shephawk; Yeah, this is the aftermath of what happened, and also the beginning of a new journey for a few characters. Mirajane could do yeah. Yeah, that would be nice. Ultear would have a number of thoughts about them for sure. Genki would do yeah. He could propose then, it would be rather sweet.

Silver crow; Thanks! Yeah, Lisanna wasn't sent to Edolas, they got there just in time. I thought it would with a title of King of Monsters. Loke and Aries did yeah. The Strauss siblings did their best for sure. Juvia and Angel will meet again at some point, and have talks. Yeah, Genki did his best with the others to help the Strauss siblings in their time of need. Elfman tried his hardest for those that he loves. They went through a lot during that mission, and we shall see how it goes now. Can't say about True Longinus yet, it would be a surprise. Yeah, sucks we don't know the full extent of their powers. All I can say about Issei Replacement is that he would have awakened the Boosted Gear by the time we first see him. Keita is different to Kai, he wouldn't want to end up like him after going through everything Kai would have done to him. Aizen and his brother would have a dynamic with one another that would be rather fun to explore. He would be a Captain eventually. Yeah, seems we are finding out a good deal about the Old Captains, hope we find out more about their powers. Juvia could do yeah. Sad for Irene. Thanks for the harem suggestions. That would be funny. Genki could enjoy the performance of Gajeel.

He would have his own situations different to Issei to go through and putting fun spins on some that he does go through with canon situations. Chapter 16
It took sometime, but eventually Genki, Lisanna, Elfman, Mirajane, Juvia, Wendy and Carla all arrived back in Magnolia. Mirajane hadn't said anything about it since they left, Elfman kept his head down while Lisanna wasn't able to voice her thoughts either, due to the shock.
Because of the heavy emotions, the Strauss siblings returned back to their home and wanted a little time alone to relax, so Genki began walking with Juvia around Magnolia. Wendy and Carla also went home, since it was beginning to turn night and wished to get some rest.
"So this is Magnolia Juvia-san, what do you think?"
Juvia looks around after Genki showed her a good portion of the town, and becomes astonished.
"This is a pretty big place Genki-sama. Juvia likes it."
"I'm glad." Genki began, seeing Juvia marveling at everything around them. "So, what do you want to do now Juvia-san? I have a spare room at my apartment if you want to-"
"Sleeping in the same apartment as you Genki-sama!?" Juvia began flustered, her hands pressing themselves against her cheeks in bewilderment. "Juvia is actually going to be doing that Genki-sama?!"
Seeing her enthusiastic ways, Genki found her endearing.
"Of course you can stay at my apartment~"
Genki said it kindly, and soothingly at the same time, with Juvia nearly falling down to the ground with her eyes shining like stars.
"Then Juvia already is happy Genki-sama! Though Juvia does have a few questions Genki-sama."
"Yeah, sure. What is it?"
"First...does Fairy Tail have many females?"
Genki was astonished by the question.
"Females...well, yeah I guess there's a fair few. Want me to introduce you to them?"
Juvia clenches her hands, and thinks "Potential rivals." while keeping a straight face.
"Yes, that would be good Genki-sama. Juvia wishes to make good friends."
"Yeah, the girls in Fairy Tail are all very nice and interesting. You should meet up with Erza-san, she's an S Class Mage, and very strong willed. Though don't get on her bad side."
"I-Is she dangerous Genki-sama?"
"Only to those who she believes are her enemies."
"And Juvia isn't an enemy?"
"Haha, no of course not. I'm sure you'd get along great Juvia-san."
Genki assured her, with Juvia exhaling slowly, and happily.
"Genki-sama, Juvia hasn't thanked you yet for taking her with you. So...thank you Genki-sama. Juvia might be a bit troublesome at times, but Juvia will do her best."
Genki waved his hand towards her.
"Really, you don't have to worry about such things Juvia-san. Everyone at Fairy Tail has reasons for being there, I think you're going to fit in very well around them. Though be warned it can be a bit rowdy at times."
"Rowdy…?"
Juvia wondered, her imagination going wild as she began thinking of girls being rowdy with Genki. She imagined Wendy clinging to Genki, Mirajane hugging him into her chest, and Virgo feeding him as she cuddled him.
"Yeah, it can be a bit wild at times."
"Wild?! The girls wild with you Genki-sama!?"
"Eh?"
Genki wondered as Juvia felt her face reddening.
"Do not worry Genki-sama, Juvia shall protect you from the wild ways of the girls!"
Genki gave her a curious look, and nods in thanks regardless.
"Anyway, lets explore a bit of Magnolia. Or do you wish to see Fairy Tail first?"
"Seeing the place Genki-sama has given his love to might be the best place to start. Juvia wishes to understand more about Fairy Tail."
"Great, then off to Fairy Tail we go!"
Genki proceeded to take Juvia to Fairy Tail, and when he did, he saw her being rather fascinated with those around.
Since it was closing in on the night time, not as many people were around, people like Natsu and Gray had already gone for the day, though she did manage to meet Cana, and the meeting...was rather intriguing.
"Aah, Genki-kun! You're back, been a while~"
"Yeah, we had some unforeseen stuff going on." Replying, Genki saw Juvia staring towards Cana in wonder. "Ooh right. This is Juvia Lockser, Juvia-san this is Cana Alberona."
