It had taken them about twenty minutes to get to Helen's car. Only to find that it was in fact being watched.

"Well, this sucks. We can't stay here all night the pack will definitely find us along with the hunters that are still roaming the woods. Amara said as she sat on the ground next to where Annabelle had collapsed as soon as they had reached the car.

"Well, I'm open for suggestions and make it quick Annabelle is not doing so good right now." Helen said as she stroked her hand down Annie's side to feel her breathing. It was concerning to the group of how fast she was going downhill.

"If I remember correctly there is an old cabin not far from here. It's where I use to meet Annabelle at. It's about five miles away to the south of us just outside the border of the pack's territory. I started to use it as a safe house." Beth said as she was watching the two who were watching the car.

"Then let's go. There is nothing that I need in the car it was cleaned out a few days ago." Helen said as she quietly stood up.

"What about Annie? I don't think she can go any farther than she has already." Amara said as she looked in between her and the car.

"Beth is there a way you can make her lighter and one of us can carry her." Helen said with her fingers still buried in her niece's fur. It brought her a comfort to know that one of the few family members that she had left was still breathing.

"Yes, I can. We can take turns on who carries her it will go faster." Beth said as she casted the spell and continued to hide the scent from the pack. She then picked up Annabelle with ease and started to lead the way to the cabin.

"Can I carry her for a while Please. It would bring me a strong sense of mind right now." Helen asked looking at Beth.

"Sure. Amara help me pass her over." Beth said as she stopped for a few minutes.

"Yeah, we shouldn't have that much farther to go." Amara said as she helped move Annabelle from the arms of Beth to her aunts. It didn't take long for them to do so with Annie's head resting on Helen's shoulder.

"Let's get moving. We only have a few more miles to go." Beth said as she made sure that Helen had a good grasp on Annabelle.

It only took an hour and a half to reach the cabin. Helen and Amara stopped too take it in.

"It looks creepy as hell but makes for the perfect place to hide." Amara said as she looked at the outside.

"The inside is better then the outside its in illusion to keep unwanted guests out now come I can't hold the spell to mask our scent much longer." Beth said as she walked inside with the others behind her.

"Where can I put her at so I can try to get her to change back." Helen asked Beth she had refused to give her up to Amara when she offered to carry her for a while.

"There is a futon in the living room we can put her there for now." Beth said as she moved further in the room.

"Amara come help me lay her down. Hopefully I can convince her to change back." Helen said as she and Amara laid Annabelle down.

"How are you going to do that?" Beth asked from the other side of the room.

"I'm going to use the family bound that I have with her." Helen said as she sat down on the floor.

"Hang on before you try that. Beth could you open the mate bound with her other half. See if he can get her to?" Amara asked turning to look at her other sister.

"That is actually a good idea I can connect the two. It would be his instinct to protect her. Even if he human." Beth said as she moved to gather a few crystals and candles. What she didn't tell them was that she also connected with her mate to. Both Annie's and hers were brief she did get a good look at him but he was trapped in stone.

She knelt down in front of Annabelle and gently ran her hand through her fur.

"It will be okay Annie we will fix this." Beth said with a sad look on her face as she looked at her friend that was more like a sister to her.

'I have to do this I will not lose her know.' Beth though to herself. She pulled her hands away, hardened her resolve and closed her eyes to concentrate. The air became a shimmer of magic as she placed her hand on Annabelle's head and connected with Annie's mate.

The dream was always the same. In a clearing with flowers and a stream. And she was always there with her back to him long dark brown hair blowing in the wind. He was always drawn to her like a part of him was calling out to her and she was answering in return. A song in the air but this one seamed different then the others.

It was a room this time with a black and white wolf laying on a couch unmoving. He went to move closer but a voice stopped him.

"I see why she likes to keep you to herself." They said.

He looked over his shoulder and saw a woman with red hair behind him.

"Who are you and what do you want?" He said on the defense.

"My name is Beth. Relax I mean you no harm." She said.

"Okay. Why am I here then Beth?" Valmont said still on the defense.

