(Hey Everyone, wow... this REALLY took a long time... which I apologize for and hope this chapter is worth the wait. I was sick with, if you could believe it, a summer cold. and I was away for the weak for a cruise to Bermuda. Beautiful country, friendly people. and really... REALLY impossible to find a good internet connection to finish this chapter. Not to mention finishing my final year of college and graduating while... well I digress...

But, anyway, here's the new chapter on what the Maximals have done while looking for more signals from the Stasis pods from around the Pokemon world.

Optimus was asleep on his berth when his alarm woke him for the new day. As he got up he stretched his body before walking around to his desk. He had to get some reports in his personal databanks when Cybertron comes to find them. Everything about the creatures known as Pokémon and how the humans on this planet were more evolved than those on the planet Earth who, during the time of the Autobots and Decepticons, were still in political conflicts or distrust with each other. Optimus could only wish that people were much like the people of this planet in this unknown galaxy.

And there was the matter of the Pokémon… How is it that he planet so closely similar to earth have creatures whose process of evolution seem to be an iconic thing? …Optimus had no idea, but he was a captain of scientific exploration vessel and it's his job, as well as the job of his crew, to find out. And part of that exploration is to study the culture of this planet. Remembering about his study of the culture had reminded him about the Pokémon Gym Battle that Ash has part take with the recently met Gym leader of the Kalos Region. As well as Serena's Performer Debut as he began his log about the past couple of days' events.

"Computer, begin private audio recording of Captain's log." Optimus ordered.

"Acknowledge. Please state vocal input and identification code."

"Optimus Primal, Leader of Maximal science team and Captain of Transwarp exploration vessel, Axalon. Serial No. Alpha-496.22." Optimus Primal recited as he stared unblinking into the computer screen.

"Vocal input and identification code accepted. Welcome Optimus Primal. Begin captain's log." The computer stated.

Optimus took a deep breath "The date is Iota-Zeta 620.13: It has been almost two weeks since we landed on this new planet in a galaxy unknown to us and we have begun studying the local habitats of local life-forms of both human like creatures and also another native species known as Pokemon. Of course our war with the Predacon criminals lead by Megatron, the thief of the artifact Golden Disk. As stated in my previous report the Predacons have found and reprogrammed three of our missing crew mates into Predacons, a loss I hold myself personally responsible for."

He paused a bit before returning to his report, "Today's report is about how this planet's culture seems to revolve majority around the Pokémon creatures found on this planet. One of which is a form of one-on-one duel like fights which the locals call "Pokémon Battles" to either settle dispute, personal conflicts, or even in sporting regulations. The first notice of this was when we received the signal of a second missing Stasis pod. But the battle I must report involved an establishment known as a "Pokémon Gym" where the "Gym Leader" faces a challenger of said gym to win an item of importance, referenced as "Gym Badge" for a much larger competition within this regional area known as the Kalos League."

He then remembered, "First sub section of report involves the Local "Pokémon trainer" mentioned in previous report as challenger in official gym battle against the Coumarine Gym Leader Ramos who specializes in sub-category "Grass-Type" Pokémon within the Kalos Region."

Optimus remembered when he went over to the bridge of his ship as he was greeted by both Rhynox and Cheetor as the later said, "You're just in time, Big Bot. the Gym battle's about to start."

"Indeed. I would like to see how these Pokémon Gym battles are compared to the ancient gladiatorial battles in Kaon." Kabubot stated, as he was unconscious during the battle between Ash and Pikachu against Megatron and Scythcutter.

Foxfire looked worried, "Oh, I hope that nothing bad happens to our friends."

"Ah don't worry about it FF. I saw them in battle before, as did you just yesterday, they'll be fine." Cotton-Buns assured the Fennekin maximal.

Foxfire smiled as Rhynox spoke, "I'm getting a signal from Clemont's backpack."

The main monitor showed how Ash was at one side of the battle field while Ramos is on the other. The referee declared the match as an official gym battle and both sides are allowed to pick three Pokémon, whereas the challenger is allowed to substitute Pokémon.

Ramos then let out a small Pokémon with a round, blue Pokémon with red beady eyes and small, round feet and tail. Three cotton puffs, almost as large as the body itself, extend off it: one on each arm, and one on top of its head. The appearance of this Pokémon made Ratitrap begin laughing, "Wat de heck is dat?!"