"Ooh, a new girl huh~ So, it seems that my prediction is coming true~"
Genki gave a slightly embarrassed face, Juvia looked confused.
"What do you mean?"
"Ooh, I did a prediction a few years ago that Genki-kun here would attract many girls."
Juvia's face turned white, and she shook side to side.
"M-More love rivals?!"
"Love rivals...so, I was right..."
Juvia whipped her head around to Genki, who gave her a curious look.
"Genki-sama, is it true!?"
"Well, that's what Cana-san predicted."
Juvia bows her head for a few brief moments, and thinks about it.
Then she comes to a conclusion.
"Juvia understands! So, even if there are love rivals, then Juvia can also compete and become even more serious!"
"Eeh, sure. Go with that."
Cana laughed out, Juvia raised her determination to the sky with her magic flowing around her. Beautiful waves of water surrounded her, and Genki. It almost looked like a heart shape from what Genki could tell.
"Genki-sama, Juvia is beginning to understand! When can Juvia see our home?"
Cana mouthed "Our home?" to Genki, who gave a look back that basically said "Don't ask." so she decided not to pursue that any further for the time being, becoming rather intrigued with how Juvia was, but she could tell Juvia meant no true harm, and had no wicked or cruel intentions. Cana, actually found her to be a good deal funny.
When Genki returned back to his apartment for the evening, and Juvia had gone off towards her room for the time being, sensing the atmosphere, Genki saw Mirajane sat on his couch, not really doing anything other than looking out to the nights sky.
Genki approached her, and saw her forlorn expression. Many thoughts played on her mind.
So he sat down beside her, where she instantly took his hand.
"Genki...I have been thinking about something..."
"What is it?"
She turned towards him, and she showed a sad expression.
"I took the mission with my siblings, and it ended up where I nearly lost both of them. I was the S Class Mage, and I...couldn't do it. I couldn't protect either of them, Genki."
"That isn't how they told me the story of that night, Mira-san."
Mirajane raised a brow.
"What do you mean?"
Genki paused for a moment, allowing his hand to entwine with her own. Mirajane looked down at their connected hands, appreciating his kindness, his gentle touch that sent soothing waves through her.
"They both told me that you did everything you could to fight as hard as you could. You put your life on the line for them. You did everything you possibly could to fight, and protect them. Yes...it didn't go as well as you hoped, but your actions that day, cannot be called into question at all. In fact, you bought your siblings enough time for us to arrive, otherwise...something could have happened. But your quick whit, and abilities allowed you to stay one step ahead of the monster for the longest time possible. You have nothing to blame yourself for Mira-san."
Mirajane gave a fond smile, but also she felt her body shaking ever so slightly.
She loved how he spoke, but the thoughts kept playing on loop within her mind.
She didn't know how to feel about this, she didn't know what way she should turn.
But there was one thing that she did know deep within herself, that she expressed towards him.
"Genki...I need a break."
Hearing that, he completely understood immediately.
"Then have one Mira-san, for as long as you need."
"You...think its okay?"
"If you need to have a break, then you take one. This situation was difficult... You take all the time you need Mira-san, to get your head around it. And if you need anything, I am here for you."
Mirajane broke down into happy tears, hugging him around his neck tightly.
The love and support he exuded, and the kindness that he had for her, everything he was doing for her, made her feel like some weight had been lifted from her shoulders, and that it would give her time in being able to think and plan on what to do now.
"Genki...do you mind if I stay with you tonight? I don't...want to be alone right now. To be honest...I just want to get into bed with you...and be in your arms, tonight."
Hearing that, he couldn't deny her, and swiftly brushed her face gently with his fingers.
"Of course. Lets go to bed."
Genki gently embraced her, and then lifted her up. Carrying her off to the bed, he laid her gently on it, and after getting ready for bed himself, got in beside her, where she curled up towards him and held onto him.
He wrapped an arm around her, and his fingers soothingly ran through her white hair, gently whispering "Its okay." as he could feel her shaking, which in turn did calm her heart, and allowed her to begin drifting off to sleep in his protective embrace.
The next morning, Mirajane slowly drifted her eyes open, and looked at Genki beside her. Her head laid on his chest, she noticed that he was sleeping soundly, she didn't want to wake him up right now, so she silently laid there, enjoying herself a good deal.
She also noticed Genki had his arm around her, in his sleep, something she adored, and snuggled against him.
"Genki...thank you for being with me. You are always looking out for me, supporting me. You're always...there for me. Thank you...I really do wish that we could be like this always. Being in your arms, I feel so happy, so warm and safe. When I was in need...you came to me...and even now, still supporting me..."
Mirajane thought to herself, as she allowed her fingers to run across his unclothed chest, taking in the sights before her.
When she eventually had to get up, due to feeling hungry, she did so very silently, and went into the kitchen.
She noticed Juvia stood in the kitchen, casually cooking some food.
"Good morning Juvia."
Mirajane said kindly, Juvia was caught off guard due to being focused upon what was before her.
She turned back towards Mirajane, and let out a surprised gasp.
"Mirajane-san, Juvia wasn't aware you were up. Sorry, did Juvia wake you?"
"Sorry, I didn't mean to scare you and no, you didn't wake me. So, what are you cooking? It smells good."
