New Artemis, moving in orbit between the Earth and the Moon
When the Anubis fleet arrive at four million miles from Earth, the AF Star Forces and the allied fleet gear up to confront the alien armada on a defensive position at L2 remaining colony group. New Artemis made a short Hyperspace jump between Earth and the moon to add itself to L2 defense. Once there, they activated Artemis defenses like hidden weapon emplacements open up to reveal the SF weaponry ranging from CIWS, missile launchers, beam weapons and antiship guns like the Lohengrin and MAC guns or Mass Acceleration Cannon which is actually an oversized coil gun.
The Atlantic Federation Star Forces Space Fleet numbering at around 300 warships, is an assortment of new and mostly salvaged Pre-War One vessels, rebuilt and upgraded to SF standards. What new ships they have numbers only about 40 ships now online the rest are still under construction or destroyed in recent battle.

The allied fleet or Terminal is a mix group of Orb ships former EA and Rogue Zaft ships numbered only around 30 ships with rush job modifications from the Star Forces with the Eternal as the flagship of the fleet. And their primary mission is to intercept and destroy Anubis Gundam units with their Gundams.
On the Moon, at Armstrong Crater located in the southern part of the Mare Tranquillitatisis, the AF Star Forces lunar command base have begun to open up thirty of its Mark IV, Heavy Positron cannons codename: Halberd.
The Halberd were raise up from its secret location around the moon and defended by railguns and antiship/anti-mobile suit missile launchers and battalions of ground based mobile suits. And to top it all off, an energy shields was raised to protect the bases and weapon installation.
The Halberd purpose was to take out enemy vessels that tries to attain orbit around Earth at extreme range firing. The Halberd was based on the Archangel class Lohengrin primary weapon yet dramatically improved and upgraded thanks to knowledge gained when they were reverse engineering salvage Tollan Ion cannons and learn how it manages to control energy and its manipulation, which the Tollan traded to the SGC in exchange for trinium ore a few years ago.

SGC at that time was elated to have a working ion cannon and would never made any second thoughts of the trade until SG-1 and a Tollan named Narim discovered that their proud ion cannon was rendered useless against the new shield of a Goa'uld mothership. With their best defense useless the Tollan high council quickly capitulated to the demands of a Goa'uld name Tanis to create a WMD planet killer type bomb fitted with a phase thru technology. This was in exchange of not destroying Tollana, and such a weapon could be deployed thru the Stargate and go thru SGC primary security, the Stargate Iris.
Thankfully, SG-1 prevented the weapon from being deployed by destroying the weapons factory, but when word reach Tanis ears, he attack Tollana and nearly destroyed Tollana but was halted by the combine might of SGC ships and the Asgard, O'Neill class battleships.
The Tollan High Council known as the Curia, didn't have time to berate SG-1 for destroying their facilities because the Tollan people is doing that to them, for they were not happy with the Curia for hiding the truth that their vaunted ion cannon defenses were now useless, nor was them making WMD for the Goa'uld or giving them Tollan technology in exchange for Tollana safety, or being ordered to launch it themselves to another planet, namely Earth.
Events moves fast as the members of the Curia found themselves out of the job while the Tollan people, hastily being evacuated to one of their offworld sights, taking as much of their belongings that they could salvage before the Goa'uld returns.
In a spirit of gratitude, the new chancellor of the Curia, Narim offered SGC all of the Ion cannons they could salvage and though most of them were destroyed, there are still enough of them intact and salvageable for SGC to study and reverse engineer.
When the last Tollan left, the Asgard erase all trace of Tollan technology that can't be save, making sure that the Goa'uld has nothing to scavenge on. SGC was able to salvage at least 40 of the 100 ion cannons that once protected Tollana. Now 20 of which are installed across North America, while the other 20 are installed on the armed fortress above North America and though they are currently ineffective against Anubis modified motherships at the moment, they are capable of destroying the unmodified ones as well as acting as interceptors, destroying incoming Goa'uld plasma fire before it could hit its target, which is an added protection should their version of the Umbrella of Artemis is unable to block most of the incoming fire.

