Junior

Robert was looking at his watch as he, Sharon, and Ruby were waiting for Virgil.

"Where is he, girls?" Robert asked impatiently.

"Don't worry, daddy. Virgil wouldn't miss this for the world." Sharon said.

Ruby was wearing a red long-sleeved collared shirt, black pants, black flats, and white pearl earrings. She also had her hair in a ponytail.

"Yeah, I guess this center does mean a lot to him." Robert said as they were revealed to be outside of the Community Center with a lot of people wearing suits and dresses.

"Almost as much as it means to me." Robert said.

"And almost as much as the free food." Sharon said as she pointed at Robert's stomach.

This made Ruby giggle with her hand covering her mouth as Sharon walked away with Robert looking at Sharon with an annoyed expression.

"It's okay, Uncle Robert. I'm sure Virgil will make it. Like me, I wouldn't miss my parents' anniversary for the world." Ruby said.

"I know you wouldn't because your parents mean so much to you, including me." Robert said.

"And I know they would've loved to be here today." Ruby said with a smile.

Ruby was taking a day off from being Magnetta so she can spend more time at the Community Center with Robert and Sharon today. She wasn't worried about taking a break as she knew Dakota can last a day without her since the Ulti-Meta Gang can patrol Dakota for today. Virgil was okay with Ruby taking a break. Ruby thought that Virgil should take a day off from being Static too, but he refused. However, he promised that he'll be at the Community Center as soon as possible. That's what was making her worry. Ever since Virgil became a Bang Baby, he was becoming more irresponsible. Ruby made sure that she kept being responsible ever since she became Magnetta.

A few minutes later, the Mayor walked toward Robert, Sharon, and Ruby.

"We've gotta get started, Robert." The Mayor said.

Robert looked at his watch and sighed.

"I guess we do." Robert said as he walked away.

The Mayor walked toward a stand with a microphone as she stood behind the Gymnasium with the audience clapping.

"Welcome to the dedication of the newest addition to the Freeman Community Center. Without further ado, let me introduce you to the man who is responsible for this wonderful new facility. Edwin Alva." The Mayor said as Edwin Alva walked toward the microphone with a wave.

The audience clapped as the Mayor walked away while clapping with the audience.

"Thank you, Madame Mayor. It was my pleasure to fund this new addition. But what I build here isn't a monument of stone. It's an investment in our child's future." Edwin Alva said as the audience clapped, a man walking toward him with a giant pair of scissors.

Robert looked back and saw that Virgil was still not here. Ruby saw this and she got worried too.

'You better here quick, Virgil.' Ruby thought.

Edwin Alva grabbed the scissors and cut the ribbon as he walked toward the Gymnasium and opened the doors.

"Welcome to the Edwin Alva Gymnasium." Edwin Alva said as everyone clapped while walking inside.

Robert, Sharon, and Ruby stayed behind as Robert looked behind and then looked at his watch. While Sharon and Ruby looked at Robert.

"Come on, dad. He must have a good reason." Sharon said as she put her arm around Robert.

"He'd better." Robert said.

"Easier said than done." Ruby whispered to herself with a frown.

A few minutes later, everyone was inside the Gymnasium talking to each other while getting some food or water. Robert, Sharon, Ruby, and the Mayor were talking with the girls holding glasses of water. Shelly Sandoval and a cameraman were walking around until they saw Alva's son, Edwin Alva Jr. on his PDA swiping his pen on the screen as they walked toward him.

"You must be very proud of your dad today." Shelly Sandoval said as she held the microphone at Alva Jr.

"Huh? Yeah, this is way better than when he was on TV after the grand jury hearing." Alva Jr. said.

However, all of the people overheard what he said as they gasped and looked at him. Alva Jr. looked up as he realized his mistake.

"That is, I mean..." Alva Jr. said nervously but didn't know what to say.

Everyone looked at him with shocked expressions as Alva Jr. was sweating with his mouth open. Fortunately, Edwin Alva walked toward his son.

"(Laugh) He means that the system works. All charges were dropped, and I'm free to donate the occasional gymnasium to my new charges. The children of Dakota." Edwin Alva explained with his hands on Alva Jr.'s shoulders.