Only to be kicked by Cotton Buns who said, "Don't you dare laugh at a Pokémon just because of how it looks stubby!"

"Cotton Buns is correct friend Ratitrap, besides is it not the cutest?" Foxfire asked.

Ratitrap rolled his optics, "Still ridiculous look'n."

"Other than Chespin, and the Sunflora, we never did see what a Grass-type Pokémon look like." Optimus said, rubbing his chin.

Turning to Rhynox he asked, "What does the Poke'dex say about this species?"

Rhynox brought it up on a side screen and read, "Says here it is known as Jumpluff. A Grass/Flying Type. It drifts around seasonal winds and releases cottony spores as it travels."

Readding more he added, "Much like Ratitrap's Poké mode it is the final evolutionary form of it's line."

"Looks like Ash has sent out Fletchinder as his Pokémon."

Soon the battle began with Ash starting things off with Flame Charge, however it was quickly countered by a move that related to the cotton puffs on its arms and became a sort of shield.

Most of the Maximals watched in surprise as the obvious fire type attack did not do any damage to the weaker opponent.

"What the spotted heck happened?!" Cheattor asked, not understanding it.

Kabubot spoke, "It would appear that the gym leader's Pokémon used a move that raised its defenses against an obvious elemental disadvantage to Grass-Type."

Absoltron nodded, "I agree, it kept Jumpluff from receiving any damage from Fletchinder's Flame Charge."

"Whoa…" Chattor said as he watched.

Soon the screen got too bright for the maximals as Rhynox stated, "It's using Sunny Day. But that could mean…"

They heard Clemont finish Rhynox's thought as it about This Jumpluff's ability being "Chlorophyll" which increases its natural speed in sunny weather.

Soon they saw Ash's Fletchinder use Flame Charge again, only to be dodged. Ash had Fletchinder use Flame Charge again but this time it hit and they flew past the trees even as it used Cotton Guard. A flash of light came and Jumpluff fell to the ground. Zooming in, the Maximals saw that the Grass/Flying type was knocked out. This was announced by the Referee that Ash and Fletchinder won the match against Ramos and Jumpluff.

While Cheattor, Cotton Buns, and Foxfire were cheering for Ash's victory. Rhynox and Absoltron nodded at the victory. Optimus was impressed by Ash's ability to lead his Pokémon to victory in this battle, and by how he did not let the pressure of losing get to him. Kabubot remained stoic, however, he too was impressed by the boy's natural ability with his Pokémon. He even saw how Ash had enjoyed these Pokémon battles, but not for reasons that Kabubot could understand.

They all heard Ramos say how impressed he was by Ash's victory, before bringing out another grass type that looked like a bell with eyes.

Rhynox pulled up the info and said, "This is a Weepinbell, a Grass/Poison-Type. It says here that Weepinbell covers its opponents with a poisonous powder before catching them. This species is the middle form of its evolutionary line."

"A poison-type… Much like most of the Predacons." Optimus stated, hoping Ash had a strategy to defeat this dangerous Type.

Unfortunately, Fletchinder had fallen to the poison powder, Razor Leaf, and Slam. Though Fletchinder fought bravely, Maximal brave, it still lost and which made Weepinbell the winner. Ash then called Fletchinder back to rest and remain strong until either the Pokémon Center or an Antidote to the effects. He soon called Hawlucha who was both a Flying/Fighting-Type.

"Hmm… this one appears to have the type advantage." Kabubot thought. Hawlucha seemed to be doing well… that is before the missed High Jump Kick and though he fought bravely as well… The repeat of the defeat made Kabubot growl with annoyance.

Ash then returned Hawlucha to his Pokéball too.

"Poor Ash…" Cheattor said, concerned for his human friend.

"Don't worry little cat, I'm sure Ash know how to pull himself out of this if he's been battling as much as he has." Absoltron said, comforting the younger Maximal.

Ratitrap shushed them and said, "Da kid's choos'n his last Pokémon."

All the Maximals watched with anticipation as who Ash will choose, before seeing it was Frogadier. Which made Ratitrap, Cheattor, Foxfire, Cotton Buns, and partially Kabubot jerk and flinch anime style.

