A/N: This is a request from Emz2684. I did it a little differently than what you wanted, so hopefully this is ok. This takes place between Seasons 23 and 24 of SVU and Seasons 9 and 10 of PD but Antonio, Al, Jay and Matt are still around and so are Kat and Chief Garland. I don't own any of the characters.

The Letter

Hank had been in an accident and was in the hospital with a broken arm, a broken ankle, fractured ribs and cuts and bruises. He hated that no one was there for him other than his squad and Trudy. He saw Daniel a couple times a year if he was lucky but Olive had just recently started a new relationship. Erin was busy with her job, so she rarely came to Chicago unless it was for the Holidays and they had an argument the last time they saw each other, so they hadn't spoken in a while. He had been in a casual relationship with Olivia for a little while but the distance between them and their respective jobs made it difficult for either of them to get away, so they really hadn't seen each other let alone talked in a while. It's not that he didn't care for her because he did. He loved her as much as he loved Camille but deep down they both figured it wouldn't have worked because of the distance, so they decided not to pursue anything further. Hank has regretted it ever since. There would never be another Olivia Benson for him. She made him crazy but in a good way. Al and Trudy both knew how Hank felt about Olivia. As he was in his hospital bed, Hank had written a letter to Olivia telling her how he really felt about her. Trudy had convinced him to at least do that if he wasn't going to talk to her to tell her how he felt. He told her about the accident and that he thought of her often. He also told her he loved her and he would completely understand if she didn't feel the same way about him but he thought she had the right to know how he truly felt. He had asked Al to mail it for him.

During the next several days, the letter had arrived in New York and was delivered to Olivia at home. She read it and didn't know what to think. She loved him too and had for a long time. She missed their conversations and honestly, she missed the sex. She had a connection with him that she didn't have with anyone else and that also included Elliot. She was less than thrilled when Elliot had come back into her life and she really didn't know what to believe any more. Elliot claimed he loved her but she knew she didn't feel that way about him anymore. She grew up and moved on in the time he was gone but he still continued to pursue her even though she wasn't interested. She told Noah about the letter but she wanted to see Hank by herself first. He said he was ok with that. She made arrangements and was planning to go in for a few hours. She also called Lucy to tell her what was going on. Lucy told her she could stay with him during the day but not all night. Olivia told her she would figure something out. When she got to the Precinct, Amanda and Fin were already there.

"Can you two come into my office for a minute?"

"Sure, Liv."

Amanda and Fin followed Olivia into her office.

"I heard from Hank Voight."

"Wow! It's been a while."

"Yeah, I know. He wrote me telling me he was in a car accident and has been in the hospital."

Olivia handed them the letter and let them read it.

"How do you feel about him?"

"I love him. I always have but it was the distance that has played a big part with us not being together but a part of me thinks that was just an excuse. There have been so many times in the last few years that I wanted to contact him but I didn't know what to say."

"What about Stabler?"

"I outgrew him years ago and now, I wish he hadn't come back into my life. He was drugged when he showed up at my apartment while he was undercover and told me that Kathy was the one that had written that stupid letter he gave me. He could have had someone following him and put both Noah and me in extreme danger. That isn't something I want my son exposed to. My relationships aren't just about me and what I want or need. They're also about Noah. Elliot has too much ego for me."

"If anyone gets that, I do. Jesse and Billie love Sonny. It seems like Noah really likes Voight."

"He does."

"Does Voight know about Tucker?"

"He does. That was actually the last time we talked. I texted him and asked him to call me when he had a chance and he got me through that. I can't even tell you the last time I saw Hank let alone slept with him. I have yet to tell Elliot I was in a relationship with Ed, which you both know will go over real big. He knows I was with someone named Ed but he doesn't know anything more than that. He doesn't even know what happened with William Lewis and honestly, I don't care if he ever finds out. He never wanted me to be happy with anyone. Every time I started seeing someone, he'd act like a real ass. It doesn't take much. He was probably hoping I'd make a move for him. If I wanted to, I could have admitted that I had feelings for him when he told me that he and Kathy were separated years ago but I never did. I don't make it a habit to break up someone's marriage, even if that marriage is having problems like his marriage to Kathy always seemed like it was."

