Chapter 19: Recorded Truths And Stern Decisions II
"So a 10 year old son and 5 year old daughter." she said and he nodded to her gently. "Just why would the duo be nervous based on what our brothers said?" Tim Riley asked and he crossed his arms. "Because that championship means your brother's tuitions for that year, the JV squad." he said and the 22 all straightened in shock. "Your brothers got some severe competition here to make JV squad right now, the Ducks captain now."
"He's my 10 year old son in truth here, my son and his team win the game, and championship for the following 3 years, they become my next team. But I watched them grow up, they knew me all their lives, but this attitude of your's. Said is wearing my patience down right now, they been in training for a few days. But we'll see who gets that position, but trying to help them train for the championships, that's cheating right now."
"I'm their new assistant coach gentlemen, but being a real coach, your attitude over not wanting to switch off what Reilly taught you is the reason. But train the Ducks this young, they stand a far better chance with your brothers, then facing off against you. After you're refusing to conform to what I teach you here, as even the colors. Are a dead give away, as my son and his friends told me the truth, you're all Hawks, teenage Hawks."
"You're Hawks, I'm a Duck, so start with me, you're asking to be boxed for trying to press my patience, so watch it. We, my cub team and I, but we win and your brothers lose 1 year off 5, your brothers win, they keep it. But either way, you all just said it loud and clear, over Jared's sister now." He said sternly and they paled. "You bet Reilly our brother's tuitions, you can't do that!" Cole shouted in shock at that remark shaking then.
"So you're saying my sister is not worth losing 1 year off 5?" Jared asked and they paled as Buckley and the quartet crossed their arms. "That's not what we said, Jared!" Riley said and he nodded. "Charlie got your brothers to admit it, everything their filling up the said offers heads with. They don't believe what they're saying and you just said that directly to them." he said, pointing at Buckley and their teachers and they paled then.
"If they never wanted that confrontation to happen they should have waited till after school right now in all. But the fact they didn't just revealed to me, to fire department and the paramedics, that you brats in truth here now. You are heartless, cold blooded little monsters, Ted's son made clear it would be his life. And in exchange for whoever's if that ever happens, but that just changed our thoughts on their team and the district."
"You're not believing the garbage you're filling our heads up with right now, but like Charlie said, actions speak louder then words here right now. So that ever happens and he acts without thinking to save whoever it is, that drove it home now." The police chief said and the 14 year olds all swallowed hard at that. "You ever heard the remark of pay it forward, help someone and it starts a chain reaction in kind gestures now in truth."
"But Conway made it clear, but we see the heart of a natural leader in him and he's the heart and soul of the team now. That just what makes you think we're not going to do whatever it takes to get justice for his family. And his friends and their families, if you brats do the same thing the brats that Gordon's double dealt with here." he said and they went white, realizing they never stood a chance against the chief's logic at that.
"Charlie has done so much for me and my brother already, that to us, we see you idiots as a grew of pompous little jerks, we know who our true friends are. And those friends are Ducks, and frankly, it's I'd rather stay with Coach Orion forever. Just so I can head off what hanging around you idiots does to me, Scooter is thinking the same, but you idiots. Wait till the championships, you'll wish like hell you guys conformed." he said and the 24 all paled at that.
"You and Scooter been watching the game practices, but never said anything in the last 2 days since I started training your brother?" Orion asked and he nodded. "Yeah and we never said anything, but now that these idiot revealed their true colors. We went Duck as well, these idiots are not our friends, McGill and Larson, not my brother's friends. If this means, now we prove they are a bunch of lying backstabbers, then so be it." he said and the rest of their team paled.
"Riley, Cole, Brown, McGill, Larson, Charlie became my brother's best friend right now on their team, he said it directly their homes in exchange for my sister's life, it's worth the overtime. And they would do it again in heartbeat now in truth, but that says friend and sibling. In everyway you can say it, Scooter said that to me in the same way, Charlie is a 10 year old Scooter. I never been happier he and the others are willing to help." Jared said and Orion nodded then sternly.
"Their tuitions for the life of a little girl?" he asked sternly and they paled. "That little girl, a baby with her whole life to live, those tuitions pay off the rest of it." he said sternly and they exchanged panicked looks. "So like your brothers, you don't see baby as worth sacrificing a year off 5?" he asked and Scooter and Jared moved behind him then. "Like him, show me you have a heart, give up a year in exchange for dozens now here."
"In the life of a baby with her whole life to live right now, one year, that's all we're asking, one year." he said and the 22 swallowed hard at that remark. "But this is no longer the peewees, you can't help them, it's outside of the school system." he said and they swallowed, knowing they did and their brothers would be disqualified. And from the championships as he started watching them practice then as he got to work then.
And waited for the real practice as he got ready to train his son and the 10 then...
The Office And Truths-Nobody's POV:
After the last class for the day the team grabbed their gear and headed for the front office then as they waited then. "So that's it, you're leaving us behind?" they heard and Charlie crossed his arms. "Wearing a ducks jersey doesn't make you a real duck, you got to earn it, and you definitely didn't right now, Cake Eater." Jesse said coldly to him and Peter paled, realizing they just threw them off the team permanently at that remark.
"Frankly we had all we can take of you guys, but right after I made it clear to him, he finally broke, he's been holding in his pain at his sister's condition for 5 months. So just imagine if Karen too was sick and I change in personality right now, you idiot. As this is the only way I can cope at my sister's condition, but to us in truth. You're not a Duck, you're a Hawk in a Duck jersey." Charlie said and they felt their hearts shatter at that.
"Sadistic little creep like you right now in truth, all because you hate Uncle Ted, and are convinced he's a Hawk plant on the Ducks, guess again right now. Because as far as we're concerned, you're not part of this team, not anymore right now. Not after what you just said to him, Adam needs us, he deserves our support right now. And all you can think about, is winning, so you're not that different from the Hawks in truth now."