The Alvas walked away with Edwin Alva's arm around his son.

"Unbelievable." Edwin Alva said as he and Alva Jr. stopped as he looked at his son with a stern expression.

"It's safer letting the guard dogs off their leash than you. Get out of my sight." Edwin Alva said sternly as Alva Jr. ran away with a scared expression.

While Edwin Alva just smiled and walked away. Meanwhile, Robert, Sharon, and Ruby were at a food table where Sharon and Ruby were putting some food on their plates as Virgil ran toward them while wearing a blue suit, black pants, and black formal shoes.

"Hi, Sharon and Ruby. Where's pops?" Virgil asked as Sharon and Ruby looked at him while Alva Jr. ran passed them.

"Run for it. We'll try to stall him." Ruby whispered as she and Sharon looked at Robert.

Unfortunately, Robert overheard Ruby as he had a stern expression.

"Ruby." Robert asked sternly.

"Too late." Sharon said as she walked away with her plate.

"You're on your own, Virgil." Ruby said as she followed Sharon with Robert turning around to face Virgil while she carried her plate with her.

"You see, what happened was..." Virgil tried to explain but Robert interrupt.

"No excuses, Virgil." Robert said.

"I'm really sorry, dad." Virgil said as he fixed his tie.

"For weeks, I've been watching you become more and more irresponsible. And now you don't even have time for the Community Center? Ruby, on the other hand, hasn't become irresponsible in the last few weeks and she even has time for the Community Center." Robert said sternly.

"Dad, it's not that. I was..." Virgil said but was interrupted by Robert.

"What?" Robert asked sternly.

"I..." Virgil tried to say something but sighed as he looked down.

Robert walked away with a stern expression as Virgil looked down with a frown. Ruby overheard their conversation as she looked at her cousin with a sad expression.

'If only it was that easy.' Ruby thought sadly.

In Ruby's room, Ruby was talking to Allie on the phone about what happened at the Community Center.

"That's right, Allie. Uncle Robert said that he's become irresponsible. At least I managed to not end up like Virgil." Ruby said on her phone.

"I guess it's not surprising. I mean, how do you tell him the reason why you're late if he doesn't know your secret identity?" Allie asked on her phone as she was laying on her bed.

"Tell me about it. At least I managed to find ways to spend more time with Uncle Robert and Cousin Sharon. If only it was easy for Virgil. He's having a bad mood today." Ruby said on her phone.

"Yeah, no doubt he's mad at Mr. Hawkins for saying that he's become irresponsible." Allie said on her phone.

"Anyway, I'm going to go on patrol with my cousin. I'm sure he'll need some company after everything he's been through today." Ruby said on her phone as she took her superhero costume out of her backpack.

Meanwhile, during their patrol, Static and Magnetta heard some explosions as they flew over the ocean to see a boat sinking.

"I was wondering what all that racket was." Static said as they flew toward the ship.

"Maybe a certain superhero can raise the Titanic." Static said as he fired a purple electric bolt from each of his hands to try and lift the ship.

However, it was too heavy as Static grunted and was pulled with it.

"Do superheroes get hernias?" Static asked as he undid his electric bolts.

"Don't worry, Static, I'll handle this." Magnetta said as she held out her hands.

Her hands glowed white along with the boat as she raised her hands to lift the boat with ease without straining herself. Static and Magnetta turned around as Static fired a purple electric bolt to cut out a metal square while Magnetta held out her hand to cut a metal circle. They both put the metal square and circle into the water.

"All aboard!" Static yelled as the people swam toward the metal square and circle.

"Alright, Static, you get these people back to dry land while I'll get the boat back to the docks for repairs." Magnetta said as she flew away while towing the boat with her by using her magnetic powers.

"No problem." Static said as he fired two electric bolts at the metal square and circle and towed the people onto a beach.

When he got the people onto the beach, Magnetta flew back to Static as she managed to get the ship back to the docks. The people clapped and cheered for Static and Magnetta.

"Thank you, thank you very much. You're too kind." Magnetta said.

"And when you tell your friends about this, skip the part where I tried to pick up the boat." Static said.

