"Keep going Katase" Issei smiled as he relaxed on the chair in his sex room as a naked Katase gave him a blowjob. Katase was his lunch date for today, but food was the last thing on Katase's mind.

"Because of Irina, right?" Katase said with a frown.

"Sort of. Irina reminded me of how things were, but she and I both came to an understanding." Issei replied calmly.

"What's that" Katase wondered.

As much as he really didn't want to, Issei made his way towards the ORC. Well one of his clones did. He needed to see what Gasper could do before he decided what to do about the young man. Opening the door to the clubroom he was pleased to see that everyone was there, "What are you doing here Issei?" Rias said nervously.

"I wanted to see this mysterious bishop of yours" Issei smiled staring at Gasper so he stayed quiet. As far as everyone knew he hadn't met Gasper and he needed to keep up that illusion.

"I see" Rias said hesitantly. Rias didn't trust him at all, and it showed in her eyes.

"So, when are we going to have a date Issei?" Akeno purred.

"Talk to Momo. She schedules my dates for me remember." Issei replied nonchalantly. He knew Akeno was eager to see him.

"Got it" Akeno smiled knowing she would do just that.

Rias frowned, but quickly focused on the task at hand. "Issei this is Gasper and he's actually a half-vampire" Rias said calmly before pointing to the young man.

"Hey there" Gasper replied timidly a knowing look in his eyes.

'Good, the kid knows to stay quiet.' Issei thought to himself. "Hello Gasper."

"How… how do you know Ms Rias." Gasper wondered.

"Rias and I are associates. Think of me as a consultant of sorts." Issei replied causing Rias to twitch at how he described their relationship.

"I see. Are you a devil?" Gasper wondered.

"No, just a very powerful human." Issei replied.

"Okay" Gasper replied.

"So Gasper, what can you do?" Issei wondered.

"I can stop time." Gasper said timidly causing Issei's eyes to widen.

"Repeat that" Issei wondered.

"I can stop time. I'm really bad with it, but I can stop time for a little bit." Gasper said nervously.

Issei was stunned but tried to keep his cool. That type of power was incredibly valuable and if he mastered it, Rias would be a powerhouse, "That's awesome Gasper. What a cool power." Issei's clone said calmly.

"Thank you" Gasper replied.

"So now that you've seen Gasper, what are you going to do?" Rias wondered.

"I guess I could stay and watch you guys train. The boss wouldn't want to be interrupted so soon." The clone smiled.

"I see" Rias said awkwardly. Issei sent a clone to visit her which meant that as usual he didn't care about her group.

"That's perfect. I want to show Issei my sword." Xenovia smiled.

"Hmm what sword is that?" Issei wondered.

Xenovia smiled before chanting slightly as a magic circle appeared next to her before pulling out a uniquely shaped broadsword with a blue blade and a golden edge. The sword has a semicircular guard on the left side of the handle that extends to the bottom just above the pommel, with a small extension on the right side of the handle, "This is Durandal and it's my true blade. Excalibur was an alternate weapon." Xenovia revealed.

"I look forward to seeing how you fight." The clone replied also.

"And I want to show you what I can do also." Kiba said calmly.

"Yeah. I want a rematch" Koneko chuckled.

"Fine but I don't think I'll take it as easy as I did last time." Issei smiled. He could tell Rias's peerage was eager to face him again. They were left out of the Kokabiel fight and he was pretty sure that there were some hurt feelings. Not that he cared.

Rias smiled since this was a chance to see what Issei could really do. He fought against Kokabiel but none of them saw the battle and his match against Riser didn't really show too much. "Then let's go" Rias smiled as she got up and walked downstairs. With Issei's clone not far behind.

"I'm curious how strong you really are. I mean you beat Kokabiel but none of us got to see it." Akeno teased.

"I had help from Valerie and she's seriously strong." the clone smiled.

"Ufufufu so modest. I remember how you fought when you beat Riser and it was so different from what you showed us in that spar the other day." Akeno purred.

