Miraculous Adventure in Joey Drew Studio.

Chapter 4 pt 4: Colossal Wonders of Sorrows.

~}i{~

Team Psi just stared at the Mechanical Boris in horror, their Boris especially.

The Mechanical Boris lifted the first car with Adrien, Marinette, and the Kwamis still inside. The cyborg then flung the car, along with the other two connected cars, across the ballroom. The passengers screamed as the cars flew threw the air before they collided with the ground and ejecting the individuals inside.

As Team Psi scurried into standing positions (or flying in Markov's case), the Twisted Alice Alice cackled, "Meet Borkis! I made him from whatever was leftover from all the Boris that I've collected and made him into the perfect weapon for your destruction, Henry!"

"Tikki! Spots On!" Adrien shouted before Tikki was pulled into the earrings. Now he was Mister Bug yet again.

"Plagg! Claws Out!" Marinette shouted before Plagg was pulled into the ring. Now she was Lady Noire yet again.

Norman quickly moved in front of Kim, Max, Markov, and Boris to try to protect them from this Borkis.

As Borkis charged at Team Psi, all of whom scurried away from him, Twisted Alice Angel cackled into the speakers, "And this time the Ink Demon isn't going to be here to help. There's no escape." Borkis ran into the organ as everyone dodged the cyborg. Twisted Alice laughed before she shouted, "Borkis! Tear them apart! Leave nothing! But leave the Boris and the Magic Jewellery intact for me! I want those!" Boris shuttered that the last bit as Borkis lifted a wooden box before throwing it at the heroes and Norman. They easily dodged the oncoming object.

Boris quickly drags Max and Kim to a sturdy looking wooden box. Markov easily followed. The cartoon wolf just wanted them out of Borkis' line of sight.

Borkis threw another object, but this time it hit close to where Max, Kim, Markov, and Boris. Luckily, the box they were hiding behind took the hit, but the box broke into pieces upon impact. Turns out there was an Ink Maker inside. Kim noticed that the dial on the Ink Maker was set to a mug before he asked, "What's this thing doing here?"

Max pushes his glasses when he whispered back, "No idea, but it's a little convenient that it's here." As the battle between Borkis and the Heroes (plus Norman) continued, the small group glanced at each other Kim twisted the dial until the image of a pipe wrench appeared. "Kim, you aren't thinking about..." Max said as he followed the taller teen's sightline. The battle at hand. Max gripped the taller's arm with his left hand when he said in a hushed tone, "Don't even try! Besides, there isn't any Thick Ink to use to make the Ink Maker work!" Morkov and Boris agreed on that.

That was when Borkis ran right into a wall close to where the group was, courtesy of Mister Bug's yo-yo. Borkis' metal chest opened a bit before he seemed to start hacking up. A few coughs later a glob of Thick Ink was forced out of Borkis' chest before the metal plating closed. He then charged back into the battle.

Kim, Max, Boris, and Markov just stared at the Thick Ink as it sat where it fell.

Max pinched the bridge of his nose when he said, "We should stop questioning the environment of this place." Markov agreed as Boris gave the techie a sympathetic pat on the back.

Kim quickly darted for the Thick Ink and tossed it into the Ink Maker. He quickly turned the handle of the Ink Maker and then a pipe wrench popped out of the machine with a ding. Kim picked up the tool and said, "I'm helping, you guys stay put." And with that, the tall teen charged into battle.

This Akuma was... Weird... Like it was playing a game of tag or keep away with the Temporary Heroes...

"There is a good chance that Hawkmoth is leading us into a trap," Mitsubachi told the others as they lingered on one of the roofs.

On another rooftop, about three buildings away was the Akuma, Catalyst. When she realized that the heroes weren't following, she stopped and turned around to see where they were.

Drak-Kon rubbed his chin when he asked, "Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't this the Akuma that gave Hawkmoth a power boost for that Hero's Day mass Akumatization?" When he got a confirmation from the other heroes, the Dragon Hero then asked, "So... Why did Hawkmoth Akumatized her when they're not planning on using her power?"

