At the entrance of the Gala for Goodness event, Thierry Margoulin was talking about the event for all the BFC news viewers, "...We are just moments away from Professor Marmalade's Gala for Goodness, where the legendary Love Crater Meteorite will be on display for the first time ever." In the BFC news livestream, the video transitioned for the video where the Bad Guys were with the cat they rescued, "But what everyone is really buzzing about is the Bad Guys, whose heart-melting rescue video has made them an overnight viral sensation."

Meanwhile, the Bad Guys were inside Marmalade's limousine, being driven to the Gala. They were all dressed up in fancy suits for the occasion. They were all together in the back of the limousine as Wolf was recapping their plan to steal the Golden Dolphin.

"All right, guys, this is the big one." Wolf spoke to everyone, "The Golden Dolphin is inside a titanium case controlled by a randomly generated five-digit code, a code kept safe and secure inside a briefcase handcuffed to the chief of police."

"She's not messing around." Piranha said, scratching his chin.

"The code is only accessible with her authorized fingerprints." Wolf said.

"Leave that to me." Snake told Wolf.

"While Snake gets the code, Shark will secure the fake Dolphin." Wolf said.

Shark nodded, "I like the sound of that."

"Meanwhile, the rest of us plant circuit jammers." Wolf said.

"Allowing me to hack into the power grid." Tarantula added.

"At the end of the night, we toast the professor, "Blah-blah-blah, yada yada," and when I say "Marmalade," lights go out, and we'll have exactly four seconds to make our move." Wolf explained.

"The old switcheroo." Snake said, liking the plan.

"Chief hands Marmalade the fake Dolphin, we get our pardon, applause, applause, exit stage right, and by the time they realize what happened..." Wolf paused as Tarantula played a gif on her phone of Wolf with sunglasses with the subtitle "So long suckers" Wolf then finished the plan, "We'll be driving off into the sunset, legacy cemented."

"Got to hand it to you, buddy. You're a real artist." Snake admitted.

Then the limousine stopped as they had arrived at the Gala. Marmalade was the one who opened their door.

"Well, Good Guys™, this is it. Good luck out there." Marmalade told them, he then reminded them, "Remember, all eyes will be on you tonight, not me." The Bad Guys got out of the limousine as they looked around at the people that were just staring at them. Marmalade turned to the people, "Friends, meet the Good Guys™!"

The Bad Guys forced a smile as everyone was still staring at them, they were waiting for the people to start screaming and running around, but instead the people started clapping and cheering for them, the Bad Guys stood there dumbfounded as they wondered what kind of defensive mechanism was this.

"Uh, this is different." Snake said, looking at the people not being scared of them.

"Is this a prank?" Piranha asked the others.

"What's that sound?" Shark asked as he wasn't used to cheers and applause, "Like screaming but not terrified."

Wolf moved his vest as he spoke to the others, "All right, guys, let's, uh...let's mingle."

They walked in the gala as Tarantula said, "It's crime time, baby."

At the gala a group was playing music on the stage, setting a calm and pleasant mood in the place. Children were walking around the gala with boxes, asking people to give money for the charity. The Bad Guys were going all around the gala making preparations to steal the Golden Dolphin. Diane was talking to some guests as the board members were discussing with Harry about him going to Diane and trying to get back Oscorp's good grace.

"Why do you want me to do it?" Harry asked the board members why he should be the one to talk to the Governor.

"It will be good to have someone young to do it." Max explained.

"You say that like I'm a kid." Harry said, looking at Diane, then he shrugged, "But alright." He walked up to her, "Hey."

Diane turned back to Harry, "Harry. Hey, it's been so long."

Harry nodded, "It has." They shook hands.

"I presume Norman isn't here?" Diane asked Harry.

Harry chuckled, "That obvious?" He asked back.

"You two never go out together." Diane pointed out.

"It's true. And truth to be told, it's because he never liked me that much, not that I'm trying to get your pity or badmouth my father, it's just a fact that I understand well. It's just, he would love it if I took his exact same steps, but I'm more of a business man than a scientist."

"I'm sorry." Diane apologized, from Harry having difficulty with his father, but it was also a bit of a personal apology from the problems she had with Norman.

"Like I said it's fine." Harry told Diane to not worry, "And today's an exception, he must be overworking himself because of everything surrounding Oscorp, but don't worry, he will get up and be stronger than ever before."

"I'm glad to know." Diane said.

"And I'm glad to know you're not a cold-hearted politician, it's quite rare." Harry said.

Diane looked to the side, "Yeah, emotions can get in the way."

"I'm sure I too would be an emotional governor." Harry pointed out.

"Harry." Max called out to Harry as Henry took him close to Harry, "Could you come with us for a second?" Max asked Harry to come back with them.

Harry didn't understand why they wanted to talk to him after telling him he needed to talk with the Governor, but he still nodded, "Uh, sure." he then turned back to Diane, "I'll see you later, Governor."

"See you, Harry." Diane waved at him.

The two board members went away with Harry, they seemed to be scolding him for saying too much and not what they wanted. Were they eavesdropping them this whole time? She turned away from them, deciding to let them do whatever they're trying to do.

From far away she saw Wolf was talking to some people, she was glad to see they weren't scared of him, soon enough Wolf noticed her too, Diane waved at him as he was about to do the same, until he got dragged away by Snake grabbing his arm with his tail, she wondered what that was about.

Snake took Wolf to an empty table where no one would be able to hear their conversation. He let go of Wolf's arm as he looked up to him.

"What's wrong?" Wolf asked Snake why he took him away.

"I tried to get the chief's briefcase, but there's this guy who won't just move out of the way." Snake explained, turning his head to the bar stand.

Wolf turned his head to the bar stand too, seeing the Chief standing there, arm crossed, as she looked at them menacingly, on her right there was a man back turned to them, sitting on a stool in front of the bar stand. Wolf needed some time to figure out that man was Angel, the photographer he saw at the Good Samaritan awards.

Wolf pointed at Angel, "That guy?" He asked Snake.

Snake nodded, "Yeah, it's like he's hibernating there or something. I can't get to the briefcase if he's always watching." He explained the problem to Wolf.

Wolf thought of a plan to get rid of Angel, "I'll handle it." He told Snake.

Snake nodded and then he sneakily slithered close to the bar stand just waiting for Wolf to take Angel away so they could continue the plan.

Angel's elbows were on the stand, his hands over his face as he looked down at his camera on the stand, he regretted his decision to come here, already wanting to get out. But he had to take pictures of the Governor and the event, but not because Jameson forced him, but because he asked Jameson to do it, as if his past self knew he wouldn't want to stay at this place once getting in, so he decided to force a reason to stay.

His thoughts were interrupted when he heard the chief say, "I know you're up to something, Wolf."

Wolf got his paws up, chuckling, "You got me." Then he walked to Angel's side, putting his arm over his shoulders', "And I got you." He got Angel up, "Come on let's go."

Wolf walked away with Angel, as Chief continued to follow Wolf's every movement. Snake got out from behind the stand, his head right in front of the chief's briefcase and she didn't know about it.

"I'm fine." Angel told Wolf, wanting him to stop whatever he was trying to get at.

