The Mighty Ducks Re-Imagined I: The Mighty Ducks
Warnings: With this chapter, this is going to show a small portion of the possible theory to Adam's origin story in the Ducks. As Charlie takes charge and becomes his best friend on the team as the quintet do the same now for him. This is also going to be a re-imagining of the Mighty Ducks trilogy as Charlie meets Orion at the age of 10, as their lives are fused together.
As they prepare for what their future brings now, and as Charlie learns the truth. And this soon, that Orion is his real father and he has a life outside of the team. This is also going to leave out the tv show, so an alternate reality story.
Sorry everyone, I lost two chapters in the update, the rest of this is on a hold till I fix this problem right now.
Disclaimers: The Mighty Ducks don't belong to me, the story belongs to me, everything else belongs to the disney company.
Chapter 13: Team Decisions, Deactivations And A New Duck
"At first we started out like the rest of the quartet of these losers Uncle Gordon told you about, till he decided after a heart to heart with Hans, to try and again. Being the captain of the team I was his first stop, as things started out, after 2 weeks basic training now. We reached the level of making a tie, but our first win now, that's more important now." Charlie said and he nodded. "Yep, and this means training everyday, so practice everyday, scrimmages every Friday now."
"With the games every second Saturday now, I got first the Hawks on Friday games you every second Saturday now, as we go for the forward approach. But we're hunting for goose eggs here, first two periods just showing off and then in the third we're playing with them. And then finish out strong, that's the new strategy, we been doing that so long everyone is wondering. In what I been teaching you guys in the off season, if Gordon leaves." Orion said and they nodded.
"Hey dad, Coach, I got an idea here of how to handle the next two weeks, before Reilly tries to over turn it, but get his own bag prepped, we're creating duck colored versions. And to their gear, hats, sweaters winter jackets, at the same time here now is we start raising the money. While at the same time now in truth, is we spend the sum weeks in training by you, as everyone in our team starts this, if they spent 6 months, why not…." he started to say and then froze.
"Oh you cold blooded little monsters!" Gordon snapped in shocked fury at the realization and Charlie nodded sternly in agreement. "Our apartment rent is $600 a month, each, we can all dish out, ask for an extension, and do double in next." Charlie said and they all nodded in agreement. "I'm talking to everyone at my office, and 60% are District 5." he said and they nodded in agreement, before he could answer, the door bell went off and he went to get it.
As Casey walked in. "After realizing what we figured out, everyone in my cafe dished out, total came to $300 in extended tips, with my normal rates, guys, Claire." she said and he nodded as wrote down on an envelope 'Donations for Winny Banks Medical Funds'. As he put the amount into an envelope. "Well that's a start, and we go from there, $5 to $10 in donations, the amount in two weeks comes to exactly $20,000, including our over time." Monroe said and she nodded.
"Hold it, hold it, with being an accountant, which is why my boss keeps sending me out of town here, we give you guys $3.45 a week, so $3.45x4=$13.80, so that by 3 months. Now, is $13.80x12= $41.40, so 52 weeks, $3.45x52=165.60, that's a single year in allowance. So 165.60x5=$828.00." Hall said and Jesse nodded as he and Terry exchanged looks. "And between both of us, you spend $1,656.00 a year on allowance, dad." he said to him gently then.
"Issues with the over time, I'm working over time, because I'm working at getting a promotion son, promotion means more money, but with 2 preteen boys and two fuzzballs to feed. This is why I'm so aggravated all the time here, your mother and I work over time. To put enough food on the table here now." he said and he nodded. "And there lies the power within here now, these guys have so much money and freetime, they're jumping us." Guy said and he nodded sternly.
"Sounds familiar boys?" Gordon asked and they and Orion nodded sternly. "You're a mixture of Two-Bit and Soda, I could be seen as Steve, Ted to Patrick, Eric to Chris. Joey to Soda and Ricky to Ralph, the most dangerous of the 7 of us just happens to be David, he could be seen as Matt." Hall said and they nodded. "These little brats have so much money they're jumping low middle class for fun, but our…, our new title could be seen as a dojo." Orion said sternly to that.
"The book in hockey mode." Charlie said to clarify and their parents nodded sternly. "That or karate mode and time is up, if they have enough money to go to a school like this. Clothes and fancy cars, or pay for cruel practical jokes, just where the money to pay for team mate. His family member's medical bills?" Orion said slowly and Gordon crossed his arms then sternly. "I am shoving that down their throats, in public later, dad." Charlie said and Gordon smiled sternly.
"The baseball movie next year is the perfect way to describe this, dad you guys give me $2.45, every week in allowance. The amount totals $9.80, 1 month equals $9.80, so that amount after 3 months, that amount. After 3 month totals $117.20, so multiple that by 1 year, that comes to $352.80. So comes to exactly $352.80, so that x6=$2,115.60, one of us equals 1/3 of the amount, for tuition into the academy, 6 of us equals two, but 6 of us together equals 2 tuitions."
"While 24 equals the same amount as these emergency experimental treatments, they can't afford, best stick with the chemo." Averman said and and their parents crossed their arms as he and Charlie exchanged looks. "No one of us is 1/3 of that, 2 is 2/3's and 3 makes up the entire tuition, dad just say with the fact the amount is 1/10 of our annual income. Would grades and winning every game for 4 years get us a scholarship?" he asked and he nodded sternly to him.
"Yeah they would, as would us getting chosen for whatever stint we got in a couple years, as Buckley decides to switch out the hawks with you, you earned those scholarships. But they have the money to get into the academy, you had to work your buts off to get those scholarships. So to phrase this the way that David's counterpart would say it. 'Free ride, look at you rich boy. Mommy and daddy gave you everything, we earned those scholarships, under Coach Orion.'."
"You got your parents paying for everything, why are you even living on campus, but if you have the money to go to school here, cars and fancy clothes or cruel practical jokes, then just where. In truth, is the money to help pay for a team mate's family medical bills, you're losers, you don't deserve to live, if you can't find it in your heart to give up 1 year off 5." he said and Charlie and Averman nodded in stern agreement to his direct opinion as their parents nodded sternly.
"Like I said, you cold blooded little monsters, if you have money to go to school there, cars and fancy clothes, or playing cruel practical jokes. Then just, in truth, is the money to help pay for a peer's family member's medical bills, how can you be so without heart." Gordon said sternly with a growl at the news then. "I think you taught us a little too well Coach, but you had a good education, you pass that to us, but our favorite coaches, you taught us everything in our life."
"That is worth knowing we never been more thankful to have you, both of you, in our life now." Guy said and he smiled. "Love you too son." he said for both of them. "Not just our coach, but our mentor, when not with our own fathers, you became our father. But there it is, like the gardener said to Picard, our coach, best friend and father, our mentors. We would do whatever you say in training, sticking to the rules, we never got that rough, because we out think them."