"And Adam earned that jersey more then you have Peter, you're both a real jerk, I don't know why we never threw you off the team last year. Well we are now, but this is your last season, we got 11, we got plenty, before we had sum number later." Connie said sternly to at that remark. "But 6 on the ice, 5 on stand by, as we trade players, but this is your last season starting now." Charlie said sternly and they swallowed hard at that.
As Gordon came to get them. "Coach the entire team decided on this, we're throwing the duo off the team for life, they just crossed a line. And one that can not be taken back now, but if the principal called dad now, it's a long story. But the short of it, despite your warning of leaving your relationship with mom alone. They still dragged it up and crossed a line here, that nearly put us all in detention." Charlie said and he nodded then sternly.
"Well I saw the duo in the office, guys, just what was that about?" he asked and Adam shook his head. "Remember how you said that your personal life is none of their business?" he asked and he nodded gently then. "Well these idiots made that implication and he slammed Karp into the wall, vouching for him. She let him off with a warning and the duo, I don't really know at the current moment." he said and Gordon nodded sternly.
"Come on." he said and the 11 nodded as they grabbed their gear then as they headed for the office then gently. "Hey Mrs. Roper, I'm Gordon Bombay, their coach and Charlie's godfather." he said to her and she nodded smiling gently to him. "Nice to meet you Gordon, I take it the team just told you what they decided right now?" she asked and he nodded as he crossed his arms as he answered her gently at that remark.
"They did, but the next question is just what was said, if Ted is on his way here with his practice with the JV team ending soon. So what was said implication, paraphrase, Mrs. Roper?" he asked her and she crossed her arms. "What some little schmuck would say to Crusher before the riot in the lounge, Gordon. They're convinced it's on a case of quid pro quo in the sexual sense where Charlie got his position." she said and he nodded sternly.
"Charlie was defending me or his parents?" he asked and she nodded. "In fact it was all 3 of you, after I saw the push into the wall, Adam told us what caused this. And I let it go, with Ted at the academy, we called him and explained this to him now. And he let it go with Charlie, just defending your honor, we can let that go right now. But these guys, it's beyond crude, that none of us can even touch it." their science teacher said sternly then.
"Paraphrasing this is the same crude remark that Crusher's rival made, Crusher over hears it, tells them the truth and then they made an implication. And Crusher alerts the entire team that he needs back up after a fight breaks out in the hall. And not realizing we were watching this entire conversation David now. He made the very same implication and Charlie shoved him into the lockers." she said and he nodded sternly to that news.
"You called Ted I take it right now?" he asked and she nodded. "Issues in being second in command of the team, your counterpart is a high school coach and teacher. I think he told the academy faculty in truth, my sister, her name is Gwen. Married named of Madigan, she's a couple years older then me, is the 8th grade to 9th grade. Science teacher, so this is about to end up all over the faculty." she said and he nodded sternly.
"Great that's all I need right now, dad tells your sister and the dean, and like you, they let it go, but this was outside the school system, next time in it. And what happens if this fight breaks out in her class or whoever's?" Charlie said and she nodded. "I know and the dean is not going to take it well, if you do a paraphrase for him in this. But this would be a need to clean his mouth out with a wire brush." Wes Silverman said to him gently then.
"Charlie?" Gordon asked and Charlie nodded to confirm that and he nodded sternly. "Well issues in being my second in command of the team." he said and she nodded as she said it. "As he gave direct orders, they're getting detention and for the rest of the season, and 25 laps around the school rink everyday for a month." she said and he nodded sternly. "Fair enough, do as he suggests." he said and the gym teacher nodded sternly then.
"Son, I get that you're defending our honor, but no need to get violent, they're getting punished enough already. As first they're being deactivated and now they're getting in trouble, what with your father a high school age hockey coach now." he said and Charlie nodded gently to him. "Talk about a role reversal, with deactivating them, we get off, but they get stuck here till 5 tonight." Connie said sternly and he nodded as he said it then.
As Jesse and Guy looked at him smiling sternly. "Well it gets better, but Charlie started something after these guys tried to start a fight with Adam this soon. After he joined the rest of the team, you're going to want to hear this." a teacher said as he brought in a TV/VCR unit and then put the tape in as he watched the fight. And before Charlie put his hand on Adam's chest and said it sternly at he looked between the duo then firmly.
"Jesse, don't buddy, allow me right now." Adam said gently to him and he nodded as he and the 8 surrounded the girls as he looked at the duo sternly. "You're really showing your face with these losers?" McGill asked in disgust and he crossed his arms. "Is this reaction because we actually offered some of the money we had. Said meant to pay for our apartments and our parents need to work over time."
"To fix that right now here, McGill, or is this because we just said friend, brother and team mate in everyway it can be said, by risking being evicted from our parents to help a team mate?" Jesse said sternly and Adam nodded sternly in agreement to his thoughts at that remark. "You're doing funding through every major business in town, but I noticed you never thought to include you."
"By your parents offering some money to them right now in truth, but we all did right now, we all offered a few hundred, my father the most now. By this week's paycheck at the academy, followed by passing them half the candy sells. Right down the middle, but our parents are working double shifts and over time. To make ends meet right now, but the fact we actually offered some of our own."
"In funds says brother and friend, in more ways then you even know boys." Charlie said sternly and they felt their hearts shatter at that. "You really want to do this now gentlemen, or did you forget our conversation?" Charlie asked as he held up the envelope and they both paled, realizing he was about to nail them to the wall vocally then. "Took us only a week and now we're dressed in the same style jackets and sweats you are."
"Only in our colors right now. But what took you 3 to 4 months to do, took us only a week, total, it comes to $165,250." he said and they paled. "You're doing funding through every major business in town, but I noticed you never thought to include you. By your parents offering some money to them right now in truth, but we all did right now."
"We all offered a few hundred, my father the most now by this week's paycheck at the academy, followed by passing them half the candy sells right down the middle. But our parents are working double shifts and over time to make ends meet right now. But the fact we actually offered some of our own funds says brother and friend. In more ways then you even know boys." Charlie said and they felt their hearts shatter at that.
