I was just standing there, the blinding lights blocking my view, listening to the crowed cheer to my mother's successful jump. Now it's my turn, I jumped, making a back flip in the process, I grab the rope and just admire for a moment thinking how lucky I am to workat this beautiful circus.

A sound interrupted my thoughts, I looked up immediately but nothing could have prepared me for what I saw.

He was there, smiling at me, looking directly to my eyes. I wanted to look away but I couldn't. That squeaking sound never leaving my ears.

And then I fell.

I was expecting to fall to the ground face first, but the floor started moving away from me.

I felt a shift. A shift going all around my body.

I hit the ground. I couldn't breath. I opened my eyes and begun crying uncontrollably.

The circus was gone, the crowed, the lights, my mum. Everything was gone. Again.

I was lying on the ground but then something caught my attention. I wasn't in my room anymore.

I was in the basement of the orphanage.

How did I end up down here?

Was I sleep walking?

But I noticed something and gasped.

My pillow and blanket were hanging from the celling.

I closed my eyes tightly, causing my head to hurt. I crawled to the wall behind me and sat against it, hugging my knees. I wanted to run away from there, but I just couldn't get my feet to move.

I looked back at the celling and burst into more tears.

What is wrong with me?

What is happening to me?

-Time skip -

So, here i am, some old school, same hallway, same people, everything is the same, but why do I feel different?

I was walking towards my locker , when I noticed Raily and her friend Amy staring at me. I raised an eyebrow at them, but they Just laughed.

"Morning Pryde" they said in sync

"Morning ...I guess" I said and went on with my business.

Raily and Amy, the popular girls, the Girls everyone want to be like, but why wouldn't they?

Raily and Amy are really good looking. Raily has ginger hair and bright blue eyes. Amy is a blonde with hazel eyes. They are both fit and also rich.

They have been making my life hell since I stepped into this place people call school.

All of a sudden I feel four hands shoving me into my own locker.

"World closing in on you Kathryn?" A pretty familiar voice said while laughing.

Raily and Amy just locked me in my locker!

I had enough with both of them!

"Let me out you jerks! Open this door! Somebody open this door!!" I screamed, wishing someone will hear.

But nobady did , Nobady ever hears to my cries for help.

-Flashback-

"Mum Please let me out! Please!" I yelled wishing she would hear me, believe me.

"No, not until you come to your senses" she yelled harshly at me and I flinched.

"Please mum believe me! he touched me! Please! Please!" I shouted while banging at the locked metal closet.

There was a long pause and then a loud bang.

She left. She left me.

-End of Flashback-

I can't believe Raily and Amy would go that far.

How am I supposed to get out of here?

As if on que, I heard somebody walking down the hallway.

Whoever they were, they were whistling and the sound was coming closer and closer.

"Hey! Who's out there?! Can you hear me? let me out!" I shouted but then I felt it again.

That shift, that drowning feeling, it felt like I was falling in slow motion, I extended my arm to grab on something, but instead I crashed on someone.

The person was caught by surprise and yelled as he landed to the ground next to me.

I didn't know what to do, how to react.

At one moment I was inside my locker and the other I wasn't. And this guy saw everything.

I am so screwed .

I could tell that he was standing up, I can feel his eyes burning on my back, but I didn't dare to move.

I kept staring at my knees, not knowing what to do.

"Hey you see, what you just did ?" He said breaking the silence and that's when I realized I knew him.

Out of all people I had to fall on Lance Alvers?

"What are you talking about Lance, I just fell, that's all" I said, finally standing up and also cursing myself inside for stuttering in frond of him.

"You didn't just fell! You fell right through the door! That is so cool!" He said and my eyes widen

Was he exited? I am freaking out and he is excited!

"You're Crazy " I said and turned my back on him, trying to walk away, but before I could take a step farther he grabbed my wrist

My first reaction was to pull my arm away, but his grip only became stronger.

"Let go of me" I said harshly

"No, no wait a minute, I am the only guy around here who gets the beauty of it, because you are just like me ! Really!" He said.

What the hell was he talking about ?

I looked at him straight in his brown eyes in disbelief. Something that didn't go unnoticed by him.

