Chapter 10

(I know I haven't often been writing, but I have been swamped. I hope you all can forgive me. Regular italicized is Deku thinking, Regular typing in quotations is Deku speaking, All for One is italicized in the source, and doctors are bold in quotes.)

The giant looked straight at me and started barreling toward me. I focused on my powers and let the brute come after me. I finally understood what I needed to begin to activate my sludge power. I needed bloodthirst which, after today, I had plenty of taste for. I focused on all the times I wanted to attack bakugo for what he said and did. The giant didn't realize what I was doing until it was too late. He stopped in his traps as I used my sludge to envelop his feet and harden around them.

I laughed menacingly as I approached him, and he swatted at me but missed as I dodged. I used my sludge power to grow my hand and then harden it enough to where it knocked the giant down as I hit him in the leg with the spike. He howled in pain as I laughed and remembered how everyone used to laugh at me. I screamed two words before his death.

"Iron Maiden"

I said that as spikes shot through him from below; I used my fist to push him down from above. I smiled as I started to get used to my power and slowly disappeared into an alleyway to check on my injuries. To my surprise, when I checked my ribs from when I got hit, none of them had ever felt an ounce of pain.

I figured the sludge must've given me increased regeneration along with the strength and stamina I had been feeling. I was curious as to how many victims there were left to slaughter. I got interested as I wondered if the sludge power could somehow be used for detection. I slowly breathed as I let my bloodlust overflow and thought to myself. Let my body spread and feel all within my borders. I ordered the sludge, and it worked. It was like a spider web spreading wide, feeling every fly cross its path.

I could feel the whole city, but there were no people to run in it. I must've killed everyone there was to kill in the city. So, I continued until I saw the next arena and readied myself for the fun I was about to have.

-8 Months Later-

I got dressed in my suit for the morning and tightened my green tie, and slipped on my red gloves, smiling to myself. Today is the day the master is to accept me fully after all my training. The tournament, arenas, and the battles were fought with strong opponents afterward. I walked down the corridors to his office as I bowed before him.

"Master, I have come as you asked what you require of me."

"Ah, young Izuku, thank you for coming. I have something to ask of you, but after your final test with the doctor."

"A-another test but sir, I already passed all of the ones you wished of me," I mumbled as I looked down, disappointed. I heard him clear his throat, and I straightened up, knowing I would be in trouble if I disobeyed.

"Deku, this is your final test to beat a nomu like you." That's all the doctor said as a giant black creature with inhuman features approached me and blasted me across the room. The thing hadn't even touched me but shot me across the room.

"I see he has some power to blast opponents away, and I'm guessing some sort of sound quirk, seeing as my ears are ringing." I got back up and instinctively got angry, blasting him with fire, but he just blew it right back.

"Correct, you are. He is designed to bounce quirks back and disable them. He will take your place if you do not win."

After all the master had done for me, I couldn't let that happen. I tried to get a grip on myself as I used every power I had against him, but nothing worked as he smashed me against a wall. I suddenly felt nothing, like the world had disappeared before me, and I felt numb. But with that numbness, I forgot everything and felt calm, so very calm. I started to come back to my senses as something seemed off with the nomu. His grip on me weakened, and my ears had stopped ringing.

"Yes, finally, these are the results I have been waiting for his fifth quirk."

All for One sat up interested as I shoved a spike straight through his gut and burned him to a crisp as I looked up at my master. "There, master, I beat the nomu. I have earned my spot by your side."

"It seems your power is to decrease your enemy's power and quirk. That's very interesting."

"Yes, you have my dear boy but not by my side; you are to be by my successor's side and help him grow and develop. But first, there is something that must be addressed. You must train your power; now, what will you call it Izuku."

"There is only one name that will befit it. Quirks are everything in this world, and people like heroes that use such quirks are worshipped like gods. I will become the man to go against this idea so many hold in their heads. This power's name will be a heretic. And I'm no longer Izuku, its Deku now master.

Heretic-a person holding an opinion at odds with what is generally accepted-Such as Deku, believing quirks are not everything like most people do.

(By the way, I want to make a Naruto story. I have some ideas, but I want the readers to pick which first-majority wins.)
