Anubis Mothership 5 million miles behind the darkside of Earth's Moon
At that moment, Ba'al was onboard Anubis mothership while a Jaffa is reporting to his master, the total account of losses the armada has sustained during this campaign against the Tau'ri since their arrival almost 2 hours ago.
Over 2 hours and it's costing Anubis very badly
Anubis brought an armada of a thousand Ha'tak motherships, tens of thousands of Death Gliders, Al'Kesh bombers and mobile suits, all for the overkill of a single planet, believing that it will take mere minutes to finish, and yet it's been two hours and despite being bloodied beaten, the Tau'ri have not fallen.
"The total number of losses is about 70 Ha'taks but only 10 of that are from our own fleet and scores of mobile suits, death gliders and Al'kesh bombers and add to 120 damage Ha'taks mostly the unmodified ones that are severe or lightly damage" that report surprised Ba'al but it upsets Anubis.
"It's Impressive, that they were able to do this much damage to us than the whole civil war" Ba'al remark
Anubis is not amused in Ba'al praising the Tau'ri "You find this Impressive? they have weaponry capable of destroying a Ha'tak with a single shot. And you are impressed with that?!" Anubis spoke angrily into Ba'al face
"We have a thousand ships at our disposal, this should have been easy to brush away their defenders as planned"
"Easy? I live with these people for only a short time, and there is one thing I learn from them is that not everything will go as planned" Ba'al remark
"True, we eliminated a large contingent of their military called Zaft without losses on our side, and that the space colonies are ours for the taking. but I never really expected the Star Forces would raise a finger to help them, let alone to come to the aid of the Plants or their tenacity to fight against us" Ba'al said
"Well it seems they have," Anubis said, "Your report about them being divided into natural born and genetically enhanced humans. Their antagonistic ways, their hatred between them is… in error"
"When this is over I will expect replacements for the losses my armada sustained as well as," Anubis never finish his sentence when their screens show flashes of lights from multiple explosions at the location of the armada heading for the Plants.
"What is happening out there?" Anubis demanded and that moment, a second more powerful explosion occurred "I demand answers, NOW!"
a Jaffa manning a console. Hurriedly gave a report
"My Lord, we are detecting multiple explosions of a weapon, most of the energy signature are that of naquada bombs and the series of explosions have… naquadriah element!" he said and ads more to report but fearfully
"…80 Ha'taks are lost, and more than a hundred or more have lost their shields and have sustained heavy damage and others sustained only minor damage. The explosions also destroyed scores of mobile suits, Al'kesh and death gliders were lost from the subsequent shockwaves and what remains could barely give fighter cover my Lord!"
"They must have planted space mines at the expectant path of our fleet," Ba'al said 'very clever' he thought smiling inside 'the armada is bunch together too closely, it's a perfect chance to bring down as many them possible, in one strike'
Unlike Cosmic Era warships in general (with few exceptions) which you can easily bring down with one or two hits from an anti-ship beam gun or anti-ship missile. The warships of the greater part of the galaxy however, are much tougher and far more resilient and able to shrug off one to a dozen or more weapons fires from almost any Cosmic Era weaponry that's not in the megaton power level.
Now there are means that could bring down warship, Alien or otherwise. One of which very straight forward and for that, you needed a weapon enormous amount of firepower to break thru their defenses and pierce their armor to kill a warship and though technology change, that hasn't change since the age of sailing boats.
Now Naquada bombs used by the Goa'uld were rated to be equal to that of Tau'ri standard anti-ship missiles and it double as a space mine with proximity sensors to alert a target in range and independently move on their own to get closer to their unsuspecting target and detonate at close range for maximum damage.
More than one hundred naquada mines were laid at the path of the armada and with most of the Ha'taks were close enough to touch each other, one bomb could cause severe damage to two to three Ha'taks.
