Chapter 15
(Town of Kuoh)
While the real Issei enjoyed Irina and Xenovia, his clone was making his way to class. 'The boss is lucky but he's gotta stay focused on the task at hand.' The clone thought to himself. Issei was trying to enjoy his childhood friend as much as he could and the clone knew that. Unfortunately, Kokabiel was still a threat and they had no idea what he was planning even though the key players were now revealed. As he approached the bridge leading to the school, the clone Issei was surprised to see Jeanne waiting for him.
"You're a little far from Nochizuri Jeanne." The clone said flatly.
"I wanted to talk to you about the current situation and I couldn't think of an easier way." Jeanne replied.
The clone rolled his eyes since he was pretty sure there were other ways, "Fine then let's go. I've still got to get to class" the clone shrugged as he began walking with Jeanne not far behind.
"How long should I have to worry about Kokabiel." Jeanne asked calmly.
"Considering we're the ones who are going to fight him, you don't have to worry at all." The clone retorted.
"Good point" Jeanne blushed.
"Anywho. His plan will be finished Saturday and after that is when things get fun. Unfortunately for you, that means that your little organization will probably be exposed." The clone explained causing Jeanne to freeze.
"What do you mean?" Jeanne said nervously.
Another smirk crept onto the clone's face knowing that Jeanne was trapped yet again, "I already know that whatever organization you're a part of has something to do with Kokabiel's actions even. A bit of investigating is all it will take for Azazel and the others to figure it out also."
Jeanne scowled, "So what does that mean for us." Jeanne wondered referring to their relationship.
"Nothing since I have your cover of you being my spy. It won't be easy to explain but I'll be fine." Issei replied. The fact she was more concerned about their relationship instead of her group being exposed was touching. Then again, her worry about being exposed was probably why she was so interested in this situation to begin with.
"Right" Jeanne sighed in relief.
"Since we're getting close to Kuoh, I think it's time to bring this conversation to an end. So I just have one question for you." the clone said calmly as they approached the gates to his school. He was getting some stares from people but that was to be expected.
Jeanne frowned since she knew what was going to be asked of her, "No I didn't help Kokabiel get into Kuoh. My group in the Khaos Brigade is called the Hero Faction while Kokabiel is working with a part of the Old Maou Faction. We're separate groups and we rarely interact despite being under the same umbrella." Jeanne explained.
"I see" the clone replied as they finally arrived at the gate to Kuoh.
Jeanne spun towards Issei with a mischveious smile on her face, "By the way I know you're a clone so I think I'll leave a message for the real you." Jeanne smiled but before Issei could ask what it was Jeanne kissed him on the lips.
'Message received.' The clone thought to itself before wrapping his arms around Jeanne's waist and responding to the kiss. The pair clashed tongues for about a minute before Jeanne pulled away.
"See ya around Issei." Jeanne smiled before leaving to return to Nochizuri. He was sure some rumors would spread about Jeanne being here and he'd have some annoying questions to deal with, but it was his life and that was common.

Lunchtime had arrived and the Issei clone was in his favorite classroom, but he was the one providing lunch instead of eating it. "Not bad Sakuya." Clone Issei smiled as he enjoyed a blowjob from his latest contest. Sakuya had fair skin light brown hair with matching brown eyes and a mid A cup bust. She was current wearing a light blue bra and panty set with her clothes off to the side. Seeing her confession in his locker this morning made him smile so before class started, he walked over to her homeroom and told her to meet him for lunch. He had a free lunch so it wasn't a big deal and Sakuya happily accepted.
"I… can't believe you chose me. I heard…. rumors you never went after first years. So… I thought I didn't have… a chance." Sakuya replied continuing her work.
The clone bent down to kiss her on the head so he could show his approval, "Well I accepted and now it's time for your reward." The clone smiled as he motioned towards the desk.
A blushing Sakuya nodded before stopping her actions, quickly getting up and moving towards the desk. Unfortunately, the door opened and in walked a scowling Reya. "Issei. We need to talk. NOW!" Reya yelled.
The clone Issei frowned because he had a feeling Reya was angry about what happened during the real Issei's date with Sona. "Can this wait till later Reya I'm a bit busy at the moment." The clone frowned.
Reya saw the nervousness on the first year's face and she had a feeling this was a new conquest. Unfortunately that didn't matter right now. "No it can't. Sorry about your new friend but this is important." Reya replied firmly.