Wolf shook his head, "Nah, you're not. I mean look at you." He looked up and down at Angel and his attire, "You look like you've barely survived a tornado attack."

Angel got Wolf's arm off his shoulder as he stopped walking, "And what if I did?"

Wolf didn't immediately answer, he just stayed silent as he started making Angel's outfit look more presentable, combing out his hair to the right side as Angel wondered what he was doing, Wolf started speaking, "If you did, then there would be no reason for you to just sit there in the bar and be so down you won't ask for a single drink. I mean come on, we've got only one life, might as well make it memorable, right?"

Angel thought about Wolf's words, and why he was telling him this, "Why are you doing this?" He asked Wolf.

Wolf tapped on Angel's left shoulder with a smile, "Haven't you heard? I'm a good guy now."

"Yeah." Angel nodded, "But still, I'm gonna get back to the bar and drink nothing." He then started to walk back to the bar stand.

Then they both heard Diane calling Wolf, "Mr. Wolf."

Wolf turned back and saw Diane standing in front of him, arms crossed with a smile. Seeing he got unnoticed, Angel hid behind Wolf, he then started to sneak away, thinking Wolf would be distracted by Diane.

"Diane. What a surprise." Wolf told Diane, he then reached his arm back and grabbed Angel by his collar, and pushing him to his side, Wolf turned his head to Angel, still talking to Diane, "I was just talking to your buddy Angel."

Now Angel couldn't escape anymore, "Hi." He greeted Diane.

"Hey." Diane greeted him back, she then looked at Wolf, "You know, if I didn't know better, I'd think that you were avoiding me."

Wolf chuckled, "Avoiding you? No, I was catching up with Angel and actually we were talking about you."

Angel turned his head to Wolf, wondering what he was talking about.

"Really?" Diane asked Wolf.

Wolf nodded, a satisfied grin appeared on his face as he replied, "Really. He was just telling how much he wanted to spend time with you, but you know, he's just too shy to go for it."

Angel couldn't believe Wolf was throwing him under the bridge like that, and for what reason? To help him?

"I see." Diane said, not sure how to react to the information Wolf told her.

"Anyway, in my new found altruism I will let you two spend a good time together." Wolf pushed Angel closer to Diane, then he took out two glass drinks from a passing waiter, and gave the drinks to Angel and Diane, "Cheers." He waved at them as he walked away, proud of his action.

They looked at him walking away, Angel let out a slight smile, seeing that there was something that definitively changed in Wolf.

Diane turned her head back to Angel, "He's definitely up to something."

"Or maybe he did really change." Angel said, "Maybe he doesn't look or act like it, but I'm sure on the inside there's been something."

"Right." Diane agreed with Angel, but then she pointed out, "But it is my job as Governor to be paranoid."

"I understand it." Angel nodded.

"So were you forced into this?" Diane asked him.

"What do you mean?" Angel asked Diane what she was trying to say.

Diane explained, "Like Jameson asked you to come here and take pictures."

Angel looked down at his camera close to his chest, hanging on by the lanyard around the back of his neck. He put his hand into his pocket and got out the camera's cover and put it in the camera's lens as he answered, "No. It's just, force of habit, you know?" He looked up at Diane, and with a honest smile he said, "I really want to spend time with you."

Diane didn't expect him to say that, she really thought this was one of Wolf's tricks, it might not be one. She smiled back, and they toasted together.

Meanwhile, Shark was discreetly looking around the gala, trying to find the fake dolphin that was displayed somewhere in the event.

He whispered to himself as he was looking around, "Okay, fake dolphin, fake dolphin, fake dolphin." Then he looked to his right and found the low quality replica of the Golden Dolphin, "Bingo."

He started walking towards the table with the Golden Dolphin, but a group of three people put themselves in front of Shark, wanting to talk to him, "Mr. Shark! Mr. Shark!" One of them asked him, "Is it true sharks can smell blood a mile away?"

Shark didn't expect them to take interest in him, nor ask him that weird question, "What? No. That's freaky." He denied it, finding blood disgusting.

Looking through her binoculars, the chief was still looking at Wolf's every movement, "Okay, Wolf, what is the next part of your plan, huh?" She put her sunglasses to the top of her briefcase as Snake took them. He exhaled air into the glasses, finding the chief's fingerprints on the glasses, "Yeah, with criminals like this, you got to be crafty, subtle, invisible." He put the sunglasses close to the fingerprint reader and it shined green as the case slightly opened, "And then the moment they let their guard down..." Snake put his tail inside the briefcase ready to take out the code, "Whammo!" Suddenly the chief slammed her fist down onto the briefcase, closing it as Snake still had his tail inside of it, He quickly bit into the rest of his tail trying his best to not scream in pain, "Gotta spring the trap. Always one step ahead."

At the same time, Tarantula was hiding near the side of the stage, looking up at the piano keyboard player but especially at his laptop on top of the keyboard, she needed to find a way to get to that laptop without being seen, so she needed to distract that guy somehow. She looked around her and noticed the tree near her, she thought that she could throw something at him, it might work.

She started climbing up the tree, going up to the branch closest to the stage, up there she saw there was an average spider on that branch, seemingly just chilling there. She stood there in front of the spider, and then she started looking around trying to find something out of the ordinary, but everything seemed normal, she then looked down at the crowd inside the gala, Spider-man did say he would be here, but no one would know, he might be someone in the crowd of people.

She sat down as she sighed, resting her head to her palp, why should she bother thinking where he was? The moment everyone finds out they will steal the Golden Dolphin, he will be here and he won't be happy at all. She looked to her side and saw the spider approaching her and stopping right by her side.

"What's up?" Tarantula talked to the spider, but the spider didn't answer, "Oh yeah, you can't speak. You know, that makes me think...I'm really different from you all. I mean, I can't web swing, I don't have super strength, not even a cool suit, but I can hack. Can you hack?" The spider didn't answer, "Of course you can't. I just don't know, being bad is cool, but being good is not that bad, the others will certainly not like it, and they never gave up on me, so I can't really go on my own." She looked at Wolf talking to a group of people, he seemed to enjoy the positive attention he was getting, talking, smiling and laughing with them, "...But maybe I could make them understand." She looked back to the spider who remained unmoving and silent, Tarantula smiled at the spider, "Wish me luck, brother."

She went for putting her palp to the spider's head, but the spider got scared and quickly crawled to the branch's downside, webbing down until landing into the keyboard player's hair, feeling something in his hair the keyboard player put his hand into his hair and grabbed the spider and brought his hand down and looked what he caught, he saw he just grabbed a spider, he screamed in terror and then fainted from the shock and he fell to the floor, ragdoll-style. The group stopped the music and went over to check on him, the medical staff took him off the stage as the group followed him to check on his condition. And now the laptop was free from any prying eyes, but Tarantula had already changed her mind.

Wolf was letting the people take pictures with him, he didn't mind it in the slightest. Then he noticed Tarantula on top of an empty table waving at him to come over to her, he wondered if something happened for her to be calling him.

"Just a minute, guys. I'll be right back." Wolf told them, then he walked away from them and went to the table where Tarantula was, "What's up? Something wrong?" He asked Tarantula.