Virperion thought back to that day before he said, "Perhaps whoever Catalyst is under that Akuma, might be Mayura." He looked to the other heroes when he said, "As far as we know, she's the only one who's been willing to help Hawkmoth in his plans."

Madame Emerald then asked, "But why Akumatize her rather than use the Peacock Miraculous? That would've certainly make us want to follow her."

Horseshoe was the one to say, "The Peacock Miraculous is still damaged, so that must be the reason why they are using an Akuma rather than the Peacock Miraculous." The younger heroes had to admit that the older hero was making some sense. That also meant that whatever Hawkmoth had a plan he needed Mayura to be able and ready to act, whatever that may be.

Yup, the temporary heroes were going to proceed with caution, and their respective weapons ready to be used. They are certainly not going to be taking any chances. Viperion already said that he'll give them the heads up if it is a trap.

~}i{ Inside the Studio }i{~

"Shit!" Lady Noire said as she, Mister Bug, Norman, and Kim leapt away from Borkis as he started flailing about trying to hit them.

This cyborg seemed to have some kind of power source that just kept him going and going, no matter how many hits he took. Yes, he was taking a lot of damage from the strikes from the attacking members of Team Psi, however... They have been taking just as much damage as they've been giving...

Norman's left shoulder was dislocated. Mister Bug's ankle got twisted, Lady Noire could tell by the way he was flinching when he lands on that leg. Borkis managed to break Kim's left arm, that was something that they had to fix as soon as this fight was over before something worse happens. And Borkis managed to grab Lady Noire by the braid and flung her around trying to hit the others like a flailing mac... THAT HURT DAMMIT! She had to have the braid cut off to get out of that one. Now Lady Noire's hair, or what remained of it, hung over her shoulders that was just able to touch the top of her chest and she was aching all over.

They needed to end this fight, and soon. Kim's arm needed to get into a stable cast and the longer they have to fight Borkis, the higher the chances that Kim's arm won't be able to heal properly.

Luckily, a few sparks were flying off the mechanical cartoon wolf. They had to be close to beating Borkis now! Right?

Max, Boris, and Markov watched helplessly from behind the Ink Maker. The three wanted to do something, now more than ever. The fighters of Team Psi were badly hurt. Max was worried about Kim's arm, which needed to be fixed and soon. The techie glanced at Markov and Boris as they glanced at him. This time around they were going to help out, whether the others want them too or not.

Lady Noire and Mister Bug were in a bind. It was tempting as hell to just use their abilities, but they only had two snacks left for the Kwami each so they had to save those abilities for life and death situations. But holy hell was this starting to turn into one.

Borkis took a step closer as the attacking members of Team Psi readied their respective weapons, prepared for the next attack.

Suddenly, a wide piece of plywood smacked Borkis right over the head. The board broke into pieces upon impact, but it seemed to do some damage to the mechanical monster.

"Boris!" the attacking members exclaimed in shock when they realized what happened. Boris looked at the broken board before he waved at his teammates.

Borkis was sparking intensely as he grabbed Boris by the wrist and then literally flung him towards the wall. The cartoon wolf almost collided with Markov, but the AI was able to bearly avoid the flying wolf. Boris slammed against the wall before falling to the ground.

"I told you to save the Boris for me!" The Twisted Alice Angel snapped at Borkis through the speakers. The mechanical toon didn't give much of a response before he twitched as more sparks flew off of his body.

Lady Noire tightened her grip on her staff. Thing were getting worst, even with all the damage to Borkis... That means... 'Cataclysm might be the only option to defeat this thing!' the female cat hero thought as she and Mister Bug launched another attack as Norman, Kim, and Markov rushed to Boris' aid. That should bring some ease to her but... Borkis is, or was, a living thing... Once a person with a life, personality, loved ones, and dreams of the future... Lady Noire couldn't use Cataclysm on Borkis!

