Hey guys! RGQC back here with another chapter for all to enjoy! And man, as of 23/07/21 at the start of this writing, this story has 390 Followers and 318 Favourites! This story alone had made it into my top projects to write on alone! I actually want to see if we can reach around 500 Followers and Favs. That would be great! Really great. Anyways, we have comments to address and some are quite important to address.

Triscythe59: Yes, we do triscythe59. Also, can I also say that I'm a big fan of your content, and it means a whole lot to me that you enjoyed my content. So, thanks for sticking by. It means a lot to me.

SkyChaser17: Yes. Lostbelt Morgan is present now in the story and I have BIG IDEAS when the time comes! And I agree with you that I have to be very careful with the plot now that she is involved. As for the introduction of new servants or getting Mordred some new clothing? Eh I'll think about it yea?

M2R: Sounds about right. Morgan is only interested in ruling Britain and that includes protecting it. Should the residence of Remnant threaten her home? Well… They're fucked. She won't hold back.

Zekken182: Oh god oh fuck! It's Morgan!

Lance Eternal: Me too when the time comes and it's going to be very interesting when it happens.

Zet4: As for spoilers? I'll try my best to keep it to a minimum. After all, this is mainly focusing on Mordred in Remnant and the shenanigans Mordred gets herself in.

Ptl: And it's gonna be a blast!

VGBlackwing: You also forgot that Rider Medusa also drains blood to get mana. Just a tip I suppose.

Alexander of the imperial Fist: And reading your helpful comments does the same for me. And thanks for the tip btw, they are quite helpful indeed!

UnknownEnemy1234: Yea I intend for Mordred to get a party together in the future. Hopefully… Maybe...

SkullWolfSteam: I'm glad that you are enjoying this story as it was for me writing it. And I agree wholeheartedly that things are now going to get more interesting now that Morgan is involved in Remnant's affairs.

Z: Estoy usando el traductor de Google para esto, así que perdóname si te suena extraño. Pero sí, puedes decirlo así. Todo gracias a ese vampiro. (Using google translate to answer his question.)

DavianThule19: Yea, once Mordred gets either the relics or the powers of the Maiden's, things are going to go off the rails due to an infinite power from the relics or Maiden powers. Probably. Ah yes shit going down means it's all a gas leak! Nothing suspicious going on here! Just move on! Introducing Grimm Servants? Dear god... That's… horrifying.

ZeaDragon: It should be an interesting sight. Probably but knowing Morgan, she would oppress both humanity and Faunus alike. I think.

Alexc123: Yup! Thx for approving my idea.

Sugoijack9: If that's the case, Remnant is so fucked. But time will tell, yes?

Runningstar bloodrage: Yup and I have plans when that happens. Can you imagine a rivalry between Mordred and Fae Tristan over Morgan?

For those asking about Grimm is magic and yes Mordred can absorb it however, let's just say that there's a reason why Danzou chose to drain aura from huntsman instead of consuming the magic from the Grimm. More detail would be given in this chapter.

For those who have complained and left due to my decision to include Servants into my story, well… I'm sorry that you felt this way but I felt that if we just have Mordred alone in Remnant. I find that the story would get stale if Mordred crushed everyone who goes against her. So, including Servants into this story is my way of 'balancing the conflict.'

And we are done talking about comments, let's get back into the story, yes?

As with my other works, I do not own RWBY or any of the Fate series. All of them belong to their respective owners as such.

Chapter 4

The Winds of Fate

Leon POV

Leon's office was in a mess, pieces of paper were all over the place as he sat on his chair and tried his best to make sense of the situation. First, an explosive shockwave of sorts had occurred last night that woke up everyone. Including him. Next was that it was caused by two unknown individuals that were fighting in the middle of a field in Mistral.

Ozpin then called early in the morning to ask about the situation and whether he needed help with this case. He declined his 'friend's' help and assured him that the situation was under control and that Ozpin doesn't need to help him out.

He doesn't need Ozpin to investigate this situation as he knows that this would no doubt get attention to himself and, he doesn't need more since Salem promised to spare him as long as he helped her. It hurts him to betray his dear friend but what could he do? Salem is unkillable and Ozpin is fighting a losing war. Why risk his life fighting over something that cannot be overcome?