With the moon above the Atlantic Federation, it is now one of the most well defended nation on Sol, the Plants trails on second followed by Orb Union. The other nations unfortunately doesn't have that kind of defenses the others has, especially when the Goa'uld started a planetary bombardment. What they have for protection are underground shelters and bunkers for civilians and current the second Valentine War era weapons.
The space fleet of other nations and not part of Terminal Fleet, is on the defensive around their orbital colonies around L3 and L4, now supplemented by Star Forces and former EA warships. Though would not say it, many felt a little bit better to have a Star Forces ship in their midst, after a Zaft fleet got trounced a while back.
Monitoring the arrival of the armada, the Artemis CIC immediately scans the fleet to identify the Ha'taks that has advance ancient tech shields and weapons installed which was easy enough to identify with their Asgard based scanners.
"It's just as we thought general" Major Davis pointing out to General Maynard "only a quarter belong to Anubis original fleet,"
"And the rest are standard type Ha'taks" the General finished "And it looks like they are splitting into groups, some are heading for L3, L4, and L5… and that's a big concentration of ships heading for the Plants"
"That still leave us a few hundred or more Ha'taks approaching orbit above Earth. Above every major population center on the planet," Davis worried at what they are seeing
"They are not attacking yet" General Maynard pointed out "They are waiting, waiting for Anubis to unleash hell on Earth" it was at that moment that a crewman called everyone attention
"Incoming transmission focus on the surface, the target Washington DC!" he declared

White House
The Oval Office
Henry Hayes was wide awake before he could be hauled off to the nearest military hospital, he willed himself to stand up, refusing to leave the White House no matter what. And so the doctor injected him some medicine to lower his fever and an adrenaline shot, but it's only temporary.
"I am staying" he declared
"But Mr. President," the security advisor did not finish her sentence as the lights flicker and dim, and then Anubis appears, standing in front of the president desk. Everyone scrambles out of their seats to get out of his way. Secret Service men burst, some went to shield the president while the others open fire at Anubis, but the bullets pass straight through him.
"Hold your fire! It's a hologram" the ordered and push his human shield and face Anubis
"I AM ANUBIS" President Hayes walks towards him
"You've got to be kidding"
"YOU ARE THE LEADER OF THIS WORLD"
"Henry Hayes, President of the Atlantic Federation, one nation among many.
"NO MORE. BOW BEFORE YOUR GOD"
HAYES laugh at that "I don't think so! However, I am willing to discuss your surrender"
"IF YOU POSSESSED WEAPONS MATCHING MINE, YOU WOULD HAVE USED THEM"
"Don't let the suit fool you, fella. We're gonna fight you"
"YOU BRING DESTRUCTION UPON YOURSELVES"
Hayes pointed at Anubis in defiance "Never going to happen, not then not now"
Anubis' hologram disappears. The lights come back on. Hayes turns round to the others.
"Too much?"
Above Earth, the rest of Anubis' fleet move into orbit, as the largest mothership, Anubis flagship, approaches the orbit above Washington DC. All of them were given the order to begin the bombardment of Earth by Anubis.
Ba'al Mothership
Meanwhile the group of Anubis ships was closing in on the Plants and looking towards them is the barrel of Zaft 'Genesis Cannon' and they doesn't seem deterred by it, especially Ba'al.
"Oh, how quaint," Ba'al remark in amusement "They sent a welcoming committee just for me"
As the cannon starts building up power until it suddenly stop and began to shut down. It confused Zaft as to why it didn't fire. The reason for that is calling Ba'al right now via Goa'uld communication sphere of a man wearing a gas mask in a Zaft Admiral uniform and for a moment…his eyes glowed.