Issei's clone frowned at the teasing, but knew she needed a metaphorical bone, "My battle style is typically to analyze your style and then attack based on that. With Riser I just wanted to get it over with." the clone admitted.

"Ufufufu. Sounds like fun." Akeno purred.

"Perhaps this time I'll show you just how good I really am." The clone smiled. It wasn't ideal but he would do this to prove his dominance and let out a little bit of annoyance.

The group eventually made its way to a small grassy area right on the side of the building. There was plenty of area for them to fight here. "Alright Issei clone, time to see what you can do." Rias smiled.

"Alright. I can't go all out because you guys aren't as good as Sona at making barriers, but I can give it a good show."

"We'll see" Kiba smiled as he got up to fight. Just like last time it was clear Koneko was waiting in the wings and the same was true of Xenovia.

"Battle begin" Rias shouted.

"Alright Issei let's see what you've- UGHH" Kiba started to say before Issei used his speed to get in front of him and slam him in the gut sending him to the floor.

"What the" Rias gasped at the display of pure speed.

"Is that all" Issei chuckled.

"Ufufufu not bad" Akeno smiled.

"He's good" Koneko muttered unsure of what else to say. Kiba was the fastest of their little group and if Issei was so fast that even Kiba couldn't detect it, they had a problem. Say nothing of his strength since he floored Kiba with one punch.

"I knew you were strong, but this is unbelievable." Xenovia said with shock.

"Nice shot" Kiba grunted as he stood up.

"Thanks. Now I guess I'll give you guys a turn. You have 3 minutes to knock me out without me defending against you. I'll still dodge but that's it." Issei smiled.

"Why you!" Koneko growled hating how she was being underestimated.

"If you don't like it, do something about it." Issei smiled.

"If you say so" Koneko replied before charging and Issei simply smiled as she got close and moved out of the way.

"You are far too slow Koneko. Unless your opponent wants to brawl also, you'll never win against somebody with any type of speed." Issei lectured but he was forced to dodge a strike from Kiba.

"How's that" Kiba said proudly.

"Predictable actually. I leave an opening and you attack it. However, if I had wanted to, I could've still gotten you. By the way Xenovia, when are you coming into the battle?" Issei smiled.

"I…" Xenovia sighed

"Ahh that explains it. You can't control Durandal's power output and in a group battle like this that's dangerous since it's a Holy Sword." Issei smiled.

"Uffufu stay focused Issei." Akeno chided.

"Yeah yeah" Issei smirked before dodging another attack from Koneko.

"How?" Koneko growled.

"I'm fast and I'm smart enough to always pay attention to my surroundings. You guys are too linear in your fighting style."

"Huh?" Rias wondered.

"It means that… you're too straightforward. If… your opponent doesn't go toe for toe with you... you can't win." Issei smiled as he continued to dodge as he lectured them. "Most battles aren't going to be straightforward… and it means… that in order to win… you need… to be able to adjust." Issei lectured continuously dodging the strikes of Koneko and Kiba.

"Uffufufu should I join then?" Akeno purred.

"No because group work isn't your strong suit. I imagine if you joined, you'd be just as likely to hit Koneko or Kiba as you would me." Issei smiled.

"Ufufufu care to bet on that?" Akeno chuckled although it was clear she didn't appreciate the comment.

"No. I'm too sadistic for even you Akeno." Issei smirked.

Akeno glared at Issei and Rias wasn't pleased either, "Koneko Kiba stop." Rias ordered and the two relaxed for a bit before returning to Rias's side.

"I get the feeling you have an idea Rias." Issei said curiously.

"I do actually and think you'll appreciate this. The four of us will work together to try and get a single hit on you. If we win, you owe each of us a favor. If you win, we owe you a favor." Rias suggested.

"Alright but on two conditions." Issei smiled.

"Really" Rias gasped not expecting that.

"That's right. The first condition is that only the person who hits me gets to earn the favor."