After the naquada bombs detonated and died down, a second row of explosion occurs just a few seconds later. These came from anti-ship missiles fired by hidden missile pods, programmed to target Ha'taks that have AAT shield modifications.
(A.A.T. Advanced Ancient Technology)
The anti-ship missiles are armed with naquadriah warhead, and its primary function is to destroy Ha'taks with AAT shield modifications. However, it needs more than one but a dozen missiles to bring down the AAT Ha'taks as SGC discovered but once their shield is breach, the Ha'taks are vulnerable.
The attack on Anubis Armada was timed right before they could react and because of this one, two punches, the lead ship that commands the fleet was destroyed along with eleven others from Anubis AAT fleet, leaving the armada without a commander and is now in disarray.
Anubis watch his fleet starts to move apart and some starts pulling back instead of moving forward
"Why are they pulling back!?" Anubis asks angrily and Ba'al would have answered but Anubis quickly turns to one the Jaffa behind a console
"Order them to stop, then assign a new lead ship to regroup and continue their attack!"
"Y-Yes my Lord" the Jaffa answered fearfully as he tries to open a communication to relay the order to the fleet, however his expression is a panicking look
"What are you doing?!"
"My Lord, I cannot get thru to the armada" he replied "there is some form of quantum jamming being amplified by the heavy levels of charge naquada/naquadriah radiation particles that have saturated the space around them. It is causing interference to our communication system. The particles are dispersing, but we won't have any contact with them for a few minutes"
It was then that, another set of detonations erupted within their ranks only it wasn't the result of more space mines but standard Cosmic Era anti-ship missiles fired from ships from Terminal, Orb and one Zaft vessel that appeared out of hyperspace towed by Tel'tak cargo ships and are attacking the weakened Ha'taks in the armada.
On the screens, long range visuals reveal human warships that came out of hyperspace. Ba'al recognize some of the human warships in that group and was wide eyes at what he sees.
A Girty Lue-class, an Archangel-class, a Minerva-class, a Kusanagi-class from Orb and that's Lacus Clyne Eternal and they are raising hell in the ranks of Ha'tak ships the moment they came out of hyperspace and deploying their mobile suit squadron to expand their surprise attack.
Ba'al couldn't help but be impressed at the sheer brilliance of the tactics the Tau'ri employed against them a move reminiscent of a gentleman game
'Someone over there knows how to play a game of chess' Ba'al thought 'and this is two moves ahead yet short of a checkmate. Yet still, a masterful maneuver… well played whoever you are that thought of this'
Strike Noir
"Achoo!" Ron sneezed
"Someone talking about me" he remarks but wave it off "Bah! Who cares!" and he kept on laughing at the chaos they are inflicting against Anubis Armada
A while back
Before the operation to draw Anubis away from Earth began, Ron had an inspiring idea, one of which involves grabbing as many Goa'uld naquada bombs they have seized from the System Lords as well as a dozen missile pods loaded with the new naquadriah warheads still in storage in Artemis.
Ron believe, that if the plan to draw Anubis Armada away from the Earth by using the Plants as bait works, then there is a small chance that they can kill as many Ha'taks that will be in close proximity with each other by turning the space between the Earth and the Plants into a mine field.
Goa'uld space mines to be precise, laid within the expected path the armada will take and that path is littered with numerous floating debris and radioactive materials from leaking reactor cores of dead ships, which the Ha'tak sensors will detect and sees it not a threat. The area is a perfect place to hide the space mines presence, and when Anubis Armada is in range, the space mines will activate by proximity and automatically move out of its hiding place, approach the closes Ha'taks and detonate all together, creating a massive nuclear firestorm like that is found inside a star.
This would be followed up by naquadriah armed missiles launched from hidden missile pods, and they are programmed to target AAT modified Ha'taks from Anubis original fleet. The elimination of AAT modified Ha'taks is a priority as it gives the Earth's forces a fighting chance and if Ron is right, they are also assigned as command ships for the armada.
