Year 7
2 years has passed and the earth sphere has arrived on much darker times than usual.
The federation has now been dealing with several problems regarding enemy forces, as 2 years ago, the Gryps Conflict started between the Titans and the AEUG, with the latter being victorious, but not long after those events, Neo Zeon surfaced themselves. The United Lunar Empire Giganos also showed up soon after, declaring independence from earth as they took over most of the moon, having the goal to rebirth humankind. This werent the only problems though, as among the chaos, Mysterious mechanical machines known as the Jovian Lizards started to appear around the earth sphere, which the supposed goal of mindless destruction. But amongst all of this threats, the most feared one is the Andromeda Country, a powerful space nation of unknown origins but who seem to be mostly targetting earth, sending out their Biotechnological insectoid like aliens to fight, but it seems that the Andromeda and Radam have some sort of conflict as the two forces seem do have small conflicts around the Orbital Ring
Earth is also not safe from trouble aswell, besides the existence of the noises, Another threat ,that used to exist, was the Zonders, mechanical machines who were made when a human is infected with "Zonder Metal", though as of recently, the Zonder attacks seemed to have calm down thanks to the efforts of GGG.
But now, a new story is about to start, a story that shall change combine all forces of the earth sphere into a mighty conflict.
An alarm clock started ringing around a blue colored room as the sun's light started going inside thanks to the half open blinds on the window. A small groan is heard as a teenage boy started to raise his upper body from the comfort of his bed, this was Ikki Kiryu, your average high schooler, nothing special about him in any regard, besides the fact he had survived an entire tragedy 2 years ago, but that was behind him now.
The young man soon got up as he stretched his body a bit before leaving his room, he started heading over to the kitchen before walking towards the fridge, he looked down to see a sticky note attached to it before removing it, it was from his mom.
"Had to leave early, make your lunch and go to school, then come back, might return later tonight, love you! - Mom"
Ikkk simply sighed before placing the note on the counter, he soon opened the fridge and took out the milk, he then went over and opened a cabinet up, taking out the cereal from the inside as he soon went over to get a bowl. After a while, ikki went over to the living room, now with a cereal bowl in his hand as he sat down, grabbing the remote and turning on the tv, eating his cereal in the process as he stared at the screen as he watches the news...not alot to say other than it was the news.
Ikki soon got up as he started getting ready for school, and after a few moments of dressing up and adjusting himself, the boy was ready for school. He exited his house before locking the door behind him, grabbing his bike and soon heading out. He pedaled his way around town but he didn't seem to be going to school, nope, he was heading somewhere else, he needed to get someone ready for school aswell...
The boy soon arrived at a small motor shop, titled "Kusanagi Motors", they seemed to be closed, but Ikki didn't seem to care, as he quickly went over and started banging at the iron gate, yelling out for someone in the process. "Come on, Kenji! We are gonna be late if you keep on being like this!"
Ikki could only hear a small crash coming from inside as the boy soon sighed while crossing his arms and waiting a bit. Soon enough, he turned around and noticed someone exiting the store, it was a boy the same age as him, being 17, he looked alot more...rough than Ikki, having brown spiky hair alongside some sideburns on the side, he also seemed to be wearing the same uniform as Ikki. "Jeez! Can't ya let me sleep for a bit more?"
"I'd say yeah but i didn't want to go to school alone, so hey, you might as well make me some company." The more softer boy let out a playful smile towards the other guy, Kenji, as the teen groaned in the process. The two of them started to head out, Ikki now walking as he carried his bike, the two stood quiet for a while before the the black haired boy decided to talk. "So...excited for the hyper motor bike race in a few days? I supposed you have been training for it?"
"Duh! Of course! Why wouldn't i be! This will finally be the moment i settle things with Kyo for sure!" Kenji simply replied with a small bit of anger on his voice, though you could tell it wasnt that much. Ikki lets out a chuckle in the process as he smiled towards his friend.