"So jealous we chose ways that you never considered and in turn this added even more fuel the fire to help out, you were finished from the second now. We actually offered a hand in friendship and this in turns helps him." Averman said and Adam said it. "You're one to talk Jason, at least I gave up my bad habits, not helped by the fact here. That we got guys like you losers picking on us." he said and they looked at him in shock.
"Remember that wager I gave you, we win, you lose the 8th grade tuition and come here in the 8th grade, you win you keep it. But again, are you willing to lose a year's worth in tuitions at the academy, to help a fellow team mate." he said and the trio looked at the duo. "What are you talking about, Conway?" Andy Cole asked and the duo paled and Adam smiled and Charlie nodded as he answered with a stern smile as he said it.
"Oh you mean Reilly and the duo never told you this last night right, the wager was we win and you give your 8th grade tuition to the Banks's for Winny's medical bills. You win, you keep it and we both start at the academy at the same time." he said and the trio looked at the duo. "You got to be kidding me, how could you get the money that fast to help out, if Adam's joined you?!" Derek Brown asked in shock then and he nodded firmly.
"Aside from the candy sells at the academy itself, we all combined together, in our parents and the total came to a first year tuition. In a single student, but all of you totals out to the amount that you tried to raise. That's what we're playing for, fair and square bet, but this gives everyone a real reason to hate you guys. And when the truth comes out right now, said truth is based on without your own money from being added now."
"So this is what had you guys on a starter portion here now, before the duo picked a fight to throw him off the team." Gordon said sternly and Charlie nodded. "Yeah it is, I'm doing what needs to be done for Adam." he said and Gordon nodded then as he answered with a stern smile as he said it. "Dad tell you what he had in mind here, Coach?" he asked and Gordon nodded as he crossed his arms.
"Yes and that type of wager is enough to make these idiots beyond desperate, but in truth. I got to remind them that this was legal and my threat to them of I take this to court means a no win situation. If they try to revoke your scholarships in payback of us beating them fair and square now in truth here."
"Is they are sore losers and we all know this, but when you gamble at times eventually you're going to lose and they just gambled their first year tuitions here. Now on this match, we beat them fair and square and they're in shock and beyond humiliated. That we beat them when you were once were the worst team in the league here. And your father and me turned you into the best team now." he said gently at the remark then and the team smiled gently.
"Never see that coming gentlemen that after we rise to the occasion, we over shot your amount beyond quickly here. And like I warned Reilly, we're preparing accordlingly for that next game between us right now here in truth here. Try to take the bait you blew your mental edge against us and now we know we own you." Gordon said sternly to them and they swallowed hard, as they listened to his remark as the duo started shakin in fear then at the news.
"And to the donations, but the proviso is attack Adam and that viciously and you lose anyway gentlemen. That game has 2 ways to lose your money, but only one to keep it, playing fairly and no cheating, you cheat, you lose." he said and they all looked at them in shock. "Tell me you never took that wager, that's our first year tuition at the academy here, Jason, Chris." Jackson Thomas Riley said in shock at that news then shaking in shock.
And they looked at them then and in fear and they nodded then in anger. "Never expected Reilly to actually wager his entire future, your first year, at the academy?" Jenkins asked sternly then to that. "So without even telling us or our parents what you agreed to, you are staking our very lives, our first year at the academy. And on this championship right now?!" Riley said in shocked anger at that news then.
"Well how about this, are you willing to give up a week's allowance and wait for the next. To say you are his friends, his real friends?" Charlie said, holding up the envelope and they went pale. "Yeah this was a test of friendship right now." Charlie said sternly then and he nodded then. "You know what the total came to, when we all passed him what we had on us?" Connie asked sternly and they shook their heads
And as they felt their hearts start sinking. "All of us together is $250.00 and that's just us, but in only 1 week to 10 days. The amount we raised is $181,000 exactly, plus another $250.00 now!" he said, raising his voice then and every adult nodded in shock they did it that fast as he went further then sternly. "We never expected to hear that they raised it that fast in only a week." She said gently and Gordon nodded.
"This should be good right now, alright what did you guys say to make everyone think to thrown in, with us right now here." Jenkins said sternly as he looked at the quintet. "But tell me, instead of just the idea you came to, would you sacrifice a year at the academy for that little girl you got everyone galvanized on. Sacrifice a year off your time at the academy right noe for her and you get in the following year.
"And soon, instead of the peewees they got something else to look forward to: the yearly showdown. Between us instead of the JV/Varsity, its Ducks and Hawks, the Ducks/Hawks showdown now. Twice a year a school, every year for 4 years now, but just 1 year exchanged for the life of that girl and proving you're really his friends right now?" he asked and they froze up in shock then.
"Well that's 'Oh my god this was never about just Winny, but proving we are the friends we think we are, and...'." Gordon said, saying Riley's thoughts and as he saw the hate in Adam's eyes at them and knew what he thought as he realized what Charlie meant. "That test of this envelope was a chance to prove there really is a thing resembling a soul in that body of your's, if you're not willing to sacrifice."
"A single year there, at the academy, for a family in need right now, that little girl now in truth. Well then you don't deserve to live, you're losers, you don't deserve to live!" he said, his tone at shouting level and every adult nodded in shock at the reveal then as the quintet started shaking at that in shock. "So do it now, with everyone watching, are you willing to give up your tuitions for that year."
"Your allowance for a week, to help his family and are you willing to sacrifice a single year. For the many of the girl you got everyone's eyes focused on right now?!" he said, his voice shouting level and the faculty crossed their arms. "This test shocked us to our core." the coach said and he nodded sternly as Charlie held the envelope up, as he waited for them to show it to them and they looked at him in shock.
"Your double, Coach, was the very point, the movie was a test after that same tactic was used on Larson and and McGill last night, this was to prove it. They don't believe everything they filled everyone's heads with." Charlie said and Orion nodded sternly then. "You ever consider the lesson in the first book of Hinton's novels, it doesn't matter what you look like, there are always consequences for every action.