"That's nothin' new for him. I think him comin' back into your life at this point was bad timin'. Is he really ready for another relationship this soon after losin' Kathy?"

"Honestly, no but he'd say otherwise. All he wants is to get into my pants."

"Unfortunately, most men do and it's why we do what we do."

"It just makes me feel cheap after I realized what I went through with Burton."

"You were young and stupid. You didn't know any better."

"Maybe so, but I slept with him before I found out what he did to those other women. I need to settle down and find someone that loves and respects me (and my son) as much as I love and respect him. I loved Brian but we just wanted different things. I loved Ed more than I wanted to admit but I just couldn't see myself with him long term. I had mixed feelings when I found out he was married. Although I think a part of me had wished that had been me. I have had such a hard time with his death. I loved Elliot a long time ago but I'm not in love with him now like I am with Hank. People change in a decade. He has not. He's too selfish for me and he's not what Noah or I need. I don't think Elliot really respects me. Everything since he has been back in my life has been about him. Then there's Hank. He's loved me unconditionally even when I didn't deserve it. He didn't judge me when I was self-conscious about my scars nor did he judge me when I was with Ed."

"You still seein' your therapist?"

"Sometimes, yes. I told him that I've been unhappy in the last year. Well, it's actually been longer than that."

"Which coincides with Stabler comin' back into your life."

"Pretty much and I do blame him. He makes my life more complicated that it needs to be. If the Wheatleys were behind my accident, that never would have happened if Elliot wasn't back in my life. I'm getting too old for this shit. Dr. Lindstrom basically told me that I need to decide who I love more and tell them both how I feel or move on from them both. I think I'm ready to tell Hank that I love him and move on completely from Elliot, which I thought I already had. If he still wants to be a part of my life, fine but it will never be anything more than platonic and he has to accept that I'm with someone else. If Hank decides he doesn't want to be with me, I'm not going to settle on Elliot. I'm better off being single."

"Honestly, if it's not Voight, I'd rather see you with Langan than Stabler."

"Trevor has been a better friend these last few years and I appreciate everything he has done to help me with Noah. When he warned me about Burton, I kind think he was also warning me about Elliot."

"Can you blame him?"

"No."

"Did you forgive Stabler for the 10 years he disappeared from your life?"

"I told him we were good but I'm not so sure I believe that. I know we need to talk but whenever I want to talk, he doesn't. He only wants to talk when it's convenient for him and it's usually about him. I just want to be as happy as both you and Amanda appear to be with Phoebe and Carisi."

"I never would have expected myself to admit to Sonny that I loved him but I do. My comment to you about you two needin' to get a room was inappropriate."

"It's fine. I know I need to work on my relationship with Barba and I now realize he did what he did to protect me. He would never do anything to intentionally hurt me. I need to work on my relationships with a lot of people, especially Hank. Can you handle things for a few days?"

"Yeah, sure."

"Lucy can stay with Noah during the day but she can't stay with him all the time. Can he stay with you and the girls? Maybe some bonding with Carisi will be good for him."

"Yeah, sure. It's not a problem."

"What time is your flight?"

"It's at 12:30. I should probably call Al or Trudy to see if one of them could meet me at the airport. I'll let you know what's going on and how long I think I'll be there."

"Ok."

Fin and Amanda went back to their desks and did their paperwork. Olivia called Al and asked if he or Trudy could come pick her up. He said one of them would be there. A little while later, they got a call, so Fin, Amanda, Kat and Velasco left. Shortly before 10, Olivia left and headed to the airport. When she arrived, the parked her SUV, got out and headed to the terminal to get checked in. Then she went through security and headed to the gate.

Elliot arrived at the 16th and went up to SVU. No one was there. Olivia's desk was cleared off and her laptop was gone. He had been texting her to see if she wanted to have lunch with him but she had not answered him. He opened the middle drawer of her desk looking for something to leave a note for her and he discovered a letter. He opened it and read it. It made his blood boil that someone else had feelings for the woman he loved. He found some post-it notes and made some notes from the letter and left Olivia a note as well. Then he left to head back to Organized Crime. He then did a little research.

Olivia's flight was just taking off by the time the squad had come back to the Precinct. They called Carisi to get a warrant and pretty much spent time working on the case.