Max quickly pushed up his glasses before he went back to cobbling together what he was making as fast as he could with one working hand. He quickly glanced at the Heroes as they continued to fight Borkis. Max bit his lip as he returned to his task.

~}i{ Outside the Studio }i{~

When the Temporary Heroes learned that Catalyst was leading them somewhere, they expected a trap... NOT Hawkmoth in the flesh!

Wait... Why was the big baddie outside his lair? And why the complicated "lure the heroes in" plan? What the hell is going on?

The Heroes glance at each other before Bunnyx asked Hawkmoth in a somewhat threatening/confused matter, "Alright, Hawkie, what's the sitch(1) with you?"

~}i{ Inside Joey Drew Studios }i{~

"SHIT!SHIT!SHIT!SHIT!" Mister Bug muttered under his breath as Norman screamed in pure pain before Borkis chucked the Projectionist to the side. The current Ladybug Holder stunned Borkis with a fling of his yo-yo before they scurried over to Norman's side. Kim, Markov, and Boris were already there, looking over the Projectionist. As Borkis sparked violently as the Heroes were at Norman's side.

"Crap!" Lady Noire got out when they saw the condition of Norman's leg, which was clearly broken. The Heroes looked at the sparking Borkis before Lady Noire told Kim and Norman, "Stay put! Mister Bug and I well take care of Borkis!" Then she and the Ladybug wielder leapt back into battle. The four looked on in worry as the hero did.

Despite the sparks and the twitching Borkis was still attacking hard.

Max glanced up from his hiding spot to survey the situation, and quite frankly... It was bad! He then looked at what he made before he took a deep breath. Max was hoping that it will work.

~}i{ Outside the Studio }i{~

"You want us to WHAT!?" Madame Emerald exclaimed in shock. None of the other Heroes could blame her, and, to be honest, their reactions were the same as her. They couldn't believe what they had just heard from the villain that was terrorizing Paris for over a year.

"Must you shout?" Hawkmoth asked after taking his hands away from his ears. He was expecting them to be surprised, but what he didn't expect were their verbal reactions to his request.

"Can you freaking blame us!?" Madame Emerald shouted in disbelief. She then snapped, "Do you know HOW much grief you put Paris through?! How much pressure you added to the daily lives of the citizens?! Do you not know just How much you're hated in Paris?! And now you've got the gulls to think that YOU have any right to ask US for help?!"

That was when Drak-Kon put in, "She's got a point. Which makes me ask the question, why should we help you? Heck, the only thing I'm sure we're thinking of is ripping that Miraculous right off your chest. So again, why should we help you?"

Mitsubachi then said as she readied her spinning top, "Meaning that you should give us as many reasons as to why we shouldn't wipe the floor with you and why we would want to help you in whatever it is you want." The Bee Holder wanted to get straight to the point since there was no reason to beat around the bush so to speak, that was something the Dragon Holder liked about her.

Hawkmoth touched the Miraculous on his collar. He knew what he was going to do... He had to... "I... Want to make a trade... You... You help me with two things and I'll... I'll relinquish mine Miraculous and the Peacock Miraculous."

Horseshoe, Viperion, Drak-Kon, Bunnyx, Mitsubachi, and Madame Emerald glanced at each other in a look of disbelief. What the Hell did they just hear?! Hawkmoth was willing to give them the two Miraculous he had just to help him with two things?! Just what the hell does Hawkmoth need their help with if he was willing to do THAT?!

~}i{ Inside Joey Drew Studios }i{~

Things just keep getting WORSE!

How the HELL could Borkis still be able to move and still have that much power even after all that damage! Borkis was sparking and twitching from the damage but he didn't seem like he was going to stop anytime soon.

Mister Bug and Lady Noire needed to beat him soon! The Ladybug Holder HAD to cast the Miraculous Cure to fix Kim's arm and Norman's leg if they wanted to continue on their mission! That was worth the use of Special Ability!

