I thank you all who've been reading this story from the beginning and those who decided to tune in to see what the hassle is about. Hell thanks to you all, this story now takes the number 2 spot with the most reviews. It's a pretty big feat but the only difference is Cowboy Alchemist's got more favs and followers, but eh it don't matter. I'm writing he's writing Oc stories so in the end were just doing what we desire in terms of writing.
Not to mention this chapter here is special on it's own.
Chapter 24
Carnival Mayhem
It's been almost five days since the whole incident with the Memories getting burned by Amity. Luckily for them not only did they restore them but also learned why the Blight was like that to Luz's first witch friend along with learning more of Evan's past. Not to mention something else a bit disturbing. But despite that, it came, it happened, and it was done, they moved on from it.
However, little did they know that today, was gonna be much more different resulting in something either of them didn't expect.
Right now, in the kitchen we see Eda string the contents of a pot with a wooden spoon. While behind her we see Luz and Evan by the crystal ball talking to Willow & Gus with King sitting nearby.
"So they said I couldn't remove my thumb but look at that!" She then does a trick where she pretends to remove her thumb. "Whoop!"
"You sliced it off!" Gus screamed out in shock and started to panic. "You sliced off your own thumb!
Willow chuckled a bit. "You make doing homework actually fun."
"At least it helps ease the boredom of doing it..." Evan said in a dry tone as he walks over the refrigerator to grab something to eat.
"And they say humans can't do magic." Luz said with a proud face.
"Luz..." She turns to King who climbed up onto the table. "Nyeh! You've been talking to them all morning. Don't forget about the Luz and King comedy hour!"
Hearing this both Eda and Evan perk up with a look of fear on there faces. "Please, no. Not the comedy hour..." Eda whispered as her son scooted over to her sideways feeling the same way.
"The moment they do, let's just book it. Don't look back!" Evan whispered to his mother since he despised their comedy hour as well.
"This week I've been working with props!" He turns around to show a cardboard tube on his nose. "Oh dear, I've gotten a tube stuck on my nose! Will I ever eat again?" He proceeds to slam a piece of break in his face going through it. "Looks like I'm toast!"
They both laugh much to the mother and sons dismay. "And too late...dammit." Evan said cursing himself
"This just goes on like this for an hour!" Eda exclaimed. "Next time we go into town were getting ear plugs, no ifs or buts about it."
"You don't see me disagreeing, do you?"
"Heyo, dough boy, quit loafing around!"
"Why don't you bake me?" King still was in character getting another laugh.
"Ooooowwww! It hurts!" Evan cried out.
"What does?" Luz asked in confusion.
"Your terrible humor." Evan replied. "Oooowwww!"
Eda then laughs at what her boy did. "You that right there? That's funnier than...'that'."
"Oh yeah?" Luz took this as a challenge.
Luz and King laugh. The crystal ball buzzes with an alarm and flashes red. The time, 8:00, flashes below Willow and Gus.
"School time! See you guys in class!"
Willow: "Bye!"
Gus: "But what about the thumb?!"
Luz ends the call while King sighs disappointedly.
"Hey, don't worry. We'll finish our comedy hour when I get home." She proceeds to kiss King's skull and heads for the door.
"Hee hee, oh, you!" King loved the affection waving her off.
"Try not to miss me while I'm gone!" Luz said in a sing songy tone before calling out to her friend. "C'mon Evan let's go."
"Yeah, yeah. I'm coming." Evan grumbled back in response catching up to her as he closed the door behind him.
Like a dog King scrambles over to the door with his tail wagging. "You... you really think she's coming back this time?"
"Yes, she'll be back; she always comes back. It's cute you miss her, though."
"The King of Demons— " He tosses bread and tube off. "The King of Demons misses nobody! I wouldn't care if she came through this door right now!" Much to his luck the door did open swatting him aside. "Wha!"
Luz and Evan come through the door.
Naturally Eda was surprised to see her son and student return. "Hey, you're—"
"You're both back!" The small canine cutted her off and climbs up onto the top of Luz's head. "I didn't miss you at all."
"Uh-huh." Evan commented with a chuckle. "As for why were back here, we got lucky today."
Eda got excited gasping. "Are you ditching!? Oh I'm so proud of you!"
"No, apparently there's an infestation of pixies at Hexside, so school's been canceled."
"Oh...ok...Eh whatever, that's even better." The owl lady commented.
"That sounds like a crumby situation." King said another cheap joke making Evan groan and right on que Hooty came slithering in.
"Hey! Guess what's been in my mouth that I'm about to throw up! Hooty starts gags for several long moment throwing up envelopes. Everyone stares at him in disgust. He finally throws up letters and a box. "The mail!"
"Why the hell can't we just have a regular box?" Evana asked he picked up the box and started wiping it down while
Eda began to go through the letters. "Junk, junk, death hex." She tosses the death hex letter into a trashcan, which condenses into a dark purple ball before disappearing entirely. While continuing to dig through the mail she found a flier reading: Bonesbourough Carnival 1 Day Only. "Oh, a carnival's in town today!"
"A carnival?" Luz got excited and took King off her head. "You know, I've been so busy with school lately, what do you say we take this comedy hour on tour? It'll be a Luz, Evan and King day!"
"That's my kinda day!" The canine exclaimed happily while Evan shrugged his shoulders in response because it could actually be fun.
"I'm down for it. How about you mom?"
Luz Puts an arm around Eda. "Yeah, c'mon Eda, Let's all four of us go!"
"An adventure with friends! I'll go pack my stuff!" He goes off and immediately Eda's brain starts to come up with some idea's stuffing the flier into her hair.
"Carnivals bring crowds and crowds bring suckers. This could be the perfect chance to try out my new get-witch-quick scheme." Takes staff out of pot, knocks goop off of Owlbert. "I'm in! To the carnival!"
Evan Luz and King all cheered in agreement. "To the carnival!"
They all leave just in the nick of time because Hooty just came back looking like he was ready for Hawaii wearing a hat, sunglasses, had a bit of sunscreen on the top part of his beak and even had a camera. "Good news, I'm bringing my knapsack full of games! Hello?" A fly buzzes near him. "Oh, a fly! Talk to me, talk to me!" He starts to chase the fly out of desperation.
We now see the four arrive at the Bonesborough Carnival where we see Luz and Evan now in usual clothes including King who was wearing a phanny pack.
"Well, here we are, kids. Look at all that fresh meat." Eda said glancing at the various people in the area, they saw the eyeball monster from the Conformatirum hanging out with a friend, one of the little kids from Hexside was getting a demon fish as a prize and there was also that pink one-eyed guy from the Convention eating a whole chicken on a stick not even bothered by the flies buzzing around it.