"Smart hockey, duck hockey, is the same as what the guy playing on that martial arts movie said, but another way to phrase that. Well said is you don't go looking for trouble, wait for the trouble to come to you, do these idiots not realize we utilize our lake for a weapon, the trees?" he said and Orion started laughing. "Issues in being a Duck, these bird of prey never realize we can dunk under the dive bomb in the lake and then take them out." Averman said with a smile.
"Don't do that at the lake, the water is filthy, but the pool if someone does a cannonball, just dunk and move out of the way." He said in response at that and they nodded. "These guys are dangerous enough, but don't mess with the ducks, because we gang up on you. But pack mentality, you grow up in a gang, it's hard to go solo, you don't know how to. But 4 years together, you bonehead, you really want to get cheeky with an adult?" Guy said and Peter paled.
"And to repeat that, it's not based on past, or by lineage, but by the amount of right calls made, but this is my team now and I will be choosing who the captain is." Orion said firmly and Charlie nodded. "Red group, break off." Charlie said and the quartet moved to him then. "We need 5 more to make even number, if Adam joins in now, but 8 on 8, that's our next gig. We can continue advertising during our next gig, after that season ends." Tammy said and he nodded.
"Well we get our last duck at the game, we got 14, plus you 3, and we got the got right amount, one last season in the peewees, we got one season in school. So one means the others and then sum number in wins, plus our grades we're in now, but watch yourselves, Ducks. They're head hunting here, so change up now, no check that, check, green 1 on 1, shoot it passed the blue." Charlie said and Casey flinched. "Heads up." Hall said bemused and Reed started laughing then.
"Uh oh, I get what he's saying here, just hit the deck, when Fulton gets ready to fire!" Gordon said as he started laughing as he mentally translated what he just said to the 9. "The Varsity knew me for my code name with my counterpart enforcer, but what about my slapshot?" Fulton and they nodded. "Good point, these brats never consider the lethal side to this, everyone in our district knows the dangers of your shot, but if the Hawks Varsity never watch our games."
"Then they'll never understand why we say hit the deck and look out when you get ready to shoot, though Adam and Jared do, along with Scott." Orion said gently to that. "I think they'll get the message, but we did say stay out of the way when he gets ready to fire. But what lame brain puts themselves squarely in the way of a shot going 90 miles an hour?" Terry asked and he crossed his arms. "One desperate to get their money back." Hall said sternly and they nodded.
"But they do something to your brother and baby sister, there is going to be a lawsuit and we get the amount anyway, I'm the team lawyer now, guys." Gordon said to him then. "Nice coach and lawyer, that works, but playing by the rules, but really people, joining the family?" Reed asked and Charlie grinned. "Too late he was already part of the family, my godfather, he's dad's best friend when you were our age." he said and Hall smiled at the remark then gently at that.
"Your uncle is exactly what you look like Terry, Jesse is me as a cub, so that's what Ted meant, he knows you on sight, because we grew up together." he said and the team nodded. "What was it you said, in keeping it to a straight shut out?" Charlie asked and Orion smiled. "We're looking for goose eggs here." he said and they nodded. "These guys are either real Pekins or jumbos, but jumbo pekin eggs are the size of swan or goose." he said and the 9 nodded gently at that.
"Think, think, think, soft hands, how big are duck eggs, our version exactly, we're Pekins in human form and we're ducklings?" Connie asked and Charlie pulled out their science book and start paging through it, till he pointed out the size. "Uh Guys, we got another problem if the Hawks keep getting rough with us, and secondly. They're raptors, birds of prey, we're Pekins in human form, but our breed is bred for….." Averman started to say and they exchanged looks.
As she looked at her cook book, and saw the body covered in orange sauce and they felt their stomachs turn over. "Point made, either we're being hunted or worse, we're being bred for food, in the one place as we got one outside of town." Terry said in disgust and they nodded. "Guys we're ducklings, it's our adult counterparts we need to worry about, but broken wing. We're easy pickins here, so stick together, don't make one target." Charlie said and the 9 nodded sternly.
"Broken leg, arm or worse, recovering from a busted rib?" she said and he nodded. "I get severely territorial with you girls, but the guy playing me, he's going alpha male. But said accident in just spending some time alone with only Mr. Jenkins watching us at the lake skating. If they targeted a little girl stuck in a wheel chair, who's not going to consider they target you girls, so stick together, don't make one target." he said and the 7 nodded sternly to the orders.
"Meaning what?!" Peter said in shock to his remark. "Meaning we're never alone for long, we stick together, if we were in the military that means backs together. We're fighting with our backs to the walk here, protecting our escape route, till we get out. Which is why the quintet were fighting with their backs to each other, before they got separated. And the aliens were picking them off one by one, stick together, no stragglers, we grew up a team, a gang now."
"All our lives, one coach exchanged for another, nothing ever changed, we have each other still, we have each other, we have dad, we'll be fine. But the girls, with us city born ducks, no one is leaving these guys an opening, so stick together. Don't make one target, we're not making this easier on these vultures to get to our sisters." he said sternly and the girls nodded. "And there's the tone of the captain of the team protecting his team mates." Orion said and Gordon nodded.
As Charlie grabbed his notebook and wrote down a list of ideas to raise the money. "Guys, we're using Whoopi's idea to bring community spirit to the district to help them. But our new strategy just resulted in us ducklings protecting our unborn baby siblings. My sister lost her ability to paddle, broken wing, so easy pickin's, but we're working over time. But the egg, if not fertilized yet, is staying out of the basket, starting now." he said and they flinched at the metaphor then.
"Oh my god that's disgusting, alright I'm never eating duck again!" Tammy said in disgust and the 9 nodded. "We're one of 9 breeds bred for food, but we're wild pekins, so want to try to hunt us, get ready for the quack attack." Jesse said and the 9 nodded in agreement to that. "And going flying V starting now, we're sticking together starting now, but we're ducklings. Without parent duck, so we're protecting our unborn baby brothers and sisters from the basket now."
"That's our new strategy, we're protecting our unborn siblings from the frying pan." Charlie said and Casey nodded. "Well I'm never buying duck for Christmas dinner ever again, but ham or turkey." Mrs. Duncan said gently and she nodded in agreement then. "You better do both, the Goldbergs are Jewish, so kosher." Casey added and they nodded. "Right, you said bar mitzvah, so you're hebrew, got three years before you become a man now." Gordon said and he nodded.
"Getting him over his fear of being shot at." Charlie said to his father and the Goldbergs nodded bemused as Hall started laughing. "Ted read it right, knowing he's back for good, we're staying in Minneapolis now, Greg." he said and Goldberg nodded in delight. "My team, my friends, I want to stay anyway dad." he said and Chef Goldberg nodded. "This coming Thanksgiving, family gang for dinner and Christmas." Orion said and the group nodded in agreement smiling.
"So the Parkers, Crusels, Kincaids, Andersons, Stantons, Caulfields and Whites, as well as the Thompsons, Greys, Lanes and Lantzes as of right now, if the Banks's join in." Charlie said and they nodded in agreement. "We're the Crusels then here, both sides of the family baby." Casey said gently and Orion nodded in agreement. "But honestly guys, you and Connie, don't need to drive each other crazy, till you beat the heck out of each other." Orion said gently then at that.