"But make sure to tell your friends that I managed to save the boat and send it back for repairs." Magnetta said with a smile.

"What do you think you're doing?" Alva Jr. asked as Static and Magnetta turned around and saw him flying while looking like he was invisible.

"I don't believe we've been introduced." Static said.

"Omnifarious." Alva Jr. said.

"You're Nefarious?" Static asked.

"No, Static, he said Omnifarious. It means many forms." Magnetta explained.

"She's right. It's also my name." Alva Jr. said.

"Guys, I go to public school. Latin's an elective." Static said.

"Why did you guys help those sailors? They work for Alva, they're gun smugglers." Alva Jr. said as he flew around Static and Magnetta.

"Look, I may hate guns more than anyone. But that doesn't mean we let them drown." Magnetta said.

"You telling us you did this?" Static asked as he pointed at Alva Jr.

"Uh-huh." Alva Jr. said as his body became visible.

"This too." Alva Jr. said as he fired two energy blasts at Static and Magnetta.

However, Static formed a purple electromagnetic shield and Magnetta surrounded herself in a magnetic field. One energy blast exploded when it hit Static's shield while the other energy blast was repelled by Magnetta's magnetic field.

Alva Jr. fired 8 more energy blasts as four hit Static's shield while the other four were repelled by Magnetta's magnetic field.

"Alright, that's plenty." Static said as he undid his shield while Magnetta deactivated her magnetic field.

"Now it's our turn." Magnetta said as she and Static threw their Nova Ball and Magna Ball at Alva Jr.

Alva Jr. fell to the ground before he got up as Static and Magnetta flew a few inches over the ground.

"You surprise me. Now it's my turn." Alva Jr. said as he popped one of the bubbles on his belt.

The bubble popped, releasing Bang Baby Gas as it surrounded him and made his body taller and more muscular. Static and Magnetta had shocked expressions.

'That gas. It looks just like the Bang Baby Gas from the Big Bang.' Magnetta thought.

Static fired a purple electric bolt at Alva Jr. but he held out his hand as Static's electric bolt didn't affect him. However, when Magnetta fired a white magnetic ray, it pushed Alva Jr. a few feet away. Alva Jr. ran toward Static and Magnetta and pounced on them as they rolled around the dirt before Static and Magnetta were on top of Alva Jr. Static and Magnetta stood up as they held up their fist. Static's fist glowed with purple electricity while Magnetta's fist glowed with white magnetic energy.

"We know you. You're Edwin Alva's son." Static said.

"I knew you looked familiar." Magnetta said.

"You have me at a disadvantage, at least for the moment." Alva Jr. said as he pushed away Static and Magnetta.

He popped another bubble on his belt with streams of Bang Baby Gas floating around him as his eyes glowed red. Static and Magnetta sat up as their masks faded in Alva Jr.'s vision.

"Now we're even." Alva Jr. said.

"You can see through our masks?" Static asked as he put his hands over his mask.

"Yep, I've got X-ray vision now." Alva Jr. said.

"Just like Superman." Magnetta said.

"But I can't place where we've met before." Alva Jr. said as Static freaked out.

"Oh, man. Before we fight again, I want a written list of all your powers and maybe a study guide." Static said as he and Magnetta stood up.

"I don't think that's possible." Magnetta said.

"Why is that?" Static asked.

"Did you see how he got different powers whenever he popped one of those bubbles on his belt?" Magnetta asked.

"Yeah, what about it?" Static asked.

"That gas inside those bubbles is Bang Baby Gas. He must be using them to give him different powers. That explains why he calls himself Omnifarious." Magnetta explained.

"What?" Static asked with a shocked expression.

"That's right. You really are a smart girl. Anyway, I better get going." Alva Jr. said as he got up.

"You may have been able to save the boat, but I'll be back." Alva Jr. said as he turned around and flew away.

"That went well." Static said angrily.

The next morning, Virgil and Ruby were sitting on the couch playing Sonic the Hedgehog 2 as Robert walked inside the living room.

"You got a minute?" Robert asked.

"We do, now." Virgil said as he and Ruby put away their controllers.

