The Mighty Ducks Re-Imagined I: The Mighty Ducks

Warnings: With this chapter, this is going to show a small portion of the possible theory to Adam's origin story in the Ducks. As Charlie takes charge and becomes his best friend on the team as the quintet do the same now for him. This is also going to be a re-imagining of the Mighty Ducks trilogy as Charlie meets Orion at the age of 10, as their lives are fused together.

As they prepare for what their future brings now, and as Charlie learns the truth. And this soon, that Orion is his real father and he has a life outside of the team. This is also going to leave out the tv show, so an alternate reality story.

Chapter 16: A New Duck And The Lines Are Drawn I

"Yeah the Hawks are wasting time we do not have, and with us, are the cubs in sum number in families, so we do it this way, we gained a few hundred thousand in only 3 weeks. Adam is going to be so thrilled at this right now, that you saved his sister, my daughter now. And by doing it this way, thanks again Gordon, we owe you big now." he said and Gordon nodded. "As for you Jack, if your players in truth can't find it in their hearts to give up one year, one year for her."

"Then your current set, both versions, aside from Jared and Scott are losers, and we hate losers don't we, they don't even deserve to live." he said and Reilly swallowed hard, now realizing he meant them at that. "Not worth winning if you can't win big, win, you used that chant for 25 years, but this was never about Winny, you're using her for your own image." he growled and he swallowed hard, now realizing they got caught, and they were screwed once the truth came out.

"You're a murderer, how can you be so without heart exactly, are fundraising by moderate priced goods not worth your time, you can ask to sell candy, books, do car washes. That takes less time then going through every bookie like this, you loser?" he asked and he started shaking at that, realizing he and the board were screwed now. "But I swear, you touch my godson, or target Adam, your but is in that court room, you forget what I am." he growled at him then.

"Hey Gordon, the entire fundraiser in our district over shot the limit completely, in the hockey gear, we had 250 purchases of the Banks's duffle for gear, 300 more of the others. And the adults had 400 more in the adult gear!" they heard through the door and Banks nodded in shock then to the news. "Oh my god, that's $13,750!" he said and Gordon nodded and he smiled. "You over did it, Gordon." Ducksworth said in a deadpan and Banks started laughing at that remark.

"More like $7,850, and that's Adam's number, the others all reached twice that and it's coming in the door faster then we can count it here. But the donation jars are filling up so fast here, we all had to get safes to hold the money from donations right now. But that envelope, just came from everyone here at the firm itself in the first envelope now. And the second, the donations from the skating shop in the other." Gordon said gently and he nodded with a chuckle then.

"Everyone working here at the firm dished out right now?" Ducksworth said and he nodded. "Yes Sir, 70% of the employment here at the firm is district 5." he said and he nodded gently to him. "Yeah kiddo now you started something here, because doing the fundraiser this way is going so fast, it's going to be quadrupled by the end of the season." Ducksworth said with a smile, at Charlie's idea then and Banks nodded in agreement with a smile then and Gordon nodded then.

"And that's just for starters here right now, the Goldbergs run that butcher and sandwich shop, the Germaines, Casey, and Claire Monroe, we been working over time. And the total came to exactly $75,000.00, Ted is doing it from the academy, I think Jared. He's moving back into the house, while Scott is about to get involved next." he said and Banks nodded, smiling. "Casey was Ted's first wife, if they stayed together, they named me Charlie's godfather and they did."

"But with my skill as a lawyer now, and sorry Sir, I'm going freelance, but I'll stay in touch." he said and Ducksworth nodded, sighing. "I understand, you gave me a good 5 years, you'll be missed, but we're sticking with you now, as the sponsor. Although Hendrix finds out, they're going to be furious, we're using their gear as sponsored under the firm now." he said and they nodded. "Yeah I get why, but it's kidnapping with the hatchlings." he said and they nodded then.

"No longer about the game or the kids, but you, your family and others like you with a sick cub, but this is not worth winning, if you can't win big." he said and Ducksworth smiled, now realizing his getting him out of the office for a few weeks changed him. "This was me, when I was a teenager, Buckley was my coach, my teacher, the team decided to play for Ted. They're working at getting into the academy, but Jared and Scott went big brother." he said and Banks smiled.

"Jared hid this from us and his brother, a surprise till you sprung this on me, he dropped by the shop, saw the number and then realized by buying Adam's number on your team. They were really supporting us at $15.00 a bag total comes to $4,250.00 currently." he said and he nodded and he nodded in gratitude then. "Charlie is Adam's version of Scott now, doing anything he can, but he's offering to be his new best friend in the Ducks." he said and he nodded smiling gently.

