Chapter 5

The next day when I woke up, I awoke in a strange room of all white besides the sheets that were on my bed which were pitch black. Next to my bed, I saw a suit that was also pitch black with a white undershirt and a green tie. I got up and put the suit on and started to look for a mirror to see how it fit and I saw one across the room and walked over to it.

I was in utter shock at what I saw it was my face, but it looked so different. The most noticeable difference was my hair was jet black while my eyes were a blazing red, there was also a giant scar down the left side of my face. I remembered a burning sting when I had felt on the left side of my face. "I must have hit it before Kurogiri-San caught me," I mumbled to myself. I had to admit that the suit fit me nicely and looks pretty good with my new look.

I walked out of my room to see a maze of hallways and I had no clue where I even was. I wandered the hallways for what felt like hours until I came upon what looked like the doctor's study full of medical notes and equipment. Right beside it was a room full of notebooks and pens and I wondered what it was for. "This is your room boy where you can come and write down anything about anyone's quirks or powers."

I nearly jumped out of my shoes as I turned around and saw the doctor. "You scared me sir you shouldn't sneak up on people like that." The doctor looked me up and down then spoke. "Well, it seems the teleportation's side power isn't working yet which allows you to feel the environment around you we will work on that. Now, boy, it is time to start your training to master these quirks so that you may have a chance to survive them."

I flowed the doctor down winding corridors and hallways as we finally walked into a large cavern. It was filled with stalactites and stalagmites, and I turned around to speak to the doctor. He was gone with the door shut behind me and a hunting knife laying on the ground.

Suddenly a voice came over the loudspeaker and it was the master. "I have given all of you the chance to serve me and become the protector to the successor. Only one of you may do this so you will fight to the death and the one to prevail will earn this place. Those who do not fight will be killed by myself personally."

I was shocked by what I was hearing when suddenly one of the stalagmites shattered in front of me and there was a man with what looked like a blade made of water. I quickly tried to assess the situation I was in it was kill or be killed. I looked at him then the door behind me and had an idea. I waited till the last second where I could feel the wind of his blade slashing before I rolled out of the way.

My plan had worked his sword had got stuck in the door, but it was quickly dissipating. I quickly spun around him and stabbed him in the back and heard him scream. I slowly backed away from him thinking what I had done, Then I started hearing screaming all around me and more people running my way. I had no choice but to fight if I was to survive this hell. I grabbed my knife and ran into the fray.

For a week I had survived off the natural water and bats in the cave as I did my best to survive the killers in here. With the last person, I had snuck up on and stabbed in the back I heard a voice over the loudspeaker. "With that, the tournament is over Three hundred and thirty-nine dead and one survivor." I slowly stumbled to the closest door that was now open and collapsed as soon as I stepped out of it.