"Of course." Ruby said as Robert sat on the couch.

"I'm trying to figure out what's wrong with you lately, Virgil." Robert said.

"Pops, I just got a lot of responsibilities now that's all." Virgil said.

"Why don't you tell me about these big responsibilities you've got?" Robert asked.

"You know, school, other stuff." Virgil said.

"It's like I have no idea what's going on in your life anymore, Virgil. While I've been able to know what's going on with Ruby." Robert said.

"I just don't know what..." Robert said but was interrupted when the phone rang.

"I'd better get that." Virgil said as he got up.

"Me too." Ruby said as she got up and followed Virgil.

"We'll continue this later." Robert said sternly as he pointed his finger at Virgil.

"Why can't you just trust me? For once." Virgil said sternly as he walked away.

Ruby looked at Robert with a nervous expression before she followed Virgil out of the living room as Robert watched them leave with an angry expression. Ruby was sitting on her bed talking to Allie on the phone.

"And he's been destroying his dad's property for days. Sounds to me that he has daddy issues." Ruby said on her phone.

"Reminds me of someone we know." Allie said as she was sitting on her bed while doing her homework by holding a notebook and pencil while holding the phone on her shoulder.

'Yeah, Virgil's been getting mad about Uncle Robert wondering what he's been doing and that he doesn't trust him.' Ruby said through Allie's phone.

"Even with all the stress Uncle Robert's been giving him lately, I can't imagine Virgil doing something like that to him." Ruby said until she heard the phone beeping.

"Uh-oh! Sorry, Al, I got a call waiting." Ruby said.

'Okay, I'll see you later then.' Allie said through Ruby's phone.

Ruby pressed the flash button as she put her phone back to her ear.

"Hello?" Ruby answered.

"I knew I'd seen you two before. Virgil and Ruby." Alva Jr. said as he was talking to her and Virgil on the phone.

He was next to a newspaper stand with the man inside backing away in fear as Alva Jr. looked at a newspaper with Virgil and Ruby's faces in the picture.

"So listen up. You stay out of my way or both of your secret identities are history." Alva Jr. said in a warning tone with an evil smirk.

Ruby pulled the phone away while covering her mouth.

'This is bad. We gotta think of something quick.' Ruby thought.

Virgil, Ruby, Richie, and Allie were in the Abandoned Gas Station of Solitude as Virgil and Ruby told Richie and Allie what happened.

"So what do you think?" Richie asked as he held Virgil and Ruby's masks, which were both wrapped in foil.

Virgil and Ruby were in their superhero costumes as they both had angry expressions.

"Give me that." Virgil said as he and Ruby grabbed their masks out of Richie's hands.

"First of all, aluminum foil doesn't stop X-rays. It has to be lead." Virgil said as he and Ruby started peeling the foil off their masks.

"Yeah, haven't you been watching Superman on the news?" Ruby asked as she got the foil off her mask.

"What am I? A dental technician?" Richie asked with an angry expression.

"No. But, they should see how you brush your teeth in the morning." Allie said with a smirk as she crossed her arms.

"Real funny." Richie said as she looked at Allie with an annoyed tone.

"Second, he already knows who we are." Virgil said as he got the foil off his mask.

"And none of us have the power to reverse time or erase memories to prevent him from figuring out our identities." Ruby said as she and Virgil put on their masks.

"Okay, got me there. But he did say he wouldn't tell if you left him alone." Richie said.

"We can't do that, Richie. He's out of control. He needs help." Magnetta said.

"Then, he'll tell." Allie said with a frown.

"We know. If my dad's gonna learn our secret identity it's gonna be from me." Static said as he took out his Static Saucer and charged it with his powers.

"We can handle whatever our villains throw at us, even if it means having our secret identities exposed." Magnetta said as she surrounded herself in her white magnetic aura.

"But he won't be the only father in for a shock tonight." Static said.

That night, Edwin Alva was sleeping in his bed.

"Can I get the light for you, sir?" Magnetta's voice said as the lights turned on.

Edwin Alva woke up and sat on his bed as he saw Static and Magnetta levitating in front of him with his door open while Magnetta had her arms crossed.

