Miraculous Adventure in Joey Drew Studios.

Chapter 5 Pt 4: The Last Reel of Revelations.

}i{ Outside Joey Drew Studios }i{

"Mr Agreste, I'm pretty sure you know why you're here," an officer told the fashion mogul as they sat across each other in an interrogation room.

Gabriel took a deep breath when he said in a solemn tone, "I am aware..." He fidgeted slightly before he said, "I do apologize in advance if I'm not really responsive during this. I recently learned that my wife was found and has woken up recently from a coma... She is currently resting up at a hospital nearby... And Nathalie and I are... Worried about how we are going to tell her about what happened to Adrien..." The officer nodded and made a quick note of this fact on the pad in front of them.

The fact that Mrs Agreste has finally been located had not been made public yet, just a select few know about this. Paris' Mayor, the police, the family of Mrs Agreste's hospital roommate, and the heroes. They all knew what kind of hell would break loose if the public knew that Mrs Agreste was found on top of all the other stuff that has happened, and she'd be caught up in the middle of it all.

The officer then brought the interrogation back on track when they asked, "Now, Mr Agreste, how did Ms Lila Rossi come to your employment? Especially considering that she..." The officer looked over the notes from Nathalie and the Agreste bodyguard, before saying, "Lied about being Adrien's tutor and lied her way into your home. We checked with the school, the worst grade Adrien has gotten during his school year was an A-on a math test, so he wouldn't need any type of tutoring. And from the information we got during our interview with Mr Laffie, Ms Rossi forced a kiss on your son when they were supposed to be "studying" in his room and took a photo of her kissing him, then sent it to some of Adrien's contacts. Mr Laffie admitted that he did think it was a little strange that he was getting the photo and he thought it strange that Ms Rossi was showing any type of romantic gestures towards Adrien because Ms Rossi telling him directly that she "wasn't interested in Adrien in that way". He told us that he didn't think that she was a liar right away, he just thought it was weird at the time, but he kept this photo to ask Adrien at a later date so he never deleted this photo."

The officer then showed Gabriel a copy of the snapshot of Lila kissing an obviously surprised and uncomfortable Adrien on the cheek. Lila was looking directly at the camera while Adrien didn't even know that the camera was there. It made Gabriel feel sick that he allowed this person to get so close to his son... That he didn't listen to his son when he told him that Lila made him uncomfortable... Emilie is going to kill him when she finds out about this.

The officer then said, "According to Mr Laffie, when he finally asked and showed your son about this photo, Adrien claimed that Ms Rossi told him that that was how she showed affection with her friends. Mr Laffie also told us that Adrien did ask him how he got Ms Rossi's "souvenir photo" of "their time together". When Mr Laffie asked Adrien what he was talking about, Adrien told him that Ms Rossi likes to keep "souvenir photos" of her with her friends." The officer looked at the note from the interview with Nino before adding, "Apparently, Mr Laffie checked the sender information and it turns out that Ms Rossi used Adrien's phone to take the picture and then sent it to all the girls in his contact list, or at least all the names in Adrien's contact list that looked like girl names, while she told Adrien that she was sending the photo to herself. Mr Laffie told us that after that conversation he just thought that Ms Rossi was just a fan of Adrien's and was just a little excited to spend time with her favourite model. So Mr Laffie tried to subtly set some boundaries between Adrien and Ms Rossi. It wasn't until a month or so later that Mr Laffie realized that Ms Rossi was a manipulator, and realized what that "souvenir photo" was really for."

The officer looked directly at Gabriel when he said, "We checked the metadata of the photo and we checked your son's phone records, including his texts, and found out how Mr Laffie got the text by accident. Turns out that Adrien accidentally typed in Mr Laffie's name as Nina L, rather than Nino L. Which is probably why Ms Rossi sent him that photo without realizing that she did." The officer then asked the fashion mogul, "So I ask again, how did Ms Rossi become employed by you when she obviously makes your son uncomfortable?"

Gabriel took a deep breath before he said, "She convinced me that she was a "good friend" of Adrien and wanted to "look out for him"... I thought it would make Adrien happy to work with a friend from school... Clearly, I was severely mistaken... I... I should've spoken to Adrien about her, confirmed that she WAS a friend of his, but..." Gabriel rubbed his face before he said, "Why didn't it occur to me to talk to Adrien about her... Or just... Just talk to him in general..." That was when the fashion mogul realized, that he couldn't remember the last time he just sat down with Adrien and just talk to him about anything that didn't involve the fashion business. Gabriel buried his face into his hands when he said, "I... I... The last conversation I had with Adrien was... Oh, God! He must have felt so betrayed when I-I scolded him after the last photoshoot he had with Ms Rossi!"