"Yeah the team is family, so family gang now, we consider each other brothers and sisters." Connie said and they smiled and nodded in agreement. "And kids, if you were really the 11, keep that under control, we get hit, whoever smacked us, you're in trouble." Hall said and they nodded smiling. "Yes Dad' 'Uncle Jason." they all said together at the remark. "Karen's going to love you once she gets to know you, Jase'." Orion said and he smiled at the remark gently then.
"I think this was why they stayed together as a flock, the flock is family, so stay with the family flock." Charlie said and they nodded. "Uh guys, we got another catch we forgot, but the lake is west of the farm carrying said Pekins, so we head for the pond we were practicing at. The day coach found us, and they decide to designate themselves our mascots now for the district. And we just saved them, by them being our new mascot." Guy said and they nodded in agreement.
As Charlie looked at his adult duck counterpart, with a gentle look on his face and nodded as he said it. "I know only one type of duck entree that's used during Christmas, but our counterparts are 9 to 11lbs." Connie said and they nodded sternly. "Duck al' l'orange, you are sick people, real sick, my team's version are bred for food, but we're not farm Pekins. But wild buster, you want to hunt us, get ready you're going to have a fight here." Charlie said sternly to this then.
"Coach, our breed type are found where exactly?" Connie said and Casey covered her eyes at that remark. "Oh boy, that was something I missed when I picked Ducks, our version is bred for food, if they never grew up in the wild right now." Gordon said, translating and Orion nodded gently. "Well then I see where this conversation is heading then, if their working out their new strategy, for you, before you put it to the test." Hall said and Orion nodded in agreement then.
"The jerseys in the new version, are this." Charlie said, passing him a paper with a duck mask ski mask, and behind it were 2 hockey sticks in a cross, and he nodded. "That's teenage, but old and new ducks combined, we're one, us and sum number in this version. As the trio earned their's, we're a flock of teenage ducks with you our father Duck dad. Hey guys, I think we can all say this, but him: our coach, Buckley: our headmaster?" he asked and the 9 smiled and nodded.
"Agreed, if our parents loved Buckley as their teacher, we'll see him as a great principal now, during our final 5 years with our pre college." Guy said for all of them. "And your father our coach, before college as well, we love your father, his trust is all that matters." Connie said smiling and Gordon smiled, knowing Charlie choosing for him had pulled it off then. "We love both of you coach, your trust is all that matters to us." Connie said and he smiled gently then.
"Love you too guys, I'm glad you decided to give us another chance this quick, and you made the right choice in deciding to see what was up now. Rather then accepting what he said without questioning it, that was a piece of why I hated him ever since." he said and Casey crossed her arms. "Until you met Buckley huh, honey?" she asked and he nodded gently. "Buckley is our biology teacher and the guys coach, when we were kids." Hall said and they nodded smiling.
"We just forgot each other's faces at the time, but they know only one Gordon Bombay who was the school hotshot in players, after what Reilly drove into us. But the D.A. was disgusted with the last case, and decided to humble me, only the idea worked a little too well." Gordon said and Charlie nodded. "Well this is you as dad knows you?" he asked and he nodded. "As of right now, you, Coach created us, as the years go by, dad furthers us and the traditions here now in truth."
"We're ducklings, at this stage, with 3 years in the peewees and 1 in school, plus the gold medal, is enough. Everyone knows we're winners, at first an adjustment period, but no worry, but want to mess with us, get ready for the fight of your life now. But our newest duckling is the one in pain, but what one month with my father fully involved now causes, huh. You never see it coming, hearing Jared's Coach is the father of the captain the Ducks, he switches now."
"But new strategy for training in doing defense starting now, dad, but the puck is the egg, our net is the basket meant for the stove top and frying pan." Charlie said and they nodded. "Your training advice at the rink, so that could be, those pucks could be seen as eggs. Goldberg is preventing the eggs from entering the net, only we're not using real eggs now. Remember the home ec project, an egg was the baby, our baby is about to become an omelet, so stop baby."
"And from ending up in the basket meant for the frying pan, or we're cannibalizing our own species here right now!" Connie said and Jenkins started laughing at that. "Nice wording Hammer, so no baby duck entering our net, prevent baby from ending up in our net. But send the Hawks chicks back to the nest, they need further training, but we're eatable poultry. So preventing duckling from being turned into scrambled eggs or worse." Guy said and she nodded.
"Our kind is a farm duck, we know what our counterparts are being raised up to be, if they decide not to leave the farm." Jesse said and he nodded in agreement. "So we protect baby from ending up in the frying pan, while sending the black chicks back at the hawk nest. As they need more training, Greg, you're protecting baby duck from ending up in the pan now. We're on defense, but we help block, but psych outs or blocking it." Charlie said and he smiled at that.
"Greg, our net could be seen as the basket for the stove, so we're preventing baby from ending up in the basket to be cooked, if said egg was never fertilized here." he said and Goldberg nodded to the change up. "After you got me over my fear of being shot at, watch where you're aiming Fulton, you're not knocking me in there as I prevent the shot." he said and Fulton nodded as Orion hid a smile. "Kids, you're taking that too far here." Casey said with a smile.
"Nice strategy though guys, before I teach you blue collar hockey." Orion added and they nodded. "Well our first game against the Hawks was a live and learn, we saw we need to really put in the effort, now after another blow game. And a tie, time to stop messing around and work over time, so training 4 times a week starting now. And scrimmage games on Fridays, and study 4 times a week, get us ready while we got summer practice." Charlie said and Orion nodded.
"You taught us and teach us total shut out." Jesse said and Averman finished that. "And no lead is safe if we can't play defense, so time to show that now, because we're starting now. Guys, you can come now for practice or you go home, it's your choice, because we practice every day." He said and they looked at the looks on the team. "What, start training like this, are you kidding?!" he asked and Charlie nodded sternly and they exchanged looks then sternly then.
"No, we're serious, Coach was right, now if we are to make to make it to the playoffs, both options are a very big help." he said and they swallowed hard. "So you're calling us losers now as well?" Peter said and he said it sternly. "Don't put words in my mouth, that was a tie game, but our first win, we were once losers, but we're slowly becoming winners. It's time to change dad was right, we can change, we become everything he wanted us to become now in truth."
"Les' and me, we changed, but his trust, that means so much to us, that how can we ever let him down?" he said and the 9 looked down, knowing he was right. "Like their parents, my mother, Hans, the Coach, dad's trust and respect means so much to us. That you or him, no choice necessary, it's always going to be them, like Buckley in later years. If he's where dad and Coach get it from, we can't lose their trust, we won't." he said and their parents smiled at that.
"Favorite principal, favorite teachers, we're ducklings on the road to becoming teenage ducks, but as we grow, the one thing that matters most is not losing their trust. So with that right now, with the fact dad was a pro player, I want to learn from him and the coach. But finally time for some changes starting now, because you're outnumbered 10 to 2, Peter. But it's their way or the highway now, think about that now." he said and Casey, Orion and the 10 nodded sternly then.
