Strike 15: Mixed Ideals

"Alone, we can do so little; together, we can do so much." - Hellen Keller

"So this is the infamous Team RWBY I heard so much about, Hmph, they don't look like much." Holden Cross says approaching the group, "While their appearances lackluster, they make up for it with pure determination! You wouldn't find any better first year team."

"Ha! Considering they were bold enough to do this despite their grade, we'll see about that. Alright teams listen up!" Slamming his weapon's pommel to the ground caused Jeanne and her team to stiffen up and stand at attention.

Seeing this Team RWBY followed suit considering that this "Holden Cross" was supposed to be a proper Huntsman, with just a Poleaxe about as tall as Ruby Rose, they were willing to hear him out.

"We will be flying towards Mountain Glenn for a simple extermination mission. Since "RWBY" here is considered a bunch of Newbies. Each member will be paired up with another from the corresponding team."

Dr. Oobleck spoke up after Holden Cross, "That's Right! We will divide the teams as such, Jeanne, you'll be paired with Ruby."

The Knight looked to the Red reaper and nodded her head, Ruby awkwardly smiles back at her with a wave.

"Blake, you'll be paired with Abbey."

"Right!" Was said by the Valkyrie of the team, Blake simply nodding her head.

"Acer, you will be paired up with Weiss." Dr. Oobleck said and The Centurion responds with a wail, "Nooo!!" "Hey! What's that supposed to mean?!" The angry Schnee asked taking offense to the cry.

"Moving on!" Holden Cross said, silencing the two. "Kamiko, you will be working with Yang here."

"Ugh, we'll give you all five minutes to get your affairs sorted out or I'll deal with it personally. Do I make myself clear team?!" Holden Cross yells, a chorus of "Understood!" Could be heard from team Cross.

"Good, Oobleck, come with and help with the finishing touches for our trip."

"You know, we would've had already left if you'd allow me to lead this mission. And it's Doctor!"

"'Here's to hoping you can keep up Blondie.'"

"Hohoho, I don't know what you just said but I heard that last part, something you wanna say Shorty?" Yang replied back to the Samurai giving her a playful glare as if challenging her to try something.

"Bur-on-di" she answered back, Yang now becoming more annoyed at this match up. "Hahahaha!" The group would hear Abbey laughing putting her and over Yang's shoulder.

"I can see myself getting along quite well with you, Ms. Yang." Abbey said to a smiling Yang.

"Word of advice Kamiko, don't bring hair into this and you'll be fine, 'weird to see that I'm not the only one that can speak Mistralian'." Blake mentions as she approached the three.

"'Mistralian? It's Japanese where I'm from, thank you very much.'" The Orochi replied back, not moved by Blake's words.

"Blake! You can speak Mistralian?" An excitable new voice says and when looking at the owner it was a Blonde Monkey Faunus named Sun Wukong and his partner, Neptune Vasilias that was next to him.

"Sun! Neptune! What mission are you guys doing?" Yang said getting away from the Samurai, said Orochi silently pouting.

"We're shadowing a crime specialist. All inner-city detective stuff. We get junior badges." A proud Neptune says with smile, Sun with the same expression.

"We normally go to the city with you guys, which means stuff's always exploding and junk, so we thought this might be a better way to check out the kingdom when it's, you know... normal." Sun mentions.

"Explosions?" Abbey asks looking at Ruby, who in turn shrugged with a fake smile. "Normal?" Kamiko asks, really seeking for a day of peace remembering the adventures she had with her own team.

"So, who are your armored friends here? Boy, you guys look like you're ready for war." Sun says looking at the armor of Kamiko.

"We are" Abbey replied.

"Hahaha! So, gonna fight monsters today? That sounds fun!" Sun said with excitement.

"Well then, let's go! Everyone with me!" Dr. Oobleck suddenly yells, making everyone jump and look to the airship.

"Welp, that's our queue, it was nice catching up with you guys!" Yang says, walking away.

"Yeah! You guys too!"

"Good luck!" Neptune yells looking over to Weiss, with said girl looking away with a huff.

