The Mighty Ducks Re-Imagined I: The Mighty Ducks
Warnings: With this chapter, that conversation between Reilly and Bombay is going to be repeated twice now here, before Adam comes into the picture next. This is going to be a re-imagining of the Mighty Ducks trilogy as Charlie meets Orion at the age of 10, as their lives are fused together. As they prepare for what their future brings now, and as Charlie learns the truth.
And this soon, that Orion is his real father and he has a life outside of the team. This is also going to leave out the tv show, so an alternate reality story.
With this story line trilogy, this is going to be a what if Orion had been with them from the very beginning now. As he's training them in between the time that Bombay leaves to when he comes back. In the second film when the sextet join in, and when the committee of the games picks him. And when they start at the academy right now, as Charlie's personality switch is fake as is Adam's.
And his transfer to the varsity, so all of the next 3 movies is having him around and as they get older now.
Disclaimers: The Mighty Ducks don't belong to me, the story belongs to me, everything else belongs to the disney company.
Chapter 3: Team Meetings and Unexpected Decisions II
"Averman, was I right, he blackmailed you, either you side with him, or he reveals what we were nearly involved in, only that gets headed off and by us going to dad?" Charlie asked and he nodded. "Yeah that's it exactly and now that the truth is out, I can it say it, but we already had that conversation with your father. He said, and I quote, 'If it means protecting the girls, then you need back up, Fulton can protect the girls, as Banks and you dealwith the shooting, boys.'."
"But that 13, could be good luck, and if he's in emotional turmoil, he's deserving support, without being picked on.'." he said, quoting it word for word and they all went white at that. "As for Charlie now, though he and Coach are growing closer, he and his father had a deeper bond. But Charlie's happiness is what matters to me, I love his father too, he's my goal, like he's Charlie's, playing for him, we want nothing more right now, then his being our coach next."
"Answer this, if it was Uncle Jason that chose this and we agree with him, would you still call us traitors, or my father now that you know he is my father. Or your own, we agree with them, are we still traitors here?" Averman asked and they all paled at that. "Jason, Rick, Andy and I all had the same reaction when the boys dropped the bomb to us, they even asked me. What's the reason for why Banks should be put on the team, and we all said the same thing, Fulton's job."
"Though he's a crack shot, he's also the strongest of the team, he's an enforcer, his job is defense, and with this team being co-ed, it's his job to protect you girls. Till we get him a counterpart enforcer and re-enforcements." Orion said and they paled. "There's no getting out of this boys, young lady, Tamara, the words can't be taken back once said right now." Hall said sternly to them and they swallowed hard shaking, now realizing their parents were furious then.
"Just so you know our parents, Terry and me, already gave me an earful, so I am not getting you out of this, Charlie got me the truth. But are you guys out of your minds or are you just plain stupid here, because Charlie is right. Are you girls trying to land yourselves in the hospital, to keep things like this right now, Fulton needs to protect you. The guys and I can do the scoring here, Connie." Jesse said and they swallowed as Orion signaled and the quintet nodded sternly.
"Charlie passed this to me, I passed it to Jason and Andy." Orion said and they all went white at that news. "Lester, were you waiting till Charlie got you out of that blackmail to tell me and your mother?" his father asked him and he nodded. "Yeah dad, but Uncle Ted was at the scene, we went to him first and in being our future coach, he got us out of this. Bombay knows, he got us, Charlie and me now, out on a warning, and Uncle Ted has us in after school study, mom, dad."
"And before we saw him again after Banks's trio jumped us." he said and their parents nodded. "Don't say it, you guys are the ones in the wrong, Charlie and I got the opinion of our future coach, he's a parent, but around teenagers day in and day out. We adapted to the schedule he was preparing for us now, but we love him, he's our mentor. But when the time came for Bombay to pass us to a new one, we handpicked him, and for Bombay, and we're happy here."
"Uncle Ted is dad's best friend, future coach, chosen already." Averman said and they all paled. "Averman and I went to my father in asking his opinion on why Bombay would need to choose Adam but with only one enforcer, he can't do both at once, one or the other. Before he clarified to me, today what the definition of his remark, before the forfeit meant. But 'if we make it', becomes if we are to make it', they never asked, because of an insult, thinking he meant us."
"That's the reason for the mutiny, as I tried to talk to them, make them see sense, in immediate mutiny, they never considered their own safety or the safety of the girls till I told dad this. To get us way to fix this problem and the meeting was at the diner, as you know here now. But the diner, that's a common gossip channel network now, so question, but any conversation that gets started there is juicy, what happens?" Charlie asked and they all went white at that remark then.
"And it's all over the district in 2 hours and all over town in a week." Duncan said in shocked fury. "Officer Duncan…" he started to say and Duncan shook his head. "Uncle Peter son, as Andrew and I are the two newest members of the adult gang." he said and Charlie nodded. "It got worse, but right after Uncle Hank arrived to drop your news we lost another one here. The truth came out here, right now, dad's schedule provided a way for you to know where we are."
"At all times right now in truth here, along with a solid after school schedule." he said and their parents nodded sternly at that. "These idiots never realized in why the heck Adam is acting like this, till Uncle Rick passed me this." he said and passing the newspaper to them and he nodded. "The Hawks are raising money for the Banks's daughter treatments, Adam Banks is in a case of emotional turmoil being displayed as the other young hotshots." Orion said and they all paled.
"But so what if he's a Hawk, or Gordon once was, I am too, and look at me?" he said sternly and Averman crossed his arms at that remark. "I get the point, we're not losers, we're still learning, and you just unlocked the door, your training is the key Uncle Ted. Like Charlie, I love you like a father, you got us through the hard parts and we're slowly getting even better now. But just who are they kidding, did they ever consider their safety, before the immediate rejection here now."
"I mean come on, Fulton can't do both, one or the other!" he said and the quintet all went white at that. "You got to be kidding me, they called you guys a traitors simply, because you were considering the safety of the girls?!" Claire Monroe, Connie's mother, said in shock and they nodded. "Peter's eaves dropping just resulted in nearly putting us all in detention if Averman and I never ran into my father." he said and their parents nodded shocked fury and disbelief at that.