"Oh for boot'n up coal… doesn't de kid know dat's the worse Pokémon to fight in Grass-types?!" Ratitrap asked, not able to believe it.

Optimus however, raised a brow and scratched his chin, "I'm not too sure… That isn't the look of someone desperate."

Catching what Optimus was saying, Kabubot nodded, "Indeed. *Snarls* the boy must have a reason for this."

They saw how Ash began the battle with a Water Pulse, which Weepinbell dodged, but Ash followed it up by making Frogadier use Double Team. Ratitrap and Cheattor's eyes are spinning as they said, "Oh my head…"

"Impressive. Worthy of a ninja." Kabubot growled.

Though Weepinbell seemed found and trip Frogadier up with Grass Knot. The same move that did more damage to Hawlucha. Just as Ramos ordered Weepinbell to use Poison Powder again, Ash told Frogadier to use its ruffles as a mask to either filter or block out the poison. Rhynox was surprised by the boy's ingenuity.

Then used a Flying-Type move known as "Aerial Ace" that cut another Grass Knot then dealt great deal of damage to Weepinbell before it fell unconscious. This made Ash the winner. Foxfire and Cotton-Buns cheered as they jumped up and down, cheering, "He won! He won!"

Rhynox nodded commenting, "Not too shabby."

Ramos then sent out his Gogoat as his last Pokémon.

"It seems he chose his steed as his last Pokémon." Absoltron stated, remembering the goat like Pokémon the first time they met Ramos, curious about this Pokémon.

Rhynox accessed the information, "This Pokémon is known as a Gogoat. A Grass Type. They mostly inhabit the mountain regions, it can also tell how its trainer is feeling by subtle shifts in the grip on its horns. This empathetic sense lets them run as if one being."

"An empathic Pokémon?" Cheattor asked, then to Optimus, "How do you think Ash will be able to handle this one, Big Bot?"

"I don't know Cheattor. But if I can say about Ash after meeting him, he has a natural ability in overcoming obstacles. Have faith in him." Optimus told Cheattor who nodded and turned to watch the battle unfold.

After Frogadier's Water Pulse collided with Gogoat's Vine Whip, they saw how Ash tried Double Team again, but Gogoat used Vine Whip to take them all out and dealt damage to Frogadier.

The maximals then saw Ramos lightly touch one of Gogoat's horn, understanding that they are both having fun with this battle. Gogoat returned to the battle and used Razor Leaf to distract Frogadier before coming in with another Razor Leaf from above.

"How… interesting." Kabubot saw, seeing a move that was usually used for offense to be used as a defensive evasion technique.

Ash then employs the same strategy against Gogoat, by first using Double Team to distract Gogoat and then attacking with Aerial Ace. The younger Maximals thought this would've worked, but, Gogoat responded with a Horn Leech attack, healing itself as well as inflicting even more damage on Frogadier.

"What sort of attack was that?" Cotton-Buns asked, confused by seeing Gogoat's wounds healing.

Rhynox looked it up, "Horn Leech, it allows a Pokémon who uses it to not only damage its opponent but also uses the energy lost by the opponent to heal itself in the process."

Gogoat then uses Leech Seed on Frogadier, draining a lot of its energy.

"It would appear that the boy chose the wrong Pokémon for this battle." Kabubot stated, seeing as all the grass-type moves are doing a great deal of damage to a water-type like Frogadier.

Ramos tells Ash that Gogoat can use Leech Seed so well because Gogoat and Ramos trust each other completely.

They could see Ash struggling with Ramos' words, saying that he believes in his Pokémon, too, and it looked like he began to succumb to the pressure and lose hope of winning the battle.

"Don't give up, Ash!" Cheattor called, though Ash couldn't hear him.

"We believe in you!" Foxfire cheered, being caught up in what Cheattor was.

"You can still win this!" Cotton-Buns shouted, following the others.

The older Maximals looked at the younger Maximals with either amused or bemused expressions by how the three of them were acting while watching the match. However, it looked it was Pikachu who provided some much-needed encouragement got Ash out of his worries.

It would appear to the battle experienced Maximals that Gogoat and Ramos were getting even more excited about the battle and Gogoat uses Razor Leaf to surround Frogadier.

While Frogadier is desperately fending off the Razor Leaf attack, Ash looked like he remembered something then instructed Frogadier to ignore the Razor Leaf and find Gogoat, which Frogadier does, by focusing on and and lands a perfect Aerial Ace.