"And smell all the fresh meat!" Luz commented as she closed her eyes taking a whiff of the air not aware that a fly went up her nose causing the human to cough a few times making it come out of her mouth.
"Whoa, that happened...You ok?" Evan questioned a bit surprised that happened.
For a brief moment Luz blushed but no less appreciated his concern. "Yeah, I'm alright."
Owlbert hoots, starts to twist off the staff. "No games for you, Owlbert, we've got scams to run." Owlbert hoots sadly upon hearing this before reverting back to his still state.
"Friends!" A very familiar pig lands in front of them wearing red circus showmen attire. "Welcome!" Everyone jumps into defensive poses. "I see you got my postcard."
Naturally Eda was confused by this. "Tibbles? You sent this?" She looks on the back of the flier. It reads: "To my Owl House Pals, From Tibbles." and has a picture of Tibbles dancing when Eda tilts it. She lowers it and Tibbles is doing the same dance.
"Mm-hmm."
Evan facepalmed at himself for overlooking this. "Aren't you mad at us for destroying your stand?" Luz questioned.
"Ooh, and destroying his life!" King added in without an ounce of care. Most likely because he remembered how the pig made him wear small clothes after Eda lost that stupid card game. "That was the best part!"
Tibbles however waved them off. "No, no, no. I should thank you. After my stand was destroyed, I reevaluated my life and found my true calling! I'm now ringmaster of... " He brings out a whip making it go into the air and snap. "Tibbles's Tent of Tiny Terrors!" He motioned to the said tent.
Luz approaches the terrarium containing tiny unicorns, a tiny manticore, and a tiny griffin. "Aww. It's like a regular circus but adorably small!" The griffin inside hissed at her. Despite this she wasn't disturbed and pressed her face to the glass. "You're my friends now."
"Not only that, but I'm also gonna be putting on a new show that starts today. Today the isles will see the Horrendous Waddle Gobbler." He motions to a large cage that was chained down. There weren't no visible bars or nothing, just only a few small holes.
"Ooh, what's in there?" King instantly got excited rushing up to it and tried to take a peek inside. However, a loud warble emitted from inside the cage scaring the canine off as he rushed behind Evan's leg to hide. "On second thought...I don't wanna know."
"I don't buy it." Eda said as she sends her staff away making dematerialize into energy crossing her arms. "What kind of con are you running?"
"No cons here, Owl Lady, only pros." Tibbles replied. "In fact, why don't we toast our newfound friendship with this totally innocent bottle of water." He pulls out potion bottle.
Eda swipes the potion bottle out of his hands. "Oh yeah, sure! Why don't I just—"Eda throws the bottle. It lands on an Oracle Teacher's head and knocks them on their back.
"I'm okay!" He said.
"I know poison when I see it; you can't scam a scammer! Now speaking of scams..." She walks up to a nearby stand. "Beat it loser!" She knocks the vendors stuff to the ground scaring the poor guy in the process running away. "Step right up to..." With a simple spell circle the stand transforms. "Eda's Human Horror House!" It had now become a stand themed after her apprentice with a head over the stand, and a few photo's of the human that was living with her including an x ray of her brain including some clothes. Instantly she got some attention from a few residents passing by. "Humans shed their skin and I've got proof." she pulls out a fishnet stocking.
Evan blushed for a brief moment seeing that before shaking it off. "I'm not even gonna ask how you have those."
"Better yet she should really put a lock on her closet." King added.
"You know what, Eda can pick through my socks all she wants." Luz said not really minding it one bit. "Because today is all about having a great time with my partner in crime."
"That's me! I love crime!" King was thrilled to hear this while Evan raised and eyebrow.
"What am I chopped liver?"
She got a playful smirk in response. "Nah, you're the getaway driver."
"Well that's freakin nice." Evan said in sarcasm getting them to laugh as they walked off while Tibbles watched them.
"Have a good time, friends!" He called out gaining an evil grin backing into the curtain. "While it lasts." He whispered.
We now cut to a dunk tank called 'Gunk Dunk' that had a skeleton on the dunk board hovering over a cauldron labeled skin. Standing in front of it, was an Abomination Student from Hexside that had a face and skin similar to a puffer fish holding a ball. "Dunk the skeleton! Win a prize!"
A ball hits the target, dumping the skeleton into the cauldron. The skeleton pops out now covered in skin coming back to life. "Ah! Aah! I'm covered in pores!"
We see Evan, Luz and King walking through glancing at the Boiling Isle's strange rides and the human girl was absolutely loving it.
"Now this is my kind of weird! So what do you wanna do first? We could brave the molar coaster... " She motions the said roller coaster that resembled a mouth where the carts were teeth before pointing to a poster reading: Eat the Fried Orb!" "..or eat a mysterious blob..."
"Ooh, what's that?" King spots something that caught his eye and runs up to a prize booth. "Ah!" He examines what was on display, there were three pieces of metal. "Some kind of deadly string weapon."
Luz patted the top of Kings skull. "No, silly. That's a friendship bracelet."
"Is that a type of deadly weapon?"
"A weapon of love." She grabs the threee pieces putting them together forming a heart. "It's basically a declaration to the whole world that you're the best of friends.
"Ooh! That's way safer than becoming blood brothers! Luz, Evan, we must have those bracelets!"
"Aaaaand yoink." The prize vendor said in a bored tone taking the bracelets back. "Sorry, sir and ma'am. If your bone son wants these bracelets you'll have to play the games and win the tickets. You know, carnival rules."
"Do we look like parents too you?" Evan questioned while Luz blushed upon hearing this. "Were only 14!"
The vendor shrugged in response still keeping the same look and bored tone. "Could've fooled me."
King tugged the cuff on Luz's shorts. "Beat up the man and steal his things for me."
"Or let's just play the games." Luz suggested.
"Couldn't we just do it and get it over with?" Evan suggested earning a frown, Luz. "Ok, ok. We'll play games."
"You sure you two ain't?" The vendor asked making the one-eyed warlock glare at him as if it was his way of saying 'Go ahead, say that one more time and see what happens' kind of look.
"C'mon let's play!" King said pushing them forward as they started chanting. "Games! Games! Games! Games!"
But then, out of nowhere Willow and Gus popped out making Luz gasp in excitement. "Friends!" They all hug minus Evan. They looked to him expecting him to join.
"No thanks, I'm a bit cranky because I had nothing to eat all day."
"Oh my gosh, I didn't think I'd see carniv-y'all here."
Gus gives a thumbs-down to the poor joke. "Boo."
"What are you even doing here?" Evan questioned. "Did you get an invitation from Tibbles too?"