Tarantula nodded, "Yeah."

"Is it major?" Wolf asked Tarantula, as he started looking around for the others, in case they needed to regroup and think of changing the plan.

"We don't need to call the others, I mean...not for now." Tarantula told Wolf to not look for the others right now.

Wolf looked back at Tarantula, if she didn't want to call the others, it meant it was something serious, "Okay, what's wrong?"

"I think we shouldn't do this." Tarantula told Wolf to stop the plan.

"Wha- The plan?" Wolf asked Tarantula, wanting to be sure she was talking about the plan.

Tarantula nodded, "Yeah."

Wolf already had an idea why she wanted to cancel the plan. He rested one knee onto the ground and put his arm on the table. He asked Tarantula, lowering his voice, "Webs, please, tell me it's because I did something wrong in the plan and not because-"

"It's because of him, yeah." Tarantula confirmed Wolf's doubts that it was because of Spider-man.

"Webs, don't you think this is maybe going a bit too far?" Wolf asked Tarantula.

"It's not my fault if I like him, I may be a big fan of him, but fact is he hasn't been bad to us, he believes in us and we're about to break that trust, it's just, he's gonna hate us for sure, we can't go back to the way things were before, where we were just, I don't know, friendly enemies." Tarantula explained that she didn't want to disappoint Spider-man by stealing the Golden Dolphin.

"I get it that you like him, and maybe you want to become his friend or more or whatever, but with the life we live in..." Wolf paused turning his head to Diane, seeing her having a pleasant conversation with Angel, he sighed as he looked back at Tarantula, "Maybe you should give up on that." Tarantula nodded, disappointed at not being able to get Wolf into her side, "I know it's hard, but don't worry we won't give you up. We stay together."

They were interrupted when Shark and Piranha came in, they seemed nervous from their look and how fast they came to their table, "Guys! look, guys." Shark pointed in front of them.

Wolf and Tarantula looked at where Shark was pointing at and saw the chief grabbing Snake's neck, he had his mouth wide open and tongue out acting like a cup, the chief was moving his tongue around in a circle, like stirring a drink.

"Oh no, no, no-" Piranha and Shark put their hands over Wolf's mouth to shut him up as the Chief looked at them suspiciously.

"That's right." The Chief smirked, "Be intimidated." She let go of Snake's tongue and started approaching his face close to her, ready to drink him, she would soon figure out he wasn't a drink.

Until-

"Look...at me!" They all looked at Piranha, he was on stage, sweating a lot as he just sang to the stage's microphone.

The chief narrowed her eyes on the strange scene, she shrugged it off and went back to try and drink her drink, still not knowing it was Snake.

"Tell me what...you see!" Piranha sang again and louder, putting the microphone closer to his mouth, Shark went on stage, deciding to help Piranha out, by tapping into the drums' bell with a drumstick, "Am I good...or bad?" Tarantula went up to the keyboard, moving the record with her leg, "Don't you judge...so fast!" The public started cheering and clapping from the unexpected song from the Bad Guys, hyping them to continue the song, "Hey, hey, hey, I know you think you know me. You've made your own conclusion. You think that I look scary."

The Chief decided to drop her drink, seeing that the Bad Guys may be planning something if they decided to just sing on stage, she needed to be attentive to their every movement. She still didn't know her drink was Snake.

Being dropped from the Chief's grasp, Snake went back to the case, exhaling air to where she grabbed him, showing the Chief's fingerprints on his body, he put those fingerprints close to the fingerprint reader, lighting up green again, the case opened as Snake freed his tail with the code, he took out the paper from the letter and saw the official code numbers were 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 in that order.

He rolled his eyes and groaned, that much effort and pain for an easy to find code, he put the letter back in the briefcase and closed it. He put his tail up, forming a thumbs up and showing it up to Wolf, he nodded and turned to Piranha still singing, giving him a thumbs up too, Piranha winked at him as he continued singing.

"This is what they were planning." Angel said, watching the Bad Guys's performance.

Diane chuckled, "A musical?"

Angel shook his head, "This is not a musical." He then drank the entirety of the drink inside his glass cup, then he put it down on a nearby table. He looked at Diane, "But if you want to, we could make it to one."

Diane looked at Angel, surprised he took the initiative to ask her for a dance, looking at him she did realize he was acting different, he was much more sure of himself and she couldn't pinpoint why. Seeing him holding out his hand for her, she stopped wondering for a reason to his sudden change and just accepted it, she took his hand, smiling back at him.

The Chief had her arms crossed watching the Bad Guys on stage, trying not to give attention to Wolf who was dancing by her side, she had to resist, she had to stay professional, and not give in to the temptations.

Snake went up to the stage, holding a guitar. He started playing it to the rhythm of the song on the stage alongside Piranha.

Diane and Angel were dancing together, holding close to each other.

"So why the sudden change?" Diane asked Angel.

"What do you mean?" Angel asked back, swaying his hair to the side, "This is who I am."

"Well, with that attitude I expect some better dance moves out of you." Diane teased Angel.

Angel tilted his head to the side, he slowly nodded, "Alright." He then let go of Diane, as she crossed her arms with a grin, waiting to see Angel's skills.

Without transition, Angel jumped up, turning around himself and landing on top of a table, he clapped his hands a few times near the top of his head to the beat of the music, then he made another jump, this time it was the same height but a longer distance as he landed on the bar's stand left side, he went down sliding on his knees to the other side of the stand, the Chief held the briefcase close to her, not letting the photographer touch, as on the slide he turned around on himself and laid on his back to the bar's stand, his head out of the edge of the stand.

He opened his mouth as Wolf poured down the contents of a drink directly into Angel's mouth, the Chief looked down at this small break with confusion.

Soon enough the glass was empty, "Thanks." Angel thanked Wolf, then he jumped up from his lying position, legs first, standing on top of the center of the bar's stand, he jumped again, this time to a chair, he put his shoe to the stool and the other to the top rail, making the chair leaning back and move it back swiftly, letting it slide to the closest table, putting the shoe he had on the top rail to the table's, stopping the chair from moving more and putting it on its four legs.

He jumped out of the chair to land on the ground, he turned to Diane as he removed his jacket with ease, his jacket removal was so powerful it threw a small gush of wind towards Diane, she put an arm in front of herself as the wind swayed her fur back, she laughed from it, but then wondered how did he do that.

Diane took her arm out in front of herself and saw Angel approaching her, snapping his fingers to the beat of the song, he stopped in front giving a last snap.

He held out his hand towards her, "Do I got the moves?" Angel asked Diane.

Diane looked to the side as if she was thinking about, "I don't know..." She paused looking back at Angel, and putting her paw on top of his hand, "Maybe you should show some more."

Back on the stage the Bad Guys didn't forget about the plan, still continuing the song, Piranha, Shark and Snake jumped out of the stage, each one of them sneakily approached the circuit boards and put on the circuit jammers, without being caught.

Tarantula saw that the others had put on the circuit jammers, she took out her USB and connected it to the keyboard's computer, starting to hack the power grid.