Yet as Leon gathers the reports about this incident last night, he could only come to one conclusion. Whoever these two individuals are, they are stronger and faster than any huntsman he'd ever known. He couldn't close an eye on it as last night's incident had caused panic and confusion and if it wasn't for those two who wiped the hordes of Grimm. Mistral would itself be under siege from the Grimm.

Yet some of the information which was gathered early by the Mistran authorities and were shared with him were… for a better word, strange.

They found fragments of what looks to be like wooden missiles when fixed together? Who uses wood to make missiles? They also found some metal fragments but they seemed to degrade into nothing at extreme speeds when the authorities tried to take them for study. It boggles their mind including his as there's no such metal that degrades that quickly into nothing. But the most interesting thing was the blood sample they found within the site itself.

It would take a while to figure out who's blood this belongs to but it should help them find the culprit in time. But Leon could help but fear like the cowardly lion he is, whoever those two were, if they alone could do that much damage by themselves. There has to be no one else like them, right?

How foolish he is...

Mordred POV

I have to admit to myself. I can never get used to fighting at all. Last night's fight against Danzou just proves it further. While I can fight and overpower them with just brute strength, I doubt that I would fare any better against the more experienced Servants should they show up.

I need to learn tactics on how to fight. With me already gaining the knowledge on how to fight from Mordred's body, I still need to hide my Servant-like origins from the world. That would be extremely bad should my Servant's origins leak out.

Especially Ozpin.

That immortal wizard would no doubt see me as a threat. Even more so should I possess the Relic of Knowledge after getting it with Raven's help. Oh, and I cannot forget Salem. A part of me can't help but be fearful of what should happen if Salem detects my presence...

After all, I'm alive here due to that bloody vampire's machinations and it does not help that I'm full of magical energy. Would she just drain me till I vanish from this world? Or would she do to me what she did to herself and drown me in the Grimm pools? What would then happen to me?

"No No! Too early to think about that! I got to focus on the present and prepare myself to hunt for Raven!" I shook my head as I thought to myself as I arrived back at my hotel to pick up my sword to send it for repairs.

Though…. should I get a gun? I mean, I have no experience in shooting one myself but having one would be helpful since pretty much everything in this world is a bloody gun for some reason. Well… Not all now that I thought through it, some like Qrow and Jaune's weapons are entirely melee focused.

Or do I even need one to begin with since I could get to their faces with no issues. And it doesn't help that I would just yeet my sword or Clarent at them. Though, that's Mordred's thing. Not mine.

I need more time to think I suppose…

It took a while going through Mistral in search for a weapon shop but I did after a while of traveling through the valleys near Haven Academy. Though at some points I have to get off my bike and carry it over some stairs due to the paths being way too steep for my liking. And like hell I am going to wreck my new bike in just a day!

Now that I think of it, it does look rather comical to see this rather young girl carrying a motorbike in her arms, and in fact, I saw a couple of whispers or bizarre looks on their faces which amused me somewhat. But I don't care about what they thought about it. Heck! I could see some Haven students in their uniform walking through the streets with their black with white lining uniforms.

It didn't take me long for me to enter a weapons stall named and I quote. 'Mistral Huntsman Weapons' (I suck at making stall names, ok?)

Talk about shitty naming. I could only laugh internally as I entered the shop and there's weapons everywhere. Swords, axes, halberds, shields and even hybrid weapons and man there are a ton of them. They really do love their hybrid weapons, eh?

At another corner of the stall itself contains a wide selection of dust ammo in a glass box. I swear, if someone were to shoot at those rather exposed ammo. Shits gonna blow. But I'm getting distracted again and so I walked over to the cashier which was a man with green hair. I should really get used to the fact people in this world have natural coloured hair or eyes, just like an anime character with their physics defying hairstyles and colour.

Well, that is hypocritical of me. Right now, I'm in the body of an anime character...

"What can I do for ya?" The cashier asked as he put down his scroll and gave his full attention to me.

"Well, I have this blade that needs repairs." I said as I pulled out the sword which at this point was rather dull and the tip of it was chipped off by yours truly.

I then passed to the man who took it for a closer look as he observed the edges of the blade itself as well as the tip of the blade which was chipped off all while shaking his head.

"Jeeze, I've never seen a blade this worn and damaged, what the hell did ya do with it? Did you use it like a club?" He asked rhetorically as I could only look away with a sheepish look on my face as he sighs and smirks.