"My Lord, if you pardon the pun, but we have neutralized the head of the snake, the body is now useless" Ba'al could only laugh at that
"You have done an excellent work Gihren, sowing the seeds of discord among Naturals and Coordinators" Ba'al commended him
"Thank you my lord" he replied grateful of his praise "These Coordinators are easily manipulated, just stoke them with praise of their superior abilities, making them believe to much of themselves of being an 'evolve new species' which they are clearly not"
"True, true," Ba'al agree with him "their hatred to the Natural born humans is a deeply rooted flaw in their creation, and despite all their technological achievements, if they are so smart, then they would have already fix themselves by now and not relying on Naturals to fill their genepool" said Ba'al laughing for a moment
"Now tell the others to standby, I am initiating the Judas program and disarm the last of their defenses for my for my forces to enter the Plants"
"Yes my Lord" after breaking contact, Ba'al walks towards a table where a laptop is on and it's connected to the Zaft high speed data services. Ba'al smiled to see that Zaft adapted the targeting data sharing program meant to give ships and mobile suits accurate lock from radar scanners and visual lock from hundreds of satellites and ships all around the Plants.
Data from them are sorted out by a program and then shows a near 100 percent accurate lock should an N-Jammer disrupts their radar. It is also meant to detect and track anomalies in space like a cloak Star Force warship that attack the Plants with paint bombs years ago. Zaft had to be creative to detect cloak ships moving towards the Plants since then.
Today however, it is being used against them.
"Now it's time to let the final curtain fall on Zaft" Ba'al stated ominously as he type some command and push ENTER. Seconds later, a massive download is sent and shared it to every Zaft warships and mobile suits in the field. What was shared, was a malware program that spreads to every system of every Zaft and mobile suits, causing them to shudder for a moment and then…it stops.
Ba'al then open a channel to all of Zaft forces "ATTENTION ZAFT! I AM BA'AL AND I WOULD LIKE TO INFORM YOU THAT, YOUR SERVICES TO THE PLANTS ARE NO LONGER REQUIRED" and with that, he type another set of commands and press the ENTER button on his laptop.
"YOU MAY DIE NOW" what follow next is a nightmare scene like it came out of a 'Terminator movie' their machines of war are turning on them.
On open channels, everyone can hear the cries for help from ships and mobile suits who have lost control of their machines and are attacking each other. Many are calling Zaft command for instructions, none were answered.
The Plants
Inside the Aprillius Plant colony, a few commanders who are loyal to the council, have realize just what happened outside the colony, sent conventional ground troops and Special Forces team to raid the Zaft CIC wearing gas mask and when they got in, they perforated the leaders of the coup to retake the CIC and quickly re-task what remains of their defenses and target the Goa'uld fleet.
They were also able to fire the Genesis Cannon but not at full power. And yet, it was able to destroy just half of the Goa'uld fleet and unfortunately, Ba'al personal ship was able to move away from the line of fire. The other half that survive retaliated by destroying the cannon, and are now heading for the colonies.
Without a command structure and a destroyed space fleet and mobile suit corps annihilating each other, the Plants now lay defenseless…but not completely, as somehow, the last remnants of Zaft were able to raise the colonies last defensive measure… a positron barrier.
The positron barrier kept the Goa'uld from boarding the colonies and somehow it kept them from Asgard beaming them for some reason, which was a surprise for Ba'al and yet, it matters little. And so, Ba'al resorted in bombarding the colonies to weaken the barrier enough to board the Plants. The barrier is resisting, but not for long
Eternal
Meanwhile, the Eternal, the Archangel and the Kusanagi have been watching images taken by spy satellites of the scene happening just outside the Plants. In shock and horror they watch Zaft kill each other while the Goa'uld is just doing nothing but watch the show. They suspected that Ba'al did something after they heard his declaration on the open channel.
Kira on the Freedom was also shock at what he's seeing as did Athrun on the Justice and they are both itching to launch and fire up the METEORs to head there to stop the Goa'uld from breaching the colonies. Then General Maynard open a line to the Eternal and Lacus is begging him to allow them to do something she and the other desperately need to do.