"Gets better, but he too has a younger sister, he would do anything for her, so he, Tammy and Jesse understand perfectly." he said and Banks nodded in gratitude. "They all got a sibling here, so the choice has never been easier now, to help me, help Adam. They're raising the money for us, three weeks reached exactly $65,000, plus another $20,850 today. Yeah okay, I take back my original remark, said deal with the league, I'm throwing it out, little backstabbers now."

"Well like I said the deal struck out." Banks said sternly, and Reilly paled at that, now realizing he lost his ace player then. "Agreed, the deal with the leagues is done." Ducksworth said sternly to that. "So you want to make that bet, that wager right now Reilly, we win, the 24 pay up, they lose one year off 5, you win now. The teams start at the same time, but you know what either way the damage is done and your credibility is shot." Gordon said and Reilly swallowed hard.

"Train them well, they're going to need it, because we train everyday, we're also 2-way hockey, offense and defense." he said and he nodded, shaking as Banks said it. "Jared said that he's teaching them that right now, but the 24 are not conforming, but he and Scott did." he said and Gordon nodded. "Charlie loves the change up now, enjoying it so much, we mixed our training styles together and the kids, in only 3 weeks got so good at it, it, the game with the Huskies."

"Is about to be a demo, before the championships and playoffs." he said and Ducksworth chuckled at the news gently. "Oh one other thing Phil, if you need a babysitter or a way to keep track of Adam now, a new schedule for Adam. Well I can do that, the kids fixed their schedules starting now, but the kids and their parents decided training all week, and study sessions now. But scrimmage games every Friday now with the school games every Friday afternoon then."

"So you can see how the team is doing between games during the playoffs." he said and Banks nodded to the news then gently. "Gordon you don't have to leave, I can just keep paying you this way, as you work outside the office, now, dual career now. If you plan to take that shot into the minors now." Ducksworth said and he nodded. "Done then, I can grab my stuff, but I'm keeping in touch as we keep up the regime now." he said and he smiled in relief he decided that.

"Yeah alright, once this gets to my wife and the kids, it's up to him now." Banks said and Gordon nodded, as he shook his hand. "I better pack up Sir, but putting together a court case in case of trouble once the brothers of Ted's version find out what Reilly and his ex trio agreed to." he said and he nodded. "Agreed, there is no getting out of this, this was agreed to fair and square, any attempt at cheating and they forfeit things to you, period." he said sternly and he nodded then.

As he left and the duo exchanged looks and nodded as he put the envelopes in his jacket pocket then as he grabbed it and put it on. "Phil…" Reilly said and he said it with a growl. "Don't Jack, don't bother, like them, to think I wasted 5 years worrying about what you thought. You're going down Jack, train them, I mean it, train those two hard they're going to need it now. My family went duck, so train them hard now." he said and as he grabbed his suitcase as he left the office.

And drove home, as he came in and slammed the door. "Uh oh, dad's furious right now." he heard from his youngest son and nodded in agreement. "Damn right son, and the reason why is because of Jack Reilly and the Hawks." he said as he came into the kitchen and they stood up. "Why exactly?" his wife Crystal asked and he passed the amount to her. "Because these brats went to every possible choice, but the most obvious." he said and she opened the envelope.

"Charlie Orion wrote this up, symbolizing a single thing to us, your friends and team mates went to every option, but offer a little off the top." he said and passed Adam the numbering sheet Charlie created and he read through it, and his heart broke. "That's it, I'm not worth losing a single year off your time at the academy." he said, shaking in pain then and Banks nodded delicately, as he put his hand on his shoulder, as he answered him then, as he gave the number.

"That amount given totals to $75,500.00." he said and they nodded in shocked disbelief. "They got us this much in only 3 week, who did this exactly?" she asked and he smiled. "The Ducks did." he said and Adam sat down. "Before we got in another $10,350, so in total, is $85,850.00, and that is just in a month right now now." he said and she nodded in shocked delight as Adam, trying to focus through the shock, he closed his eyes at the smiles then on the 10's faces gently.

As the look of friends and a team mate, the way they exchanged knowing smiles of affection for him, Connie's hand on his back, the duckling with his new number on it on the drawing. And it hit him, as he put him hand over his heart then, realizing it gently. 'Charlie, that's what you were trying to tell me man, you were about to start raising it." he thought as he said it. "So that's what you guys been up to all this time, you been raising the money for us, Charlie…"

"Thank you Charlie, thank you so much." he said, wiping the tears off his face, in happiness now realizing this was the reason for the duckling with #99 Banks on it. "I saw an 11th duckling on a drawing he was working on with my name on it, this is what he was saying. It's they were doing this for me, they invited me to join the team and as a welcome to the team present. They raised the rest of the money for us!" he said smiling in delight and she nodded smiling in relief then.