The Chief was still resisting, at least she thought she was, she looked down and saw her foot tapping to the beat of the music, she couldn't help but let out a small smile, until she noticed Wolf looking at her, giving her a playful eyebrow raise. She grunted as she quickly took back her "no fun allowed" stand.

Harry clapped joyfully at the performance from the Bad Guys, the board members just stared at him, not taking part in this musical, they were only here for business after all, no place for fun.

The crowd was loving the performance too, not hesitating to donate tons of cash, gold bars, to the kids with the boxes.

The spider Tarantula had met earlier had gone back to the tree, watching the party at the gala, it didn't dance or participate in it, because it's just a spider.

The Chief had decided to give up, the music was too strong, she started dancing with everyone else. Wolf lightly tapped on her shoulder with his fist, glad she was joining the fun, in response the Chief punched Wolf's shoulder, they laughed together, but Wolf did clutch his shoulder from the pain.

Tarantula quickly typed on the laptop's keyboard, until finally getting the result she wanted, she had hacked the power grid. Now they had just to finish the song.

Angel and Diane held their hands together up in the air, then they let go as Diane rolled around herself. Angel decided to take a risk and discreetly shot a web string at her, pulling the web string and Diane closer to him, once back together he put his arm to her back and started slowly leaning her down to the ground, stopping before reaching it as he also leaned forward to meet her gaze.

They stood there for a while, just looking at each other, Diane did notice Angel's camera on her chest, she bit the top of the camera's cover and pulled it out, throwing it away. She looked back at Angel who had a bit of a confused look on his face, she tilted her head at the camera, telling him he had some pictures to take. Angel nodded in agreement, he could make some good shots.

He helped Diane standing up, as he took out the camera's lanyard around the back of his neck, he took the lanyard to his hand as Diane to the camera to her hand, they held it out as far as they could without detaching the lanyard from the camera, as then they approached each other again, this time pulling so close that they bodies touched, Angel grabbed the camera and held it out, the lens aimed to their face, he took the picture, just a single picture, that's all he needed as he then put down the camera to a table.

Then Diane grabbed his hands and put them to each side of her waist, Angel thought that she wanted him to pull her up, so he did that, pulling her as high as he could, until a certain height in which Diane put her arms around the back of Angel's neck, she went down a bit, as her face went close to his, her muzzle touching his nose, Diane closed her eyes, enjoying this moment, as for Angel, everything stopped.

Time, the music, the fire inside his body, everything. He was sure his heart just skipped a beat, he liked Diane, a lot, but that wasn't the cause. He was afraid, afraid of seeing her close to him, he couldn't take the risk, not again.

He carefully let her down to the stage's front, sitting down on it Diane opened her eyes, confused at his action, she looked at his face, seeing him with an ashamed look. He looked to the side, combing his hair to how it was before.

Then he looked back at Diane, trying to give her a honest smile again, but he couldn't, "You should go." He pointed to the stage.

She looked back and saw the Bad Guys had stopped singing, as Marmalade and the Chief were on the stage with them, waiting for her to come. She turned her head back to Angel, he gave her a slight nod as he then waved her goodbye, she waved back at him but was still uncertain about this turn of events.

Angel then turned back and walked away into the crowd, disappearing into the mass of people, Diane sat there for a few seconds needing some time to comprehend what just happened, why did he suddenly change again?

Wolf crouched down to her side, pulling his paw out for her, "Come on, let me help you up."

She looked at Wolf and took his paw as she got up to the stage, standing to Wolf's side.

Seeing as everyone was here, Marmalade started speaking to the crowd through the microphone, "Thank you. Thank you, everyone. As you kn- may know, the money raised tonight will be delivered tomorrow to schools, hospitals and other worthy causes across the city."

Wolf cleared his throat and started speaking, "I just want to take a moment to recognize the ones responsible for our new outlook." Snake looked at the keypad, ready for Wolf's signal, "Even though one of them is not here." Wolf put arm on his back, having a switch on his paw, "Our brilliant mentors, the first one is a paragon of enlightenment...the one and only Professor..." Wolf suddenly stopped, "uh...Professor..." His paw was shaky as he was hesitating to press the button, but he had to do it, it was now or never, but he couldn't, "...Professor Marmalade!" The crowd cheered as Wolf put the switch to his pocket, as the Bad Guys just stood there shocked that Wolf didn't follow through with the plan, "And let's not forget about the Amazing Spider-man!"

Meanwhile Angel had gone away from the gala, he was a bit further away from it, leaning his back on a tree, starting to think again how horrible of a mistake it was coming here, Wolf's words of encouragement disappeared to the back of his mind. He let himself fall to a sitting position, still leaning his back to the tree as he thought to himself how stupid he was, just stupid to forget what will certainly happen the moment he lets people back into his life. Worst of all, this was way bigger than just friendship.

Back at the gala, the chief had opened the glass case containing the Golden Dolphin, she took it out.

"Chief, may I do the honors?" Wolf asked the Chief for the Golden Dolphin.

Knowing that the Bad Guys didn't nothing wrong today, she gave Wolf the Golden Dolphin without hesitation. Wolf walked to the front of the stage, giving the Golden Dolphin to Marmalade as he showed it off to the crowd.

"That's not the plan." Piranha told the others, not understanding why Wolf didn't follow through with the plan.

"He's gone rogue." Shark said he was as confused as the others.

Tarantula stayed silent, thinking why Wolf suddenly changed, maybe her words did have an effect on him.

"A deal's a deal." Diane told Wolf, then she spoke to the crowd, "By the power vested in me, it is a pleasure to grant the Bad Guys a full par..." Diane stopped when she and everyone else noticed the lights suddenly going down, leaving everyone in the darkness of the night.

Angel felt his spider-sense rising at a sign of danger, so he quickly got up and looked back at the gala. He was too far to see something out of the ordinary, but his spider-sense was never wrong. He ripped out his shirt, revealing his spider suit.

He might have quit the gala as Angel, but he will come back as Spider-man.

At the gala, everyone started to hear an engine running far away in the distance, the crowd turned back as everyone on stage looked up, it was far away so no one could see it properly, but it looked like an object flying in the sky towards the event.

"What is that?" Henry asked, trying to figure out what was flying in the sky.

"Might be an attraction from the gala." Max supposed.

Henry got out his binoculars to have a closer look at the unidentified flying object as the Chief did the same thing. After being able to watch it more closely, they quickly got out their binoculars as they gasped.

"That's our glider!" Henry exclaimed.

"That's the Green Goblin!" The Chief exclaimed at the same time.

And once the figure was close enough to the view of everyone, they all knew this was the Green Goblin. The people gasped and screamed as they started running away, the Green Goblin had arrived close enough that he was upside the crowd, from under his glider a missile was shot, flying rapidly to the stage, as it exploded in contact with the love-crate meteorite. Everyone on the stage got driven back from the force of the explosion.

Marmalade looked at the back of the stage, seeing smoke surrounding where the meteorite was, "No!" He screamed at the prospect that the meteorite might have been destroyed.

The Green Goblin flew inside the smoke made by the explosion, as he then got out of it, having made a 180 degrees turn and going back inside the gala, he flew until he stopped near the board members with a pumpkin bomb in his hand.