As the group get farther and farther away, Neptune can't help but sigh, "Dude, what were you even hoping for?" Sun asks.

"Oh shut up!"

"Still having Lady troubles Neptune?" A cheery feminine voice would say, the two members of SSSN (Sun) would turn and see Pyrrha Nikos, Nora Valkyrie, and Lie Ren approaching.

"Hey guys! You just missed Ruby and them!" Sun would say.

"That's alright, we'll get in touch with them at a later time." Pyrrha said.

"What is your guy's mission anyway?"

"Well, we are going to be shadowing a sheriff of a nearby village."

"If anything that place should hold the answers we are looking for." Ren mentions.

"Oh! Right! This is related to your fourth member isn't it?" Neptune asks. "That's right!~ Ruby said that when Jaune first disappeared he would be last seen there." Nora explained.

"Apparently this wasn't the first time it happened, there was another that took the same path before him just months prior." Pyrrha said. "So we'll be looking into that as well."

"This Jaune guy sounds like something else if you guys seem this invested in him. Who was he anyway?" Sun asked

Pyrrha smiled and started to explain. "Well…Jaune was actually JNPR's Leader, our leader, and he…Had a lot to prove. So much so he cheated his way into Beacon, and he did it all alone."

"He wasn't exactly smart, nor was he skillful, but I think those were the qualities that made him special. He didn't care who or what you were, just how you acted."

"He was a great friend who didn't have the support of so many yet he continued on. His friends avoided him, the insults and jeers he was given, then his family…Honestly…" Pyrrha frowns. "I owe it to him to make things right."

"Me and Nora may not have know him long, but he was still a good friend, a Great Friend in fact." Ren mentioned.

"Yeah! The times he helped Ren-Ren with chores and then him helping me makes him good enough in my books!" Nora said.

"Of course, it needs to be said that he helped her in that he was willing to cook Pancakes for Nora that one time and then a few more times after." Pyrrha jokingly says.

"Hey! He makes a great Pancake!"

"Well I hope you guys find him, it would be nice to meet the guy that caught your heart!" Sun teases. "Huh?!" A flustered Pyrrha yells surprised.

"Ha! So I was right!" Sun and Neptune both laugh together without any malice. "W-wait it's not like that!" The red headed girl said trying to defend herself.

Nora and Ren smile, and Neptune had to ask, "I wonder if he'll be the most normal out of you three."

"I wouldn't count on it, I bet you he'll be just as dorky and as weird as us!" Nora said. "After all! He's our fearless Leader! And he'll make his greatest debut once again!"

CLANG!!

SHING!

CLANG!!

On the other side of the world in the land known as Ashfeld a Iron Legion Warden fights a fellow Iron Legion Warrior, a Lawbringer to be exact, in a castles courtyard. With a Heavy Strike targeting the Warden's Left, the Warden gracefully Parries and smacks the Lawbringer back.

With a Heavy Right The Warden hits his mark and the Lawbringer is brought down to his back, but before he could get back up a sword is stabbed into the ground next to his head barely missing him. Looking up, he could see it was was Warden, who looked as if he was going to stab him in the head. But he didn't.

"As you can see here!" The Warden says yelling into the crowd that surrounded them, all Iron Legion Knights. "Despite my enemy being taller and bigger then me, I was able to bring him down!" Standing back up, with him sheathing his Longsword he reaches his hand out for the Lawbringer.

Grabbing a hold of it, The Lawbringer was helped back up, "You fought well." The Warden quietly said to his sparring partner that lost, The Lawbringer nodded and he went to grab his dropped weapon.

"What many don't seem to remember too quickly is that with Lawbringer's like him, his attacks are slow and predictable. That is if he is inexperienced."

"Atticus, remember to mix up your strikes, feint your attacks when you can and knock some sense into them if they let you." Atticus The Lawbringer nods and he walks back into the crowd.

The Warden continues his lesson, "The same goes for all of you here, fodder and chosen alike, when you think too much, when you panic and worry about every possibility your enemy will notice and will rip you apart limb from limb."