"But he claimed that the coach meant us, but he was talking about the Hawks, Coach's father passed the season they lost the first ever time. That Reilly coached the team and Coach lost his love for the sport ever since." he said and their parents nodded. "Remark?" She asked him and he crossed his arms. "Claimed he said we're losers, we didn't deserve to live, Bombay was being sarcastic when he said that, misunderstood remarks and at times eavesdropping can lead."
"And into a very, very big problem but two days since the mutiny, before I could even make said phone call, dad walked into the diner." he said and Averman's father smiled knowingly at the response. "Immediate response to his seeing you, Ted?" he asked and Orion nodded with a chuckle. "Yeah a hug in greeting me, after a month, in being supposed surrogate papa bear and he goes baby bear on me as a result here." he told him and Annie smiled gently at that news.
"My son, so now that he has me back and we spent a month getting to knowing each other, I arrived in time for the words, 'I'm getting Coach Orion on the line.'. And I made my entrance on that, that his immediate reaction to seeing me was giving me a hug. And before burying his head into my shoulder, though he loves Gordon, I met him first and we spent the entire month. Now together, but things changed, he's been acting like a captain by asking my opinion here."
"He finally grew too attached in my case right now, before the truth comes out and now that the truth it out here right now. So now that he's got the one thing he wants most in the world, so though Gordon leaves. It's I'm here, he never changes and he becomes a teenage me when we were their age right now, he's going to be fine. But they never considered his emotional well being or their own safety, in that rejection." he said and the Monroes and Duncans nodded then.
"Issues, at times said players grow too attached to their coach, but trusted adult and then ending results are the parents know if said cub had a second trusted adult." Annie said and he nodded smiling in agreement. "Though he and Gordon are growing close, he met me the month prior and it's like every other week, I keep catching the tail end of things. Nothing's going to change, so once they get into the academy, they'll be fine with me as I'm the JV coach."
"And a very quick decision as they been trained to employ thinking over brute strength to these situations, I'm doing the entire 5 years as their coach, so from JV into Varsity. But if Gordon gets that tryout into the minors, I'm the back up coach now." he said and their parents nodded. "Uh oh, dead man walking if these guys get in trouble." Averman said and he nodded. "And you hear that tone in my voice enough already to know these idiots throw the first punch in truth."
"They blow the mental edge they had against us….." he said and Charlie and Averman nodded smiling then. "And now we know we own them as pro training beats high school to college age any day of the week here." Averman said and he nodded. "Well as of right now, I'm getting you to the level you're playing under me and then once in the academy. I'm doing pro, so you're going to destroy Hawks's older brothers in the showdown." he said and they nodded smiling.
"Dead duck walking right now, but before we do anything the truth is coming out right now, but you already gave your opinion, let me guess, Uncle Jason said the same thing. Before Mr. Reed did at the moment right now." he said and Orion nodded and he crossed his arms. "Peter claimed he said we were losers, we don't deserve to live now in truth. And till dad rephrased this, as the Hawks are losers, and we hate losers, don't we, they don't even deserve to live."
"Dad said the same thing, and that was enough to convince me, before Coach told me the exact details of why he blew that shot, before I rephrased that here for him." he said and she nodded sternly. "Like any good captain would." Monroe said and they nodded. "After talking to him, before he decided to pull and Peter triggered another loss in coaches here. I remembered dad telling me if we ever had need for a back up coach, just give him a call and he would do it."
"Well I took his offer and a family meeting ensued at the diner here, but question, what's the difference between back then and now. Where a case of malicious mischief, borderline near murder is concerned, and we're all dressed in it right now?" he and and Averman paled as he got it. "Our jerseys give our surnames and numbers on our team." he said and Charlie nodded. "Like the coach said change from a district number to a new name and these give our names."
"Then it's a wonder you and I never got arrested, but luckily Porter, Daniels and dad told mom what happened and with her, the Coach, we're home free." he said and Averman removed his glasses in relief at that news then. "That's how you met my best friend, Lester, near involvement in what they did now, and you went to check on the trio?" Averman asked him and he nodded. "Yeah dad, we went to him first, before calling out to the target of that practical joke here."
"Before Charlie realized that Jack Porter was in the third car, as we explained said circumstance and gave them the truth." he said and the Avermans nodded in relief as he looked at Charlie in relief at the news. "The other driver, he gave his name as Daniels, but after we made sure they were fine, Uncle Hank arrived next and a group meeting ensued next. As we told them they chased off the last 4 and the 5th had a heart attack." he said and the Duncan's father nodded.
"The coach was a lawyer, but Ducksworth put him on sabbatical and he's spending all his time on us, that the ending results since Fulton got added to the team. He's acting like a mixture of Emilio's more famous characters and one is said athlete that he played. When on that John Hugh's film and the other his wiseacre persona on The Outsiders. And with some of Rob Lowe's character mixed in, but hearing this now, he took action to get us out of this right now in truth."
"But that's why Averman and I are always at dad's house now, we're in a study period after practice, he just never expected me to walk right into dad. And dad is his best friend they were on the team in 1973 and dad quit when Bombay did." he said and their parents nodded. "You even hear what he said right now, 'the Hawks, my first game and it had to the Hawks.'. He was praying he never saw Reilly this soon." he said and they all paled at that news in shock then.
"Dad, he and Adam, as well as Adam's brother, and his best friend are free of Reilly, and the Banks's are basically my father, from preteen to high school. Adam is Bombay, before Reilly destroyed his love for the sport." he said and they went white. "So that's what it is here, you're judging them, because of team rivalries?" Monroe said with a warning tone and the quintet all paled. "I am not tolerating that, as for the target of said prank." Hall said sternly at that news.
"Daniels, Jared Daniels?" Duncan asked him and Charlie nodded. "Yeah Daniels, he and Porter arrived in the diner and told mom and the Coach everything." he said and Averman shook his head. "For those idiots it's dead duck walking." he said and Charlie nodded then. "Yeah dead duck walking, Daniels and Porter, let alone dad, explained everything to mom. Mom and Coach Bombay, Bombay's getting us off on a warning, but we're doing extended study period here."