"Eggs...ooh yes. Since you're here, how does Genki-sama like his eggs? Since he took in Juvia, Juvia wishes to do her part as well."
Mirajane found that to be a sweet thing from Juvia.
"Well, Genki tends to have his eggs scrambled sometimes, I think he likes it like that the most."
"Scrambled...Juvia sees. Then Juvia shall do the eggs scrambled! Also, is Genki-sama still asleep?"
"I am sure he'll be getting up soon."
Juvia nods her head.
She then looks towards Mirajane and notices her sad eyes, so Juvia speaks up.
"Juvia saw what happened. Though, Juvia doesn't know you enough to comment on it fully...Juvia doesn't like seeing people being sad."
Mirajane was surprised to hear Juvia say that, but her kind words caused Mirajane to feel deep within her a warmth.
"I don't either."
"Yes...though, whenever Juvia was sad, the sky used to bring dark clouds, and it would rain. But since I have been with Genki-sama, it hasn't rained around Juvia a single time."
"He helped you, huh."
Mirajane said proudly, with Juvia nodding strongly.
"Yes, he helped Juvia see...that Juvia can attain friends, and that the rain...might not be so bad after all. People always said the rain was gloomy, and didn't want Juvia around...but Genki-sama loves the rain...and he said that Juvia could stay with him. To Juvia...it makes it better. Does Genki-sama do that for you?"
"More than he knows..."
Mirajane said fondly, watching as Juvia showed a serene smile.
But then Juvia leans closer, showing a determined expression on her face.
"Also, though you are worthy competition, Juvia wont give up either."
Mirajane was taken aback by that.
But she also found it interesting, and leaned right back.
"Is that so Juvia?"
"Yes, Juvia wishes for Genki-sama too. Love rival."
"Love rival...haha, love rival."
Mirajane showed a bit of happiness when Juvia said that, and Juvia herself seemed to be rather happy as well.
Soon enough, Genki came out of the bedroom, beginning with "Morning girls..." only to pause when he saw Juvia looking towards him with her face burning bright red, love hearts appearing in her eyes at the state of his near undressed state.
"Genki-sama! Juvia is seeing you in such a state! Juvia cannot avert her eyes! Please forgive Juvia!"
Juvia blush intensified, and she shook side to side yet never took her eyes off of him for a single moment, while Mirajane gave her a curious look.
Though it seemed to Juvia, this was truly, a special moment, neither of them wished to take this away from her.
A few days since they came back from the guild, Mirajane hadn't wanted to go to the guild, so she stayed at Genki's place. Genki knew that Lisanna was hanging out with the likes of Natsu, which he thought would be good for her.
One person though who hadn't left his home was Elfman. So after seeing Mirajane's concern for Elfman growing, and his own, Genki went around towards Elfman's place, and knocked on the door, waiting for an answer.
[Come back later.]
Elfman called, so Genki spoke up.
"Elfman, its me. I want to speak to you. Please open the door."
Elfman let out a breath of bewilderment, then the door opened.
"B-Big bro...w-what are you doing here?"
Genki asked "Can I come inside?" so Elfman nods, and steps aside.
Genki goes inside, and sits down on a couch nearby.
Elfman sat opposite of him, and didn't meet his eyes, something Genki commented on.
"People are worried about you Elfman, especially your sisters. I'm worried about you too."
Elfman widened his eyes when Genki said that.
"Big bro...I didn't mean to make others worry, and my sisters..."
Seeing Elfman looked dejected, Genki continued on after a moments pause.
"Elfman...you feel guilt about what happened, don't you? Because of what happened...not being able to face those you love. The guilt's eating away at you, right?"
Elfman didn't know how to face it, it was truly difficult.
The turmoil in his eyes, and the pain of near loss, and a loss of self control as well brought heavy feelings to Elfman.
"...Big bro, I let you down...I let big sister down...and I nearly killed Lisanna...I am her elder brother, and I nearly killed her. I did a full take over...I wasn't ready, and because of that, people I loved nearly got killed, because of me. How can I call myself any kind of man now big bro?"
His words caused Genki to develop an understanding face.
"You did what you did, for noble reasons. You tried to guard your siblings. In that situation, you did what you thought was best, I can see many others doing the same in your situation Elfman."
Elfman lowered his eyes, and clenches his fists together.
"Big bro...unlike Mira, and Lisanna...it seems that I cannot control a full transformation, I thought maybe in that dire situation, that maybe I would be able to control my power, and take over that beast, to stop it from killing my siblings...but the truth is, I can't be the man that I want to be. I was weak willed...and my mind lost to that of the King of Monsters because of my weakness."
"What kind of man do you want to be Elfman?"
Elfman paused when Genki posed that question to him.
He looked Genki straight in the eyes, and saw what he wanted to be staring right back at him.
"I want to be...like you, big bro. You're my idol, I remember when we first met back in our village. Even without knowing us...you came to protect us, and you took us with you. You looked after us, and gave us a home before Fairy Tail. I thought you were so cool...you were strong, and kind at the same time, its what I thought the ideal man would be. That's the man I want to be, someone that can be relied on. Someone that is strong, and dependable. Someone that can be turned to in times of need, be the rock that you are for people like big sister, to Lisanna, and others within the guild!"
Hearing his earnest words, Genki adopted a slight smile.