"Static? Magnetta? How did you...Where's my security force?" Edwin Alva asked sternly.

"Oh, they went outside for a nap. You really need better security." Magnetta said with a smirk jerking her thumb behind her back as she and Static flew toward Edwin Alva.

Edwin Alva pushed a button on his nightstand. However, it wasn't working.

"I don't think it'll work without this stuff." Static said as he held out his hand and was revealed holding torn-off wires in his hand before dropping them in front of Edwin Alva.

"What do you want?" Edwin Alva asked.

"Believe it or not, we're here to help you." Magnetta said as she and Static levitated over Edwin Alva's bed while looking at him.

"Help me? You two?" Edwin Alva asked.

"It's about Omnifarious." Static said.

"What about him?" Edwin Alva asked.

"He's your son." Magnetta said.

"My son? That's ridiculous." Edwin Alva said as he got out of bed and grabbed his bathrobe.

"It's the truth and he needs help." Magnetta said as Edwin Alva put on his bathrobe.

"What kind of scam are you trying to..." Edwin Alva said.

"You don't believe me? Check out your labs." Static said sternly as they flew in front of Edwin Alva.

"It's the least you can do." Static said sternly as he flew out of Edwin Alva's room through the door.

"And trust us, this isn't a scam. Believe me. When you find out, we'll be there if you need us." Magnetta said as she flew through the door and followed her cousin.

Edwin Alva looked at them with a stern expression.

Robert was sitting in the kitchen with his pajamas on as he was looking through a photo album. Sharon walked inside the kitchen before she kissed Robert's cheek.

"Thought you were going to bed early." Sharon wondered.

"Couldn't sleep." Robert said as he was holding a mug of coffee.

"This won't help." Sharon said as she grabbed the mug and walked toward the sink.

"Looking at pictures of Aunt Karen and Uncle Stuart?" Sharon guessed.

"Not this time. Virgil and Ruby." Robert said.

He was looking at a picture of Virgil and Ruby when they were toddlers as they were pretending to be superheroes with Stuart and Karen watching them play with Karen giggling while covering her mouth and Stuart crossing her arms. Young Virgil jumped wearing a yellow tablecloth as a cape, a white mask, a purple short-sleeved shirt, grey shorts, and black shoes. Young Ruby held her hand up in the air with a u-shaped magnet in her hand with her other hand on her hip as she was wearing a white mask, a red sleeveless shirt, a white skirt, and blue shoes. Stuart was wearing a yellow short-sleeved shirt, black shorts, and blue running shoes. Karen was wearing an orange short-sleeved shirt, blue leggings, and black flats. Stuart had short black hair and black eyes. Karen had long black hair that goes down to her chest, blue eyes, and one eyelash on the side of her eyes. She was also wearing red lipstick.

"Remember that barbecue? I was the one who dropped all the golf balls into the lake." Sharon said.

"Really?" Robert asked.

"Ruby took the blame because she knew Uncle Stuart was already mad at me for being clumsy with his sports equipment. At least he didn't get mad at her because he loves her so much." Sharon explained.

"It was a relief that Aunt Karen was willing to dive into the lake and managed to find all the golf balls." Sharon said as they looked at a photo of Karen who was in the lake carrying all the golf balls around her arms, while she was soaking wet with a smile on her face.

"If you quote me, I'll deny it, but, um...Virgil's a great guy, especially Ruby." Sharon said as she closed the book before looking at Robert while grabbing his arm.

"Give them the benefit of the doubt." Sharon said as they heard the front door open and saw Virgil and Ruby walk inside the kitchen.

"Hey." Virgil said.

"Hi." Ruby said as Sharon walked toward her and Virgil.

Sharon kissed Virgil and Ruby's cheeks before walking away.

"Aah! What did I do?" Virgil said in disgust.

"Oh, don't such a baby, cousin." Ruby said in an annoyed tone.

Until they saw Robert looking at them with a stern expression.

"Dad..." Virgil said as he gulped nervously.

"...there's something we need to tell you." Virgil said nervously.

A few minutes later, Virgil, Ruby, and Robert were standing on the roof with Virgil crossing his arms.