"Under dad starting now, but those idiots are getting probation for nearly causing a 3-car pile up, after this, but we have to get these guys off the team. And before someone gets hurt or killed out of this stunt or the others they keep doing." he said and Averman senior nodded in agreement to his opinion as he and Orion exchanged looks at the news. "You cubs this young, that goes without saying right now, but being a parent, I can't let you out of my sight now."
"So after a practice, you're with me and we got you guys in a study schedule now, so you can get straight A's, son. But Gordon's your next to last, I'm your very last, and I got you for 5 years." Orion said and he nodded. "Side effects, get ready, he parents you the way he does me and Karen now, as such, these idiots, if their probation is the team and the academy. We all know this, that, but we get chosen for a gig out of town, we got him being said parent."
"Being around him this long, I don't want anyone, but him and Bombay as our coach now." he said and the team nodded, before they realized it then. "Just gets his papa bear back and he goes baby bear on me now, strong bond between us. And this was before the truth came out right now, that he's mine." Orion said and their parents nodded with a gentle smile. "Dead man walking here, the older we get and with the girls, it's keep your hands off my daughter now."
"If that captain that Lester told me about starts getting suggestive, he's asking to get his mouth cleaned out with a wire brush." Averman said and he nodded. "When said girl is like another daughter to me then yeah, but these brats, all of them. Never see the girls as girls, but as like the boys, that a stunt like my walking in there in the middle of a brawl. It's 'you keep your damn hands off my daughter, now get your team out of here.'." he said and they nodded sternly then.
"Paraphrased as 'It's a darn good thing I'm not your coach, now get your team out of here now.'." Charlie said and he nodded. "That's exactly what I mean, cub." he said and the sextet hid a chuckle at the frequent use of the word. "Yeah cubs, we're only 10, going on 11, you're papa bear, we're cub bear." Charlie said and their parents chuckled at his remark. "And I get severely territorial with my cubs, so whoever is picking on you, they better back off right now."
"And before they get mauled here." he said in response and Hall hid a laugh at his remark. "I'd hate to be the poor idiot that gets that rough in these games, as we get older. You been training us and so long, we become beyond good right now, that Coach doesn't have to worry. And about us being rusty, because we're training in the off season here, and the Hawks older brothers. Said are the new Varsity, and we got some stiff competition for those JV slots right now in truth."
"That life is like it always was you, we know your rules in training, your strategies, we're unbeatable here once you take over, dad." he said and their parents all smiled as they got what he meant as Averman moved to him. "So the trio told the coach and Aunt Casey the truth, we get off on a warning, they get the riot act from heck. But we're not doing that anymore right now starting now, and if he's your father, what you and I been doing the last month since then."
"That keeps us and the others out of trouble, as our parents know where we are at all times now, from the time our parents drop us off at school till they get off work." he said and Orion nodded and he smiled in relief then. "One of the good things about finding me this young kiddo, not just a coach, but teacher, your mentor." he said and he smiled in relief then. "Coach, mentor, surrogate father, everything we need in a mentor is you in later years right now in truth here."
"Like we said, the reason you never see us out there when you're with the duo, is he and I are in study session with Uncle Ted and we're doing our homework." he said and Guy Tremaine and the Halls all nodded in shock. "Ted Orion, but looks like Charlie just told Aunt Casey where he is after school when not in practice, we met Karen and Aunt Kim. Baby sister was injured in a car accident last year, and that gave us another reason to quit." he said and they nodded in shock.
"You guys been hanging around with his father and his extended family all this time?" Connie said in shock and they both nodded. "My stepmother and half sister, but yeah, she's 5 years old, but seeing baby now, the catch of being big brother. Said slammed into place so hard, I'm not letting those idiots anywhere near Karen right now, baby's my entire world. Like you and Tammy are, Hammer, so with dad being a coach…." Charlie said and the sextet nodded gently to him.
"The truth is out, said Dear John letter, mom was late, I'm the reason." he said and they nodded in understanding. "His parents got married right out of high school right now, but after the test results came back positive, she never wanted your uncle to give up his shot. Looks like he did last year after the car accident and Karen ended up in that chair at the time. But now that he and Charlie walked right into each other that worked highly." Hall said and Orion nodded sternly.
"It did, but finding the 6 of you, gave me an even bigger reason to retire now, I got two real cubs and 9 adopted now." he said and they smiled then. "And there's said lecture, strange curves thrown in life, this is the said curve, and I want more out of life. Then these guys having us look like trouble makers right now, time for a fast change here now. But guys, the other reason Uncle Hank walked in, is because things got worse." Charlie said and he nodded gently.
"The kidnappings?!" Claire asked and he nodded. "Yeah, but 90 minutes in practice, 2 hours in a study period, and then the trio drop us off at home." he said and their parents nodded in agreement then quickly. "Agreed, I'm scared out of my mind they're going to nab you guys next with you out there doing who knows what." Hall said sternly at that news then gently then. "So 90 minutes for practice, 2 hours in a study session with Ted, and then Gordon drops you off."
"In time for dinner and we're doing this everyday, starting now, so you guys get to see your uncle all the time now." Adam Tremaine said and Hall and Monroe nodded. "The coach is dad's best friend, but before he could arrange it with Uncle Jason, dad and I talked it over. Saying if we ever needed a back up coach, he'd be there to take over if need be right now. Well I took his offer, but said new back up Coach is a pro hockey player doing high school age, in truth here."
"This turned out to be said circumstance and Averman you forget our question to dad, over this like two weeks before he chose to get Adam off the Hawks?" he asked and Averman covered his eyes. "Dead duck walking right now, but everything we discussed with your father, it just landed on the table right now." he said and Charlie nodded as he moved to Charlie's side then. "It was like a week after the Cardinal game, and before Hans told him the district boundary lines now."
"Now got changed, that I realized this, Adam lives in our district, Bombay realized this at the same time, and we decided to confer with dad of what reason here. He would have for choosing Adam next, he said that Fulton needs to focus, one or the other. With you girls, he should be protecting you and Adam helps us with the scoring." he said and they all paled at that. "Whoa, you ask the question our children never bothered to ask and they mutiny, because of a lie."