"The Zaft fleet is subdued, and by the looks of it, the Goa'uld fleet is trying to breach the Plants last remaining defenses" The general said
"General, I think Ba'al is trying to take the colonies intact" Colonel Waltfeld suspected
"You could be right about that Colonel Waltfeld," General agreed with him "Ba'al have lived on the Plants for many years and he knows that it's a major contributor of manufactured products. Its industrial base is still the largest in sol and even most of the galaxy for that matter"
Maynard realize that Ba'al knows the technological capabilities of the Plants better than anyone and taking control of it will more than recover his losses and maybe even expand his power.
"General, please allow us to defend the Plants" Lacus pleaded but Maynard shook his head
"That's a suicide mission if I let you Ms. Clyne and may I remind you,"
"I am aware of our agreement General, and I won't break it. It's just…I had to ask" she said sadly
"I am sorry Ms. Clyne but…standby," he break contact with the Eternal as someone got Maynard attention on an open screen showing the president
New Artemis
"Maynard"
"Mr. President"
"Everyone getting pounded down here, and this message from SG-1, think this will work?"
"We have no other options left for us Mr. President, but put our faith on SG-1"
"Problem with this is that enemy fleet above us. O'Neill won't get thru to Earth" he pointed out
"You got any ideas?"
"Sir spreading our forces around and engage them one at a time will do little, we need to draw them into one point and fight them, as well as ease pressure on Earth"
"How?" the president asks and Maynard was reluctant for a moment, took a deep breath and told him his one idea
"Sir, we are going to make Anubis very angry at us to draw them to us" he said
The Eternal
Two agonizing minutes pass by when Artemis called and Maynard gave an order they never thought would hear
"Move out!" he said forcefully "The Star Forces and all allied fleet will intercept and destroy the alien fleet and defend the Plants at all cost!"
"Sir?" Lacus was stunned to hear that order
"You heard me, now MOVE IT!
"Sir, yes sir!"
New Artemis
Maynard stop communication and then start barking out orders "get the whole fleet mobilize to defend the Plants at all cost, and have Terminal give them a tow and tell them to hang on, pronto!"
"General, we are sending most of our fleet to the Plants?" Major Davis exclaimed in disbelief
"It's a distraction Davis, we need to draw them out, away from Earth as long as possible" Maynard answered
"They want the Plants very badly so were going to deny them that by defending it. Meanwhile, were going to use all our firepower from Artemis, our lunar base and the defense grid, on the surface and our mobile suit defense corps… to target Anubis and make him mad at us real bad"
"Sir, if we draw them all here… we won't"
"I know Major Davis" Maynard understood what he's getting at
"The primary objective of this operation is to help O'Neill to slip thru unhindered. That's the real mission!" he said strongly as he showed Davis a tablet on the console showing a coded message SGC received from SG-1 who finally got their radio working, and telling SGC that they are less than 30 minutes from Earth and heading to the location of O'Neill number 10 favorite place, which in actuality is O'Neill not so favorite place.
"Antarctica, the message O'Neill sent to Ms. Clyne" he muttered
Flashback
"Well sir, he said that and I quote 'Next time, I'll let Daniel put his head in one of those brain sucking thingies and see how he like it' unquote and that 'he's going to asks for a pay raise from the MAN, a month long relaxing vacation at his number ten most favorite place and doing nothing but fishing, with no phones, computers or snakeheads bothering me, and maybe fly one of those nostalgia flights on one of those F-14 Tomcat doing a tail hook landing and watch my favorite football team throw a Hail Mary pass at the last second' sir"

Admittedly, Maynard was somewhat skeptical when Lacus told him that she receive a message in a form of telepathy of some kind. He knows how Jack O'Neill mind works and that message has all the earmarks of what he would say in a message along with a hidden message inside it.
'Next time, I'll let Daniel put his head in one of those brain sucking thingies and see how he like it'- he was talking about the information inside the ancient repository and it led them to where to find ancient weaponry to fight Anubis.