"Breath before every confrontation, stand tall and ready yourself for every fight. Clear your mind with a goal in mind. What works for me is to attack first with a feint then follow into a guard break, that will be your chance to attack."

"If it works, good, now fight him with a definite advantage. If not, then be on your guard and be ready to try again. Be unpredictable and the enemy will never guess what you'll do next."

"Now then, with that said return to your squads and continue with more training, I will not expect anything less. If I do, then consider yourselves already dead to your enemy, and to the country you failed. Do you UNDERSTAND?!?"

"UNDERSTOOD!!" The crowd of Knights yell in unison.

"Good!" The Warden says before dispersing the crowd. Seeing progress being made to his soldiers The Warden starts to head back into his castle that was until he was called for. "Jaune!" A Peacekeeper yells. Turning around Jaune The Lord Warden sees a familiar face, or helmet from an old friend.

"Mercy, I hadn't expected to see you so soon. I had thought you would still be on your way. I assume the mission was a success."

"As it always will be, I have the written report here." Mercy says reaching into her satchel she pulls out a letter held secured by a Wax Seal with The Iron Legions insignia on it.

"Good, I assume you are without injury." Jaune asks. "Of course I am, you worry too much." Mercy replies.

"I have a right to worry about all of my soldiers. Especially when it's you."

"Careful how you speak Lord Warden, less someone will get the wrong idea." Mercy said teasingly. Jaune flinches, "O-of course."

With a cough Jaune regains his composure, "let's talk more in my office." "Of course." As the two continue to walk into the castle and beyond they finally reach the private quarters of The Lord Warden and inside it was a surprise to both.

"Ah! Jaune! Mercy! I hadn't expected to see you both here." Stone the Conqueror, would say. "Stone, I could say the same for you." Jaune says, with Mercy handing the letter to him, "Should you have questions, let me know as soon as possible and I'll return to explain it all more clearly."

"Of course, until then Mercy." "As with you." As Mercy leaves Jaune enters his office and sits down at his desk, Stone following suit across from the other side.

"Now then, I hope you bring good news." Jaune asks. "If it were so I wouldn't even be here, you and I both know that."

"I can be hopeful old friend, so what news do you bring me?" Stone reaches around his back and pulls out a folded up piece of fabric held together by string, Stone undone it and the brown fabric releases.

Reaching into it he pulls out a a tattered and ripped flag, while it was obviously tore up it's middle was clear enough to see that it belonged to The Infamous Blackstone Legion. "Why are you showing me this?" Jaune asks, worried.

"One of my men found this flag while we were leaving Menagerie, he said it was given to him by one of the locals who found it on the beach assuming it belong to us. We assumed that it was washed ashore not long after its disappearance since the sea had barely damaged it, but the flag still looks fairly old, like it was missing for awhile."

"This is…concerning…" The Lord Warden says, looking at the flag more as it laid on his desk. "Who all knows about this?"

"The the one who found it and a select few in my platoon. I told them I'd let you know first before we start causing panic around the people here and in Menagerie."

"I'm glad that you did, quickly. Wrap it up." As they did so, The Warden takes it and tells Stone his orders, "Alert your men, allow the news to spread, let every man or women know, to the oldest and to the Youngest, soldier or not my people need to know. I will be taking this and I'll call upon the Warborn and The Dawn Empire Leaders and we'll meet in Harmony once more. Understand?"

"Understood Jaune!"

"Good. The Blackstones have returned, we mustn't let them!" Jaune turns to leave. "Oh! Before I forget, please let Mercy know of my disappearance, this is a matter she knows to know as well anyway."

"Of course Lord Warden!"

"Grab your men, grab every available soldier you can, The Blackstones have ran and we will be the ones to cut them down once again and until then, Godspeed Stone, may The Brother God watch over us."

"May he watch over us." Bumping fist together the two would split ways, The Lord Warden Jaune on his way to a horse with an escort while sending two messenger birds away.