"You guys are partners, ya know? Maybe you should tone down your rivalry with him a bit." The boy simply said to his friend only to receive a small scoff as a reply, he...wouldn't say he was expecting anything else. "Come on! I ain't letting the guy hug the spotlight forever! Just you wait! Once the day comes, i will be on the top, way more than him!"
As the two boys talked, they soon heard something, upon turning around, they noticed a convenience store being ransacked by a small biker gang, circling around the workers outside of the store as they seemed ready to attack, on which they did as the area broke out in a full out fight. Kenji gritted his teeth as he started to head towards this scene. "Well then, those assholes seemed to be ready to get an ass whooping!-"
Before the guy could go forward, he was stopped by Ikki, as he seemed to be curious about something that was about to happen. "Wait, Kenji! Watch..." He said before pointing at a new arrival to the scene.
The two new faces seemed not to be apart of the gang, one of them was a large build man with a shaved head alongside wearing buddhist clothing, and with him was a small guy, he seemed to be just a bit older than Kenji and Ikki, but only by an year, he had black hair with a few parts pointing upwards as he wore a ragged cloth over his body. The two high schoolers could feel like those guys werent normal...
Suddenly, the small guy was hit in the head by one of the members with a metal bat, this caused the high school boys to get ready to head forward but suddenly, they heard the guy speak up, and...he seemed fine. "Damn, that hurt."
"How are you still standing...?" The grunt asked, shocked at the fact the boy was still fine after a hit like that. Soon, the boy turned around to reply as he now had a smirk on his face alongside a somewhat cocky attitude. "The world's a mess these days. Wander too far from cities and you won't be able to find any shelter or food."
"S-so what?"
"So that's why we gotta play nice and pay in full. Or else..." The boy got close to the thug, seemingly slightly more aggressive. "Stores won't be able to stock riceballs anymore, duh!"
He then decked the grunt in the face, causing them to fall on the ground. This scene definitely surprised the two high schoolers watching, especially Kenji who quickly got excited over all of this, was he got even more excited when the rest of the gang started to approuched the boy. "Yoooooo Ikki! It will become an all out brawl, hey, how about we just watch it a tiny bit?"
"Or maybe we should NOT and go to school, already, you know how the others will feel if we are late, well, mostly me since for you it's kind of the norm." Ikki replied in a joking manner as he grabbed Kenji by the arm, dragging them towards school as the sounds of the fight are heard, though...they sounded more so one sided, poor thugs...
School day was basically the same as always for Ikki, nothing new happens, he usually stays alone or is dragged by Kenji to do something, mostly to annoy his friend Tsubaki but Ikki always got out at the last minute, leaving Kenji to usually take the blame by himself, and that results in some...hilarious consequences to the guy. But there wasn't anything new that happens around town, there is of course the Zone but it stayed the way it did for a long time now.
Finally, School time was over as most of the students had started making their way home. Ikki was also ready to head out but before he did, a voice started ringing on his head
"Wake up..."
The boy held onto his head as he groaned at this situation, holding onto his bicycle before starting to head out to his house. The cracking sounds of lightning are heard as the boy looked at the sky...it was now heavily cloudy as it sometimes glew up from the electricity. "It might rain today...a heavy one for that manner."
As the boy made his way home, he quickly stopped on his tracks as the voice once again came onto his head.
"Wake up..."
"What...what the hell?" The boy started questioning what was going on before turning over to the sky...he noticed something falling from it towards the ground. Upon getting a closer look, or at least the best he could, Ikki could finally recognize what the machine was...a getter robo D2
The boy quickly started pedalling towards the location the unit had fallen...it had falled on a destroyed part of the town, this part was basically a massive junkyard, it said the reason they never fixed it was because of budget reasons, and Ikki wasnt gonna question it, but now, the place was usually filled with gangs and dangerous people alike. The boy arrives at the location as he placed his bike aside, running forward as he saw the robot...only to also see the Cloaked boy from the convenience store jump inside of it with the help of the bald guy, alongside that...a strange creature started to descend from the sky, it seemed to have several metallic tentacles alongside a huge lower body, with several eyes around the front, the upper body was pretty small in comparison to the lower but still seemed tall, it's head was a single mono eye.