At the moment the Heroes were both keeping Borkis away from their injured friends while trying to take him down at the same time. So far, just the keeping away from friends part of this was working. Shit! This was getting to the point where-

Suddenly something was jammed into right lower side of Borkis' chest. Something made of metal pipes of different sizes, gears, and duct tape. It kind of looked like a pronged, make-shift trident that just dug into the fleshy part of the cartoon cyborg's body. Borkis was now sparking like crazy as he twitched and jolted at both the impact and the object speared into part of his chest.

Max took a step back as his handiwork went into action.

"Max? What the heck did you make?" Mister Bug asked as he watched Borkis seem to be breaking down.

Max gulp as he pushed his glasses up before he said, "I just cobbled together something to disrupt Borkis' movements so you guys could take him down. But I didn't expect it to do That." It was true, Max thought if he hindered the cyborg's movements enough, then Mister Bug and Lady Noire would be able to take Borkis down without using their Special Abilities. Though the Miraculous Cure is still going to have to be used for Kim and Norman.

Lady Noire couldn't help but say, "Not how you intended it to happen, but we have the chance to defeat him so we'll take it."

Both Mister Bug and Lady Noire got their weapons ready to strike, but that was when they were suddenly shoved to the side by a now enraged Borkis. What was worse was the fact that the cyborg now had one of his massive hands around Max's upper body, leaving only his head with a shock and pained look on his face. The Heroes paled when they realized this and tried to charge Borkis to free their friend.

Borkis practically had an aura of yellow sparks that flew off his body in droves, more so from the prong clinging to his side. Borkis tightened his grip on Max, who was now struggling to breathe as he tried to wiggle out of the iron grip of the cyborg.

Before Mister Bug and Lady Noir could even get close enough to save their friend, Borkis threw Max right into the parallel wall as hard as he could. The rest of Team Psi watched in horror as Max collided with the wall with a sickening crack! The wall splintered into web-like cracks behind the teen from the indent he causes due to the force of the impact! "MAX!" they all cried out in shock and terror as they watched Max slide down the wall like a limp ragdoll before he just collapsed onto the floor. The Heroes immediately rushed to Max's side so quickly that they didn't even register that they moved until they were kneeling next to him, nor did they notice that Markov was by their side.

That was when the two realized that Max wasn't moving... He was absolutely still... Mister Bug quickly checked Max's pulse on his neck only to realize just how hard the smaller teen was thrown into the wall. The blonde slowly pulled his shaking hand away from the unmoving body of his friend in disbelief as he bearly go out, "No..." Lady Noire cupped her hands over her mouth as her eyes widened in horror. Tears started appearing around their eyes.

That was when Markov asked, not comprehending the situation, "What's wrong? Was Max knocked unconscious or is he having trouble rebooting?" The AI was not liking the looks on the Heroes' faces. Kim, on the other hand, understood perfectly as tears dripped down his face as his eyes widen in disbelief. Norman pulled the tall teen close for a one-armed hug as Boris wrapped both arms around both Kim and the Projectionist, on the teen's other side, as he buried his face into Kim's shoulder.

It didn't take long before they heard of the Twisted Alice Angel cackle with glee, "Good job, Borkis! Now kill the others and bring me the Boris and the jewellery!" In that instance, Markov finally understood what had just happened...

Suddenly, Lady Noire's tear-stained eyes started glowing a raging green before she shouted in anger, "CATACLYSM!" A dark swirl of violent energy collected in her hand as Cataclysm formed. This Cataclysm seemed… More energized than usual… More… Concentrated than all the other prior ones...

"Marinette?" Mister Bug asked in a worried tone before he watched as Lady Noire lunged at Borkis.

The cyborg barely responded before Cataclysm made contact with him. In an instant, the sparks ceased and his body turned to a rust colour. Then Borkis fell to the ground in pieces.

That was when Team Psi heard the Twisted Alice Angel shout through the speakers, "No! No! No! Why can't all of you just die like Henry did!"

These words just seemed to enrage the current Black Cat Holder even more. Mister Bug paled when he noticed that the Cataclysm's energy didn't dissipate after being used... It seemed to grow bigger. "Oh, Kwami! Marinette! Calm Down!" Mister Bug pleaded as he scurried over to his partner as Markov hovered over Max's body.

