacks, with the huge dragon firing electrical spheres at Yukiko who fired snow flurries from her jaws while performing aerial maneuvers to dodge the attacks, with both flying frantically across the sky, generating a spectacle of power and magnificence, leaving many spectators awestruck by the intense battle unfolding over their heads as they sliced through the clouds with their wings and bodies.

When the dragon approached the dragon by breaking its snow blast with a well-aimed electric ball, the dragon swung her club, capable of breaking dragon bones towards her opponent's head while ignoring the stinging pain of her tail as she did so the movement.

The dragon manages to dodge the blow at first by deflecting the larger jaws, eventually allowing the second, smaller jaw to accurately bite the previously injured area of her tail, making Yukiko roar in pain and even feeling lacerating pain, she manages to concentrate the ice in the tail to the point of creating sharp and pointed thorns that force the dragon to release the place whose initial injury had been enlarged, making the dragon despair when it feels that it can no longer move its tail. Her club had been completely neutralized.

Meanwhile, the act of biting and pulling Yukiko's tail caused her to get too close to her opponent, allowing a direct attack against her, with Atemu deciding to take this moment to launch a powerful blast from her Ka's main jaw.