And Stone to Mercy's quarters to let her know of this development. Both equally determined to finished what their big enemy started, or die trying.

Back in Remnant within the continent of Sanus an Airship flew across the land at a fast rate, this Airship held both Teams RWBY and CRSS to their destination, that being Mountain Glenn.

"You know professor, I never saw you as much of a fighter." Yang says, "To underestimate your opponent is already the first sign of defeat Miss Xiao-Long, remember that." Holden Cross says next to Dr. Oobleck.

"Exactly! While I admit I fancy myself more as an intellectual do not think for a second I haven't had my fair share of tussles!"

"Like the Mushroom?" Ruby asks

"Those are truffles." Blake explains.

"Like the sprout?"

"Those are Brussels." Yang replies.

"Besides, given my expertise in the field of history as well as my dabblings in the archaeological surveys, our dear Headmaster saw fit to assign me to this particular…assignment!"

"What does History even have to do with this?" Acer asked the Doctor

"My what a preposterous question you silly boy! Why, history is the backbone of our very society! And the liver! And probably the kidneys if I were to wager…"

"What is that supposed to even mean?" The Centurion asks now more confused with his teammates in the same position.

"The southeast quadrant of Vale is home to wild forest and deep caves. But! It is also the location to one of the kingdoms greatest failures."

"Mountain Glenn" Ruby states. "That's right, it was an expansion of Vale! But in the end it was overrun by Grimm and was fenced off from the rest of the city…" Yang says adding on to the conversation.

"Correct! Now it stands abandoned, as a dark reminder."

"What are we even supposed to be looking out for anyway? Some kind of secret hideout?" Jeanne wonders out loud.

"If that is what we find, then that will be one of the things we're here for. Prepare yourselves. We're closing in on the dropping point." Holden Cross cuts in as the Airship lowers itself to a part of the broken city.

As the sides open up fully Team RWBY jumps out on one side with Dr. Oobleck while Team CRSS jumps out with their Lawbringer General.

Both teams ready for a fight with the two fully fledged Huntsman look and scan around the area. As the wind howls and the Airship leaves them, nothing seemed out of place except for the desolate wasteland around them.

Buildings both broken and unfinished. Dr. Oobleck says a few words to both teams. "Students, while you may all still be beginners, as if this moment your first mission as Huntsman and Huntresses have begun. From this point forward you need to do exactly as I say. Do you understand?"

Team RWBY nods while Team CRSS would yell "Understood!" Confused, Oobleck looks over at them and The Lawbringer shakes his head, "Don't mind them, it's a habit at this point."

"Right, in any other case, Ruby!" Quickly looking over Ruby jumps in fright "Eep!"

"I thought I told you to leave all your bags back at school."

"But, uh…You didn't….Tell us to." Ruby tried to defend, with Dr. Oobleck thinking on her words, "So I hadn't. Very well Ruby leave your bag here we can pick it up upon our return."

"But I-whaa-"

"Young lady what in the world could you possibly have in that bag that could be so important for you to bring it-" The backpack that Ruby had on suddenly rustled around and a little furry head popped out.

Team CRSS who were splitting up to their temporary partners were watching Ruby and at this time all became extremely confused, Jeanne especially as she was behind Ruby and was looking at the creature with surprised.

The Dog began panting and barked at the Warden of the group, Team CRSS stared on incredulously. "Ruby…What in the world is that thing in your backpack?" Jeanne had to ask.

"Uhhhhh…A Corgi?" Ruby said, not knowing how to fully explain it.

"What the heck is a Corgi?" Abbey ask, looking at the dog alongside the rest of the Harmonions beside Holden Cross. "His names Zwei, he's cute isn't he?" Yang asked, 'Adorable…' Kamiko said in her native language.

"We're here to investigate an abandoned urban jungle teeming with death and hostility and you brought, a dog?" Dr. Oobleck asked. "I-uhhh…!" Ruby tried to explain.