The scene then cuts to a new location, the Saotome institute, as we check inside of a control room. Besides the heavy amount of scientists working on the computers, there was a familiar face among them...he had black hair while the front of it was longer, he also seemed to have a few scars on his face, the man was wearing a white lab coat as he just watches the main screen of this room, this man is Jin Hayato, as he seemingly slightly nervous about something
"There is someone sitting on the cockpit! Put him on the screen!" One of the scientists said as the main screen, which previously shown details of the machine, now shown...a can of coke and a riceball covering it. "What the!?"
"Oops, cant see anything with this." A voice said from across the screen as the objects were soon moved to the side, revealing the cloak boy, now wearing a yellow helmet on his head as he stared at the scientist. "There we go."
Hayato's face quickly went to shock as he looked at the boy's face, many memories flowing on the man's head as he could only say a few words in the process. "I recognize that face...!"
"Who are you??? Report immediately!!"The scientists asked towards the boy, who quickly responded to the guy. "Jeez! Keep your shirt on, will you???"
The boy started to drink the soda as the guy was complaining about how the Getter wasnt a toy and that he should leave, but...the boy didn't care about any of that, he once again turned to the screen as he simply replied to the man. "Yeah yeah, don't worry, i'll keep the getter safe! But most importantly...is Hayato Jin there?"
"Why you brat, listen here!-" Before the man could finish, the scientist was moved to the side as Hayato came to the screen, staring towards the boy as he decided to communicate. "Im jin...just who the hell are you?"
Meanwhile on the battlefield, the creature kept on descending downwards to attack the Getter Robo...the machine's eyes lit up as he started to get up from the ground, surprising both the bald buddhist and Ikki, but a new sound started to surprise both parties...
From one of the piles of wreckage, two familiar reptilian like creatures jumped out from it, their red eyes staring towards the D2 as they roared towards the machine, catching the pilot by surprise.
"What the!??! What are those invaders doing here?!??!" The pilot asked as the buddhist stared at them, having a small theory of what was happening.
"They might have detected the Getter Robo and think of it as a threat! Be careful, Takuma!" The bald guy yelled out towards the robot, as we discover that the pilot's name was Takuma. Meanwhile, Ikki was watching all of this unfold, he wasnt sure how to hell, or if he could help...he was just frozen by the sight of the invaders.
"Whatever! I will take care of all of these bastards without breaking a sweat! Takuma replied as he quickly started moving the D2 towards the invaders, sending a punch onto of them, sending it onto a pile of junk. The second invader quickly jumped into the air before making it's way down onto the Getter Robo, piercing the machine with it's claws and soon enough, it's teeth.
The D2 quickly grabbed onto the creature and tossed them onto the ground before stomping on them, only for the parasite to split up to dodge the damage and start to reform infront of the robot. "Okay! This guys are a bit more troublesome that they look..."
Back at the Saotome Institute, the situation was also a bit intense, as all the personal inside the control room were trying their best to understand the situation. "That kid will die out there, sir! Even on a smaller scale, those invaders seem to be tearing onto the D2!"
Hayato just stared at the livefeed of the fight...he didnt seem concerned nor scare, but infact...deep down, he was confident that the boy piloting the D2 would be able to survive this clash, or at least, a bit more so that it was ready to launch.
The fight between the invaders was getting more intense, especially with the fact the giant mechanical creature started attacking aswell, firing lightning towards the D2, not only hitting the machine but causing some small explosions to happen aswell. A small dust cloud was made before the D2 appeared once more, now having it's wings open.
The two invaders quickly sprouted tendrils and launched them towards the Getter, as some warped around the machine's arm, the other tendrils stabbed onto it aswell, causing the machine to be immobile. Inside of it, Takuma as cleary struggling with all of this. "D-damnit!"