"Yeah, as a matter of fact we did." Willow holds up the flier reading: Come the Carnival! To: You other two
"We figured it's a trap since we squashed his stand with a walking house.
"But who cares?" Willow got excited. "This place has a Scarris wheel."
Gus explained what it was. "It's like a human Ferris wheel but it gives you long-lasting nightmares.
"Yes!" Luz was starting to get excited as well. "This mama is ready for trauma."
"Ahem!" Evan & King cleared there throat reminding her that they were there too.
"Oh, yeah. We're on a very important quest to win a special prize for King."
"Oh! We can help with that." Willow was down with the idea.
Gus found this adorable thinking that King was like a little baby do to his size. "Aw. Does the little guy wanna win a prize? Uh, does he? Uh, does he?" He Coos waving his finger at King.
The little canine knocks the finger away. "Nyeh!"
"What do you think, King? The more the merrier, huh?"
"Um, sure..." King answered a bit hesitantly. "Whatever you want, Luz."
"All right. Approval!"
"Hey, hey!" Evan cut himself in stopping Luz from speaking. "Hold on just a minute. You said and I quote 'this is gonna be a Luz, Evan and King Day.' Remember?"
"Yeah, I remember."
"Good. Now, don't we get a say in this?" Evan crossed his arms. "I mean, they show up and then it all changes focusing on you? Because I hate to break it to ya, but that's the road this is gonna go. So, were gonna get a proper answer." He turns to the small canine.
"King, be honest. Are you ok with this? You get a saying in this. Just be honest, after all this was meant to our day. So whatever you decide I'll stick what you choose. Ok?"
King sighed. "Honestly I'm not. But I'm ok with it."
"Are you sure?"
"Yeah. I'm sure." King replies as Willow, Luz, and Gus cheer. The three of them jog away. King tries to keep up and trips before Evan helps him up not being the one to leave him behind.
Willow is seen rolling a skee-ball into the machine's mouth. Luz and Gus cheer her on and the three of them run off. King arrives and gets hit with the ball when the machine spits it at him in response Evan throws the ball right back at it hitting the machine in the face.
The four of them are walking when they notice a picture board. They all stick their heads through the holes, but King is stuck with being the trashcan. ut then it shifted with the trashcan turning into a monster much to the canine's delight thanks to Evan's illusion magic.
We now see Luz taking a bite out of a fried orb and hands it to Willow. She takes a small bite out of it and hands it to Gus. He eats the rest of it, earning a smack behind the head from Evan and gives a whole friend orb to King who happily eats it while eating his own.
We now change to show King jumping and grunting in frustration trying to play a booth called 'Pop the Polyp.'. As this was going on, Willow was telling Luz how the pixxie infestation started, neither them or Gus was paying attention to King struggling all except for Evan. Seeing this Evan sighs shaking his head giving the canine a boost allowing him to throw the dart hitting something that resembled a pimple popping it.
With a grin Evan takes three darts and throws them all at once each one hitting their targets head on. Instantly they got some prizes. "Whoo-hoo!" Both of them cheered.
...
We now shift to a table where the group was having lunch. Naturally being the big eater, Evan was chowing down on a big tray of nacho's while the others watched him gobble it down with ease.
"Wow...He's really into it..." Willow commented as she ate her lunch.
"Yeah, I've only seen this on the crystal ball. How's doing that?" Gus added.
"Hush! Let him focus!" King told them. "C'mon you got this."
"Evan don't you think that's a bit much?" Luz asked holding back a chuckle making him pause from eating for a brief moment.
"Hey, I told you I haven't eaten all day." The one-eyed warlock replied as he wiped cheese off his lips. "Plus this is pretty good." As he was eating a whole bunch of cheese fell onto his pants. "Ah, crap. I'll be right back gotta clean this." He walks off to clean the mess that was made.
"Hang on, I'm coming too. I'm gonna get myself some of that rotten candy." King said as he went after him to catch up bringing the nacho's along with him.
Now that Evan was gone Luz figured now would be a better time than any to talk to her friends to get something off of her chest. "Hey guys can I ask you something?"
"Sure Luz what is it?" Willow asked with a mouthful.
"Well...would you two be honest with me and your own personal opinion what are your thoughts on Evan?"
Hearing this Gus and Willow exchanged a glance with one another.
"Uh...sometimes an A word, but ok I guess?" Gus replies.
"But when you get to know him he's actually a really nice guy." Willow gave her response and had a feeling something was up with her. "Why do you ask?"
"No reason."
"Luz..." Willow knew that something was up.
"Ok, ok. I've been meaning to talk to you guys but other stuff came up...You remember when we were fixing both your memories?" They both nodded. "Well I... might've saw something."
"What did you see?" Gus was now curious to know.
"Well, it was a bit dark, but the other half was as nice..."
"And?" Willow motioned her to continue and now the human knew there was no going back at this point as she sheepishly rubbed the back of her head.
"Guys...I think Evan...might have...a crush on me."
Silence fell for a few brief seconds as the words sunk in.
"Oh, that we know." Gus spike up and quickly covered his mouth realizing he said something he wasn't supposed to while Willow gave him a disapproving glare.
"Wait what?" Luz turned her head over to them making sure she heard it correctly. "You know? How?"
"Please forget about it..." Gus begged. "He said he'll skin us alive if we told you."
"Well the cats already out the bag thanks to you." Willow said to her friend before sighing and began to explain. "You remember that time we went to Aqua Lagoona before you both got started at school?"
"The one where Evan had that staring contest? Did he tell you while you were guys were imprisoned by that merchant?"
"Not intentionally...we sort of figured it out...I won't get to much into details, but just only that since you arrived, his whole world has been much better...I think he just doesn't really know what to do...Luz what do you think?"
"I'll be honest, Evan's been helping me ever since I came here, he was actually the first person to just see me...Not the Luz who made screw ups at home but just me...I was never good at making friends back home yet somehow I was able to make a really good one here. I honestly like him too, but...A part of me isn't really to sure either."
"Well it sounds to me that you two should at least try to talk about it..." Willow said getting a nod from Luz and unbeknownst to them Evan was listening in on the whole conversation the whole time trying to absorb what was just said. It also just so happened that King was with him and heard all that was said to.
Evan than began to walk off. "Evan where are you going?"
"Eh...I'm gonna go play some of those games." Evan replied patting the top of the canine's skull. "Don't worry King I'm not going anywhere I just a little time to myself ok? Just don't tell them."
"Oh King, you're here. Where's Evan?"
"Oh...he just decided to get a head start to help us win some of those tickets." King told them sticking to what Evan told him to say to them. But regardless he did it because Evan made sure he wouldn't be left out so it was the least he could do.