The clone scowled but realized that Reya wasn't giving in, "Sorry Sakuya but I promise we'll pick this up at some point soon."
"Alright" Sakuya smiled bitterly as she got dressed before leaving Issei and Reya alone. After closing the door behind them Reya gave the clone what amounted to a glare for her.
"What were you thinking going to speak to Kokabiel like that?" Reya scowled.
"So it's my fault that he came to the restaurant Sona and I were at for our date and called me out." Issei answered aware.
"No but…" Reya protested but the clone wasn't having it.
The clone walked towards Reya who froze when he put a hand on her cheek, "Reya I get it, you're nervous like the others. Between Irina's reappearance and Kokabiel's actions you're worried about losing me. However Kokabiel isn't a problem otherwise we'd be gone already." The clone understood Reya's concern but it was handled.
"I'm sorry. I guess we're all tense right now." Reya said bashfully putting her head down in shame even as the clone's hand stayed in place.
The clone moved her head back up before kissing her on the head causing her to blush. He knew the real reason for her nerves and it wasn't Kokabiel, "Look, Irina will be gone after this weekend so stop worrying about your place at my side" the clone said confidently. Reya wasn't worried about Kokabiel per say; She was worried that the real Issei was being irrational because of Irina.
"Yes but… what happens if she stays." Reya said nervously.
"Then Irina will have to deal with things the way everyone else does. Besides, right now I'm giving Irina more than enough love to last her a few weeks" the clone chuckled. The real Issei was back with Irina and Xenovia enjoying them even now. Knowing the real Issei, he would probably continue until it was time to meet with the club which should prove what he has shown others. None of them can contain him alone.
Reya frowned but realized that Issei was disgustingly good at controlling things. The proof was the presence of the girls from the Phenex clan and the way he seduced their master, "Alright and I'm sorry." Reya relented.
"The one you should apologize to is poor Sakuya. Your interruption ruined her moment and that isn't. fair." Issei teased.
"I'll… I'll figure something out." Reya blushed aware she was right.
"Good. Now get going because lunch is about to end." Issei smiled. As Reya left the clone couldn't help but smile at the way things played out.
(Scene Skip)
The real Issei arrived in the middle of the ORC clubroom with a wicked smile on his face after the incredibly amusing day. He Irina and Xenovia had sex for most of the morning before taking a break for lunch and resuming afterwards. The only stopped an hour ago to shower and make sure the girls could move since they were meeting with Reya. "Hey everyone." Issei smiled cheekily. He was pleased to hear from his clone, but he did feel bad for the first year that was denied by Reya's interference. At least the clone walked her home before giving the girl a searing kiss just before she went inside her house. He would make sure to give her a proper date soon but that was it. Sadly the fun part of his day was over. If Reya knew about what happened during his date Rias would've found out also and that meant he had to explain what was going on.
"You've had quite the day but I suppose that's what happens when you clone yourself." Rias teased even though there was a large blush on her face.
"I can still smell them… freaking perverts." Koneko scowled causing Irina to blush.
'Seriously. We took a shower and everything." Irina blushed.
"Ufufufu you girls are lucky since you get to be all alone with Issei for most of the day. I wonder what would've happened if you didn't have to speak to us." Akeno teased causing blushes to appear on the faces of Rias Koneko and even the innocent Asia.
"They'd probably still be in bed. Then again I'm amazed those two can walk." Raynare admitted.
"I can't speak for Xenovia but I'm still pretty sore." Irina winced.
"So am I. issei's dick is huge and it feels so good in my pussy and my-"
"That's enough Xenovia." Issei interrupted aware they were getting off track.
"But" Xenovia protested to no avail.
'Xenovia we have to talk about Kokabiel. If you want to talk about my sex life, I'm sure the girls on that website about me would be thrilled." Issei deadpanned.
"Alright" Xenovia resigned.
"Anyway. I heard that you spoke to Kokabiel yesterday." Rias mentioned badly wanting to change the subject.
"Wait a minute, you're telling me you spoke with our enemy. How the heck did that happen." Irina said in disbelief.
"I was on my date with Sona and he apparently walked into the restaurant we were in and sat at the bar. He called me over and we spoke for a bit before I returned to my date." Issei said nonchalantly.
"You can't be serious." Koneko said flatly. It was hard to believe that Kokabiel would do something like that.