The officer couldn't help but ask, "The shoot where Mr Rossi molested your son on set and stormed off?" Gabriel nodded, not looking up at the officer. The officer then asked with a raised brow, "Wait, why would you scold your son for removing himself from a bad situation?"

Gabriel swallowed the indigestion that was boiling up to this throat before he said with a guilt-filled tone, "I believed Ms Rossi over my son when she told me that he was "overreacting" to her "casual touches" and just stormed off the set to "act out", she claimed that it was due to Ms Dupain-Cheng's influence over him... Gah! I feel like a fool!" He sighed before he said, "I believed her over the other employees even though they've worked for me longer! Hell, I actually believed her when she told me that a gay man had an inappropriate interest in her! And he was the one investigating her for unprofessionalism! I should've been suspicious of her when she told me that! But..." Gabriel then slumped when he said, "I don't know what I was thinking..."

The officer did pity Mr Agreste but... The officer took a deep breath before asking, "Mr Agreste, I understand that this is a lot, but you haven't answered the original question. How did Ms Lila Rossi come to your employment?"

Gabriel sighed when he admitted, "I honestly did think she was a "good friend" of Adrien and wanted to "look out for him" so... I hired her to keep an eye on him at school, to make sure he was safe and happy in that environment and report to me if there was any trouble. I did that so I didn't have to worry about Adrien being taken advantage of... But I was the one allowing this brat to take advantage of my son, right under my nose!"

The officer could tell that Mr Agreste was mentally kicking himself before he asked, "And the modelling gigs were just "payments" for her basically spying on your son?" Gabriel winced as he slowly nodded at this. The officer shook their head in disappointment when they said, "And it really never occurred to you to just sit down with your son during dinner and ask him how his day was, or just sit down and just talk to him in general?" Gabriel winced at those words. Then the officer noticed before saying, "So, you basically figured that spying on your own son was easier than just talking to him? With someone who had practically broken into your house with lies?" The officer folded their arms when they said, "Personally, I wouldn't think someone who you catch lying to you about how they got into your house would tell you anything truthful to what's been happening with your son. Honestly, I don't know HOW you thought she wouldn't lie to your face about anything?"

Gabriel cringed at that and wondered how he'd thought that Lila would tell him the truth about his son and realized just how much of his Hawkmoth persona has been... Taking over his life...

Yup, Emilie was definitely going to kill her husband once she finds out what's been happening while she's been in a coma. No ifs, ands, or buts, about it... After she kills Lila first.

Team Psi couldn't help but stare in both shock and horror at the one currently holding the reel entitled "The End". It was someone who they did not expect to be holding the thing they needed, nor did they expect to see this someone so soon. Buddy Boris trembled as he hid behind Norman as Sammy edged closer to his co-worker out of fear. Allison Angel and Tom Boris huddled closer together. The teens and AI were torn between ready to fight and wanting to run-&-hide. However... There was no place to run or hide! They didn't have any weapons, save for Chat Noir and Ladybug (once Marinette transforms ino her).

There standing at one of the entranceways of the throne room holding The End Reel in his left hand... Was the Ink Demon.

Chat Noir quickly jumped between the Ink Demon and the rest of Team Psi, his staff extended and ready to fight. The black cat hero then hissed out, "Not another step! I'll Cataclysm you if you do!"

The Ink Demon didn't respond to the threat or at least acknowledged it. He just tucked the reel under his left arm. The Ink Demon did not make any other movement as he just stood there in the entranceway. And that... Was rather strange... Wasn't the Ink Demon suppose to attack everyone on sight?

... ... ... ... ... ... Something was off about this situation... Very off...

Marinette placed a hand on Chat Noir's shoulder as she took a step forward and said, "Chaton, wait." The black cat hero turned his head towards his partner when she said, "Let's... Give the Ink Demon a chance to... I guess to explain a few things, while we have the opportunity." The rest of Team Psi was surprised by this, but...They had a chance at getting more information. Chat Noir complied but kept his weapon ready. Marinette then asked the Ink Demon as calmly as possible, "You're oddly... Mellow right now... Why is that?" She was hoping that they can figure out what the heck is going on and why the Ink Demon was so 'out of character'. The other members of Team Psi didn't seem like they were going to relax anytime soon.