"Well this is a case of showing the good in everyone, showing you're willing to lose a year off your life. In exchange for the many of a single child, are you willing to sacrifice a year. For her right now, just 1 year and you start high school?" He asked and they swallowed hard at that. "If your brothers have money for cruel practical jokes, well then just where is the money to save a little girl."
"A baby, one who has her whole to live, but is having it stripped away because of a terminal illness, and you Socs are not doing some good in this world. You're going to others for that money, wasting time, time that is so precious that now. That baby doesn't have, why not fork up the amount yourselves, all of you together now." he said as he crossed his arms sternly at that remark then firmly.
"All of you together, the 25 of you, equals the same amount as the cost for that treatment!" he said and they all paled at that remark. "It's just a single year off that 5 years at the academy, is she worth losing a single year right now Riley, Cole, Brown?" he asked and they all went white, realizing they just did something that could be seen as beyond cold hearted in the eyes of the Duck supporters at that shaking.
Looking at them sternly at that scenario as he went on. "Just one year, one year in exchange for dozens in the life of a little girl. That's all I'm asking, show me you're who you claim to be, you call us losers right now. And when we hear about something like this, we rise to the occasion immediately. In showing we care right now, a hand in friendship, being the adopted siblings, the friends."
"He needs us to be, we face losing our apartments for him and having to move, for them, in truth now. Now are you willing to face losing a year for the life of the little girl you got everyone focused on here, just one year in exchange for many. When in the life of a little girl, that girl, the surrogate baby sister in our eyes, we immediately get to work, my sister gave them and me."
"Another reason to change, but what if it was my sister, in her place. You think the team wouldn't immediately pitch to help?" he asked and they swallowed hard. "We..." Riley started to say and his eyes narrowed in fury. "So like them, you are saying the same thing, she is not worth loss of a single year off your 5 years." he said and with his eyes loaded with disgust, he said it as Jenkins nodded in disgust."
"The word preppie means Soc, Soc means you are a rich brat, flaunting your money around like it's royalty, so your parents are the board at the academy?" he asked and saw his uncle give a nod to him and he hid a nod. "They are." Riley said shaking and he nodded sternly then. "Well my father is connected right to cops, my mother's twin brother, your position as a cub of a board member.
"That will cut no dice, as once we beat your brothers, the school belongs to us now. But you idiots never pay attention to certain facts, you see though a member of the school board. It doesn't mean anything, but you guys can pay your way out of trouble for a felony or whatever. For my side we got to risk a fatal injury to get out of trouble, but I just said it now, that girl."
"I spend all my time and energy on, her brother. They are are my brother and sister and Adam and I are best friends, but I am the narrator, he is Cade, if it was me. Instead of him, that risked a fatal injury right now, he and the team would be broken hearted. Now here, but you know what, she or whoever I saved are worth the uncertain future, that little girl is worth a year in jail.
"Ending up in the hospital, or worse, I would risk my life to save her or my sister, an injury putting me in the hospital. Their lives are worth more then mine, they have more to live for, they're worth it, all of it now." he said and then said it. "You ever get a good look at my coach guys, you know his double did the storyline that said books came off right now, but this is what I'm talking about."
"To get the look of a J.D. right now, as the reason they were called greasers is because they styled their looks on Elvis Presley, who was a Greaser." he said and the quintet all paled, not realizing that was the reason for the derogatory nickname. "I take it you never knew that did you, Elvis Presley was killed in the war. But his memory lives on right now, in truth, but my double and his counterparts now in truth here."
"They did their hair like his was, they like him because he was once like them, as to that Charlie read that book and then saw it right now." Gordon said sternly and they swallowed hard at that then and news then. "But getting in trouble repeatedly was their only chance to keep their gang together. As they don't, they get drafted, which was a death sentence for the war." he said and they swallowed hard then.
"Yeah let him have it." Jenkins said sternly and Gordon nodded sternly then to that. "My godfather's double is the man that played the second oldest of the gang. But lost one of the youngest of the gang, but he still had the other. And they're all scared out of their minds he's never going to come out of his depression now. But in paraphrase of what my father said is what Patrick told Chris."
"And before they went to getting everything on the table and he found the message in the book from Ralph's character now, but listen to me. Matt Dillon and Emilio Estevez did the books comes to life and they did 2 of them together. But to them the loss of their friend, the boy played by Ralph Macchio and he gave his life to save kids no older then my sister now, in truth here now."
"But if this never penetrated, before right now, it's back in those days they judge you by your appearance right now in all truth here. But your kind is always attacking my kind till the night you take things too darn here right now. You ever consider why I understand Adam so perfectly here right now, well it's because my sister was nearly killed last year, and is in a wheelchair now."
"But she's my world, my entire world, all of the therapy, all of the time and money spent on her. She's worth it, in my eyes and the eyes of the 10 now, but learning Adam has a younger sister now. We see this the same way, the girls are our entire world, and when we start life now here. As borderline high school students now, the said soulmate is our everything, the girls now."
"Our world and together they make up our entire lives now in truth here, but you ever consider. Now that the reason Jared, that Adam, is so quiet is because of the pain he is in. If she was your sister, wouldn't you do whatever it takes for her right now, in truth. You'll never know how precious your baby sister, or brother, is now, till you lose them now, you don't understand his feelings."
"But I do, I understand him perfectly, because like him, my own sister is beyond precious to me, I would do anything to help her. Even if it means turning on my own friends to pay for the medical bills now, she's worth it now. In time the team would come to underatand, but it would take time to be like we used to. In truth right now, but a stunt like going into that church when on fire now."
"That, now, that's the effect, your kind attacked our kind and in self defense one of you is killed and two of mine die. One from the loss of his only brother and the other doing it by being a hero. And only by luck that my counterpart is released from the charges your idiot counterparts. Now caused, but your choices destroy my counterparts life, but he's beyond lucky, now here."
"Gets off, but his best friend dies out of risking his life to save children right now here. But his brothers and what's left of his gang, one of who is played by my coach's double, see him stuck in a vacuum. And out of grief right now, but do you feel remorse that your actions, slaughtered three lives in a week. And put 25 others at risk, were it not for your kind, Sheldon would still be alive."