Ash then had Frogadier use a combination of Double Team and Water Pulse, Frogadier defeats Gogoat and wins Ash the battle.

"Yes!" Cheattor cried out pumping his fist while both of the female maximals cheered again. Kabubot nodded at the boy's and frog like Pokémon's determination, finding them worthy warriors.

"Aww Yea' Dat's w'at ah'm Talk'n 'bout!" Ratitrap exclaimed loudly after seeing Ash win the match. His outburst made everyone look at him in surprise.

The short Maximal coughed and said, "Da kid did okahy."

Optimus chuckled at Ratitrap's reaction as he looked back at Ash receiving his Gym Badge, mentally commenting, feeling proud and amazed by Ash's accomplishments in winning the the Gym battle. 'That boy he is something else… I wonder if this is how Optimus Prime felt when he met Spike and his son Daniel.'

He would activate his comms. Activating the commincation device that the group had, "Primal to Pokémon Trainers, do you read me?"

Soon a voice responded, "Huh? Optimus?"

It was Serena, Optimus then said, "Serena, do you think you can let me talk to Ash? My team and I wish to congratulate him on his victory."

"Oh! Of course." She said before things were quiet while Ash asked, "Hello? Optimus?"

"Hello Ash." Optimus said smiling, "We wanted to congratulate you on your victory."

"You guys saw it?!" Ash asked, surprised.

Cheattor was the first one to speak as he exclaimed, "You were awesome in that battle Ash!"

"Truly glorious!" Foxfire added.

Cotton-Buns then added, "You kicked butt out there!"

Chuckling a bit, he said, "Thanks you guys. Knowing you were cheering me on really made it worthwhile."

"It's what friends are for Ash." Cheattor said, smiling before asking, "So you got four gym battles, right? What's next."

"Well after I get my Pokémon checked out at the Pokémon center it's Serena's turn to win her Pokémon Performers Showcase. Then after that we're going to Luminos City for my Fifth battle against Clemont." Ash said.

Foxfire, feeling strong emotions from that stated, "I hope you succeed in this endeavor Serena."

"Thanks Foxfire." Serena said through the coms.

Optimus finished his detail report of how the gym battle ended before adding, "The way Pokemon trainer and Pokemon work together could almost be compared to a "Master and pet" relationship to those unfamiliar to Pokémon and the strange symbiosis like relationship shared with the humans on this planet. However, personally watching this official gym battle with my own optical sensors revealed that is not what I saw. What I witness was not a master and pet, but two teammates working together in order to overcome a way of how their opponent battles and adapt to situations that the challenger may not be aware of in the future battles. And the Gym Leader teaches their own respective experiences to these challengers rather than force them through it in academic sense. From this firsthand experience it appeared that the local trainer "Ash Ketchum" has indeed gained more from this battle than the Gym Badge that he wanted to win. He also has gained knowledge for him to improve himself as a person and as a trainer for the next Gym Battle in what appeared to be the capital city of the Kalos Region called "Luminos City." For his fifth Gym Battle against Gym Leader/traveling companion Clemont. "

He then stated, "End of sub-section report, entitled "Gym Battle". Begin of sub-section report entitled "Performer Showcase". The next day it was finally the time for Pokémon Performer "Serena" to partake in her debut of a "Pokemon Performer Showcase", a more peaceful competition where human and Pokémon work together towards a goal not involved in physical combat as Pokémon Battles. This competition could be compared to a beauty pageant cross referencing Talent Show competition found in Earth academic institutions to raise moral. It is also to show off aesthetic if not physical beauty and team cooperation between trainer and Pokémon in competition."

"Most of my team had sat and watched as they broadcasted the showcase. Some of those present were there to show their support for Serena, others were there to learn more for cultural reference. The only two who did not show up were Kabubot, for reasons of it being beneath a warrior as him. And Ratitrap for thinking it was to… girlie for him." Optimus stated before getting into more detail.

Optimus walked into the bridge as he saw the younger maximals had turned the command center into a sort of living room for everyone to watch. Sitting in the middle of them on the floor was Foxfire who was staring in expected excitement.