"Makes sense. Fallen love bars and honestly that seems like the type of thing Kokabiel would do." Raynare chuckled finding the whole thing hilarious.
"Yep. He said that it'll come to an end Saturday. Valper and Freed will also be there which means the Excalibur will also." Issei explained.
"So his plan commences in two days" Rias said calmly.
"Yep. Now it's simply a matter of gathering forces." Raynare frowned causing Rias to scowl.
"Yes and it may be time to talk to that sister of yours." Rias told Raynare causing her to scowl.
"Fuck no." Raynare cursed making her feelings clear.
"Why not" Rias questioned. Valerie was powerful and Rias was no fool.
"Because if we bring out Valerie there's a good chance Kokabiel is going to get serious and that isn't something any of us want." Raynare countered.
Rias frowned because she had a point but Issei wasn't convinced, "What makes you think he won't take us seriously to begin with." Issei questioned.
Raynare glared at him angrily, "At full power he could end all of us, but for some reason he's being patient. I don't want to give him a reason to change that."
"True." Issei smiled causing Rias to frown. This was a rotten situation but she was always going to be behind the eight ball against somebody like Kokabiel.
"Since Kokabiel wants the school let's give it to him. We'll meet at the hill not far from the school and go from there. The council will take care of the barrier so none of us need to worry about anything else." Rias said calmly.
"Sounds good to me." Issei smiled.
"Us too. We'll be ready to go." Irina smiled happily.
"Excellent. I'll see what Ravel has to say about getting some Phenex tears for us. Asia is good but she can't heal everybody." Rias said calmly.
"Alright" Issei replied with a smile, things were working out beautifully and although Saturday promised to be a headache it was something they would deal with as a team.
(Scene Skip)
"So Irina, what are you going to do once the mission ends." Xenovia wondered as the pair watched TV in the living room. Unlike the day before Issei went to school as his real self which meant they had time to kill. Considering the fun from yesterday it was a welcome break for the girls but the subject of their host was still an important one.
"We'll return to the church and that's that." Irina said quickly to the surprise of her partner.
"What about Issei? Don't you want to be with him" Xenovia wondered. It was amazing to see Irina so nonchalant about leaving considering what's happened.
Irina frowned because she hated the way things played out, "God planned it this way Xenovia. There's nothing I can do about it." Irina grumbled. When the mission as over they'd return to the church and she'd be separated from Issei. Their marathon the day before was mainly because Irina wanted to enjoy Issei for as long as possible knowing precisely that. She was pretty sure Issei knew as much which is why he went along with it.
"You don't believe that Irina" her partner replied flatly. Xenovia was reluctant to leave Issei's side and that was after the little time they'd been together. There was no way that Irina, who had a history with Issei, would be able to dismiss things as easily. Irina was about to respond but the doorbell rung to their surprise.
"I'll get it" Irina said calmly glad for the distraction. Opening the door, she was surprised to find an unfamiliar girl in casual clothes.
"Who are you?" Irina said with a look of confusion.
"My name is Genevieve Arcana. You don't know me, but Issei does and I'm here to make your life a whole lot easier Ms Shidou." The now revealed Jeanne said calmly.
Irina was taken aback that she knew about her and the fact she was here, "How will you make my life easier." Irina said with an odd expression on her face. Whoever this girl was she knew Issei and she was certainly connected to the supernatural.
"Let me in and I'll show you. The fact that I came to you means you can trust me" Jeanne continued.
Irina didn't like it but in the back of her head she allowed it, "Alright" Irina smiled as she walked back with Jeanne not far behind.
"Irina what was… it" Xenovia said curiously before seeing the other girl with him.
"Good. It looks like you and your partner are here and that means this is much easier." Jeanne smiled before casting a magic circle.
"Shit" Irina cursed quickly switching her bracelet to Excalibur Mimic. She was about to attack when Jeanne spoke up.
"Put that blade away you idiot. I'm using magic to show you what I was talking about" Jeanne chided as the magic circle faded to reveal a surprisingly long box.
Irina calmed down but she was still a little tense, "What am I supposed to think when you cast magic after saying that it's easier to see me and my partner. Don't forget that this isn't my house and you somehow know about me and my partner when I have no idea who you are" Irina questioned angrily ignoring the box in favor of calling out the blonde in front of them.
