Continuing to travel through the ruined castle, Nathan and Naruto stumbled upon a moment of silence, both a good and a bad thing. Stumbling upon a shut tight metal door with a symbol, Nathan took out the map from his pocket. "Same symbol...but what does it have to do with the door?" he muttered to himself. "What you think Naruto?" he turned around to see his friend not being there. "Where the hell did he go?" he walked out of the passageway only to see Naruto standing on a stone pillar as he jumped to a piece of stoned floor.
"Hey what are you doing?" Nathan asked as Naruto just shrugged "I'm... not sure. Just stand back a little." Nathan did so as Damian just took off the rope that had been used as a pulley system to swing towards one of the molten pillars as he kicked it with enough force that most of the pillar broke and as a reaction, it clashed into another pillar. Falling to the ground, Naruto just stood up as he heard Nathan shout out. "Look out!" his brain said that he should look up and when he did so the pulley system was beginning to collapse as the pieces of stone that were being lifted fell to the ground at such a pace that Naruto was lucky to have rolled out of the way in time.
"Woah!" Naruto shouted in shock as he stood up. "You alright!?" Nathan asked in concern as the blond just gave him a thumbs up. "Yeah. Luckily I was able to dodge it in time."
"So now what?"
"My bet is we search that tower." Naruto pointed at the tower. Nathan just looked at the structure as he whistled "You think I'll handle our weight?"
"Of course not which is why you're going to climb it."
"Wait why me?"
"Because I was the one that risked my life to give you a path to get up there. You're almost fully welcome." Naruto stated sarcastically
For a couple of minutes, Naruto had to watch Nathan climb up the tower till he disappeared from his sight when he climbed into the tower. A couple of seconds later he could see the man smirking as he climbed back down so when they met up on the surface he had to ask what made him this happy. "I found some keys." Nathan jingled the tools in front of Naruto. "Okay then...let's go open that door."
The pair went to the door as Nathan tried to open it. Inserting the first key he twisted right but nothing happened. "You sure you twisting correctly?"
"Yes."
"You sure you don't have to twist to the left?" Nathan kept quiet as he did, but nothing happened with the same result. So taking out the key and replacing it with another, he put it in the keyhole as he hopped for it to open.
*Slit*
"Haha. All right." Nathan said with joy as he opened the door, walking into the new place, they realized it was the same room Elena was in but she wasn't in it. Now they had to look for her even more and what's worse they were met with another set of enemies. Having to go gun-ho on them they were able to clear house only to stumble on another set of interesting news.
Just in one of the dungeons, they had walked into Nathan and found some armor that didn't belong to the Spanish but the English.
"The way they are built and all of these tea leaves on the ground. You're not lying they did belong to them." Naruto stated as something caught Nathan's eye, when he fixed a light bulb towards a certain set of scribbles, Nathan and Damian were shocked to see a map of the whole island.
"Fletcher- we have gone to the great tower. I pray that you will meet us there. Francis Drake...wow. So you made it...but what were you plotting?"
"You're talking to yourself again," Naruto informed as Nathan had a slight tint of embarrassment. "Sorry...it's becoming a habit. I guess."
Damian was going to reply when a large bang caught his attention, just then out of cover was another enemy who was holding a shotgun. Luckily Naruto was able to shoot him down before he could pull the trigger. Anyway, after killing the man Naruto and Nathan walked out of the dungeon to be shown a beautiful sight of the island.
Sure it wasn't at a high vantage point but it was beautiful. In the distance were the mountains, as their tops were free from snow, down at the bottom were some forests and there on the banks was a small lake filled with very blue water, it gleamed up as it reflected the sunlight.
"Nice view," Nathan muttered as he and Naruto walked away from the view to a small building outside the dungeon that was filled with more enemies waiting.
One thing led to the next and the two ended up getting shot down by an RPG knocking them out since Nathan had shot down one of the pirates that were going to shoot down Elena.