Meanwhile at the Predacon base. Terrasaur asked, annoyed to be here, "Remind me again why we have to sit through this stupid frou-frou show?"

"Megatron ordered to see how this is any different from the Pokémon battles that Team Rocket conveyed to us as per our alliance." Skorupinok repeated. He then held his clamp up and stated, "And Megatron's orders are to be followed, no matter how… strange the subject is."

Croaker however, asked again, "I get why he said it, yo. But still why?"

"Buzzinator not get why thizz zzo important…" Buzinator buzzed sitting sulkily by all of this.

The only ones silent were Ariadosus, Serviparella, and Megatron himself as they watched for study reasons alone. Scythecutter was the only one who was not sitting through this and Megatron is fine with that as he was a warrior and trusted his instincts though the scyther type let him down with his battle against the human boy and his electric rodent.

'Let us see if these showcases are as entertaining as Pokémon battles. After all one must know everything about their opponent… Yes..' Megatron thought as he watched, a cruel smile forming on his metallic lips.

Serena, Shauna, and Jessie arrive at the Coumarine City Pokémon Showcase, ready to compete. Palermo arrives in a limousine and declines to make a comment to the crowd of people and reporters there, making it very clear that she doesn't want to be there but is obligated to watch the Showcase. As the three girls are preparing for the Showcase, Ash, Clemont, Bonnie, James, and Meowth are sitting in the audience, excitedly anticipating the upcoming performances.

The stage darkens as a heavy French accented voice spoke as a wavelength of energy flowed upwards, "Bonjour people of Kalos, and all the fans of Pokémon. Ze Coumarine Rookie Class Pokemon Showcase, ze celebrations of beginnings, is about to begin. With grace and elegance!"

From electrical came a shape before a human male, who was wearing a blue and black styled suit, parts of his suit light up like the electricity, wearing a Klefki mask. Jumped out with his walking stick spinning in his hand before he landed expertly at center stage. The spot light shined on him as the man bowed, telling everyone, "I will be your guide through zis splendid dream world."

He then removed his mask as he introduced himself, "Monsieur Pierre!"

Pointing his cane around he stated, "I invite all of you at 'ome, and zose of you in ze audience to be apart of ze beauty unsurpassed anywhere else!"

"Our gifted performers and zeir Pokémon are to be sure to fill each and every one of your 'earts with magnificence, awe, and delight!" He added moving his cane around before looking at the camera smiling as a klefki flew down towards him, catching the attention of not only the humans but the transformers as well. Two ordinary keys in it's ring while one of them seemed out of place.

"Hmm?"

"What's that?"

Foxfire shushed the two talking Maximals as she seemed focused on showcase.

Klefki opened its ring and held the key in the middle, with the green heart shaped gem on it out for its human trainer to take with a, "Merci Klefki."

Holding his key holding hand up he declared, "And ze winner of the Rookie-Class will receive ze coveted Princess Key."

"So that's the item that they wish to win…" Absoltron stated, curious as to why it was a key instead of a badge.

Foxfire then said, "It is beautiful."

"You okay FF? You seem pretty out of it." Cotton-Buns asked concerned while seeing how intensely her friend is watching the competition.

Monsieur Pierre however continued, "When a Pokémon Performer has won zree Princess Keys."

He then made holograms of three stylish keys similar in shape but different heads of the keys floating above as he continued, before they became a tiara like crown, "She gets to compete in ze Master Class. And ze winner of ze prestigious Master Class will be crowned Kalos Queen in all of 'er glory and majesty!"

When the bottom of his cane touched the floor the maximals saw the hologram of the crown dissolving into sparkles as he spoke, holding his cane up where Klefki seem to be using as a perch of some kind, "So sit back and get ready as I take you by ze 'and and lead you to our Pokémon Showcase Performances!"

"And now I present ze zeme performance for ze first stage. And zis exciting theme is…" Monsieur Pierre paused before several shaped holograms appeared over his head and he announced, "Magnifique! It's Pokémon Styling!"

"And now here are our first three performers." Monsieur Pierre stated moving out of the way as three human females arrived up from under the stage. They stood with their partner Pokémon for this round. Under them had the contestants' names there, The girl with the Bulbasaur is known as Shauna, the girl with the Fur-Frou is known as "Alouette", while the last of the performers surprised the Maximals as she was nowhere in the same age as her co-contestants. However her hair color made The older maximals watching, mentally ask, 'That's not who I think it is… is it?'

