Rewriting: What if Ben and Gwen weren't related Season 03 Episode 04
01 The episode begins with Ben falling out of Bed and yawning while sitting up looking tired. When Charmcaster asks if he'd had a late night he says it was kinda weird, and starts to tell them about some sort of strange dream he'd been having. Telling them it was so realistic.
02 Max asks him to tell them about it, to which he does stating that it was kind of strange as he had teamed up with a teenage version of himself, gwen, and some other guy that he didn't know. And that all he can really remember is that they were fighting some freaky looking horned guy, but it gets all foggy from there so he isn't really sure.
03 We see outside the rustbucket there was a dark haired man in a lab coat looking at a pocket watch as he nodded to himself stating "Everything is as it should be." As we then see what looked like the same man just, with graying hair and a more steampunk looking outfit walking over speaking to himself "Oh dear I seem to have gone back a bit too far this time. No matter, I can simply just jump forwards to about the right time this next go around." Though the one in the coat didn't seem at all confused by what was going on. "Oh yes, my Time War counterpart, how goes the effort?" The two then walk off talking to one another and vanishing together in a strange blue light.
04 We then get Max reminded Ben to refule the water tank which he gets to, though Max tells Gwen the dishes won't do themselves, Gwen taked out her spellbook and begins reading through it quickly finding what she needed and making them start to do just that.
05 Charmcaster complimented Gwen stating that she's getting better at magic with all the practice they've been doing together while she was getting herself a drink from the fridge, and we see Ben outside activating the refuleing line for the water tank for the rustbucket since they were outside a lake.
06 We later see them going to a farm camp of some kind, though Max seemed to be the only one excited about it they still gave it a shot. They were introduced to Joan and Todd, and were told to start with unloading the truck, Ben was about to transform into fourarms to make unloading the truck easier but Max tells him not to.
07 After they were finished they went to get supper, which max compliments, and Ben asks what exactly they did around there for fun without tv or video games. Todd begins to tell them about something he'd seen last night, but his mother scolds him telling him no one wnated to hear tall tales, though Charmcaster says she's interested.
08 He tells them he saw a literal mummy that had attacked him, which his mother looks mad about him saying, though Gwen mentions that it's not the strangest thing they've come across during this summer confusing them with Charmcaster using magic to make the dishes move on their own and actually wash themselves freaking the two out a bit.
09 Joan says that Charmcaster is a witch, though she is quickly corrected as Gwen says "Sorceress actually." And Ben mentions they should track down the mummy because it might be like the werewolf incident making Joan fain and Todd look at them confused and surprised.
10 They were later shown to where their beds were but Charmcaster refused stating she'd be in the rustbucket and began walking downstairs, followed by Gwen, though Ben stays with Max stating "Not so bad compared to the gladiator arena."
11 We later on see Ben Gwen and Charmcaster running off in the middle of the night to go and find the mummy, with Ben thinking it'd be another alien of somekind like the werewolf, which made sense to them honestly. They come across purple footprints and are attacked by glowing purple mutated cows.
12 Gwen questions if it's another of Animo's experiments, but Ben says he isn't sure, and that they should keep going and see what's up. The episode pretty much plays out the same from there, with one alteration, Gwen and Charmcaster float up into the air and Ben takes down the mutant cows before running off to go hunt down the mummy.
13 After finding them the two then fight, with Ben timing out and Gwen flying under the falling silo grabbing Ben and moving both of them safely out from under it. Ben then tells Gwen and Charmcaster about what was being dug up, and Charmcaster suggests telling Max about what exactly was going on.
14 Unlike in the show they don't actually start doing any more chores as Ben immediately tells Grandpa Max about the mutated cows, and that they should go check it out. He questions if it was Animo's work, but they said they didn't think so. To which Max then states "Right, Animo owning a farm would be too obvious, even for a kook like him." as they all begin to go off to where they left the mutated cows.
15 The episode then continues on normally with Max scanning the cows, telling them about the corodium, and going to the icecream shop where the strongest signal was coming from. Ben dug it up with Diamondhead like in the show and Max puts a level 10 hazzmat suit onto Himself, Gwen, and Charmcaster.
16 Gwen tries to use a spell, with Charmcaster calling out for her to wait, but it was too late as her suit swelled up like a ball and she began to bounce all over the place before it eventually deflated. Charmcaster told Gwen magic requires a wide open space, and that while they were in the hazzmat suit they were completely contained, and it would take years to be able to do so.
17 The Mummy grabs the guard that had run in and mutated them with the corodium, and we get things happening as they did in the show again, with the exception that Charmcaster helps to fight off the guard while Ben takes on the mummy, and with her there, they had an eaier time taking care of the guard quickly.
18 When Ben times out he works together with Max, Charmcaster, and Gwen, and they manage to take the mummy down by shoving him into a peanut grinder, or so they thought. The Mummy reforms itself and grabs Ben pulling on his suit and tearing it as they wrapped Ben up using their bandages.
19 Ben gets the mummy transformation, and hits the watch changing into the werewolf transformation instead and he growls ripping the bandages with his teeth and claws being slammed into a tank Max warns Ben to be careful because that was liquid nitrogen. But this gave Ben an idea as he got behind the tank and ripped it out of the ground throwing it at the mummy before letting out a sonic howl that caused the tank to explode right when it connected with the mummy and freezing them solid instantly.
20 The last thing we see is Upgrade helping to bury the mummy and them all heading out again ready to continue on with their trip with Ben asking if anyone could think of something cooler than Ben Wolf to call that werewolf form, and charmcaster suggested he tries to come up with something that involved the use of the word lycanthropy because that's what the werewolf affliction is classified as.