'He's going to asks for a pay raise from the MAN, a month long relaxing vacation at his number ten most favorite place doing nothing. Alone, with no phones, computers or snakeheads bothering me, and maybe fly one of those nostalgia flights on one of those F-14 Tomcat doing a tail hook landing just once, and then I go watch my favorite football team throw a Hail Mary pass at the last second'
Maynard knows that O'Neill 'number ten most favorite place' is actually, 'O'Neill's number 10 not so favorite place on the lists' and only he knows that its Antarctica O'Neill he's referring to. Not since that incident where he and Captain Carter was flung thru the second Stargate located on Antarctica.
O'Neill was heading straight towards that frozen continent and doesn't want anything blocking their path or bothering them when they are there, doing what must be done.
Last part about the Hail Mary pass is an obvious one, which made Maynard smiled inside 'leave it to SG-1 to bring the key victory at the eleventh hour' he thought 'still, they are going to need our help to get there'
"We need to give O'Neill all the time he needs to do what he must do. And that's to draw Anubis attention towards us and keep those snakeheads distracted as much as we can" he said as the fleet of warships prepares for a short hyperspace jump while towing Terminal and allies using a tractor beam.
Maynard open a line to the commander of Armstrong base and ordered him to fire a full barrage of Halberds at Anubis flagship. On the surface of the moon, only fifteen Halberd guns were in line of sight and fires a powerful heavy positron beam. Some of the beams however hit several Ha'tak Guard ship as they are in the beams path destroying them yet the beam continue but its potency is reduced before hitting their actual target.
Still it was enough to get Anubis attention.
"SO YOU DO HAVE THE POWER TO MATCH MINE" he said and a minute later, a second barrage coming from the moon, destroying10 more Ha'taks and one beam hit his flagship directly, weakening the shields and shuddering the ship enough to be of concern.
Meanwhile at L5, the Star Force fleet and their allies is in s melee battle with Ba'al forces and winning.
Even when Ba'al deployed his prize Gundam units to fight Tau'ri own Gundams, they still came out victorious thanks to ace pilots and season veterans who knows how to fight a mobile suit battle.
"VERY WELL THEN, HENRY HAYES" Anubis open a line to the bridge and a Jaffa appears on an open screen
"ORDER ALL SHIPS TO BREAK EARTH ORBIT AND ATTACK THE TAU'RI SPACE FORTRESS, LUNAR BASE AND ALL OF THEIR SPACE COLONIES. SURROUND THEM, LET NONE SURVIVE" he ordered and then ads
"AND HAVE MY SHIP MOVE OUT OF EARTH ORBIT AS WELL, MOVE US FROM THEIR FIRING RANGE, NOW!" Anubis ordered and the Jaffa bow in obedience and then closed the line.
The moment Star Force fleet arrive with their allies in tow via short hyperspace jump, they attack Ba'al fleet with a vengeance with mobile suits quickly being deployed with the Neo Strike Freedom and Neo Justice leading the charge like a bat out of hell.
Eternal
Lacus look out forward and see the Archangel ahead of the Eternal, and up ahead are the Neo Strike Freedom and the Neo Justice Gundam, followed by the others and they are cutting a path thru enemy mobile suits even against enemy Gundam units.
Days before the battle, SGC and Morgenroete engineers finish installing the new 360 degree cockpits, new OS and new power source, which is a Naquadriah reactor, the pilots took their suits for a spin. And in the three days of knowing their mobile suits, they discovered that they can move their mobile suits far better than their old ones, move them like their own body with the agility of an Olympic gymnast, sharp and accurate shots like a seasoned Sniper and the lethal skills of a swordsman.
They found piloting their new suits exhilarating, and one of the reason for this was due to the human-machine interface system. A technology that's been under research for many years since the late twentieth and early twenty first century but only now being made a reality thanks to new materials and technology, which gives any pilot operate any mobile suit and move it like a human body.
For Kira and Athrun has one word to describe their new suits performance, flawless, as they plow thru swarm upon swarms of enemy mobile suits and death gliders with their METEORs (Mobile suit Embedded Tactical EnfORcer) and also took down one Anubis modified Ha'tak mothership from the inside by phase shifting thru their defenses and destroy them from within.