"That's… fine." Rias frowned. She didn't like that, but it was okay.

"The second condition is that if Rias is the one who wins she cannot ask for me to join the peerage." Issei said firmly.

"That's!" Rias gasped.

"If you can't agree to both conditions I walk." Issei said firmly. He could see that Rias was furious at that and it spoke to what he long suspected about her.

"Ufufufu I have no problem with that." Akeno smiled.

"Same here. I just wanna punch him." Koneko scowled.

Rias sighed since her peerage was up for it, "I agree Issei." Rias said reluctantly.

"Then how about I give you guys a few minutes to think before we begin." Issei suggested.

"That's fine with me." Rias suggested.

While the Gremory group stood in wait, Issei's clone smiled wondering what would happen. 'So Rias, how will you deal with me this time? You only need to get a hit to win.' Issei thought to himself. Without the second condition her plan would be obvious. Her peerage would make an opening for Rias to get the hit and then she could get him as a peerage member. The fact she winced so badly when he took his servitude off the board was predictable, but the lack of motivation was also pretty disappointing, "Are you ready Rias?" Issei wondered.

"Yes" Rias smiled as they looked at him ready to roll.

"Alright guys let's go" Issei smiled as he stared them down. The first move was to Rias and Akeno as they opened their wings and flew towards the sides their magic primed. 'Nice idea but you'll have to do way better than that.' Issei thought to himself as he noticed Kiba sneaking towards him at speed. It was a good strategy in theory but not in practice.

"Take this" Kiba smiled as he aimed a slash at Issei.

If Issei dodged the attack he'd leave himself open to Rias or Akeno's magic attacks depending on which way he moved. The counter was easy, just grab Kiba's arm and toss him towards Rias which he easily pulled off.

"What the" Rias gasped and Issei used that momentum to focus on Akeno who surprisingly didn't attack.

'Ufuffuu, nice job but we're not done.' Akeno smiled.

"You mean this" Issei smiled as he dodged Koneko's attack and grabbed her before tossing her at Akeno.

"Yes" Akeno teased before catching Koneko. She loved how Issei was toying with them and it just made her more eager to hit him

Issei noticed that the newest member wasn't there, "Are you joining us Xenovia?" Issei wonder3ed.

"No because of what you said."

"I see." Issei frowned slightly before dodging a lightning bolt from Akeno.

"Ufufufu. I thought I had you." Akeno smiled.

"Not quite." Issei smiled before focusing on a now regrouped Gremory peerage.

"So Issei, ready for round 2." Rias smiled.

"Yes, but I'm afraid it won't end in your favor just like Round 1." Issei smiled as they prepared to go at it again. For thirty more minutes, Rias and her group would try and catch Issei and for 30 more minutes they'd fail.

"How? How are you so good" Rias gasped trying to gather herself. She did everything in her power to get at Issei but none of it worked.

The clone looked up at the group and smiled before giving her the answer, "The answer is very simple Rias. When I was younger, I decided to get stronger in order to protect the girls in my life from the supernatural. Your group has strength and potential but right now they don't have a single thought of their own. You have ambition, that much is obvious, but they don't. Until they have a reason to get stronger, they will never be able to beat me." With its work done, the clone vanished in a puff of smoke leaving Rias more annoyed than ever.

A smiling Issei couldn't help but relax as he enjoyed another date. The restaurant he chose this time was a simple place, whose ambiance was as relaxed as could be. issei was dressed in a black dress shirt with matching slacks which was fancy for him but considering his company he couldn't help it, "So tell me Kalawarner how have you been." Issei smiled as he looked at his date for the evening.

"It's been fine, but you're in a surprisingly chipper mood." Kalawarner smiled back. She was wearing a dark black dress that hugged her curves perfectly showing off her wonderful body.

'When your clone kicks an entire peerages ass without using your sacred gear it makes you smile.' Issei thought to himself. "I had a good afternoon."

"Was that with whatever club you were screwing at the time or because of something else." Kalawarner replied with a smile as they waited for their meal.