"No matter, but sheesh. This is going to take a while to fix up." He muttered as I took out my scabbard and passed it to him as he sheathed my sword into it.

"How long?" I asked.

"Well, the damage is extensive and the blade is dulled. This sword of yours would need some reforging to fix it up. Good thing that there are not many customers here recently, so I estimate by a day or two to reforge your blade." He spoke with relief as he placed the scabbard underneath his table before he continued. "How about you have a look around? That would give me some time to work up the payments for your sword, ok?" He said as I let out a soft grunt while nodding at him. I then walked around the store and began observing all sorts of weapons they had in here.

"The amount of weapon variety is rather… astronomical." I thought to myself as I picked up one of the longswords on a stand and began observing the finer details of it. It was then that someone or rather, two people I know came into this store and my luck is as terrible as always.

"I mean two people fighting at night and causing a shockwave that caused the entire of Mistral to wake up? How does that even happen?" The blue haired boy spoke.

"I dunno about that but man, that shockwave hurt my ears last night." The blond-coloured hair man with an unbuttoned shirt as well as a monkey tail shrugged as both he and his partner entered the shop while Mordred was in the corner panicking a bit.

"Sun?! Neptune?! Here?! What are the chances? Hopefully they just ign-" I thought to myself only to be interrupted when Neptune spoke.

"Hey isn't that the girl that was rumoured to have eaten three bowls of ramen in one go?" Though I doubt they noticed it, I flinched slightly when he mentioned that I am a girl.

"Mmm… Messy ponytail, red jacket, jean shorts and boots. Yep, that's her alright." Sun observed before nodding his head.

"I'm going to say hi to her, want to come along?" Sun asked as his friend shrugged in response and followed along.

Knowing Neptune, he's probably gonna flirt with me when he gets here. This is so weird for me, who was once a guy but now a cute girl who can kick his ass.

Why did I call myself cute?

"Eh whatever." I thought to myself before placing the longsword where I found it before addressing part of team Hot 'N' Useless.

"Can I help you?" I then asked them both while I gave them my full attention. Apparently, they were taken back by my appearance. Not that I could blame them or anything. Mordred's look is unique among the Saberfaces.

Doesn't help that I look like I'm 15 and quite the looker despite the fact that mentally, I'm in my early twenties.

"Well, she looked way more beautiful than I expected." Sun muttered to his friend but I heard it all thanks to me being a Servant. That caused my face to blush slightly but it was not obvious thankfully.

"I agree. We should say something instead of keeping her waiting." Neptune then whispered back as I continued to stand and wait until they decided to speak to me again.

"Right. Err, hi there, my name is Sun and this is my friend Neptune. A pleasure to meet you." Sun spoke out as he introduced his friend. He then sticks out his hand for me to shake, but I just stare at his hand. Well, it should be fine I suppose.

I then grabbed his hand and shook it before I introduced myself. "Ok then, and I'm Saber, how can I help you?"

"Saber? That's not your name, isn't it?" Sun tilted his head slightly as Neptune had a confused look on his face as he shook my hand.

"I prefer not using my real name for my own safety. So, I called myself Saber." I explained.

"It's like your code name, right?" Sun then asked as I nodded.

"Yup something like that. Now what can I do for you?" I then asked with Mordred's signature grin but it was then that Neptune does his flirting.

"Hey, are you the blond beauty of rumour? How enchantingly gorgeous." He said as I internally cringed. He needs to work on his flirting honesty. How did Weiss get a crush on him again? Or was it because I was a guy once?

No matter. I have other things to worry about.

My grin became forced as my right eyes started twitching slowly, thankfully neither of them noticed it. "So, what are you doing here?" I then asked to change the topic quickly as I really don't wish to punch Neptune in the face for his attempt to flirt with me. As much as the Mordred inside of me really wants to do it.

"Well, we needed to get some ammo for our weapons. What about you?" Neptune then asked.

"My sword looks like it's going to shatter any second now. So, I have to send it some serious reforging." I admitted as I looked away with a tinge of embarrassment.

"Really now? Are you a student of Haven?" Neptune then asked as I shook my head in disagreement.