A little while later we see King sitting in front of a narrow booth watching as Luz, Willow and Gus had fun. He glanced over to a drawing that read "CARNIVAL best with friends." Upon seeing and reading it he sighs.
"Oh, my, my, my. You seem troubled." A voice said
"Weh?" King glanced around in confusion. "Who said that?"
He turned around to see a certain pig demon in disuigse wearing a mustache and purple fortune teller clothes. "It is I. Obvioso, the all-seeing psychic."
"Haven't I seen you somewhere?" King questioned. "It's almost so..."
"Obvious?" The pig finished what he was gonna say.
"That's what I was gonna say. Wow! You really are psychic."
"You're right. And Obvioso can see that something is bothering you, little friend."
King sighed not knowing he was being played. "You got my number, Obvioso. Today was supposed to be about me and Luz, see? But now she's distracted by her cool new school friends. Plus, she and my best friend Evan are having a hard time figuring stuff out?"
"What stuff?"
"I think mutual attraction?"
Tibbles eyes widened for a brief moment and smirked gaining a very devious idea and continued playing his character. "What if I were to tell you that there was a way to help your frends and make all of your problems disappear?"
"I'd say that sounds illegal." King said in a plain tone before growing intrigued. "I would also say go on."
Tibbles ducks back into booth and laughs knowing his plan was now truly beginning; and grabs the same potion bottle he gave to Eda earlier. "Behold!" Tibbles sprays a nearby creature on a perch with the potion. It disappears in a flash of pink light.
"Holy bones! You poofed it. Call the cops! This guy's crazy!"
Tibbles chuckles at his reaction. "Hey. The spray is only temporary. I just give my cheeks a tap and then..." He taps his cheeks twice and the creature reappears, visibly terrified. "...it returns safe and sound."
The creature squawks and lays an egg. The egg cracks and a baby creature chirps. He hands the bottle to King. "Take this. Enjoy the carnival without the problems. Evan, Luz, Willow, and Gus will be none the wiser.
"Whoa! You even know their names. Guess there's no use arguing with a fortune-teller. Thanks, Obvioso." King walks away while Tibbles takes off the mustache laughing evilly knowing his plot for revenge can fully begin. "Hey!" King returns making the pig panic putting the mustache back on, holding it in place. "Side note: in the future, do I ever find loooooove?"
"Uh... yes?" Tibbles replied a bit wierded out by the question but answers no less sighing in relief as King laughs now leaving.
King was now seen humming gazing down at the bottle. "Hmm, maybe I should think about this first."
"King!" Luz comes over to him and quickly he shoves the bottle in his fanny pack. "Sorry for making you wait little dude."
"Hey, it's okay." He grabs Luz's hand. "Let's go back to the games and help Evan win those bracelets."
But as they were going Gus grabs her other hand. "But we haven't gone on any rides and there's no line for the bumper carcasses."
King tugs on Luz's arm. "Games!
Gus tugs her arm. "Carcasses!
King wouldn't back down. "Games!
"Carcasses!" Gus wouldn't back down either.
Luz's stomach growls loudly making them stop arguing as they all look at it. "Looks I'm still hungry! I'm gonna grab some rotten candy while you guys figure this out. Byyyye!" She runs off.
Willow starts talking to Gus. "When Luz comes back let's go on the three-man cauldron spinner."
"Or the triple swing."
"Oh, and that's close to those photo booths that can fit exactly three people." Lisening to this King was starting to grow frustrated and feeling jealous hearing all this and excluding not only him but Evan out as well.
"But today was me, Evan and Luz's day."
"Aw. Does the little baby boo miss his buddies?" He Picks King up treating him like a baby while Willow chuckles at what he was doing. "Uh, does he? Uh, does he?"
King was really starting to get fed up getting treated like a baby. "The King of Demons misses nobody!" Gus ignores this and continues to laugh holding him. "I demand you put me down!" The potion falls out of King's pouch. It lands on the ground and sprays Willow and Gus.
They both looked down to see the bottle that sprayed them both who were confused. "What?" *POOF!* Just like that they disappeared letting King get dropped.
"Oh, no! What have I done?" King began to panic grabbing the bottle and much to his displeasure Luz came back with the rotten candy.
"Wow. I guess they really wanted to ride those bumper carcasses." She commented looking around noticing her two other friends were gone. She also didn't notice King stuffing the bottle into his phanny pack.
"Actually, Luz. There's something I gotta tell you."
"No. There's something I gotta tell you, King." She said firmly before squatting down to his level. "I said I'd help you win those friendship bracelets. So win them we shall, also maybe find Evan at the same time okay?"
"Uh... " King weighed out his options. "Willow and Gus will be okay for a little while, right?"
"What was that?"
"Nothing!" King grabs her hand. "Now let's go!" He chuckles nervously as they moved on.
"Ready or not, here we crumb." Luz joked.
"Yes! Ha ha!"
We now pan down to Willow and Gus, who have actually shrunk and not disappeared. "First, I'm growing out of my clothes. Now I'm shrinking? Dang, puberty. You're the craziest coaster of 'em all.
"Ugh." Willow facepalmed. "No Gus nothing like that. We got a problem here. We shrunk!"
"No!" Gus yelled out sobbing. "I just got tall enough for the rides! Why!?"
"Sketchy carnival rides are not to blame this time." She deduced. "King had something in his pouch that made us small." A shadow falls over them and. "Gus..." She points the cause of the shadow. It was the same creature that Tibbles sprayed before is now standing in front of them. The creature roars making Gus scream while Willow grabs his hand running over to a styrofoam cup. Willow moves it so they're standing under it.
"I think we're safe now." Gus commented but instead jinxed them as a tongue pierces the cup three times making them scream
"Ew!" Gus hugs Willow in fear.
"Enough of this!" Willow's eyes glow green. Vines sprout from the ground and grab onto the creature's tongue, trapping it on the cup. Willow and Gus run to a dropped rotten candy. "Quick! We have to find Luz or Evan and get there attention before any more carnival animals hunt us down."
Willow grabs some rotten candy and whistles. A fly lands and eats the rotten candy. "Eat up, my stead. Lead us to safety." She climbed onto it including.
"It's so hairy..."Gus was grossed out. "Why is it so hairy?" He asked.
"Because up close..." The fly takes off the ground. "...Everything is hairy." Willow replied as she grabs Gus and flies off.
We now cut to Eda's Human Horror House.
"Round as the moon, her ears are, with mood swings as terrifying as night itself. Now..." She leans down to take out a fidget spinner. "Who wants to touch an outdated human reference?" She spins it and the people at her stand pull out snails.
