As the sun shone on the Hyoudou household early in the morning Issei Hyoudou was certainly enjoying himself. "So Ddraig care to tell me why you interrupted this morning. Xenovia was mine for the taking." Issei groaned as he walked to class alone.
"Because you have business to attend to or have you forgotten about that man Valper and his possible connection to your other friend."
"Other what are you… I see." Issei said calmly realizing what his partner was talking about. Reaching for his phone he quickly dialed a number before pressing send. The phone rang for a few seconds before the person on the other side answered.
"This better be good Issei. I was just about to leave to go to class." Jeanne frowned from the other side of the line. When she agreed to become his spy, Jeanne gave him her phone number so now they had a means to communicate without needing Momiji. However, she didn't expect a call this soon.
"Does the name Valper Galiel mean anything to you." Issei asked curiously. Jeanne's powers were practically identical to Kiba's so it was possible she survived the same experiment as he did or was part of a similar experiment at a different time.
"How do you know that name?" Jeanne replied angrily. Clearly, he hit the mark with this one and he didn't know if that was a good thing or bad thing.
"I won't tell you if you don't answer my question Jeanne." Issei replied. He could almost feel her annoyance.
"I don't know much about the man personally but I have an… associate who would love nothing more than to stab him in the balls with a few of his blades." Jeanne smiled.
"A member of this mysterious team of yours." Issei finished.
"That's right" Jeanne deadpanned. "So how do you know him?"
"I suspect that he's in Kuoh working with the fallen angel Kokabiel and a former exorcist named Freed Sellzan." Issei explained. Once again, he could practically feel Jeanne's annoyance.
"That explains plenty. I know about Freed from the same associate and although I've never met the man, my associate tells me he's a nasty piece of work. As for Kokabiel, that explains the disgusting energy I felt near the area when I had my match the other day."
"Nearby where?" Issei wondered. He knew where Kokabiel was already but he was curious how skilled Jeanne was.
"I won't tell you because if you confront him Kokabiel would kill you in a heartbeat and as much as you drive me crazy, I don't want him killing you." Jeanne said worriedly.
"Fine but you be careful also since Kokabiel might have sensed your power. I'm just glad you don't know Valper." Issei smiled.
"You were concerned that I got my powers from his demented experiment, weren't you?"
"Where'd you get that idea." Issei smiled. Jeanne was smarter than he thought, but luckily, she wasn't smarter than him.
"Because the associate I keep mentioning always talked about it. He showed me what happened and I realized that my powers are just like some of the powers that cropped up from those kids before Valper finished them off."
"Alright." Issei smiled putting the fact that others had those same powers to the side.
"Please tell me that's why you called." Jeanne groaned.
"Amusingly enough it is, I thought you were connected to the experiments since your powers resemble an associate of mine and that's why I called. Well, have fun at class Jeanne." Issei said happily. Overall it was a successful call and he got great information out of it.
"Alright. By the way, if you do want to ever do a booty call, I'm okay with that." Jeanne said shyly. The way she switched from serious to shy was hilarious and Issei was all for it.
"We'll see" Issei smiled before hanging up. Things were getting interesting on his end but he'd worry about Jeanne another time. Now it was time to focus on class and what lied in store there.

A smiling Issei arrived at the ORC with Irina and Xenovia as Rias calmly looked on. Akeno Kiba and Koneko were there along with a now healed Raynare. Ravel was with the student council which was fine for now, "So any news." Irina frowned hoping they came up with something.
"Nothing useful if that's what you mean. Since Issei decided to kill Freed instead of capturing him we don't exactly have anything to go on." Rias said angrily. She couldn't believe that he let him go like that since he was a source of information.
"I would've captured him but I was kinda on a date when he attacked. Finishing that was a priority" Issei rolled his eyes.
Rias was not pleased, "Then capture him and have a clone bring him to us. Instead you let somebody who could get us a proper lead get away."
"Oh get off your high horse Red. Letting him live was the right call and we both know it." Raynare scolded.
"Really and what makes you say that?" Rias scoffed.
Raynare looked at Rias in disbelief, "Because I've known Kokabiel for a very long time. With that psycho Freed dead, Valper has nobody to use the swords and that means his plan is useless since we all know it involves the blades. The ONLY thing and I mean the ONLY thing holding back Kokabiel from wiping us is whatever plan he's coming up with."
