Chapter 22 - Adaptation and assimilation

In Yuugi's room, Atemu had taken control of his body after making his host sleep soundly in his soul chamber so that he could act freely, as he would never agree with many of his attitudes as he needed to harness that magic managed to subdue him in order to distribute the justice that the young man deserved.

Pharaoh walks to the mirror, confessing that he was ecstatic to be able to have a body again. Looking at himself in the mirror, he sighs because he doesn't have enough magic power to make his body a reflection of his true body inside the Sennen Pazuru, at least for a while until he finishes gathering his magic with the help of the item that confined it, feeling it was a matter of time.

For now, he would gladly accept his appearance, in this case his host's stature and build, though he continued to display a critical eye for his current appearance.

As for eye color, he didn't have any criticisms.

After all, for what little he remembered from when he was alive, as he looked at those orbs, amethyst was considered too precious a gem when he was alive and he confessed that he appreciated that color. It was the question of height and physical build that bothered him at the moment.

The amethyst orbs along with the ivory and untanned skin tone, as well as the height and build, reminded him of the loan of that body, with him remaining convinced in the purpose of taking that body for himself, only temporarily and whenever it was their intervention is necessary. He should return it as soon as possible, in addition to taking care of the body during the loan, because as much as it was to look after and protect his host, it didn't change the fact that it was wrong to take control of someone else's body.

Therefore, he was firm in the concept of borrowing and that he should only do this if necessary, in order to allay any guilt that arose in his mind.

Then he closes his eyes and goes into the hallway where there were two doors.

The one that gave access to his room was open because he was in control of the body while Yuugi's was open, too, and that was something that surprised him because something told him that when he took his host's body, the room of the soul of the he himself should be closed and if this did not happen, it was because Yuugi unconsciously allowed free access to his heart and mind due to his extremely gentle nature.

In fact, kindness and courtesy were too strong in him and this made Atemu realize that he should always be on the lookout for no one else to enter his host's soul chamber.

Pharaoh confessed that he wanted to know all the young man's thoughts and memories because, previously, he could only catch his thoughts when he played the pieces. What happened away from the pieces was a mystery.

Besides, he needed to know everything about his host.

So, with that decision in mind, the spirit enters the chamber and is surprised to see that it was simple but cozy, as well as being a version of the young man's real bedroom, with Atemu noticing that there were toys scattered on the floor, indicating childlike innocence that inhabited the heart of the young man, in addition to the light color revealing the purity of his heart while the environment itself comforted the spirit and was the same comfort provided by the same light that radiated in his room.

After his eyes wander through the environment that was a replica of Yuugi's room, he watches the young man sleeping soundly in bed about the effect of his magic that takes him to a world of beautiful dreams, aiming to make him comfortable because it was the least he could do for his host, in addition to zeroing and taking care of him.

Then, as if hypnotized, finding him cute while he slept with a pure and innocent countenance, Pharaoh kneels on the floor beside the bed, resting his forearms on it while watching him sleeping peacefully and with a smile in your face.

Unable to stop the movement of his hands as he was taken by unknown and intense feelings, he gently brings his hand to the sleeping young man's face and caresses it, feeling the smoothness of the satin skin to the touch, with Atemu losing himself in the intoxicating sensation that the he took it, starting to dare with his hand as he ran his hand over the innocent face of the teenager who seemed to smile at his touch, making Atemu smile in response while trying to memorize every detail of that innocent beauty that rested placidly until his fingers reach his lips Yuugi's and begin to gently outline the small and delicate lips with a finger in a gentle caress and upon noticing a slight unconscious shudder, he quickly retreats, only to hear a soft and pleasurable moan later, making the spirit delight in the sound that it left her delicate lips as she saw the younger's beautiful smile appearing on her satin lips to the touch.

Smiling in delight, as he felt intoxicated by the delicate beauty and innocence in front of him at the same time he found him cute, Pharaoh again caressed the teenager's face while leaning more and more towards his lips, wanting to decorate every detail of his face satiny to the touch and he was so intoxicated by the sensations that took him and those that were provided by touching the young man, that he arrives a few inches from the virgin lips of his host, preparing to kiss him.

However, a slight moan and a subtle movement from the minor seem to snap him out of his trance and he pulls away when he sees what he was about to do and what was wrong, in his view.