"Gets better, but the Ducks, as a family gang, invited us to join the family." Banks said and they nodded smiling. "Jared's coach is Charlie's father." Adam said and she nodded, smiling. "While at the firm, in the middle of the conversation and you're going to love this right now. But gear duffle bags were marked by player numbers, they said Gordon's godfather now. He sold 285 bags with your number on it, in support of our family." he said and they nodded, smiling then.

"Yeah man you over did it right now, but Winny, your coin of phrase shot through the entire district like a brush fire here." he said laughing and she nodded, smiling gently in affection at the boy that became her version of Scooter then. "But, and you're going to want to sit down for what I say next guys, but they chose between their apartments and you, baby. To them it's no contest now, it's you." he said and Crystal sat down as the tears started running down her face.

"They chose between being homeless and our daughter and it's no contest, it's us?" she said, trying to control her voice and he nodded. "Charlie, man, you didn't have to make that choice, these fundraisers are more then enough, but I understand bro, I get it. I love you too man, but yeah I accept, I accept the offer, and I will, I'm joining the flock man, I'm coming home." Adam said, wiping the tears off his face, realizing that said everything that needed to be said to him.

"The guys never said that, brother, best friend, the Ducks say brother in everyway you can say it here, Charlie is saying he's offering to be my best friend on the Ducks. My new trio or quartet are him and Jesse Hall, whatever my color designation is and Connie. She's the 4th member of our quartet, so we get an exchange, said is next year, our colors. Said are reused for that show, Les', he's blue, I'm possibly green, Charlie is red and Connie is pink." he said and they nodded.

"Dad, I'm switching teams, I'm joining the ducks." he said and Banks nodded, before they heard a tapping on the back door in the kitchen. "I'll get it." he added and moved to the door and opened it. "Quack!" he heard and looked down and saw an adult white duck with a green cloth tied around his neck with the name 'Donald' on it and with it, a #96 Orion on it. "You're Coach Orion's duck counterpart, aren't you?" he asked him and he gave a 'yes' quack to him then.

"Hey boy, so you're the team mascot?" he asked and the duck gave a quack. "Tell duckling alpha, I'm joining the flock, if duck second alpha is my future alpha. I want training by him now, so I'm joining in now, I'm a duck." he said and he gave a quack and waddled away as he closed the door. "The team mascot just showed up, they named him Donald, but if that's Donald, then his wife they named Daisy right now here." he said and they started laughing at that news.

"A real duck and they named him Donald, so a real Donald Duck." she said smiling, before there was a knock on the front door and he went to get it then and saw Charlie with two bags over his shoulder. "Hey Charlie, thanks again man." he said smiling and he nodded as Adam took the second. "Hey guys!" they heard and Adam turned back and saw Orion and he nodded. "Hey Coach, nice to meet you in person." he said to him gently as they headed into the kitchen.

"Hey Ted, thanks again man." Banks said and Orion nodded as he passed another envelope to him. "That's the school, total comes to $30,000 guys." he said and they nodded smiling. "So that makes $115,850.00 now, god that's quick, only 3 weeks by moderate priced goods. I never would have thought of that, nice thinking." she said smiling and Charlie nodded smiling gently. "I know you were desperate, we understand that, it's fine, but at times movies like Whoopi's."

"They become a life saver now, remember her fundraising to help fix the church roof?" he asked and she nodded. "We're Catholic, so we went with that area, charity, this coming Home Alone movie, that's the punchline now. Everything he sold at his toystore, the money goes to the hospital, but #99, that number is your's. As we split the amount totaling whatever right down the middle, but the amounts are coming in too quick to count." he said and she nodded smiling.

"Jared said just seeing you and your father together, you were like a cub version of Ted, and seeing it now, I believe that even more." Banks said smiling and he nodded as Orion nodded with a smile. "He's changed so much since I found him, since we found each other, that he's become me when I was your age son." he said and Adam smiled in relief. "Yeah I'll say, but buddy, your idea is getting out of control in town here, this idea started such a brushfire."