"Cade would not be in the hospital dying and those kids would never have been exposed to a fire in a dried out church right now in truth. But if he never been injured, he wouldn't be facing the manslaughter charge, and the narrator separated from his own gang. All of this was because of your kind, and only months after, but his parents were dead and now he loses two friends.
"And all because of the stereotypes and gang wars, if you just let it go the trio would still be alive. But your actions cost three lives in a week, do you feel anything, but arrogance right now. To be seen as anything but what you see us as, we got to risk a suicidal move here right now, but when it really counts. We show we can do a good thing, but when you got a chance to be a hero."
"You hide behind your money and cold, insensitive attitudes, but it's clear now to us, trying to be good, but you're not, because that's the only way. We can get recognition of being anything, but what you call us: Greasers, juvenile delinquents. We got to risk ending up in dangerous situations to show we can be assets to society now here?" he asked, crossing his arms as he looked at them.
"This year becomes a movie and Estevez is chosen to play my coach, I just made the declaration necessary. Now to say what you're really thinking here by not sacrificing one year in exchange for her life. You think finding my father this soon would never have an effect on me, or my sister right now. Well it did, but I'm a mixture of his, that's whoever's playing my father and just so you know
"Right now, that won't be revealed till chapter 3 right now in truth here, so though dad's in the background of this storyline till chapter 3, when he becomes head coach,nd to our team, but this, in case you idiots are ticked enough to try and commit murder. And immediately following that is try to revoke our scholarships right now in truth. And that's when the man playing my father."
"Gets revealed here now, but just so you know this desperate act of banking your life savings on that game. And try to destroy the outdoor ice rink at the lake, that's enough to prove it now here. That your claims on her are not worth the garbage you're filling everyone's heads with if you're that desperate. To hang onto your tuition money for that first year right now, but my father."
"And the man playing my father in this series and Estevez's character, you never looked at that close enough. But my coach is a mixture of my adult double and his own, while my father in personality is Patrick." he said and Gordon crossed his arms then. "Yeah I don't blame you for that reaction right now, hearing him talk like this, I never expected him to actually open views." the chief said, crossing his arms then.
"But borderline Greaser or Greaser in general had nothing to do with it right now. It's the individual and we all decided she's worth it, she's worth everything, the injuries, hospital stay. And so on, but that's the only way we can get recognition here right now in truth. But you're preteen Socs, and getting constant editorials in the newspaper here right now, in truth."
"For being an asset one day and a disgrace the next." he said and the faculty and the 911 departments nodded slowly. "You kids never see this from our angle that we are getting so darn sick of the constant fights. That are going on between your teams here right now, but we are so sick of this right now in truth here now. That we are ready to take charge like this right now in all truth here." The chief said sternly to this then.
"But what if that book was a true story and the 7, our kind, are portraying the people that book is really focused on, what then?" he asked and the quintet swallowed hard and the adults nodded. "Rick you okay right now, if Charlie got it bang on?" Gordon said and his counterpart nodded. "Yeah, but it was that had the paramedics and fire department up here right now, along with the cops that we heard this now."
"That Charlie's revealing their direct opinion of saving the little girl that they got us focused on. That we all realized they never believed anything of the catch they were trying to fill our heads up with. Before Charlie revealed the amount they collected in only a month now since they got the truth on Adam's family right now." he said and Gordon nodded sternly at that remark. "Game, set and match." Jenkins said sternly to this news.
"You see that's when you got to wonder in why you'd even be talking to me, if I was the narrator here. But Randy said he wouldn't have done that, but he'd possibly have left them to die, but beyond confused by ill conceived notions as we shook up your beliefs on us. By doing what we did right now and you're grieving for the loss of a friend, but my friend is dying, your's is dead."
"But the pain and anger in me." he said sternly and they swallowed hard at that remark and Gordon nodded sternly at that remark. "Just so you know that you even try anything you're digging a very, very deep hole right now. In my eyes, as a whiplash or whatever is nothing next to attempted murder, so don't even think about it." he said and the trio paled, realizing they were never going to get out of this at that remark then.
"It's all because of you, if you just left it alone, your friend wouldn't be dead, mine in the hospital dying and my facing now. Being taken away from my family, but just when is it going to stop. Till the adults have to take charge and end it themselves now, you can't beat us. You know that right, it doesn't matter even if you whip us, you'll still be right back at where you before."
"At the bottom, your words leave you condemned to saying you're creatures without heart and we'll still be the lucky ones here. With all the breaks now, shot after shot after shot and it all starts here now, this moment in time." he said and the chief crossed his arms as that did it for him finally. "Hearing that I was in shock here." his school counterpart said then gently and Gordon nodded gently then.
'Whoa, that's one hell of a standpoint here, he's right on all counts right now.' The fire chief said again sternly then and they swallowed hard at that remark, shaking then. "But what does this say about you, we are risking eviction from our apartments to help their families, but you guys have money to go to a prep school. And yet, by with-holding that money and not sacrificing a year at the academy."
"You're saying she's not worth it now, her family is not worth giving up a year. Well to us, she and my sister are, they're worth it, one of us ends up getting an injury. Just to save those little kids from a burning building now, they're worth the injuries. The life in that wheelchair, or worse, I'm going to miss my friends and my family, but they're worth it, those kids are worth all of it."
"Those kids lives are worth more then mine right now, they got more to live for, but they're worth it here, they're worth it. But did you ever consider what my loss does to the families of my team, I risked a fatal injury now. And to my family, my friends and their families, Adam, he and me are the best of friends. But to my team and their parents, my family, the coach, my future girlfriend."
"Now in truth, but in truth here do you think, my friends or my family are ever going to stop hating you for the fact your actions landed me in that wheelchair, that hospital bed. Or worse, my injuries killed me in doing the right thing?" he said and the principal nodded sternly as one of the girls his age wiped the tears off her face at that remark. "Yeah, dead man walking." Jenkins said sternly to that remark.