"I think with time, you can reach that kind of goal Elfman. You already are kind and loyal Elfman. Those traits I saw even when we were young."
"B-But big bro, I nearly..."
"Yes, you nearly did something that could have been life changing. But it was stopped. I know Lisanna-san doesn't blame you, neither does Mira-san either. They love you Elfman. You lost control, we have to make sure that it doesn't happen again."
"Big bro I..."
Elfman was at a loss for words, so Genki expressed his thoughts earnestly to Elfman.
"I will help you in gaining control over your power. It will be hard, but I promise you it will be worth it. Work with me, and in time, we will get you to a place where you can use your magic without this happening again. I know you feel guilt, and shame for what happened. But I also know the real you, the kind gentle man that along with your siblings took me into their home. So its time to learn from this experience, and become stronger for it. Okay?"
Elfman began to cry, but his eyes filled with strength, and stared towards Genki.
His compassionate and understanding words made Elfman feel relieved, and happy at the same time as being determined to put his all into not making the same mistakes again, to not give in and strive to be better.
"Big bro, I will, I will work so hard! I promise! I wont let my sisters down again! I will...be a man, the man of the Strauss siblings...be there for them. For them to be proud of me...I want to be that man big bro."
"That is good to hear Elfman, I know you will. Now, its time to come out of here, and face your siblings again. They miss you, so come with me to see them." Genki walked towards the door, and opened it fully, allowing the light of the sun to come fully into the room. "Ready Elfman?"
Elfman dried his eyes, and gave a strong nod of his head, soon he began following Genki out, and went back towards his siblings, who once getting there, welcomed Elfman back with open arms and shared a threeway hug between them, no words needing to be expressed between them, something Genki smiled fondly at.
The next day, Mirajane wished to go back to Fairy Tail, but she was mostly silent. To the point even Makarov noticed and had some worry for her. Genki saw Lisanna speaking with Natsu and some others, Elfman also had come back, and though it was clear thoughts still weighed on his mind, he was making an effort.
Genki sat down within the S Class area, together with Mirajane who hugged his arm. Erza also sat down close by, and looked towards Genki, and then towards Mirajane.
"Its nice to see you Mira."
Erza spoke up, Mirajane looked towards Erza, and showed an ever so slight smile on her face.
"Its nice to see you too. Sorry, about being absent for a few days now. Just had some stuff to work out."
"Genki explained to us all what's going on, so you have nothing to worry about." Mirajane looked towards Genki kindly, who in turn smiled back towards her. "So, how do you feel Mira?"
Mirajane didn't know how to answer that.
"Its getting better, I think. Genki has been supporting me, and the others. He's been my rock. I feel a bit guilty about asking for too much though."
Erza could tell that something had changed a little within Mirajane, she was more quiet than she usually was.
"Honestly, its okay Mira-san. I don't mind whatsoever."
Mirajane gave an appreciate smile towards Genki, as Erza looks towards her friend fondly.
"I'm glad you're back anyway. The guild isn't quite the same without you."
"You're kind Erza, thank you very much."
Mirajane continued to smile, while Erza continued to worry for her friend, and wished to help her in anyway that she could do.
"Anyway, I've been thinking of going on a mission. Mira, want to come with me?"
Erza offered kindly, but Mirajane shook her head.
"Did Genki not tell you that I'd not be going on missions for a while?"
"He did, he said you're taking a break from jobs. I thought that you could come with me anyway, to get some fresh air. Its a simple mission, nothing dangerous."
Erza offered Mirajane once more, but like before, Mirajane seemed hesitant.
"Really, its okay. I'm happy enough here for now. Actually, I might take up the job behind the bar, become a waitress perhaps. Would be a good way to get some money." Mirajane soothingly placed her head on Genki's shoulder, and hugged his arm with her own, snuggling against him. "For a while, do you mind if I lay on your shoulder like this?"
"Of course not."
Giving her the go ahead, Mirajane was quite content with being beside Genki like this.
Erza then tapped her head, and looked towards him, indicating she wished to have a telepathic talk, so he and Erza began speaking via Telepathy.
"Tell me the truth, is she doing better? To be honest, its hard to tell."
"Honestly, I think she is doing better than she was when it first happened. It was a shock to the system, and I think she's lost some faith in herself. The mission itself with that King of Monsters...If it was only that beast itself, I think Mira-san could have handled it, but with its little minions as well, it was a difficult time, and overwhelmed her, plus seeing one sibling possessed essentially, and the other nearly get a fatal hit from the controlled sibling while she was injured and unable to make it in time to stop it happening, it has caused her great anguish."
"Yes, I can understand that, it would be difficult for anyone to see such things happen. Still, I hope she's able to regain the faith she's lost. She's really good at what she does, if there's anything I can do, let me know."
Genki knew Erza truly did care for Mirajane, and hated seeing her so low, and down. So, she was also trying her best to cheer her friend up, and help her regain what she was losing, something Genki did appreciate.
"Of course Erza-san, I think right now the best we can do is assure her and the others. Be there for them, and if they want to talk, then we're there."
Erza nods, and goes back to speaking out loud.
"Anyway, I was on a job recently, and I received all this cake. To be honest, its more than I can handle on my own, so you both can have some if you want."
"Aah thanks Erza-san, I'd love some cake~"
Genki expressed joyfully, Mirajane glanced towards Erza curiously.