"Good point" Jeanne admitted with a slight blush before opening the box. "I think this should more than make up for me being a bit of an idiot." Jeanne said calmly as the contents of the box were revealed. Two very familiar and ornate swords.
"It can't be" Irina exclaimed.
"That's right. Excalibur Nightmare and Excalibur Transparency and they're all yours on one condition." Jeanne offered.
"What's the condition." Irina wondered nervously. She loved that she had the Excalibur's and how this girl had taken them was beyond her. However, the fact she was simply giving them up was hard to ignore.
"You DON'T tell Issei that I'm the one who gave them to you." Jeanne said nervously.
Irina looked at the girl in disbelief, "You do realize this is Issei we're talking about." Irina chided. This girl was being ridiculous. Issei knew that Irina wasn't reckless enough to attack Kokabiel's base on her own to get the blades. There was no way to hide the truth from him.
"I don't know what to tell you. Just figure something out. I did this for Issei, but if he knows I did it he'll be pissed at me." Jeanne complained.
Irina looked at the girl in disbelief, "So you'd rather him get pissed at me!" Irina retorted.
"That's enough you two." Xenovia said calmly finally intervening before staring at the blonde, "Irina is right. Issei knows about you and he knows that Irina isn't reckless enough to attack Kokabiel without him. It won't take long for him to connect the dots especially since he knows you." Xenovia replied saying what Irina was no doubt thinking.
Jeanne cursed because Xenovia was right. It wasn't as though she didn't reveal her own interest in the case. "Then just keep it from the devils." Jeanne relented.
"That I can agree with." Irina smiled.
"Then the Excalibur are yours" Jeanne confirmed before dropping the box on the ground.
"One more question." Irina asked curiously.
"What?" Jeanne scowled hoping to get going since she was using her break from class to do this.
"How did you manage to get the blades in the first place. I can't imagine Freed and Valper would give themselves up so easily" Irina couldn't help but ask.
"By tracking the Holy aura from the blades I found Freed and Valper's hideout but for obvious reasons, I couldn't attack them with Kokabiel around. Luckily for me, a few nights ago he left to do something which gave me an opening. I snuck into the base, killed Freed and Valper and stole the blades." Jeanne explained. She had some help but keeping that a secret was in her best interests.
Irina was shocked by her plan and a part of her appreciated the deviousness, "Alright. As promised, we won't tell the devils and I'll try to keep it from Issei also." Irina accepted. There was holes in her story but they had the blades and that was all that mattered.
"Thanks" Jeanne replied before leaving just like that.
Once Jeanne was gone Xenovia finally spoke up, "You realize that girl is hiding something right?" Xenovia warned.
"Oh yeah, but we got the blades and that means our mission is done." Irina chuckled. It was far easier than they planned but she wasn't about to complain.
"Alright but we really should tell Issei." Xenovia wondered.
"I'll think about it." Irina smiled. She wasn't going to say anything unless Issei brought it up and even then, she'd hide Jeanne's involvement. Kiba's past with the swords meant that he was a liability for the final battle and any type of liability would be seized upon by Kokabiel. This way they only had to focus on the big boss.
(Scene Skip)
Rias frowned as she stood with the rest of her group ready for a spar. With the battle the next day she had one more concern before they fought Kokabiel and that was seeing how they worked together. The only time she saw Issei fight was the battle against Riser and that was over so quickly that she had no idea how he fought. To fix that, Rias asked Issei to spar with Koneko and Kiba in the clearing on the side of the ORC. Ironically, the one that Issei and his perverted buddies used to stare at her.
"So Issei are you ready." Rias said calmly. Issei stood in front of Kiba and Koneko in a red shirt and black tracksuit pants as calm as could be. Kiba was across from him wearing the full black tracksuit with a white shirt. Koneko was in her uniform but that hardly bothered Issei. A smiling Raynare along with Irina and Xenovia also watched the spar. A part of her wanted to spar with the two swordswomen but seeing as how their only weapons were Excalibur, it would be best not to trigger Kiba.
"Yeah. Let's do this" Issei smiled. Getting a battle in before the big one would be nice and since they only needed to see his fighting style he was just fine.
"You ready Issei. I must admit a part of me is excited about this." Kiba smiled as he created a blue blade.
"I agree. Kuoh's top two men facing off should be fun." Issei smiled as he motioned for Kiba to come at him without taking a stance.
