Author's Note: I am going to have to move some of the things I planned to do in another halo in the near future. I even had to change the name of the halo. Still, I will make it work. I have the next two to three halos mapped out. Like I said before, I will add so plot points that I wanted to add in this halo. I have a working title for the Christmas special but I might change it later. Speaking of which, I will get to work on the Christmas specials. For now, enjoy this week's halo.

Halo Eighteen: Nightlife:

-Taro-

Somebody is going to die tonight. Not the big one. That's not until three nights from now. Think of this as the appetizer. No, wait yes. Okay, think of it as a second appetizer. Or would that be second course?

I digress.

Let's see what's going on tonight. I can feel the vice dripping everywhere. I threw back my head and took a breath. Mmm! Smells like corrupted goodness.

I want more!

Oh. What is this? Let's see whom we are visiting tonight.

Nakamura made his way to Dragon Men. He's spent a day and a half looking up gay bars around Ikebukuro. The Dante Killer would more than likely strike at one of those places. Time for a stakeout.

It felt awkward to be here. Now, Nakamura wasn't the hottest thing to walk into a gay bar. But certainly stood out. Some of the patrons were turned on by cops. Even some of them had a cop fetish. Already, a number of young men were checking him out. The detective tried not to look at them. Nakamura walked up to the bar. The bartender in drag broke into a huge smile.

"Hello there, cutie," he said. "First time in Dragon Men?"

"Yeah," Nakamura said. Already, he started to question if this was a good idea. His eyes shifted back and forth.

"Aw, don't worry, honey," the bartender purred. "We're really friendly here. We won't bite." That hungry grin did little to make the detective confused.

"Huh? Oh! No, no! I'm not here for that!" he quickly said, shaking his head. The bartender frowned.

"You a cop?" he asked, his tone turning cold. "Cause there ain't nothing illegal going on here."

"No, nothing like that," Nakamura said. "Have you seen anything suspicious here tonight? Like someone who isn't supposed to be here?"

"Like the DK?" the bartender asked. The detective stared at him at first.

"DK?" he asked. The bartender in the pink dress rolled his eyes.

"The Dante Killer," he whispered. Nakamura stared at him.

"How did you know?" he asked.

"Honey, I studied European literature in college," the bartender said. "Besides, the Dollars chatroom has been talking about it." He looked around for a moment before pulling out his phone.

"See?" he asked. Nakamura looked down at the screen phone. So many words kept popping up on the screen.

"Wow," he mouthed. He looked up at the bartender. Nakamura cleared his throat.

"Right," he said. "I've looking to try and catch the guy. So I'm on a stakeout." The bartender had a serious on his face now.

"Can I get you anything?" he asked.

"Just a light beer, please," Nakamura said. The bartender got to work. The detective rubbed his forehead and sighed.

Heh. Good luck, buddy.

Let's see, who's next? Ooo! It's our favorite detective! And what's this? She seems to have a small crisis on her hands.

-Sachiko-

I looked down at my lap. I have hickeys all over my thighs. I have been staring at them for some time. They all looked fresh too. I don't know how I got them. The rape kit results came back.

"You weren't raped," the lab tech who handled my kit said. "You just had rough sex." I looked so confused.

"What do you mean?" I asked.

"There was sexual activity in the eleven, twelve, and one o'clock areas," they said. I shook my head.

"That can't be right," I said. "Was I drugged?"

"No," the lab tech said. "The toxicology came back negative. Now, there is a possibility that there could be some drugs that cleared out before the test. Anything else?"

"No…" I said. I wondered out despondent.

"Hisakawa?" the lab tech asked.

I rubbed my forehead and breathed out. It didn't help that I started to remember more things. I can't see his face. But his words chilled me to my core.

"I'm going to leave these hickeys on your thighs as a way to remember me by."

I could feel my heart jumping up into my throat. I shivered as I felt his large hands around my neck. His hands pushing apart my thighs. Then came the whip lashes to my thighs and my…

I turned and threw up in the toilet. If I tried to remember anymore, I think I'm going to be sick.

-Taro-

Oh, I get the feeling it's not going to end there.

What's going on here?

Mikado knocked on the apartment door. He already knew what was going to happen. The tadpole looked up when the door opened. Akari stood in the doorway.

"You're here," she said. The tadpole boy held up his phone.

"Why did you call me here?" he asked. The witch didn't answer. She backed up into her apartment. Mikado followed her inside. He closed the door behind him.

They both sat in her room. Mikado and Akari didn't talk at first.

"Why did you call me here?" he asked. She closed her fists in her lap.

"I needed to see you," she said.

"Oh," he said. They sat in silence for a moment. He hear all of the things she wanted to do to him.

"I have a girlfriend," Mikado said.

"I know," Akari said. She lifted her chin as she gulped. She looked into his dull blue eyes. The witch clutched her fist to her chest.

"You're doing this to me," she complained. "I can't focus on my meditation and spells. I dream about you. Every time I think of you, I want to sleep with you!" Akari grabbed the sides of her head.

"It's all doing my head in!" she shouted. Mikado reached out to touch her shoulder.

"Don't!" Akari shouted. "Just… don't." The tadpole boy lifted her head and kissed her on the lips. The witch didn't try to push him off. She didn't have to ask herself why. Mikado slowly pulled away. Neither of them spoke at first.