"No, I'm not. I suppose you could classify me as a traveller of sorts. I go from place to place while occasionally picking up jobs. Besides, I just arrived here yesterday." I lied as both of them acknowledged what I said before whispering to each other.

"She travels the world by herself? She must have seen a lot." Neptune whispered.

"And she looks really young. I guess she's in her early teens." Sun then added in as the cashier called me over.

"Ok! You can come over here now!" He called out.

"Oh, guess it's time for me to sort it out." I said as I walked past them and towards the cashier.

"So do I pay ya the full price on the spot or do you prefer for me to pay 50% of it first and the rest once the job is done?" I then asked as Sun and Neptune began to browse the goods in the background.

"Yea, just pay me half of it first. The rest you can pay once I'm done with your sword." He said as I pulled out some Lien and handed it to him.

"Here, I should be going now, you got other customers to handle." I said as I pointed my thumb over my shoulder at Sun and Neptune who were too busy talking about something I don't care about.

The cashier nodded as I then turned and made my way to the door. "Alright Sun and Neptune. It was a pleasure meeting both of you. See ya soon." I waved them off as I exited the store.

Yet, I can't help but let a small smile on my face as I left the shop. Seeing them face to face and actually interacting with them makes me want to see team RWBY personally. And perhaps, I could be friends with them…

No. I can't afford to be distracted by them; they would be unprepared at the fact that Servants are here now. I need my own team if I were to stand a chance against Salem or the other possible hostile Servants that I could encounter in Remnant. And there's the issue with Danzou and her lord. Sooner or later, I would meet her again. But it still bothers me on who her master could be.

"Ah… I better stop thinking too much, I'll have migraines at this rate." I thought to myself as I got onto my bike and sped down the streets before I encountered a musical festival going on. I wonder… Is today supposed to be a regular event for Mistral? You'd think that after last night's incident they would call it off.

Eh, I suppose I should indulge in its culture for a while. And with that, I took a detour towards the festival that was going on despite what had occurred the night before.

It was beautiful. Sakura trees could be blooming with their pink flowers as people could be seen dressed in clothing that could only be seen in traditional Japan. In fact, I always wanted to see Sakura trees back on Earth. Funny how it's in Remnant that I get to see one blooming in person. And I can help but give a genuine smile ever since I got stuck in Remnant about a day ago. Though it sucks that I have to experience it alone and not with those I cared about.

I mean how could I? I missed everyone back at home dearly but I know in my heart that I have to push on with or without them. But enough ruining the mood, they have vendors giving out free food! Sign me up!

1 hour later of 'taste testing'

Let's just say I got carried away with the food and festival. I mean who am I to reject such generosity that they are giving to me? There were also games for us to play! In short, I was like a child in a candy store. I think it probably looks like a pre-teen having too much fun but man. This is a stress reliever.

It was then I encountered a stadium that was decently crowded as well as some performers with musical instruments. Even more interesting was that there's a sign that says something about audience participation. In fact, I could see a girl standing with the performers singing to her heart's content.

I couldn't help myself but join the crowd and listen through the entire song that was a mixture of classical symphony as well as traditional that fits well somehow. Either that or I have a terrible taste in music. It didn't take long for her to finish singing it as they began to call out for another person to try it. And much to my reluctance to go out over fears of attracting attention to myself. Mordred's refusal to say no to a challenge won out inside me and I volunteered much to my attempts not to.

"I'll do it!" I yelled out as I stood up and raised my hand.

"Well come onto the stage!" One of the band boys said through the mic as I began walking down the stairs of the stands and towards the main theatre itself as various observers looked upon me with interest. Several of the audience members were even sent whistles my way which I'd ignored much to their disappointment. Sucks to be them.

Heh… This should be interesting…

"May we know your name?" The band member, who I guess is the leader of the group, asked.

"Just call me Saber." I said as he nodded before I asked again.

"So, how's this supposed to go?" I asked as one kindly explained to me as I rested my hands on my hips.

"Well then you suggest the type of music you wish to sing. It could be any type of music. Classical, heavy metal, you name it, we got it. If not, we would improvise it on the spot and follow your lead. If you have a song you wish to share with everyone, my buddy here can use his Semblance to share the exact details of the song you wished to sing to everyone." A man in his late teens explained as I paid attention with my hand on my chin.

