After what happened at the beach, Bianca wanted to be alone, so she spent the night alone up in the Samuels apartment.
She walks down the stairs to leave for school before a voice stops her in her tracks. "Hey, wait up!" the voice calls out. Bianca turns to see her new neighbor walking towards her.
"Hey there, stranger. How are you adjusting to life in the San Fernando Valley?" Bianca asks Daniel as they walk down the stairs. "Eh, could be better."
"Hey, I just wanna apologize if I seem like a jerk." Daniel apologizes, causing Bianca to be confused.
"So, you're apologizing for nothing? If it's any consolation prize, Daniel, I know how you feel." she simply tells him before getting to the bottom of the stairs and begins to walk out of the apartment complex.
"Woah, woah, woah. Did they hurt you?" Daniel asks her, getting concerned for his new friend.
"Let's just say that before I moved in with Toni and her mom, they were known to make my life a living hell." Bianca replies to him as the both of them exit the gates of the South Seas apartment complex.
"Hey, I can take you to school." Daniel offers.
"No, it's fine. You don't have to do that. I'll walk." Bianca brushes off.
"No, I insist. You're pretty much my only friend here, it's the least I can do." Daniel offers again, and it was enough to win her over.
And that is how Bianca DiLaurentis ended up on the back of Daniel LaRusso's bicycle. It is enough to garner the eyes of everyone, including one Johnny Lawrence, whose every fiber of his being is flamed with fury and envy.
"I might see you at lunch, and if you have nowhere to sit, you can always sit with me and Grayson." Bianca tells Daniel before she leaves to meet up with Chase and Peter.
"Don't look now, but the Cobra Cult was looking over at you." Chase informs Bianca. "Yeah, and if looks could kill, new kid might be six feet under." Peter adds in.
"Okay, I haven't even made contact with those guys in years. Why would it bother them?" Bianca asks them.
"Maybe the question should be why would it bother Johnny." Chase pipes in. "And maybe because he loves you." Peter taunts, shimmying his shoulders, causing Bianca to lightly push him away.
"Please, Johnny Lawrence and I have hated each other for as long as I can remember. And I'm pretty sure that nothing is going to change." Bianca brushes off, not at all thinking why he wants her to help him.
After her AP Lit class, she was at her locker, grabbing her stuff for her Statistics class when she saw Ali walk up to her.
"Hey, can I ask you something?" Ali asks. Bianca stays silent, gesturing to Ali to continue.
"There's nothing going on between you and Daniel, right?" she asks, causing Bianca to let out a laugh.
"Okay, Ali Mills, you should go into comedy." she gets out, her smile faltering as she sees the serious look on the blonde. "Oh, you're being serious."
"Hey, if you like the guy, then go for it. And besides, people of the opposite gender can still be friends without there being any romantic feelings." Bianca says to her before walking away.
At lunch, Bianca takes a bite out of the turkey and swiss sandwich. She is not a fan of school lunches, so she does whatever she can to bring her own lunch.
"Hey, last night at the beach. What was that all about?" Grayson asks, his mouth full of sauerkraut.
"They pestered me yesterday to tutor a friend of theirs." Bianca tells him, nonchalantly.
"Oh, must be someone that's not in their group. Why is that…" Grayson starts, but gets cut off by Bianca. "The friend is Johnny."
As soon as Bianca said that, Grayson winced. "Ooh, yeah. Now I get it."
"Maybe you should go for it. Remember last year, because of you and that little genius brain of yours, I'm able to graduate with you guys." Grayson tries to rationalize with her.
A part of her should help him because she is not one to dwell on the past, but another part of her thinks that it might be some cruel prank he's concocting because of said past.
"I don't know. I mean, the cons are severely outweighing the pros." Bianca confides in him. All of a sudden, the two heard laughter from the other side of the cafeteria. This garners their attention just in time to see Johnny place a piece of blueberry pie in Daniel's seat just as Daniel sat down next to Ali and her friends.
Bianca turns back to Grayson with a blank look. "See." she claims, pointing her hand in the general direction.
"You gotta watch where you sit next time. Probably your only pair of pants." Johnny taunts.
"Okay, now I see the point." Grayson muses out.
Daniel stands up to Johnny, vengeance clear in his mind, with Johnny letting out a sneer. "Don't even think of it, worm." he jeers. Daniel then smears the blueberry pie all over Johnny's expensive sweater.
Bianca can sense a fight brewing, so she is lucky that she got on top of the table and got over to the other side.
"Like I said, Gray, case in point." Bianca states as the two leave the cafeteria.
The rest of Bianca's day goes by quietly. Because she got to her Geography class earlier than usual, she began to work on her college admissions essay, and yes, she didn't care that it's due in a month for the early deadline.
She is so laser-focused on getting her essay done that she didn't notice the three other members in her group sitting down.
"Hey, DiLaurentis, do you have our topic for the project?" Tommy asks a disinterested Bianca.
"Uh-huh." Bianca mutters as she slides her notebook across her desk, her eyes not drifting from her essay.
Tommy leans over and waves his hand over face, trying to get her attention. She doesn't see it, but she does feel the slight wind from it happening. "Do you mind?" she asks.
"Aren't college essays due in a month?" Bobby asks.
"This is only the rough draft. I would still need to edit and revise it, as well as come up with a final draft." Bianca replies, defensively. "Also, for early application, you have to write about a person who inspires you."
It was a no-brainer that Bianca is writing about Toni, Peter, Chase, and Grayson.
For some reason, it didn't sit well with Johnny. If he were Bianca, he would be writing about Kreese.
"Shouldn't you be writing about your uncle?" he asks her, which causes her to look up from her essay and over at him with raised eyebrows.
"Oh, you mean the same man that always tore me down? He is not family." Bianca inquires, venomously as the bell rings.
Johnny huffs out a sigh.
If anything, he just made Bianca resent him even more.