"I do!" "Me!"
"Okay, show's over!" A clown guard called out spooking the people and surprising Eda making the fidget spinner fly. "This witch doesn't have a license." Seeing this the customers ran off.
"I can't do time again!" "Run!"
"Ah...What are you?" Eda wasn't impressed. "The fun police?"
"Yes!" He Squeaks badge that reads "Fun Police". "And you're coming with me." He hit the squeaky night stick against palm.
"Uh, excuse me, sir. I'd like to have a word with your...staff!" She reaches underneath the counter of her booth and points her staff but noticed that the top was empty missing a palisman guard; she looks at the interlock. "Owlbert! Owlbert! Where are you?"
She looks over to see Owlbert hooting happily and playing Whack-A-Giraffe. "Owlbert, you're lucky I can't be mad at your adorable antics. And the fact I forgot that Lobo's home." Eda climbs over her stand and runs. Something clatters loudly. She has fallen into a rotten candy machine.
"Hey, I caught her." The machine vendor said.
The clown guard walks over, shoes squeaking, and magically ties Eda up and pulls her out of the machine. Her hair is now covered in rotten candy. "I hate carnivals."
We now cut to see King leading Luz through the carnival. They stop at the prize booth. The friendship bracelets are still there.
King drags Luz onward. Willow and Gus, on the fly, fly up from behind the friendship bracelet frame and follow them.
We see Luz and King failing at skee-ball. Luz tickles the machines, which lets King successfully throw the ball in. Tickets spew out of the machine/monster as the two cheer.
For a brief moment Willow and Gus caught sight of Evan at a strong man game. They also didn't notice that he was a bit aggravated. Willow gets the fly over to there but the moment he raised up the hammer and slams it down the bell rings loudly and because of how small they were the witch and warlock cover there ears from the noise and the almost lost control of fly.
We now cut to see Gus poking the hairy back of the fly and recoiling in disgust. Willow directs the fly to Luz and King, but they move. The fly lands in the rotten candy machine and the shrunken duo was caught in a whirlpool of rotten candy.
Next we see Luz and King at a ring toss. One of the bottles hops out of the way of Luz's ring. The attendant shrugs. King shoves a ring over the attendant's body and the attendant reluctantly hands them tickets.
Afterwards we see Willow and Gus climbing onto a stand, covered in rotten candy. Both were tied and exhausted
"We can't keep doing this..." Gus groaned
Willow gasps upon noticing a hall of mirrors. Instantly she gained an idea that would help them. "We won't have to for much longer."
We now cut to see Eda tied up sitting under a banner that reads "THE FUN POLICE because crime is no laughing matter."
"Just when I thought I couldn't respect the law any less..." From across the table the owner of the carnival sits down and sets his squeaky shoes onto the table. "...It surprises me."
"So, I hear you're running scams at my carnival? That's my job." The clown said pointing at himself. "And I take my job very seriously." His bow tie spins.
"Spare me the yuks." Eda replied in a bored. "What do you want?"
"Since I'm a forgiving and fair demon, I'll give you two options." He gestures to her and Evan's wanted posters "I can pass you along to the Emperor's Coven, who'll throw you and your child into Conformatorium, or you can scam for me."
He points to a dress on a mannequin and a cart of caramel crab apples She groans in response already knowing she wasn't gonna enjoy this.
We now see the prize booth, where the vendor was counting Luz and King's tickets. "1230... 1231...1232..."
King squeals in excitement feeling good knowing that the prize was almost within his grasp. Luz picks him up. "Now, King, before you spend your tickets are you sure you want those friendship bracelets and not this bad boy?"
Luz points over to a cursed skull, whose eye glows roaring away spooking them in the process. "I am the King of Night. And every breath you take brings you closer to dark~ness." The skull's eyes stopped glowing.
Despite that Luz wan't bothered by it. "This guy's a riot."
"Yes, Luz. I want the bracelets. It's kind of important to me, okay?"
"I can be important to you. I, who have seen the birth and death of countless nations—
The Prize Vendor smacks the skull with a broom making it whine. "Hey, stop it. No, no. Stop it." He resumes counting. "Yes, where was I, uh... Well, lost count. Okay, one, two, three, four, five, six..." While this happens the fly that Willow and Gus were riding on
The fly drops rotten candy in Luz's hair. She feels it. "Ugh, gross. I'm gonna need a mirror. I'll be right back, King. [Leaves.]
"12, 13, 14...
King was starting to grow impatient with the vendor "Count faster!"
Near the outside the house of mirrors, which is being pointed to by several arrows on the ground made of rotten candy. Luz notices this and follows the arrows. "Oh. There we go."
She enters the house of mirrors. There were more arrows inside, leading past a wall of mirrors that alter Luz's character design in everyone. Such as a werewolf, a skeleton, a living pumpkin, an alien, an anime character and a celestial being? She reaches the end of the arrows where there was a whole bunch of rotten candy written in in three words.
"You made it" She read what was said. "Aw. What a supportive sign. Wait a sec." She noticed Willow and Gus are reflected in a mirror. "Supportive friends!"
"Wait, Luz, don't do it!" Willow called out but it was too late as the human girl runs into the mirror and slides to the ground. While rubbing her head, she was confused. "Huh?
Willow's reflection points down. Willow and Gus step forward she was instantly freaked out by this. "Oh...my gosh."
...
Back to the prize vendor he just finished counting up the tickets.
"One million. Yep, I just counted to one million." He said still in a bored tone. "The bracelets are yours." He hands them to King.
"Yes. Yes! Now Luz, Evan and I will share a bond as mighty as these trinkets!" He laughs victoriously putting them in his panny pack and starts to go look for Luz. After a little bit of searching he eventually goes into the house of mirrors and finds her after going around a corner. "Heya, Luz. Good news. I got the bracelets."
Instead of being happy Luz turned around like a mother would after finding something out. "King..."
"Huh?" He was confused until Luz holds out her hand, on which are Willow and Gus. King yelps surprised to see them in this state.
"You splashed us with something to make us small." Willow said.
"And now I can't go on the big boy rides!" Gus complained jumping up and down. "You monster."
"Y-you weren't supposed to shrink..." King began to stutter. "You-You were supposed to disappear." He realized what was just said and began to panic shocking Luz. "Ooh, no. Wait."
"What?"
"No, no, no. Luz, I can explain. I wanted to win the bracelets and there was this psychic, see?" He brings out the bottle showing it to her.
"That must've been what did it." Luz puts Willow and Gus down and walked over to him holding out her hand. "Give me the spray bottle, King.
"No, wait I-I-I gotta explain."