"Because you can help her and she needs you now more then ever." Beth said as she gestured to the wolf behind him.

"And who is she that you are referring to?" He asked.

"You know who she is. You dream about her and she you. Please she doesn't have much time left." Beth said in distress.

"How can a wolf and a woman that I don't even know the name to. To be one and the same." He said with some interest in his voice.

"Loup-garou. And don't tell me that the supernatural is not real since you have a demon sorcerer in your office that has not awoken yet." Beth said getting irate now.

That made Valmont pause in consideration for a moment.

"You feel drawn to her. You have the need to protect her from everything I can see it in your eyes." Beth said as she moved closer.

"How do you know these things?" Valmont said as he watched her move through ice blue eyes.

"Because I'm part witch. Now will you please stop with the twenty questions. And help her already." She said looking him dead in the eyes.

"What is her name if I may ask?" Valmont asked as he turned back to the wolf on the couch. Beth was right about everything he did feel the need to protect her.

Beth smiled at him from behind his back. She walked past him to her and beckoned him closer.

"Place your hand on her head and talk to her get close as you can as well." Beth said as she moved his hand to Annie's head.

"You never did tell me her name." Valmont said as he marveled at how soft the fur was under his hand.

"You will have to learn that for yourself close your eyes and connect with her." Beth instructed him as she pulled away.

He gently buried his fingers in the soft fur and then he felt a strong tingle run up his arm.

'She is always so cryptic.' A new voice said that had a sweet southern mix to it.

Valmont's head snapped up and he looked around to see who else was here. But he didn't see any one not even Beth anymore.

"Who's there?" He demanded.

'Look down.' They said again. And he did so and was meet with a mixture of gold and green eyes looking at him.

"And just who are you, love? Your friend was very tight lipped about giving me your name." Valmont said as his fingers were still in her fur.

'Annabelle. And who are you?' Annie said as she gave a deep sigh and closed her eyes.

"My name is Valmont. Your friend Beth said that I was the only one who could help you. What did she mean?" Valmont asked as he moved his fingers through the fur on her neck and she tilted in to give him better access to it.

'How well do you know of the supernatural? Aside from the stories of monsters from the tells of old.' She asked as she closed her eyes and a grumble escaping her as she adjusted to give him more access.

"Not much other than the stories of old as you call them." Valmont said as he was now scratching under her chin.

'Well every supernatural being has a mate, other half or more commonly known as soulmates. Some can go their hole lives without meeting them and there are some who are lucky enough to have gotten to meet theirs.' Annabelle explained as she now sat up to look at him.

"And what does that have to do with me?" He asked. His ice blue eyes locked on hers.

'Come now Valmont you seem like a smart man. Think about the information Beth and I gave you. You feel a pull to me and I to you. And you will come to your answer.' Annabelle said as she watched him.

"Are you trying to tell me that I'm your mate." He said. As he looked back at her.

In her wait for an answer she has become hardened as she waited for his rejection of her.

'Yes that is exactly what I'm trying to do. Most humans reject the bond and run and there are some who accept it. But that decision is entirely up to you. I will not try to force you into anything.' She said as she still waited to see what he would do.

He sat there going over everything that he had been told and a part of him to him that she was not lying to him.

"I would like to see the woman that I'm bound with in human flesh." He said with a smirk.

'Well that seems to be a problem at the moment.' She said with a sheepish look about her.

"Why is that love." Valmont said as he leaned closer to her.

'Apparently I seem to be stuck in my wolf form at the moment that is one of the reasons that Beth called you here.' Annabelle said as she leaned over to his neck to really take in his senet it helped with the pain.

"And prey, tell. How can I do anything?" Valmont asked as he stroked the fur of her head.

'You are the dominant mate out of the two of us you can order me to change back and I will have no choice but to obey it no matter how painful it will be.' Annie said as she leaned into the ear scratches that he was giving her.

"And why will it be painful to you dear?" Valmont asked as he now pulled back to look at her.

'I was shoot and right now I still have some silver coursing through my veins but that is the least of my problems. I have what is called blood poisoning. It is going to slowly kill me.' Annie said as she now looked down.