"But you're the minority now, we're the majority, we decided to give his idea and training a chance, and we all said yes. So you're out voted now, dad is the next step up from Coach, when are you going to get that, but just say Coach deciding to pull Greg. And you immediately question that, can't trust him, how do we expect to work together. Or his choice in choosing me for the penalty shot, what more is there to say." he said and they both paled at that remark.
"Indeed, how can I be your coach if you can't trust me, after you built up this fantasy in your head I meant it?" Gordon asked and the team's parents nodded in agreement. "And with some lunatic snatching kids off the street, we need someway to protect you guys. We trust them with your lives, our lives, that if this means, now extended training now, well then so be it. But every game won, means we get enough to save her." Casey said and Peter looked between them then.
"Alright why are you so quick to refuse here, is it because of who we used to be, or you don't want a parent on your case, day in and day out in training." Orion asked and they both paled, realizing he nailed them to the wall. "That's the reason alright, they know we have you acting as the babysitter so to speak all the time now, they can't get away with anything. They driven away 4 coaches and the 5th had a heart attack, I guess they figured constant attitude now in truth."
"Would insure now this never happens, that we decide to go to training all week long and with it now, we have one of us on watch here. After the damn car incident, in which I caught them on the edge of the lake in the limo." Casey said and Gordon covered his eyes. "Like I said get off the roof, you little monkey." Gordon said bemused to Karp and Orion nodded sternly. "Excuse me?" Germaine said sternly and he sighed. "First day trouble." Charlie said and he nodded then.
"That and what if the ice was thinning and like I said a single crack, and that's it." she said and Gordon nodded sternly. "I'm never doing that again, I changed and I got a responsible to your families now, so enough of the reckless behavior, you guys are my responsibility. Our last season now, before I pass you to your father is 1994-1995." he said and the 10 nodded. "Explain that to me later, bro, but your parents want me as the parental supervision here starting now."
"But if Charlie and Lester love me and the 8 are just getting to know me, then why, why are you so quick to not give me a chance, or is it my vocal tones here. The fact I sound like the very thing you hate, adult authority?" Orion asked and they went white then. 'Got'cha, so there it is, they hate adult authority like Hank said, and I'm 3 at once now.' he thought then as he said it. "Well you're out voted, two choices: give it a chance or you're cut." he said and they swallowed.
"So that's it huh, not willing to give my training a chance, young man, I'm a pro hockey player, my training is the key to winning this, every game won is another to her survival. That's just the point now, she and the others, we win every game, we're closer to getting their money. And till we have it all, to pay for her chemo sessions." Orion said and he swallowed hard. "But this is exactly what Gordon meant, now if we are to win this next game, we make to the playoffs now."
"But in order to do that, we need added help, he could be a very big help, well as could an adult hockey player, and one against Reilly." he said and they started shaking. "Alright be that way, starting now, under suspension of the team." he said sternly and they looked down, realizing what he was saying, their parents nodded. "I'm taking my son home then." Marks said and Karp nodded. "Me too, you go for practice, see you tomorrow." He said and the team nodded then.
As they grabbed the duo and dragged them out of the room then. "Issues, but I think that just says it all, they're realizing they can't get away with anything now. When the den mother actually calls in back up, and said just happens to be a high school age coach." Averman said and he nodded. "Yeah that and said is the father of the captain of the team, in which case, you grew so attached, my trust, like your parents and Casey, means too much to you now to lose."
"But favorite coach in later years." he said and they both nodded. "We hear that tone from you day in and day out till it turns so normal, that it just means home to us. So the team is home you're home, so come home is come home to to the team, you're home." Jesse said and they nodded in agreement to his opinion. "I just hope I never walk right into a brawl here next, or you're getting the 'father that bailed his cub out of jail' tone." he said and the sextet flinched.
"Not Charlie's fault, 'they' provoked them." Connie said to him then. "And you were only pushing them to lose all self control here and throw the first punch. So Peterson challenged them to a game, all Charlie decided was give the warning, 'lay off, before dad eviscerates you guys.'. By constant pay back jokes here, till they cross the line, the reason they're covered in red dots. Is you decided to use the Dean's fire ants against them." Orion asked and the quintet nodded.
"Why just us, why are they only picking on us, not the rest of the incoming 8th grade, are the others not worth their time, why are we so special?" Guy asked and he nodded in agreement. "Indeed, and you're right, I call the fact they're only picking on you, is because you cost them their brother's J.V. slot, but solid court case here. Is this is hate crimes and once again they just barely kill you, but congratulations Peterson you just blew any mental edge that you had now."
"Against the Varsity, now they know they own you, my level is not the peewees your little ducklings tricks are not going to work on that level. Now, for the last time, stay away from the Varsity!" he said sternly and the 8 flinched then. "Code for, 'I don't believe this, guys what is wrong with you, if it were anyone, but me you'd be arrested. Just tell me later who started this, but that's enough of this back and forth, now for the last time, stay away from the Varsity.'."
"Lazy bums, how lazy can you guys be, they're killing us out there, at least dad got us out jail on a warning, we got off easy with dad, cool it!" Charlie said and Orion nodded. "Like I said, not just Adam, but me as well, I get you to the Hawks level, before, once you start at the academy. I teach you pros guys, but you're going to be as good as a pro player by the time I complete it. The said your training, we're going to do just fine this way." he said and Gordon nodded smiling.
"Yeah just getting started till I leave, if one of the guys offers me a shot into the minors here, but we got multiple guys in the league, knowing me by my cub name. So you hear one of them call me said name now, you know he was a Hawk back then, but he. And like Ted, are not bad, just misunderstood, just like the book said, not all Hawks are like that. That's like saying all Ducks are like the Shepard gang." he said and the team nodded to the lesson gently at that.
"Or not all Socs are like the quintet, said the quintet that beat up Ralph, that's like saying all Greasers are like Matt." Orion said gently and they nodded to him. "Nothing gold can stay, at this age, you see things are not all black and white, as you get older. You see things change, for now, nothing's changed, one coach switches into a new one, but you're still you. We've got 9 years together, and 5 of that as me being your new coach, before you start college in truth."
"Just enjoy this while it lasts, because my college counterpart is a more stricter version of me, but if these guys, the current Hawks, thought I was bad, my counterpart is worse." he said and Charlie nodded as they exchanged knowing grins. "And we hear that from you day in and day out, all it means to us is father bear, home, you're home, the team is home. So go home is go home to the team, took the long way around, but home to stay." Charlie said and he nodded.
"That's going to be these guys case, the team is home, but I'm patiently waiting for these two to cross the picket-line right now, and when they do, I'll be waiting. But you, I'm your father, to you, home is me, so you come home, you come back to me, if this was in reverse. After that you start acting like the team captain and now place yourself at my side now. Like a good second in command would." he said and Charlie nodded gently, as he looked into his eyes.