The Ink Demon's teeth chattered a bit before he got out in a rusty voice, "Aaawaaaayyy frooom thheee cuuutoouutsss aaaaannnd thhee baaad ennerrgyyy ooff thheee oothheerrss." He then rubbed his throat with his right hand, like... Like it hurt for him to speak. Wait a second...

Markov was the one to point out, "That voice! You were the one calling for help in that boarded-up room with Mr Cohen's Audio Log!"

The Ink Demon made a clear nod at the statement. So he understands what was being said too.

Chat Noir lowered his staff a bit more as he looked at Kim, Marinette, Markov, and Buddy Boris when he said, "But no one was in there when we broke into that room."

That was when Marinette said, "Because the Ink Demon can teleport through the ink." That was when the bluette realized the implication before she looked back to the Ink Demon when she said, "Which you used to call attention to that out-of-the-way room with the Audio Log, Sammy's pen, and Norman's pocket watch without us realizing that it was you."

The Ink Demon nodded again.

Kim blinked in confusion before he shook his head and said in shock, "Wait! Wait! Wait! The Ink Demon was helping us?! But he also attacked us!"

That was when the Ink Demon rasped out, "Thheee cuuutoouuts coooolllleeect baaad enneerrggyy. Breeaakinnng thheem baaad." The Ink Demon clenched his throat with his right hand again as he coughed a few times.

Team Psi glanced at each other before Allison Angel asked the Ink Demon, "Wait, so the Bendy cutouts... Somehow collect negative energy, which can be released at once if the cutouts are broken?" The Ink Demon nods while keeping his right hand on his throat.

Sammy couldn't help but comment, "That explains a lot."

That was when Chat Noir realized what could've happened before he asked the Ink Demon, "Wait... That must have been the reason why Twisted Alice wanted the cutouts' remains! But, you could've told us that breaking the cutouts was a bad idea! Or told us something sooner!"

That was when Marinette noticed that the Ink Demon was still rubbing his throat. She realized what was going on when she asked, "You CAN speak, but only is short instances before your throat starts hurting." The Ink Demon nods. Marinette waved her hands slightly when she said, "And you said that the cutouts collect negative energy, but Tikki and Plagg never said anything about that... Unless... *Realization* That must have been the bad feeling Plagg couldn't pinpoint where it was coming from! But we never noticed anything weird about them, besides the reforming when our backs turned... Hold on! The negative only affects those that are already affected by the ink! It affected you too!" The Ink Demon nodded vigorously at this.

Buddy Boris seemed surprised by this, but then he thought about it for a bit. How he always seemed to avoid certain cutouts in the past. Buddy Boris realized that he must've had some kind of instinct that allowed him to bypass the cutouts with the most built-up negative energy.

Norman thought for a bit when he said, "You also said that the bad energy of others also affected you, is that why you always attack them?" They all watched as the Ink Demon turned his head to the side as if glancing away from Team Psi before he seemed to reluctantly nod at the question.

Tikki slowly floated out of Marinette's ink-stained purse during the whole thing. She didn't make herself known until she said, "You didn't want to attack them, but between the bad energy and the other Ink Creatures going after anything that moves, you didn't have much of a choice either." Team Psi watched as the Ink Demon lowered his gaze to the ground before slowly nodding.

"The Ink Webs!" Sammy said suddenly as he nearly slapped a hand to his head, before saying, "Those have always appeared when you did, but they're not here yet you are! Those Ink Webs were you trying to force out the negative energy that you're absorbing!" The Ink Demon nodded at this.

That was when Tom Boris said, "You're... Just another victim of Joey's madness." The Ink Demon let out a not so subtle growl at the name, not that anyone could blame him.

That was when Marinette had a thought. Given what they've learned so far... The bluette could help but asked the Ink Demon in a serious tone, "Is that reel really the key to "save everyone" here or is that another lie?"

The Ink Demon let out a low growl before he slowly got out, "Lllliiiiiieeee!" He then clenched his throat and coughed. The Ink Demon really couldn't talk for long.

"I thought as much," Marinette got out with an 'I'm-so-done-with-this' sigh. The bluette then said in a calm 'I'm-done' tone, "The guy twists information to suit his needs, lies about the status of the studio so no one would think that anything was wrong, and uses people to his own benefit. So, of course, he would lie about "saving" everyone trapped inside this studio. It's clear who the real monster of this studio is."