"Battle begin" Akeno shouted causing the battle to start. Kiba charged straight at him at an impressive speed aiming a basic frontal slash that Issei easily dodged.
"Not bad" Issei said calmly though he didn't look to counter as Kiba regained himself.
"Thank you but you're not using your sacred gear. That's not very sporting." Kiba smiled before charging again.
"Who cares about sporting it's a fight." Issei replied calmly as he easily dodged the next attack.
"Issei come on take him seriously." Irina frowned as she watched from the sidelines.
"Yeah this is no fun." Xenovia added.
Issei ignored the girls and once again kept dodging the attacks, but Kiba stayed on him. He honestly didn't care and he could end it at any time but he was curious as well. As long as he had known the ORC, he'd never seen them fight and so far, he was disappointed by Kiba and how bland his style was. "Oh come on Kiba I'm not even trying yet." Issei chuckled but then his senses picked up a second person about to join the fray.
"What about now" Koneko frowned her battle gloves on and ready.
"Bring it." Issei smiled with glee as Koneko charged him along with Kiba. With Koneko joining the fray it got a little harder but only a little. Their coordination was impressive but Issei had raw speed on his side and he easily dodged their combined attacks.
"Unbelievable. He's just toying with them." Rias said in disbelief. The battle with Riser showed her that Issei was strong but this was just insane. Without flying, even she and Akeno would have a little trouble dealing with Kiba and Koneko's coordinated attacks but Issei managed to control the fight the whole time.
"As frustrating as ever" Irina sighed as if recalling a bitter memory.
"You mean you've seen him fight." Raynare said with a bit of surprise.
Irina gave what amounted to a flat look towards the fallen, "My dad was the one who taught Issei how to fight but instead of restricting him to his style, he allowed him to pick a style that works disgustingly well with his sacred gear." Irina said calmly. Issei's style was to use his speed to get used to an opponent's battle style. Once he figured that out, he would use the boosted gear and boost until he was ready for a major strike and he typically did so. She knew his stamina was through the roof and that meant he often controlled the flow of battle.
"So when's he going to take it seriously." Akeno wondered. A part of her wanted to join the fray since Issei was still having very little trouble with Koneko.
"He is taking it seriously but it's just frustrating to watch because he's so in control." Irina smiled as Issei dodged the latest strikes from Kiba who along with Koneko was panting with frustration.
"Quit moving around." Koneko frowned.
"Why would I do that. This is still a fight after all." Issei lectured.
"I'll show you" Koneko growled before charging him yet again.
Issei was having very little trouble with the pair but it was time to wrap thing up, 'Time to teach Koneko a…. ahh that'll do.' Issei thought to himself as he focused on both parties at once trying to wait for the right moment. When Koneko got within his range he grabbed her arm and flung her towards a shocked Kiba who was preparing for his own attack. Since there wasn't enough time to dodge, Koneko collided with Kiba sending both to the ground as Issei looked on without a care.
"Incredible" Rias gasped once again. Issei was dominating the pair of them and without his sacred gear no less. To say that this wasn't going as planned would be an understatement and this was a horrible look for her.
As for Issei, he was disappointed by how easily he dominated them. There was no doubt that part of it was due to them not having a proper area to fight but it was still a letdown, "Kiba you fight too much like a knight." Issei sighed with annoyance.
"What's that supposed to mean." Kiba grumbled as he got to his feet.
"Straightforward attacks will never work against somebody like me. I'm simply too fast for you and you should've realized that. If you want a chance of even damaging me, you'll have to come up with something special." Issei replied.
Kiba got to his feet and growled with annoyance. Kiba had his pride and Issei had finally hit a mark. Focusing himself he got rid of the simply blade he was using and summoned a black blade with a golden guard that he held with two hands. "How's this on for size. This is my Holy Eraser and it's not some simple weapon."
"That's all fine and good but no matter the weapon it won't do you any good if you can't hit me." Issei reminded him.
"I know" Kiba replied vanishing yet again. This time with much more speed.
"Interesting." Issei smiled before dodging yet again.
"It's not much of a fight if I'm the only one attacking." Kiba smiled as his assault continued.
"Yeah but you're not hitting me so I'm fine." Issei smiled. In the end his new blade would do him no good until he managed to hit him.
"Issei stop screwing around. Show them what you can do already." Irina shouted ruining his fun.
"Good grief." Issei groaned before getting into his stance.