"What kind of cake is it?"
"Many kinds, some cheese, chocolate, strawberry. I saved a chef and he was very generous. So, I've thought about giving everyone in the guild some of the cake."
"Chocolate does sound good, what do you think Genki?"
Mirajane wonders with the young man chortling.
"I do like chocolate cake for sure."
Mirajane for a moment, showed a small real smile, something both Erza and Genki caught, glad that she was able to begin smiling like that again.
So they continued to express their thoughts and speak to one another, as Juvia and the others also mingled down below.
"So...only S Class can go up there?"
Juvia wondered to Wendy, who nods a single time.
"Yes, usually it is those three, and a boy named Laxus. He's a bit older than the rest of us. There is another S Class named Gildarts-san, but he only comes from time to time." Cana glanced in Wendy's direction as she continued. "Why did you ask Juvia-san? Do you want to go up there too?"
Juvia lightly blushed, and began looking towards Genki with bright eyes.
"Genki-sama...Juvia wishes to know even more."
"Well, we can tell you. But maybe you could ask him yourself? He is pretty open with many things."
Cana assured, with Juvia nodding in agreement.
But then she noticed Gray beginning to undress without thinking, causing her to gasp in shock.
"Noooooooo! Please keep your clothes on! Juvia can only see Genki-sama naked for the first time! He is the only man Juvia must see naked! Juvia cannot look at you! So please do as Juvia asks!"
Gray jumped when Juvia yelled that out, while Natsu laughed at Gray immediately.
"Hear that ice boy, seems like the new girls put you in your place!"
"Quiet Natsu!"
"You shut up!"
The boys squared off against one another, while Juvia looks at them curiously, before turning her head, and seeing Genki looking down towards them, so she energetically waved her hand up towards him, so he returned it, and waved right back down, causing Juvia's heart to flutter at the sight.
A few days had passed since then, Genki had begun training Elfman, Lisanna was recovering pretty well, and was being cheerful, Mirajane also showed a rather cheerful expression as well.
Genki was also glad to see that Juvia was beginning to settle in. It seemed that she would be joining Fairy Tail, based on what he could see, though he did find her funny at times, when she yelled at Gray to put on clothes, but nonetheless, people had taken to Juvia very well, and Genki could see she was happy, beginning to make more friends, something that she has always wanted.
Genki sat within the S Class Mage area of Fairy Tail, together with Erza, as they glanced at Mirajane, seeing her beginning to do some odd jobs around the guild hall, it seemed that she wanted to be occupied, and she thought that would be the best way to go about it.
"It seems that she's becoming more cheerful."
Erza noted, with Genki nodding.
"Yes, you're right, I'm glad she is. Though I don't know if she'll want to do a job again anytime soon. She's taking it one day at a time."
"Its good that she is, and I heard Elfman is also coming along well."
"He is. Do you want to help train Elfman? I am sure he'd be appreciative to get training from someone as strong as you."
Erza raises her fist, and crushes it into her hand.
"Elfman will go through proper rigorous training with me, Genki."
Genki lightly laughed.
"Yes, I have no doubt you would do wonders with him Erza-san~"
As they talked, Lisanna began coming up the stairs towards him.
"Genki-kun, can I talk with you? Its kinda important."
Erza hearing that, excused herself for the moment, so Lisanna sat down next to Genki.
"What is it Lisanna-san?"
"Well...Natsu said there's this mission he wants me, and Happy to do with him. But I haven't been on a mission since...you know, since what happened. I'm not really worried...I mean, I feel a bit apprehensive about it..."
"You're worried about your sister, right?"
Lisanna gives a single nod of her head, and pushes her fingers together shyly.
"I wanna make sure that Mira would be okay with me going. I know she'll worry about me, but think you can talk with her? If things go south? I plan to speak with her soon."
"Well, I can give it a go."
"Thanks Genki-kun! You think it would be okay if I went with Natsu?"
"Natsu, for as loud and hyper he can be, is pretty strong, and you yourself also is pretty strong. If you do end up going, you know you can call me at anytime, day or night, okay? If you need me, I'll come as fast as I can."
Lisanna blushed with shyness, yet happiness at the same time.
"I know, thank you Genki-kun."
Genki nods his head, when Virgo suddenly appears towards Genki.
"Virgo-chan, what a surprise. Is there something going on?"
"Actually, there is something I wish to discuss with you Prince, the same for Aries. She wishes to talk to you."
"Of course. I'll just step out of here, and we can talk in private if you want?"
"Yes, thank you Prince."
Genki excuses himself, promising to be right back, Lisanna glances at Mirajane, and begins approaching her...
Going a good distance away from the guild, Genki sat within the park, and summoned Aries to his side.
The young shy spirit shuffled in place, lightly blushing as she gazed towards Genki every so often.
"Aries-san, is everything okay? Virgo-chan said you wished to speak with me?"
Aries continues giving off a shy look, so Virgo speaks up instead.
"Aries said she wishes to gain strength."
"V-Virgo...t-that is...I mean, I don't want to be a burden...and I just..."
Seeing how shy she was, Genki softened his gaze, and patted the bench.
"Come, you can say anything to me Aries-san."
Aries began to smile ever so slightly, and fiddled with her fingertips, as she approached the bench.