Ikki kept on watching this in shock...he wasn't sure what to do...he wasn't sure HOW to react at this scene, but then...the voice once again returned to his head, this time, saying a bit more.
"Wake up...Rasen..."
This made Ikki understand a bit...he soon started to step forward towards the fight as he started onto it, with a bit of fear and hesitation on his eyes but...courage aswell. The buddhist looked over at the high schooler and quickly panicked, trying to go over to them. "Hey you! Get out of here, you will get killed!"
"I...I know but...i need to see of this will work." That was all Ikki said to the guy before taking a deep breath as he then yelled out from the top of his lungs.
"WAKE UP! RASEN!!!"
The ground infront of Ikki suddenly bursted apart, catching the attention of the invaders, the mechanical monster and even the Takuma, who was just surprised by all of this. "The hell!?!?!"
The people on the institute were also surprised by this, already trying to figure out what was happening on the area. "S-sir! Something new has joined the battlefield! It seems to be...a robot."
The last part was that got Hayato's interest, a machine? But what could it be? Was it GGG's Gaogaigar? Perhaps Mazinger Z was finally back? But all of his assumptions were wrong, as once the dust settled, it revealed a totally new machine...
Ikki stared at this machine...it was the same mech that protected him back at the Zwei wings incident, it seemed the same aswell, Orange and white colors, golden bracelets on it's arms, red drills, masked face, everything seemed the same as before. The robot slowly kneeled down infront of Ikki as it's chest started opening up, a small staircase stabbed onto the ground infront of the bot as it lead inside of the robot.
The high schooler quickly rushed up the stairs and inside of the robot, inside of it, was a black space with a blue circle on the middle, wired gloves were hanging from the ceiling of the room as Ikki slowly made his way onto the circle, standing ontop of it as he placed the gloves on. the room suddenly brightens up as it then...turned into the vision of the outside. As while that happened, The machine's yellow eyes gained black pupils.
One of the invaders let go of the D2 and rushed forward to the new robot, but was quickly stopped by the machine turning around and punching it. Ikki watched from the inside as he realized something...the movement he made inside of this cockpit would be replicated by machine.
"Right...let's go, Rasen."
The machine, now titled Rasen, started rushing forward and helping out the D2, pushing it to the side to avoid another lightning strike as it then punched the other invader that was still attached to the Getter.
"Okay pal! I have a few questions! Who are you!??!" Takuma asked towards the new robot as Rasen turned towards the D2. Ikki stood quiet for a bit as he decided to answer the guy.
"It doesn't matter! What we need right now is a plan!"
"Yeah, yeah! You take care of those two, while i go after the big fish!" Takuma replied as he took his attention to the giant beast, Rasen seemed to nod as it then took aim at the two invaders, who were now standing side by side, ready to attack.
Meanwhile, Hayato was watching all of this, shocked at this scene as he didn't know how to react...but he knew what he needed to do, he commanded one of the scientists to once again make contact with Takuma as the man asked the boy a question. "Hey, kid, What's your name?"
"My name? Is Takuma Nagare..."The boy replied from inside the D2, who was slowly flying up into the sky to face the bigger threat.
Hayato's eyes widen up, no...it couldn't be, that's impossible!!! He needed confirmation, he needed NOW! "What is your father's name??"
"My old man's name..." The D2 picked up more speed as Takuma's noise started to bled, but he still replied to Hayato with a yell."...IS RYOMA NAGARE!!!!"
The Getter flied up into the air as the giant mechanical beast followed after. Ikki watches as he quickly returned his attention to the Invaders, ready to fight against the two of them. "Okay Rasen...please, give me your strength!!!"
The parasites lunged forward once more, both of them ready to attack at the same time but Rasen quickly jumped out of the way, causing their attacks to miss. One of the invaders launched tendrils while another one charged forward yet again, turning their arms into swords in the process.