Several hours later, Olivia's flight was arriving in Chicago. She got off the plane and went to get her luggage. She checked her phone and saw she had several texts and messages from Elliot. She ignored and deleted all of them. She went outside and saw Trudy.

"Hey, Trudy."

"Hey. It's good to see you."

"You too."

"How's Noah?"

"He's great. I would have brought him but I needed to deal with Hank before I get Noah involved. I never intended for us to be apart this long. How's he doing?"

"He's Hank, so that should tell you something. He had surgery on his arm and ankle."

"I had surgery on my ankle a year ago following a car accident, so I know what he's going through."

"He won't be going home until he can take care of himself. He will more than likely have to go into a Rehab facility before he can go home."

"That sucks but it is understandable. Have Erin or Olive been around?"

"Nope. He and Erin had a falling out, so they haven't spoken in a while. Olive just recently started a new relationship, so he doesn't see Daniel all that much. Not that he really did before."

"How did the accident happen?"

"They were chasing a suspect and someone associated with the suspect broadsided him at a high speed. Half of them continued the pursuit and the rest of them stayed with Hank. The guy that hit him didn't survive but once they arrested the guy they were after, they headed to the hospital with everyone else. I had heard about it on the police radio and Station 51 responded to it. Randy called me when they were headed back to the firehouse to make sure I knew about it. Olinsky said he coded on the Ambo but they brought him back."

"I just feel so shitty that I haven't been in his life these last several years."

"Are you involved with anyone?"

"No. Unfortunately, my former partner is back in my life after a 10-year absence."

"Wouldn't that be a good thing?"

"He's the one I compared Hank to when we first met. His wife was caught in an explosion and died from her injuries. She's barely in her grave and he's confessing his love for me. I love him but I'm not in love with him. He just doesn't get it."

Olivia told Trudy everything including about Burton how she really felt about Hank.

"Oh, boy!"

"Yeah, I know. Most of these men just want to get into my pants. Ed wasn't like that and neither was Hank. I had a real connection with Hank that I didn't seem to have with anyone else and that includes my former partner."

"I think he knows that. I'm the one that convinced him to send you the letter, so he could get his feelings out."

"It was very heartfelt. Coming from him, I know it's genuine. My former partner said he "wrote" me a letter but then later said his wife wrote it. He showed up at my apartment drugged while he was undercover to tell me that. Someone could have been following him and put me and Noah in danger. Most of the time he has a tendency not to think before he acts. It's not just about me and what I want. It's also about Noah. I've been in love with Hank longer than I am willing to admit."

"I think it's the same for him as well. He just needed a kick in the ass to realize it."

"I think I did too."

Trudy drove to the District where Hank's vehicle was and gave her the key for that along with the key to his house. She told her what room he was in and Olivia thanked her as she got out. She got into Hank's SUV and drove over to Med. She got a visitor's badge and went to Hank's room. When she got to his room, he had his eyes closed. He looked so helpless. She walked over to the bed, kissed his forehead and then he opened his eyes.

"Hey."

"Hey."

"You're here."

"Of course I am. I feel so guilty that we've been apart as long as we have. I don't care about this distance thing anymore. I love you and I want to be with you."

"Did you get my letter?"

"That's why I'm here."

Olivia sat down took Hank's hand and told him everything that had happened since they had last talked. It felt good for her to get all that off her chest and actually have a meaningful conversation with the person she loved. Unlike Elliot, Hank actually listened to her and didn't make the entire conversation about himself. After their conversation, they kissed.

Elliot had made arrangements to fly to Chicago where he hoped to convince Olivia that they belonged together. He first wanted to have it out with that Hank guy. The flight had left New York and in a few hours it would be in Chicago.

By the time he arrived in Chicago, he got his bag and got a cab to take him to Chicago Med. This was the first time he had ever been in Chicago and hopefully it would be the last. He had hoped it would be the last time Olivia was there too. Why would she even consider being with someone in a different city when she had him in the same city? When he arrived, he went in and found out where Hank was. He got his visitor's badge and went to Hank's room. Hank was alone and he was asleep, so maybe Liv had come to her senses. Olivia had gone to Hank's to grab a quick nap but she had told Hank she'd be back soon. Elliot really wanted to wring this guy's neck. Why all of a sudden did someone else want the woman he loved? Deep down he knew she loved him as much as he loved her. Hank opened his eyes.