Virgo already had sat on the other side of Genki, and was hugging his arm to her chest with a blank look on her face.
Aries shyly sat down beside Genki, her soft adorable gaze turned towards him.
"Aries-san, you want to gain strength?"
"I...I...I want...I want to...be able to...help more...than I am...b-because Genki-sama...was so kind...and is so strong...I would be...given more power...so I want...to be able to help you Genki-sama...w-would you...t-teach me how to fight...with my hands...and feet…?"
"I see, so you want to be taught hand to hand combat? I was under the impression you knew some?"
Aries turned her eyes towards his own.
What she saw looking back was kindness, and support, something that she melted at, and adored to see.
Someone wanting to listen and be there for her, made the world of difference to Aries.
"I do...b-but, I saw Genki-sama...and I wanted to...be able to do what you can do...Genki-sama...to be a better spirit...my magic is good for defence...I also...want to do my best...for the boy...that helped me out..."
Genki gently smiled, leaning his hand across, and placed it on top of her head.
Aries developed a healthy flush as Genki affectionately pets her head.
"If you want me to, then I would do that for you Aries-san. That isn't a problem."
"Y-Yes...I didn't want to be a burden...b-but Virgo-san said it would be okay...i-it is okay? I'm sorry! I didn't mean to ask such questions!"
Genki lightly chuckled at her words, and edged closer towards her, showing compassion in his smile.
"You are so cute Aries-san. You don't ever have to apologize to me. Though I am the one that summons you, you don't have to think of me as your Master, or anything. I want us to be good friends, and whatever else we can be. Equals, you know?"
"Equals...so, Virgo-san was right...you are truly...a friend to all spirits...you treat us so kindly...Genki-sama…!"
"Of course, I adore spirits Aries-san."
Her face continued to flush, placing her hands on said flushing face.
"Adore..."
"Yes, that's right, adore."
Aries let out the tiniest of giggles, while Virgo gave a thumbs up.
"See, Aries? I told you, our Prince is truly the kindest. Also Prince, I have a request."
"Does it pertain to punishment, Virgo-chan?"
Virgo blushed brightly, and shifted her gaze side to side in an adorable manner.
"The Prince knows me too well. Yes, it is to do with punishment Prince. I have thought of a new one that we could explore together."
Genki gave her an odd expression, while Aries was blushing brightly at how openly Virgo spoke about such things.
"I see, then we can talk about that."
"Thank you, my Prince. The only person I would want to be punished by, is you. With your gentle yet loving hands."
Aries let out a cute "Hauuuu!" noise while Genki lightly chuckled, finding her ways to be rather adorable, and listened to what Virgo had to say, while making sure that Aries was feeling okay after everything that happened.
When Genki returned back to Fairy Tail from what he had to do, the young man looked around and saw various people doing their usual thing. But one person he saw, was Lisanna.
Lisanna was sat in the corner, looking a little dejected, so he went towards her to see what was going on with her.
"Hey Lisanna-san, everything okay?"
"Aah...Genki-kun...well, erm...hard to say really."
Genki raised a brow.
"Something happen?"
"Not in a bad sense, but big sister, and I, remember when I said about speaking with her...Mira said that she wouldn't want me to go on any jobs, at least not without you."
"I see, so that's what she said."
Genki wondered, beginning to understand the situation that was going on.
"Yeah...she said that if it was with you, it would be fine. But without you..."
Genki believed he understood what was going on, so he placed his hand on top of Lisanna's head.
"Let me speak with her, okay?"
"Y-Yeah...it really is difficult, isn't it?"
"I know Lisanna-san. You understand she's worried for you, right Lisanna-san?"
"Yeah...I know, she really does love and care about us. It really has caused her heartache, hasn't it?"
Lisanna said it sadly, she didn't want to cause Mirajane to worry about her in the slightest.
Genki himself gave her a reassuring look.
"Its been a rough experience for her, for you all. I think she simply is worried about what could have happened, and doesn't want you to be in that danger again, very understandable considering what you all went through."
"Yeah...well, thank you Genki-kun, I know if anyone can reach Mira, then its you. She really does care for you a lot."
Genki smiled softly in her direction.
"I care for her too."
"Do you love her, Genki-kun?"
Genki lightly flushed, and rubbed the back of her head.
"Shouldn't the first person I tell be the person I love, Lisanna-san?"
Lisanna gasped, and cupped her hands together excitedly.
"You, you really do...y-yes! You're right Genki-kun, please go and find Mira!"
"Right. And Lisanna-san?"
Lisanna tilts her head.
"Yes?"
"It isn't only Mira-san that worries about you, I do too. So do your best to be safe, okay?"
Lisanna gives a cute humble expression.
"Yes...I will do. Thank you Genki-kun. You're always looking out for me, and big brother Elf, and big sister Mira. I'm glad that day, we found you on the beach. You've been like our guardian Angel ever since, always wanting us to be happy, and being there for us in our time of need."
"You brought me into your home Lisanna-san that day years ago, you all saved me. So I've decided that I'll look after you as much as I can, but I also know that you'll grow strong in many ways. What you tried to do for your brother by snapping him back to his senses, and your sister, was very brave Lisanna-san."
Lisanna showed a small smile.
Genki then continued.
