"Like me, you have a sacred gear and there's a chance that somebody from that organization might come after you to recruit you. I'm using the blank check to make sure that you know about that and request that if this group tries to recruit you that you let me know as soon as possible"
"I see" Jeanne replied with an unsure tone in her voice which bothered Issei.
"Amusingly enough that's it." Issei chuckled trying to keep things simple.
Jeanne was stunned by the situation and couldn't help but voice her opinion, "So let me get this straight. You're using a favor that could net you practically anything you want within reason, to warn me about some group that you've only heard rumors about and make sure that if they come after me, that you know. You can't be serious" Jeanne wondered in disbelief.
"As much as it bores me to do so yes. You and I are far too popular to do this in public and if I made a trip up to Nochizuri to see you exclusively it would cause loads of headaches for both of us since I practically never do that. Besides I'm already having sex with you and Momiji is the one who arranges my Nochizuri dates so asking you for help there is pointless. The only thing I could ask you for is kendo and if Mury found out I asked you about anything kendo related she'd try to kill me" Issei shrugged.
Jeanne blinked owlishly at the statement and how annoyingly accurate it was. Then something else occurred to her, "Wait a minute, couldn't you have just got my number from Momiji and asked me that way."
Issei chuckled since she had a point, "Momiji and her sister are annoyingly perceptive. If I asked for your number she would want to know why and I don't feel like doing that.
Jeanne blinked once again and smiled since he was right. She got up from the bed and walked over to Issei and wrapped her arms around him, "If that's all, can I get one last kiss for the road? It might be a while until I see you" Jeanne requested.
"Sure" Issei replied with an odd look on his face as they kissed once again. Issei couldn't explain why but the kiss lacked the passion from earlier if anything it felt like a kiss goodbye which was not good.

"I know! But Jeanne is gone. She wasn't here so I thought it was her out for a morning run but it's the middle of the day and she's nowhere to be found." Momiji replied clearly frustrated.
"What!?" Issei replied in shock before dropping his system. He had a rotten feeling to begin with but this was too much.
"Yeah. Everything was fine when we came back but I woke up I didn't see her. I figured she was just out running or at practice but that was 4 hours ago."
"I see" Issei frowned.
"I don't know what to do." Momiji said nervously.
A part of Issei was furious because he knew exactly what happened. The reason he did it via the blank was to see Jeanne's expression when he mentioned the group. Given what happened, it was obvious that Jeanne was already a member of the group that Issei was warned about but he couldn't tell her that, "Just relax. Maybe she just left campus for something private." Issei replied trying to assure Momiji that everything was okay even if it probably wasn't.
"Okay" Momiji replied before hanging up.

"Thank you Mr. Hyoudou" Jeanne replied calmly.
"Of course." Issei's father replied before shutting the door.
Jeanne stayed by the door as Issei sat at his desk. There was clear tension in the room and both knew why, "I just heard from Momiji a few minutes ago. She was quite upset that you weren't around." Issei deadpanned.
"Unlike the devils I can't exactly erase memories. Hell, outside of my sacred gear I know very little magic outside of teleportation spells and I rarely use those for obvious reasons." Jeanne retorted.
"Considering that you're working for an organization of supernatural beings, I figured you'd know a little more than that." Issei retorted causing Jeanne to look at him with a slightly annoyed expression.
Jeanne frowned back and realized what happened, "I gave myself away at the hotel huh." Jeanne scowled.
"That's right, so my question is where does that leave us." Issei wondered putting the pressure on her. They were enemies in a technical sense but that was it.
Jeanne took a deep breath because this was the part that mattered most. It was why she left early to come here and disguised herself, "If you keep my identity a secret from the devils and fallen that you know, I'll do what I can to ensure that my group's activities don't affect any of your lovers and if I learn about a plot that does, I'll warn you ahead of time." Genevieve said calmly.
"So you basically become a double agent." Issei twitched.