"That was our direct opinion, his words got to everyone in their year right now." the coach said and they both nodded sternly as they listened to remark sternly. "You ever heard of the remark, pay it forward, we help them and give others hope now right now. But that choice changes things in this town and soon it galvanizes the entire state, that a low income boy just caused such a reaction."
"A reaction that shows the level of heart and virtue right now in what my side really is right now. My actions cause a reaction in our side of that network now, that it's galvanized the entire state now. We risked our homes to save a child, we risked our lives doing a good deed and it barely misses me. I risked my life to save a child, but this is what Macchio meant, their lives are worth more."
"More then mine, they have more to live for. But you think my sister would not hate you for the rest of her life, the girls here, my friends. They would never stop, till they make sure you end up in jail, your actions killed me by my saving her life. The lives of a group of 20 kids, no older then my baby sister." he said and Connie wrapped her arms at that as she stood next to him then gently at thst
Around his upper arm, and the faculty nodded sternly to that reaction. "That little girl, my sister, those kids, are worth it, the pain, and everything else. Their lives are worth more then mine is, they have more to live for, in time she'd accept this now. But she would never stop hating you for the fact you took me away from her now. By your actions right now, the lives of children, children, babies,
"Who have their whole lives to live now, but this is what I am, the narrator, Cade, that's me in my entirety now, but to the team, it's one thing, one thing in all, to them..." he said and the coach nodded, now seeing the look of a natural leader. "And that was the real killer, after we spent years together, the pain of losing him in our eyes here was too much after one too many scares and then a fatal injury right now."
"And because of these idiots, in time we would come to understand his choice, but the pain and anger at what they caused will never stop." Averman said and he nodded. 'Heart and soul of the team, yeah I see it, anything happens to him, and they'll never survive the loss of that pain. The pain is never going to stop here if he dies in the middle of a rescue mission.' Gordon thought then as he saw their math teacher nodded then.
Even as she wiped the tears off her face then. "But I would do it in a heartbeat, but would you, would you risk your lives to save a child from a burning building. Risk death by drowning or whatever?" he asked and they paled at that, realizing their trying to raise money would never be seen as charity. But that they were not risking their own necks in either way to save a child and the Ducks were everything now."
That the adults wanted to see. "Yeah just his reveal, revealing the Ducks were willing to risk their homes for lives of children. Said it all, we knew your team was going to change." the fire chief said to him. "Just one year given up, for the life of a little girl, you can save up for 4 years and make it up in high school, but one year in exchange for the life of a child?" he asked and they swallowed hard at that remark.
"So that's it huh, her life is not worth losing your first year tuition, I'd like to know how everyone in town, the businesses. Are going to take it, when they hear the truth here." he said and the principal nodded in disgusted shock. "Charlie!" they heard and turned to see a little kindergartner wheeling up to him and he picked her up then as she wrapped both arms around him then and they nodded sternly then.
"That's your sister?!" Riley said shaking and he nodded sternly. "My name is Charles Theodore Michael Orion/Conway, as in Coach Ted Orion?" he said and they all went white in shock, realizing his sister was the daughter of their older brother's coach then in fear at that news. "You know she's paralyzed from the waist down, but what happens if the ice at the lake cracks, with her on it, you think I won't.
"That I won't risk killing myself to save her?!" he asked and they swallowed hard at that. "A near drowning, hypothermia, a hospital stay for her, it's the easiest decision I could ever make right now. She's my very life, you'll never know how precious your baby siblings are, til you lose them." he said and they swallowed hard. "Easiest choice I could make here." Charlie said and Gordon nodded gently to him.
"But your not giving up your single year, what's that saying to every adult in this town right now, huh what?" he asked as every kid their age immediately charged forward and added their pocket money for an after school trip to the candy store to the envelope. "Yeah his speech stirred everyone their age and in 3rd and 4th grades so much they immediately threw in with the Ducks." The school hockey coach said to him then.
As Charlie passed her to Fulton and she wrapped both arms around his neck. "So simple choice guys, 1 year in exchange for Winny's life." he said and waited then firmly. "Just one years is all we're asking, I completely agree with him, one year in exchange for dozens in the life of a baby, a little girl is more then an even trade." Jenkins said and Gordon nodded in agreement to his opinion and as he rubbed Charlie's head, smiling.
"That's what the bet is really about, we win, you give up one year and save up for 4 more, you win you keep it, but no matter what you do, the truth it out. You said it loud and clear the life of that child, that little girl is not worth sacrifing a year off your time!" he called out and everyone nodded in stern disgust as every faculty and administration, in school members in the school, crossed their arms.
Firmly at that remark then stern fury. "The truth is out, though trying to raise money for the Banks's. She's not worth sacrificing a year off at the academy, in the eyes of the Hawks." Officer Hank Jacobs said slowly in shocked disgust then. "Yes, you little monsters have no idea how screwed you are right now in this case. So the Ducks are risking eviction from their apartments for her right now."
"But the Hawks will not jeopardize their futures at the academy for her and Adam, yes I call this a very big need that seeing what finding Ted this soon. Results in for Charlie now, how much did you guys raise since you found out this soon right now?!" the chief thought out loud gently as he and Jacobs crossed their arms sternly. "Should have seen this coming." Karen's teacher said and Gordon nodded.
As Charlie looked passed the quintet directly at them, the fire department chief and the principal and he nodded and he nodded with a stern smile on his face at that response. "Didn't realize the 911 departments are standing behind you?" Jenkins said sternly and they swallowed hard."You're a preteen Soc, but this was why we are willing to shed how everyone else sees us and show we can be assets to society."
"But it's the individual, but Howell is me in my entire personality gentlemen, this is why in the years leading into high school. The team looks to me, to lead them in the right direction now, but you ever consider. Or read that portion of the book, Coach's double raised his voice so loudly to alert anyone, now. Now in earshot there is about to be an altercation." he said and Jenkins started laughing.