"Then again, you've been brave since the first time I met you, standing up to that crowd who tried to harm your sister. Though...if we had lost you that day with the King of Monsters...I would have been truly devastated, because I care about you so much. Like Mira-san...I don't want anything to happen to you either."
Lisanna held tears in her eyes which soon began to run down her face at his beautiful words, and ended up hugging Genki, who returned the affection and stroked her back, Lisanna in turn fully embraced Genki.
"Yeah...I will. Thank you, Genki-kun..." Lisanna looked up towards him with big shiny eyes. "So...you and big sister...hehe, I always knew, you know."
"You did huh."
Genki lightly snickered, Lisanna pulled out her tongue at him.
"Of course, I saw the signs when you first met, and saw it grow ever since."
"Your prediction ability is almost as good as Cana-sans it seems~"
Lisanna giggled, as Genki pulled away from her.
"Go, and find Mira. I'm sure...she is going to be happy. You both...will be happy, I know it."
Genki thanked her, and walked out of the building, leaving behind a very happy Lisanna.
Genki eventually found Mirajane sat on a sandy beach, staring off at the water before her. Genki silently approached the young woman, who in turn didn't realize that he had arrived, until he sat down beside her.
She turned towards him, and she whispered "Hey, there you are." causing Genki to lightly smile.
"Here I am. So Mira-san...I heard that while I was out, that something happened."
Mirajane turned her head to the water, her eyes entranced
"Lisanna...she wanted to go out on another mission with Natsu this time. I...I don't know what to think, I know she can take care of herself, and Natsu isn't a pushover by any means. I just...keep flashing back to that day. If you didn't arrive when you did...then Lisanna could've been killed...I keep thinking about it on loop in my head. That she could have...she could have died...and that thought...scares me so much. Elfman...he could've...he could have lived with the guilt of doing that...even if it wasn't him, I know Elfman would feel guilt about hurting Lisanna. Or even killing her. I couldn't imagine how Elfman would feel living with that."
Genki nods slowly.
"Yeah, its very understandable to have those fears, Mira-san."
"Lisanna...I know Natsu is strong, and I know that the mission we went on...it was different to the normal ones they'd be going on...but still, deep within me...this nagging feeling...it keeps telling me that something might happen...that she could be hurt...or worse..."
Genki could understand that, so he placed an arm around her body, and pulled her closer towards him.
His hand soothingly stroked her arm as her head fell against his shoulder.
"You're worried that maybe it wont be a normal mission, that's what you're saying, right?"
"Yeah...ours was supposed to be against the King of Monsters, it ended up being against a near whole army of monsters. Elfman took over that beast...he did it to save me, and then he nearly lost himself. He did lose himself, Genki."
"Of course you'd be worried about your siblings, its very natural to be after what happened. That mission was something that could have gone even more south than it already did."
Mirajane nods, and begins tearing up.
"I don't want to lose them Genki...I can't lose them..."
Genki pulled her even closer, so she was sat on his lap, and he himself held her within his arms gently.
"I wont let anything like that happen to them with all of the power inside of me, Mira-san."
"I know...but, what if you're not there? What if she goes with Natsu...and then something happens. If she's with you...then I know she'd be safe...but with anyone else...I just...I just trust you to make sure they'd be safe...that isn't to say I don't trust Natsu or anyone else in the guild, because I do trust them...but, I know you, and you came for us that day...you saved Lisanna...and I can't ever thank you enough."
"You never have to thank me for that, I was just glad that you all managed to stay safe for as long as you did. Lisanna-san...I understand your apprehension, Mira-san. I truly do. It can be scary, to see that she could have been...killed before your eyes, it would bring many people into thinking it could happen again."
Mirajane was glad that he understood what she was thinking. Even she found it difficult to put her words into sentences, trying to organize her thoughts was difficult when it came to something like this for Mirajane.
"Honestly...you are so good to me, Genki. Why...?"
Genki takes her hand gently in his own.
"Its because I love you, Mira-chan."
Mirajane felt her heart skip a beat.
"Genki...I..."
At a loss for words, Mirajane couldn't form a coherent sentence, instead she could only look towards him with her face turning more and more red by the moment.
"Mira-chan...you are someone I deeply love, and always want to be around. Because you're important to me, precious to me. Seeing you cry, makes my heart hurt, so I want to do anything I can to cheer you up, to help you feel better. I know right now its a confusing time...but, its okay, whatever it takes, I'll do it to give you peace of mind."
His words soothed her.
His gentle voice swayed her.
His body comforted her.
"Whatever you decide to do now Mira-chan, if you decide to do Mage jobs or not, I'll be right beside you. Supporting you. If you maybe want to go with me on jobs until you feel ready to go on them again on your own, or if you don't want to do any jobs at all, that's up to you, what you feel comfortable with."
Hearing that melted Mirajane's heart.
How supportive he was of her, and wanted what's best for her, and what she thought was best as well.
He then continued, with his fingers stroking her leg in a soft delicate comforting manner.
"But I can say Mira-chan, that day, you were S Class. You did everything that you possibly could do, like any of us would have done. Circumstances simply were against you. You did amazing Mira-chan given the circumstances, and Elfman, and Lisanna-san, both feel the same as I do."
Those words made Mirajane place a hand over her chest with happy tears running down her face, and breathe out a single time.
Mirajane peered into his eyes.