Chat Noir finally docked his staff when he said, "And we were about to just walk right into that." The rest of Team Psi shook their heads as they finally relaxed. Chat Noir then said in a huff, "We were so focused on wanting to save everyone trapped here that we overlooked the fact that the bastard was the one telling us about the reel."

Sammy folded his arms when he said, "How much you want to bet that he planned for that specifically."

Norman scoffed before he said, "That's a sucker bet." He then placed a hand under his lens when he added thoughtfully, "But... The Audio Log was directed specifically for Henry..."

Kim looked at the former studio workers with a raised brow when he said, "Why? He's been dead for five years."

Tom Boris looked at the Audio Log they just listened to before he said, "Judging by the state of this... I'd say that it might've been recorded... Maybe a decade ago, maybe more..."

Markov was the one to say, "Should we be surprised that he would assume that Grandpa Ri would follow his plan? Though Grandpa Ri has passed away, given how the two haven't been in touch for over 60 years. It is logical to assume that Mr Drew is unaware of this fact."

Allison Angel replied, "Still, even if he was unaware that Henry died... Why did Joey want him to return to the studio so badly? More than the other workers that use to work there?"

That was when Kim said, "Speaking of Grandpa Ri," as his gaze turned to the Ink Demon. The rest of Team Psi followed the tall teen's gaze to the Ink Demon. That was when Kim asked, "What about Max?"

The Ink Demon gave a slight nod and used his right hand to motion 'Follow me' before he turned and started walking out of the 'throne room'. The End reel was still tucked under his left arm, though that reel was no longer a priority to Team Psi. They gave a glance at each other with a few short shrugs before they followed the Ink Demon.

Not something any of the members of Team Psi thought would happen, but they're not going to complain. Though, they were hoping that they'll get more answers.

~}i{ Outside the Studio }i{~

"It works! We can get into the studio now!" Luka shouted in excitement, before collapsing, his energy completely gone. Luckily, Nino and Kagami managed to catch him before he hit the ground.

Chloe couldn't help but say, "Yeah, it works, but it completely drained you... Guess that's the reason why the old man didn't want us using two or more Miraculous at the same time."

Alix looked at the other Holders before she said, "How about we take turns with the Mouse/Horse combo when we use it to get into that studio. Between the five of us, one will use it while the ones who've used it rest."

As he helped Kagami place Luka onto a nearby couch, Nino said, "Sounds like a good plan, dudette. But we gotta inform the police on our plan, so we can co-ordinate a way to keep our civilian ids a secret while using this combo."

All were in agreement on that.

~}i{ Inside Joey Drew Studio }i{~

During their stroll, Team Psi easily discovered that this building-sized Ink Machine was where everyone unfortunate enough to get caught up inside the studios' madness was turned into an Ink Creature. There were Ink Pods on practically every free space on the walls in the hall. In the Ink Pods were a various array of Ink Creatures; Butcher Gang Members, a lot of Lost Ones, Searchers, Boris', Projectionists, and some half-formed Alice Angels...

"How... How did... All these people... Get in those things?" Tom Boris asked in a mixture of disgust and horror as they passed by more Ink Pods. The Ink Demon stopped walking, looked over his shoulder, and just shrugged.

Chat Noir raised a brow when he asked, "You don't know how?" The Ink Demon nods. The black cat hero scratched his head when he said, "But don't you "live" here?" The Ink Demon turned fully to Team Psi as he shook his head. That surprised some of Team Psi. That was when Chat Noir asked, "Have you... Tried to break one of these open to save them?"

That was when the Ink Demon got out, "Oooonnnllllyyyy ooonnne brrrooooke." He then rubbed his throat with his right hand.

That one sentence was telling.

That was when Marinette asked, "So you have tried to break those pods before?" The Ink Demon nodded. She then asked, "But they never broke no matter how much you tried, save for one?" The Ink Demon nodded again. Marinette placed a hand to his chin as Tikki floated next to her when she said, "That's... Kind of strange." When she was asked why by Markov, Marinette responded with, "The Ink Demon is strong enough to tilt a metal structure that's as tall a two-story building when he tried." Chat Noir and Kim verbally agreed with that while the Ink Demon scratched his cheek with his right hand in confusion before he had an 'Oh yeah' motion like he just realized that he can do that. That was when Marinette finished with, "If the Ink Demon couldn't break those pods, then either those things are a lot more structurally enforced or the Heavenly Toys tower wasn't as stable we originally thought."

Chat Noir shook his head when he said, "No, that tower had to be structurally sound. It had to be because of that heavy sign and to be used as a waterfall, er, inkfall. Plus the thing easily held the weight of the ink that was flowing out and two heroes."