"Interesting… Ah! I got one!" I thought to myself before I got an idea of what song to sing. Since I've no idea what types of songs there are in Remnant. I'll borrow one from my world. Besides I'm pretty sure copyright doesn't apply if you are in another world.

"Ok, do your thing." I said as they all nodded as one of them approached and rested his hand on my forehead as he began to glow violet. It took less than a second for him to remove his hand from my forehead as he addressed his friends with an ecstatic look on his face."

"Guys! She has a song that I think everyone here would love! You got to hear it!" He spoke with such enthusiasm as his comrades looked at him before shrugging. He then placed his hand on his comrades one by one as I looked at the audience and man. They looked really curious as to why one of the band members looked pretty ecstatic.

"Fascinating…" Their drummer muttered out loud when he had the song implanted into his head.

"Shall we, do it?" I asked as the band nodded before running off to get the necessary instruments. In fact, the audience were getting pretty restless. And I couldn't blame them.

It took like a minute for them to get the instrument they needed with the help of some of the staff members. But by then, the crowd could be heard cheering for it to start. Though…

I'm a nervous wreck right now! I've never been in this kind of situation before! In fact, the only reason I did not collapse due to my nervousness was because of Mordred's own confidence which I am glad for. I think I also saw some cameras pointing directly at me. Please don't tell me that this is going to be broadcast all over the world…

Ah fuck it. I got myself into this situation. Might as well see it through. And with that, I took in a deep breath before looking at the band crew with me and they were clearly ready and waiting for my orders to start the show.

"And they shall have it." I muttered to myself as I put on Mordred's signature grin as I snatched the mic from its stand and yelled into it. "We waited long enough, have we? Now I ask you? Are. You. Ready?!"

"YEAH!" The crowd cheers back at me.

"Then let us begin! Hit it!" I yelled back as I pointed at one of the band members who nodded back with his very own grin.

"Thank you LiSA for this song and let's give this world a taste of J pop!" I quickly thanked as the electric guitar started.

As I sang through the entire song, the nervousness within me vanished as it was replaced with confidence and the desire to sing it out loud for all to hear. Flashes of light can be seen among the crowds as many of them began recording or taking photos of me as I held onto the mic as I walked across the stadium while occasionally throwing gestures at the audience or twirling. And all with a smile on my face.

Funnily enough, I did not fuck it up. I expected myself to make a blunder or even stutter while singing yet as I sang, it felt so natural and strange. I don't remember Mordred being the singing type. She is more of the I'll punch you in the face type of person. A bit like Yang now that I think about it.

Though I wasn't aware, it appears that the camera pointing at me was not only for Mistral. And as I feared, it was broadcasted all over the world and at the same time. Some students were currently watching me as of yet in Beacon.

At Beacon Academy...

"That was awesome! She sings so well!" Ruby cheered out as her team plus JNPR were watching Mordred perform because Pyrrha suggested they tuned in to the music festival that was going on back at Mistral.

"Must it be so loud and hectic?" Weiss moaned as she rubbed her ears. Yang, Jaune, Nora however could be seen bobbing their heads as they followed the beats and Mordred's voice as she sang out loud.

"Yup. Besides, Ruby clearly likes it and so do I. Got to admit. Blondie here is a cutie." Yang then joins in.

"She looks no older than Ruby Yang." Blake then pointed out.

"Renny! We should make our own song and perform for everyone!" Nora proceeds to yell out as Ren then spoke.

"Then we would need to get a team."

"Oh, Jaune and Pyrrha could help us!"

"Nora no."

"Aww… Please Ren Ren?"

"I've never seen her before. She must be new to Mistral? Or is she from a village before she moved over?" Pyrrha then wondered to herself as she rubbed her chin.

"Besides, who would wear such outfits?" Weiss then criticized Mordred's choice of clothing because of course she would.

In Vale…

A tanned man with white hair could be seen working in the café as the music festival was being played on the screen. He then noticed a young woman in a white tube top, a crimson leather jacket, short jeans and boots. Yet it was her face that intrigued him. She looked very similar to someone he knew but he just couldn't put his finger into it.

"It must be my imagination." He thought to himself as he went back to work. There are way more customers here than usual. Whoever she was, she's a good singer he had to admit as everyone in the café is clearly enticed by the girl's singing.