"There's nothing to explain." She tries to take the bottle. and a tug of war started.
"I was just trying to..."
"Shrink my friends!?"
"I was just trying to solve my problems a-a-and trying to help you and Evan!"
"Wait what?" Luz questioned confused by what he meant as the bottle slips out of their hands. The spray nozzles loosens, resulting in both Luz and King getting splashed with the potion.
"Uh-oh." They both said. Luz and King shrink. Willow and Gus walk up to them.
"Hi." They both greeted not very displeased that now they had all shrunken down in the same situation as they were.
"Wait, I can fix it. Obvioso showed me how. Behold." He tapes his cheek but nothing happens. Confused he taps his cheeks a couple more times. "Why isn't this working?"
"I'd say it's working quite well." A voice spoke up and much to their displeasure Tibbles was right there leering down at them very pleased to see that plan was now in full effect.
...
We now cut to see Evan playing a bottle toss game. He throws the ball at the stack directly but they didn't go down. "Sorry son, better luck next time." The vendor said in a pleased tone making Evan frown in annoyance as he blasted the stack of bottles scaring the vendor in the process who gave him blue cat figure with wings from a certian anime.
He takes it and sits up against a nearby tree and sighs. Oddly enough he looks at the stuffed cat and gives it a voice. "Evan you idiot what are you doing?"
"I'm trying to figure something out." Evan replied playing along with this.
"And how's that working out for you?"
"Not good."
"No kidding. You know should probably talk to her about this."
"I don't know..."
"There you go again! I don't know! What's your next answer gonna be later? That's ships already sailed!"
"Give me a break I'm new at this stuff!"
"Oh yeah? What else you got to say!?"
Evan than paused. "Wait, why am I talking to stuffed toy about this?"
"Hello young Clawthorne." Evan turned over to see Tiblbes. He shook his head walking off trying to ignore him.
"What do you want?"
"Not in a very chipper mood are you?" He asked following him as he stopped and turned around. "Shouldn't you be with your friends?"
"What?"
Tibbles smirked now know he had his attention. "I think I have something that might grab your attention." He proceeds to pull out a small glass cage.
He gasped upon seeing what was inside. It was his friends, all shrunk down.
"Evan!"
"Get our of of here!" Luz and King cried out as he was tying to absorb what was happening.
"What the!? Guys!?" Evan gets a spell ready. "What did you to them piglet!?"
"Ah, ah." Tibbles warned waving out a finger. "I'm in control right now. And as of this moment your gonna do exactly as I say."
"Why should I?"
"Oh I don't know...maybe this?" He holds up a green vial. "This is importer poison straight from a hydra. One drop can instantly melt your insides of course a whole bottle on the other hand can do a whole lot of much worse things."
"What you want my reward?"
"Oho, no. That wouldn't be as satisfying." Tibbles answered. "If you do as I say and comply with demands your friends will be safe."
Evan weighed out his options, he could easily turn this swine into a pork chop. But on the other hand he didn't know what other tricks he'd have up his sleeves. He didn't like this at all. However Tibbles has the upper edge and he didn't.
With a loud frustrated groan Evan stopped prepping his spell.
"Fine what do you want?"
...
We now see Tibbles walking alongside Evan approaching a different and larger tent compared to his Tent of Tiny Terrors. In the pigs hand he was still carrying the glass cage that contained Luz, Willow, Gus, and King. Inside the small canine was still tapping his cheeks.
"Um, Luz, I think King is broken."
"Tapping my cheeks is supposed to turn us normal. The psychic told me."
Evan sighed at this. "King, you got scammed little bro. He tricked you." Much to King's dismay now realizing he was right.
Tibbles chuckled in amusement. "At least he's smarter than you. This potion was designed by me. Guess whose cheeks control it?"
"Why are you doing this?" Luz questioned as Tibbles glared down at them.
"When you destroyed my stand, you destroyed generations of Grimm Hammer history. Now it's time to pay." They enter the tent and all around there were a few crowds of people and in the middle of everything was a large arena and outside of it was the large cage from earlier shaking around like crazy.
"Here's how this'll work. You fight this monstrosity, win and you get your friends back. You lose than I'll turn you in and get your reward and still let them free? Sound fair?"
"Fine." Evan replies as he looks to his shrunken friends. "Don't worry guys, I'm gonna get us out of this. So just give me a little time." They all nod in response as he and Tibbles proceeds to go into the arena walking beside each other.
Once there the crowd goes silent as Tibble's hold's a microphone. "Welcome to the greatest show on the Boiling Isles!" Spotlights shine on him and Evan as the crowd cheers.
"Today I bring you all for a special treat! You've all seen my Tent of Tiny Terror's but now I have something special." The lights shine upon the cage. "Within this confined box lies the Ravenous Wattle Gobbler!" He instantly got some "oooh's" and from others gasps of shock.
"Will this warlock survive in battle against one of the isle's many most fearsome predators? Let's find out!" He exits out of the arena and motions to the workers to unlock the cage allowing the chains to drop with the front door getting kicked down emitting a loud noise. Soon enough a gobble was heard and loud stomping noises was heard as Evan and the audience watched as the creature emerged from the cage.
It was a humungous giant turkey it had a vicious looking face and the top of it's back feathers resembled more like sharp blades.
From the sidelines we see the shrunken group looking at the beast surprised to see this creature.
"Whoa..." King commented.
"That is one big bird." Luz added.
"You all ruined my livelihood. So now, you'll feed my livelihood and the Owl Lady will lose something just as valuable."
"I don't like this..."
"Maybe it's friendly?" Gus suggested before the the giant bird snarled becoming horrific. This got a frown from Willow. "Ok, maybe not."
With a twirl of his fingers Tibbles made the spotlights turn on. "Place your bets and enjoy the show!"
"Well, if this is it...At least I'm with my best friends. And King." Gus said frowning at the last name.
Back at the arena the Gobbler gobbled and began it's attack and tried to peck Evan who humped to the side avoiding the large beak and again. Evan rolled underneath it's large body making a spell circle that shot out a volt of lighting making the bird turn around and try to peck him again but he kept dodging the attacks with ease.
"Oh come on you stupid bird!" Evan mocked as he was running and dodging it's pecking. "I've seen dragons that put up a better fight!" Then much to his surprise it breathed freakin fire! and he narrowly avoided it.
"And of course, it breaths fire! How much more cliche can this get!?" Evan exclaimed in a dry sarcastic tone dodging the flames. As this was going on Eda was selling apples not aware that her child was in a death match selling out food.
"Caramel Crab Apples. Get 'em hot and pinchy."
"Hey, over here!" A random guy called out.
