️After discovering her newfound powers, Rachel begins to train with Caitlin, Cisco, and Wells so she can use her powers for good and not evil. Caitlin and Rachel have a heart-to-heart talk after Rachel hurts herself.

My name is Rachel Barbra Berry, at the age of three years old I lost my mother Shelby Corcoran when her car went off a cliff. At the age of six, I was adopted by Terri and William Schuester. Now after saving my best friend Barry Allen from getting struck by lightning, I was given the gift of super speed.

Now I use my speed for the great or good, to the outside world I'm just an average choir teacher, but secretly I use my powers to fight crime and find others like me.

"Well, you don't see that very offend now do you,"

Dr. Wells wheeled himself over to me still wearing his normal creepy smile on his face.

Caitlin slowly bent down to pick up her clipboard still loving over at me, while Cisco tossed his now dirty twislers in the trash.

Before was able to grab hold of my hand, my whole entire body started to vibrate uncontrollably.

"Looks like we'll going outside, grab the suit,"

Why are we going outside?

Why the hell do we need a suit for?

(Outside of Star Labs,)

I stood in Star Labs trailer wearing a really snug red suit, wondering why the hell I'm even wearing this damn thing.

"Alright, Rachel you can come on out, " said causing me to slowly walk out of the trailer.

Caitlin stood beside holding what looks like a tablet in her hands.

"You don't really believe she can run that fast, do you.," Caitlin asked looking over at me with a small frown on her face.

"Well, I believe anything is possible, and in a few minutes, maybe you will too ," said giving me a quick thumbs up.

Cisco walked over to me with a giddy smile on his face, is he always this happy?

"How does it fit," Cisco asked standing in front of me holding something in his left hand.

"It's a little snug," and it's making my compression shorts tear into my waist badly.

Cisco wrapped an arm around my shoulder leading me towards the field, causing Caitlin to glare over at Cisco.

Why is she glaring at him like that for?

"At least you will be moving so fast no one will see you. See you thought the world was slowing down girl. it Wasn't. You were moving so fast it only looked like everyone else was standing still.," Cisco said once we stopped walking. " will be monitoring your energy output, and Caitlin your vitals,"

Cool, I guess.

"Alright, so what do you do," I asked looking over at Cisco with a raised eyebrow.

Cisco laughed a little, "I make the toys, girls. Check it.," He said showing me what looks like a metal phoenix. " This is a two-way headset with a camera I modified. Typically designed to combat battlefield impulse noise, or in your case, potential sonic booms, which would be awesome.,"Cisco said patting me on the back.

Cisco smiled taking off the red helmet before he walked over to the table where sat in front of a monitor.

Caitlin walked over to me still holding onto her tablet. She looks so sad right now I wonder what's wrong.

Caitlin tapped a button on my chest before she started to type something into her tablet glancing at me from time to time.

"What," Crap she saw me staring at her, man once going Rachel.

"Nothing," I said clearing my throat while giving Caitlin a small smile. " I just noticed you don't smile that much,"

Caitlin gave me a quick stare, as she kept typing on her table.

Well, she probably hates me now, and I literally only known her not even 24hrs.

Nice work Rachel.

"My once promising career in bioengineering is now over, my boss is in a wheelchair for the rest of his life," Caitlin slowly breathed in and out before she finished. "The explosion that you in a coma also killed my husband okay? So this blank expression kind of feels like the way to go,"

Caitlin gave me one last look before she walked back over to the table.

Well, she hates me now.

"Miss. Berry, while I am eager to determine your range of abilities, I do caution restraint," said looking over at me.

I hate being fucking rushed around.

"Yeah," I said walking over to the two pedals on the ground getting into a running position.

After making sure I was in a sable running position, I looked over at , Cisco, and Caitlin breathing in and out sharply.

put on his sunglasses, Cisco stood behind me with a speed gun and hopefully not checking me out, while Caitlin stood beside looking at me and the tablet at the same time.

I looked back over to the long empty lot, before my eyes with orange lighting, before I took off running.

(Nobobys POV)

Cisco fell onto his back by the force of Rachel's run, a proud smile on his face.

just sat in his wheelchair not phased at all by what just happened in front of him, while Caitlin stared out into the field shocked about what just happened.

Rachel ran and ran with a somewhat serious look on her face, before she leaped into the air, "Woo-hoo, yeah Baby, " She said once she was back on the ground and running again.

"She just passed 200 miles per hour, man this is so fucking cool," Cisco said to a shocked Caitlin and a very happy (just can't tell) Wells.

Caitlin removed the speed binoculars still in shock, "It's not possible," She said still looking at the lot.

stared at the screen in front of him while looking at the lot from time to time.

(Back to Rachel's POV)

I was running as a small smirk formed on my face before a memory slowly started to appear in my mind.

Please not this memory.

"Mommy, why couldn't daddy come with us? why do you look worried is daddy okay?"Three-year-old me asked my mother in a worried tone.

My mom looked down at me, "Daddy fine baby he's going to meet us there. just go back to watching your videos for me okay," Mom said patting me on the head.

Three-year-old me looked down at the phone in my hands before I looked behind my seat to see the teddy bear my dad got me for my birthday.

"Rachel, just know I love you with every cell in my body okay," Mom said before she grabbed me into her arms. "I love you, Rachel. Mommy loves you so much,"

And that's when our car was forced off a cliff, and when I saw yellowing lighting running towards the woods.

I was able to force myself to focus on running again, only to run into maybe 20 water barrels straight on.