"And one passed out by the biggest trouble makers there are on this team, when you are the leader of the team, as the captain?" Monroe asked and he nodded. "Looks like for Averman, he tries to rebel and side with me and Fulton, and Peter turns in the fact. That we nearly had a hand in last month's car accident, till I got him a way out." he said and they nodded. "And I'm home free now, but now that you told us this I'm siding with you guys right now in truth."
"As for the remark of traitors, we're not traitors, you are, and this is our parents age group we're talking about, you might as well be saying go to you know, right to our parents here." Averman snapped and they went white, realizing that's what they said in the mutiny. "Where the heck is your brain Connie, you're a what?!" he added and she swallowed hard. "Think it over, guys, why do we get so rough to get the puck, or gang up on someone to get it exactly here."
"But us guys we can handle the body slams, but your body is more fragile here, so fragile in fact that a direct blow to where could cause what exactly, and why did Coach choose Fulton. Aside from his slapshot till we get him a back up of his position here." he said sternly to her and she started shaking, realizing she and Tammy never considered that thought at all. "You never, in your immediate objection, never considered your own safety?" Duncan said sternly to her then.
"Well we sure as heck did and thank god Charlie told me this, now, or that we found his father, as he explains Bombay's decisions if said team is co-ed. Because your short sidedness, it nearly cost us the entire season, we make this season, we move on to bigger and better things. Said being, we get good enough, we get into the academy!" Averman said and they paled. "I love his father like a second father to me, to me, playing for him is my future goal in order to now."
"We got to make it the next 4 years leading into the academy, we keeping winning the championships, get the gold, and even play inside the school system, we're in." he said and their parents nodded quickly to that. "You fixed their future, once you guys walked right into Ted?!" Duncan said and the duo nodded and they nodded and they looked at them firmly. "Dad spoke to the Dean, the Dean said we get good enough to play as their new JV in a few years."
"He's getting the entire team scholarships to the academy one side means the other, Les and I been preparing for the regime with dad in charge of us and we've both got straight A's. And in every class right now, but a certain someone nearly wrecked our futures. Based on eaves-dropping and them taking said words at face value." Charlie said and he nodded sternly. "We asked and his father gave the answer, to protect you girls, Fulton needs to focus on you."
"And Adam helps the guys and me with the scoring, but really, are you willing to end up in the emergency room to keep Adam off the team, Connie, huh. Yeah you're the Belted Hammer, but sometimes, even you need protection, we're 3 years away from puberty. And what's the dangerous side effect for you, if these guys in the Hawks or our version. Or the Varsity cross the line?" Averman asked and they paled, now realizing they never considered their own safety.
"There thank you, that's a parents worst nightmare where their daughter is concerned, and I'm a cop, young lady, so did that consideration ever cross your minds. Fulton needs to protect you, leave the scoring to the boys, because if these guys get too rough. And it could put you in the emergency room, you know how protective we get of you." Duncan said to her sternly. "Oh god, your father is a real coach, asking him this question, he said it for all of them right now."
"You asked the question, we never bothered to, and it puts him in the hotseat and nearly all of us with him, because of a single lie?!" Connie said in shock and the quintet nodded sternly. "I asked the coach the same question he said the same thing, Adam's helping the guys and me. While Fulton protects you girls." he said and they felt their hearts fall at that news. "Turns out that the reason Adam is on that team is his sister, she's got leukemia, they're raising money."
"For the treatments." he said and they went white in shock at that. "The guys and I decided, together, on a TBD, as his first remark, gets him a place on the team. And we're his new friends, but you see what following said trouble-maker nearly results in. If I never spoke to dad, your mutiny would get us all thrown in detention." he said and their parents crossed their arms. "Averman over here, you were with me when I asked dad." he said and Averman moved to him.
"So they took said lie without questioning it first, and when he and David barely got you boys arrested for murder in the third degree?!" Duncan said with a warning tone and the sextet all backed up at that remark. "They did and thank god we found dad this soon, or we're screwed and excuse me." he said and they nodded sternly. "I get it and it's fine right now son, you guys did the right thing in check on the trio, however, you guys have some serious explaining."
"To do right now, Gordon was thinking about what we would say, but playoffs is really the next game against the Hawks, you know how rough those brats play!" he said and the quintet all paled at that. "Just where the hell is your common sense young man, hmm, did you forget that I saved your behinds from a mugging. With some help from Fulton, you remember the red car that pulled in and Lester and Charlie moved to?" Orion asked and Guy looked down at that.
"That was you?" he said shaking and Orion nodded sternly. "Yes it was me, young man Charlie and Lester know my voice when they hear it now, but they know that tone. But imagine hearing my training tones day in and day out right now, you get used to it after a while. That instead of coach it becomes father bear that raising your voice at me, means the box. You're 14, being treating like a 10 year old and sent to your rooms." he said and Charlie hid a chuckle then.
"In this case the box could be said room, but we're not ducklings anymore our wings grew in by that point, but we're having trouble after the left wing feathers got clipped." Averman said and Charlie nodded. "Till our feathers grow back and we fly again, but smack me, I smack you back, put the wing down now." he said and the Hall started shaking in laughter at that. "In this case right now, said lie is the reason you 5 are in the hotseat, as Charlie ratted him out right now."
"I don't really care if you think what he said was the truth or not, Charlie and Averman did the correct thing by asking a real coach about a decision where it pertains here. In having said team being co-ed, as only by sheer luck, that they ask first before Gordon made that decision." Hall said sternly and the trio and the Duncans looked down and Monroe nodded sternly. "So Averman knew what we would say as your father gave our direct opinion, and without now, in truth."
"Asking any of us for a translation you take the word of the biggest trouble makers on this team and Charlie's the son of a real youth age coach?" Monroe said with a warning tone and they nodded shaking and he nodded. "That Coach is our best friend, he knew exactly what we're thinking and said it out loud, Gordon tells Ted, Ted tells him our direct opinion. And soon it's all over every parent and adult in our district that Peter and David nearly made you coach-less."