"That's right" Jeanne frowned. It was risky and stupid and she knew it but that was her only chance. Ironically, it was the only chance for her exposure to not cost her big time with her group. Since he's loosely associated with them it made things much easier for her to work around the issue at hand because she didn't trust her odds in an actual match with him. No, she would lose and it wouldn't be close and she knew it.
"It's not that simple Jeanne. Sooner or later your group will make moves against the supernatural which means there's a very good chance you and I will be enemies in short order. That means that when people discover our connection, which they will, it'll end badly for me." Issei frowned. This didn't have much benefit to him,
"I know but that's all I've got. The situation sucks for both of us but this is the only way that both of us don't have major problems on our hand." Jeanne replied desperately hoping he'd accept.
Issei knew she was right and a large part of him wanted to accept but then something occurred to him. She should've known all this the moment he discovered her identity. Which left the question of why she was here confronting her. If anything she was better off hiding, "What's the power of your sacred gear." Issei said coldly a sneaking suspicion coming to his mind.
"My sacred gear allows me to make blades out of thin air but why does that…?" Jeanne started to say before her eyes widened. "You can't seriously think that I'd come here to trap you or blackmail you do you." Jeanne gasped.
"Well you've done all this sneaking so I have no idea what you could do." Issei smiled.
Jeanne huffed because he was right and simply took a breath, "When I realized that you knew about my group, I panicked because I knew how connected you were to the devils in Kuoh. At first I considered leaving completely and getting somebody from my organization to erase the memories of my classmates but that wouldn't solve the problem."
"Your skill in kendo means you can't exactly go away without erasing everybody's memories connected to that part of your life as well. The minute Nochizuri had a match somebody would've asked why you weren't there it would've caused a firestorm." Issei finished.
"Exactly. The only solution to my problem is convincing you to not tell the devils and me becoming your double agent is the easiest way to accomplish that. As you pointed out when you cashed the blank check, there's not much I can do for you that you either don't have somebody else for or would be stupid"
Issei sighed because her becoming his double agent was the only solution that would both allow her to stay at Nochizuri and avoid the blowback that would inevitably come his way at the same time. It was infuriating but he had no choice, "Very well then I accept." Issei said reluctantly.
"Then as a show of good faith how about we engage in some trust exercises." Jeanne smiled before pulling her sweatshirt over her head to reveal that she wasn't wearing a bra before sliding off her sweatpants leaving her in a pair of lacy blue panties.

"You're right about that Issei. Your battle against Riser has caused quite a stir in the Underworld. The type of stir that makes things very interesting for you." Rias said calmly though she couldn't help but smirk a bit.
Issei scowled at the wording and he knew what she was getting at. "If this is some attempt to get me to join your peerage it won't work. We've already established I'm too strong for that." Issei scowled. It wouldn't take much research and questioning to discover that he wasn't a devil and a greedy devil may try to get him to join them. The only thing currently staying their hand was the fact Rias and Sona were around him constantly.
'It's not but the fact you understand enough about our politics to think that is scary.' Rias shuddered to herself. "I simply want an assurance from you that we can trust you." Rias continued.
Issei scowled because this type of thing was why he hated Rias to begin with, "We… or you Rias. In case you've forgotten I'm sleeping with Sona and five members of her peerage, if you include her new acquisitions. Issei's expression went sour once again, "So what. If you're worried that I'll betray you guys don't be." Issei said coldly. Rias was mad at the fact that he had all these connections around her but not her. It was tedious and annoying and while he was willing to move on, Rias clearly wasn't.
"Alright" Rias sighed aware that this wasn't working yet again.
"If that's all I'm going home. Things are already annoying enough as is and if you're just going to try and play politics I don't need to come by." Issei frowned as he spun to leave.
"Issei wait" Rias pleaded realizing that things have gotten off track badly.
Issei paused and glared back at the Gremory heiress his annoyance clear, "What?"
Rias got up from her spot and walked in front of the desk the strength she tried to show gone, "If you were having this conversation with Sona you'd probably give her the assurance, but it feels like you're fighting me at every turn. What do I have to do to get you to trust me?" Rias questioned.