As he gave him a hug and he tightened his arms around him then. 'My cub, my baby boy, love you too, son.' Orion thought gently as he hugged him and Gordon smiled at that as the rest of the quintet exchanged smiles with Casey. And in relief that he would never change now as he pulled back. "Just wait till those idiots see you in controlling the team during their first return game to the team and you're acting like a real captain should here right now in truth, Charlie."
"You're our leader and to us, they're to death of the pedestal we carry you on, you this, you that, you, you, you, you. But the Hawks cross the line, and when Adam joins the team, not if, but when, they realize a single thing, that to us, you're the heart of the team. Our alpha, and your father is papa alpha, you lead us and your father leads you and us. But 14 and you, next to Adam are our star players heres, in 2-way hockey." Guy said and Orion nodded in agreement.
"Time to put that to use, training tonight, another meeting tomorrow, guys!" Gordon called out and they nodded as Orion pulled his sweater on then, as they headed for the lake. "Peep peep?" they heard and he turned. "Yeah, we're ducklings that's papa duck, second papa duck and our V leader in flying our metal box, so are you what Donald looks like as duckling, fella?" he asked, looking at a pure white duckling and he gave a peep that sounded like a quack then.
"Well you're cute buddy, really cute." Jesse said and he gave a peep that had a smile in the tone. "Peep?" he asked and Charlie looked down at a book the right size for him. "Like to read Donald Duck comics?" he asked and the duckling gave a peep and Orion chuckled. "Come on." he said and the baby waddled after him as he put the book in the nest and opened it then. And he curled up reading as he saw him swing himself in the same position and she started laughing.
"Just imagine them creating duckling sized comic books, as these little fluffballs are taking their comics with them till they reach full size, they like to read." Charlie said smiling and Orion nodded with a chuckle then. "Quack?" the adult asked and Charlie nodded smiling. "Yeah we're two legged ducklings, but us practicing in us being ducklings, guys. That nest on the other side of the pond is bad, our's is good, but the objective is keeping us, our egg, from ending up."
"In our net, boy, you know what your type is meant for, with us being that close to a farm?" he asked and the adult quacked. "Well your eggs are endanger of, if they never been fertilized and created more baby ducks, into scrambled eggs." he said and he gave a quack of bemusement. "So good net is our score line for protecting eggs, your kids, us, from being put on the flat hot surface and we shoot the bad egg back at black feathered net, this black circle is the fake egg."
"Our objective is keeping black circle, the egg, from ending up on the flat hot surface, while shooting black chick back at opposite net, said is bad." Charlie said and he quacked in understanding. "Oh one other thing, big duckling is a fast shooter, so stay on the white bank for safety." he added and he gave a second quack gently, as they watched him shoot and it went into the snow, as he saw a small line sink in and then stopped 40 feet up, but buried too deeply.
"Quack?" The father duck said amused at that as he looked at his son as he gave a peep and Jesse started laughing and Jenkins nodded smiling. "Yeah how do we find it now exactly?!" Gordon said laughing at that and he nodded. "Alright practice indoors, so we never lose the puck this way, but 4 months here now. And before we see where it ended up, but outside playing, we're losing the pucks this way with ice hockey." Orion said with a chuckle and he nodded then.
And in agreement then. "Dewey man, watch it, before you dunk head first in a melting spot, the water is beyond cold, us ducklings are you in a two legged sense. But we're ducklings playing with black circle, but we made a mistake in doing it outdoors. And lost our circle, fortunately we got more then one, but we're careful in playing black circle outdoors. When on frozen pond, but you close, we're careful." Jesse said, and he gave a peep and looked at said spot then gently.
"And kids, be careful after the car incident, I'm not having your parents kill me for getting reckless here." Gordon said and the 10 nodded to the orders, as they put their new strategy to use and start blocking shot after shot after shot then. "Peep?" Jesse said and she smiled. "Peep." she said in response. "Peep….." he said and she said it in annoyance. "Peep!" she said, smacking him in the chest. "Peep?!" he asked her and Jenkins started laughing at that response gently.
"Quack!" Gordon called out and they gave a peep. "Alright guys, that's enough of that already." Orion said, saying it in English and they nodded, as Charlie, Guy and Averman were shaking in laughter at that, "No kidding and guys that's enough of that already, Jesse would stop antagonizing her, before she beats you senseless here, Sis take it easy, will you please." Charlie said and as their district spectators watching started laughing at that remark gently then.
And before they heard that again and from two ducklings, and till one of them smacked their counterpart in the chest, and their father gave a quack gently at that in response. And the duo gave a peep in response and they started laughing as the duckling closest to Charlie. He nodded, as he peeped. "Uh oh, the ducklings were watching and then imitated you at that guys, but you're the same age they are." Gordon said as he and Jenkins started laughing at that.
"You better do the chest starting now, before repeated blows to the head results in losing feathers, or down, Huey." he said and his duckling gave a peep to his new name and the advice, and he looked at the duo, as the second smacked his brother in the chest. And he peeped at them gently, as he put his wing on their back and it gave a peep. As the leader of the trio lifted his wing and they gave a peep and moved to the team and Charlie crouched then gently.
"Hey just add a red hat and shirt, you look like a baby version of him, boy." he said and he peeped, and with a tone that had a gentle smile. "Another week or two, we go white after that, we look like a baby version of our doubles, real baby version of our doubles. If you gave me that name, so my name is Huey now, yeah I like that, my color is red, so that's my summer color. "Yes okay, my name is Huey now." he said with a gentle peep then as he rubbed up against him.
"Just imagine some duckling imitating Donald in those comic books, and then a strong breeze has the page landing on top of him with a surprised peep. Before he pushes the page back down, he idolizes Donald so much he starts sleeping under said comic book. And tries to bring it with him." Connie said with a chuckle and he nodded smiling. "Yeah if this is Donald as a baby, he's adorable." Tammy said and he gave a peep as he looked at Charlie with a smile in his eyes.
"At least you're not holding him, or he'd be pressing his head to your chest, like he belongs to you as your duckling." Guy said with a chuckle at that. "I think he decided he already belongs to me right now, but if they're acting like us, then they're choosing their human counterpart. Dewey chose Jesse, Webby to Connie, and this little guy chose me, he's mine." he said and she chuckled as he lifted the little duck up to look into his eyes as he said it to him then gently.
"You want to be my pet duckling, don't you?" he asked with a chuckle and he gave him a 'yes' peep, and Orion covered his eyes. "Little fluffball, your son is trying to get adopted by mine, Donald." he said and he gave a quack of amusement. "Bad side effect, we understand each other, but we see someone we like and get a new name, at times we, as young hatchlings. Want to be taken home as a pet, the fact he named him is said catch." he said and Orion nodded.