"The money is coming in faster then we can count it right now." Adam said smiling then gently. "Well my idea had just added the motto to it, not worth winning if you can't win big now in truth. But said big is not just your family, but the cubs at the hospital in her condition, $5 to $10 donations, your gear the entire thing, the entire ensemble costs only $15.00." he said and they nodded as they opened up the bag and saw his new gear, plus the entire team colors then.

"Whoa, all this for only $15.00, that's a steal." Winny said smiling and the Banks's nodded in agreement to her opinion. "Yeah the families of said players, they get their own copy, everything now, but while the Hawks gear belongs to the team. And Jared said they reused their numbers for the Warriors J.V. now in truth, but our gear is meant to sold now. During a conversation in a family meeting, we realized once the truth got out, it's the Narrator all over again now in truth."

"They're desperate after seeing my training you for 3 months, but again and again, how many claw marks can one take to the wing, before they too become easy pickin's?" Orion asked and her parents nodded sternly. "Ew, right, our breed are domesticated, bred for, alright I'm never eating duck again now." Adam said in response and he nodded. "We just realized that ourselves a month ago and decided on a new strategy for 2-way." Charlie said gently and Adam nodded.

"Treating our goal like the basket meant for the stove top, we're keeping said eggs from ending up in that basket, while, in our eyes, the opposing goal is the Hawks nest. So keeping baby from ending up on the menu, and knocking the hawk chicks back at the nest. They need further training right now, with dad a pro hockey player." he said and Adam nodded as his parents nodded bemused at the strategy as she nodded as she pulled her Donald duck doll closer to her.

"At least our version is not walking around in this ensemble, but has his adult colors set to him, so the fluffballs now have a smaller cape in his colors, with our numbers and names on them." Adam said, looking at her stuffed duck and Charlie started laughing. "Yeah at this age, they're no older then we are, so still a duckling, they're 7 weeks old now, that scarf I put on him. Means he's the duck leader of the flock, our mascot now." he said and they nodded smiling then gently.

"Yeah during the summer he's walking around with Donald's blue shirt, a red scarf around his neck and then during the winter, he's dressed in his scar as the team mascot." Orion said smiling and he nodded in agreement. "So are the quartet, they're walking around in cape versions of our jerseys now, as are the 7 later. Daisy is the den mother, but the quartet, red, pink, blue and green now." he said and she chuckled as she looked at her version, smiling.

"I see red under your new sweater, Charlie, you're Huey?" she said and he nodded, smiling gently then. "Yeah my favorite is red, so I'm Huey, Les' and Jesse are spotting turns with Dewey right now, unless we get another show next year that has these same colors. Before the ending results are these guys start winging each other one too many times in the head or chest." he said and she and Adam started laughing at that. "The pillow." she said and he nodded, smiling.

"Yeah like any normal preteen these guys, once they start going at it, our parents had to break it up, watch this." he said as they saw him, Connie and Jesse and then heard a peep as two ducklings were talking, before she smacked her brother in the chest. Before their father quacks at them and they give a peep, before the third peeps at them gently and they started laughing. "Alright you guys, that's enough of that." Banks said to translate the quack and he nodded then.

"No kidding here, but would you guys cool it already, Jesse stop antagonizing her and Connie take it easy already, you don't have to beat him senseless." Adam added through his laughter and she nodded smiling in agreement. "My father already demonstrated that, so start the bickering matches and he's going to the standard parent reply with it." he said and he nodded. "I don't care who started it, I'm ending it, now enough already." Crystal said with a gentle smile.

"The truth is our families are the best of friends now, not being stuck up, we were born and raised together." Charlie said and the Banks's nodded gently. "Before you added us, the Reeds and Duncans to the flock, the gang, we understand and that's fine now." Adam said smiling and he nodded. "You remember the karate Dojo that Lawrence belonged to?" he asked and they nodded. "Well take away the hawk and put a cobra on it…." he said and they straightened then.

"My team mates are the Cobra Kai!" he said in shock and Orion nodded. "We're first generation Ducks, but the Hawks have been around for 40 years and Hans is Reilly's age. So like Ralph created the Myagi Do Karate Dojo, for Gordon now in truth here, remembering that. He invented a new team, changed the district appeared and we gained our mascot now, so the Ducks. These other idiots never had the time nor patience to train them." Orion said and they nodded gently.

"Gordon said you threw Marks and Karp off the team?" Banks asked and Orion crossed his arms as he answered him. "What happens at this age if you're a boy, and he grew up without a father?" he asked and Banks crossed his arms. "Meaning if we switched coaches and never got to know you over the summer Charlie changes in personality. Scaring the us: the team, our parents, you and your peers, and out of our wits!" Adam said in shock and Charlie nodded then.