"Again, because you took said insult at face value, when he didn't even mean you right now?!" Andrew Reed said sternly and they all nodded and their parents nodded. "Thanks Ted, for getting involved right now, you just saved the entire season for us now." Rick Averman said and he nodded as their parents looked at the sextet sternly as the Duncan's father said it then. "So you guys asked him this question, he gave our opinion and then this happens, alright you guys."
"You 5 better explain yourselves, right now." Corporeal Peter Duncan said sternly and they all paled at that news. "Gets better, but it seems that Averman it's a matter of blackmail, he agrees with me and Peter tells you that he and I had a hand in the near car accident last month." he said and Richard Averman crossed his arms. "And you got him a way out, but thank god you found your father this soon or that would have landed both of you in juvenile hall in truth."
"Tell me where is your common sense exactly you guys, hmm, where, it seems every time you hang around with that brat, you get in trouble." he asked and the quartet looked down, realizing they had enough of the 'follow the leader'. "Just tell me right now, who is the real captain of this team exactly, though he's not wearing that C on his jersey right now. He said captain in everyway you can say it, and you're following his rival?" Averman said sternly and they all paled.
"Guess it never crossed your minds, but everyone that encountered those two little brats all say the same thing: the path they're on is headed right to the state prison. Right now, and Charlie and Lester decided to change, now, before Peterson pushed them passed the brink. And of no return here, he wants more out of life, then being seen as a greaser with a penchant. And for cruel, disgusting and violent practical jokes, so where is your common sense, young man."
"After Charlie exposed the truth to the Halls and Fulton, they decided they were following Charlie and Lester's lead of wanting to be seen to be more then Greasers, juvenile delinquents. Do you want to be continued to be seen as everything the Hawks make you out to be, even they think you're sociopath for all these practical jokes?" he asked and Guy looked down then. "As it is, the path you're on, by even listening to those two little monsters is not looking good."
"Did it ever cross your minds he did this because Charlie was showing he was being the captain of the team. And in everyway you can say it now in all truth, the captain is the cub alpha of the team, it's his job to lead you. That alpha is the best friend and surrogate cub to the coach of the team here in all truth. But group instincts, the true alpha leads the team, adult alpha leads the cub alpha and the team, pack mentality." Orion said sternly and they all paled at his remark.
"But Peterson is his rival, and now because of a lie this team is split down the middle till you get over your pride at the moment, but being the Co-Coach. You just got deactivated for that mutiny that it's a wonder right now you never got in enough trouble to put yourselves in detention. But Gordon is a first year coach, I'm an experienced one here, who is it that will be your next. When he has to let you go when you start at the academy." he said and the quintet paled at that news.
As Charlie leaned his head against his shoulder, while Fulton, Averman and the Halls settled in behind him then. "What finding me this young causes doesn't it, he conformed, as did Averman even before you met me, so to them, they know this. If Gordon had a co-coach and a fight gets started, they know not to open their mouths, but 4 years down the line here now. You start at the academy and you meet me, as the new what exactly?" he asked and they went white then.
"We hadn't been brainwashed guys, we've bonded tightly to our final coach over the last month since they chose Bombay, there's a difference." Averman said sternly and they swallowed hard. "But to repeat the remark, what sounds like a drill instructor to you, is really what being a coach in middle to high school is really like, you ever watch the school games. Because we'll be hearing this day in and day out, till it becomes familiar." Charlie finished and Orion nodded then.
"Exactly, I am that coach, but this catch in following the leader, under me now as your coach, in all truth, is going to keep getting you in trouble. So said cheekiness after I decide on a to be determined in who is to be captain now in truth. The player showing attitude with me, gets said un-numbered amount of laps, share his opinion, you can join whoever it is. The second practice after you showed me what you can do, as my first lesson to the one heading for the goal."
"And whoever it is loses his temper with me, and I box them, as I turn to look at you guys, but does anyone share his opinion, on going off 1-way, to 2-way hockey. By using a strategy us pros use all the time, in not the way that David pulled after taking that puck right to the head?" he asked sternly and they swallowed hard. "Charlie's the son of a pro hockey player, as he uses everything in his arsenal that I taught him now, to you this is too hard till you raise your voice."
"At me now, but just imagine the second practice now, you follow what he says after I boxed him, you all get boxed." he said and they swallowed hard at that. "And anyone shares in his opinion here right now, right now, on the mutiny now, by that I mean I mean. As you're being trained to be defensemen now, guys, you share his thoughts on being a shooter?" he asked the quintet gently and they moved behind him in response and the quintet swallowed hard at that.
"After said earful from my own parents gave me, then no, I'm siding with the trio on this right now, if I even bothered to go right to your car, I would know what said answer is. Before this became a misunderstanding serious enough to land us all in detention later this week. But the duo want to go down and they're not taking us with them, period, but if you're the goal. I'm siding with you and the trio starting now." Jesse said and the trio nodded in stern agreement.
"I can take that for a 'no, and we're smart enough to keep our mouths shuts here, before it gets us boxed with him.'." Orion said and Fulton nodded. "But the stern look on your face says it all, before you tell us sit down actually comes in handy here." he said and Orion nodded in agreement. "And instead of just coach, it's parent all the time here, but the others clearly never took such a parental tone with you here, that you clearly see me as your worst nightmare."
"But one or the other is bad, but both at once and you're asking for the reprimand from heck here, and secondly you do realize where language like that gets you with us. But who's worse, your mother or your father in said wrath if you get in trouble. And for whatever reason, either in school or the cops?" he asked and they swallowed hard. "Though mom is bad, you're worse dad, as in addition to my father, you're my coach." Charlie said and he nodded then sternly then.
"So take getting into a grudge match with the Varsity, though I said stay clear of them, what's another way to say what I would tell the boy you guys are following right now?" he asked sternly and Fulton translated the remark. "Just what the heck were you guys thinking of here, if it wasn't me that walked in here, you guys could have been expelled. Now for the last time, stay away from the Varsity right now!'." he said and Orion nodded as he crossed his arms sternly.