After all, the spirit was taking advantage of someone who was asleep, in addition to the fact that he didn't think it was right to steal his host's first kiss and that was aggravated by the fact that he was under the effect of his magic and the item, making him unable to consent or refuse.

Then Pharaoh walks away, twisting his fists as he assimilates that he almost stole Yuugi's first kiss as he was desolate, because as much as he felt these intense feelings for his host, he doubted that his love would ever be returned and it was enough to take his borrowed body while standing firm as he reminded himself that it was only a temporary loan and that he should pay it back as soon as possible.

Therefore, Atemu muster as much of his strength as possible to move away from the intoxicating sight, in his view, deciding that he would only enter that chamber to assimilate all his memories, knowledge and thoughts while absorbing the fact that the intense feeling and Initially incomprehensible what he felt for his host was love, with him being happy to decipher what it was while being sad because he doubted that this feeling would one day be reciprocated by the teenager, making him sigh sadly at this assumption.

In addition to memories and thoughts, Atemu also assimilated all the information from the current world to know how to deal with technology along with the other knowledge needed to get around in the current age after accessing the memories and memories of his host, since he only assimilated fragments when was sealed inside the Sennen Pazuru.

He also remembered that his physical body was injured and decided to take the opportunity to heal all his injuries because although that body showed no injuries, the Pharaoh knew that when he returned to his chamber, with Yuugi retaking control of his body, the injuries they would reappear because he was injured.

Therefore, the spirit closes its eyes and concentrates, being able to visualize the original state of the borrowed body by using the teenager's memories when he looked at himself in the mirror, before the dressings were put on.

As he assimilated the state of the bruises along with the bruises that stained the satin and pearly skin of the one he loved dearly, Atemu felt an intense fury take him, beginning to remember that he needed to punish the bastard, in his view, who had hurt a soul so pure and kind.

Continuing with his concentration, he uses his magic to heal his host's body because he couldn't bear to see the young man's face of pain and suffering. Seeing that face full of pain was torture to the spirit.

The Pharaoh ends his access to everything he wanted while brushing the feeling of guilt from his mind for having invaded the chamber of Yuugi's soul because it was necessary to enter it to know everything about the young man with tricolor hair, in order to protect him from it time when he tried to forget his actions in front of his sleeping host by touching him without his authorization, taking advantage of the unconscious state he was in, while suppressing the guilt for having taken advantage of that state.

After leaving the young man's heart, the spirit walks towards the mirror, critically observing the school uniform, deciding that he would need new clothes to wear underneath while agreeing that the garments he wore inside the item were not suitable for that time, with him agreeing to willingly subject himself to wearing current clothes, with him noticing that his old clothes were gone.

So, even if he wanted to, he couldn't summon up the clothes he wore when sealed and as he reflected on that, he decided he didn't mind changing the robes, finding those more comfortable without all those golden items.

So, he walks to the closet and proceeds to rummage through it, not messing up his clothes, looking for a robe he saw from his beloved host's memories when he wore the outfit at last year's Hallowen. The Pharaoh confessed that he liked the look as he discovered that it was made to be as close as possible to the costume of the character Edward, from the movie Edward Scissor Hands and that the costume was partially a version of the costume in the movie that the her host had watched it with her friends and that became one of her favorite movies.

After finding the outfit, he holds it in his hands and concentrates his magical power, which together with Sennen Pazuru's, makes a replica of that outfit appear under his host's uniform, with Atemu appreciating the outfit and looking at the cuffs, identifies an Ankah in each of them above the clothing, knowing that they represented the soul.

Pharaoh discovered upon concentrating that they were visible due to the fact that the union of his spirit with that of his host was too recent and that when he took control of Yuugi's body, the emergence of the Ankah was necessary to ensure the harmony of this union between them in the presence of the power of the Sennen Aitemu.

When it was no longer needed by the too much influence of the item to solidify this union, the Ankah would disappear because they would no longer be needed.

Then, before he walked away from the closet, he noticed in one of the drawers, a neck choker in the shape of a wide belt, with him looking for a few seconds at the item that reminded him of the golden collars he wore around his neck.

Smiling, the spirit decides to place the item instead of creating a magical replica while imbuing the object with its magic to make its host feel the urge to wear the item around his neck.