"Who the hell are you?"

"I'm your worst nightmare."

Elliot took Hank's IV tubing and folded it.

"If you wanna make it out of this place alive, I would suggest stayin' the hell away from Liv. She loves me."

"That's not what she told me. You just hear what you wanna hear and don't listen to anything she has to say."

Elliot put his hand against Hank's throat and squeezed it until he started gasping for air. His machines started beeping, so the nurse ran in.

"Sir, what are you doing? Get security in here!"

Someone called security and then the squad came in.

"What the hell, man!"

Al and Elliot started fighting. Al wasn't taking any crap from Elliot and punched him in the nose. Someone was able to put the cuffs on him.

"Get this piece of crap out of here and put him in the Cage!"

"You got it, Al!"

Kevin and Adam took Elliot out just as Olivia was coming back. She had it out with him and told him to stay out of her life. All he could do was smirk and say he did it for her. He knew she loved him as much as he loved her and it would only be a matter of time before she realized it too. He told her he knew all about Hank and he wasn't good enough for her because of his violent behavior. She told him Hank was more man than he would ever be. He also listens to her and respects her, which is more than she could say for him. She told him she loved him at one point but she wasn't in love with him like she was Hank. He told her she'd be in love with him again and to just give it time. She told him to go to hell and to stop being such a hypocrite regarding Hank's behavior. She reminded him about what had happened in the Interrogation Room when he promised her he'd behave and did not. That was even after she told him he shouldn't have even been in there in the first place. She told him when Hank tells her he'll behave, she knows he means it.

As soon as they left, she apologized to everyone in hallway that had heard her go off on Elliot. She knew that had been a long time coming but it felt good to finally get that off her chest as well. She then went to try to calm Hank down. As soon as Hank had calmed down, Al, Antonio, Jay, Hailey and Kim left for the District and they were pissed. They knew Olivia was too. None of them had ever hear her yell at anyone like that. As soon as Trudy found out, she came to Med. Once someone else was with Hank, Olivia went to call Christian to tell him what had happened. He said he would talk to Sergeant Bell. She then called Fin before she went back to Hank.

"Hank, I am so sorry about him. He has never wanted me to be happy. Fin said he must have found your letter in my desk when he was looking for something to leave me a note with because he left one on my desk. He had no business being in my desk in the first place. I guess that serves me right for not locking it. What did he say to you?"

"He came in and folded my IV tubing. He told me he was my worst nightmare. He said if I wanted to get out of here alive, he would suggest I stay away from you because he knows you love him. I told him he only hears what he wants to hear and never listens to anything you have to say. He then put his hand against my throat until I started gasping for air. That's when the nurses and the squad came in."

"I will get someone at the door to keep an eye on you around the clock and have only approved visitors allowed up here, which I assume would be the usual people: any of the squad, Olivia's squad if they were to come out here, Noah, Olivia, me, the people from 51, Olive, Daniel, Erin."

"Basically but I'm sure I won't see Olive, Daniel and Erin."

"I left both Erin and Olive messages and told them to contact me at their earliest convenience. I told them not to mess with me."

"Do you ever hear from Erin?"

"Occasionally but it's been close to a year. What happened between the two of you?"

"Bunny died of an overdose 6 months ago, so several weeks before Christmas but before she died, she told both of us at different times that Erin was my daughter. Erin got pissed at me because she thought I knew this entire time. I told her I had no idea because most of my conversations with Bunny were tellin' her she needs to start acting like a mother and to get herself cleaned up if she wants a relationship with Erin at all. She said she knew and she had tried many times. She said she was plannin' to go to rehab this time but then after that she was found dead of a cocaine overdose. She said she was doin' one thing but turned around and did the exact opposite. Erin pretty much all but blamed me for what happened. You know what? Bunny pretty much got what she deserved."

"And with Olive?"