"Let me guess, you're black feathered duckling, you, little one, are sister duckling, if you're a girl?" Charlie asked and they gave a peep and Guy lowered his head, as he, Averman and Goldberg started laughing at that as his gave a gentle peep. "And you're me, little guy, so they started going at it till papa duck tells them enough of that. And then you, pal say to break it up already?" he asked and the trio gave a peep and the Duncans and Terry also started laughing.
As the leader of the trio moved under his hand and ran his head against it. "Yeah you're cute pal, but you're a baby still, we're social animals, but you're our mascot and we see you. And all the time, as you become the mascot for our side of the nest, the egg hatched. And we took on our new name now, but father duck is taking us through training with circle. We just hatched and lost control of our legs, so can't run yet till we learn to walk." he said and his gave a peep.
"You just imitating us guys, after you heard that?" Charlie asked and they gave a peep and the team started laughing. "Well monkey see, monkey do, but we're humanoid ducks here, but us or you, nothing changes, huh guys?" he said and they gave a peep with a smile in the tone and the adult shook his head amused at that. "Yeah me to buddy, me too, and would you guys stop that already, before I get smacked in the blow out." Orion said, translating that response smiling.
"Nice imitation, us then they take our conversation too far and she smacks him in the chest, you a girl, baby?" Charlie asked and it gave a gentle 'yes' beep to him and Tammy closed her eyes as she started laughing. "What you think of the name Webby then." he asked and she gave a peep that had a 'yeah that sounds good, my name is Webby now, and short for. And whatever my moving picture self is called now.', tone to it and Connie nodded smiling gently at that response.
"Alright Webby then, Dewey, you trying to get smacked, my version is like you, in pushing me till I wing him?" she asked and he looked down with a smile in the movement. "Alright that's enough of that already, Dewey, stop antagonizing your sister!" Charlie said and he gave a peep and his own gave a peep that had a 'no kidding, guys would you guys stop that already' tone. To it and his father started laughing at that, as his duck counterpart nodded with an amused look.
"Like you said, that's the only way we can communicate with each other, said peeps, though our parents say quack." Guy said with a laugh and the adult gave a quack with an amused tone to the conversation then. "We're one month ducklings just getting started outside of the nest, can't fly yet, but we can paddle, but at the moment the water is to cold for swimming. But would you guys stop antagonizing each other already." he said and the adult gave a quack of agreement.
"Yeah us or you, nothing changes." Orion said and the adult gave a quack and one that had a chuckle in the tone as he looked at his version with a fatherly look of love gently. "Got to get used that, but I even want to know what that was about between our version?" Jenkins asked and the 8 started laughing at that response. "Learning exactly what our real counterparts were talking about, we started translating what they were saying, one of them was the duo now."
"Jesse's duckling counterpart asked how well they were doing, she said pretty good, but don't push it, he started testing her and she lost her temper and smacked him in the chest. And he asked what he say right now, to get smacked in the chest and Gordon. He just told them that's enough of that already, and they nodded, before I translated that response then. But expect that alot in training the next 2 years, Eric." Orion said smiling and Jenkins nodded with a chuckle.
"First day of training with your father involved and already, we're going to enjoy training now, Charlie, you couldn't have picked a better future head coach, man!" Fulton said smiling and he nodded smiling and Orion smiled at the compliment then. "Yeah alright, so 99 blocked eggs and only one got basketed, nice start, alright we keep this up. And we're going to give the Hawks a real run for their money after 2 weeks of training." Gordon said smiling and the 10 smiled then.
"Donald?" Charlie said and the adult gave a quack and the team smiled. "So where's Daisy?" Connie asked and they heard a gentle quack and they turned and saw another with 8 ducklings surrounding her. "Yeah we're like you, we're one month old ducklings." Charlie said and they gave a peep. "I know what'll happen if I pet you guys, so just wait on that, but Huey, Huey and Dewey." he said and they gave a peep to their new names as their parents gave a gentle quack.
"Give it two weeks and then you get your name, boy." he said to the one waddling up to him and he gave a peep gently. "Are you guys wild ducks or domestic, you know farm?" he asked and their father gave a quack. "You're domesticated, but you're living away from your two legged owner, the 10 of us are your ducklings in two legged form, we're still learning to fly. But our wings are still growing in." he said and he gave a gentle quack then and Orion chuckled at that.
Before nudging his hand and he smiled and ran a hand through his feathers. "Like you said us or you nothing changes, but we're your mascots, if that explains the picture on your down. So expect us to be close by now, starting now, duckling." he said through three quacks. "Uh oh, we just gained our mascot now, the flock decided their our mascots now." Connie said smiling and Gordon nodded with a chuckle, at the connection between his team captain and the adult duck.
"With my babies still growing their wings in, we're grounded, but we're the next size up from our counterparts, our breed, the swivel necked fowl, we're near their size, duckling." he said with a quack. "Next size up, so your breed is you're a jumbo sized Pekin?" he said and the duck quacked a 'yes' and he nodded. "My moving picture counterpart is one, as is his mate and family, including the foreign talking duck." he said through three quacks and they nodded gently.
"Well the trio are fully white, so this stage, yellow is for….." he started to say and he said it with a smile in the tone. "We reach full size at 7 months, so that stage, the trio was 10 week old duckling, with you being our counterparts, your grade level in a few years. So if you're in training academy, so 10 weeks is, in your wording, two years from now. And that's when your feathers grow in, so though a duckling still, you'll be fully grown at your highest training level."
"But if you just hatched and gained us as your mascot, you're a month old, and still getting the oils to help you float in water, so you can paddle." he said and Charlie nodded as he said it then. "We're jumbo sized pekins in human form dad, ten weeks old in real ducks is 12 years old, that our jerseys and uniforms get switched out. From duckling to becoming teenage ducks, college is fully adult duck stage now, 14 teenage duck." Charlie said over his shoulder and he nodded.
"Nice, then that means once the uniforms switch out, you become my version with the jersey and uniform switch, and you're teenage ducks entering the 8th grade. So I do your entire 5 years, you're a fully grown once you're a senior in high school, though to us, still a duckling. Watch out for the neighborhood strays, cats though, Donald." Orion said and he gave a quack to him. "We're domesticated, but watch my son, he likes you." he said and Charlie nodded then.
"Yeah with an adult petting them is no big deal, but a baby, you pet them and they like the feeling so much they start chasing you around for more pets." Averman said laughing and he gave a quack of agreement to that. "I take it these guys just got saved, by them picking themselves as your mascots Coach Orion, Coach Bombay?" they heard from a farmer up the way and they nodded. "Hey Ralph." Gordon said and the farmer nodded smiling then gently.
"You know each other?" Charlie asked and they nodded. "Number 23, Ralph Patterson, winger." The farmer said and they nodded. "I decided, like your fathers, after it became all about winning and scholarships to become a farmer, I just never expected one of my farm life. To be the chosen mascot now for your team, the father of my flock of Pekins." the man said and they nodded. "Yeah they've chosen themselves as our mascot." Gordon said and he nodded smiling.