"Um…" he said at last. Akari wouldn't look at him. She could feel her heart pounding against her chest.

"Is this what you called me for?" Mikado asked.

"Fuck," Akari said to herself.

"What was that?" he asked. The witch pressed her lips together as she looked into his eyes.

"Did you take your pheromone blockers?" she asked. "Please tell me the truth. This is really important to me."

"Yes," Mikado said. Akari trembled as a thought crossed her mind.

"That can't be possible," she said. "That would have to mean…" Mikado took her by the cheeks and kissed her on the lips again. Her train of thought became derailed. The tadpole pulled away from her. Akari felt so cold as she struggled to say something. She looked him in the eye.

"Do you want me to leave?" Mikado asked. Akari shook her head.

"Can you kiss me again?" she asked in a quiet voice. The tadpole gave her another kiss. She was able to try and center herself to think. Mikado slowly pulled away. Akari cleared her throat.

"I guess we could use this as a way to test and see what I need to change about the pheromone blockers," she said. The witch gave him another kiss. Mikado's hands moved to her breasts.

"No bra," he said. Akari looked away with her cheeks turning a light red.

They ended up on her bed. Mikado climbed on top of her. Akari started breathing heavily. All she had on was a dark gray gown. The witch reached up and unzipped his jacket. She slid it open and threw it to the side. The witch took a breath as she gulped.

"This is just for a test," Akari said again.

"I understand," Mikado said. They both know that this is a lie. Either one could stop this at any time. The tadpole slid off his shirt. Akari stared up at him with deep red cheeks. She cleared her throat.

"We don't have to go all the way," Akari said. Mikado kept his eyes on her.

"Are you sure?" he asked. The witch nodded once.

"All right," Mikado said. He rolled up her skirt to her abdomen.

"Oh. No panties either," the tadpole said. "Tell me, what were you expecting tonight?"

"Shut up," Akari muttered, looking away. Mikado turned her face to his.

"And you sure you want to do this?" he asked. The witch lifted her chin.

"Yes," she said. "This is all to see how to fix the pheromone blocker." Mikado didn't bother to correct her. Instead, he moved down between her thick thighs. Akari moaned as the tip of his tongue touched her lower lips.

"Fuck!" she shouted as she felt his tongue going inside. Slowly Mikado licked around inside the lower lips. More memories filled his head. He's done this with her before. Akari's moans filled the room. The tadpole had only gotten started. Akari didn't know whether to grab onto the sheets or him. She arched her back in response.

"Wow!" the witch shouted. Sweat began to form on her body. Mikado glanced up at her.

Do you want me to go further? His voice echoed in her head.

"Yes!" Akari shouted. Mikado couldn't help but smile. He slipped out his tongue and sat up on his knees. The witch looked up, whimpering.

"Why did you stop?" she asked. The tadpole didn't answer as unzipped his jeans.

Oh? What do we have here?

Itori and Yukio sat on their living room couch. The couple didn't look at each other at first. Yukio clenched his fists in his lap.

"I really do love you," he said.

"Stop," Itori said. "Don't say that." Yukio lifted his chin. They did this every time they were alone together. What was it going to take to get through to her?

"Itori-chan…" Yukio began again.

"Don't!" she said. Her boyfriend sighed. It looked like he was going to have to show her.

"What is it going to take?" Yukio finally asked. Itori didn't look at him as she tightened her jaw. Her boyfriend braced herself to be yelled at again. Instead, she said two words that were barely audible.

"Kiss me."

Now, this. Here is what you are looking for. Let's see how this date is going to turn out.

He couldn't have been older than eighteen. The young man with the silver piercings in his ears sat nervously at the bar. The tight black leather pants and loose red silk shirt made him feel out of place. The young man already started to question his life choices that led him to this bar. It all started with his friend's crazy idea.

Suddenly, he became aware of someone sitting next to him. The young man turned his head. He had to be about in his late forties to early fifties. His dark blue suit looked like it had been tailored in Europe, he had to guess in Italy. His watch and rings definitely came from money. It didn't take long for him to notice the younger man.

"Can I buy you a drink?" he asked. The young man blushed when he looked into the older man's deep brown eyes.

"S-S-Sure," he said. The older man chuckled.

"Your first time out here?" he asked. The young man slowly nodded. The other man placed his hand on his.

"Don't worry," he said. "I'll be nice." The young man gulped. The older man put up his hand for the bartender. The young man studied his new "friend's" profile. A warm feeling formed in his chest.

"Wow," he mouthed to himself. Maybe this might not be so bad. The bartender walked over with their drinks. The older man picked up his glass.

"Here's to an interesting night," he said. The younger man picked up his glass and nodded.

"To an interesting night," he said. The two glasses clinked together. The men drank up. The older man looked over at his new "friend".

"Your place or mine?" he asked. The younger man lifted his chin.

"Yours," he said in a trembling voice. His client finished his drink.

"Good choice," he said. Three drinks later and the men were out the door.

-December 15, 2015-

Erina and Hifumi had just gotten off their shifts when their phones buzzed. The women took them out for a look. Erina looked at her coworker.

"What do you think it's going to hit first?" she asked. Hifumi didn't have an answer. They knew that they had to get to safety right away. By now, the news of the body found in the abandoned building was circling the internet.