"That's a dog?" Abbey asked a frowning Blake. "Unfortunately…"

"Genius!" The Doctor yelled running, surprising the group, The Lawbringer included not expecting his speed, suddenly he came back and took Zwei into his hands, pushing Ruby in the process.

"Canines are historically known for their perceptive nose and heightened sense of sound, making them excellent companions for a hunt such as ours!" He said spinning Zwei around happily, with Zwei responding with a Bark.

"I'm a Genius." Ruby proudly says, with her team face palming at the grinning Leader. "So what are our orders General?" Jeanne asked, next to Ruby.

"Right…" The General of the team says still watching Dr. Oobleck spinning Zwei, "If you haven't been informed, the Southeast Area has been marked as a hotspot for Grimm. There are a few explanations to why this is happening."

"Grimm." The professor says suddenly next to Holden, "What the-?!" "Grimm, a creature approximately 100 yards from us at this very moment." He says.

With both teams quickly turning around they could see a single Beowolf prowling the area, sniffing the ground. All of them ready for a fight, Holden Cross moving in front of them.

"Stop!" The group hears Oobleck yell, "Stop? There is a Grimm ahead of us, if there's one there's always more." Holden Cross replies weapon in hand at the ready still.

"There are a number of reasons why Grimm will congregate in this particular area, the most likely of which will be their attraction to negativity: sadness, envy, loneliness, hatred. All qualities that are likely held by our hidden group harboring ill intent."

"Hmm…You do have a point." Holden Cross says conceding his point.

"So what now?" Ruby asks

"We wait. We track. If this specimen leads us to its pack, that pack may subsequently lead us to our prey."

Jeanne could be seen writing into her personal journal using a brand new and major technological discovery to the Harmonians. A Pen, she writes down all the information needed and given, especially when it was coming from the Professor, so she had to ask. "How long will we have to wait?"

"It's uncertain. Hours, days, weeks. Why, lone Grimm have been known to stay isolated from the pack for months - and there's the whole pack." Oobleck suddenly says, the group turning around and yes, there was a whole Beowolf Pack. "What?!" Weiss yells

"What did I tell you!" The Knight General yells readying for a fight again, "And now they've seen us." Oobleck mentions. "We can see that?! Charge!"

"Wait!" Oobleck tried to say.

"GRAAAH!!" Team CRSS yells as the five Harmonians charge into battle, "Ready your Auras! Jeanne, Abbey, to the Left!" "Right!" The two yell in unison going for a pair of Grimm.

"Kamiko, Acer, Right!"

"Bene!"

"On your word!"

"I got the big one in the middle!" The General of the group says, charging straight for the Beowolf Alpha, seeing the Harmonians the pack charges as well, thus the battle had started.

"I take it tracking is out of the question!" Ruby yells reaching for Crescent Rose turning it in its sniper form. "An accurate assumption, yes." He replies.

"So what's the plan then?" Yang says, Dr. Oobleck thinks on it until he brings out his hand towards Ruby stopping her from shooting anything. "We shall wait, if my assumption is correct, Team Cross has experience in dealing with these small Grimm incursions. You will all show me what you're capable of at a later time. So observe for know, and see if you are able to implement techniques when working with them."

The Remnantians look forward and watch, Yang looks to Kamiko and watches her fight, A Beowolf jumps forward with a slash until it was suddenly parried, spinning around Kamiko stabs her blade into the Grimm's head as it was directly behind her.

Seeing another Grimm approaching she spins forward again quickly slicing the Beowolf's face into two, dropping it. Moving to her right she dashes forward into a Beowolf who was standing, going for paw strike and she does an overhand strike her blade cutting deep into it, but not bisecting it.

Quickly pulling her weapon out then stabbing the Grimm in the Chest bringing its head forward she pulls it out again and quickly decapitates the Beowolf removing its neck from its body.

Weiss would go on to see Acer stopping an approaching Beowolf that was trying to ambush Kamiko, by using his Gladius to stab into the Wolf's head while he was still in the air from a jump.