"When I act like a soldier leading his cadets now, but you see that the Halls, Lester, Fulton and my son don't mind as they moved behind me. But anything could get you deactivated, but walk out that door, you're not coming back without an attitude change here. So think hard, it's like Gordon said to Adam's father, he plays for the Hawks, he'll have to forfeit every game. For the rest of the season, for you, you leave and you're deactivated till you stop acting here now."
"Like a spoiled brat throwing a temper tantrum and start acting your age again, but siding with whoever between the duo gets boxed for raising his voice at me. That gets you boxed as well right now in all truth, so with those words in mind right now. Think carefully, you agree with him, you get boxed, you don't say anything, it ends there as my first lecture hits. But like Charlie said, is mutiny the only answer to everything, as you do, in siding with Peter or David."
"Your brothers are wise enough to keep their mouths shut as they respect me as much as they do Gordon, now that the truth came out two days after he gave that lie to you." he said and Guy's father nodded as he completed that. "Charlie's decision to ask, before Gordon went to this decision, and right to Ted, who is a real youth league coach, and a teacher, a parent. Was the correct decision, he's said captain in every way you can say it, so why listen to Peter at all."
"When the little brat and his accomplice went right from malicious mischief and straight to attempted murder on 3 counts?!" Tremaine said and they swallowed hard at that remark, realizing their parents now saw the duo as a couple juvenile delinquents then. "That's right they're acting like delinquents and enough frankly, that we'd rather you not be around them. Or the next whatever it is, is enough to land you in jail next!" Averman snapped sternly to them.
"Do you want to be taken from us as your parents, because I guarantee, that listening to anything Peter says is a one way ticket to social services now. That brat has serious problems and enough, that any psychiatrist hear whatever he did next now. And learns you're with him, is going to be like the kid blaming every murder on the damn doll. Till they take him away from his mother, till the little monster nearly kills the detective next, followed by the psychiatrist."
"And the witch doctor, Karp and Peter's path is leading towards a life of crime." he said and they swallowed as Orion crossed his arms sternly. "This is exactly what nearly caused the narrator to be taken from his family, staying out of trouble. That was his only chance to stay with Patrick, and Emilio knew this, as if he'd been with the narrator at the time the murder happened. And the murder never would happen and instead it turns into a self defense case right now."
"But these brats are close to going from malicious mischief and straight to murder and they could get you in enough trouble to have the state decide to take you away from us." he said as their parents looked at them then. "If this means preventing you from being taken from us that we got to knuckle down harder on you, well then so be it. And when one us is the said one cop and the other father your future coach, we're setting the schedule starting now, you guys."
"And before you get in enough trouble to have you brought home by the cops and said cop is not Peter either." Averman said sternly as Monroe drove it home then. "Rick, you said that Charlie and Lester always with Ted after school, Ted at times now. He was supervising their practice after finishing his JV practice, before taking them back to his house now. As they're in a study period till we get off work now?" Goldberg ask and Orion nodded and they nodded then.
"Then after your first practice ends, I'd rather they all be in a group study period, as this outside the school system, they get those scholarships, it's grades mean being eligible to play." Tremaine said and Orion nodded. "And tell me now, who is the real captain of this team exactly, who prevented Lester from getting arrested. Who is the only one considering your safety girls, who agreed with their coach, to protect you girls?" Monroe asked them sternly then to this.
And they swallowed hard as Jesse left his elbow on Charlie's shoulder, as Fulton, Averman and Terry crossed their arms. "You realize you keep following them and the state's going to take you away from us and we won't get you back till you're 18. Just who is the one trying to prevent that by any means necessary, and their own father is your future coach?!" Chef Joseph Goldberg said with a stern growl and they all looked at Charlie and their parents nodded sternly then.
"That's right we're sick of them chasing away your coaches, or them doing something that could get you in trouble. And enough you could be taken away from us, and this is the end of the line." Averman's father said and they swallowed. "Thanks again Charlie for getting me out of this, but that makes 5 for Adam joining the team, 5 against, I want to see that tape." Averman said and Charlie nodded as they realized they saw the tape and everything Peter told them.
Was about to be revamped. "The truth is out, but mom always said that Peter's eaves-dropping was going to get him in trouble one day." Charlie said and Averman and Jesse nodded. "And it does finally when we run right into your father, as he give his direct opinions. And on Bombay's current training." Averman said in response. "Dead duck walking, and thank you for telling me that, but guys, listen to me all of you, in order to prevent you from getting hurt here, girls."
"Fulton should be focusing on you while Banks does scoring." he said and they straightened. "So that's what he never wanted us to consider right now, Fulton should be protecting us. And while Banks helps the guys with the shooting?" Tammy Duncan said in shock then and he nodded sternly. "Exactly, Gordon got in our heads where with having 2 girls on this team is concerned, the only option till we get him a counterpart enforcer is to have him protecting you now."
"You get hit hard enough your cycle could start sooner then necessary." Claire said sternly and she and Connie looked down, realizing they never considered that thought. "And of you, the only one with a parent who is a real coach just happens to be Charlie right now. That Charlie clearly asked Ted what his reasoning would be to add Banks to the team right now. And the truth comes out with it, before you get in enough trouble to land yourselves in detention here now."
"But that attitude is not being tolerated." Joseph Goldberg said and they looked down at that, realizing that they been completely unfair to him the last 3 days. "Whatever you said to him is basically going to come back to haunt you in later years, but sell out is the same. And as saying traitor right now, you sold out after getting those scholarships right now. And another word for this is deja vu, as Karp's counterpart triggers that fuse, before his anger gets thrown now."
"At a fellow student and gets him and Fulton expelled." Andrew Reed said and they swallowed hard. "So what goes around, comes around, they chose Gordon, you call them traitors, you chose me, if we never knew sooner he is my son right now in truth. And they call you a sell out, as you went traitor first by calling him that, same difference right now, guys." Orion said and the quartet looked down, realizing there was no excuse they could give, knowing he was right then.
"Girls, listen to me carefully, Fulton needs to focus on protecting you girls right now while you guys are doing the shooting right now. But 'if we make it to the playoffs' is really, 'if we are to make it to the playoffs, and Banks can and could be a very big help.'." Orion said and they nodded in shock, realizing they been lied to then as Averman said it sharply at that news. "Like Charlie said, dead duck walking here." he said and Orion nodded as he answered him then.