"These idiots never considered that one thing when you supposedly grow up without a father and we just barely prevented it now, we met the week before said attempted mugging." he said and she crossed her arms. "You just got back together with your father and to prevent a case of paternal abandonment. And instead of that, you find your father, yeah these brats are in big trouble." she said and Charlie nodded as Banks changed the subject as he looked at his gear.

As he saw a winter jacket in preteen/teenage form, a second as an adult with the duck patch on it, and the name across the back of it. And as well as a couple sweaters and few hats with it and Adam nodded. "I was #9 on the Hawks and now I'm #99 on the Ducks, so what is your number on the team?" he asked and Charlie smiled. "I'm #96, but like the coach and dad, what do you say of being co captains?" he asked and Adam smiled.

"That's fine, my partner, my total equal, my best friend, yeah that's fine brother." he said and Banks chuckled as he and Orion exchanged smiles at the offer then. "The second bag was meant to be our out of state luggage duffle bag, so on addition. Now, to our gear, we use that designation now in traveling around the country now like this. So though whatever new alias we get, we're still the Ducks." Charlie said and Adam nodded gently.

"So one bag is for the peewees in the home state, the second carries our gear and clothes for our out of state games in whatever gig we get. And let me guess, that one gets a color designation change, as you left the choice to me. And I make it now, because Jared's starting to recover from that attitude, Scooter with him. Just trade the blue for red and gold and with a Cobra on the shoulder and back, rather then a Hawk."

"Just what would he turn me into if you never intervened?" he asked and Orion sighed as he told him the truth. "After 8 years, you become the teenage hockey player that Anderson was trying to deal with, and put his counterpart in the hospital. You're still very young that you don't see this as if his words are the end all and be all of hockey. Now, and not when your new best friend's biological father is a retired pro hockey player now."

"Your brother is conforming fast to my way of training he and Scooter still have their innocence and you just gave it up as we start training you. The others, their team are too far gone to realize they become murderers if someone breaks a rib or worse. "But his remark of putting you out of the game is the same as saying 'out of commssion.'. Or 'Sweep the leg', so your ex peers basically don't realize they're the Cobra Kai now."

'Your brother and Scooter are now basically Bobby Larson as he realized what he was saying could get him banned from the competitions for life." he said and Adam nodded sternly then as that made his choice as he took the jacket and hat. And put it with his new gear as he loaded up the Hawk equipment, stuck it back in his equipment bag. And waited for the rest of his former trio to arrive, knowing his practice at the remark firmly.

As he saw the fleece practice sweats and then the yellow turtle neck, with green and blue circles in the neck and wrist cuffs to go with it and smiled. And as he went to change and put them on then as he saw it fit him perfectly. And nodded as he checked his new jacket and smiled as he felt it fit him perfectly then. In knowing where this was leading they had taken a guess at his frame and knew he was Charlie's size in clothes as he saw Charlie.

Who was dressed in a matching set as he came out then. "You're history Reilly, the Hawk that drowned in the lake and became a Duck now. But my adult peers and me, my brother and Scooter, we're free of you right now. But to think, I waited the last 18 months, worrying about what you thought, you're going down, Reilly." he said sternly and Orion nodded sternly agreement to that remark then as ge explained the reason then.

"Anyone pay attention that their opponents all wore white and they were dressed in black, with your brother's varsity uniform coloring?" Charlie asked and Banks covered his eyes. "That's a message: black is evil, white is good right now, meaning once we go from green and yellow to full white, it's treating this like our counterparts. And as we're going through black uniformed teams left and right as we keep beating these guys right now."

"Starting with the junior version of the Varsity, our version right now, as this results in a case of constant dealings at the moment here. But if this means undercover with these idiots in Jared's team, it's we now got to tick them off enough. To throw the first punch and then expose themselves to your father by said keyword. But what goes around, comes around, and it's coming around now." Adam said and Orion nodded in agreement.

"And Jared, Scooter and I had nothing to do with this practical joke, but leaving the team to pay for the co check at the said whatever. They had it coming, I am not a Hawk or Warior, I am a Duck, you are my coach, Coach, so with that. For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction and the mastermind to this practical joke. Now has them so ticked off, they forgot you get in at Dawn every morning." he said and he nodded gently.

"For obvious reason, they're so furious they all forgot their common sense as my counterpart JV coaches and I get in at dawn, so we can get our criteria set. And for the day's practice, and my office is right next door to the locker room. That I can hear the noise and come running to break it up, but did it ever occur to them. That if Charlie is recovering from a recently broken rib or collapsed lung, this gave the 15 of you now."