"Oh wait to go right now, get everyone on the alert, the first punch thrown gets the one that does arrested for assault and battery." Gordon said with a chuckle to that remark. "And we had witnesses listening to this entire exchange, Uncle Gordon." Karen said with a smile and he nodded as Connie wrapped her arm across Karen's shoulders. "Nice, cross and double cross." Jenkins said with a slight smile at the way he played them so easily.
"Guys, we got the teachers listening to the entire conversation, but go ahead, throw the first punch, I dare you." Charlie said as he smirked. "Oh you little brats, yeah I agree with Charlie, if one year off your time in the academy is not worth the life of a little girl. Then you brats don't deserve to live right now, you're losers, you don't deserve to live." the coach said sternly in disgust at this reveal.
As Jesse and Guy looked at him smiling sternly. "Guys, we got the teachers listening to the entire conversation, but go ahead, throw the first punch, I dare you." Charlie said as he smiled. "You boneheads, that's code for 'try and with the faculty standing right here, you're being arrested for starting a fight in the hallway.'." Jenkins said crossing his arms at that with a bemused smile then and Gordon nodded sternly.
"Want to start a fight with us, when we got every adult listening to this conversation at the moment. But hey, we will take you on, anywhere, any time right now, guys, so come on, want to go it now." he said and the principal crossed her arms sternly as he crossed his arms then firmly at that remark then. "But you know we got a rink on school campus, want to try it, before school starts now,
"Hmm do you right now, as you had an unfair advantage, back then, this time though, Adam's one of us, so want to try it now?" he asked with a smile and the coach, said that was running the school hockey team, nodded sternly as he got it. "Nice set them up and they get arrested." Jenkins said smiling then. "We do this fair and square McGill, tomorrow morning, us against you." he said sternly to him then.
"Us against you, and this time your coach is not around and neither is our's, want to try it right now, you started the grudge match by always picking on us. So how about we settle this fair and square before the game between us, before school starts?" Charlie said and the coach and gym teacher nodded slowly as they got it. "Yeah this was beyond good right now." the coach said sternly and Gordon nodded.
"Set the trap, a brawl starts and we walk in there and arrest these guys." he said into her ear and she nodded sternly. "I couldn't have come up with a better idea." Terry said smiling then at that. "Ooh yeah good move baby, you set the trap and we hear the racket and we go in there you break the news and them, as they get detention and you get off right now." their math teacher said sternly at that remark.
"Just wait till Ted hears this right now, if this results in a brawl on the school rink and they blow the mental edge here. And the Ducks now own them, nice touch buddy." their science teacher said and she nodded sternly then firmly. "And to say this out loud right now, but "Direct translation, try it and we take them down now. Gordon's double 9 years ago, The Outsiders, that was a cross and double cross."
"Just give your father and us, as the school faculty, a good reason here.'." She said to herself sternly at that. "In case your mind is not firing on all cylinders you two, turn around." Connie said sternly and they looked over their shoulders to see the entire male side of the faculty standing there and paled in realization. "You set us up?!" Riley said shaking in fear and he nodded to him sternly as he answered him at that remark.
"Not realizing what you just said when you got the cops, the fire department, the paramedics. And the faculty standing right here, you just told them the truth right now, Riley. That little girl is not worth losing one year off your tuition right now, but my declaration. Over the girls and the kids who's lives I save in time, they know I care enough to risk my life, well I'm not the one that is a monster."
"You are!" he said and they swallowed hard at that remark. "You just told every adult, who's kid goes to this school, you don't care enough. Now to sacrifice a year at the academy in exchange for her life. But how do you suppose this is going to go down, when your parents are revealed to be as cruel, insensitive. And mean as the Socs of said book, when you try to revoke our scholarships."
"As you remember, you remember this moment, after the championship game, you remember this moment from now. To when you and Reilly take over for Wilson and your brothers now. And my dad is our coach, but no matter now or till that year when you start schol there. It's no matter how many years go by this moment, now goes down in history and as the moment you said that."
"The life of a little girl, her brother and family now in truth now is not worth sacrificing a year in your tuition at the academy now." he said sternly and they swallowed hard, realizing they were never going to win this then. "So that's it, just because they won't sacrifice a single year in exchange for her life. We play for the money and they're a disgrace now." Gordon said and he nodded sternly to him at the remark.
"But actions speak louder then words right now and my actions if the ice on the lake cracks. With me and whoever in range of me is on it, I will immediately do it." he said and they looked at the disgusted shock in their eyes and swallowed at that. "Dead man walking." Jenkins said sternly to that. "My life in exchange for the girls, or whoever it is, what does that say to them?" he asked and they swallowed then.
"It says you're a true hero and the bravest kid I ever met in my life, willing to risk a suicidal move like this to save the lives of children now." the chief said gently as he crossed his arms. "Bravest kid I ever met, a burning building like the church a near drowning in freezing cold water. These actions say hero and change and in everyway you can say it." he added sternly and the fire chief noded in agreement.
"But your attempt at revenge, you just said murderer in every way you can say it, but before anyone is exposed to that booby trap. One of us catches you from behind and we turn you into the cops, so what now?" he asked and they swallowed hard at that. "Did it ever cross your mind we had you see us on purpose, we know you're ticked we beat you this year or last year in that time."
"So cross and double cross, you get caught by us and turned into the cops, you try to kill us to get back at us. And then comes you guys trying to revoke our scholarships in pay back, just what is that saying to them?" he asked and the cops and fireman crossed their arms sternly then and they went pale. "You're Socs, we're borderline Greasers, but sure we don't have much, but what we do have."
"We offer to others, facing moving from our apartments, is a small price to pay for doing the right thing right now, as is a trip to the hospital. But if there is anything even resembling a heart and soul in that body of your's, show it now. And give up one year in exchange for the many of that little girl." he said and the adults crossed their arms. "Nice touch." Jenkins said sternly at that remark then.
"So that's it huh, Winny is not worth a single year in your life, you guys make me so sick right now, how can you do this, what if she was your sister. Would do you anything you could to save her?" he asked and they swallowed hard at that and they nodded sternly as they looked at them in disgust then sternly, as he looked at Karen. And they saw a look of big brother adoration of his younger sister then gently.