"We're lucky we caught this in time, before those two get you put in detention, for insulting his mother, me and Gordon." he added and the quintet crossed their arms. "Which side of it?" Claire asked and Fulton passed her the alternate reality book focused on the TNG's version. And they all nodded in shocked fury. "And to say this now, what Gordon or I do in our personal life is none of your concern, is that clear?" Orion asked sternly and the 8 quickly nodded at his remark then.
"The insult is enough to land these two in detention for 4 months and doing laps for a month if I heard that, only triple the amount if you tell Kristen this directly if they provoke him." he said and Fulton nodded sternly at that. "We've been tricked, so you heard the entire exchange, told the Halls and then called us?" Averman asked sternly, realizing they been lied to. "Yeah and his remark, in our parents eyes, becomes if we are to make it." Charlie said and he nodded in fury.
"That's what he was trying to say, if we are to make it?" he said and Orion nodded. "Yeah it is, but like I said not wrong to side with the parent if said parent just happens to be your coach." he said and the quintet looked down, realizing they been completely unfair to Charlie then. "But 1) in order to protect the girls, Fulton has to be focused, one or the other, 2) now is this. With Banks on the team, we even the playing field against the Hawks now with my training you."
"You know pro hockey player, though retired last year now, I can teach you plenty and you are drawing on pro athlete training, and now beat out the Hawks for the first time since 1973. And 3) as your uncle in addition to your coach, we make decisions you don't always agree with. But have to follow nonetheless right now, the reaction on Saturday you guys, in truth. That was uncalled for, when he was just being a loyal captain to his coach and Fulton following his lead."
"In our eyes as adults that's fine right now, but Charlie told his mother the truth, the near car accident, before I told her what you and he have been doing, since we met. Just after you got jumped by Banks and his Hawk trio, in her eyes this is fine, she knows where he is. And that laid a precedence for the parents of the rest of the team, that your practice schedule now. Got upped to 4 times a week and the last is a practice game." he said and the 9 nodded gently.
"Practice game, so we can prepare for the real one as these games are on Saturday, but how the heck do the Hawks, or said Global opponents, expect to beat out pro hockey training?" Averman asked and he nodded. "I know and that's why he chose me when your time with Gordon comes to an end now, that summer training, if Gordon leaves for a tryout with the minors. You got me training you and we keep destroying the Hawks as they see what it's to be losers now finally."
"To a team not used to losing this is a massive blow to the ego right now, but think about it right now, what would have happened. Son, he told me the truth and then dropped the bomb, to get you out of the hotseat, so you're both off the hook with the cops, as Hank dropped in." he said and Averman sighed in relief. "Thanks Charlie for getting me out of that, I was trying to figure out a way to tell them, in what he blackmailed me into, before the truth came out right now."
"But what these idiots did was stone cold certainty I wasn't sure, if this was a rumor or not." he said and they nodded. "I know, but if you never met me sooner and Gordon turned you over to me, what do you have that Charlie doesn't, till now. And said the reason he was that desperate to keep Gordon from leaving?" Orion said and they closed their eyes in realization. "You're the brainiac in the team Averman, what happens if I never found him?" Charlie asked him gently.
"Then the coach just turning us over to him when starting high school, you start to change after a training period of going without your C, results in a change of personality. Of how we know you till you see Karen, change back and then come home to the team." He said as he felt his rage start growing at what the duo nearly caused and the quintet nodded in anger. "So basically if we never nipped this in the bud, Charlie turns into Peter and Fulton the follower side."
"And of Karp right now that it gets him in trouble and enough, you have to go on OSS before this gets him expelled from the academy?" Averman said sternly and Orion nodded to him. "The truth just came out, your brother is my son, your aunt was late, but afraid to tell me. She and I took a step back and you guys walked right into me." he said and that did it for the Avermans. "I walked right into you, every time we see you, I see he's growing more attached to you."
"And by the minute, like you're his father, he's nearly called you dad like 50 times in a month, before the truth comes out and it's you're really his father." he said and Orion nodded gently. "If you never gave that offer, it's too darn close, tomorrow results in us getting detention. And because those idiots provoked him!" Averman snapped and Jesse straightened in fury at that. "I knew something changed, but everytime he sees you, I see the look of a son to his father."
"In his eyes, adult counterpart, but mentor is the next best thing to father, but he gets all three with you, now that you told us the truth. Peter so help me god right now, you are so lucky Charlie, Averman and I found him this soon, or your but is mine for the change in personality." Jesse said with a growl and Averman nodded sternly as he answered that remark then. "Then I'm relieved we found you this soon right now, Uncle Ted and with those words in mind here."
"Alright Charlie, I'm sorry, I was wrong, I get it now and I take it back, I take back what I said here!" Averman said and he nodded as the sextet realized what they said and nodded quickly to that. "Us too, we take it back, we take it back, in order to understand, we need to hear. In just what Jesse heard to remove it, to nail these idiots to the wall." Connie Monroe said and they nodded. "Dead duckling in the duo now here." Orion said and their parents nodded to that.
"These are a Pekins dressed in hockey gear, but no black stripes mixed in with it, so you're a Pekin, rather then a Mallard, if you were a real duck." he explained and the team nodded smiling. "So why add the yellow to our green?" Guy asked and he chuckled. "When choosing names that egg hatched, it's been 3 weeks son, and you're preteen in truth. So another word for you is a…" he said and Charlie tried to keep the smile off his face as Averman said it for him.
"Wait, we've got yellow on these jerseys, ducklings when just hatched are yellow and….." Averman said and then they smiled as they looked down their parents chuckled. "Yeah duckling, you're a duckling." Orion said and they smiled and nodded. "We just hatched and are getting better, but still a long way to go, but our real father duck is you. When Bombay is not around so that helps as you train us now." Jesse said smiling then and he nodded as their parents smiled.