"She hasn't been back here since she left after Justin died. If I want to see Daniel at all, I have to go there to see him. I even offered to have him come stay with me for a couple weeks while he's off for the summer and she always says it's not a good idea. This time, I called and asked if I could come out there to get him to bring him back and she told me no. She said she, Daniel, her boyfriend and his kid were goin' to Disneyland when I wanted to see him. I give up. All I wanna do is spend time with my grandson."

Hank had tears in his eyes and Olivia had never seen him this vulnerable before. She wrapped her arms around him and held him as he finally broke down. She would have given anything to be able take both his physical and emotional pain away but she knew that wouldn't be easy. Once Hank calmed down again, Olivia left the room and went to make a call. She called Amanda to see if she could bring Noah out to cheer Hank up. She told her she, Fin, Phoebe and Carisi were just talking about that before she called. Olivia told her why and she agreed. Amanda asked her if she wanted her to try to talk to Erin and she said no. She'd handle it. Amanda said she would let her know when they were coming. Olivia hung up and went back to Hank. Trudy texted the squad to tell them that she was putting an officer at Hank's room. Everyone thought that was a good idea.

Everyone in the squad had had it out with Elliot for what he did to Hank and then they booked him. He told them they had nothing on him and he'd be released. He did what he did for Olivia. He would have been happier if he had killed that SOB Hank.

"Who exactly is that guy?"

"I think he's Benson's former partner. Erin told me once that she had compared Hank to him when they first met. I don't always agree with how Voight handles stuff but that Stabler guy is worse. He has such an ego. I've never seen Voight like that in all the years I have known him. We all know that Voight has felt something for Benson ever since they first met and yeah, maybe things won't work for them because of the distance between them but they both need to get their shit together."

"He wrote her a letter tellin' her how he felt. Trudy convinced him to do it and I mailed it. I'm guessin' she feels the same way because she's here and responded the way she did to that Stabler guy."

"Does anyone else have a feelin' that Voight won't be comin' back to work?"

"If he does, it'll be a long time before that can happen. He can't take care of himself right now and can't do stairs, so even going home isn't an option for him at this point. He'll probably have to go to a Rehab facility before he can go home. I wouldn't be surprised if he ends up putting his papers in."

"What happened with Erin and Olive?"

"Erin thinks he knew he was her father and never told her. She all but blamed him for Bunny's death. I have no idea why she would even be defendin' Bunny. She couldn't be trusted. I know he had nothin' to do with it. Olive won't let him see Daniel unless he comes there. I have the feelin' it has a lot to do with what happened to Kevin Bingham but I'm afraid to even suggest that to him."

"When I was with Erin, I didn't trust Bunny. I don't get why she'd be defending her either. Although I can't imagine Voight being with Bunny."

"That wasn't somethin' he was too proud of and now it makes him feel even worse because his own flesh and blood is treatin' him like crap."

"Bingham deserved it for what he did to Justin. We've all done stuff we're not proud of and we've all reached our breaking point at one time or another. Mine was with what happened to Diego and later Eva. I'm lucky I still have a job after my addiction problem. Voight was the one that got me through that and I'm not gonna let him go through this on his own. He needs us more now than he ever has."

"He got me through losing my dad."

"He's gotten me out of a lot of shit over the years and that includes that incident when I was in prison."

"He got you into that though."

"Yeah but we've known each other forever and are more like brothers. It's what brothers do."

"Will usually does what he wants anyway. If he hadn't done what I told him not to do, he and Nat would be married right now. He screwed that up himself."

"Gabby always does what she wants too. I could have gone to Puerto Rico but I wanted my job back. Voight said as long as I didn't have a setback and start usin' again, he'd be ok with it but I had to earn my role in the unit. Is Meredith still pissed at Hank?"

"No. Once Woods was arrested and I got released, she forgave him. She's actually been at the hospital quite a bit."

"How long do you think Olivia will stay?"

"It's hard to say. She has Noah and her squad. I've been thinkin' about takin' the Sergeant's exam just in case. What if Voight decides he's not comin' back? He's got a long road ahead of him. I don't want to sound like I'm forcin' him out though but someone will have to take over indefinitely. Platt has been a big help though and she made the right call by puttin' someone at Voight's room."

"Yeah, she did. I think we can all agree that you're the best choice to take over the unit when the time comes and you're right, Voight does have a long road ahead of him."