In Atlas…

A young blond woman with Braided hair could be seen wandering the streets of Atlas in a dress as she wondered to herself, what brought her here? It has been months since she was summoned in a place up north and in a city called Atlas. Then there's the fact that there was no information of her summoning. She just found herself in an alleyway.

It took a while for her to get used to the cold environment of Atlas as well as learn as to where she was exactly. Then she learned that there's a subspecies of humans called Faunus that were seen as second-rate citizens. It hurts her to see them cast aside due to discrimination that she'd never heard of. As a result of that, she did all she could to help them.

Yet as she walked through the streets, there was a TV screen currently showing the musical festival going on in Mistral and then she noticed someone she's familiar with.

"Saber of Red?"

Back to Mordred.

After that one hell of a show, I performed. I was getting rewarded for it much to my surprise! Turns out, I attracted a massive amount of attention online and people who attend at the stadium. And out of the rest of the people who participated, I was voted as the most popular out of anyone else. So, I was rewarded with a rather large amount of Lien. Though I think it was due to my C- Charisma in action, not that I was going to complain about free money.

I soon took leave from the festival as I needed to hunt Raven. But first I need to test a theory of mine. Since Grimm is technically magic, I should be able to syphon off it right? But Danzou clearly stated that she only consumed aura in her time here, has she not tried draining Grimm before or does she know that something was wrong with it? No matter what, I think it's best to see the results best. Worst case I get corrupted. Right? Now that I think about it, how am I supposed to find Raven's camp? Do I just try to sense the magic within her?

And so, a couple of hours later, I was on my motorbike driving through the forest in my attempt to find either Grimm to test whether I could syphon magic from them or find Raven's camp to trash it. I might have to kill some of Raven's tribesmen to 'convince' her. Man. I've never killed a single person in my life and here I am, talking about how I need to kill a couple of tribesmen to convince Raven to come with me and open up the vault.

I hate it. I hate it so much!

With my hatred of what I am slowly becoming. It attracted a Nevermore which let out a screech as it sent its feathers towards me. Seeing this, I swerved to the side to avoid the incoming feathers before parking my bike in a bush and running off to the open to attract the Nevermore. It worked as the Nevermore then swooped down with the intention of attacking me with its beak.

That was the last mistake it would ever make in its lifetime. As it swoops down towards me, I summoned Clarent onto my hand while reverse gripping it before dashing forward and slicing it horizontally in half through its mouth. All with a sly grin on my face as it crashed on a tree in its path.

"Hehe. Stupid bird." I chuckled to myself as I approached the Nevermore corpse as it slowly began to disintegrate. Now how am I supposed to syphon it? Or do I touch it? With me unsure as to what to do, I reached my hand out and rested gently on the Nevermores' corpse, at the same time, I closed my eyes as I imagined myself draining it of it's magic.

As I imagine the process in my head, it worked, but not in the way I expected it. Instead of feeling rejuvenated, I felt pain coursing through my hand. My eyes shot open as I retracted my hand from the Nevermore's corpse. That wasn't the only thing that happened.

"The in the-?!" Those were the words that came out of my mouth as I noticed my veins in my hand turned black as it began to spread, and the pain. It began to spread all over my arm. I wasn't aware of it at the time but, my skin had gotten a hell lot paler as well as that my hair started turning Platinum blonde. Even though I couldn't see it, my eyes started to change to yellow.

The next thing I knew was that I started to feel nauseous as I leaned against a tree nearby as the pain spread all over my body. I could only collapse as I began to groan in pain. It was excruciating, as if my very being is being attacked and consumed!

Is dark magic unsuitable for Servants? Or is it similar to the Blackening effect in the Fate universe? If so, that means mistakes were made. It took only seconds for the pain to finally spread to my head and I could only cry out in pain as I clutched my head.

"AHHHHH! PAIN! PAIN! PAIN! PAIN!" I can't help but cry out as I collapse onto the grassy floors as my vision continues to get blurry. Even worse was that something or someone was whispering in my damn head like an earworm but I can't even understand it! It's all jumbled up!

"The fuck was that?!" I could only barely ask myself as I continued to cry out from the constant pain inside me.

I wasn't sure how long I was in agonizing pain from consuming dark magic, all I know that happened next was that I started to puke out black goo out of my system. At the same time, my appearance seemed to have slowly returned back to normal.

Gross.