"Alright then check this out!" He said and let go of my arm.

He extended his arms and closed his eyes tightly, he seemed focused on whatever he was doing.

And then it happened

The earth started shaking.

And the lockers opened one by one causing books and papers that were inside of them to crush all over the floor.

I was trying to prevent myself from falling to the floor again.

And then it just stopped .

I looked at Lance, and he was smirking while running his arm through his dark brown hair.

"Getting the picture?" He asked

"What the hell man ! You are just some freak! Leave me alone!" I said , but regret it inside.

If he was a freak, then I was a freak too.

I began running away from him, but I could still hear him yell at me.

"You can run, but you can't hide because I am gonna rock your world"

He said and his words echoed in my ears and I just knew this guy is gonna get me in huge trouble.

-Time skip-

It's forth period, P.E class, the last two hours of school weren't easy. I couldn't get what happened out of my mind. I couldn't get him out of my mind.

"Hey! Everyone get in line! You are gonna be running around the school field 3 times at least! Come on now! Don't be lazy! One!two!three!" The P.E teacher said and we started running.

"WOW Pryde, I see you found a way out of your locker"Raily said from behind me.

And I felt anger build up inside of me.

"I am impressed, I didn't expected it to be that easy, it was too easy! What if we make it make it more difficult for you now?" She said and before I could protest, I felt her pushing me into the ground and this time I did fall face first.

I felt the familiar vibration beneath me, and before I knew it, Raily was on the ground covered in mud.

And I knew exactly who was behind all this. I stood up and looked around for Lance. He was at the roof of the school waving at me.

"What the hell did you do Pryde?"Amy shouted at me grabbing my attention.

A crowed of peaope was formed around me, looking me accusingly

They weren't blaming this on me , were they?

They started shouting at me, and I did the next logical thing,

I run.

I found myself in the school theater.

"Lance is so stupid!" I said and kicked the chairs and table that were on the stage down the floor .

I knew he would get me in trouble!

How can I ever so my face again?

Speaking of my face. My nose hurts like hell, I reached to touch it and flinched. I looked at my finger, which had a splash of blood in it. By that I am assuming that my nose is bleeding.

"Kathryn Hey! You alright?" A soft unknown female voice said and I looked at it's source.

A girl around my age, with sparkling green eyes and dark ginger hair. She was dressed nicely. A purple top and ripped jeans with sneakers. She was fit and really good looking. A too good to be true kind of girl.

"Let me guess, you are a friend of Raily's or something, just so you know I don't have anything to do with the mud incident" I said defensively

She walked closer and got on the stage.

"I know and I am not Raily's friend" she said, her voice was having a calming effect on me.

"Well you look like you would be her friend"I whisper and looked down.

She walked next to me

"Kathryn I know what you are going through" she said and I instantly moved away.

"You know nothing about me! You literally just met me!"I yelled

Why does everyone think that they know what it feels like to be me!

"Kathryn I know about your powers, I know about you gift, and I want to help you. Together we - " she said but I cut her off.

I don't want to hear it

"Stop ! It is already hard enough to be normal and all that shit is making it even harder! Nor you Nor Lance are doing any good! Leave me alone!" I yelled at her finally letting my anger take control of me.

"Kathryn look at me for a moment, please?" She begged .

I looked up at her, she moved her hand and the table and chairs that I throwed on the floor were getting back in place with the movement of her arms.

"How did you do that?" I asked in disbelief.

she smiled and passed me a napkin, while pointing at my nose. I whiped the blood away, waiting for her to continue.

"Just like you, I woke up one morning with this powers and believe me when I say I didn't like it either" she said and I just couldn't believe it, It was too much to take in. I threw the napkin away and pulled away from her once more.

"No you are lying" i screamed, but deep inside I knew I was the only liar in the room.

"No! I know that you believe me, because I have another gift. I can read your thoughts" she said hopefully.

This was supposed to make me feel better?

How dare she invade my privacy like that!

"No get out of my head! No! No!" I screamed and run away from her.

I walked out and made sure to slam the door as hard as possible

How can something go so wrong so fast?