However, when she began to kiss the crowd with blowing kisses to them they thought, 'It is her…'

Darksyde,
The Predacons stared before Seviparella groaned, "That idiot's gonna blow her cover…"

"I don't think the crowd paying attention…" Skorupinok stated, as annoyed as the female Predacon.

Axalon,
"Using our Pokemon styling Salons, Our Performers will see who can stylize zeir Pokemon in the height of fashion and all within ten minutes. 'owever, only one of our zree performers will advance to ze next stage." Pierre told the people as the camera showed the salons with various things that the user could use to style their pokemon with their form of fashion.

Cotton-Buns rolled her optics, "Oh Primus… I thought this was to show us how they perform, not dress up…"

She then muttered to herself, "As if I need to deal with more of this back on Cybertron…"

"This Performer showcase is more broaden than the straight forwardness of battling…" Optimus pointed out, wondering how Serena will react to this.

Soon a timer was on their screens as they saw the three performers making their pokemon looks in regulations of the theme. While Monsieur Pierre monologues, "Pokemon Styling! A Performer's sense of Style combined with the chemistry between ze performer and zeir Pokemon is put to the test. You are witness a veritavile performance fantastique!"

"These performances are –" Pierre began again before the signal became covered in static.

Looking over Foxfire asked, "What has happened?"

Darksyde,
"Ariadosus?!" Megatron shouted, angrily at his crew's scientist. As he hated having his programs having a problem.

"I'll fix it…" the spider-based Predacon stated as he went and tried to clear the airway frequencies.

Axalon,
"It would seem we're picking up interference…" Rhynox got to work before it finally cleared up to revealed that time was close to ending while those watching could hear a chime while the windows of the salons became obscure so no one could see the finishing touches that the performers were doing for their Pokémon.

Monsieur Pierre announced, "Zere are only a few minutes left! It time for the performers to commence with the secret finishing touches."

The camera cut over to show Pierre speaking forward, "In the blink of an eye you will witness zeir work. Unveiled and out on the runway."

The timer on the screen disappeared as it signaled that they were done, especially as Pierre announced, "Time's up!"

"And now let's view their artistry. I call on Alouette and her pokemon Fur-frou to please proceed out here, to the runway." Pierre turned to the door on his left as Klefki left the top of his can and opened the door to reveal that Alouette gives her Furfrou a Pharaoh trim as they walked out for all to see in the runway.

Cotton-Buns pfted at what she say, "That's got to be the most cliché Pokémon for this thing…"

"The next one is Performer Shauna and her Pokémon Bulbasaur." Pierre announced as Klefki opened the second door opened to reveal Shauna arranges a bouquet of flowers on her Bulbasaur's bulb.

Rhynox noticed how Shauna styled her Bulbasaur's bulb and said, "She certainly is playing into the theme of her Pokémon partner biology… Not too shabby."

Absoltron nodded, agreeing with his large friend's observation.

When Shauna and her bulbasaur were halfway, Pierre announced, "And finally we have Performer Jessilee and her Pokémon, Pumpkaboo."

When the last door opened Jessie walked out and revealed that she had created an enormous black costume for Pumpkaboo themed, in her words, "Beautiful and the Beast" that is appreciated by no one in the audience save James and Meowth.

Some of the Predacons, and Maximals, including Ratitrap who secretly watched the thing all cracked up laughing at what was seen.

"That's gotta be the most ugliest thing I've ever seen!" Terrasaur cried out between laughs.

Croaker was slamming his fist against the ground in a repeating motion as he laughed, "Fer real man, who's that lady tink she's fool'n! If this was a Halloween competition she's sure to win hands down!"

"Jezzie-bot zzcared Buzzinator more than anything…" Buzzinator whimpered hiding behind Megatron.

Ariadosus blinked and stated, "I must admit that does have a predatorily appeal to it."

Serviparella face smacked herself at the sight, "Idiots…"

In the Axalon however,

"What the spotted heck is that supposed to be?!" Cheattor asked, stunned by what he saw when that pumkaboo's trainer revealed what she styled her Pokémon as.