"Change?" The Green Goblin asked them, before throwing the pumpkin bomb at them. Landing right at their feet, it beeped rapidly before going off and exploding, but instead of going out in flames the board members got their flesh blown off as only their skeletons remained, the remains of their fleshless body falling to the ground. Harry fell backwards to the floor, beyond shock and horrified as he saw right in front of his face all the board members dying in such a tragic and sudden way.

Diane was trying to get up, still a bit out from the shock of the explosion near her, then her eyes shot open hearing the Green Goblin's boots slamming down right in front of her, she looked up and saw the Green Goblin staring down at her. His glider was separated from him, flying around the gala in circles, like a vulture flying around their dying prey.

"Hello, Governor." The Green Goblin talked to Diane with a sadistic tone.

Wolf didn't waste time to rush towards the Green Goblin ready to attack him, but the Green Goblin was quicker, as soon as Wolf was close enough, he grabbed Wolf by the neck and by the force of one hand he lifted him up the air even with Wolf's efforts to get himself off, the Green Goblin was simply stronger than him.

The Green Goblin turned his head to Wolf as he waved his finger at him, "Bad dog. Your play-time is later."

Seeing as the Green Goblin was distracted, Diane swiftly sweep kicked Green Goblin's leg, making him lose balance and lose grip on Wolf's neck, seizing the opportunity Wolf punched Green Goblin's mask at full strength, making him back away and hold his head to the right from the punch.

The Green Goblin exhaled, not from pain but from annoyance. He turned his face at both of them, kicking Diane right in the stomach, forcing her to back away, he saw Wolf's punch coming towards him so he put a arm right in front him, blocking the punch as he used his free arm to uppercut Wolf right in the chin, making Wolf propel back a bit landing on his back further away in the stage.

The Bad Guys quickly put themselves in front of Wolf, as the chief of police with two other officers put themselves in front of Diane and Marmalade, who was hiding behind them. They were all together, it was like they were being served on a golden plate. The Green Goblin internally smirked as he got out a pumpkin bomb.

"It's Spider-man!" A person in the crowd shouted.

Hearing that, the Green Goblin turned his head back, "Huh?" He saw Spider-man swinging towards him, Spider-man slammed his boots at Green Goblin's face, the force of the kicks propelled Green Goblin out of the stage landing far away from the right side of the stage.

Spider-man landed down on the stage looking down at the Green Goblin still down on the ground, he stretched his arm back as he showed everyone on stage his hand, "Everyone, stand back!" He ordered the others to not get involved in the upcoming fight.

Wolf spit the blood coming out of his mouth to the stage's floor as he walked up to Spider-man's side, "No way I'm letting you deal with this guy on your own."

"Yes, teamwork!" Tarantula stood by Wolf's side.

"Only because I want to destroy something right now." Snake stood by Wolf's side, but had some bitterness in his voice.

"You can always count on me." Shark stood by Wolf's side.

"It's fight night!" Piranha stood by Wolf's side.

But the Chief put herself in front of all of them, "Nah, no way. This is work for the police." The Chief jumped down from the stage as she turned back to the two other officers, "You two come with me."

They nodded, as the two officers jumped down and joined the Chief's side, but then the Chief felt a hand on her shoulder, she turned her head back and saw an officer she didn't recognize, he pointed back to Diane and Marmalade.

She understood what he was saying, "Oh yeah, escort the Governor and Professor out of here." She ordered the officer.

He nodded, and without saying a word he helped Diane up and started escorting her and Marmalade, who was holding the Golden Dolphin close to him, out of the stage. Wolf looked back at them, he took out his blue tie from his shirt and took a pen out of his pocket and he started writing on the tie.

"Diane." Wolf called out to Diane, she turned her head back at him as did Marmalade and the officer, he threw his tie at Diane, she caught it and looked at Wolf, "I'm giving it all back. Just in case." Diane looked down at the tie and saw an address written on it.

Meanwhile the Green Goblin had gotten up standing right in front of the three officers approaching him, two of them had pistols aimed at him as the chief was just cracking her knuckles.

"Don't move and put your hands up!" The chief gave him one last warning.

Green Goblin complied and quickly put his hands up in the air, "I surrender."

But it was a trick, as when the officers were close enough to him, he had only to push them away to make them fly backwards, but he knew the Chief wouldn't go down as easily as the other two, so he punched her right in her left cheek, she stood there holding her head right, eyes closed, and then she turned her head to face the Green Goblin as she opened her eyes and showed off with a proud grin on her face, a droplet of blood leaving her lips and a big red mark on her cheek, that she resisted Green Goblin's punch.

Green Goblin tilted his head, surprised that the Chief resisted his attack, "Impressive!" He congratulated her, but he got his head right back up as he knew she still didn't stand a chance, she started getting in a fighting stance as Green Goblin stood there, letting her get the first strike.

She threw her right fist at his face, but he easily dodged, getting her right fist back she quickly threw her left one, but same result, Green Goblin copied her first movement throwing his right fist at her face, but she dodged it narrowly avoiding his hand making contact with her head, she didn't waste time to throw another punch this time down at his stomach, while she used her whole strength on that punch the Green Goblin stood there as if immune to the pain. He threw his left fist at her, once again dodging him, but then the Chief noticed that he let his arms out close to her, and when he put both of his hands on each side of her face she understood this was all part of the plan.

Without any way to defend herself, The Green Goblin started bashing his helmet right in the Chief forehead, he laughed maniacally at each headbutt he gave to the Chief, then he slammed his helmet one last time, letting his hands go off her as she fell back to the floor, The Green Goblin turned to the stage, knowing Spider-man was swinging towards him, he wouldn't get fooled twice.

He blocked Spider-man's punch, stopping him from his swing, Green Goblin addressed him, "Spider-man! Always working alone, but not this time. While I'm flattered by your fear of me, I can't fight you all at the same time." Green Goblin then got out a pumpkin bomb, "Time to show the world what a real bad guy looks like!" He threw the pumpkin bomb towards the Bad Guys.

Spider-man turned his head back at the bomb, "No!" He used his free hand to try webbing the bomb, but Green Goblin didn't let him as he kicked Spider-man's stomach launching him far back, slamming his back into a table full of drinks and then into a lamppost as he then fell down to the ground, he turned his head back seeing that the lamppost had broke and was falling down to a bystander, with both of his hands he shot web strings to the top of the lamppost, stopping it right before hitting the man's head, he then threw the lamppost at the Green Goblin who wasn't expecting it, he put his hands up and blocked the incoming lamppost from falling down on him, but the surprise and weight of the lamppost wasn't easy to maintain as it forced Green Goblin to go down his knees to stop it.

Meanwhile, the pumpkin bomb thrown to the Bad Guys had it's orange metal sheet peeled out as five razor-bat blades got out of the bomb and flew to the Bad Guys's direction.

"Run!" Snake told the others to flee from the flying razor blades.

They all agreed with Snake and started running away from the flying razor blades, except Piranha.

"I do not run." He exclaimed standing right in front of the flying razor blades, "That is not how I roll."

"Piranha, don't do anything crazy." Wolf told Piranha to be careful.