"Finally fighting back huh." Kiba smiled stopping for a moment.
"Yep." Issei smiled before vanishing in a burst of speed.
"What the" Kiba said in shock not expecting him to be that fast.
A smiling Issei appeared inside Kiba's guard with a vicious smile, "It's time for Round 2 Kiba. DING DING" Issei chuckled before slamming his fist into Kiba's stomach with a sickening crunch.
"Ouch" Irina winced seeing the look of pain on the blonde knight's face from the brutal attack.
"Ufufufu that has to hurt." Akeno chuckled as Kiba hit the floor.
"Incredible" Kiba gasped not expecting Issei to hit that hard.
"You okay pretty boy?" Issei said nonchalantly
"Yeah. You win." Kiba winced as he struggled to get up after the single punch. The fact he was that powerful without his sacred gear was terrifying and he knew there was no way he'd win their spar.
Issei smiled before turning to Rias, "Was that enough for you." Issei smirked.
"No but seeing as how we don't want anybody worn out, I think I'll stop." Rias frowned. Issei was truly an enigma and all she knew was he was powerful.
"Good because I feel like going home. I've got a long day ahead of me tomorrow." Issei smiled.
"Ufufufu you're really going to do an orgy Saturday before the big battle. Are you sure about that?" Akeno teased.
"I'll be fine" Issei replied before walking away with the same calm expression as always.
"He's infuriating, but at least he's on our side." Rias muttered. Kiba was no slouch and he took every attack Kiba could throw at him before beating him with a single punch which meant that in a real battle, they'd be useless and she and Akeno weren't very good at close combat which meant he had her peerage trapped. As for the others, he was sleeping with Sona and half of her peerage along with Ravel and the fallen. In a backwards way, he was as dangerous as Kokabiel and Rias really didn't like it.
(Scene Skip)
Later that night, Issei was relaxing in his room alone for once. Irina and Xenovia both agreed to save the cuddling since Issei needed to get some rest since he would be busy with his orgy day tomorrow. Because of that, Issei found his mind wander into a very interesting place, "Hey Ddraig what do you remember about God?" Issei wondered.
"Honestly partner it's been a long time since I thought about him. Why do you ask." Ddraig wondered.
Issei was glad Irina was in the other room because what he was currently thinking was not a pleasant thought, "Irina always spoke of God as a wonderful person who would help those who serve him, but I can't believe he'd have allowed Valper's project to go on among other things." Issei replied. The Holy Sword Project was a horrible event and if God was the type of person Irina thought he was, there was no way he'd have let it go without stepping in. At least that's how he looked at it.
"I don't know what to tell you partner. The last I saw of God was when he sealed Albion and I away." Issei frowned.
"I see so you don't… oh no." Issei gasped coming to a horrible realization.
"What's wrong partner." Ddraig said nervously.
"I realized what Kokabiel's plan is and I need to talk to Azazel now!" Issei said in a panic before springing up and grabbing his clothes.
"Partner what's wrong! What's his plan?" Ddraig panicked.
"I'll tell you in a second." Issei said hastily as he got dressed. Once he did, he activated a magic circle and appeared in front of Azazel's home.
"Partner! Please tell me what's wrong?" Ddraig said nervously.
'One moment.' Issei exclaimed before knocking on the door. After waiting a moment the door opened and Kalawarner opened the door.
"What are you doing here? You don't have a date with any of us unless you asked out Valerie when we weren't paying attention."
"I need to speak with Azazel as soon as possible." Issei said with a nervous expression on his face.
Kalawarner saw Issei's expression and realized he wasn't playing, "Alright. Is it safe to assume this is private business?" Kalawarner said calmly.
"Yes" Issei replied as Kalwarner let him in. Without any words said between the two Kalawarner brought him to Azazel's room.
"Lord Azazel, Issei Hyoudou is here to speak to you and it's private business." Kalawarner said calmly. After a few moments the door opened with Azazel in his kimono.
"Come on in Issei and thank you Kalawarner." Azazel said calmly before leading Issei into the simple room. It was his gaming room so Azazel had a large chair with a gaming setup that would be the envy of most men. Four large TV's that were set up together, with two black beanbag chairs and two black regular couch chairs for somebody to use. As a gamer Issei could appreciate the setup but now wasn't the time to discuss it.
"Sorry to interrupt, but I have important news." Issei said nervously.