I ended up spending a good while puking out black goo underneath a tree until the pain stopped, and I stopped feeling nauseous. At the same time, said black goo began to dissipate as if it was still Grimm.

Ugh. Lesson learned. No consuming Grimm essence to restore Magical energy. I prefer not suffering unnecessary pain from it.

It wasn't long till I got back onto my feet as I wiped the remaining black goo from my mouth with my hand as I began to mutter to myself. "Never doing that shit again." And with that, I went back on my Motorbike and drove off in my attempts to find Raven's camp.

I then began to try and sense Raven's magical presence, only to get nothing within where I am. Which sucks. And so, I spent hours trying to track Raven down till I did it eventually. It's miniscule and almost undetectable, as I'd forgotten that the Maiden's powers are only active when the user uses it. In short. Raven is currently not using her Maiden powers at all. And so, it's ridiculously difficult to sense her direct location, but I did eventually sense a trace of the Spring maiden's powers not too far from here.

With Raven's bandit camp found, all I need to do is to walk right in there and convince her to meet me at Haven. I parked my motorbike not too far from her camp but just far and hidden enough that her lackeys won't be able to find it. I then proceeded to summon my armour and Clarent and proceed to walk toward the Branwen tribe's main gate.

"There's no going back after this. No going back." I could only mutter to myself. Though I could sense eyes watching me as Raven's camp could be seen a distance away. Mordred's instinct then activates as it warns me something that I knew would happen sooner than later.

You are surrounded.

It was then in which several bandits came out of trees and surrounded me, at the same time, all of them drew their weapons and pointed directly at my head.

"Halt! That's far enough! You're surrounded!"

"That's all you're sending to amuse me?" I responded with disinterest in my tone.

"Amuse you?! You're the one walking in the forest in a suit of armour!" One of them retorted back at me.

"I was… expecting more to be honest." I admitted as I could tell that they were getting irritated at my disregard of them.

"Oh, we have more in the camp right at the back! So, it's best if you drop and run back to a museum or whatever!" The main leader of the bandit group yelled out as I began walking towards them.

"I said stop moving!" One of the bandits called out as she shot the ground near me. Admittingly, I flinched slightly when I heard the gunfire but my instinct told me that it was a warning shot. So, no issue I suppose.

"Oh? And you intend to stop me?" I dared them as I lifted Clarent and rested it on my shoulders all with a daring grin hiding within my helmet. Though I really don't want to kill. But, should I enter the camp covered in blood, they would know that I mean business.

"Fine! Have it your way then! Get him!" The bandit leader yelled out as all of them then attacked me as I did not hold back in the slightest as well as a joyful grin on my face. Many of them were quickly put down as Clarent cleaved them in half, and all this happened to such a degree that I doubt they had the time to react to any of my attacks.

Blood splatters on every surface near where we are as the trees and ground were covered in blood. I too had part of my armour covered in blood as Clarent had it dripping off it. God, I could smell all the blood in the vicinity and it's pungent and metallic. Yet I don't feel sick from the smell.

"Well, that was disappointing. I was expecting more from you bandits who believed that the strong lived and the weak die. Yet you all ambushed me like a bunch of cowards!" I scoffed. How the hell am I acting so casual about killing all of them?! Taking another life is wrong and I already drenched my hands in blood after a single day of my entry into Remnant?!

"What the hell are you?! Monster!" The last bandit who was still alive cried out in horror as he was understandably terrified after seeing all his pathetic excuse of a tribe man and woman cut down within a second and seeing me covered in blood. He attempted to make a run for it but I ain't letting him get away.

"Where the hell do you think you are going!?" I roared out as I dashed in and plunged Clarent through his back without a second thought much to my increasing horror at how I easily butchered those bandits.

"AGH!" He cried out as I used my arm and covered his mouth as I pushed Clarent deeper into his back as he desperately struggled to get off my grip as blood continued to pour out from his wound.

"Shut it bandit. You raid innocent villages while plundering and enslaving the survivors. You won't get any mercy from me." I growled into his ear as his eyes widened before he went limp.

I then could only remove Clarent from his body with a sickening squelch as he dropped dead at my feet. I then can't help myself but stare at the corpses of the bandit's whose lives I've so casually taken away from them.

I...

I murdered them but they attacked me. This is considered self-defence, right?

Right?