Piranha laughed at Wolf's words, looking back at him, "Crazy is what I bring to the party, chico." He looked back at the flying razor blades, as he got himself ready for the closest one to come and when it was close enough to him he put his arm in front of him and punched the flying razor blade, he was strong enough to destroy it, but it made a large cut in his arm, he grabbed his arm from where the cut was, blood was spilling out from there as he screamed in pain.

"That's enough crazy for today." Shark said, grabbing Piranha from the back of his shirt, Shark crouched his head down dodging the second flying razor blade and then he joined the others on fleeing the other flying razor blades.

The Green Goblin pushed the lamppost out of the way, slamming it down to the ground. He put a finger to his arm as he clicked on a button, his glider instantly flew down towards him, he jumped and landed on the glider mid-flight as he started navigating it. Spider-man looked up as the glider flew upwards, the Green Goblin was looking down on him as the glider started approaching him, he saw barrels of machine guns getting a bit out of the lower part of the glider.

"Oh boy." Spider-man said out loud, realizing he needed to run away from this one.

The glider started shooting bullets at rapid speed from the machine guns, as Spider-man was running away from the glider while trying to avoid the shots. Spider-man looked back as he saw a missile being launched out the glider, this one he couldn't dodge just by running, he shot a web string to a tree and swing at it as the missile shot down and exploded on where he was just a second ago.

Spider-man swung around the tree as Green Goblin was following him, Spider-man went full circle, he was able to get to the back of Green Goblin, he landed on his glider right behind him, seeing Spider-man right behind him, the Green Goblin flew his glider higher, at the same time he tried to elbow him from the back, but Spider-man dodged every elbow strike.

"You've got a license to drive this, right?" Spider-man asked Green Goblin.

"Shut up!" Green Goblin was quick to dismiss Spider-man's one liner.

Then the glider made a sudden 180 degrees turn as it then went at full speed to a building's glass wall, Spider-man's back hitting the glass wall as it shattered the glass. the Green Goblin turned back, as his glider flew to other sides of the building so that Green Goblin could smash Spider-man's backhead to the glass walls. After some more walls broken, Spider-man tried to take back control, he started punching and kicking at the Green Goblin trying to get him out of the glider, but the Green Goblin still had the advantage, easily dodging or blocking every single strike as he just had to push Spider-man to a wall to get control back in, then when he deemed the damage was enough, he grabbed Spider-man from the back and threw him out of the glider.

Spider-man fell off the building until he put his hands on the glass wall and started climbing up the building until he got up on a small ledge. He looked up at Green Goblin's glider, putting out the machine guns's barrels ready to use it again. He couldn't let Green Goblin shoot at him, he needed to shot him first, so he shot a web at him, going to his face distracting and blinding him for a bit, long enough for Spider-man to go near the glider and punch his way through one of the glider's exhaust pipes.

The Green Goblin lost control of the glider, as it started flying off into random directions, smoke coming out of the exhaust pipe Spider-man damaged, the glider was taking Green Goblin away, he shouted, "We'll meet again, Spider-man!"

Seeing the danger was out, Spider-man breathed in and out for just a few seconds, before shooting a web string up and swinging back to the gala.

Back at the gala, the Bad Guys were still running away from the four remaining flying razor blades.

Snake got up to a table as he picked up with his tail an empty tray on it, he put it up right in front of him, ready to use it as a shield, the flying razon blade flew right to the tray and once it made a strong contact with it, it felt to the table, Snake lifted the tray a bit up and looked down at the broken razor blade, he breathed in relief. Then started slamming the tray down at the razor blade until only tiny pieces of it were left.

Then Spider-man came in, jumping down and slamming his fist down at a flying razor blade, crushing it on the spot, he then shot two web strings at the two remaining flying razor blade, stopping them from arriving to Wolf and Shark, he threw them down as the razor blades were destroyed upon contact with the ground.

And then the lights in the Gala went back on.

Tarantula appeared behind Spider-man, "Spider-man, you're back." She was happy to see him.

Spider-man turned to Tarantula, "I am. You okay?" Spider-man asked her.

Tarantula nodded, "Yeah, of course."

Spider-man crouched down and showed his open hand, Tarantula accepted his offer and jumped on his hand, he then got up.

"Spidey, you sure gave that guy hell over there." Wolf told Spider-man, walking up to him.

"Actually, I thought it was the opposite, but I appreciate the compliment." Spider-man appreciated Wolf's support.

"No problem." Wolf shook Spider-man's free hand, "We're gonna get this goblin."

Snake was watching the scene he never thought he would see, Wolf, his best friend, casually shaking hands with Spider-man. What did Wolf become?

"We?" Spider-man asked Wolf.

"Yeah, we. This guy tries to kill us all, not letting him escape that easily." Wolf said, determined to get payback from whoever this Green Goblin was.

"Oh yes, we could be like a team!" Tarantula agreed with Wolf's suggestion, she wouldn't refuse to work with Spider-man.

But Spider-man was more hesitant on that suggestion, "I'm...I will think about it."

Seeing as there was no more danger, Diane and Marmalade had gone back to the stage, checking on the damage. They looked up and saw the meteorite's pedestal destroyed, as the love crater meteorite was gone. And clearly Marmalade was the most distraught by this, Diane gave him a comforting pat on the back.

"I can't believe it...it's gone..." Marmalade said, still looking up at the broken pedestal, he sighed, "At least I still have the Golden Dolphin." he looked to his right and noticed the Golden Dolphin wasn't there, he looked at his left and it wasn't there either, he started to panic and turning in every angle possible, "Wait...where is it?"

"Maybe you lost it somewhere here." Diane told Marmalade.

Marmalade shook his head, "No, I'm sure I didn't." He scratched the top of his head, "Somebody might have taken it while I was distracted with that monster."

The Chief overheard their conversation. She started thinking that maybe someone did steal the Golden Dolphin, after all it was the perfect opportunity to do so, but who would do it? Her eyes locked on the Bad Guys, it was a logical explanation.

She got up from the grass, getting off the officers trying to patch her forehead, she didn't care about cleaning her blood, the Bad Guys needed to be arrested for good.

"Oh I see what's going on." The Chief said, walking over menacingly to the Bad Guys.

The Bad Guys turned at her, realizing what she meant, "Chief, are you serious?" Wolf asked the Chief, dumbfounded that she would think they would steal the Golden Dolphin, sure that was their plan, before Wolf and the Green Goblin destroyed that plan.

The Chief nodded with certitude, "I am."

"Come on, you can't possibly think that we did this." Wolf tried to reason with the Chief.

"I do think you are working with the Green Goblin." The Chief said, stopping right in front of Wolf.

"Seriously, why would we work with him?" Wolf asked the Chief, "He's a murderer!"

"The enemy of my enemy is my friend, right? Criminals work with criminals, simple as that." the Chief explained.

"Did you get your head hit so bad that you forgot what happened?" Wolf asked the Chief, getting frustrated by her accusation, "When the Governor was in danger against him, I was the first one to jump in. Not Spider-man. Not you. Not your useless eating-donuts friends. Me!"

They stared silently at each other with anger, until the Chief spoke up, "You're a great actor, Wolf. You almost sound convincing."