As the nuclear firestorms subsided, of the 500 Ha'taks heading for the Plants, 80 were downright destroyed and hundreds badly damage and left in disarray…disorganized. Ron smiled at the sight for it was now time for the next act of the operation to begin. So, he opens a line to the other ships to give the signal
"All ships! Time to go for broke!"
With that broadcast, the Shinigami de-cloaked above the Noir and open a hatch for the MS to enter as the Shinigami made a hyperspace jump into the center of Anubis Armada, as well as the Archangel, the Minerva, the Orb ship Kusanagi and the Eternal and eight other ships from Terminal and Orb are being towed by a Tel'tak into Hyperspace.
Present time
Ron was laughing like a mad man as he broke thru the weakened shields of a Ha'tak and with just his super hyper impulse cannon, he aimed into the bridge while yelling "not so tough without a shield huh, time to BURN YOU BASTARD!" he squeezes the trigger and blasted a hole thru the bridge of the Ha'tak and killing the offending vessel permanently.
Ron went on looking for more targets when suddenly, he notice incoming from the Debris Field and heading to his location.
From the Debris Field came out hundreds of assortments of old ships, mobile suits and mobile armors from people living in the Debris Belt, ranging from hermits, former soldiers, mercenary groups and Junkers. And leading this ragtag bunch are members of the Junk Guild, an NGO or Non-Government Organization group devoted to the upkeep, maintenance, and salvage of the technology forming the infrastructure of Cosmic Era society. Today they came out to fight with every resource they have available, some of which are Mobile Suits that look like they were put together by children, with miss match body parts and mix weaponry from the former Earth Alliance, Orb or Zaft military.
He opens a line to everyone but not sure if they can hear him thru the static interference
"Welcome to the party pal!" he yelled and the Strike Noir flew towards another Ha'tak, slashing and shooting thru enemy suits and gliders that survive the firestorm and he continues a bee line to his designated target.
Meanwhile the Akatsuki and a contingent of Orb mobile suits are bringing down a Ha'tak with no shield protecting it, and using their standard anti-ship weapons in a concentrated strike on the Ha'tak weak points.
The Strike Freedom and the Justice went deeper into the armada with their METEOR, releasing a load of naquada tip missiles into a group of Ha'tak and when their shields have been weakened, they follow it up with a volley of beam weapons and railguns. This also draw the other Ha'taks attention and their weapons fire, distracting them enough for the Terminal and their allies to strike on Ha'tak with weakened shields with reckless abandon.
"STAND YOUR GROUND, THROW EVERYTHING YOU HAVE INTO THIS FIGHT, NEVER BACK DOWN!" Ron voice piercing thru the static interference for everyone to hear "PUT YOUR HEART, YOUR SOUL IN THIS MOMENT, FOR ALL THE SONS AND DAUGHTERS OF MAN TO LIVE ONE MORE DAY!"
When Ron was making that speech, he was inside a Ha'tak causing havok, and when he departed of said Ha'tak, he left a parting gift. A bomb.
Seeing Ha'tak go down put everyone into a frenzy, and in the battle unfolding, a song is coming thru their radio from Ron mobile suit. Pushing thru the static, demanding to be heard as it blared into the airwaves.
It was fitting song for that moment
Two Steps From Hell: Never Back Down
Standing still as they charge
We will hold our ground
Not back down
We will raise our swords
From the ground
And we will fight the war to end
All the suffering, never fearing
Heroes, foes, or the daring
And their cause to the gods we pray
Never waive, time has come for us
To take charge and fight the power
Standing still as they charge
We will hold our ground
Not back down
We will raise our swords
From the ground
And we will fight the war to end
All the suffering, never fearing
Heroes, foes, or the daring
And their cause to the gods we pray
Never waive, time has come for us
Disobey and fight the power
Anubis Mothership
Fifteen minutes…fifteen agonizing minutes of Anubis feeling useless as he is unable to contact his armada and direct them after losing their lead ship. They are in disarray, as one or two or more Ha'tak commanders are declaring themselves as leader in the name of Anubis and demands fealty from the others to follow them. And there is even an incident of one or two of them shooting each other for that privilege.