"Of course but sit down." Azazel smiled as he sat in one of the beanbag chairs while Issei took a couch chair.
Issei calmed himself sitting in the chair before focusing on the Fallen Angel leader, "I have a theory on Kokabiel's plan and I need you to confirm or deny something." Issei said sternly.
"What is it?" Azazel asked with his expression getting more serious. He sensed him coming earlier which is why he was so relaxed but now it was clear that Issei realized something big.
"I need you to tell me if the Biblical God is dead?" Issei said calmly.
The normally calm Azazel could barely hide his shock before he took a deep breath, "God is dead but I'm curious how in the world you figured it out." Azazel said calmly. This was a secret known by only a few high-ranking members of the supernatural world and yet Issei appears to have realized it out of nowhere.
"It occurred to me that events like the Holy Sword Project should've never happened if the Biblical God was truly watching over everything. I believe he would've stepped in long before valper decided to kill his test subjects and save them. Then there's Asia's incident which strikes me as something he would've also stopped" Issei said calmly.
Azazel couldn't help but look at him in disbelief, "Well you're right but now to the real question. How does Kokabiel's plan relate to God's death unless… no." Azazel gasped having realized something himself.
Issei smiled because Azazel figured it out and saved him the trouble, "That's right. He's going to reveal the death of God to Rias and the others. With them knowing such a high-profile secret it's going to cause all sorts of chaos." Issei finished.
Azazel had a look of pure fury in his eyes since that would be a major issue for reasons far beyond what Issei could've imagined, "Damn it. That means we need to stop him now." Azazel frowned.
"Then I'll confront him alone." Issei said firmly. Rias and her group were no match for Kokabiel and Irina learning about God's death would be a disaster. Luckily, Freed was no match for him and that meant he mainly had to focus on Kokabiel.
"No or at least you can't do it alone." Azazel said calmly.
"Does that mean you are going to join me." Issei questioned.
"No. We'll get Valerie to do it." Azazel replied.
"Works for me" Issei smiled as the pair walked over to the White Dragon Empresses room in order to knock on the door.
"Valerie, open up right now." Azazel said firmly.
"Bad time Zaz. I'm kinda busy." Valerie shouted.
"I have a mission for you and the Red Dragon Emperor and before you ask, he's right here also." Azazel said firmly.
Azazel's words seemed to hit their mark, "Shit! Give me a second." Valerie said hastily. The pair waited outside for a few minutes before Valerie opened the door wearing her typical outfit looking incredibly calm.
"That was way more than a second Valerie." Azazel smiled.
"Let's talk in your office." Valerie replied with a pout.
"Fine by me." Azazel chuckled as he led the two to his office. Azazel's office was a simple room with a large circular table and a few chairs with paintings all around. Azazel sat down while Valerie and Issei stood up.
"So what's this business." Valerie scowled.
Azazel's expression turned dark before focusing on Valerie, "According to Issei here, Kokabiel is going to reveal a secret that simply can't be revealed. I need you two to go over to Kokabiel's base and finish him now." Azazel said sternly.
Valerie was stunned but seeing as how Issei was there it was a safe assumption he was involved, "It's late at night Zaz. Can't we do this in the morning."
"We could but you and Issei will have to work quickly. I don't want the devils involved in this mess." Azazel insisted.
"Fine by me." Issei said calmly.
"Alright then we'll reconvene early tomorrow." Azazel said in a more relaxed tone.
"Cool. Now I need to get some sleep." Valerie cursed before returning to her room.
"Well I guess that's it" Azazel smiled.
"Yep" Issei replied calmly before moving to leave.
(Scene Skip)
Despite what Issei agreed to verbally, he had no intention of waiting until the morning to attack. After leaving Azazel's house he used his magic to go to Kokabiel's base; an abandoned amphitheater on the outer edges of Kuoh. When he arrived, Issei flared his magic and he could barely hide his frown. Kokabiel was here but he couldn't sense Freed and the Holy power that he would associate with Excalibur was nowhere to be found, "What's going on. The Holy power in this area has dropped significantly." Issei said in confusion.
"Yes and although we knew he had a partner. I don't sense that partner or that crazy priest either." Ddraig spoke up.
Issei was about to reply but he couldn't since Kokabiel appeared from the inside of the amphitheater. The fallen leader was wearing ornate black robes with detailed accessories which Issei suspected was his actual outfit, "You know it's very rude to come over uninvited especially when we already agreed I'd start my plan tomorrow."