"Both actually. I got to enjoy the lovely cheerleading club while my clone beat Rias like a drum." Issei smiled viciously. His clone only went to check on Gasper, but it devolved as things tend to do when he deals with Rias. The fact she tried to manipulate the situation to add him to her peerage didn't sit well with Issei.

"Why can't you and that Gremory devil just fuck already and call it a day. This tit for tat between you two is getting old." Kalawarner growled sipping her wine.

"I've made my feelings about Rias very clear." Issei replied firmly.

"Yes, and they're not going to do you any good. Things are about to get crazy in the supernatural world and that means you'll have to work with Rias." Kalawarner countered.

"I'm aware of that. I'm just making sure to constantly remind her of the pecking order." Issei chuckled.

"Yes, and that's the problem. I may not see you as much as the others but flaunting your dominance doesn't strike me as the type of thing you enjoy doing. Sex, you enjoy. Actively putting someone down, not so much." Kalawarner replied.

Issei frowned because things were going south, "So Kalawarner, why are you so eager to ruin the mood?" Issei smiled.

Kalawarner smiled back before dropping quite the bomb on Issei, "I'm the liaison between the fallen angels and the devils. That means it's in my best interest to see that you and Rias get along"

Issei had to hold back a curse, "So you want me to play nice with Rias and the devils for the sake of future peace."

"That's right. Besides if you think about it you get something out of this also." Kalawarner reminded him.

"And that is" Issei said with a raised eyebrow.

"The Gremory heiress screaming your name, begging you to stuff more of that massive cock of yours into her twat. I'm sure that will be enough to get rid of any bad blood between you two." Kalwarner answered with a vicious smile.

Issei certainly enjoyed the idea of Rias doing exactly that but there was a very good reason he hasn't slept with her, "I'll play nice since you're asking but that's about it." Issei relented.

"That's fine." Kalawarner smiled.

"By the way, you're going to pay dearly for that once this date is over." Issei said with a vicious smile on his face.

"I hope so. Rough sex is far more my style." Kalawarner chuckled. The rest of their date went off without a hitch and the rest of the night was equally pleasant for both Issei and Kalawarner.

Issei approached the outskirts of Kuoh as he made his way to the shrine that was supposed to be the home of Akeno Himejima for their date, "Why Akeno has me coming to the shrine is beyond me but oh well." Issei mused.

"Don't worry about it too much partner. Just enjoy it for now." Ddraig suggested.

"Yeah" Issei replied as he walked up. He knew very little about Akeno outside of her fallen angel heritage but if she was meeting him here that meant she had a very interesting past. Arriving at the top of the shrine, he was pleasantly surprised by Akeno's outfit as she stood in wait. It was a traditional white miko outfit with red trim though her top was separate from the sleeves which allowed him to see her massive breasts in all their glory and red pants with the long white socks and sandals of a miko.

"I hate to say it, but something came up and since I didn't want to lose my chance, I figured you could join us." Akeno smiled as they walked into the middle of the massive shrine that was Akeno's home.

"Us?" Issei questioned.

"Yes" Akeno smiled and a small white magic circle appeared in front of them. While Issei tensed up, all the tension vanished when Irina appeared dressed in a Kuoh uniform.

'Well this is interesting.' Issei thought to himself.

"Hello Issei. I suppose I owe you an explanation." Irina smiled.

"That, would be nice." Issei replied flatly unsure of what else to say.

"Then come this way. This is my home and we can talk in here." Akeno smiled. Akeno led the childhood friends into her living room which was a very traditional room and as Issei and Irina tossed off their shoes Akeno started speaking. "Issei you are aware of how… challenged Rias and Sona are correct?" Akeno said with a bit of bitterness.

"Very much so." Issei said calmly. Sona had nobody outside of Saji and Akeno and Koneko refusing to use their powers was severely holding back Rias. It made zero sense to him, but there was nothing he could do about it.