Running towards another Grimm using a heavy attack, he follows the attack up with another Heavy in a quick succession, pushing the wolf back it tries to stands up to hopefully even up then fight but the Centurion wasn't finished and using a good amount of his Aura he sent it all into his fist and punched the Grimm down.

"Incredibilis!" Could be heard from him as he jumps and stabs his blade into the Beowolfs head, killing it. Seeing a chance he parries one of the Wolfs that was looking to attack him and then using more Aura he kicks the Grimm away.

Moving forward he would strike that same Grimm causing its guard to break and it would find its face being beaten on by the pommel of Acer's Gladius, he would cut its neck right after.

Blake would see Abbey picking a fight with three separate Beowolves, using her shield The Valkyrie would lean down, her shield up. The Grimm would claw and slash at the shield to no avail. It was one after another and it seemed she was trapped, but all it did was make her angry, timing the strikes she would suddenly parry all three of the Grimm's slashes.

"ÉG DREP ÞIG!" She says while spinning and sweeping the legs of all three Grimm, while they were still in the air she would focus on the left Beowolf and jabbed at it three separate times in quick succession, before smacking it away with a side heavy.

When the middle Beowolf was on the ground she jumped and stabbed her Spear into its head, then twisting it for the kill. While the right Beowolf was back on its legs and ran to Abbey, wanting to jump and take a bite of her.

She dodged the attack with a side step then suddenly charged into it, pushing it back, then went for a Guard Break punch the Grimm into facing her. With a chance shown she headbutts the Grimm and a loud yelp could be heard from it.

It's existence wouldn't last as when the Valkyrie got a Heavy Strike in, her Spear deep into the Grimm, she would quickly pull it out, grabbing onto her spear with both hands, twirled with it, gliding the Blade end into the Beowolf's face, knocking it away, killing it.

When looking at Ruby, the young red reaper would be looking at Jeanne through her weapon's scope, and she could see The Warden of the group was struggling.

The Warden was being cornered she could see, the Beowolves she was fighting was in fact pushing her away from the group, keeping an eye out for her Ruby could see her fight well all the same.

"Graahh!'" Jeanne shouted as she swung her sword at one of the wolves. The wolf dodged the attack by jumping back but Jeanne continued to swing with all her might. It wasn't until she hit another Beowolf that she finally caught up and dealt out some damage. She had been so focused on her first wolf that she hadn't noticed the second or third Beowolf until they'd attacked her.

She was able to knock one of the wolves off their feet and land several blows before they got back up again. Her opponent growled in anger and lunged towards her. She blocked the strike then parried the next few strikes. Just like that she was doing what she used to do every day. Cutting down opponents as she fought for her life. But this time there were more than just one enemy trying to kill her.

One of them snarled as it charged. She saw an opening and cut at its throat. The blade sliced through. deep enough to reach flesh. She tried to follow up with another strike but missed because she had to block the other two wolf's attacks. After a moment she realized that if she didn't act soon then both of her enemies would end up killing her. So Jeanne looked around to see where the other two were, then she made a quick decision.

"Raaaaaaah!" Jeanne yelled loudly

She spun and chopped down at the nearest wolf. The sword bit into the creature's shoulder.

The wounded Grimm stumbled backwards and fell over onto its side, the wolf howled in pain.

It was almost too easy. She glanced up to find out if there was still more but she didn't have to look far. The second wolf was standing over the body of its fallen comrade. Its eyes narrowed with rage as it looked at her.

Jeanne called upon her power and let out a roar. Instantly, the air around her shimmered and began to heat up. As she focused more and more energy into her sword it grew hotter and hotter. When she was satisfied that she had enough strength to make the fire hot enough she stepped forward.

The second wolf turned to face her. "Grahh! Graaahh!"

As she jumped forward the tip of her sword burst into flames. The white-hot metal singed the hair on the wolf's head. The smell of burning fur filled the air. The wolf recoiled from the heat of the blade then stopped and howled in pain. Its eyes glowed even brighter for a split second as The Wolf stumbled back and collapsed to the ground.