Simply put, it was chaos, and this benefitted Terminal greatly as they exploited every moment and every minute, and then it made worst when two dozen Ha'taks suddenly turn tail and run to hyperspace… and that piss off Anubis more than anything
"Those cowards!" Anubis yelled as a Jaffa manning a console began to report some good news
"My Lord, we have communication back on"
"Then tell the others to stop their retreat and fight back, assign a new leader, and if they retreat again, they die!" He ordered and ads another one "detonate the bombs to the ones who fled the field"
"Y-Yes my Lord" the Jaffa answered as he opens a line to the Armada and assign one of the Ha'taks to be the new lead ship while another Jaffa sent a signal to the two dozen that retreated and it detonated a bomb hidden inside the Ha'tak. Anubis precautionary measure, should his new servants turn against him, or if they fled the battlefield.
"It is done My Lord Anubis" the other Jaffa reported
Anubis darkly whispered but loud enough for others to hear and it gave a chill thru their spine
"Remind the others… there shall be a requiem for those who fled… I will not tolerate any more cowardice"
With a new lead ship now assigned, the armada starts to get organize and began to strike back and as the battle across Earth's orbit rages on, Anubis is finding this situation hard to believe. Of how the Tau'ri was standing against the might of a thousand Ha'taks, numerous Al'Kesh, Death Gliders and Mobile Suit. Such numerical and technological superiority of the Goa'uld shouldn't have this much trouble routing one planet and yet there it is in front of him.
A world standing against the might of the Goa'uld.
By the time a new lead ship was assigned and the armada reorganized to counterattack, their losses have been the most numerous but not enough to stop them to fulfill the order of their god Anubis
"The Tau'ri are falling back!" a Jaffa announce with cheers and a sense of relief from the others Jaffa watching except for Anubis.
Anubis expression (if you can see what he looks like) however was not of delight but of great concern, for nothing was going as he planned.
This was supposed to be his greatest moment, a declaration, a demonstration of Goa'uld power, a means to cement his dominion over the galaxy for all time, and cowed those who wish to oppose his godly rule including the Asgard.
So, what better way to show his power to the galaxy, than to destroy the homeworld of the Tau'ri?
Tau'ri, the people of the first world. They have been a thorn to the Goa'uld ever since they first appeared ten years ago when they killed Ra the Egyptian Sun God, though at that time, the System Lords did not know that Ra was dead and that the Tau'ri were responsible.
It was only years later when the truth of Ra death was known, but by then, the Tau'ri have forged alliances with the Asgard, the Tollan, they are assisting the hated Tok'ra in their covert war, creating rift between the Goa'uld and their Jaffa warriors and human slaves causing many of the Goa'uld and few System Lords to fall because of their machinations.
The Goa'uld Jaffa armies and the Tau'ri units have clash many times and many times they have been bloody before the Tau'ri decided to retreat. The Systems Lords, they see these group as weak against their Jaffa army if they weren't shielded by the Asgard and it is the only saving grace for the Tau'ri thanks to the establishment of the protected planets treaty.
The System Lords fears the Asgard and no one dared cross the Asgard, until now.
Anubis is confident that he now possesses the technology equal if not superior to the Asgard and so, he dared to violate the treaty. Now that he is here with an armada of a thousand warships to do his bidding, his confidence grew…until the Tau'ri starts fighting back like madmen.
Some of the Jaffa have fought the Tau'ri in small groups and some admits they are fierce warriors. But what they are seeing now is what the Tau'ri is truly like when they wage an open war against them.