"Well, Heaven decided to send us an interesting weapon in order to help them." Akeno said nervously.

"How interesting." Issei said with a raised eyebrow.

"Brace yourself Issei" Irina warned as she activated a magic circle and began to pull out an ornate blade with a red and grey grip with what looked like 4 dragon fangs as the hilt.

"What… is that" Issei said with a small sheen of sweat pouring down his body. The aura from the blade was giving him the creeps.

"This is Ascalon. It's a dragon slayer sword which is why even you're reacting to it." Irina mentioned.

"I see" Issei said coldly.

"Before you get angry, the reason isn't because of you. Heaven is actually more concerned about Valerie because of her history." Irina revealed.

Issei winced at that, "So you know about that huh?"

"Umm I'm confused." Akeno said calmly. Irina and Akeno hadn't discussed anything like that during their time together.

"Short version is you and Koneko aren't the only ones who are hiding a dark past. Valerie has a past of her own" Issei smiled and Akeno froze out of nervousness, "Don't worry, I'm not judging you for it nor is anybody else."

"But you know." Akeno sighed.

"With my ability to sense aura it would be practically impossible for me not to notice." Issei smiled.

"Now I'm confused." Irina said calmly.

Akeno looked at the two nervously before sighing. With the two teens looking on, Akeno revealed her fallen angel wings, "This is my secret" Akeno said in shock.

"You're… you're a fallen." Irina gasped. She never paid attention to Akeno like that, so she had no idea.

Akeno scowled, "Half-fallen. My mother was a shrine maiden who fell in love with my fallen angel father. We lived in this very shrine for years." Akeno said solemnly.

"I see" Irina said bashfully unsure of what else to say but Issei was.

"How about we stop right there, ladies. Akeno's past doesn't matter and it's not our place to discuss Valerie's either."

"But Issei" Irina protested.

"Irina you know as well as I do that the supernatural is unforgiving. Valerie has a past that she doesn't like discussing with anybody, but she's trying to move past it. Akeno is the same. If you're going to work with all of us. It is critical that you understand that." Issei explained calmly.

"So… you don't care that I'm." Akeno asked nervously her wings still out.

Issei walked up to Akeno with a smile, "That you are part fallen, heck no. I care about Akeno Himejima, the beautiful senior with a rocking bod that I admittedly need to enjoy more often. When you're ready to share your past with me, I'll listen. Until then I'll just stick to fucking you as much as possible and giving you mind blowing orgasms."

"Typical Issei. Don't care what they are as long as you can fuck them." Irina chuckled.

"Speaking of fucking, Akeno and I have a date to finish. My dates usually end with me in somebody's bed and I'm eager to get to that" Issei smiled.

"I'm good with that" Irina smiled before sending Ascalon away. Another night of fun was on the way for Issei, but he made sure to remember that heaven doesn't quite trust his fellow dragon. It was just another dynamic that he had to deal with.

The next few days were peaceful for Issei as he was able to relax once again. His dates with various girls supernatural and otherwise had gone well and since he had a free day, he decided to use it to check on the other variable that would make things interesting for him. "So, which of the lovely ladies in my home are you coming to see Issei." Azazel chuckled.

"Your stepdaughter actually. I figured I'd see how she was doing." Issei said calmly. He was currently wearing a simple red shirt with black jeans and some red and black shoes. He didn't bother to have his jacket because he knew his clothes wouldn't stay on for very long.

Azazel's eyes narrowed, "Alright." Azazel smiled before escorting him inside as Issei slid his shoes off as was tradition.

"You're surprisingly calm about everything." Issei said sneakily. Akeno ending up giving Ascalon to Karlamine on the condition she let Kiba use it to help him learn to make a dragon slayer sword of his own. Since Azazel was an advisor to the ORC, he would be well aware of that and what it meant for Valerie. Then again, Valerie would also know about Ascalon since she visited the ORC all the time.