With a suddenness that belied her size Jeanne leapt forward and ran the last few steps to her final target. She landed on top of him and brought her sword down across his neck. The wolf's head suddenly rolled to the side. Jeanne stood up and looked at the dead wolf lying next to her, then her hand.

Not seeing another Beowolf jump at her, the same one knocked away from Abbey's fight, but before it could take a bite out of Jeanne a single sniper bullet was shot through its head, turning it into dust before it could connect.

Looking towards the noise of the the gunfire she could see Ruby reload her weapon with a smile and a wave. Jeanne waved back, with a smile unseen from all.

CLANG!!

Looking towards the cause of that large metal clang, all could see Holden Cross holding back the claws of the Alpha Beowolf with his Metal Pole Axe, The Alpha pulled back and slashed at him, Holden Cross slashed it back, then other, Holden Cross parried.

This small exchange of blows went back and forth quickly, one after another and it impressed Team Cross seeing their General in action. They seen what he could do against normal Grimm during their small hunts. But ever so rarely did they see him fight an Alpha.

"I think I've had enough of you!" They could hear him say as he blocked and parried, that was until The Alpha went for a double overhead strike, as the claws were getting closer and closer Holden Cross thought quick, with Strength just as deadly and Spun his weapon, swiping the paws away, cutting them in the process.

The Grimm howled in pain, it's paws obviously cut down the middle. Suddenly Holden Cross Spun with the full might of his weapon, using a large amount of his Aura and leading it into his blade one word could be heard throughout the land, "Ad mortem, inimīcus!"

SHING!!

And the Alpha would not known exactly what happened, only that it fell to the ground, it's legs unfeeling as it watched The Lawbringer's back, his weapon positioned as if he had sliced something in half.

Spinning once more, his weapon raised high to the sky, Holden Cross struck down into the Wolf's skull and it was split in two, a gust of wind bellowing from the heavy impact as Unbreakable Steel was cut into the concrete ground, cracks forming from the impact.

Looking forward The Alpha's lower half was still standing, pulling out his weapon he pushed into the lower stomach attached to the legs, and then it fell, slowly turning into dust.

"And that students, is how you handle an Alpha, Do You Understand?!?" He yelled suddenly, Team Cross standing at attention and each collectively yelling out "Understood!"

"Good, now then." Team Cross and their General approach the Remnantians and Holden across speaks. "Oobleck, Team RWBY, I believe we'll be following your lead now."

"With teammates like that, this'll be a piece of cake!" Ruby happily says, her team nodding in agreement.

"Do not celebrate yet, for I am certain this is the first bout of many. Shall we continue?" Dr. Oobleck wisely says.

"Yes, we shall" The Lawbringer replies.

(A/N: Thank you all for your continued support, despite the lack of updates. I wish and hoped you all had a great Thanksgiving. Until Next Time!)

Reviews:

Guest: It took some time but here's another update, one I hope lived up to the hype, thank you for the support!

King of the Grimm: Honestly, I think the interactions being the two teams will be the one thing I hope to do more of. As for The Lord Jaune…I'm sure one of them would make the connection soon enough.

Luftewaffle20: (1.) Thank you, Chapters are slow going I admit, but something recently inspired me, giving me the motivation to continue. I hope it turned out well. (2.) I'm glad you love it! Hope I can make it even better.

GeraltRex: As of now, I will admit Team Cross (CRSS) here is slightly older then some first years due to to time displacement shenanigans by you know who…but with a certain barrier breaking time seems to be fixed on both sides. So Day in Remnant, is a day in Harmony now (aside from time zones) if that helps. I tried to make these small fights simple yet efficient, as well as brutal as I could. Hope it worked out.

Emoryjmorrill: (1. 2. 3.) I really appreciate your support, thank you.

Sgtitanwolf: And Lawdaddy shows how it's done, maybe with a bit too much strength, but there's no better kill then overkill.

Tuevang78: Maybe I should, with Wattpad, ideas, and real life obligations. I do love this story more lmao.

246vili: Ain't no better story teller then one who was there to see it all, even if he misremembered a detail or two.