"And I take it you never expected I know you, the five of you, on sight the second I see you?" he asked and they looked down and their parents chuckled. "Your parents are my best friends guys, your brother was what I look like when I was your age. But you to your mother baby, Jesse to Jason, Greg to Joe, Lester to Rick and Guy to Adam." he said and they nodded. "Our families are the best of friends we know and knew each other all our lives in truth now."
"Which explains why I said that to your brother, after realizing the boys walked right into me after said stunt with the purse." he said and Averman nodded in relief. "Best start using the real title again, so Uncle Ted." Connie said and he nodded gently to her. "Well this explains why dad moved back to town and decided to stay put, he knew sooner or later. You were going to touch bases with him and we stay permanently now, Conway hates hockey, but you're a pro player."
"You're Charlie's father and a real coach, if you're dressed like this?" Greg Goldberg asked and he nodded to him. "I am, but I guess these guys never considered of all the coaches it could be that your brother chose it had to be me right now. After the incident with the purse and your getting jumped by the Hawks right now at the time here. But your brother started growing more attached to me here with every encounter til the axe fell and his mother told me now."
"Good first impression and the attachment resulted in Charlie's hugging me on my arrival at the diner." he explained and her father smiled. "We ran into each other twice, before I saw Lester and Charlie at the pond you were doing practice at. And dressed in your new Jerseys right now, but I just got off work when the axe fell today finally in truth, time's up." he told their parents and they nodded. "Like I said, good to see you again." Averman said smiling and he nodded.
"Again?" Guy Tremaine asked and he nodded. "Yeah we saw him the week before Coach started us, in deciding not to leave the scene. And we checked on him after the idiots almost caused a car accident, in a fast exchange right now. As these idiots pulked the same stunt that Culkin did with the darn dummy, that caused a 15 car. He said if we ever needed a back up coach to give him a call, and Charlie, by the looks of it right now."
"Just took him up on his offer right now." he said and the quintet nodded. "Hey Ted long time man, you doing okay?" Eric Monroe asked him and he nodded, as his daughter Connie looked at him and the trio looked between the quartet. "What's going on exactly, if you wanted to see us exactly?" Averman asked and Charlie crossed his arms. "Case of dead duck walking here, you better see this." Charlie said then as he rewound it then.
"What's this we're watching right now?" Gregory Goldberg asked and Hall said it then. "What Peter heard was 1/3 of the conversation Ted here got the tape that reveals the rest of that conversation. But after we're done, we need to have a serious talk here right now over this as what was said the other night. You're in big trouble, but Ted here is Charlie's father and your new coach in later years." he said and the sextet looked at Orion then.
And in shock as the recording started a second time then as their fathers crossed their arms then sternly. "Gordon, hey Bombay, you stop when I'm talking to you son, you trying to sabotage me here?" they heard from Reilly then,"Hurts like a bitch when the law starts working against you, doesn't it Jack." Gordon said sternly and he said it quickly at that news, as the quintet froze up in shock at that remark.
'Whoa, I never expected to hear that from him right now.' Monroe thought in agreement then sternly."But you have a whole team worth of Banks's, one player won't make much of a difference." he said sternly and they heard a shocked remark at that. "Even with Banks, just what are you trying to prove here, with that bunch of losers?"Reilly said and Gordon said it in a mocking tone then, though protective, in the Ducks case, but cruel mocking.
In the Hawks cases. "That's right, 'they' are losers aren't 'they', and we hate losers don't we, 'they' don't even deserve to live." he said and they froze up in shock, realizing he meant Reilly and the Hawks. "Again even with Banks gone, one player like him gone won't make much of a difference. At least we're playing by the rules, and for the record, I'm free of you at last." he said and Reilly said it shaking, then in shock.
"You been coaching for 30 years, Jack, but thing of it is, that as an adult, Ted and I could do this even better and even blindfolded right now. Ted has a teaching and coaching job at Eden Hall academy, but thing of it. Now is I see him coming to the games, his eyes on Conway right now. But Banks now, we both see it this way that we could do this even better and blindfolded here."
"But these kids are not so far gone you turned them into cold blooded killers, as of yet right now, but you're as bad as the father on that hockey episode. So exploiting any chemo patient's if they're 1 or 2 any cancer patient?" he asked and Orion knew he went pale at that remark then. "Banks's sister has cancer, doesn't she, and he's desperate to help her, you and his father are exploiting that."
"That's illegal Jack, and just wait till the judge hears exactly, in why exactly, I'd even call this into question, but that kid is me, Conway is Ted. But you ever consider every parent in the city hear why you're going about it like this. Putting a certain amount on the goals you make, this could, now, get you arrested for an arraignment, if there's an injury so serious right now."
"It puts said opposing team member in the hospital?" he said and Orion slashed his finger across his throat and Charlie put it on pause. "Darn right he and you could do this better we fixed our connection and we're now acting like loyal ducklings in a row. And following father duck, like a group of ducklings." Jesse said and he chuckled as he saw Connie raised said pillow. "Put the added down-down, before you get it duckling." Orion said and his mother chuckled.
"You know what happens if those pillows burst and we got a mess to clean up." Hall said and as they heard a bemused meow answer that remark and he started laughing at that. "Yes and you hate feathers getting stuck to your head and your fur, I think that's chicken. And not duckling down, girl." he said and she gave a relieved mew to that news as Charlie stroked her head fur. "He's papa cat to me, I got a baby sister." he said and she gave a mew of understanding then.
"Instead of feathers we're covered in yellow down, so yeah, duckling." Terry said and Connie's mother chuckled. "That's the part Peter never heard, Bombay knew that his sister is sick right now." Connie said in shock and he nodded as the sextet exchanged irritated looks. "Reilly is a very sadistic when it it comes to winning in all truth, but he stays with him. And that road leads right to prison, Anderson's hockey episode." he said and the quartet nodded sternly then.
"Ted, Ted, he keeps bringing you up, you're his best friend, Coach?" Guy said and he nodded. "I am and till we fix this I'm taking over, but this has Karp and Marks facing a more stern coach now." he said and they nodded. "Keep it going son, I want to hear what else was said here." Connie's father said to him and he nodded. "And you're clearly the obvious choice in captains here." Orion said and he nodded as he started it again then.