Rasen quickly grabbed the tendrils before they could stab onto it's body as tossed it aside alongside the invader attached to them. Meanwhile, the machine braced itself as the sword invader clashed with Rasen's golden bracelets as Ikki stared around at the cockpit, trying to think on what to do now as he then stared at the gloves, he took a deep breath as he concentrated a bit...it definitely was hard when he was on impending danger but it had to work.
Then, slowly but surely, Rasen's bracelets started to spin as the machine quickly moved it's arms upwards, unlocking itself from the conflict it had with the invader before punching the parasite on the torso, sending the creature onto a wreckage pile, with a painful roar being followed soon after.
The other invader quickly regained themselves as they started to change shape, turning into a winged creature as it soon took fight, roaring towards Rasen as the mech aimed both it's arms forwards, the bracelets still spinning, Ikki gulping in the process.
"Hope this works..."
The boy closed his eyes as the bracelets from Rasen's arms fired out towards the invader, as while one bracelet pierced the creature through the chest, the other one pierce it through the head, ending that invader for good.
"W-wow...i did that???" Ikki seemed in shock at the attack he had just performed as the bracelets soon returned onto Rasen's arms, but victory didnt last long as the mech was jumped by the remaining invader from the back, who pierced their teeths onto the machine.
Ikki groaned in pain as he realized something...what Rasen felt, he felt it aswell, it wasnt anything more than just feeling the pain but still, it hurted. He then concentrated once again through the pain as the red spikes on the robot's back sprouted into action, piercing the invader all over alongside bringing it far away from the machine.
That attack didn't necessarily kill the invader like what the last attack did, but it was enough to damage it greatly. The parasite roared in pain as it slowly stood up and started regenerating from the blow, causing Ikki to panic a bit as he once again took a breather.
"One attack...one attack is all i need to win this."
That was all the boy said as he clenched his left hand into a fight, the movement being mimicked by Rasen in the process. The left arm bracelet started spinning alongside the spikes on the back as the mech started charging up an attack.
The invader roared before lunging forward once more, Rasen followed soon after, dashing forward with a punch ready to be delivered, and soon enough, both entities clashed together...with Rasen punching through the invader's entire body, leaving almost nothing in the process.
Ikki blinked as he looked back to see if the invader had survived...and it surely didn't, The boy let out a shaky smile before Rasen's cockpit turning red, causing the boy to panic a bit. "H-huh!?!?! What is going on?!?! Did i screw this up?!?!"
Before anything was answered, Ikki was launched out of the Cockpit and into the ground below. The boy groaned in pain the buddhist, who was previously on a safe spot so he didn't die from the fight, came running to help out. "Hey! Is everything alright?"
"Y-yeah, im all - Ow - good..." The boy responded as he then heard a sound...the sound of an explosion. The high schooler and buddhist soon looked towards the distance to see a large explosion on the sky happening.
"Oh! Which one of them was taken down??" The bald guy asked as he seemed a bit excited about this, Ikki just looked at all of this as he blinked a bit...that must be the result of the fight between the giant beast and the Getter Robo.
"Well, if it was Takuma, im sure he is fine, that guy is as hard to kill as a cockroach!" The guy kept on saying as his face turning into a surprised expression, the high schooler watched as he looked at the sight aswell...there wasnt one Getter robo descending from the sky...but two of them, the new one seeming to be alot more agile and thinner than the D2. Ikki just...wasnt sure how to handle all of this as he started to slowly back away while the other guy was amazed at that sight.
The boy was now...running out of that place, several thoughts running through his head, each one more confusing than the rest, what has just happened??? How did he survive all of this?!?! But most importantly...what was Rasen?...He wasnt sure about all of this and he simply decided to try and walk back home, to try and regain his spirits...to understand the situation he was placed upon.
"Master, master, master!"
"Speak."
"Rasen has restarted it's normal functions! It has awoken!"
"...i see, so it has finally returned, huh? Good...very good."
"Indeed indeed indeed! So! What shall we do now!"
"We shall wait and see...see if the god hunter still has it's strengths."