The AI did not want to believe what happened was real, he truly didn't... But the facts... The data... They all contradicted what Markov wanted it to be... The AI used his claw to gently shake Max's shoulder, trying to get some kind of rise out of the techie. But there was nothing... No response... No movement... No... Life...

"Marinette!" Mister Bug called out as he stood in front of the enraged Black Cat Holder. He then said, "We still have the Lucky Charm! I can summon one and undo everything Borkis did! But please Bugaboo! You need to calm down! Please! For us!" As he spoke, he looked right into Lady Noire glowing eyes that were so bright that he couldn't even see her pupils. "Please, M'Lady, we can't lose you too..." Mister Bug pleaded in concerned.

It seemed to work. Lady Noire's eyes stopped glowing when she said softly, "Please... Hurry... The Lucky Charm can undo anything that is a direct cause of an event, but... You need to use it before enough time passes or else it'll be permanent." She blinked as more tears dripped down her face.

Mister Bug nodded before he held up his yo-yo. He then threw the yo-yo into the air as he shouted, "Lucky Charm!" In a flash of light, an object dropped into Mister Bug's hands. Like all the other Lucky Charms, it was red with black polka dots, but unlike the other Lucky Charms this one... Didn't... Seem to indicate what it's to be used for except for the Miraculous Cure. Mister Bug held up the Lucky Charm when he uttered, "What the heck is this?" This Lucky Charm looked like a stylized key with a strange mandala as a bow (the part you hold the key to turn it when inside the assigned lock) and a splotch of ink for the bit (the part of the key that goes into the assigned lock). Mister Bug clenched the Lucky Charm when he said, "It doesn't matter. All that matters is..." He then tosses the Lucky Charm into the air when he shouts, "Miraculous Mister Bug!"

Once the Lucky Charm was high enough, it burst into sparkling ladybugs that scattered all around the haunted ballroom. The little bugs quickly fixed whatever was broken or destroyed by Borkis. The ride cars, the wooden crates, the furniture, the Ink Maker, Kim's broken arm, and Norman's broken leg along with his dislocated shoulder. But everyone rushed over to the one that really mattered. The ladybugs surrounded their fallen friend before they vanished. They all held their breath as they waited for something to happen.

That was when Max sturred as he slowly opened his eyes.

Everyone was overjoyed as they embraced the groggily confused Max.

"What? What's... Going on?" Max got out in a tone that sounded akin to a sleepy voice that was peppered with confusion. That was when the smaller teen remembered what was going on when he asked in that same tone, "Wait! What happened... To Borkis?"

Squeezing Max's left shoulder, Lady Noire said, "We took care of him. But how are you feeling?"

Team Psi could tell that Max's eyes seemed unfocused as he struggled to keep them open when he said, "I'm... Strangely tired... For some... Reason..." Max's body did seem to sway a bit like he was barely able to keep himself awake.

Well, he did just come back from the dead so maybe it took a lot of energy to do so.

"How 'bout you take a nap. We'll keep a lookout for any trouble," Norman said in a relieved tone.

Max didn't seem to notice the tone when he replied, "But... Shouldn't we..."

Kim patted Max on the head when he said, "You rest, and if we need to move on, then I'll just carry you the way. Alright?" Markov completely agreed with that idea.

Max, still not realizing what had just transpired or even the atmosphere around him, only grumbled out a tired "Alright" before he sank to the ground and rested his head on his left arm as he fell asleep. Team Psi sighed with relief when they saw Max's body move to the gentle rhythm of his breathing.

Max was alive! Sleeping, but alive!

"Alright, I gotta admit, those powers are just blowing my mind away," Norman stated softly as they started surveying the repaired area for a way out. Boris couldn't help but agree with the Projectionist.