Why don't I feel guilty for them? They probably have family or friends. And now they lay dead.

"Killing them was the right thing to do, they murdered countless innocents and left the others for the Grimm to finish them off! Death is merciful of what you could have done to them." I told myself. Was I justifying my actions at killing them? Or was I just trying to convince myself that I did the right thing?

Damn it…

"I am so going to hell for this..." I muttered with sorrow before I narrowed my eyes on Raven's camp. "Raven, I'm coming for you." And with that I ran full speed towards the Branwen Tribe's entrance with the head of a bandit as a suitable example to the rest of them much to my disgust at my own actions that I have to take.

1 minutes later…

I've finally reached the camp's entrance and much to my surprise, there wasn't anyone guarding the gate.

At all.

Strange… Are they in a meeting or something? Who cares! Raven's coming with me or I drag her to the Vault myself. And with that, I do what some people would call a pro gamer move.

Knock knock knock knock knock, knock CRUNCH!

Yup. Everyone could definitely hear me literally punch their flimsy gate open before walking in like I own the damn place. I then proceeded to yell to the crowds of bandits who grabbed their weapons to prepare for combat as I threw the decapitated head I had with me.

"So, this is the campsite of the Branwen Tribe! I'm not impressed in the slightest! Take me to your boss, or I'll kill you one by one till she comes here!" And with that, I could tell that some were terrified of me. Can't blame them, as I too would freak out if some bloodied knight came barging through my house.

Except I'm that knight.

Apparently one of them didn't like my threat to his boss and tried to attack me with his sword with predictable results as he swung for my neck. I instantly deflected his strike before grabbing him in the throat and lifting him into the air, all while as every single bandit watched as I then proceeded to kill him on the spot by crushing his throat.

CRACK!

I then dropped the corpse onto the ground as I addressed the rest of the tribe who did the right thing and not attack me. "You claimed to be a strong tribe yet all of you quiver in fear when fighting against me! What are you?! Sheep or wolves?!" I roared as I kicked the corpse back at them as some of them dodged to the side to avoid the flying corpse of their comrade.

It was then in which I recognized the very same woman I met yesterday with her mask and everything as well as Vernal beside her as she walked towards me.

"Raven, about time… This won't be like last time." I muttered to myself as I faced her.

Morgan was both intrigued and concerned about this new world as she listened to Danzou who told her everything she knew. These black creatures that dare to attack her realm are called Grimm and that this world contains both humans and a sub-species of them called Faunus which possesses one animal trait.

This concerns her. Should any of her people find out that this new world possesses humans and a subspecies to enslave and consume, it could threaten her rule like they had done countless times before. She must cut out this anomaly lest the Faes get wind of it and attempt to get into that world.

Danzou also pointed out that the humanity over there is way more advanced compared to what they have. The humans seemed to possess portable devices as well as hybrid weaponry that combine range and melee. This also intrigued Morgan about how they are different from the humans under her rule.

It was then that Tristan could be seen entering the throne room with a rather bored look on her face before she muttered. "These things die too quickly for my liking. I honestly thought that I could have fun with them and they don't even bleed!" She then pouted as she walked and stood next to Morgan.

"Tristan, Danzou here has revealed that those creatures are called Grimm." Gawain then spoke.

"A suitable name for those magical beasts that shall fall before mother. If nothing else I shall kill all of them and teach them fear myself." Tristan proceeds to giggle sadistically as Morgan could be seen thinking to herself.

"Danzou. You are to track and keep an eye on Mordred for me. Report to me if she does anything that would be of interest."

"It will be done my lord." Danzou spoke as she disappeared.

"The rest of you, follow me. There's much to be done." And with that, Morgan walked out of her throne room as her three fairy knights followed her.

And we are done! With this chapter!

Anyways this chapter was meant to introduce some new characters that I have no doubt that you'll all recognize well enough. I've also taken the time to introduce some of the RWBY characters.

There's also a small number of hints of Mordred's next potential visits after she retrieves the Relic of Knowledge. I'll let you all figure it out. Oh! And I want to know if you guys would like to see some mini-chapters related to everyone else dealing with Mordred's shenanigans? Like a chapter related to Morgan or the others?

I don't have much else to say except that I got my second dose of the vaccine and was sick for a day or so. Yay! A day of being stuck on the bed!