"Then you should be in a hospital." Valmont said in a displeased tone and his face stern.

'That's the thing a hospital will only make it worse. There is one thing that can save me now. And it has to do with you, but it has to be willingly given.' Annie said with a lowered head and ears pulled back.

"And what is that little love?" He asked as he pulled her head up to meet his gaze.

'Your blood. It is the only thing that will cure it.' Annabelle said as she still refused to meet his gaze.

He was quite for a few moments as he watched her.

"And how can you take it if you are still a wolf." Valmont said. He watched her now intently.

Her eyes snapped up to meet his with shock upon her face. She was quick to regain herself. She closed her eyes and leaned her head up to his. He was quick to get what she was trying to do and fallowed her. His eyes closed and head against hers.

'Order me to change forms and I will have no choice in it.' Her voices almost like a whisper because it had been so soft.

"I demand that you change forms now." He said as he now opened his eyes and pulled back to watch. Her body had taken on a glow and almost became foggy and soon in place of the wolf was now the woman from his dreams.

"You are beautiful darling. Take what you need I don't want you to suffer." Valmont said with a stern face, and he watched the gold in her eyes disappear and leave behind the green.

"And you give this willingly?" Annabelle asked with hesitation in her voice as well as her face.

"Annabell, I give my blood to you willingly to heal." Valmont said as he gently creased her face with one hand and unbuttoned his night shirt with the other. So he could drop it over her necked form and also give her better access to him.

She looked at him and smiled beautifully then carefully slid from the couch into his lap. In her transition he was able to slid on his nightshirt to her body.

She gently nuzzled his neck and breathed in deeply of his smell. Her body

"You need to drink darling." Valmont said as he held her close.

"This may hurt at first." Annabelle said as she moved her head to get better access to her neck. She gently put her lips to his neck and felt his tense under her.

'This will not do.' She thought it will do more harm then good. So she started to play with him.

"Darling what are you doing?" Valmont asked as he let out a breathy sigh.

"You are to tight and it will hurt you even more if I take blood like that from you. I will not allow any harm by my hand to come to you." Annabelle said. She felt him relax some.

As a result she just sat there in his lap nuzzled up against him. She remembered the way her mom and Helen used to hum to her when she was younger. It was a special sound that females used to settle or comfort pups.

"I would like to try something." Annabelle spoke up from against his neck.

"And what is that, love?" Valmont said as he was running a hand through her hair.

"It's just something that my mother would do when I was younger." Annabelle said not moving from her know proclaimed spot.

"I would be honored to know and be apart of any tradition that you have little wolf." He said as he pulled her closer if that was even possible.

She chuckled and then allowed her wolf to the surface and together they began to hum to him.

To him it almost sounded like a lullaby to sooth children.

It helped him relax and settle him that he never felt the teeth that entered his neck. She got quite and she then licked him neck to clean the wound that she had just made and pulled back.

She looked at him as he had his eyes closed. She already felt better and could feel the effects of her blood posing reversing. Depending on how bad her blood posing had gotten she may have to take more from him. She carefully put her hand on his cheek and gently rubbed it with her thumb.

Valmont opened his eyes and looked at her and can tell that she looked better than before there was color back in her face. He could tell that she has a natural tan to her.

"Do you feel better now, little wolf." He asked holding her hand to his face.

"Yes better then before. Not like I'm on the break of death anymore." She said still looking at him.

They sat there for a while just looking at each other. It was a little while later that she felt Beth calling for her.

"It's time for us to part ways, darlin." Annabelle said with sadness in her voice.

"What do you mean?" Valmont said snapping out of his daze as he was studding her.

"Beth is calling me back and it is time for you to wake up." Annabelle said with a sad smile.

"I don't want to leave you." He said with a frantic look about his face.

Annabelle looked even sadder if possible. So she did the one thing that she has never done before. She leaned and kissed him.

"I will find a way to you I promise. Our connection is stronger than before" Annabelle said as she pulled away.

He watched with heart break as she faded away back to the land of the living.