"Let's just say I figured out your plan and I decided that I'm going to cancel it." Issei said firmly. There was no way he was going to let Irina find out about God's death and if it meant fighting Kokabiel alone that's what he would do.
A vicious grin formed on Kokabiel's face at the words, "And what exactly are you going to do about my plans. We both know that you can't beat me alone and even if you could you'd have to hide what's going on from the devils watching and I doubt you're capable of both." Kokabiel taunted.
"Partner he's right. We have the power to give him the fight he craves, but doing so would require a powerful barrier and one the likes of which only the Sitri can perform." Ddraig said nervously.
"Maybe so but I have no choice." Issei growled as he got into his stance.
Kokabiel chuckled at Issei's actions, "You're more foolish then I ever imagined Red Dragon Emperor but if you wish to face me very well. Seeing as how Valper is dead along with Freed, I can humor you a bit and before you say something, I didn't kill them. I came back from our meeting at the bar and they were gone. There were traces of a battle but I can't say who or what killed."
"You're joking." Issei replied his stance broken from the shock.
"I wish I was. I would've loved to see that knight confront Valper, but oh well. I'll have to settle for facing you." Kokabiel said gleefully.
"Alright let's do this." Issei replied as he got bac into his stance ready to fight.
'Partner we're going to use that aren't we.'
'Yeah' Issei shouted before focusing his magic. If Sona or one of the others was awake it wouldn't take long for them to sense his presence but he had no choice. "Get ready Kokabiel. I'm about to show you the true power of the Red Dragon. BAL-" Issei started to say before a magic circle appeared next to him. To his surprise it was silver and out popped Valerie dressed in her Leather jacket and a second girl who looked to be about 13 wearing a grey blazer with blue accents and white shirt that barely held back a decent sized bust, along with a black skirt and black shoes. Finishing her outfit was blue cape and blue witch's hat. "I hate to interrupt the fight but I've gotta take this dumbass dragon home Koky." Valerie smiled.
"I'm afraid not Valerie. This one here challenged me knowing the risks." Kokabiel smiled. In other words, he wasn't going to leave peacefully.
"Damn it all. Le Fay make us a barrier." Valerie groaned.
"Are you sure?" the now named Le Fay replied.
"I'd rather not but we have no choice" Valerie frowned. Azazel was going to be furious at her later, but she had no choice in the matter. Issei insisted on this fight and that meant even if she tried to take him back, he might try and fight her which is the last thing either of them needed.
"Fine but I don't like it." Le Fay pouted before summoning a broom and flying a fair distance away before creating a barrier around them that would ensure the power from the battle didn't bleed out.
"I don't either" Valerie replied before getting into her stance.
"Is it time to fight." Kokabiel smiled.
"Yeah" Issei smiled as he prepared for battle.
"Rival don't you dare hold back in this one." Valerie taunted as she focused herself ready for battle.
"I wasn't planning to." Issei replied doing the same.
"Now this. This is what I've been waiting for. The White and Red Dragon Emperor's working together against little old me." Kokabiel smiled.
"That's right and we won't lose" Valerie smiled. The final battle was underway and the fate of Kuoh was at stake even if nobody realized it at the time.
(Hyoudou Residence)
Irina Shidou would admit to being nervous about the upcoming battle and despite her promise to not bother Issei the night before, she couldn't help but sneak over to Issei's room to cuddle. Unfortunately for her, when she opened the door, she was surprised to find that Issei was missing. Looking around the room she realized that Issei's sleep clothes were on the floor while his phone was on his desk. That meant one thing and it was not a good one. "That idiot" Irina cursed as she ran back to her room to wake up her partner.
"Xenovia wake up." Irina said angrily shaking her partner awake.
"What's wrong Irina." Xenovia yawned.
"That idiot went to fight Kokabiel alone." Irina frowned.
"What!" Xenovia gasped her eyes shooting open.
"I don't know why he did but he did. That idiot doesn't stand a chance against Kokabiel alone and that means we have to move or he's as good as dead" Irina frowned as she quickly undressed herself and ran for her gear to get ready to aide her childhood friend.
"Right" Xenovia nodded and in moments she and Irina had their church battle suits on and were ready to go. She had no idea why Issei was doing something so reckless but as his childhood friend she would do whatever she could to help him.