Spider-man walked up to the Chief, "Chief please, they've got nothing to do with the Green Goblin." He defended the Bad Guys.

"Stay out of this Spider." The Chief warned Spider-man to not get involved, she looked back at Wolf, "You might have everyone else fooled, but I've known you guys for too long, and I know you will never change."

"All the claims you're saying, you don't have any proof of them." Spider-man pointed out the lack of proof the Chief had.

Suddenly, the screens on the stage instantly transitioned to a full white screen to the gif the Bad Guys made earlier in the limousine. Everyone looked at the screen, confirming the Bad Guys certainly had something to do with the disasters in the gala.

The Chief looked back at Spider-man, "There's my proof, where's yours?"

Spider-man didn't answer, not sure what to make of this, he looked at Tarantula still in his hand, she was looking at him, embarrassed at the scene.

Just a minute later all the Bad Guys were arrested and taken inside the SUCM truck. The Chief was dragging Wolf to the truck.

"Hey, you're making a mistake. We didn't do it. I know we always say that, but this time it's actually true." Wolf tried to plead for their innocence.

"A-la-la-la-la. Can't hear you." The Chief didn't care about Wolf's words anymore, "Guilty, guilty, guilty."

The Chief threw Wolf to the back of the truck, but he still tried to get out of the situation, "Talk to Marmalade and Spider-man. We're really good now. They'll tell you." The Chief closed the truck's doors.

Thierry Margoulin was at the scene, talking over the recent events to BFC news, "There we go everyone, moral of the story? Always believe the stereotypes, and Twitter's court is always right. So be scared, be scared, scared, scared I tell you, be very scared, terrified even. Because hope never existed and we're all living in Hell."

Spider-man and Marmalade were watching the scene, even with the proof proving the contrary Spider-man didn't believe they were behind stealing the Golden Dolphin, it was too far-fetched and also he really did believe they had turned a new page.

Spider-man looked down at Marmalade, "Marmalade, we gotta do something about this."

Marmalade nodded in agreement, "You're absolutely right." He pointed a finger up, "But I've got to do it alone."

"Why?" Spider-man asked Marmalade.

Marmalade waved at Spider-man to go down, "Come here." Spider-man crouched to Marmalade's level, as Marmalade whispered to him, "Listen, you already did enough. They will only trust me."

Spider-man nodded understanding his point, "Okay."

"Stop, for goodness sake!" Marmalade shouted loud enough for everyone to hear him, everyone turned to him, "Let me speak to them. I'm-I'm sure there's been some misunderstanding."

The back doors of the truck opened as the Bad Guys saw it was opened by the Chief and she was accompanied by Marmalade.

"Ah, Professor Marmalade." Wolf was glad to see Marmalade.

"You've got five minutes. No deals this time." The Chief told Marmalade as she then closed the doors, leaving Marmalade alone inside the truck with the Bad Guys.

"Y-you have to help us." Wolf asked for Marmalade's help, "Tell 'em. Tell 'em we didn't do it."

"There, there. Of course you didn't do it. How could you?" Marmalade put a comforting hand on Wolf's paw, "After all, you're such a good boy."

But that didn't confort Wolf, he just stared at Marmalade remembering that tone of voice, those words and that gesture.

"You're such a good boy." It was what that old lady said, after he reluctantly helped back at the Good Samaritan awards.

"The shiver in my spine. The wag in my tiny tail." He knew after helping out that lady Wolf would react to those words, condemning their easy escape.

"What if we tried a little experiment, Diane?" But it didn't stop there.

"My Gala for Goodness..." He thought of...

"We'll hold on to the Dolphin until the gala." ...Every single detail to arrive here.

"Oh yeah, escort the Governor and Professor out of here." That officer, he was so familiar to Wolf, his face, that scent of his, someone close to Marmalade, Cuddles. The officer was Cuddles in disguise. He must have helped out Marmalade in stealing the Golden Dolphin.

"All eyes will be on you tonight, not me." And no one knew the true meaning of his words.

Until now.

"You...it was all you." Wolf said, finally putting everything together and realizing Marmalade was behind their arrest.

"What are you talking about, Wolf?" Tarantula asked Wolf, not understanding what he meant.

"The old lady, the Golden Dolphin, good training, that mute officer, it was all to get us here, so he could steal the meteorite and let us take the fall." Wolf explained to the others.

"Whoa. Whoa, what old lady?" Snake asked Wolf, "And why would that Guinea Pig steal the Golden Dolphin that would be given to him?"

Then they heard Marmalade starting to laugh, they looked at him, his back turned to them, his perfectly combed hair faded to a disastrous mess, he slowly scratched down the doors, leaving marks on them.

"Uh, guys, he's creeping me out." Shark admitted.

"Wait, what? What's going on?" Piranha asked, trying to turn the other way to see what was happening, "Someone turn me around."

"Well, well." Marmalade turned to the Bad Guys, "So, you finally get it."

"What?!" They all reacted at the same time, knowing that Marmalade was really behind all of this.

"You stole the Golden Dolphin?" Shark asked Marmalade.

"Uh-uh." Marmalade nodded with a huge smile, rubbing his hands together.

At the same time, further away from the gala, Cuddles had gone back to the limousine, he opened the trunk of the limousine and put it his fake officer uniform inside the trunk, he got out a case from the trunk and put it on the floor and opened it, he made sure to look around to see if there wasn't any person watching him, after confirming he was alone, he got out the Golden Dolphin under his vest and put it inside the case and closed it.

Back at the truck, Tarantula asked Marmalade, "But why?"

"Since I'm honest with you now, might as well say it." Marmalade started explaining to them his plan, "This wasn't part of my genius plan. Actually it is, but not from the beginning. I had to adapt myself to the situation, because from the beginning I wanted to steal the meteorite."

"And why the meteorite?" Snake asked Marmalade, still not understanding his goal.

"Because, it's not just a meteorite." Marmalade revealed, "It's the ultimate power source. You see, when it struck, scientists found that it emitted an electromagnetic frequency unlike anything else on Earth."

Snake chuckled, "Oh, you must be crying internally then, 'cause your ultimate power source just got destroyed by a flimsy missile."

Marmalade smiled, waving his finger at Snake, "I told you, it is not your average meteorite..."

Cuddles put the case to the limousine's trunk and then closed the trunk. He looked at the top of the limousine, watching the giant case that held the love crater meteorite inside of it. He mischievously laughed silently, silent thunder flashing right behind him.

"It remained intact, without a single scratch." Marmalade told the Bad Guys the meteorite wasn't destroyed.

"As resistant as a butt." Piranha commented with a smile.

"It's not a butt!" Marmalade angrily told off Piranha's butt joke, he then explained what he would use the meteorite for, "I'm going to harness the meteorite's power to pull off the greatest heist the world has ever seen."

"You should've eaten him when you had the chance." Tarantula told Snake.

"Yep." Snake agreed with Tarantula.

"What about that Goblin guy, what do you know about him?" Wolf asked Marmalade, wanting to know what involvement the Green Goblin had in this.