Tom Boris looked over the nearest Ink Pod when he said, "Doesn't seem like they're That enforced, but..." He knocked on the metal section of the Ink Pod with his mechanical hand before knocking on the glass. The Lost One inside didn't seem to notice the knocking.

Buddy Boris tapped his chin a few times before he indicated the Lost One inside the pod and then the hallway they were in. Chat Noir caught on to what Buddy Boris was trying to ask when he responded, "Good point Buddy, how do these Ink Creatures get out of the pods? And not leave any trace of ink in the hallways?"

Suddenly, there was a clicking sound that came from above the Ink Pod. Everyone looked up just in time to see the nozzle to the pipe spewing the ink into the pod close before it opened again and started sucking both the ink and the Lost One into it as if it were a vacuum. The Lost One didn't resist, they just let themself be sucked up and sent to who knows were. The moment the vacuum pipe sucked in every inky substance, it closed with a snap.

Everyone just stared at the closed pipe for a good while before Sammy commented, "So... That's how... ... ... But where is that take the Lost One?"

That was when the Ink Demon got out, "Aaaarrroouunnnd tthheee sstuuudiiiooo wheeereeeeveeerrr aaa ssttaattuueee ssttaaannndsss." Then he started coughing as he clenched his right hand to his throat.

"Statue?" Chat Noir questioned curiously.

That was when Markov realized the implication before he used his built-in projector to cast an image of one of the Bendy Statues that they've passed by during their adventure on a clean section of wall and asked, "Are you referring to these statues?" The Ink Demon didn't seem surprised by the sudden projection as he looked at the image of the Bendy Statue before he nodded. Markov quickly analyzed the new information before he asked, "Did you witnessed this happening?"

The Ink Demon rubbed his throat a few times before he used his right hand to make a teetering motion like he was saying "Kind of".

That was when Chat Noir realized something that he and the others have overlooked. The black cat hero then quickly said in a serious tone, "Wait a second. You don't seem surprised about Markov and what he can do... Kinda odd considering that everyone we've come in contact with inside the studio has never met an AI before." With that, the rest of Team Psi looked at Markov and then at the Ink Demon. Chat Noir was right, everyone they've come across inside the studio didn't seem sure about what Markov was, (I know I haven't written it actively in the chapters, but I implied it in the more important moments) which made sense considering that the majority of the non-violent ones have been trapped here long before the idea of a computer came to be. That was when the black cat hero added in that same suspicious tone as he gave the Ink Demon a stern look, "From what we've gathered, you have been here for a long time. Making your lack of surprise about Markov all the stranger... And that's now making me wonder... Who are you really?"

The only thing the Ink Demon did was chatter his teeth.

~}i{ Outside the Studio }i{~

The Temporary Heroes (minus a sleeping Viperion) brought their suspicions about some off-the-book construction done on Joey Drew Studio to the police. They planned to convince the police to let them use the Miraculous to get in by letting them know that the blueprints of the Studio from the archive isn't accurate. But the police already had proof that there Were of-the-book constructions. They had Max's phone, which recorded most of Team Psi's adventure and showed the proof of the undocumented construction.

One of Madame Emerald's eyebrows twitched when she got out, "A toy factory?!"

Bunnyx rubbed her head in annoyance when she griped out, "An amusement park?!"

That was when the turtle and rabbit Holder snapped at the same time, "How do you add those to a studio and NOT have them in the blueprints?!"

As Horseshoe tried to calm the two down, Drak-Kon asked the police, "Dudes, you gotta admit that all these off-the-book "additions" are the epitome of suspicious."

Mitsubachi then added, "I admit that do not know the parameter of constructions, but don't you need to have the city approve of any new additions to a building? And update the blueprints so that the city can keep a record of in case any emergencies on the premises should occur?"

The officer sighed before saying, "No, you're right, even back in the 40s and 50s... We already have someone looking into why this never happened. So far, we only have record of these things being "planned" but no record of them being done... Except for Mr Kanté's phone."

That was when Horseshoe asked, "How did Mr Drew manage to talk the hired labour into not telling any city officials about the construction? Because I'm sure someone would've told them or asked an official if everything is in order."

The officer then said, "We're looking into that too."