"A lot of people weren't happy with me taking in Valerie. It's worked out pretty well so far, but I've always kept an eye on what she was doing when she wasn't around me." Azazel smiled as they approached the room in question. "You have a guest Valerie"

"Got it. Now get lost dad." Valerie shouted.

"Got it you spoiled brat." Azazel replied cheekily before leaving as Issei walked in. As he did, he couldn't help but chuckle at how basic Valerie's room was. A twin bed with a dresser and closet with nothing else. Her leather jacket was off to the side.

"Of all the people you could've come to visit, you choose me. I don't know if I should be honored or concerned." Valerie smiled as she sat up on her bed. She was currently wearing a light blue shirt with dark grey shorts which acted as her sleep clothes.

"Depends. How much have you been paying attention to current events?" Issei said calmly and he saw Valerie's frown.

"You mean about them giving the Sitri girl Ascalon. Yeah I'm aware." Valerie frowned.

"You're surprisingly calm about it all." Issei smiled.

"Give me a little credit here Issei. One of my 'teammates' is a stray devil who killed her master. I hid the fact I was the White Dragon Empress from them, and they still don't know I'm a devil. The ironic thing about the supernatural is that they fear the unknown and I am very much an unknown to them even now" Valerie sighed. It was easy to forget what a mess she was in as far as the supernatural was concerned.

Issei smiled as he walked over to the bed and sat next to Valerie, "Do you know what I see" Issei smiled.

"Another girl you're about to fuck" Valerie replied cheekily.

"Yes, but that wasn't my answer" Issei smiled before reaching for Valerie's shirt and pulling it over revealing a light blue bra that he quickly snapped off revealing her wondrous breasts.

"Really. Trying to get me naked already. I thought we'd talk for a bit first" Valerie smiled not that she was complaining.

"We are but I'm making a point." Issei smiled as he rubbed over her upper body avoiding her breasts for now. "What I see is a girl who was betrayed by her family and in Azazel found somebody who accepted her for who she was. Once you found yourself, you found a group of people who were similarly betrayed and now you're one big twisted family." Issei smiled.

"That's right… the world betrayed us… and we all hated the world for it." Valerie moaned. Issei's touches weren't sexual since he avoided touching her sensitive spots, but it still felt amazing.

"But that's the problem." Issei said calmly stopping his ministrations briefly.

"Jerk." Valerie pouted because she was feeling it.

"I did that because I wanted to remind you of something." Issei smirked.

Valerie got up from her spot next to Issei and stood in front of him before sliding her shorts off revealing the matching panties which were gone soon after, "That you're a ruthless tease when you want to be." Valerie frowned before reaching for Issei's pants unbuckling them to reveal his member.

"No. That who you were doesn't define you and it shouldn't." Issei smiled.

"You make it sound so simple." Valerie frowned before unfurling her devil wings and sliding onto his shaft. The familiar sound of their organs connecting was refreshing but she was more focused on his words.

"Yes, but it's easy because you're human. The supernatural doesn't allow you to ignore your past." Valerie grunted. The soft sound of them slapping hips was dismissed as they spoke since it was secondary to what was going on.

"Yes, it does. Akeno is a fallen angel hybrid and practically nobody around her judges her for it. Whatever your situation is Azazel accepted you to the point that you're his daughter in name and concept."

"Yes, but Azazel is the exception to the rule. I see Kuroka's sister all the time, but I can't tell her why her sister did what she did because she was so traumatized. Akeno is a hybrid, but she would sooner watch her master become a slave to the Phenex then use that power. We both know that the little vampire has his own dark story and that's a mess you'll have to deal with at some point." Valerie grunted. It spoke to her own level of control that they had this conversation while having sex, but Valerie was if nothing else adaptive.

"Yes, but that's because they've been allowed to dismiss their past. We were lucky that Irina and Xenovia behaved during the Excalibur mission because Kiba AND Asia could've relapsed." Issei countered.

"What's…your point." Valerie frowned.