"Awww, fuck me shit, "I said holding my hand that's bent in a way it should not be bent leaning on one of the barrels.

I think I must have fainted because before I could move my world turned black.

(Star Labs, 3 hours later)

I work up back in the medical bay of Star Labs with beside.

Caitlin walked over to me as she placed a tablet in front of my face, "it looks like you had a distal radius fracture,"

What does she mean by had?

"Had,"

"It healed...in three hours," Caitlin said with a look of disbelief on her face as she looked at me.

"How is that even possible, also I'm sorry for upsetting you earlier," I said as Caitlin removed the tablet from my eyes.

Thank you so much, that light was burning my eyes.

"We don't know... yet," Caitlin said looking from the tablet to me before she walked away and towards her computer.

"Girl, you really need to learn how to stop," Cisco said holding the red helmet before he walked over to a metal table in the medbay.

Okay, this is the second time I woke up in the medical bay without my mother's (Shelby's) dress shirt.

" , What happened out there today?" said wheeling himself towards me with a hopefully concerned look on his face. "You were moving pretty well, and then something caused you to lose focus,"

I looked down at my hand which I was slowly playing with, the smile on my face slowly fading away.

"I uh started to remember something while running," The day my mother was either murdered or the crash was really not on purpose.

looked at me, while I can feel Caitlin's and Cisco's eyes on me as well.

"When I was only three years, my mother died from a car crash with me in the car as well," Cisco and Caitlin gave me a look of sadness, while gave me a blank look. "We were heading to my dad's house for some reason that day, she had this look of pure terror on her face like she was running away from someone or something," I had to close my eyes before I could even finish telling them what happened.

for the second time today took off his glasses as he kept his eyes on me, Cisco walked over to me before he placed a hand on my back.

Caitlin just looked at me with sad eyes and a broken frown.

"But what I still don't get about the car crash, is that it felt like someone literally forced us off the road that day, and uh," I said wrapping my arms around myself as I began to shake, "And I saw what looked like a red ball of lighting, but inside the lighting was a man or girl in a yellow suit, I think they killed my mom but made it look like an accident,"

"My real father Leroy Berry was able to come to visit at the police stage where Joe West kept me in his office before he was arrested due to the fact my mother divorced him because they would fight badly even when I was a baby," Don't break down in front of them Berry stay strong.

I looked down at the ground letting a tear fall down my face.

"I spend years of therapy, years of Joe and his other coworkers telling me what I saw that night was just in my head, what I saw that night was impossible," What did I expect though Iwas three?

"So what if the person that killed my mother is just like me," I said whipping my eyes quickly.

laughed placing his glasses back on his eyes. "Well, I think I can say unequivocally you are one of a kind."

"Can I talk to Rachel for a few minutes, you know girl to girl," Cisco and Wells just stare at Caitlin crossing their arms. "Leave now or I make you two watch the notebook for 24hrs again,"

Cisco and Harrison quickly left the medical bay with a look of pure terror on their faces.

Why does she wanna talk to me?

"You know I don't remember anything of my mother. Just her eyes and her voice that's it, nobody wants to tell me what she was like," I whispered when the doors to the medical bay were closed. "Ever since her death, I have been scared to get into another car,"

"And that's normal Rachel, you were three years old when the accident happened to you, I would be the same way if it was me," Caitlin said sitting down next to me on the bed.

"Yeah, then tell that to Joseph West, his team, every fucking body that thinks I'm acting like a damn child," I whispered bitterly towards Caitlin before I slowly started to take a few deep breaths. "Sorry, didn't mean to snap at you,"

Caitlin placed a hand on my shoulder which caused her to hiss in pain a little, but she kept her hand on my shoulder.

"It's fine, really. make it your payback for what happened earlier today," Well you totally had the right to snap at me since I did ask you a personal question.

"Is it bad I wish you never saved my life, Caitlin, don't get me wrong I really do appreciate you saving my life, it's just I have been trying to see my mother since I was four to the point Terri and Will had to put me in a mental hospital until I was able to think right,"

Caitlin grabbed a hold of my arm rolling up the Star Labs sleeve revealing all the scars from when I used to cut.

Caitlin slowly started to trace her finger over my scars, showing off her engagement Ring.

"Those thoughts are normal for someone who suffered what you suffered Rachel. And I'm happy you are still alive Rachel because it shows how good of a fighter you really are," Caitlin said causing me to look over at her.

Caitlin and I stared into each other eyes for a while, that was until Cisco decide to ruin the damn moment.

Caitlin and I quickly withdrew ourselves from each other, looking over at Cisco blushing.

"Uh did I interpurt something right now, because I can leave and tell Iris that your busy," Cisco said laughing at our faces.

"Not needed Cisco, I was just about to call Iris anyway. Uh bye Caitlin bye Cisco,"I said quickly leaving the medical bay not looking at Caitlin at all.

When I entered the cortex, Iris and her new boyfriend walked over to me with bright smiles on their faces.

"I see Rachy has a new girlfriend, and she's the one that saved your life," Eddie said fist bumping Iris before they both took off running.

She's not my girlfriend, I have only known her for not even 24hrs.

"She's not my girlfriend guys, she probably doesn't even like girls nor does she know about me stop laughing at me assholes I will tell Joe about your guy's relationship,"

Well, I wasn't expecting myself to make Rachel and Caitlin have this much chemistry until maybe chapter three but uh too late to change it now. Can you guys tell they have chemistry though?