Kira and Athrun suits were the only ones with METEORs and they use it to the fullest especially Kira, as he's is not holding back unlike before. And the reason for that was a while back, before they launch… he had a heart to heart talk with a former Earth Alliance mobile suit commander/ace pilot and now flies for Stargate Command and has been seconded to Terminal, with insistence from him.
Now many of the crew would take their issues with this pilot when they realize who he is, however, this is one former member of Blue Cosmos member they do not want to confront.
Flashback
"A word of advice Mr. Yamato" said the man on the GAT- X105E Super Strike Noir (heavily customized) facing the Neo Strike Freedom. The man identified himself only as 'Ron' who, right off the bat, showed his immediate dislike with Kira when Ron asks him on how he's going to deal with the enemy mobile suits and Kira answer to that is to do the usual. Pinpoint accuracy on disarming and disabling his opponent weapons and let them retreat… which set the guy off like a bomb.
The Super Strike Noir suddenly slam the Neo Strike Freedom to the back of the wall while it shove the nozzle of his modified M8F-SB1 "Shorty" beam rifle at the Strike Freedom cockpit.
"What are you doi-" Kira sentence never finished as he felt his suit got shove back forcefully
"Not all of us are happy to be here Mr. Yamato, and some of us are more than happy to see the Plants die to be honest. Yet this is the mission we have been given and orders are orders, which is why we are here instead of back there defending our own country" he said and ads the next with a deathly serious tone
"Understand that you are not in some third party group trying to stop war by fighting two sides to stop them from killing each other," Ron pointed out
"You are on our side now, fighting with us and we expect you to fight… to fight without holding back and not pulling punches. You fight to kill do you understand me?" he said still with a seriousness tone of voice
"Remember that those are my people out there, fighting to save those damn miserable patch workers asses because Zaft, amusingly and stupidly, shot each other to death and left them defenseless! So if you let any of those snakeheads live, just because you don't have the balls for killing…and if by any chance they came back and kill my people because of you didn't pull the trigger and end their miserable lives?! So help me God! I will find you, I will rip you out of that suit, drag your miserable ass out and into the light and put a bullet right between your eyes right after I blow your balls off with my 12 gauge shotgun!" he warned Kira loudly and then he yelled at him
"DO YOU UNDERSTAND ME COORDINATOR?! DO YOU UNDERSTAND ME, HIBIKI FOLLY?!"
Hibiki Folly, a title Kira earned after Zaft first encounter with the Atlantic Federation space fleet after so many years. Before the encounter Kira was regarded as the embodiment of what a coordinator should become which is why Zaft made him into a commander in Zaft when Lacus rose into power. People has too much expectation from him to perform above the average to any coordinator and superior to any Natural.
After that battle, Kira reputation took a big hit for being indecisive, inexperience lacking confidence in taking command and controlling his own troops which resulted in one big fiasco.
He took responsibility to what happen as he is the commanding officer.
It wasn't long for some people started muttering unflattering names behind his back, one of which is being called "Hibiki Folly" in reference to Dr. Ulen Hibiki, Kira biological father and head of the Ultimate Coordinator program.
Eventually, it became intolerable for Kira to work with Zaft so he call it quits. And he thought serving under the Earth Alliance was bad.
Kira clench his teeth of being called at that
"I-I understand" he replied
"Do you? Then swear it!"
"W-what?"
"I SAID SWEAR IT!"
"I-I do, I swear" Kira answered hurriedly
"Good" he holstered back his rifle and before his suit was move to be launch, he add one last thing
"Oh, and by the way" he quickly gave a powerful punch the Neo Strike Freedom chest with a clattering sound which rattled Kira inside
"The Hell?!"
"That's to make sure you remember it… I'll be watching you Coordinator" he warnedfinal
End Flashback
Lacus, and everyone else heard Ron threats towards Kira and got everyone on edge when they recognize him as a former member of Blue Cosmos, a Phantom Pain commander whose notoriety is infamous to Zaft especially among elites as he is known as infamous The Grimm Reaper.