"Any idea what that plan might be." Rias frowned.
"I have a few guesses but none of those would've mattered if Freed was dead." Raynare said coldly.
Rias frowned since she didn't have any idea either and Raynare convinced her that not killing Freed was wise. Then something occurred to her, "What are the chances that Valerie can help us." Rias wondered.
Raynare cursed internally since she knew that was coming, "She could help us quite easily but asking her for help is the last thing I want to do."
"Why is that?" Rias wondered.
Raynare sighed knowing this would not make her look good, "My dad is obsessed with Sacred Gears and Valerie being the White Dragon Empress meant she was something special to him. When she first joined our family, I was the kind big sister, but little by little he began to prioritize training her instead of spending time with me. After a while it became too much and I left."
"Wait a minute, VALERIE is the White Dragon Empress" Rias gasped.
"Why'd you have to go and tell her that Raynare." Valerie groaned as she walked into the room from the side.
"How long have you been here." Rias gasped being caught off guard again.
"A few minutes. You really should pay more attention" Valerie smirked.
Rias wanted to counter her but there was a slightly more important subject to discuss, "So you're the White Dragon Empress."
Valerie simply sighed before focusing herself and revealing her sacred . It was a white wing bone with what appeared as translucent blue energy acting as the wings tips, "That's right I am and thanks to my sacred gear the White Dragon's Divine Dividing, my family life was a little messed up and I fled at a young age. Zaz found me and took me in and raised me amongst the Fallen so I know what Kokabiel is like also" Valerie explained. The part about her family being messed up and her fleeing was true but Valerie wasn't going to give away all her secrets.
Rias stepped in next, "Valerie can you help us figure out what Kokabiel is planning."
"Depends."
"On what" Rias said with a raised eyebrow.
"What are you going to do once you find out. He's far stronger than everyone here including me and Issei which means an attack ends badly. All you can really do is wait and see what he's planning." Valerie said calmly.
"But we can't just wait. Who knows the type of damage he could do to my town?" Rias insisted.
Valerie sighed because Rias was being foolish, "In that case this conversation is over."
"What! Why!?" Rias exclaimed.
"Because you clearly don't get it and I don't feel like explaining it to you." Valerie replied coldly before a magic circle appeared from under her causing her to leave.
As a stunned Rias looked on, she turned towards Issei the exorcists and Raynare, "Now what!" Rias complained causing the group to frown.
"Honestly I'm going to head home. Come on Irina Xenovia." Issei said coldly before moving to leave.
"Right" the exorcists nodded before following Issei out the door. Even they could see how foolish Rias was and that wouldn't do them any good right now.

Nightfall arrived and it was date time for Issei with a rather ironic source, "I can't believe I'm actually on a date at one of my restaurants." Sona Sitri smiled. She was wearing a simple black halter dress which was one of the few she had for such an occasion which Issei certainly appreciated. Despite their various trysts this was the first time Sona and Issei had an actual date.
"I'm more amazed you own a restaurant. Then again you and Rias are well connected." Issei replied with a smile. They were in a nice restaurant called The Little Mermaid sitting across from one another with an ice blue circular table with matching chairs. Issei appreciated the simple nature of the place and the various mermaid statues around it. The room they were in had a large glass aquarium on the side which made it even more amazing.
"It's nice to have a place where we can act like nobility again." Sona admitted.
"I bet" Issei smiled as they waited for their dinner having already ordered.
"I hate to change the subject but I heard you and Rias got into an argument earlier today?" Sona smiled.
"Can we not talk about Rias." Issei pleaded since he didn't want to think about Rias's foolishness.
"That's fine since I don't get you all alone to myself very often." Sona reminded herself bitterly.
"Yep and I just want to have a nice dinner with a lovely young woman." Issei smiled.
"What about afterwards. We're not far from Aurorus." Sona suggested.
Issei was about to respond but the curtain to the VIP room opened and their waitress for the night appeared. It was a young woman around their age with short red hair and green eyes wearing a white dress shirt and a black skirt. She was also Sona's top employee from the last month and Sona planned to have her join them afterwards as a reward although she didn't tell Issei yet.

"Fair skin, long black hair red eyes. He's wearing a black suit." The girl replied.
"Thank you Asuna. That will be all for now." Sona frowned not liking this one bit.