"Oh I'm sorry, do I look like I know every answer in the universe?" Marmalade asked Wolf, pointing at himself, he then shrugged, "I don't know and quite frankly I don't care, he didn't seem to target me so, meh. Just another pawn who I can shift the blame to. Just like you."

"What do you mean?" Wolf asked Marmalade for more details.

"Because you're the perfect patsies." Marmalade answered, "Come on, when people look up "bad" in the dictionary, do they see a sweet adorable guinea pig?" he made a quick cute pose and then went back to his evil genius demeanor, "No. They see you. And they always will."

"Okay, fine. But you set us up." Snake told Marmalade.

"Oh, pish-pish. Let's be honest...Evolution set you up." Marmalade corrected Snake, then he paused as he turned to Wolf, "But Wolfie here really clinched it. You fell for every one of my traps, starting with saving a helpless little old lady."

"Wolf, what's he talking about?" Snake asked Wolf.

Wolf didn't give an answer, confirming the doubts that Snake had earlier. Wolf really did turn to the good side.

"Whoops. Did I say too much?" Marmalade innocently said, and then he held his head back, "Bah! I'm just kidding. There's more!" He then reminded everyone, "Remember that cute cat video that got everyone liking you for just a second?" He paused dramatically and then revealed, "Well, Wolf wasn't the only protagonist of it."

Everyone knew who this was, they all turned to Tarantula, who just avoided eye contact with them.

"So is Spider-man involved in this too?" Snake asked Marmalade.

"I don't know." Marmalade shrugged, "Do you see him here?" He asked as he looked around as if searching for Spider-man, "You know for a hero, he sure is docile, he really got a big heart. That or he is just plain stupid."

"You will pay for this! You made me look like a fool in front of him." Tarantula told Marmalade.

"Boohoo, cry me a river." He said sarcastically, pouting, he then started jumping up and down angrily, "You know who suffered more than you? Me! You know how hard it was to work with him, with his stupid little tight suit and his rising popularity trying to take over mine?!" Then he calmed down, "But do not worry, you two will be able to make up...in prison."

"Okay I absolutely hate this Spider-guy, but it's impossible to put him in jail." Snake told Marmalade how difficult it would be to arrest Spider-man.

"And you think I generously accepted his help for no reason?" Marmalade asked back, insulted that they still don't know he had everything planned in advance, but he was happy to explain more of his genius plan, "Back there everyone saw how defensive he was towards you, even by raising his voice to the law and order of this city, but why would he protect guilty criminals? Oh, it would be so bad if those answers were published by a popular news source, which the editor-in-chief absolutely hates Spider-man and would be ready for anything to destroy his reputation." He started scratching his chin as if deep in thoughts, and without any transition he said, "Anyhoo, it will end like every fairy tale ending ever, the little piggy outsmarting the Big bad Wolf."

Wolf just looked at Marmalade with absolute rage, knowing that he got the upper-hand on them, he started growling.

Outside the truck, Spider-man's spider-sense was hitting him, something was happening inside the truck.

He walked over to the Chief, who was standing in front of the truck's back doors like a guard, "Chief, open the doors, something's happening."

The Chief shook her head, denying Spider-man's demand, "No way, I told Marmalade only 5 minutes, time nearly up and I ain't letting someone else waste anymore time to put those Bad Guys where they belong."

"You don't get it, something's happening there." Spider-man told the Chief it was serious.

The Chief sighed as she looked to the side, "Alright, fine. Let's see..."

She turned back and opened the doors, "You little pouchy-cheeked rat!" Everyone turned back and saw Wolf trying to get a bite out of the defenseless Marmalade, "I'll kill you! You hear me? You're dead! You're de-'' Wolf stopped, realizing the doors were opened and everyone was watching him.

"Help!" Marmalade gave his best victim impression, "The Big Bad Wolf is attacking me. Only a spider-like hero can save me."

"I am that hero!" The Chief told Marmalade, taking him out of the truck, "Now you're done forever, Wolf!" She told Wolf, closing the truck's door for good. She turned at Spider-man, patting his shoulder, "Thanks Spider, sometimes you can be a good help."

Marmalade was out of the truck, having a panic attack from what just happened, which was the best moment for Thierry Margoulin to ask him a question, "Professor? Any thoughts on how the Bad Guys managed to steal the Golden Dolphin amidst all the chaos caused by The Green Goblin?"

Without transition, Marmalade went to having a panic attack to being completely fine as he explained with detail, "Well, off the top of my head, perhaps it's like the Chief's theory that they were all working together, planning on how the horrible attack would go, so they would get the best window of opportunity to steal The Golden Dolphin while everyone else was distracted."

Diane watched as the truck got driven away, she just couldn't believe it, there was definitely something odd about this. She looked down at the tie that Wolf gave to her, he had written an address on it.

She turned back and looked at Marmalade, seemingly better just after avoiding getting eaten by Wolf, happy to get the whole crowd's attention. Unlike Spider-man, having his back turned to the crowd, he was just uncharacteristically standing there, his head lowered down, looking so...human.

Diane walked up to Spider-man, "Hey." She called for his attention, "You still believe someone bad can turn good?"

Spider-man looked at Diane, "I do. Always." He nodded.

That was enough for an answer for Diane, "Alright, come with me then." She walked off, taking Spider-man's arm and taking him to her car.

Later, Marmalade's limousine had arrived at his mansion, Cuddles got out of the limousine and opened the back door, letting Marmalade out.

Marmalade was clapping his hands together, "Oh Cuddles, this is so fantastic! I can't believe we're so close to pulling off the most stupendous heist in history." Cuddles waved his finger up, reminding Marmalade of the plan, "Oh right, I didn't forget. This is just the beginning. There's still much much more to do. But after the heist, things will only get easier."

Suddenly, they heard the sound of boots landing near them, they looked at the direction of the sound and saw The Green Goblin inside their mansion right in front of them, his glider was flying near him, while the damage was still visible, he had repaired his glider in the meantime.

Marmalade jumped up to Cuddles's arms, scared for his life. The Green Goblin looked up at the giant case on the top of the limousine, knowing that was where the meteorite was in, it had peaked his interest the moment he found out the meteorite had no damage from his missile. He looked back at Marmalade and Cuddles.

"Marmalade. You absolute slime." The Green Goblin spoke menancingly to Marmalade, he put his arm up showing off the pumpkin bomb he had in his hand, "Now, tell me. What's so special about that meteorite?"

Oh hi everyone!

kade32- There's definitely a good chemistry between Spider-man and Tarantula, but it is true a romance between these two characters would look like that romance from the Bee Movie between the bee and the human.

Trux-Killer- For that you'll just have to wait and see if Diane ever finds out that Angel is Spider-man.

Thank you for the reviews, I appreciate it.

A lot has happened in this chapter, face turns, heel turns, drama, forced jokes/easter eggs. That's my signature writing.

I was kind of dreading the musical scene for a long time, I don't hate the original scene or have anything against musical scenes in movies, it's just not my type of scene and I quickly lose my attention when a musical starts, but I just told myself whatever I wrote in the musical it would be cringe, so I decided to not give myself any limit and now I enjoy that scene and the adaption I wrote.

Anyway, thank you for reading and I hope you enjoyed this new chapter.

See ya!