Anubis notices an underlining fear among his Jaffa which they shouldn't be showing fear. for the Jaffa are genetically engineered by the Goa'uld like the Coordinators, except that they have an abdominal pouch which serves to incubate larval Goa'uld. The infant Goa'uld provides strength, longevity, and good health, at the cost of supplanting the Jaffa's natural immune system, making them dependent on the Goa'uld for more symbiotes.
The Jaffa have a warrior culture and form the armies of the Goa'uld Empire, indoctrinated to be faithful to their Goa'uld masters and fanatical in their devotion, the result of being taught from birth that dying in the service of their Goa'uld master's will result in great rewards in the afterlife.
And it is the Jaffa that enforce the will of the Goa'uld to the human slaves of the Goa'uld Empire.
They have few adversaries that could match them, except for other Jaffas, that is…until they meet the Tau'ri. A learned and violent race of people who perfected the art of war, the art of killing that spans to most of the 5,000 years of human history. For the Jaffa, humans especially human slaves as are no more courageous or brave than sheep's.
When they encountered the Tau'ri for the first time (mostly the soldiers) they have a low opinion of them and sees them as nothing more than nuisance. But as encounter with the Tau'ri became ever frequent showing skills, tactics and combat prowess both equal and sometimes superior.
The Jaffa started to get weary.
The Tau'ri weaponry such as the standard FN P90 sub machine gun, is technologically primitive compared to the Jaffa staff weapon and yet superior because of one thing.
Colonel Jack O'Neill, explained it once upon a time to Jaffa rebels "The FN P90 is a weapon of war it's made to kill your enemy. While the Staff weapon is a weapon of terror, designed to intimidate your enemy" that took a while to sink in, along with thousands of Jaffa who died at the muzzle of the FN P90.
For the Goa'uld especially the leadership known as the System Lords, they did nothing but berate the Jaffa for being weak against an inferior foe, for they are more concern about their rival System Lords than the Tau'ri, which is why the Tau'ri grew stronger and their influence spreads further each year.
Ba'al warned Anubis about the Tau'ri and that they should not be taken lightly and seeing how they fight he now understands why.
And speaking of Ba'al
"Ba'al I want you to," Anubis turns around to find his second in command missing
"Where is Ba'al?" a Jaffa answered him
"My Lord Anubis, Lord Ba'al left onboard his Al'kesh and heading for his mothership" he reports and ads "Lord Anubis plans head to the Armada to personally take command the fleet heading for the space colonies" A screen shows an Al'kesh bomber leaving and on a course towards another Ha'tak nearby
"He left without my permission or my approval for him to take command?" he said,
"get him online, recall him back. I need him here!" Anubis said angrily and the Jaffa obeyed
It was then at that moment, that another Jaffa manning another console screamed to report of an event happening
"My Lord, something is happening to the armada!"
A short while back
Now while Anubis was busy sending out orders to his armada and brooding about the stubborn Tau'ri for not dying easily, he didn't notice that Ba'al just excuse himself and made his way to his awaiting Al'kesh at the hanger bay.
For some reason Ba'al felt the sinking feeling of something far worst is about to happen and does not want to be around Anubis when it does happen. Anubis will no doubt that he will notice his absence. So as a cover, he left word to a Jaffa of what he's planning. No doubt Anubis will recall him back, and he will make some excuse as to why he left without his permission and make sure that he's far from Anubis as much as possible.
A full minute has passed after Ba'al left Anubis flagship and nothing was happening. Another minute more and his communication system is being overloaded distress call from the fleet. It was at that moment, that those instincts he had about leaving were made right.
Two series of events were happening and went completely unnoticed by Anubis until it was too late.
Event One
30 Ha'tak motherships that was above Antarctica after receiving a call for reinforcements from another Ha'tak fighting a Prometheus class ship shielding a Tel'tak cargo ship hovering over a glacier. The 30 Ha'tak sent out their forces to assist their brethren down the continent.