"A reason, just to kill these idiots, and with them Peterson and David, for almost putting Charlie back in the hospital right now?" he asked and the Banks's nodded sternly. "My best friend shouldn't even be playing and the duo forced him into a match. When he is in no condition for this, are you idiots out of your minds right now in truth. The Doctor said no playing till the Pinehurst game, dang it!" Adam said angrily and Charlie nodded then.

"That's 5 years Friendship right now, plus another 4 years leading into high school and we've been together so long right now. That we never separated at all, but we're a real team, we support each other, not put each other down. That's the third reason I wanted them off the team right now, every time I get ready to score. Those idiots do something to psyche me out, they don't deserve our designation." he said and Adam nodded gently.

"You said those idiots were the only hold outs, so what happens if, after 4 years of us being together, their probation is the academy and the team?" he asked and Orion crossed his arms. "They got a more stern coach to deal with, but Charlie's in training to go without the C, then again after 4 years with the correct decisions he doesn't ned the symbol. To prove he's the captain, it shows in every-way possible, but the 11 of you, you're used to my being coach."

"Knowing my training strategies, you're used to it, after I took over for Gordon if he gets said try-out with the minors after this season is over. So to you, this is not a big deal, but Charlie actually gave said example of our first game right now. Followed by the fall out, with it, but with finding me and this young, he's like the rest of the team and Fulton with him. Happy and comfortable, conforming this young to it, is they're now happy as my players, you with them."

"That to 'them', and I'm not saying it, but they see me as a drill sergeant and can't play for me." he said and Adam nodded gently. "And to quote you now, after said brawl, and if Charlie gets injured in our first game at the academy right now. But they got 2 choices here right now: either take the old ones off or they don't play, it's been 4 years, we grew up. We're not little ducklings anymore, we're teenagers on the edge of high school and just started the 8th grade now."

"Hey had enough, okay leave, we have plenty of players, and soon my cross and double is over, I'm back in the team. As we wait for the Halls to get back along with our missing sum member now, but they got a problem. Then by all means leave, just leave, but the rest of us, we love you as our coach, but who are they kidding. If they hate adult authority why be on a hockey team, when the man that leads us is an adult here." he said and Orion nodded gently to him.

"I get it guys, you knew me longest that you knew when Gordon's not here, I'm in charge of the team as we do this, but said schedule just insured less trouble. And more getting prepared for what you're getting ready to do, in any case you spent 4 years with me. That you're quoting the advice I gave you all the time and with my being your JV coach now. The ending results are, it's not mocking at all, but love and respect here." he said and the duo nodded in agreement then.

That they're going to realize they should have conformed sooner and you thought of them as a lost cause. "So green with yellow and bluish purple mixed in right now, huh, nice choice, that looks better then the sky blue mixed in with the black." he said and Charlie nodded. "Well Hawks are raptors, bird a prey, but these guys are solo animals, grow up a pack animal. The results are, mess with one member of the team, you got the others on your head. And ready to remove it, so say that he tells McGill and Larson to lay you out in the middle of first period."

"The rest of us are making the same declaration that dad and the coach are to Reilly and to think we wasted all that time. In worrying about what they thought, they're going to get it for that, I mean if you hadn't been wearing your helmet that day." he said and Adam nodded. "Alright, so the pads are purplish blue with green and yellow stripes in the legs, the sweats are green with 2 yellow lines down them, okay that's cool." he said and Orion nodded as he said it.

And pulled on the zip up sweater and curled the neck collar more comfortably around his neck as he saw he looked better in green then black with blue mixed in. "If I wasn't sure before I am now, but you look better in green with the gold, then black and blue. But this says it all now right now, that this fits your personality better then the Hawks." His mother said smiling and he smiled and nodded as he sat at the table with Charlie."

"Nice fit and fleece, with us in the middle of January, we got a way of staying warm, yeah this is beyond comfortable right now. "Yeah we did, but your choice now in truth, as one son is now a Warrior JV and the other a duck." he said and Banks nodded as his wife pulled on the sweater. "At the moment, with the symbolism on these, we just hatched." he said and Adam looked at the yellow then.

As Banks stuffed the old jacket into the duffle bag and Orion nodded gently. "Your brother is a JV warrior, you're a Duck now, we're starting a fresh start here now. But currently 4th grade and 4 years you are in the 8th grade and the academy is 5 years. So let me take a wild guess, but you're doing the last 5 years after Gordon turns the kids. The team, over to you, Ted?" Banks asked and he nodded, smiling, and his wife chuckled.

