I should get back to my Rick and Morty story.. I'm still experimenting with this though, so don't get too excited about anything yet..
Connor followed Beth's instructions to the McDonalds she said the other two took Tracey, and entering it he sure enough found her with Summer and Morty, Trace waves him over.
Tracey ended up being the one doing all the talking as Connor was very shy, saying the two got together and his family ended up moving here to help make his relationship easier, and that they are an very tight group, closer than Tracey's family at least, as she and her parents aren't really talking. Summer saying she knows the feeling, repeating her story about finding she was almost aborted.
"I feel bad now." Connor admitted.
"Don't, it's nice to know least one of us is happy." Summer giggled. Shortly after, Beth ended up running in, tearfully apologizing as she had some time to reflect and is glad she had her, Summer hugs her back, seeing sincerity in her voice. "It's just, I never really knew my own mom, and Rick is.. Well he always leaves, only now did he come back for good but…"
"It's okay mom." Summer said. Connor feeling awkward and just drinks the soda he bought. "Find a apartment yet? I know you like apartments?" Tracey asked. "I think so. But I need a job first." Connor admitted.
"Oh I'm sure Rick will help you find money in easier ways than that." Morty insisted.
Rick does help get Connor money, but Rick being Rick this involves robbing alien banks and selling guns. Both of which Connor only agrees to cause he's scared of what Rick would do if told he's told no.
Regardless Rick did keep his word about giving Connor his cuts and Connor uses them to get an apartment for himself and Tracey Welsh. "You never told me why you don't get along with your parents." Connor admitted.
"It's on and off.. Usually about my tattoos." Tracey admitted. "But let's not talk about that, let's get settled in." Tracey said, heading over to luggage bag.
Several days continue and the two continue hanging with Summer and Morty as they don't have anyone else in this town, this leading to them partaking in Rick's big house party.
Rick's party is getting crazier, Summer blows off a friend of hers named Nancy, which draws criticism from Tracey but Summer remains indifferent. A creation Rick is ashamed of, Abrodolph Lincoler (part Lincoln part Hiltar), smashes through a wall and gets into a brief altercation with Brad, the boyfriend of Morty's crush, Jessica, who is upset and runs outside, and Morty joins her to console her. While showing her various gadgets in the garage, Morty accidentally knocks over a contraption that teleports the entire house into a weird planet. After Rick takes a look outside, he lets the party-goers know that everything is fine, even though it's probably not.
Morty begins to freak out about the repercussions of his actions. Rick calms him down and tells him to collect some Collaxion Crystals, which would ostensibly be used to take them back home. Rick convinces Abrodolph Lincoler to join Morty, and Summer talks Nancy (or rather forces her) into joining them as well. The three set out to find the crystals.
Morty, Nancy, and Lincoler find the crystals but are attacked by a two-headed beast. Lincoler fends off the beast whilst Morty and Nancy collect the crystals. He is mortally wounded whilst defending them.
The remainder of the group return to the party and give the crystals to Rick, who promptly crushes them up and snorts them, revealing them to be just drugs.
Rick admits that he could have taken them back whenever he wanted, just didn't want too. Morty, furious after being lied to, throws the rest of the crystals outside. Morty ends the party and forces everyone out. The Smith House is in total shambles, and the cleanup effort begins. Morty is still immensely upset at Rick, but a conversation with Rick's friend BirdPerson reveals to him that Rick is masking a great deal of inner pain as Wubba Wubba Dub Dub means "please help me". Morty is unsympathetic and says Rick's using it ironically. Birdperson then teaches him another saying that means "Whatever lets you sleep at night."