'Is she joking. Does Rias honestly not get why I'm so annoyed with her.' Issei groaned.
"No but this is your chance partner. How about you get some revenge the fun way." Ddraig suggested.

Sona sighed because she did know why and she understood why Issei was mad, "Rias was desperate Issei and from your perspective I know it must be frustrating, but what you're doing to her now makes you no better than Riser."
"What was that" Issei scowled not liking the comparisons.
"The Issei I know wouldn't abuse somebody the way you're abusing Rias. I mean if she was a sub like Akeno sure, but otherwise no. You two agreed to let bygones be bygones before Riser's battle and I hoped you'd keep to that. Treating her this way is unfair to her and you know it" Sona said with a solemn expression on her face.
Issei was about to respond but he heard a buzzing sound from his phone which meant somebody was calling him. To his surprise it was a message from someone he hadn't heard from in a while. 'Red Alert: I need you to get a hold of the devils in the area immediately. Call back once it's possible- Irina' Issei's eyes widened.
"What's wrong Issei?" Sona wondered recognizing that something was wrong.
"I need to have a chat with you and Rias right now and before you ask this is not a sex thing it's a supernatural problem thing." Issei scowled before walking back to the clubroom.
"Right" Sona frowned. Something had Issei spooked and after seeing his power display, anything that that spooked him spelled trouble for them.
It took them a few minutes for Issei to return to the clubroom to find that Rias was in the shower with a smiling Akeno waiting for her. "Ufufufufu, I thought you would've had enough of Rias for now." Akeno teased.
Issei ignored the joke but focused on the task at hand. "I hate to ruin your shower Rias but we have a major problem on our hands. One that requires me to talk to both you and Sona ASAP and don't worry Sona's already with me." Issei shouted
"Alright" Rias replied turning off the shower immediately. Due to how powerful he was, she knew he had supernatural connections outside of Azazel even if she didn't know what they were. If he was saying that something urgent was going on, he meant it. Rias walked out and used some magic to put her uniform on since time was of the essence.
"Should I get the others." Sona wondered.
"No." Issei replied before dialing his phone yet again this time putting it on speaker because it would make things much easier. The girls heard the phone ring a few times before somebody picked up.
"That was fast Issei. I didn't think you could get a hold of the devils that easily." A female voice said much to the annoyance of Sona and Rias.
"Now's not the time Irina. I'm currently with Rias Gremory and Sona Sitri, the two girls in charge of Kuoh. What's the emergency?" Issei questioned.
"A few days ago, three different groups of thieves broke into a Roman Catholic Protestant and Easter Orthodox churches around Europe. The group was combined of a group of rogue exorcists and fallen angels and although most of the people in the area. Only one thing was stolen from each church."
"What was stolen" Sona spoke up.
"A fragment of the Holy Sword Excalibur." Irina revealed causing Rias and Sona's eyes to widen.
"So what does that have to do with us here in Kuoh. You said yourself that no devils were involved." Rias said haughtily causing Sona to frown and Issei to twitch at her haughty expression.
"The reason I'm calling Issei and having him contact you two is because we were able to capture one of the exorcists involved. After interrogating him, we discovered both who was behind the theft and where they're going next."
Sona and Issei's eyes both widened, "Irina please don't tell me what I think you're going to tell me." Issei groaned in annoyance.
"If you mean that the person responsible is headed to Kuoh, I'm afraid so. But that's not the bad news."
"Who is responsible for the theft." Sona said nervously aware that was the only thing left to determine.
"The fallen angel cadre, Kokabiel." Irina revealed causing all three parties to go ice cold.
"Irina give me a moment I'm going to put you on mute." Issei said calmly.
"Sure" Irina replied and Issei did just that.
Issei was about to ask where Raynare was but Rias beat her to it, "Akeno I need you to get Raynare IMMEDIATELY." Rias insisted.