"Yeah, yeah." She reaches into her tray and winces feeling one of them pinch her finger lifting it up. "Hold your spider-horses."
Back in the arena we see Evan running making small spell circles rapidly which sent a few ice spikes that shot towards the gobbler that merely melted them with it's flames and flapped out it's wings sending out it's sharp feathers right towards him as he evaded each one.
"Sheesh, this thing is tough...Huh?" He raised an eyebrow in confusion watching as the gobbler turned around and raised it's rear end up? Evan deadpanned realizing what was happening. "You gotta be kidding me..."
The Gobbler began to shoot out large eggs which flew up into the air like mortar shells each one landing going off like bombs.
"C'mon Evan you can do it!" Willow cheered for her friend.
"Own that bird!" Gus added while
"We've gotta find a way out of here!" Luz said trying to desperately look for an exit of somesort to help them out.
From King's perspective he watched as Evan was fighting at his best to fight the Gobbler dodging it's beak jabs and it's flames. He then glanced over to Willow, Gus and Luz, all of them were worried just as he was praying that their friend who was fighting would succeed.
"Ah, King, you idiot. This is all your fault." He pulls the friendship bracelets...But I think I know how to fix it."
King walks over to the three teens and taps there legs grabbing their attention. "King?"
"Willow, Gus, I'm sorry for poofing you." He apologized to the witch and warlock before looking over to his other special friend. "And Luz, I'm sorry for taking away your friends. I know you'll eventually go home and now you're spending more time at school. I just... wanna be around you!" Luz looks surprised hearing this and conintued to listen to what he said. "And honestly...I think Evan feels the same way...He's taking this whole thing in his onw way...Plus we also heard you guys talking..."
The three of them glanced to another even more surprised to hear this revelation. "That's why he went on his own?"
"Yeah..." The small canine glanced down at three small pieces of metal. "I just thought that these would help us remember all the good times we had together...Because I never want to forget it..."
Luz smiled and put a hand on his shoulder. "I appreciate what you tried to do King, and I'll promise to talk to him ok?" King nodded before gaining a look of determination. "I got us into this, so let me fix this."
Luz glanced over to Gus and Willow who nodded showing they were with him. "What do you have in mind?"
Back over at the crowds they were starting to get restless and bored with the show.
"No!" "Boo! Boo!
From atop his large pile of snails. Tibbles lifted off a coin off of his eye. "No refunds." He informed before putting it back on.
At the same time Eda was trying to having her own qualms with the crowd. "Hey, hey. No discounts, buddy."
"You guys owe me." A guy complained. "There's nothing happening in this show."
"Yeah, that dumb kid hasn't have gotten hurt yet."
Eda was confused by this. "Dumb kid?" She turns to the arena and squints to see who was dodging the Gobblers attacks. "Wait..." She finally see's it's Evan throwing a big rock right into the bird's head. "That's my dumb kid!" She exclaimed now realizing what was happening.
Meanwhile down at the arena Evan made a large spell circle and from it a giant hammer materialized. Using his strength, he swung it sideways hitting the gobbler in the side that warbled out in pain before swatting it away with one of its large talons and swatted Evan away with one of its wings making him roll across the floor.
He groaned feeling the full force of the impact from that last blow getting back onto his feet. "That hurt..." He then glared at the bird before him and grinned. "Ok birdy, you've been putting me on the run...Now I'm gonna get my own payback."
Evan proceeded to create multiple large spell circles not just one or two, but rapidly multiple in total twenty. Soon enough all the energy used to make it all converged into a solid mass. When it was done, and much to everyone's surprise a large, long blade in the form of a sword with the one-eyed warlock holding the handle.
Naturally Tibbles caught wind of the audience attitude changing and looked to see what the fuss was about. But when he did he gasped upon seeing what this seemingly regular teen warlock was holding.
"I'm done playing chicken...Come on!" Evan challenged as the teeth of the weapon began to rev up loudly while the Gobbler turned around to fire off it's explosive eggs. Despite the size of the weapon he had, Evan charged forward avoiding the incoming barrages jumped forward shooting off like rocket going right into the Gobbler through it's rectum. Everyone winced upon seeing this and the bird warble out in agony before Evan came out of it covered in it's blood and guts. At the same time the bird split into two pieces each side landing on the ground.
When Evan landed on the ground he sighed in relief as the weapon he had disappeared dropping to his knee's. "Just another day in the office..." He commented tiredly as the crowd cheered enjoying that spectacular yet very violent show. Everyone except Tibbles.
"For crying out loud!" Tibbles cried out in annoyance stomping down onto his hat. "Since when are kids able to do that!? That damn bird costed me a fortune!" As he was doing this King was lifted up by some vines provided by Willow getting into throwing range holding the that were tied together bracelets.
"Alright. I only have one shot. Nyah!" He throws them and like bollows they sped towards the angry pig demon. Successfully they hit his cheeks.
"Gah! Damn flies!" He taps his cheek and realized what he did. "Oh, no." King, Luz, Willow, and Gus all begin to glow.
Surely enough Luz, Gus, Willow and King grew back to normal breaking thier glass prison shatter. They dropped to the ground and sat up sihing in releif. They all also glanced over to the terrarium where the Tiny Terror's were being held where the animals composed of a manticore, griffon and a couple unicorns returned to full sizse shocking them.
"You shrunk the animals too?" Luz questioned Tibbles with an expression that read 'seriously'
"It's the Tent of Tiny Terrors." Tibble's retorted back. "Something needed to be tiny!"
The crowd starts booing again. "Seriously that's it!? Come on there's gotta be more!" A man from the crowd complained.
"Feast! A student throws a crab apple at the buff unicorn, which catches and eats it. The unicorn looks happy. All animals turn to the crowd, growling. Two audience members share a look. The buff unicorn whinnies and raises a hoof. The animals charge forward as the crowd screams and flees.
"They... foiled my plans! You will pay for this!" Tibbles pulls out another bottle.] "This time I'm gonna personally squash you!"
Just then, Eda walks up behind him and she takes the bottle from him. "Oh, no, Tibbles. That's not how entertainment works." She tosses the bottle away. "The bad guy always gets his just desserts." She dumps the crab apples on him.
"Oh, no! Not desserts!"
Eda than turns over to the animals thatw ere imprisoned because of him. "Hey, girls! This one's on the house!"
The animals stop eating as they all look at Tibbles. One unicorn has a crab apple on their mouth and immediately eats it. Tibbles looks down at his clothes as the unicorns chase him out, screaming.
"Looks like we ruined his life for a second time." Willow commented
"We're on a roll." Gus said in a pleased tone.