A Blue Cosmos commander who is said to have a death wish when going after member of Zaft with notorious military record or stories about them torturing, raping and killing naturals.
He was one of the few that Zaft considered as a serious threat and rumor has it that Rau Le Crueset had a run in with the Reaper and barely got out alive if not most of him. And for some reason, he's a threat even to Muruta Azrael former head of Blue cosmos and Lord Djibril of Logos. From what information Terminal could gather, they are afraid of the man for some reason and have tried to have him killed multiple times but failed.
This former commander of Phantom Pain broke ranks at the end of the first war and during the Second Valentine War, he formed his own unit called Blue Earth Corps, who specialize in going after hard target, especially members of Zaft who committed criminal acts and collaborators who profited in working with Zaft.
During the post war. Blue Earth Corps became part of the Atlantic Federation anti-terrorist group that brought down numerous terrorist cell brutally and without mercy.
His skills as a mobile suit ace is said to be in par with Kira if not better and true enough, he has been shadowing Kira as they broke thru the line of defense in a direct path to Ba'al personal mothership. Now how his Noir was able to keep up with the speed of his METEOR he could only guess that his suit is built much like the Freedom.
Kira glace back at the Strike Noir and he couldn't help but be impressed at the man skills and also worried, especially when the Noir is swinging that customized double beam scythe around, for every time he swing it, mobile suits dies all around him.
'The guy has some serious skillset" Kira thought and notice that it took a glance towards his direction with its eyes flash red for a moment.
'Is he watching me?' he was startled at that cold glance as he to get back into the fight.
The Neo Strike Freedom continue on to fight thru a horde of mobile suits piloted by either a Jaffa or a Goa'uld Kull drone, never hesitating to destroy both… until Kira suddenly slip back to his 'disabling his enemy and letting them leave mode' when two dozen enemy mobile suits and death gliders tried to surround him and afterwards, allowed them to fall back to their mothership.
Big mistake
"You fucking ass-" was the voice of an angry man Kira heard on his comm when suddenly something hit his suit which is supposed to be impossible because he was in phase shift mode and yet in front of him is the Strike Noir grabbing hold of the Freedom
"What the?" right then a face came up at his screen and it was Ron, his face is distorted in anger
"Think you are so fucking hot, fucking special just because you can fucking do this and that the rest are beneath you?!"
"I'm not,"
"I told you to stop hesitating and kill those fucking bastards!" Ron yelled at Kira and he replied
"But this is how I fight, how I help, I just don't want to keep on killing people!"
"And do you think that those you spared will just go back home and sit this one out like some game? NO! Most of them are fucking Kull warriors who are pre-programmed killers and they will comeback with another suit or a death glider and every one you spared, ten of us are killed, worst yet, they have the resource on their side to come back and we don't!" Ron said back loudly
"It's a soldier's duty to kill the enemy, and you are not doing your job, soldier!" Ron exclaimed
"I'm am not a soldier!"
"Then what the hell are you here then? A fucking super hero in a comic book or a character in a fucking manga novel?" Ron question and cursing back
"I'm a…a…. I'm trying to help!" Kira answered almost like he was squealing
"How, by playing soldier? Well no one out here is playing soldier!" The Noir quickly grab the Freedom head and turn it towards the battlefield.
