The President's Disclosure and Appeal

A bridge officer onboard an Agamemnon class ship is announcing to all the crew and the battlegroup it's with, of an incoming broadcast from Earth on all channels, and on the big screen in front is showing a tired and exhausted Henry Hayes, President of the Atlantic Federation addressing the country and to anyone listening. The speech is both a public disclosure and a declaration of war.
"My fellow citizens of the Atlantic Federation, and to the people of planet Earth and all of our space colonies across sol. In a few hours from now, humanity will be fighting against an ancient enemy that, once upon a time, literally played god with the human race and enslaved and ruled the human race by posing as ancient Deities tens of thousands of years ago."

For the few who opposes the Goa'uld, none more stronger and powerful than the Asgard, and they have opposed the System Lords for thousands of years and forced the Goa'uld to accept treaties that put many worlds under the Protected Planets Treaty and one such planet is Earth.
This treaty have kept the Goa'uld from attacking the Earth for years for fear of the Asgard Wrath…until now. With the end of the civil war, Anubis is marshalling his forces to attack the few worlds and races that can oppose him and we are unfortunately…on top of his list"
The president pause for a moment to drink a cold glass of water and adjusted his glasses before continuing to read his speech
"To my countrymen, my dear friends I can only say that I am very sorry to have kept the Stargate a secret from all of you. We need to because it is the key to open our new future because … because we don't have a future in this world we called the Cosmic Era"

The president stop for a moment, remove his glasses and started rubbing his eyelids and took a deep sigh and then continued on
"Should the Earth fall… they will be humanity legacy. The ones who will continue on when Earth is long gone. Those who will survive will built a new future out there, hopefully not repeating too many of our mistakes and we made far too many mistakes. My hope at least, that, they will be the ones who will fight and take back the galaxy from the tyranny of the Goa'uld"
The president took a deep breath and exhale "Exodus is our worst case or in my opinion the nightmare scenario I never wanted to happen" he said and added the nest with a bit of anger and frustration
"We have been entertaining this because our adversary Anubis is too powerful and too strong, and despite the all of SGC and the Star Forces military might it accumulated…it is still inadequate to fight him!" Hayes said sounding upset and sweating a bit
"My fellow countrymen, my dear friends…I am sorry that…we are putting you thru this again, after rebuilding our lives and built a future we can all be proud of. Our mistake is our belief of…no our arrogance in believing that we are strong enough to fight off any invasion, any threat by the Goa'uld who would dare to violate the Protected Planets Treaty with the Asgard… to stand on our own"
"Now, in order to protect the planet Earth, I asks for help and cooperation of every countries military in the world to side with us to defend the Earth for this planet is much as their home as it is ours. We know that convincing them was not easy, so we offered concessions and tradeoff for their cooperation's and participation most notably, allowing their people to join the exodus operation and settle down on a planet of their own. It's a high price to pay yes, but if it means your safety then we would gladly pay it. And 'Sigh' and yes that also include asking Zaft for help, reluctantly. The Plants has much to lose should Earth fall. But, due to Zaft making a complete ass of themselves, what deal was made with the Plants council and Chairman Dresden … it died with him.
"His death is the Plants death sentence"
And because of this we had to reorganize, prioritize areas of the planet with high population leaving much of the planet wide open for an orbital bombardment"
"We also requested reinforcements from our allies on other worlds across the galaxy…unfortunately, most of them don't have a dedicated space fleet and those that has are too few in numbers to send to us and are needed to defend their own world"
"As for the Asgard, well they have their own problem at the moment, fighting a war against an enemy called the Replicators and they are powerful and more dangerous than the Goa'uld and a threat to us as well if they get to our galaxy. So they can't send help. At least not on time to get here anyway"
"We are on our own" he said shaking his head in dismay of their situation. He stood up behind his desk and look to the camera again and he felt something else needed to be said.
"We have employed all of humanity's arsenal to defend the Earth and it is still not enough to take on an armada of this magnitude. To win… we need a Hail Mary shot, we need a miracle. But I am afraid, we maybe fresh out of miracles and all we can do now is fight and cause as much damage as we can as long as we can"
"If there is anyone else out there who can fight, preferably if you have a mobile suit in hand… we really need your help. And if there are any Earth Alliance soldiers out there… would you fight for Earth… for one last time" The president appealed as he started giving short breaths and sweating badly.
"I know I am asking you to be cannon fodder, hell we are a putting everything and everyone on this last line of defense for Earth. So I asks you to fight by our side. Let us show these parasitic monsters the strength of Earth's Forces and what the courage of a free people are made of!"
"We…need…your help…to protect the Earth our home"
At that moment, the President of the Atlantic Federation fell on the floor unconscious as secret service and aides rush to the president side and one of them who is a doctor felt his forehead and it was hot
"God! He's having a fever" the secret service declared which the whole world just heard and taken him to a hospital. As the nation is shocked at what just happen to their president and the people abroad, the reaction was mix. Yet something stirred when the president's call to arms was heard.