Foxfire then said, trying to find the right words, "I must say that she certainly is thinking outside of the box for this…"

"Yeah I know… and she's crazy for thinking she'd win at a beauty pageant with that thing…" Cotton-Buns stated, translating what Foxfire seemed to be trying to politely say, "Compared to her, the others are prettier looking. Especially that Bulbasaur."

They soon heard chuckling before all the Maximals turned to see Ratitrap falling on his back, his hands on his stomach area as he began to laugh so much he seemed to be having trouble breathing, "She made dat pumpkin of hers so… ridiculous!"

And the bust out laughing more at the sight of it.

Absoltron whispered, "Optimus… isn't that…"

Optimus gently pushed his finger to his lips and said, whispering back, "Better not tell them that. After all Jessie doesn't seem to be up to anything at the moment."

"Understood." Absoltron stated as he returned to watching the competition as Monsieur Pierre was telling everyone that it was time for them to cast their votes.

Once the runway presentation was done all three performers and their partners stood behind Monsieur Pierre when he announced, "Now, Ladies and gentlemen, you will be the judge!"

"Please, grab your glowsticks." The camera focused on the glowsticks before the cameras showed how the people of the audience have begun to pull out the glow sticks they were given upon arrival into the stadium. The camera returned to Pierre and the three performers behind him as he spoke, "When I give the signal, please light up your glow sticks in the colors that corresponds with the performer you have judged to be the crème de la crème."

"Une."

"Duex."

"Tra!"

All of the people at home and the people of the audience got ready to vote for the person that appealed to them with their styling.

The audience votes on their favorite Performer using their glow sticks. Jessie receives no votes from the crowd except for James, Meowth, and most of the Predacons (many of whom were ordered to by Megatron or face his wrath), while a Ariadosus seemed to be the only one who voted purely for Jessie.. While Alouette and Shauna both receive a respectable number of them.

Walking towards the performers, Pierre announced, "The performer who will proceed to the next stage is…"

A moment of silence occurred before Pierre held onto Shauna's hand and raised it high, "Shauna and her fabulous Bulbasaur!"

And Jessie with her Pokémon left the stage in a fit of rage at not being voted the most by the audience.

After several more competitions between Performers, and through that time the Maximals voted for each one fairly before it was finally Serena's turn.

Foxfire seemed to have noticed how Serena was nervous when she appeared on stage for the last round of the first stage of the showcase, but when she and Fennekin look at each other, she is reassured. Foxfire silently prayed for Primus to help Serena win. Rhynox noticed and saw how she acted when Serena and the Fennekin she scanned seemed to the first she responded to when they are together.

"Alright! It's time to style away!" Pierre announced as soon as Serena and the other two performs entered their private Salons.

Time seemed to have slowed down for those waiting, wondering what will come out of this time.

Soon the clock changed colors as the windows to the salons became obscure, Pierre announced, "Time for the secret finishing touches!"

Walking forward, Pierre then said, as the hourglass disappeared, "Of course that signals that time's up! Please proceed to the runway!"

"First's up is…" He pointed with his cane to the first door and Klefki tapped it again to open it, "Pledge and her Pokémon Meowstic."

When trainer and Pokémon walked out the audience cheered.

"Next up, Clarissa and Fletchling." Pierre announced as the camera showed the girl in question and her minute bird walked out, the bird in question perched on her wrist before she sent it out and some sort of sparkling powder was released to make it look beautiful.

"And last but not least, Serena and her Fennekin!" When it is finally time for the two of them to walk down the runway and the audience has a positive reaction to Fennekin's outfit.

"So adorable!" Foxfire stated in amazement by how Fennekin looked.

Cotton-Buns sat with Foxfire as she squealed, "I know!"

"Ultra gear." Cheattor breathed. Not sure how that was possible, but if Fennekin could look that could…

His optics trailed over to Foxfire before shaking his head and returning his gaze over to the screen.

However, when styling, Optimus noticed that Serena had failed to recognize that the long ribbon on Fennekin's neck might hinder its ability to walk and ruin everything.

Soon everyone saw Fennekin tripping on the ribbon just as they are nearing the end of the runway, scattering the rest of its decorations everywhere.

Foxfire was devastated by what she saw. The Maximals who watched had their own faces of concern for their friends.