"Okay, this isn't easy. I know I've been flaky lately, but there's a reason." Virgil said.

"Virgil, you don't have to go into it." Robert said, surprising Virgil and Ruby.

"I don't." Virgil asked.

"No, you don't." Robert said.

"Really?" Ruby asked.

"Really. Because I trust you two. You both never gave me a single reason not to." Robert explained as he looked at his son and niece.

"I-" Virgil tried to say something but was interrupted by Robert as he put his hand on Virgil's shoulder.

"Look. I know you miss your mother. And I know you miss your parents too, Ruby. I haven't done a great job of helping you both deal with that, but I watched you both handle them better than I have, frankly. I don't say it enough. I'm proud of you son. Especially you, niece." Robert said as he, Virgil, and Ruby hugged each other.

Once they stopped, Robert walked toward the door.

"I'll see you two downstairs." Robert said as he walked inside.

Virgil smiled for a second until he realized that he had something that he wanted to tell Robert.

"Oh, dad! Wait. Ruby and I gotta tell you something." Virgil said as Ruby heard an explosion.

She turned around and had a shocked expression at what she saw.

"Uh, Virgil. I think you might need to see this." Ruby said as she turned her head to look at Virgil while pointing her finger in the distance.

"What is it?" Virgil said as he turned around and saw where Ruby was pointing.

They saw huge explosions from the Alva Corp building in the distance.

"If I have to guess, that must be from Alva Jr." Ruby said.

"Come on, let's get our gear and pay Alva a visit." Virgil said as he and Ruby ran inside to change into their superhero costumes.

A few minutes later, Static and Magnetta flew toward the roof of the Alva Corp building where Edwin Alva was standing as he sees his son and guards flying in the distance with Static and Magnetta floating next to him.

"You gotta stop them before someone gets hurt!" Magnetta yelled in concern.

"Don't shoot. I'm ordering you!" Edwin Alva yelled in his walkie-talkie.

'Too late for that. We gotta stop this freak or he'll get all of us.' A man said through Edwin Alva's walkie-talkie.

"Copy that." Another man said through a radio.

"Open fire." The 1st man said as the guards fired multiple laser beams from their flying machines at Alva Jr.

However, Alva Jr. (using purple bat wings for flight and having pointed ears) produced a blue force field around himself.

"You gotta stop them!" Static yelled.

"I can't! Can you?" Edwin Alva said as he looked at Static and Magnetta.

"Gonna try." Static said as they flew away.

Six flying machines were firing their laser beams at Alva Jr. while surrounding him in a circle as Static and Magnetta flew over them.

Static and Magnetta coiled their bodies as Static grunted while grinding his teeth. They screamed as they held out their arms and unleashed huge outbursts of energy. Static unleashed a purple electromagnetic pulse while Magnetta unleashed an outburst of white magnetic energy from her body. The electromagnetic pulse and magnetic burst shut off the lights in the buildings. The electromagnetic pulse disrupted three of the flying machine before the guards ejected while the magnetic burst disrupted the other three flying machines as the guards ejected with their parachutes. The electromagnetic pulse and magnetic burst could be seen from the city as Static and Magnetta flew down to the roof feeling weak. Static fell on his back while Magnetta was able to land on her feet before kneeling.

"Electromagnetic pulse and a magnetic burst?" Edwin Alva asked as he walked toward Static and Magnetta.

"Yeah, knocks out electrical devices." Static said as he got on his hands and knees.

"While my Magnet Burst can disrupt technology." Magnetta said as she stood up while she and Static looked at Edwin Alva.

"What were you thinking? They could've killed him." Magnetta asked before they felt a breeze.

"All he was thinking about was protecting his company." Alva Jr. said as he landed on the roof, facing Static, Magnetta, and his father.

"You never cared about me." Alva Jr. said as Static tried to stand up but was too weak and fell on his hands and knees.

"All you care about is your image and your precious legacy. You want a monument? I'll give you a mountain of rubble when I bring this building down around you. No matter what it takes." Alva Jr. said. as he takes off the gas-packed belt.