Issei smiled before grabbing Valerie by the hips and getting to his feet before spinning and placing her on the bed causing their connection to fade for a brief minute, "That instead of focusing on what you were in the past. Focus on what you are now. Not the devil girl whose family betrayed her, but the powerful and beautiful white Dragon Empress." Issei smiled before sliding back inside of her. "The White Dragon Empress that's enjoying a nice moment with her lover."

"You have a way with words." Valerie rolled her eyes. It was nice but it was definitely strange

"I do, but I'd like to think I have a way with a few other things." Issei smiled as he continued to hammer inside her.

"Ahh! You definitely do. Now fuck me you asshole, because both of us are going to have it rough pretty soon." Valerie grunted with pleasure.

"I know." Issei replied before he began moving again. He was good at what he did, and this was yet another example. If only he knew why things were so tense right now and why he was still so nervous.

(Scene Skip)

As Issei and Valerie lay in bed the Red Dragon Emperor couldn't help but smile. "Nothing like a round or two to calm the nerves." Issei smiled with Valerie naked in his arms.

"Like you were nervous. Sure, they have this meeting, but you're pretty much set regardless."

"Not necessarily." Issei said calmly but before Valerie could ask what he meant his phone lit up from inside his discarded pants.

"You gonna get that." Valerie smirked.

"Sadly yes, but I'm going to regret it the moment I do." Issei frowned. People in his life knew very well not to text him late at night because he was usually having sex. Well at least they used to. As he walked over to his pants and checked his phone his expression turned into an annoyed snarl.

"What happened." Valerie said nervously.

"See for yourself." Issei frowned as he showed her the text. The ID said spy and it read.

'I've heard chatter that members of the Old Maou Faction are going to attack the three factions meeting. Since it may affect you and your lovers, I decided to tell you." Genevieve. It was a message from his 'spy' Genevieve Arcana or as he knew her Jeanne and it ruined the mood completely.

Valerie frowned also, "That explains so much and I can't believe I missed it."

"Care to explain?" Issei said with a raised eyebrow.

"Yeah but I think we should tell Zaz." Valerie frowned as she got up and went for her clothes.

"Right" issei nodded before doing the same.

"The Old Maou faction were the ones who convinced Kokabiel to work with Valper and to reveal God's death because they wanted to start a new round of wars." Valerie explained.

Issei's eyes widened in understanding, "Killing Rias and Sona would cause a war between the Fallen and Devils but since Irina and Xenovia are low-levelled grunts or at least were. It wasn't enough to involve the church."

"Exactly. Zaz is a pacifist and the Maou don't want a war because of the strife within the devils so they'd avoid a war somehow. By revealing God's death, they would be forced to gather since higher ups in the church wouldn't want devils knowing about their big weakness" Valerie continued as she finished getting dressed.

"There's just one problem." A now dressed Issei frowned.

"What's that?"

"They could attack, but if you've got Zaz and multiple Maou in one area that's not an easy win. How are they gonna overcome that firepower." Issei nodded.

Valerie flared her senses before saying, "I don't know, but we should tell Zaz anyway. It looks like he's in the gaming room."

"Got it" Issei nodded and the pair walked over to the gaming room and knocked on the door out of respect.

It took a few minutes but finally Azazel opened the door and escorted them inside. After sitting on one of his chairs he looked at the pair, "So what happened" Azazel said with a calm expression on his face.

"A source of mine told me that somebody is likely to attack the Three factions meeting coming up." Issei said calmly.

"I know" Azazel replied calmly.

"Yeah so we should…. Wait YOU KNOW!" Valerie scowled.

"I do, Kokabiel told me as much after we brought him in."

"If you know, why aren't you doing anything?" Valerie countered.

Issei's eyes widened, "They are." Issei said with a disappointed expression on his face. He really hated the supernatural at times and this was one of them.

"Huh!?" Valerie replied unsure of what was going on.

"The meeting is being held at Kuoh because they wanted an area that they could control without causing too many outside casualties. I imagine that everyone was walking around during Parents day in order to figure out a way to control the attack when it inevitably comes." Issei scowled.