"Right. Everyone should still be training." Akeno said with a scowl as she left to get the fallen angel.
Issei frowned before reaching for his phone and taking it off mute, "Irina I'm back."
"Good" Irina smiled.
"Before we continue talking about this incident, mind if I ask who you are." Rias asked curiously. This was a major incident but the girl in question was very young based on her voice. Something didn't add up.
"My name is Irina Shidou and I'm an exorcist based out of London England. I also happen to be Issei's childhood friend." Irina explained.
"So why contact Issei instead of talk through more official channels." Rias questioned rather arrogantly
Issei and Sona rolled thier eyes at the display but Irina ultimately kept her cool, "Because the higher ups in the church are assholes and while I don't know who they'll send to Kuoh to retrieve the blades, I wanted Issei to know in case he needs to get involved. I know he's strong and that means I know he can keep the peace or act as a liaison between you guys in case it gets really ugly." Irina replied trying to hide her annoyance.
"I see" Sona replied appreciating her honesty.
"I'll contact Issei as soon as I know more but I figured I should tell him that much for now." Irina replied before hanging up. Rather ironically, Akeno returned with Raynare in tow seconds later.
"What happened that you dragged me away from the training." Raynare frowned.
"We have a situation. One that involves a friend of yours." Issei scowled.
"Which friend" Raynare said nervously not liking the scowl.
"Kokabiel" Rias replied causing Raynare's eyes to widen.
"Let me make one thing clear from the start. Kokabiel is not my friend. He's not the friend of anybody in the group still in Kuoh. I might've just started talking to my dad again for the first time in a while, but we agree on one thing and that's that we don't trust Kokabiel." Raynare said coldly.
"Then your dad will be absolutely thrilled to know that Kokabiel stole a few fragments of the Holy Sword Excalibur and is bringing them to Kuoh for some sort of plan." Rias said dripping with sarcasm.
"FUCK!" Raynare cursed before immediately activating her magic circle and leaving. Most likely to talk to her father
"She took that well" Issei deadpanned.
"We can worry about Raynare and Azazel's reaction later. We need to be ready for whoever the church sends to arrive. So Issei get as much information as possible from your childhood friend when she contacts you next." Sona said firmly.
"Got it. Well I'm gonna head home for now so I can await Irina's call." Issei replied calmly.
"Of course" Rias replied as Issei left.
"Of all the things to be brought to Kuoh it had to be Excalibur." Rias frowned.
"We have to play this right Rias or we're in deep trouble." Sona replied.
"I know" Rias frowned knowing that this news was just the beginning.

Issei arrived home and tossed his school stuff on the bed but before he could take a shower his phone rang again. Once more it was Irina and Issei opened his phone, "That was fast. I didn't think you'd have the information about whose coming that quickly."
"I actually knew before but, I wanted to wait until we were alone to say it." Irina said calmly.
Issei's eyes widened because he knew exactly what his childhood friend was about to say, "You're the one coming along with your partner, I believe her name was Xenovia." Issei replied.
"Yep we'll be in Kuoh in two days."
"I see" Issei replied unsure of what else to say. Irina was coming back.
"It'll be nice to see you, but I feel bad for the girls who have dates with Hottie Magnet Hyoudou in the next few weeks." Irina teased causing Issei to freeze.
"How do you know that name" Issei gasped. Irina was long gone when he became Hottie Magnet Hyoudou so there was no way she should know about it. It was possible his parents said something but he highly doubted that also.
"Secret!" Irina smiled. Rather ironically, one of their old elementary classmates ran into her in England a year ago when she was on vacation. She told him about issei's reputation and even introduced her to an online fan club that talks about him and shared stories and videos. Reading all the stories was a bit awkward but she got used to it.
"Fine but you are right that I'll have to cancel. I wouldn't want to put one of the girls in danger." Issei replied.
"Talk to you later Issei"
"Bye Iri" Issei replied before hanging up. Things were about to get very interesting and not in a good way.