"Yeah..." They all looked over to see Evan who was still drenched in blood. "That's for sure."
"Evan you're ok!" King rushed up to the one-eyed warlock. "Look I'm so sorry this all happened...So please don't hit me." Evan merely smiled kneeling down to him and gave him a hug. "You're not mad?"
"Oh I'm mad. Very mad." Evan replied making it clear but still kept his smile. "But I'm glad you're all ok." The canine returned the hug
"All thanks to you, King." Luz said a she kneels down. "Here." She holds out four cracked pieces of the bracelets with the middle piece still remaining intact. "It was all that was left."
"Hold up a second." Evan takes the pieces. "I know how make this better." He makes a spell circle and sure enough the four pieces were restored now they were able to attack to the middle piece that Evan had. "There we are. Here you go."
King takes them very pleased to see this happen." Now, there's a piece for everybody..." Holds two out to Willow and Gus. "I know I messed up, but would you accept them?"
The witch and warlock smiled accepting the kind gesture. "Thank you, King." Willow said taking her piece.
"Yeah." Gus was pleased as well. "I've always wanted to own a jagged piece of cheap metal."
"That was very sweet." Luz proceeded to pick the small canine up.
"I'm sorry, Luz. Demons do crazy things when they've been missing somebody."
Luz whispers into his ear. "And can I tell you a secret? I've been missing you too." She kisses his skull.
King giggles at the affection he was getting. "Hey, we still have a few hours of carnival left. Wanna hit those bumper carcasses?"
"You bread my mind..."
King laughs at the joke "Yes! Bread puns! Bread puns forever!"
"Can we please stop with the jokes?" Evan asked tiredly he then looked over to his mother. "Hey mom you coming?
Eda was now laying on Tibbles's pile of snails. A very pleased look on her face. "Nah. I think I got everything I wanted." Evan shrugged and the four left the tent leaving the witch to enjoy the money she snagged. "Yep. Another great year at the carnival.
A bit later we see Evan sitting outside wearing a plain black shirt and gray pants and was barefoot. His regular clothes were getting washed from all the blood stains that were collected from his fight with the Gobbler. Right now, he was gazing at the sun set.
There was a lot on his mind right now and he needed to make a choice. But the only problem is, he didn't know how. He was new to all of this, most of his life he was making sure to stay alive and being one step ahead of the law of the isle's due to his status as a Wild Warlock. There was a lot of uncertainty, he knew this, he didn't want to run away and ignore that feeling inside of him.
"Evan..." Sure enough it was almost like destiny was giving him a small 'helping hand'.
"Hi Luz..."
"This a nice view." Luz commented as she sat down next to him.
"It is, isn't it? You fun today?"
"Yeah. I did. How about you?"
"About the same. Sorry I left. Also, here." He gave her the cat doll he won.
Luz smiled finding to be very adorable. But she shook her head putting the cat doll into her lap knowing that this was for the best and address this. "Thanks but no, I should be sorry."
"..." Evan didn't speak a word he knew what she was referring to.
"Evan?" She glanced over to him. "Do you have a crush on me?"
"..." He blushed immensely only nodding in response.
"Wow..." She now blushed now knowing this was real. "I don't know what to say..."
"Feeling's mutual."
"Well why do you?"
"I don't know..."
"Why not?"
"Because I don't know...I respect you a lot and well you're the one of the few that can put up with me. And there's the other thing..."
"Other thing?"
"Luz, I'm gonna be honest. The one reason I feel like I can't, is because I don't know how much time we would even have and that part of me is scarred...I hate saying goodbyes."
Luz understood where he was coming from. She knew that soon enough she'd have to return home. She couldn't leave her mom by herself; it wouldn't be fair to her. Especially, considering 'other' things had transpired before she came to the Isle's.
"Evan...I know you feel that way, but. Maybe I want to try." Evan turned to her.
"You think I don't want to? I can't. I could never forgive myself if you get hurt because of me. That's the last thing I want." He returned his gaze to the sun set but felt something touching him. It was her hand placed on his.
"You won't...Because I know. Up till a few months ago, there was never anyone who didn't give up on me. You even go to as far as helping in every way you can, you scold me sometimes yes but even then, you weren't fed up and treated me like another person would aside from my mom."
Evan sighed knowing full well she was stubborn, but so was he. If she was able to peruse her dream of learning magic and facing all sorts of dangerous things along the way. Now this human who he's come to admire a lot not only became one of his closest friends, but she also wanted to try and be something more. He then asked her. "Luz...Why would an amazing person like you, even consider talking to someone like me? Much less be interested. I have zero clue on these sorts of things."
Luz just simply smiled wrapping her hand around his turning over to the sun set. "Why not?"
In that one moment alone, everything in his entire whole being felt like it had gained its own bright sun letting light breath through the darkness.
He smiled as well wrapping his hand around hers.
To be continued
Yep you read right on what you just saw.
Now in terms of what I'm gonna be updating next more of Helluva Servant in total 2 and after that I'll focus a bit of Chris and Kipo which I know some of you have been wondering when I'll update.
Also very recently to a bit of a shout to fellow author LoneWolf427 to help spread the word, he's made super sentai crossover with Owl House called
Owl House: Mystic Rebirth. It's basically where Mystic Force came from Japan if you're into Power Rangers. So yeah if your into those series than by all means go and check it out.
Now replying back to reviewers
TheFranninator:That time will come and as for your thing I'll think about it.
hoffajordanj: That does sound nice
Spiral-Voltron-Zero0Q1: Glad to see you enjoyed it: Many Faced Mage: Only time will tell and I to enjoyed that insult off between Hilda and Odalia
GZilla54: Actually I sort of based his mindscape off of the city from Bloodbourne and yeah it was fun working on this chapter, but a bit hard at the same time with the memories and everything. As for Phil and Eda and how they became official that's something I'll defiantly be working on later on, and yeah more of Saul and Hilda soon yep. A bit more different since Eda is married that's for sure. But I believe without a doubt it'd be because he still does care for her, but respects that she loves someone else and not him, not to mention he gets along well with Phil. As for Alastair oh yeah you can bet that he's got something planned. Something big.
Red Dragon 1995: Glad you noticed, I loved the walkthroughs of the game and have yet to play it though.
Originalplatypus chapter 1: You'll know it when the time comes, and you can bet your ass it's something you don't want to mess with without fearing for your life. You said it not me, for now you'll just have to be patient like the rest and you tell me, everyone earns a 'name' for a reason
To the Guest. I meant by what I said, quit putting up more than one review and stop suggesting ideas on this thing. You want to talk idea's than you P.M me, I appreciate what your trying to do and all, but please just PM if you wish to talk, ok?