"Of course miss." The now named Asuna replied before bowing and leaving.
With the waitress gone, Issei looked at his date with a look of amusement, "I suppose I should see what our guest wants." Issei smiled.
"Are you sure? This doesn't feel right" Sona wondered.
"Yes and I'll go alone. This person called out to me and I don't want to cause a scene" Issei smiled before getting up from his seat. Issei gave Sona a quick peck on the cheek before walking towards the bar since he saw its location earlier. As they approached the bar, Issei could barely hide the look of annoyance on his face.
'That's' Ddraig said nervously shocked that this person would appear.
'I know' Issei replied as he gathered himself before sitting next to his guest.
"I'm surprised to see you alone Red Dragon Emperor. I thought for sure your date would come with you" The man said smoothly as the bartender returned with a glass of bourbon for him.
Issei twitched since this was a twist he really didn't expect, "I was curious and wanted to come alone but I'm beginning to regret that Kokabiel." Issei deadpanned. Of all the people to reach out to him, it would be the cadre.
"So you realized who I was." the now named Kokabiel chuckled before taking a sip of his drink and casting a small spell to insure they weren't bothered.
"You might be able to hide your aura, but your scent is another story. Raynare made the same mistake." Issei revealed appreciating the fact that they wouldn't be interrupted.
"Well at least it shows this generations heavenly dragons are both skilled."
"Thanks I guess." Issei deadpanned.
"Well enough about you and young Valerie. Aren't you a little bit curious why I called for you?" Kokabiel teased.
"No but since you dragged me away from my date, why not answer a question for me." Issei replied. Kokabiel would explain why he called in due time.
"Alright." Kokabiel smirked deciding to indulge in the game the two were already playing.
"If you wanted to kill Sona or Rias you could've done so already. Why even get Valper and Freed involved." Issei said bluntly. He had his suspicions but why not get answers from the horse's mouth.
"What would you do if I told you. You can't beat me and we both know that. I could destroy this entire town with a flick of my wrist." Kokabiel reminded him.
"I agree, which is why I'm surprised you're playing the long game." Issei acknowledged.
"I have my reasons. Just as I had my reasons for coming to see you tonight." Kokabiel explained taking another sip.
"And yet all we've done is trade verbal barbs." Issei retorted getting bored of this mind game that was being played.
Kokabiel realized Issei was getting bored and acted, "I wanted to tell you that My plan will commence on Saturday evening at that lovely school of yours. Valper will be there along with Freed so everything will be decided there and then. I would've gone to visit the Gremory but you're far more interesting than she is.
"Good to know." Issei replied before getting up. Sona was going to ask about his guest and she wouldn't be happy. The idea of ruining his date was not something he was a large fan of.
"Enjoy yourself while you can."
"Believe me I will." Issei replied. before returning to the VIP room.
When he returned, he noticed that his food was there and Sona was completely calm to his surprise, "So who wanted to speak with you?" Sona questioned. She was concerned and that was obvious and it made Issei even more hesitant to talk about what happened.
"I'll tell you after we finish eating. Our night would be ruined if I told you now." Issei smiled before sitting in his chair.
"Issei" Sona glared. She wasn't going to let Issei change the subject this time.
Issei realized that Sona wasn't going to let this go and relented, "Fine it was Kokabiel." Issei answered causing Sona's eyes to widen briefly.
"What did he have to say." Sona said calmly though internally she was freaking out.
"We exchanged barbs briefly but he told me that he plans to initiate his final plan Saturday night. So in two days" Issei replied.
"That must suck for you." Sona teased aware of his orgy Saturday's and the fact they would be ruined thanks to this.
"They're typically in the afternoon so I'll be fine." Issei dismissed. He'd have plenty of time to enjoy the girls before returning home to deal with Kokabiel.
"You truly are something else Issei." Sona smiled appreciating how easily he dismissed the battle. There he was about to have an orgy in the afternoon and fight a cadre at night. He was doing everything he could to continue his old lifestyle while being the Red Dragon Emperor.
"Thank you." Issei replied. With the conversation over, Issei and Sona finished their meal and when it was time to leave Sona called over their waitress and told her about the reward she was getting for her excellent service along with the tip that came with the meal. Neither Issei or Asuna complained and the night ended with Issei doing what he does best, making girls scream his name with pleasure.