It was at that moment, that from the ice burst out thousands of brightly glowing objects forming a line that is rising from the icy continent, destroying gliders, Al'kesh and mobile suits and then move up and destroyed the incoming reinforcements and the Ha'taks in orbit.
Those same objects went into multiple hyperspace openings and reappeared across the Lagrange points and lunar orbit attacking Anubis Armada wherever they are in Sol. It was only now that someone notice this. The ones in Anubis mothership, the ones doing monitor duty and coordinate the actions of the fleet were too focus on the action happening at the Plants due to Anubis demands of putting all attention to one place.
It was a big mistake
Strike Noir at that moment
It can't be argued, that the Strike Noir of the Grimm Reaper, have fought the hardest in this final battle.
"Ah, Shit!" Ron muttered in exhaustion as the Strike Noir was in tatters and what remains of his mobile suit is a right arm holding a beam pistol, its left leg has lost its foot and his right leg is barely attached and only the maneuvering thruster that move him to settle down the forward hull of the Eternal.
Terminal flagship the Eternal has lost its left wing and thrusters were gone along with most of its munitions. What kept it floating was its shield generators and CIWS but just barely.
Ron notice the Strike Freedom without its METEOR unit…and its head. This happen after Kira had to eject the METEOR when its phase-shifting technology malfunction and by sheer chance, a staff blast round hit, damaging the METEOR power supply.
With the METEOR unit about to explode, Kira quickly program it to crash at nearest Ha'tak, destroying it. Unfortunately, a fragment of that destroyed Ha'tak, crash into the Strike Freedom and is now fighting without a head.
Ron glared at Athrun Zala mobile suit the Justice which is still fighting without its METEOR as well as portion of its left foot.
"So, Patrick Zala Hellspawn of a child is still alive eh" he remarks with a stone-cold look which for some reason, Athrun felt a chill running down thru his spine everytime he sees the Strike Noir looks towards his direction. He feels the pilot is glaring at him some reason.
'What the hell is this guy problem?' Athrun thought as he moves towards an incoming group of enemy mobile suits
Mwu La Flaga Akatsuki is holding up as well but not without damage. Surprisingly, the Akatsuki which originally from Orb Union is quite durable even with the minimum modification the engineers made. A testament to Orb excellent engineering.
Ron look around and see the others in a defensive circle around the Eternal after they exhausted their munitions and energy to bring down as many Ha'taks they could. Some even tried to retreat to the Debris Belt to hide but they were cut down by the faster Ha'taks and enemy mobile suits, while the others are now huddled together after being surrounded and is now bracing for one final attack.
"Yo! Lacus babe!" Ron surprisingly called out to her and so informally and so rudely
"You did good out here babe… proud of you" Ron remark with a serene smile
"Uhnm, thanks… Mr. Reaper"
"Call me Ron, Ron Sterling, babe" he told her, just as the Eternal now lost its shield and was now vulnerable
"Well…this has been a very fun day for me" Ron said as the Noir raise its pistol one last time and aim at an incoming Kull piloted mobile suit heading its way
"We should do this again some other time" he was about to squeeze the trigger
…then it happens
From hyperspace openings came out thousands of lights and started circling the beleaguered forces of Terminal, creating a shield around them and then attack Anubis armada as it moves like a hurricane, going thru the Ha'taks shields and armor hull like they weren't even there and then coming out at the other side of the ship and went to another Ha'tak repeating the same move to every one of them.
One of those glowing objects hovered in front of the Noir, moving up and down, and Ron just wave his pistol non-threatening and the glowing object just left as if to confirm something before it joined with the others.
Ron heave a sigh of relief and remark "Darn it O'Neill, must you always arrive up to the last second" he said as Ron lowered lowers the Strike Noir pistol, slumps down on his seat and smiled as he enjoys the fireworks display of what once, the Anubis Armada.
"The SG-1 specialty, good job Colonel, damn good job! WOOHOOO!"