Everyone called it a day and went to grab dinner together. Adam and Kim went to get Makayla and Al went to get Meredith. Amanda had called Olivia and told her they were all planning to leave in the morning. Fin had talked to Chief Garland and he was ok with it and he would help out Kat and Velasco if they got any calls over the weekend. He said to let him know if she needed anything. Olivia told her he told her the same thing when she talked to him and said she could take as much time as she needed. She talked to Noah and let him talk to Hank as well. As Olivia was hanging up with Amanda, Erin called. Olivia left the room to take it. Erin pretty much told her that none of this concerned her. She didn't have the time to be coming to Chicago because she was heading out of town. Olivia told her to quit acting like a spoiled child and make time for her dad. She doesn't want to end up doing something she'd eventually end up regretting if something were to happen to Hank. Erin ended up hanging up on her. She went back to Hank's room and she told him the conversation.

"You tried. You can't force her to do anything."

"Her behavior is not acceptable. When I told her to quit acting like a spoiled child and make time for you, she hung up on me. Noah knows better than to do that and believe me, he gets upset with me quite often. I'll tell him I'll be home for dinner and then I'm not because I get stuck working on a case. It happens all the time."

"That's because he had a good upbringing. You raised him right. For whatever reason, Erin has spent more time lately defending Bunny like they were best friends or something. Until she found out I was her dad, she was always closer to me. Our relationship will never be what it once was but I guess I deserve it."

"No, you don't. You didn't deserve this accident or to be in the condition you're in. You also didn't deserve what Elliot did to you. Hopefully he'll get what he deserves."

"I hope so."

Olivia kissed Hank.

"I love you. I hope you know that."

"I love you too. Thanks for bein' here."

"There's no place that I would rather be right now."

They kissed again and then the squad came in.

"This is Makayla."

"Hi Makayla. I'm Olivia."

"It's nice to meet you."

"You too."

"Olivia, it's nice to see you again."

"You too, Meredith."

"That Stabler guy is a piece of work. How can one person have that much of an ego?"

"You don't know him the way I do. I think he has gotten worse."

"He said he did what he did for you and we have nothing on him, so he'll be released. He also said he wished he had killed Voight."

"When we worked together and I was dating someone, he used to act like an ass around whoever it was on purpose. He never wanted me to be happy. Now he thinks I want him because he's widowed. I have told him multiple times that he's not ready for another relationship yet. He needs to properly mourn his wife before he jumps into another relationship. His wife was a friend of mine, so I don't want to be disrespectful to her. Apparently he doesn't care. She was barely in her grave and he was already trying to get into my pants. I want to be with someone I can trust completely and someone who doesn't make everything about himself the way he does. He disappears for 10 years and when he comes back into my life, he acts like nothing ever changed between us. He's not really someone I want around my son. I could actually see him judging Noah for being a dancer. I want Noah to do what makes him happy and that includes any lifestyle choices he might make."

She told them about the conversation she and Noah had had in the last several months.

"He's a good kid."

"Thank you."

"As long as he's happy, that's all that matters. I tell my kids the same thing and they're older. I hope we get to see him. It's been a while."

"He's coming in with Rollins, Fin, Fin's fiancée Phoebe, Carisi and Rollins' girls tomorrow. I figured he might cheer Hank up a bit."

"Adam and I are planning to take Makayla to the Zoo on Sunday, so maybe he can come with us."

"That would be great. He'll probably want to visit the fire station while he's here too. That is one of his favorite things to do in Chicago but it has been a while since he's been here."

"There have been a lot of changes there."

"Trudy told me."

"Any luck with Erin?"

"Nope. She basically told me it was none of my concern. She was heading out of town again, so she didn't have time to come to Chicago. I told her she needed to quit acting like a spoiled child and make time for her dad. She hung up on me."

"I still don't get why she's defending Bunny the way she is. I never trusted Bunny. She was fine until she found out that Voight was her dad. She told me once that she would love to have him for a dad."

"Go figure. Now that I am, she won't have anything to do with me."

"Hank, I need to ask you this. Do you think Olive's problem has somethin' to do with what happened to Kevin Bingham?"