"We just named him, the father, his name is Donald, his wife is called Daisy and 3 of said ducklings are Huey, Dewey and Webby. But Donald wanted a pet, but we never gave them our color designation yet." he said and the farmer and his helper nodded. "Webby, the house keeper's grand daughter?" the farmer said and they nodded. "Yeah she likes the name, before we realized these three are like my son, Jesse Hall and Connie Monroe, but we're a trio."
"We're just missing Louie, which won't be till after Adam Banks joins in, but red, blue and pink for now." Orion said and the farmer nodded. "Alright their family is your mascot, but we got to control this the next 4 years, his great grandson. He sneaks away, we're asking for the riot act from heck from his father, this version is going to be no older then Banks's big brother. Fully grown, his grandson is your son and baby is your daughter." the farmer said and he nodded.
"So Donald and Daisy now?" he asked and the father gave a 'yes' quack to him. "Alright then Donald, you're their mascot, just be careful, you know where your portion of the farm is. But we still got some stray cats on the loose on this side of the creek, be careful you two. Protect the kids, they're small enough they're still easy pickin's." he said and they gave a 'we will' quack to him gently. "Charlie's my son, Charlie Orion now." Orion said smiling and the farmer nodded.
"I saw that line at forty feet in, what was that exactly?" he asked and Gordon started laughing as he answered him. "Made a mistake in practicing outdoors, there's the reason we have walls on the rink, the shot ends up in the snow banks we have no idea where it landed. Till after the snow melts, we lost our first puck." he said and they nodded as they started laughing. "Yeah that and what if one of these brats in the Hawks gets knocked into the stands, what then now."
"The older the kids get and the stronger they get, but Fulton and his counterpart enforcer are the strongest of the team. But did this brat ever consider a case of cut throats or shrapnel based injuries in that decision?" he asked and Orion nodded sternly. "Yeah and why attack when he never had the puck, that's dangerously reckless." Gordon said and Orion nodded. "Donald." Charlie said and he quacked and waddled forward as he pulled out a green cloth with gold.
And bluish purple stripes on the corners as he tilted it and tied it around his shoulders. "Your number as the alpha of your flock is #96, you're the leader, alpha of the flock. So you're our mascot, but that number is mine, but you're an adult, my father's last name is Orion. And you're a duck version to dad, so you get the adult version." he said and Donald gave a quack. "I'm your flock's new mascot now, okay got it, when do my ducklings get their duckling version to it."
"My cape?" he asked with a quack. "A few more weeks, they're 7 year olds in human duck form, a few more weeks and they're becoming, in our eyes, 10 years old. In human duckling form, so they're our age, but your ducklings are getting a duckling version to your new cape." he said and he gave an understanding quack and Charlie ran a hand through his feathers. "Looks like Donald likes your godson, Gordon." he said smiling and they nodded as they watched them.
"My dad is you actually, but he's taking us through protective nest training with black circle, our bad ducklings are nested till further notice." Charlie said and the duck gave a stern quack at the news and he nodded. "Yeah claimed me, good duckling, my playmate, big duckling, a traitor to the flock, for thinking about sister ducks safety. And till I told your two legged counterparts, but they're in deep hot water for that now." he said and he gave a 'I get why duckling' quack to him.
"See you guys soon, with outdoor light going down, us ducklings need to be in the nest now." he said and he gave a quack of understanding. "Yeah guys time to head home now." Gordon said and they nodded and climbed into the van, as they prepared for the rest of the exchange between them and the duo…
The Next Day And Talks II:
The next day they returned to their team meeting after another practice then, after Casey got off work then. "Had a case of trying to get adopted here, we named three ducklings and Huey, the one Charlie named, was trying to get Charlie to bring him home as a pet." Orion said and she and Hall started laughing. "I don't have the necessary equipment to raise my duckling, but he hitches a ride in my bag, we got a duck hunt starting." Charlie said and she nodded smiling.
"Great that is exactly what we don't need, if they get underfoot." Averman said with a chuckle. "What you want a bet that happens twice with his baby brother, during our next gig though?" Jesse said and he started laughing. "No bet, but extremely high, but like Lester said, an adult likes being petted, but as a baby. They like the feeling of our fingers through their down, and so much, they start chasing you around for more pets." Hall said to him, smiling gently then.
"Best drop the surnames guys, we go by name with each other, so Les' and Greg." Averman said and they nodded. "Well you now seen me in action, but I think I'm a stick, while our sister Goalie is the glove." Goldberg said and he nodded. "You are, you're a better stick, you're also very good at blocking the shot with your leg and feet. And while she's the reverse, as a faster glove if we get sum number in players added and to say it now." he said as he said it gently.
"Had a great first practice though, with learning 2-way hockey." Charlie said and he chuckled and nodded. "Jared and Scott are the only that conformed here to it, but the 24, currently are you like two gentlemen, what, learning a new way not worth your time. Or training all week not worth your time, this is why Charlie earned his C, he understands the need for this." he said and the duo flinched as Peter looked at him, his irritation growing at the real coach attitude in him.
"Everything you keep saying to these two are really my words in your voices cubs, but a high lead means nothing, there is no room for that if you can't play defense, don't play defense. But 2 years training I got you up to Jared's level, 2 more and you're entering pro level. When in hockey here, but what these guys see as too easy at our first game game. And with me now head, was just a way of life between us, our tradition in the games, every year was the same."
"But our new strategy now, is we're showing off for two periods, we start playing with them. During the third and then finish out." he said and they smiled as Gordon chuckled then. "Well that makes the game more fun right now." Connie said smiling at his idea then and Claire chuckled then as they exchanged looks then at that. "Yeah Coach, if you get that shot with the minors, you're seeing three more banners with second place on them when you get back."
"We train every summer leading into the off season, so expect that scrimmage game between us and our new players. To get a little out of hand right now, but Uncle Ted took being your co-coach seriously and now that his version made varsity. He's focusing all his time on us, our family gang, in training." Jesse said and he nodded with a smile. "Yep and the schedule is fixed indefinitely starting now, everyday is the same thing, Fridays are scrimmage games now."
"But remember here, what Ted and I said on that, regarding what I said in our first real practice." Gordon said and they nodded to him. "That's like the level of the fight between those two, Ralph got him in the chest, before the next strike. Said was scissor legs, knock his leg out from under him, and one blow to the back of the head. But first learn said kick and then we learn to fly, just watch the wing, before you get smacked." Charlie said and they nodded gently.
"Duck under the swing at the head, scissor legs and one blow to the back of the head, that's soft karate in being a Duck, keep it up you bird brain, we're going to extreme measures. But touch our sisters, you got us on your heads, hands off, buster." Jesse said and their parents started laughing. "Yeah boys take it easy, just because we're co-ed doesn't mean to start going alpha male with the girls, take it down a notch." Orion said for both of them and they nodded gently.
"You think our new goalie is a girl, will be a girl later on?" Fulton asked and he nodded. "I do, but old Ducks and new Ducks combined, the sticks crossed are the new quintet, the Duncans. Terry and these two, while our new sharp shooter is Adam, if he decides to switch teams now, but first day in the meet and greet and we decide talk first. And before practice, but after two years of this, it's a case of you finally grew too attached to me here." he said and they nodded.