And hid a smile then gently at that. "But if you were smart, you would have been better off. Waiting till school ends for this confrontation and instead it happens right now. And when we got 700 witness's in hearing range of this conversation right now, Riley. And instead of an altercation, it's a challenge and wager, that game decides the fate of your futures now, we win, you give up one year."
"Of your time at the academy, you win, you keep it now, but that's it, but no matter what you do, you said it loud and clear here." he said and they paled then. "Not paying attention to your surroundings right now, not smart Riley, but you have the 911, in departments listening to this entire conversation. Right now, but this was a car accident, on campus after someone skidded out."
"On the black ice outside and these guys are checking on the teacher who was the victim of that accident, to make sure here. That he's okay, funnily enough is that teacher just happens to be my sister's kindergarten teacher." he said and said man crossed his arms at that. "I hope Hank told Ted." he said bemused then. "Mr. Johnson, you okay Sir?" he asked and the man nodded to him at that question.
"Black ice and tires, not a good mix, I just forgot to put chains on my tires this morning son." he said and he nodded as he went to a rhetorical question as everyone was shaking in laughter. "Well that's one way to get levity into the conversation." Gordon said, holding in a smile. "Well once this gets all over the cops, fire department and the paramedics soon it's all over town here." he said and they nodded smiling.
"No kidding, so the truth is out right now, while you created a reaction to get us focused on their family. The truth comes out now so one year is not worth a child's life is it, you brats right now. You make me so sick right now in truth here, so you don't want to give up everything. Everything you ever worked for in exchange for her life right now now, I call that cold blooded and insensitive."
"Right now in truth here." their principal said sternly and they all paled at that remark as the cops crossed their arms sternly then. "Yeah this keeps up in the direction it's heading and it's an altercation waiting to happen." the fire chief said sternly and Gordon nodded in stern agreement to that remark as he crossed his arms as he and Jenkins exchanged looks sternly at that. "The Ducks are facing eviction and after the season comes to an end, working over time."
"But you, you're not sacrifing one year for the many of a little girl, a baby with her whole life to live. Well we see who we should put our support behind, but you little monsters try any stunts after the ducks win that game, we're back." the police chief said sternly and they swallowed hard, realizing they were all screwed at that. "Yeah dead man walking." Jenkins said sternly at that firmly as they heard the coach say it again.
"Kiddo, just give us till the end of the day, we're joining in with you as well." The school basketball coach said gently and he nodded as he looked between them as he answered him. "Yeah you little brats are finished here." Jenkins said sternly to that as they exchanged looks then. "I tested Larson and McGill last night on that, but after they try to find a way. Around it, Winny smacked Larson across the face and we decided on a bet."
"That bet is we win, that money for that first year tuition goes to the Banks and they got save up for 4 years. And get in at high school, while dad is our coach, that's my team now in truth, they win. They keep that amount right now, but no matter what way they look at it now in truth. What they said here is unforgivable right now, they got the entire community galvanized over her." he said and then said it in finality firmly
"But when they could make a difference, they hold back. w waste much needed time, time baby just does not have right now." he said and they nodded sternly in shocked disgust and the entire Hawks team swallowed hard. "So how much have you raised in just one week?" she asked and he checked the envelope at that quickly. "It was here I checked the amount from that morning." Charlie said and he nodded gently to the remark then firmly.
"Everyone in our age group to the 5th grade here at the school, the total comes $2,000, while everyone garnishing support all over town now. And the total came to $300,000 exactly, and 2/3's of that was our district right now, his brother. He and Scooter Holland also chipped in, their living allowances for college, and that came to $45,000!" he called out and the 4th to 5th graders all nodded smiling gently at that news.
"But 300 bags in his number at $15.00 a pop, came to $4,500, plus 700 more both age groups now, that came to $10,500.00. And every business in our district, plus personal donations, the money was coming in the door. Faster then we can count it, but the real victory in our eyes, is the championship game. We win, they lose a year off 5, and that money in truth now, it now goes to the Banks's medical fund for his sister."
"The donations go to the children's hospital, we don't care about the championship, of our first won season. We're doing this for the Banks's and for every family with us like his sister, that's the true victory. To us, it's not worth winning if you can't win big, how big is the kids in addition to Winny. We sacrificed our homes for them, them or our homes, it was no contest, we chose them." Connie said and they nodded shocked.
'Yeah that says friend and brother and sister in everyway it can.' Jenkins thought then, gently. "I wasn't expecting to hear that, his own brother decided to cut his living allowance in half. For his sister's medical funds, that when a family member decides this, you know the impact. That said coach had on their life is revealed, Ted and you created such an impact right now here. Jared decided he's living at home and taking a year off college." the fire chief said and Gordon nodded.
"We don't care about winning the championships, we win that gets the biggest amount of all and means the remark of making a big difference in her counterparts. As we tripled the amount they were runnng this for in only 8 weeks and we got what was left. In only a week." Goldberg said and they nodded. "We changed after finding Karen and Uncle Ted now in all truth that to us, if it was Karen we would give up everything we have.
"To keep from losing the adopted baby siblings now in all truth right now, we do whatever it takes now, if that means risking these injuries, then so be it." Connie said sternly and Gordon nodded in understanding as the team exchanged gentle looks. "That much in only a month, that's a record." Jenkins said smiling then gently. "You did it that fast after only one week, that's amazing guys, nice work right now." their principal said smiling and he nodded then.
"Just how crazy would you have to be to do this when both sides of the school faculty are here and listening to the entire conversation waiting for a fight to break out?" Charlie asked her and she and the teachers surrounding her then nodded with a bemused smile then and he nodded, bemused as their science teacher crossed his arms. "I think you said this a few hundred times that a fight breaks out on campus you're in trouble here."
"But just how crazy would you have to be to do this when you got the entire faculty and administration of said school listening to the entire conversation. And not realizing your target's new captain happens to the son of a high school coach?" he asked and they nodded."Extremely son, but try it and you're getting detention for a month boys, so freeze right now." the gym teacher called out sternly and they went white.
