Title: The Future of the league

Summary: The League and their family members are sent to the future where they learn that the future league is danger, and they need their help
Chapter 9
Washington DC; March 3, 2045
John Jonzz, Hal and Billy Batson are flying over the streets of Washington looking for Holly Hex. From what Tomas had told them Holly was not only new to being a Green Lantern but also new to being hero.
They had learned that she had got the lantern ring one day walking home from work one day. The ring was trying to escape from a yellow lantern that wanted to capture it. The ring found that Holly had great willpower more that most Lantern had today.
Unfortunately, it came at a bad time for her to learn how to use it because a yellow lantern also found holly and was ready to kill her. If it was not for Thomas and the other hero's holly would not be alive today.
Holly was walking down the street listening to her music unaware that people were searching for her. Holly was a young 21-year-old Latina woman with long brown and brown eyes. She was an assist at a law firm not to mention she was a hero in training.
Right now, Holly was digging into her purse to find her phone as she kept on walking, she was unaware of the three heroes that have landed right in front of her. There standing in front of her were three men one dress kind of like superman with a lightning bolt on his chest, one in an old green lantern custom and a green skin alien.
"Can I help you" Holly asked kind of scared of the people in front of here. Her hand already putting on her lantern ring in case of a fight.
"Please do not be alarm we are not here to hurt you" John said
"How did you know what I was thinking" Holly asked bewildered
"It is something that he does a lot" Hal said "But we are here because we need you help"
"I am sorry I think you have the wrong person" Holly said walking past them "There are better more train heroes on this plant than me you should ask one of them"
"You wear a lantern ring surely you are a great hero" Billy says to her.
"I didn't even want this ring it just came to me one day out of the blue" Holly says turning around to look at them "It made a mistake choosing me I am no hero I am just a normal person trying to live a normal life that is it."
"Well, you're wrong" Hal told her "That ring choose you because you have strong will power and that is something most people do not have"
'Listen I am not hero; I have only been doing this hero stuff for about a couple of months and I keep making mistakes" Holly tells them
John put his hand on her shoulder and looked her in the eyes "Being means making mistake but it also means learning from those mistakes."
"Everybody makes mistake, But the reason we wear these rings is because our will power is strong than any person on this planet" Hal said.
Holly stared at all three men wondering if they had a point, she was always strong headed letting nothing stop. Maybe the ring did choose her for this, and it was no mistake at all maybe one day she can be a great hero.
"Ok, I guess you are right this ring choose me to do good so I should start doing it more" Holly told them
"Great now back to Wayne Manors to meet up with the other" Billy said
"The others it has been a while since I have seen them" Holly said as Hal left everyone in the sky
"I am getting that you are not as close to the others as everyone else is" John says
"The rest of league grow up together and have known each other there whole life, I have only known them for about a year and a half sometimes I feel like the outcast" Holly said.
"How did you meet the others" Billy says
"Well one day when I was walking home the ring appear out of the sky" Holly said "I was shocked, but I did not have time to process because the next thing I knew a monster with a yellow ring started attacking me"
"Sinestro crops" Hal said with venom in his voice
"The monster keeps chasing after me demanding I give him the ring, or he will kill me" Holly says "The thing trap me in a corner, and I thought it was going to kill me, but the others save me and since then they have been teaching me all about being a hero"
"Well now they need your help" Hal told them as they were heading towards Wayne Manor
"Let's hope so" Holly said under her breath