"Right on all accounts." Azazel replied.

Issei frowned because there was still a piece missing. At least until he remembered a very interesting detail about the bishop that Rias recently released into the world, "You guys are assholes." Issei said coldly.

"Care to explain Issei." Valerie asked unsure of what he realized.

"Rias's bishop can stop time." Issei explained and Valerie's expression soured instantly.

"Can you take me back to my room Issei. I'm getting a little pissed off." Valerie said in a sickly-sweet voice.

"Sure" Issei replied well aware of why she was annoyed. Like they said earlier, there wasn't a good reason for them to attack since all these powerful people would be in one place. However, if they found a way to get Gasper and control his time stopping power, they could do some damage. The kid was basically live bait.

"For what it's worth, Rias and Sona have no idea about the attack. Your friend Irina will be told soon because of her position but otherwise its leaders only" Azazel said calmly.

"That makes it worse." Issei said calmly as he and Valerie left to fuck away their frustrations at their latest discoveries.

(Scene Skip)

With the Three Factions meeting a day away, Issei relaxed on his bed with a smile as he waited for Irina to arrive. He received a message from Irina saying that she wanted to spend some private time with him before the meeting and since he was free, he naturally accepted. "I wonder what she wants this time." Issei said calmly. He got his answer when Irina appeared in the Kuoh uniform and by the door.

"Good evening Issei." Irina smiled.

"So, what's up Irina." Issei asked calmly.

"As you know, tomorrow is the Three Factions meeting but among the topics that are going to be discussed is my new role as liaison." Irina said calmly.

"I see and what does that have to do with me?" Issei wondered.

"Well…. it means that this uniform will start becoming a permanent part of my life." Irina explained and Issei froze.

"Oh" Issei replied unsure of what else to say. Irina returning was slowly becoming a reality and there really wasn't a good way to talk about how he felt about it.

Irina noticed Issei's expression and knew what Issei was concerned about, "If you're worried about how that changes things for you as Hottie Magnet Hyoudou don't be. I'll accept my place among the herd and that'll be that" Irina replied.

"You know damn well it's not that simple." Issei groaned in annoyance, but instinctively adjusted his body so there was a bit of room on the right side of the bed for Irina to join him.

Irina acknowledged the unspoken suggestion before walking over and joining him on the bed allowing his right arm to wrap around her body as she snuggled into Issei's side. "Did you ever imagine the day would come where you and I are snuggled together like this as we prepared to be classmates."

"All the time." Issei smiled.

"Really" Irina said with disbelief.

"Oh yeah. Even as I was becoming Hottie Magnet Hyoudou I had a few dreams where it was you waiting for me for one of the dates and me enjoying you. You've always been on my mind Irina and it's why the Hiatus hit so hard." Issei sighed.

"Let's not talk about the past Issei. The truth is I'm just another girl that you've charmed and when I attend Kuoh I'm sure I'll have plenty to answer for." Irina groaned really not looking forward to that.

"You will, but I suppose that's just another challenge for you." Issei smiled.

"And it's one I'll gladly take on." Irina smiled.

"But first we have this damn meeting." Issei groaned.

"… About that" Irina said nervously.

"I know about the planned attack and how the supernatural plan to deal with it." Issei deadpanned.

Irina sighed since she just learned about the attack from Michael a few hours ago and her first instinct was to tell Issei, "For the record I don't like it either." Irina spoke up.

"Neither do I, but that's the world we live in and the world we have to deal with." Issei groaned.

"Maybe we'll get lucky and the one leading the attack is a smoking hot chick that you can seduce." Irina chuckled.

"Maybe but for right now I just want to cuddle with my childhood friend and for just a little bit. Forget about the stupidity of the supernatural world." Issei smiled.

"Sounds good to me." Irina replied and the two simply enjoyed each other's company for the rest of the night without having sex. This was the calm before the storm and for Issei and Irina, there wasn't a place they'd rather be then with each other.
