Madrigal Family: La familia Madrigal!
With a big flash from a camera, the whole family strikes a pose as time goes slowly from the way they were.
However, only Mirabel and Camilo were left behind.
They were told by their Abuela that they need to step out of the picture for a moment because they reminded her of their "uncle".
As the two left their new member's new room, they were about to head to bed when they heard some squeaky sound.
They turned to find rats around the corner and the said animals ran away into a painting.
The two looked at each other in concern before they went to remove the painting revealing it to be a secret door.
Mirabel: This must be where he goes.
Camilo looks around to find that nobody is following them then he and Mirabel went inside closing the door in the process.
Little did they know that someone heard them about what they were doing.
As Mirabel and Camilo follow the rats, they were about to go around the corner when they spotted someone from a distance.
Through the lighting was a missing person in a green ruana almost similar to Camilo's.
The two blinked before they chase after him.
They were soon trapped at the dead-end hole after the man jumped on the broken platform.
Mirabel uses her butterflies, but they are just too light to walk across.
They could only do one thing.
Mirabel and Camilo: ¡Papá! ¡Por favor regrese!
The man stops in his tracks when he heard the word.
As he gives in, he turns around and removes his hood to reveal his face toward his long-lost children.
Bruno: Hola, my mijos.
They soon reached Bruno's room while the two ask him questions and bragged about their hopes of finding him.
As they hang out for a while eating arepas among things, Mirabel asked something complicated.
Mirabel: Papa, how did you and Mama meet?
Bruno paused for a moment until he sighs as he explains the truth.
Bruno: Fifteen years ago, before you were born, I was wandering into the jungle to get away from the locals who were blaming me for the future, like always. That is when I met your mother, Miranda, who is obeyed to wash clothes by her mother. That's when I found out that she's also the black sheep of the family. Unlike me, she is portrayed as the ugliest lady in town. But in my heart, she is the fairest in my world.
Mirabel: Papa, that's so sweet.
Bruno: That is when she got pregnant with you two. She got kicked out by her family after they found out and I decided to take her to an abandoned shelter. That is when fate happened.
Camilo: What happened?
Bruno: Your mother died on the day you were born.
Mirabel and Camilo gasped.
Bruno: It's true, mijos. That is why I sent you to the Madrigals, just so you would experience having a mother, although you would forget me.
Mirabel: We won't forget you, Papa.
Camilo: Sí, we have a condition so that we could remember anything, even from the beginning.
Mirabel: That is why we don't forget you as our papa.
Bruno felt heart-warmed by their words and he starts to cry.
Bruno: Oh, I love you, guys.
The three soon hugged.
That is when Mirabel heard a crack.
She looks around to find a crack in the floor.
Mirabel: Casita?
The cracks soon start to spread for a while until it reaches the wall.
Mirabel: Did you see what I saw?
Camilo: Yup, you're not the only one.
Mirabel: Should we tell Abuela?
Bruno: Telling her isn't a good idea, especially if they believed it to be a joke.
Mirabel: Then, what do we do?

The three turned to see Antonio with his animal friends.
Antonio: The rats told me everything- Don't eat those.
He warns the tiger to stop eating Bruno's rats.