"This was the next form of our uniforms now, I'm creating this one and passing it to Hans's older brother." Charlie said, passing it to him and he saw a hockey mask, shaped like a cartoon duck face with 2 hockey sticks crossed behind it. "This is old ducks and new ducks united, our current version is we're ducklings learning to fly. That one is age 12 to 14 and permanent after we start at the academy." he said to him and he nodded.

"If we were real ducks, this is us, and my dad, when the coach isn't here." he said, passing a drawing he created, with the 11 of them with Adam in the middle. And his father standing next to Fulton and they chuckled and nodded. "That's cute, so let me guess, my duck double was chasing after you guys and you were playing a prank on me. Before I smacked you, you smack me and then a pillow fight breaks out between us?" Adam asked and Charlie nodded to him.

"At that age, they're able to communicate to each other by what we normally hear as peeps, but after being able to translate what they're saying to each other. We all realized if this was what goes on is going to have dad trying to break it up right now. Before a debate results in a pillow fight and he gets smacked in the middle of the blow out." he said and Adam started laughing. "And again, I don't care who started it, I'm ending it guys." Orion said with an amused smile.

"The numbers on our capes are our corresponding jersey numbers, I created a copy of this for my sister, and she was finding this funny. But turns out Donald, Daisy, the triplets and Scrooge, let alone Mega Duck are all Pekins in truth here. But the triplets are 18 months old, we just hatched so still yellow right now." he explained and the trio nodded smiling then. "So the 11 of us are yellow, Coach Orion is an adult, he's white, and this is us, when the Coach is not here."

"I get it, but that's cool, okay, so I'm a duckling and I never grew my wings in yet." he said, before they heard a peep on the back door step and he went to look out the window and started laughing. "Hey Charlie, we got company, our little counterpart just came to check in." he said and Charlie moved behind him and chuckled. " Hey Louie?" he said and he gave him a gentle peep in response then and Adam smiled at the new nickname as his counterpart gave a peep.

"So Louie, I'm Louie now, you Huey and Jesse Dewey, let me guess, Connie is Webby?" he asked and he nodded. "Yeah the flock designated themselves our new mascots, your house is on the creek next to the farm, so Louie paddled here and reported in. He's you as a duckling, but Huey was asking for pets and I know what happens if I do that, but as a flock. We're a family, so family gang now, you're one of the gang, family, now." he said and Banks chuckled at the news.

As he looked at the drawing and then looked at them with an amused smile in his eyes. "Peep?" he said and Charlie chuckled and nodded. "Yeah that's our own flock, but the green cloth across our backs, it symbolizes our winter down, with our numbers in the flock on them. We're a flock playing with the black circle as big as your eggs with curved branches now in truth. My papa duck, he's teaching my playmate's big brother duck." he said and he gave a peep gently then.

"Remember the down we were dressed in at the lake when you saw us and your brothers and sisters started going at it?" he asked and the duckling gave a peep. "Well that's our game down with black circle, these capes symbolize our down, but we're ducklings. And papa and second papa duck are adult ducks, but they're a training duck, my father is counterpart's. His big brother duck's training duck, he's co-duck with our current." he said and the duckling peeped.

Before they heard a second and saw his own little counterpart next to him and then saw a white American Pekin duck next to them and try to keep from laughing. "That's you, me and my father right now, but we saw this on tv and saw these guys. As they were debating something and a duck version of a pillow fight broke out. Before their father tried to step in and got smacked in the blow out." he said and Adam started laughing.

"You that adult duck in the moving pictures on nature?" he asked and he gave a quack. "That was my current duckling flock, his sister was talking to him, his brother started a debate and a fight got started, in trying to end it, my oldest smacked me in the head." he read out with the sequence of quacks and they started laughing. "Peep." the one in front of him said and his counterpart looked at him. "Peep." he said in response and he sighed.

"Quack." the adult said bemused and he nodded. "He started it" Charlie said and Adam hid a laugh as he answered that. "No you started it." he said, before they heard the answering response from his father. "Look, I don't care who started it, I'm ending it, now break it up boys." Orion said calling out from the kitchen table and the duck gave a quack of agreement as the duo looked down with a smile in their eyes and Charlie nodded then.

"You mind?" he asked and the duckling gave a 'No, it's fine, brother' peep to him and he ran his fingers through his down and he gave a happy peep to that. "How old are you guys?" he asked and he gave a peep. "You're 7 weeks old now huh, well that's 10 year old two legged duckling age, we're no older then you and my sister is a 3 weeks old." he said and the adult quacked. "Yeah, but baby sister lost her ability to paddle." he said and the duck gave a sighing quack.