"Oh, I know it does. They haven't been back here since they left after Justin died. I just hope this guy she's with is good to them. Halstead, have you tried talkin' to Erin?"

"I've called her but she never answers and she never calls back. I gave up a long time ago."

"I've even tried but she won't take my calls either and we used to be pretty close."

"She really changed 6 months ago because until then, we were still pretty close. She should be relieved that Bunny is dead. She was only usin' Erin. That was obvious especially after Nadia died. She seems to use the excuse that she's out of town when she doesn't want to be bothered with something. I bet that's what's goin' on now."

"You could have her phone pinged. Then you'll know if she's lying."

Kevin pinged Erin's phone.

"It says she's in Manhattan, New York."

Kevin showed Hank the location.

"Do Olive's."

Hank gave Kevin Olive's number and he pinged it. She came up at the same location.

"Same location."

"Olive will allow Daniel to spend time with Erin but not me. Unbelievable. I'm sure they're enjoyin' this. I'll be sure to remember them both this Christmas."

Everyone who was leaving left. Before Adam, Kim and Makayla left, Makayla hugged Hank and that made him feel better. Antonio, Al and Meredith stayed and of course Olivia was still there.

"Boss, I need to run somthin' by you."

"Ok."

"I've been thinkin' about takin' Sergeant's exam the next time it's offered only because someone is gonna have to take over. I know it'll be a while but what happens if you don't come back? I don't want you to think I'm tryin' to force you out or anything like that."

"Actually, I think that's a good idea. I've been doin' some thinkin', since I have nothin' else to do, I'm leaning towards not goin' back. I don't know what I plan to do but I guess I just need to focus on me right now."

"I can stay here as long as you need me to. I can advise my squad over Zoom or whatever and since Noah's off for the summer, he can stay out here with me. If it's any longer than that, I may have to go back with him to get him settled and meet his teacher when he goes back to school. If we're going to be in a relationship, we need to figure this out."

"I won't be able to go home until I can do stairs."

"I recently talked to Casey about seein' if a chairlift can be put in, so you get upstairs. I suggested a ramp for you to get in the house too. He said a ramp shouldn't be a problem but he'll stop over tomorrow and check things out. I thought that would be easier than puttin' a bathroom on the main level."

"Thanks, Antonio."

"No problem. We still have a good relationship even though he and Gabby are not together anymore. Now he's with Sylvie but I'm happy for them."

Then Matt, Sylvie, Violet, Kelly and Stella came in.

"Olivia."

"Hey."

"This is Violet Mikami, Sylvie's partner on Ambo. Violet, this is Captain Olivia Benson from the NYPD Special Victims Unit."

"It's nice to meet you."

"You too."

"When are you back at the station?"

"Monday."

"Ok. Rollins is coming in tomorrow with Noah and her girls and I just know he'll want to go visit you."

"Not a problem."

"So, I stopped over at your house. I may have to redo your front steps but a ramp shouldn't be a problem at all. If you want, I could do one in the back too but that is completely up to you."

"If it's not too much trouble."

"It shouldn't be. What time would be good for me to come check out the inside stairs?"

"Does 10 o'clock work or is that too early?"

"That's perfect. So, you'll be there?"

"Probably. I'll probably stay here for the night and then I'll need to take a shower anyway, so I'll give myself enough time for that."

"I'll meet you there too."

"That works."

"Are you two a thing now?"

"I think so. The feelings are there I told him I'd stay as long as he needed me to.

"So, how are you feeling, Voight?"

"I'm better than I was a week ago. They do have me up for short periods of time but I can't put much weight on my leg yet."

"I believe it."

"Squad 3, Ambo 61, water rescue at 31st Street Beach."

"Be careful, Babe."

"I will."

Kelly kissed Stella and Sylvie kissed Matt before the 3 of them headed down to the ambo. Then they headed to the beach.

"I understand you two got married."

"We did."

"Congratulations!"

"Thank you."

"We should probably head back."

"You're right."

"Olivia and Antonio, I will see you both tomorrow at 10."

"Ok."

Matt and Stella left to head back to the firehouse. Antonio, Al and Meredith all left too. Olivia headed to the washroom and then she got as comfortable as she could in a chair next to Hank. They both fell asleep.