"To get back to this, when you became our coach, both of you, you taught us a few things, but it's not just on hockey, it's about life as well. The championships are the big one, we can insure we save her, but the wager should take care of it for us now. We win, they lose one year off 5, they win, we start at the same time, but either way the damage is done. We spot them 5, dad's training brought us to their level now, Coach." Charlie said and Gordon crossed his arms then.
"Damned if you, damned if you don't, so take out a third option: a little off the top is all we ask, just one year is all we ask." Orion translated and Gordon nodded. "They don't and we play for the money, the wager, we win, they lose one off 5, they win, we start at the same time. But either way the damage is done, the city adult population will never let Reilly and his current. Live this down, they're branded as the Socs that tried to kill Chris." he said and Gordon nodded.
"Ouch." the 9 said together and Orion chuckled then. "Yeah point made son, they said cold blooded killer in every way you can say it here now in truth now. By refusing to part with a little of their tuition money, but boys, show me you have a heart here." Gordon said with a stern smile at that. "You trained us a little too well, both of you did, but you created us, dad furthered us, our traditions stay strong in him, just 4 years then time to let go, but the memories now."
"Said are forever, but how long before no more scholarships, what we got left, but each other and the memories, life lessons on being a Duck. Your lecture to us after these two got boxed for raising their voices at you, strange curves. Case in point, us finding each other this young, we change and prove your point. You did tell Ducksworth we can give back to the community, time to make your remark a reality, he sponsors us, we finish the job, and save a little girl's life."
"Ducksworth, the firm that gives back to the community, case in point now, we can finish the job raising the money, but are school sales not worth their time. Really, are donations by $5 to $10 not worth their time, if they were really his friends, a little off the top. That is not a big thing, we just said friend in every way you can say by sacrificing our homes for him." Charlie said and the 8 nodded in agreement. "And there's my cub, you did it." Orion said smiling and he smiled then.
"His mother was a simple florist, his coach, so to speak, was a pro baseball player, together, our baseball counterpart totaled his allowance on the same scale. But together, we got enough for 1/4 of the Hawks, so $6,500x24=…" Charlie said and Orion nodded. "Total comes to exactly the same amount as the experimental treatment, this is wasting time she does not have. They gone to every decision, except offer a little off the top." Chef Goldberg said sternly to revelation then.
"Gary is a baseball version of me son, but there it is, that kid is borderline 13, you're going on 11." Orion said gently and he nodded in agreement. "My income as a coach at the school, total is $175,000 a year, in both coaching and being a chemistry teacher. That's me, plus your stepmother's income, together we make $250,000." he told him and he nodded. "And I make $60,000 a year, 1/4 of that was my tips." Casey said and he nodded in agreement then gently.
"So plan of action formed, honey, we decided practice 4 times of week, practice games on Friday for the upcoming game that Saturday. And study sessions directly after practice, after you get off, I'll bring him home to your apartment." Orion said and Casey nodded. "Joint custody and he sees you every day, so yeah plan of action set in our case of the schedule is fixed. For the rest of the team, that's perfect, I know where he is after school now." she said smiling and he nodded.
"What amount there is left, we get it all, and create a bag and uniform for him, welcome to the team present." Charlie said and she nodded smiling. "And there's my boy, but having your father back, there's the you I know." she said and he looked down, smiling. "Guys plan change, with us running several businesses or what not right now, the sales at school should help. The money is split 4 ways, and one of them goes to Jared and Adam." Orion said smiling and they nodded.
"We have to help them, this is not what they think, being his new team, we do what these hotshots never did and refused to. We offer a little off the top and start collecting donations from the individual, not the companies now." Charlie said and their parents nodded in agreement. "And I just started that, by the new tips that I just gained." she said and Orion nodded then. "What, what's wrong, Charlie?" Connie asked him and his eyes narrowed in anger then firmly.
"The Hawks basically said through not offering a little bit off the top, she dies and good riddance, so long as we keep our tuition money to the academy. But just wait till the Banks's hear that truth, once I test Larson and McGill, dad now. He is Adam's older brother's coach, if we can get Jared and his best friend on our side, it's all over town in a week now." Charlie said and they nodded in shocked fury. "Dead duck walking." Averman said and he nodded sternly.
"Never mind the try and trust, our creating one for him, he's an equal, and us just helping him this way, we're offering our hand in friendship now. He needs us, so we do everything we can for them, though I don't doubt Jared's version of me decided this as well. But two weeks worth of work and then we reveal what we been up to for them." he said and the 9 nodded in agreement. "Agreed." they said together and Orion and Gordon smiled at that response gently then at that.
"We may not have much, but we offer what do we have for them." Jesse said and Connie and Averman nodded in agreement. "Coach, give it two weeks and then tell them what we been up to for them right now, we're in practice everyday till the next game. Study period, we create a bag, a jersey for him, just take his mind off his pain, after he makes his choice." he said and Orion nodded smiling. "Nice thinking right now, son." he said and Gordon nodded in agreement.
"Before you say it young man, this is non negotiable, Charlie was just given orders by his father and me, but this psychosis over Gordon's remark to Reilly. You just shot yourself in the leg as sooner or later we were going to catch you in your lies and when we do. You lost all respect from your team mates, and David with you, but provoke my son, you're off the team." Casey said to Peter and he paled, realizing she already knew the direction that the conversation took then.
"And frankly we, your parents, don't care who the coach is, could be Gordon, or it could be Ted, but what you did out there, your reaction, was beyond juvenile. Because Coach Orion nothing, you used to feel the same about Gordon you do about Ted, remember. Well we think that the only thing that needs to change around here, is your attitude problem. Getting used to a new coach, there is always a drawback, but the try and trust is over, but the 7 love Ted like a father."
"To my son, he is, but if Gordon was his best friend, then if we stayed together, Gordon just happens to be his godfather." She said sternly and they both went white at that. "That's why he sided with Gordon immediately, there is nothing wrong with siding with your parent. If they're your coach, in this case it's the adoptive parent, now that's enough, as of now. You're both on probation, but I'm den mother, you two, so enough." she said sternly and they nodded sadly.
"Also, my relationship with Gordon is none of your business, right now we're early portions of that connection, but after Richard, I'm not getting married again. I'm single, though I date other men, my love life is none of your business, in his words, what I do, is no business of your's. Is that clear young man?" she said sternly and he swallowed hard then. "No kidding, if my counterpart makes that implication, I'm hearing that sentence from the Coach next right now."
"Aunt Casey." Fulton said and Gordon nodded in stern agreement. "And when you know we been testing the quintet here right now for weeks after that right now. The fact he immediately assumed and threw that implication at me, and you knew in advance, I was faking it. He got you into this, now get you out, as you're all furious he got you sentenced here to night practice." he said and the sextet nodded in stern agreement then at remark in disgust as Peter swallowed.