Both Heroes called out the transformation phrase to return to their civilian forms. Then gave the Kwamis their snacks to recharge. "They have their limits, as do we," Marinette said in relief as Tikki ate the macaroon. Norman stated that he figured as much as he and Boris looked over all the objects. It was as if they were never destroyed in the first place! Even his leg and Kim's arm did not indicate that they were ever broken!

That was when Adrien said, "And it's also the reason why we have to keep the fact that we have the Miraculous a secret. I mean, we were lucky that the Miraculous cure worked on Max because he died as a direct result of Borkis. If he hadn't then the Miraculous Cure wouldn't have worked."

Tikki explained the Miraculous Cure better to Norman and Boris. She said that while the Ladybug Miraculous was able to fix anything it has to be because it meets a certain criteria. She used two Akumas that Ladybug and Chat Noir fought in the past, Dark Blade and Siren. Tikki explained because everything that happened was affected was a direct result of Dark Blade's powers, the Miraculous Cure was able to fix everything that was wrapped. With Siren, everything that was submerged under the water created by the Akuma was restored, including the lives that had perished. That bit of information made Kim realise just how bad things were during that particular event.

"So if you know what event caused what, it can be fixed by the Ladybug Miraculous," Norman summarized, before adding, "But it won't work if you either don't know what happened to cause it or if the thing was a result of something different than what you thought it was." Tikki nodded.

Adrien and Marinette check the snack supplies. Only one snack left for each of the Kwamis... That meant that unless they find more food for the Kwamis, they need to hold off on the Abilities unless there was another life-or-death emergency.

Suddenly, Team Psi heard the creak of something opening fast from the other side of the ballroom. Since objects were blocking their view, they walked around them to see what it was. But when they saw what it was, they wished they hadn't.

The Twisted Alice Angel screeched in rage as she charged at Team Psi. They got into a battle-ready position, even Boris, to fight off the so-called angel. When Twisted Alice was almost in arm's-length from them a sword was pierced through her chest from behind. The Twisted Alice Angel let out a choked gasp as the sword was yanked out of her before she fell to the ground. The reign of the Twisted Angel had finally ended.

Team Psi then looked up at whoever saved them, only to see another Alice Angel and a serious-looking Boris with a mechanical arm.

"Who-? Who are you?" Marinette asked the newcomers in a worried tone. Who could blame her?

The New Alice Angel pointed her sword at them when she said, "We could ask the same of all of you? We watched the fight you had with that monstrosity of the Twisted Angel and the strange powers you used."

Norman growled before he waved an arm to separate the teens from the newcomers and said, "So you would've just watched as Borkis killed us and do nothing? Give us one good reason as to why we shouldn't just consider you as enemies right here and now?"

The New Alice stared at Norman inquisitively when she asked, "A Projectionist that has awareness and doesn't attack right away? How is that possible?" The serious Boris seemed to glare at Buddy Boris during this.

That was when Kim said, "Listen, considering what we just went through, we're not inclined to tell you anything!"

Then Markov inputted, "I agree, my heart is still beating after all that event." He placed his claw under his visor to emphasise the words.

That was when Adrien froze when he asked, "Markov, when did Max give you something that functions like a heart?" He thought he was hearing his own heart thumping in his ears. Marinette realized the oddity next as she started to pale.

"Wait a second... I do not have what humans call a circulatory system. Therefore, I do not have anything that would have the same function," Markov realized before asking in confusion, "But why am I hearing the sound of a heartbe-" Realization set in for all present members of Team Psi.

Team Psi quickly looked around to find any ink webs. They saw a faint patch on the wall where they were only a moment ago.

"Oh, Crap!" Kim growled out as Team Psi bolted around the structures blocking their path, and away from the newcomers.

There standing halfway in the ink-stained wall was the Ink Demon Bendy. But that wasn't what horrified Team Psi. The only thing they could think was, 'F**k! He has Max!'

The Ink Demon let out a soft growl as he pulled the still sleeping Max closer to his skeletal body with his left arm as he moved back into the inky portal he was using. Max made no signs of waking anytime soon as his head now rested on the Ink Demon's left arm. All of Team Psi charged at the Ink Demon, shouting at him to give them back their friend!