"No, Alva, don't! That's too much Bang Baby Gas! You can't handle that much power! Who knows what'll happen!" Magnetta yelled.

"Make me!" Alva Jr. said as he crushes the belt in his hands, releasing all the Bang Baby Gas around him.

"Uh-oh!" Static said.

However, Alva Jr. ended up shapeshifting into different forms as he screamed.

"Too fast!" Alva Jr. yelled as Edwin Alva, Static, and Magnetta gasped with Magnetta covering her mouth with her hands.

"Can't control it!" Alva Jr. yelled as he turned into three purple monsters before being surrounded by an orb of light with purple streams of gas around it.

Until the light died down and Alva Jr. screamed with his hands up. Static and Edwin Alva had their mouth open in shock while Magnetta had her hands covering her mouth in shock. Alva Jr. then reached his hands out as he said his final word.

"Dad." Alva Jr. said sadly as he turned into stone.

Static stood up as Edwin Alva walked toward his son in shock.

"Is...he alive?" Edwin Alva asked.

"I don't know. We never should have told you. But I thought a father could work things out with his son. Even you." Static explained sadly as he got on his Static Saucer and flew into the air.

"Guess everybody isn't as lucky as me." Static said as he flew away.

Edwin Alva dropped his head down in shame and sadness as he knew that it was his fault for his son being turned into stone. Magnetta couldn't help but feel bad for Edwin Alva. It reminded her of the day she lost her parents. She walked toward Alva Jr.'s stone body as her eyes glowed white. Thankfully, she saw that the iron in his blood was still flowing and that his heart was still beating.

"Alva. I'm really sorry that this happened to your son." Magnetta said sadly.

"It's not your fault. It's mine. I've been a jerk to my son and didn't even care about him. And thanks to me, I've lost my son." Edwin Alva said.

"Hey, it's okay. You were just blinded by your work. But, he's your son. You need to know that family always comes first. If you don't, you'll end up pushing away the people you love from your life." Magnetta explained.

"But don't worry. Your son's still alive." Magnetta said with a small smile.

"He is?" Edwin Alva said as he lifted his head.

"Yes, I've looked at the iron in his blood and it's still moving. His heart is also still beating. But slowly. It's only a matter of time before the blood flow in his body stops along with his heart." Magnetta said sadly.

"Seeing as how me and Static told you your son's secret identity. It's only fair that I reveal mine to you." Magnetta said as she closed her eyes before taking off her mask.

Edwin Alva gasped as he saw how Magnetta truly was.

"You...you're Mr. Hawkins' niece." Edwin Alva said.

"Yes, I am. And I was the one you wanted to capture." Magnetta said as Edwin Alva looked down in guilt.

"But, don't worry. I'm not mad at you. I forgive you for trying to capture me. In fact, I'll be happy to help you get your son back." Magnetta said.

"You will?" Edwin Alva asked in shock.

"Of course. I don't want you to lose your son the same way I lost my parents. And I'll do whatever it takes to save him." Magnetta said as she put her mask back on.

"I promise." Magnetta said as she flew away with Edwin Alva watching her fly off.

The screen then showed Alva Jr. in his stone form as it zoomed into his face where his eyes glowed yellow for a second.

I have to say, the ending was really sad. It made my heart break and almost made me cry. Also, I have finally shown you what Ruby's parents look like. I'm sure you were surprised that Magnetta revealed her identity. Well, I've been planning to have Magnetta do that for a while. As you can see, Magnetta forgives Edwin Alva for what he's done to her and Static.

Remember, family always comes first as it'll lead you to lose the people you love if you ignore them. Nothing is more important than family. And I've lost a lot of people I've cared about in the past years of my life. First, I lost my best friend in 5th grade when he told me that he was moving to another school, and I never saw him again. I didn't even get to goodbye. Then, I lost my Uncle in a car accident when I was 10. And then, I lost my Grandpa two years ago. I've missed my grandpa so much for we had a lot of fun times together. He was fun to talk to and was a good person to be with. And nothing has been the same without him.

Anyway, I only got three chapters left. I really got to pick up the pace if I want to finish Season 1 before January. Please Review.