Many of the Predacons laughed or chuckled at how Serena and Fennekin slipped up. Megatron was the only one who did not as he watched, keeping his eyes focused on study more than anything else, watching as the girl did not throw a tantrum like Jessie, or broke into tears as the girl with that swan like Pokémon, but graciously went back to where the other contestants were in getting their votes and accepted her defeat, 'That girl… She is not to be taken lightly…'

"And that's all for our styling performance. Your freestyling performance is after the break!" Monsieur Pierre announced, before the station changed the program with the commercial.

As soon as it was the commercial break, Foxfire was the first to ask, "Optimus, sir. May I…"

"Of course Foxfire, see how they are doing." Optimus said, understandingly of the young lady's wish.

Foxfire bowed her thanks, before rushing out of the command center to use the teleporter. Cheattor was fast on her heels, hoping that she was okay.

Cotton-Buns hugged her legs to her as she said, "Poor Serena… Poor Fennekin…"

"She did very well for someone her age." Rhynox commented, patting the youngest Maximal comfortingly.

Unbeknownst to everyone, Kabubot secretly watched the entire thing but thought about Serena's actions after her Pokémon tripped, 'She may be as strong as the ancient text say of the legendary leader, Elita-One… This defeat will make her stronger.'

Soon it was the Last bit of the competition, the one that Pierre called "Freestyle Performance" as those who advanced to the final round did their unique performances with their Pokémon partners.

The remaining Maximals and Predacons watched as either to get a laugh from or to learn more about what the difference that "Freestyle Performance" was.

Shauna uses her Bulbasaur and Flabébé to great effect in the Freestyle Performance, winning her the Princess Key.

That evening, As soon as Serena returned to the room she was sharing with her friends, she saw both Cheattor and Foxfire there. In Poké mode.

She then asked, "Foxfire? Cheattor? What are you two doing here?"

Foxfire stood up from the bed she was laying on before she transformed into robot mode and approached stating, "We came to check on how you were after what happened."

"Yeah that was hard… but you pulled through like a real Maximal." Cheattor stated as he approached, nuzzling his head against her hand.

Serena was touched by this as she said, "Thanks you guys."

She felt sadness for letting her friends down, but Foxfire hugged her to comfort her, the three of them remained as that until the two maximals were called back to the base by Optimus.

Before stepping through Foxfire asked, "You will call on me if you want to talk correct?"

"Of course." Serena assured the maximal before saying, "I can't thank you again for coming all the way here to check on me."

The two nodded before returning to their base.

"After that Serena felt a change was in order as she cut her hair and change her attire to make a change, though I believe she did this in order to promise that she would not lose another competition or let anyone else she holds dear to her down. About Foxfire; Rhynox has been curious about the strong bond that Foxfire had formed with Serena and her Fennekin and has theorized that the emotional bond between the two have been imprinted into Foxfires programming, however I am not going to press the issue as it seemed to increase her effectiveness as a member of the team and uphold the ideals of being a Maximal and not hinder them as some at command may state." Optimus added before ending his sub report, "End sub-section "Performer Showcase"."

"Captain's Personal Note: I am worried about the humans whom we have gotten to know since our reactivation..." Optimus began to speak for the last report of the day, "The fact they are young... worries me to no end, especially when Pokémon trainer Ash Ketchem believes that we will always be there for him and stop the Predacons before they harm either Pokémon or human... But I am concerned what will happened when he becomes disillusioned in this belief when he finds out the reality of war..."

Sighing He ordered, "End report, save captain's log in personal data base."

"Acknowledge." The computer stated, saving everything Optimus Primal said while filing it into the database.

(I am sorry this took so long I had to try and think of a way for the Maximals to see while adding the battle Ash had and the Showcase Serena had. but Ash's battle is more visible than audible. while I needed to look at the episode of the first showcase episode Serena had to go through and type in the words Pierre said as he did say it was televised for the viewers at home. But since you guys have waited long enough, I thought of not added Monsieur Pierre's lines due to who long you all waited for this chapter, for which I apologize again. But it would seem that any program televised would need to be seen for everyone to hear, especially the Maximals and even the Predacons.

The next will be based on a Beast Wars episode as the visitors try to explore ruins of the ancient past of the Pokemon world. What else would they be able to see in then ext couple of chapters?
So be sure to read the new chapter of this crossover... As the Journey Continues in: "Chains of Command".)