Anubis Mothership
"No!" Anubis look in horror for he knows what they are "Ancient Drone weapons"
Drone weapons, known more colloquially as drones, are projectile weapons that serve as the primary weapon system of the Ancients. Drones are capable of penetrating the shields of Goa'uld Ha'tak class Motherships and that also includes the Ancient upgraded shields of Anubis' capital ship.
A single drone can destroy most fighters and mobile suits and can cause severe damage to spaceships, shielded, armored or otherwise. Now if you have hundreds or thousands more, you can obliterate dozens of vessels with little effort.
What surprise Anubis is that, these drones can travel thru hyperspace and from what he knows, drones are not capable of doing that, yet clearly, they can. Meaning that their range are no longer limited but possibly… unlimited.
His Armada is dying everywhere across Sol and he's next
"Get-Get us out of here! NOW!" Anubis ordered in frantic and as his mothership maneuvers for a hyperspace jump and leave the system… when all the sudden, a massive beam weapon burst thru the floor and vaporize his face.
Event two
Ba'al Al'kesh
Ba'al was stunned of what just happen when he looks back to see Anubis flagship suddenly got speared thru by a massive beam from underneath the mothership.
"Where the hell did that come … from" Ba'al followed the fading beam path back to its origin…at the dark side of the moon… at the location of a weapon system built by the former Earth Alliance years ago but was destroyed at the end of the second Valentine War.
The Earth Alliance Orbital All-Aspect Strategic Cannon, commonly referred to as, Requiem.
"Requiem. They rebuilt it" Ba'al whispers
-o-
Requiem base was silent as ordered by SF command, for it has no role in the battle over Earth, due to its construction is incomplete and lacking satellite reflectors for the beam to be re-directed.
The SF personnel who remain on the base were skeleton crew and as they watch battle over Earth and they could only grit their teeth in frustration of contributing nothing to stop the alien invaders from attacking Earth.
That is, until a huge warship identified as Anubis flagship… is slowly moving closer and closer to Requiem line of sight. The commander saw it as an opportunity to be useful and that's by killing the head of the snake of the invading armada.
So, in defiance of their orders to remain silent, Requiem base went active. The naquada reactors and weapon systems started a quick power up to get one shot as fast as they could before they are detected or their target moves away. And though they only got two third charge, they fire the Requiem beam.
It hit its mark at range of 5 million miles away.
-o-
Ba'al started to laugh at the humor of it all because, of all the places Anubis choose to park his mothership for his safety sake, he had to choose the one place in all of Sol where you shouldn't park your spaceship… and that's at the path of a huge immovable beam cannon that's pointed straight up from the darkside of the Moon.
Ba'al laughs at the absurdity of it all but he stops and went back to saving his own miserable ass, as fast-glowing objects just existed out of hyperspace and attacking what remains of Anubis Armada.
Ba'al don't know what they are and don't want to know, as he and a lucky few escape the Sol system via hyperspace. Unfortunately, the few became the fewer, as some of the drones followed them in and destroyed them. Those few survivors including Ba'al will spread the word to the other System Lords, of Anubis defeat and his death at the hands of the Tau'ri.
Antarctica Ancient Outpost
Sitting at a reclining chair is Colonel Jack O'Neill leader of SG-1and he's looking up on a holographic display that shows a representation of the Sol System and it is here that he controls the drones to defeat Anubis Armada not just on Earth orbit, but anywhere in Sol since it's capable of hyperspace travel up to a range of 100 light-years in every direction.
There are a handful that escape the drones for reason that, his hold over the incredible defense system is slipping. Now with the solar system cleared of any Goa'uld presence, O'Neill placed a command to begin the final task before O'Neill black out and be placed in an awaiting stasis pod thanks to the help Daniel and Teal'c.
He spoke an ancient command code, which Dr. Daniel Jackson roughly translates
"Initiate Avalon ascent, initiate Ringworld… surface"
