The Fate of Revan or,

The Long Road

by: Winter Arani

Revan stepped up to the landing platform. She was ready to embark on her final journey,

the journey to the edge of the stars. The battle for the fate of the galaxy was over...

for now. Malak was dead. She had killed him herself, the apprentice that turned on her.

The Ebon Hawk was hers. Its crew had left. SHe breathed a deep breath then stepped

onto the platform.

"Revan," a deep voice spoke behind her. She turned around. Two people and two droids were

standing there. She recognized them as Carth Onasi, a soldier with the Republic, Canderous

Ordo, faithful Mandalorian, HK-47, the assassin droid, and T3-M4, the quirky little astromech

droid.

"We are going with you," Canderous spoke up," You are the greatest leader we have served."

"I thought we've been through this already," Revan spoke softly, as if to herself.

"You know that we would follow you to the edge of the galaxy," Carth said," Whereever that may

take you. Besides, you might need a skilled pilot to take you there." Carth gave her a small smile

that tugged at the upper corners of his mouth, gazing at her fine features. He did not know how, or,

why, or when he fell in love with her. He just knew that he did. That he wanted to be with her.

She went over in head again and again as to why she shouldn't have them along. Then it slowly gave

way to why she should have them. The company might be useful on the long road ahead of her.

"It willl be alright I guess," she said slowly," Come aboard."

The four followed her up the platform, getting settled into thier designated 'areas'.

"Carth, set a course for Adumar," Revan said as she entered the cockpit.

"Aye, Captain," he said as he punched in the hyperspace coordinates," Setting course for Adumar." They could feel the landing thrusters

reverse, as they climbed higher and higher. Ahead of them, they could the Coruscant skyline.

"Entering sub-light," Carth continued. It was half an hour before they would be out of the Coruscant atmosphere.