That was when another officer burst in as they shouted, "Sir! You have to see this!" With that, the 2nd officer placed two lists onto the desk so everyone could see. The 2nd officer pointed to the first list and said, "This is the list of construction workers that did or were "suppose" to work on Joey Drew Studio, including the ones from the old Gent Company." They then pointed to the second list when they said, "And this is the list of Joey Drew Studio "victims" who worked in construction, also including the ones who worked for the old Gent Company."

It didn't take anyone long to see that the two lists were identical.

Drak-Kon broke the silence that hung densely in the air by saying, "Okay, seriously, how did no one notice the whole "they disappeared at Joey Drew Studios" connection back then?! Not just all these construction workers, there were hundreds of the studios' employees that went missing back then." He then huffed when he said, "Mitsubachi and I did a little asking during the last "Joey Drew Studios' Victims Advocates" gathering, close to the end though. A lot of the ones who lost their loved ones that were "invited back" or "vanished" around the time the Studio was open made it pretty clear that Joey Drew had something to do with their loved ones' disappearance. How was that not noticed back then?"

Mitsubachi nodded when she added, "A lot of them were rather "unhappy" with the lack of effort on the polices' part after they filed a missing person's report." She gave the officer a stern look at that.

The officer responded with, "We have Officer Raincomprex looking through those reports to find out why the police back then didn't take those "Missing Persons" reports seriously as they should have. Since it is a rather glaring breach of police protocol. Plus all involving the same person and workplace should've still raised a few eyebrows, even if our force was a little "lax" back then." The officer got serious when he said, "Listen, the implication that Mr Joey Drew is involved in the "disappearance" of practically all the employees that worked for him is obvious. Heck, it wouldn't surprise me that he was behind it all. We actually have another officer looking for any former officers who were active back then to figure out what the hell happened to make them practically drop all the established protocols regarding missing persons, even if those protocols weren't as thorough as they are today."

That was when Bunnyx asked with a raised brow, "Why is the police suddenly so keen on this investigation now?" Everyone looked at the rabbit holder when she added, "I mean, I saw how many "victims" the Studio claimed and besides accidental entries, employees "invited back" is pretty high. That should've raised suspicions a helluva lot earlier. Launched an investigation a helluva lot earlier. So why now?"

The second officer was the one to say as they looked at their superior, "You know, she has a point. All those people involved in a single location... There should've been a good number of investigations before ours."

The first officer sighed before saying, "Now I certainly am glad that we were also doing an internal investigation during this." They then added, "Yeah, the Mayor order that after realizing that there was a victim's advocates group specifically for Joey Drews Studio and found out just how many people "disappeared" because of the place. And believe it or not, he called for the internal investigation before his daughter found out about that group."

'Oh, so that's what daddy meant when he said he was already on it when I told him,' Madame Emerald thought to herself as she folded her arms. She was kinda glad that her father wasn't brushing off her concerns.

The officer sighed again before saying, "I'm going to be honest, I and at least 80% of the department never even heard of the Joey Drew Studios' Victims Advocacy before the kids and AI got trapped in that studio. Shocking I know, but it's the truth, and I don't even know how that is possible." The officer rubbed his face before adding, "And considering that the members of the group have been petitioning a full-blown investigation of Joey Drew and his studio."

Drak-Kon raised a brown when he asked, "Really? How did you and nearly all of your department not know about it until the recent case?"

The officer then said, "Which is the reason for the internal investigation."

That was when Horseshoe asked, "So I guess you're not against us trying a little Miraculous investigation of our own into Joey Drew Studio?"

The officer nodded when they said, "Long as you're able to get to the group and out of that studio. Just be aware that they're not going to leave Norman Polk and the Boris behind so you're going to have to figure out how to get them out too."

"I'm sorry, what?" the Temporary Heroes gasped in confusion at the same time.

~}i{ Inside Joey Drew Studios }i{~

The sound of dripping ink was heard in the background as a shadow watched a monitor. Playing on the monitor was Team Psi interacting with the Ink Demon. The shadow's fingers were intertwined as the thumbs tapped in rhythm with the dripping as they watched the monitor. That was when the shadow heard the cat-themed hero say, "From what we've gathered, you have been here for a long time. Making your lack of surprise about Markov all the stranger... And that's now making me wonder... Who are you really?" The shadow then watches the Ink Demon chatter his teeth.

The shadow leaned closer to the monitor when they said, "How very Interesting... Such... Knowlege (1) (2)." With a smirk they said, "Perhaps... *Wheeze* This is the opportunity for me retrieve what was *wheeze* stolen from me. There might not be a need for *wheeze* for a Dark Revival (3) to happen *wheeze* to get what was promised to me."