The Ink Demon let out another growl as pulled back into the ink portal with Max in his arm.

By the time Team Psi got to the wall, the Ink Demon was gone... Along with Max.

Kim banged his fist against the wall in anger as he hissed out, "Damn it!" Before he slid to his knees, his fist still balled against the wall.

It wasn't enough to lose their friend once, but twice!

The newcomer watched Team Psi's reaction from afar. They glanced at each other, neither was sure what to do.

~}i{ Outside the Studio }i{~

"Save your wife who's in a comatose state because of overusing the broken Peacock Miraculous?" Madame Emerald asked in both shock and confusion.

When Hawkmoth nodded, Drak-Kon stated, "Any particular reason why you didn't think to ask Ladybug and Chat Noir about it? I'm pretty sure they would've helped her without you holding Paris hostage. I mean, you have thought about asking them before, right?" When there wasn't a response from Hawkmoth, the Dragon Holder stated in an annoyed tone, "Dude! You could've saved yourself and Paris a lot of grief if you had done that! You're practically on everyone's Hit List!"

That was when Horseshoe said, "You were planning on using the Black Cat and Ladybug Miraculous to wake her from the coma, weren't you?" Hawkmoth nodded at this. With a sad sigh, the older hero said, "That would work but at the cost of someone else taking her place in the coma. Someone close to either her or you."

"Wha-what?!" was all Hawkmoth got out. Horseshoe explained that when using the Miraculous of Creation and Destruction together they can grant any wish but at a cost that was equal in value to the wish. Yes, Hawkmoth would have gotten his wife back, but it would have cost him someone who was just as close to him as his wife. Hawkmoth took a step back when he said, "I... I... Was unaware of that..."

"Clearly," Mitsubachi stated with a frown before adding, "Did you not ask your Kwami about the specifics of the wish or did you shut them down when you learned that you can get a wish?" Hawkmoth was quiet yet again, which was answer enough for the heroes.

That was when Horseshoe said that the Guardian of the Miraculous could fix the broken Miraculous, which in theory, might be able to help fix Hawkmoth's wife. Thankfully, the younger heroes were able to control themselves when the older hero said that.

"And the second thing?" Bunnyx asked with a raised brow.

Hawkmoth bit his lip as he placed a hand on his Miraculous. "Nooroo... Dark Wings Fall," he said as he retracted the Akuma from Catylist. And in an instant, Gabriel and Nathalie were standing in the places that were Hawkmoth and Catylist. That was when the villain said in a serious tone that was peppered with worry, "Please... Save Adrien and his friends from that accursed studio!"

The sound of a heartbeat echoed through one of the many narrow halls of the studio as the ink webs crept along the walls as if accompanying the sound. These indicators were only following Ink Demon as he walked down the hall with the unconscious teen being held in his arms. Max's head rested on the left side of the Ink Demon's chest as the tall Ink Creature's left arm supported the teen's back and the Ink Demon's right arm was tucked under the teen's knees, making it easier to carry the human.

The sounds of the Butcher Gang members were heard from a little ahead of the Ink Demon. Once the mutilated Ink Creatures spotted the Ink Demon, they immediately charged at him. Bendy didn't seem concerned about the oncoming creatures, even as they got closer and closer. Bendy just kept walking toward whatever his destination was, making sure that what he was carrying didn't fall from his grip.

When the Butcher Gang members got within the range of the Ink Webs, they started collapsing on the ground as if there was some kind of invisible pressure that was forcing them down. As the Ink Demon moved closer towards the Butcher Gang Members, they splattered into puddles of ink. Bendy simply walked past the puddles as they were of no importance to him.

Max let out a soft sigh as he continued to sleep. Bendy paused in his movements as he glanced down at the teen in his arms. Max shifted slightly but didn't wake. After a few seconds, the Ink Demon resumed walking towards his destination. The ink webs and the heartbeat sound continued to follow their source.