"Look at them Kira Yamato" Ron point at the battlefield, where soldier from Earth are fighting and fighting courageously he spoke in a calm voice "They don't want to fight but they are ready to fight, they don't want to kill and yet they are ready to kill… and ready to be killed. Those are real soldiers, and they are all here to finish the mission they have been given no matter what…
"They are here fighting and dying for your people"
"Those are the actions of a true professional soldier, a real soldier and not some mindless obedient drone that you people so fondly think of what soldiers are often are" the Noir let go of the Freedom head
"They are heroes and they don't deserve to be disrespected by the likes of you"
"I'm sorry"Kira said and all Ron could do was gave a sigh
"Kira Yamato…I have told you before, you are not in some third party group trying to stop a war between two sides, you are on one side that is overmatch and outnumbered" he said
"It's obvious that you don't have the balls for this kind of job, no matter what amazing skills you have under your belt. You are no use to us, so get out, get the fuck out of this field and let the real soldiers fight this war, otherwise, you are a liability to everyone here fighting to survive the day!" The Strike Noir push away from the Freedom and then turn its back
"You are right though, you are not a soldier so you don't belong in this battlefield, Hell! You don't have the right to be here… to be among real soldiers" Ron told Kira one last thing before he activated his ion thrusters and rocket back into the fight
"Go home, or go back playing a knight to your princess, go back being her boy toy… stupid emo boy"
The Noir left the Freedom, its pilot Kira is left stunned, as if someone punch him in the gut multiple times and then kick in the face multiple times. And as the Noir went further ahead, mobile suits and warships exploited the bulge in the line and pour thru into it to cut Ba'al fleet of Ha'taks in half and are now slowly moving away from the Plants
Athrun on the Neo Justice and the others approach the motionless Freedom, its pilot Kira Yamato is in a void filled with emotions rattling his insides like crazy and only Le Crueset have done that once and he's a sociopath.
"Kira, are you ok?" Athrun called with growing concern over his best friend, but no one answer until he hear something like a growling sound
Now few people who has a dislike over Kira have called him many things but he's been very tolerant with people that is… then something snap, which turn out to be Kira self-control of his anger
A seed exploded in Kira mind
"EMO BOY! YOU SON OF A," the METEORs engines roar back into life, drowning the cursing words of one Kira Yamato as he push his suit into full throttle, racing back into the battlefield, leaving the others behind in utter disbelief
"Kira wait!" Athrun quickly followed his best friend who is throwing cursing words and foul language like a damn sailor
"HEY RON, I'M TALKING TO YOU, SOCIOPATHIC SHIT HEAD!"
Ron open an aft screen while facing the incoming mass of horde of mobile suit and he see the approaching Neo Strike Freedom and Neo Justice coming at him like a bat out of hell, guns aimed at his direction but not aimed at him.
"Well, well" he muttered and smiled as beam weapons missiles and railgun rounds from the Freedom eviscerated the enemy mobile suits surrounding him. Then Ron turn his Noir to face the incoming Freedom and fired all its weapons but not at the Freedom but to incoming enemy mobile suits coming from behind the Freedom
"Who the hell are you calling an Emo boy, you sociopathic bastard!"
"I call them what I think of them, and emo boy is what I think of you!" Ron replied as he took aim of his beam rifle and shot two death gliders coming from behind the Freedom and he nearly hit the side of the Freedom head "And I told you to get the hell out of here, you are a civilian and not a soldier, worst you are a liability to everyone here!"
"I am not a liability and I am not leaving, and you can't make me!" Kira sounding determined as he aim his beam rifle and shoot down an incoming mobile suit behind the Noir
"I see you found your balls to do this job, fine then, you can stay but you are not going to do that 'disabling the enemy and letting them leave' shit, do you hear me? You shoot to kill and if by some miracle that we survive this, I don't want a civilian like you in any battlefield. There are only soldiers and warriors out here, do you understand?"
"Fine then, I'll leave as a civilian, but I will be back as an enlisted soldier, just to be in your damn battlefield"
Ron just snorted "Heh, if you survive the day Mr. Yamato, I'll recommend you to Stargate Command as your first tour of duty" it was right then that the MS Justice approach them and fired all its weapons on more incoming enemy mobile suits coming for the Freedom and the Noir
"Kira! Look out!" he called up and quickly all three moves in sync to destroy enemy forces that tried to surround them. To those watching, the way the three suits move was like a choreograph dance, a very lethal dance
Ba'al forces was pushed away, but not for long
"… Heads up everyone, look at your radar" Ron said
Their radar detect a large mass of Ha'tak motherships approaching the Plants pulling out from Earth orbit. They began to surround every space installation in the intent of overwhelming them with the full force of their numbers.