"If not able to paddle, we got other ways, but her ability to fly is a sitting down device with circles, she's able to move around that way. As for us, you see us dressed in winter down with a strange net that had three red bars on it. And us knocking a black circle as thick as your egg around with white striped branches with words on them. Well that's our game, we're a duckling flock in training by your father's two legged counterpart."

"In total there are now 11 of us, your brother's counterpart is our new addition and your father's counterpart is my back up father duck." he said and he gave a peep then. "Your debates, like our's end in a wing fight right now and enough our father duck. Now has to end it before getting smacked right now in the middle of it with a white version of our wing." he said he gave a peep that had a tone of laughter in his voice and he nodded.

"Tell me about it, you or us and nothing changes, but we just gained a new duckling now. To the flock, my father duck is next in command of the flock if our current lead duck leaves for a flying session. And over our sport, the black circle with curved branches at the moment, but our flying is on shoes with knives." he said and the adult gave a quack. "Yeah we're practicing on pond later in cold weather." Orion said to answer him then.

"You guys just following us around if your next duckling flock, follows us to warm weather and temporary nest?" he asked and he gave a sighing quack and then answered his question as he gave a second. "Oh great, we have his next baby duck flock at wherever our gig is next and we find him. And we know they designated themselves our mascots as they teach us the added social skills with it." Charlie said as he nudged his two away.

"Donald, you remember your counterpart dressed in blue with a red scarf?" he asked and he gave a quack. "We created one for you during the summer, so you can walk around in that, and during winter back with your current one." he said and gave a happy quack to that. "No cap?" he asked him and they chuckled. "You want to look like a real version to your double?" he asked and he gave a 'yes' quack. "Alright you get a sailor cap." he said and he gave a happy quack

"And guys, you got your colors as red, blue and green, Webby has pink, so that's the 4 of you. During the summer, but try to to keep it under control, we got to make miniature versions to those baseball caps, but you three get one in your colors, your sister has a pink on her head." he said and they nodded with a gentle peep. "At least we're our father's children instead of nephews and adopted niece, while we look like a real version to the trio now, but brother."

"Are these sized to us as we grow, because as dad said at 10 weeks we start changing color." Huey asked with a beep. "Yeah the neck collar on your scarf, your cape, is the same as your father's blue shirt, but with you living this close to your counterpart's nest. It's a case now of them knowing your entire flock went color coded, your mother has a pink shirt and bow. So you guys are real versions to your moving picture animated counterparts." he said and he peeped.

And as they ended the meeting between them gently. "The duck family that designated themselves our team mascot dropped in here right here. And that's the duckling leader, his version of Adam and my father just dropped in." Charlie said and they started laughing. "And you're going to love this, but Donald was asking for his costume, to look like him." Adam said, nodding to her Donald duck doll and they started laughing at that as she smiled at that gently.

"So a real Donald Duck and the quartet now, hmm, well that's cute right now." Crystal said with a smile and she nodded in agreement. "Yeah guys, we got a 12 week old one standing outside the door here, feathers growing in right now, he looks like Donald as a baby." Adam said as they heard a peep that sound like a quack. "Yeah if I was my animated counterpart, though cute, I got a temper on me that matches my adult double." Charlie said and they all started laughing.

"You're adorable, man." Charlie said and he gave a peep. "I know brother, but though cute, remember on our own it's one on one, but everyone together. It's going to scare the bad ducklings out of their feathers, though we look cute and like we wouldn't hurt them. But bad ducklings attack you for only challenging them to a circle match, the prize green paper. Adult ducks are going to chase them into room with noisy stick." he translated and Orion nodded.

"Indeed, touch my ducklings, better start running, I'm suing the Hawks's parents for every dime they have currently." he said sternly to that. "And that's the catch of what Gordon really meant, though our chosen mascot is all cute and cuddly, that works in our favor right now. We use that to our advantage in the games now, why are other animals afraid of Ducks. Well the reason is because they're pack animals, they know, you mess with one duck, they got to deal now here."

"With the entire flock, but future father duck is really the father of the captain of the team." Orion said and Adam smiled in anticipation then. "Dead duck walking here right now, they thought you're bad now, mess with your ducklings they're being roasted." Adam said and Orion nodded gently. "Yeah and you and the 10 hear this from me day in and day out, you're used to this, to alert you that I arrived..." he said and pulled out a duck whistle and blew it then gently