After all, he confessed that it was too interesting a prop to be left unattended in any drawer.

Meanwhile, near Yuugi's room, Yukiko was on top of a low building where she used to watch her friend through the skylight and witnessed everything from his desperation to find the money to pay Ushio to Atemu's release and subsequent subjugation of Yuugi so he could use his body, just as he saw the choice of clothes to wear under his friend's uniform.

She knew that top had been used as a costume in Hallowen last year after watching the movie Edward Scissorhands, with Yuugi liking the character Edward to the point of getting an outfit that was as similar as possible to what the character wore although there was some differences.

As she looked around the room, she saw Atemu approaching the mirror to analyze her outfit and who smiled approvingly after opening her school uniform coat.

In Yuugi's room, Pharaoh observed his new clothes and confessed that he didn't miss his old clothes with golden ornaments, including on his head, while he didn't understand why he used so much gold in that clothes because despite being soft and comfortable, always he found it uncomfortable because of the golden fur and because of the discomfort he felt, he had easily changed his clothes, without missing any of the previous ones.

Furthermore, he was aware that the garment was not suitable for the current era as he had analyzed his host's memories and knowledge. That was another reason to have dismissed any nostalgia he would feel for that outfit.

The Pharaoh walks to the young man's desk and finds some phone cards, taking them right away because he needed to use a pay phone for what he had planned, thanking the fact that the navigation and manipulation of technology would not be any problem for him after having assimilated everything needed to get around that world, as well as the memories and remembrances to distribute the due justice that Yuugi deserved, starting with Ushio. Afterwards, it would be Jounouchi and Honda's turn to face their fury for all the emotional, psychological and physical torments they practiced against their host.

Without making any noise, he leaves the room and descends the stairs, heading to the counter of Yuugi's grandfather's store, then starts rummaging through a pile of books.

After a few minutes he manages to find what he was looking for. It was a phone book and quickly, he turns on the smartphone light to illuminate the pages, subtracting a random sheet from a notebook while also reaching for a pen.

Promptly, Pharaoh starts looking for the Tetsuo surname on the pages, as well as the surnames Katsuya and Hiroto. When he finds them, he writes down the respective addresses and telephone numbers he found, then closing the telephone book to keep it and after doing that, folds the paper with addresses and telephone numbers, putting it in one of his pockets.

Atemu puts the device in another pocket and goes back to his room because he couldn't leave through the shop door, even if it wasn't locked.

After all, there was a bell on top of it that would ring if it was opened, with Pharaoh knowing through his host's memories that his grandfather was a light sleeper, making it impossible to walk out the door without getting his attention like that as it was in relation to the kitchen door.

After sighing, he goes up to Yuugi's room, grabbing some clothes to pile them under the bed covers, simulating that there was a body down there, as well as being able to use a little magic to change the appearance of some decorations, aiming that simulated a few strands of hair, and then fit them under the comforter, leaving only the ends out.

So if your host's grandfather came to see your grandson, he would think he was sleeping under the covers.

After being satisfied, he turns to leave when he notices a white envelope among Yuugi's books because her backpack was open.

Moved by curiosity, Atemu takes the envelope and when he opens it, he realizes that there was money, with it counting the bills, being surprised to see that he had four thousand bucks and as he thought how that amount ended up in the teenager's backpack, he realizes that the only plausible explanation was that Sugoroku somehow found out about Ushio's threat and that he decided to put the money in his backpack so that his grandson would pay Tetsuo so that he wouldn't suffer at his hands.

Smiling to himself, he tucks the envelope with the money into one of his pockets and with the skill of a tiger, climbs out of the bedroom window by jumping onto one of the branches of the tree near the house, then deftly descends to the ground, moving away towards an avenue.

After half an hour, he is satisfied with the distance from his host's house and starts looking for a pay phone, managing to find one after a few minutes and starts dialing Tetsuo's house after unfolding the paper.

On the fourth try, he hears Ushio's voice and smiles to himself as he listens to his prey talk on the phone, "Who is this?"

"It's me, Yuugi Mutou and I want you to meet me in front of the school in half an hour. I'm waiting for you."

After talking, he ends the call by placing the phone on the hook, then backing away, not knowing that Yukiko carefully followed all his movements from a distance using his special vision.