The love and trust she saw, caused Mirajane to feel her heart bursting with intense feelings. Feelings that she had wanted to share with Genki for so long. Feelings she wanted to express from the rooftops, and hearing his own feelings radiated within her.
"Genki...I love you. I love you so much. I...want to stay beside you. To be with you...to be in your arms always."
She expressed earnestly, and honestly, something that made Genki brightly smile.
"I want that too, Mira-chan. To be with you always."
Genki gave a joyful smile, as they leaned towards one another.
Closer and closer, Genki and Mirajane didn't stop for even a moment, allowing their lips to come together, in an expression of their love.
The kiss they shared transmitted the feelings they had for one another, and caused both of them to become rather excited at many new possibilities between them.
When they mutually pulled apart, Mirajane lovingly stroked his face, while he held her within his arms.
"Genki...if I went with you on jobs...maybe that would be good for me for now. I don't know if I'm ready to go on my own...but, when I'm with you, I feel like...I can take on the world."
Saying it with a clear voice, Genki was glad to hear Mirajane was beginning to feel even a little better.
"Yeah, come with me. And as for Elfman...well, we'll make sure that he's ready, so what happened, doesn't happen again."
"Elfman told me, you've taken him under your wing...its good, I know that he'll grow with you, I'll even help as well, I don't want Elfman to suffer like that again. As for Lisanna...I am worried Genki, I am so worried about what could happen. But...I also know, you'd do everything in your power to get to her if she needs you. So thinking like that...I know she has someone always looking out for her, and would do anything to protect her."
Genki nodded along with what she said, he would do whatever it took to protect Lisanna, and anyone else that he cherished.
"I know you would too Mira-chan, we both would. Plus, I wouldn't like to be Natsu if something happened with Lisanna-san, he'd be so dead."
"He would be super mega dead." Mirajane joked, showing her smile for the first time since the event happened. "Can I be selfish, and ask for...two things? My boyfriend."
She whispered at the end to test the waters and see how it sounded, which she thought sounded very natural and right, Genki caught what she said, and gave a delighted smile in return.
"Sure, what is it?"
Intrigued, he wondered what she was thinking, which he soon told her himself.
"Well, the first thing is...I want to live with you." Mirajane expressed her inner most desires, and then continued with a healthy blush growing on her face. "More than we do now. I want to share a bed with you everyday, wake up next to you...and go to sleep next to you. Eat together with you...sit with you, and hold onto you. Its something I've thought about...and its something I want to do with you."
Hearing her beautiful words, they enchanted Genki's imaginations, and his own ideal scenario.
"Haha...yeah, lets live together. Hm, maybe we should buy the entire apartment building...and renovate it, make it all ours. Erza-san could also move in, I'm sure she'd be happy to do that, she practically does anyway~ Wendy-chan and Carla-san too. I think Juvia-san wants to keep living with me too, which is okay with me if she wishes too. And of course, Virgo-chan and Aries-san as well. Heck, maybe even Cana-san, she also does come from time to time, even Levy-san does it as well. Mavis-chan too, she's always there as well...geez, seems like we might have to buy the entire building to fit everyone in~"
Mirajane snickered, believing that he was probably right about that.
"Seems that we might have too~ Or maybe we should buy Fairy Hills, and we all live there hehe~ Including Juvia who seems rather adamant about being near you~" Mirajane giggled, sinking back into her lovers arms. "Speaking of Juvia, what is her deal exactly? I have seen her do some...very interesting things, like declaring you her Genki-sama, and that she wishes to be apart of your team, and things like that."
Genki wasn't sure on how to answer that.
"Ooh...Juvia-san is a very interesting person. I do know deep down, she is a good person as she immediately went to fight for Wendy-chan and the others when they were in danger, she very much fits with Fairy Tail with her kindness, though she did scare Wendy-chan at one point~"
Genki laughed out, with Mirajane giggling.
"I see. I'm so happy...we get to live together, ooh yes, my other request." Mirajane pulled out a letter she received, and showed it to Genki. "Think we can do that together? I got this a while ago, and I know you got one as well, seems like someone's very interested in seeing us together~"
Genki gave it an intrigued stare.
"Really, you want to do that?"
"Yes, I think together, we'd be really good at that. So, what do you say? Want to give it ago? If it is with you...then I'd want to at least try it."
Genki gave a beaming smile towards Mirajane, and lifted her up bridal style, causing Mirajane to blush happily.
"So, modelling for Sorcerer Weekly huh. Alright, it could be interesting, right Mira-chan?"
"Yeah~"
Mirajane and Genki bring their lips together, sharing in their love with one another.
Though Mirajane wasn't sure what the future held, she did know now that she would be able to share that future, with the one man that she loved so much. It all began on a beach, so she thought, them coming together on a beach, felt right to her, and she was glad, to be able to say something she had felt for a long time, the same with Genki.

So this chapter dealt with the aftermath of the King of Monsters mission. Mirajane is rather shaken by what happened, Elfman naturally is the same and dealing with feelings of losing control. Genki did his best to help them out, together with Mirajane they will help Elfman get a better hold of his powers. While that was going on, it seems Juvia has also moved in with Genki, and has taken to Fairy Tail rather well~ Then towards the end, Genki and Mirajane confessed their feelings for one another, and becoming an official couple because of it.
