I am going to get right to the point, PLEASE DO NOT ASK ME TO CONTINUE OTHER STORIES. There is a reason why I am not continuing them. And it kind of makes me frustrated that people are constantly using my comment section on stories that are active just to ask to make other stories that I have no interest in continuing. I don't mean to be disrespectful but I have a lot of things going on in my life and I can't deal with people who are begging me to continue stories I had quit on. "Wait, guys…"
"Yeah, what is it Lincoln- what is that noise?", asked Undyne.
"It's my phone… my sisters are calling me, more specifically Lori", said Lincoln.
"Didn't I speak to them before?", asked Undyne.
"Y=yeah but, uh… just everyone wait a second I'm gonna take this call", said Lincoln as he turned around.
"Hello?"
"LINCOLN-"
Lincoln was startled by the loud shout from his sisters.
"Woah guys uh, calm down…", said Lincoln.
'How can we calm down right now! We know you're actually alive!", shouted Luna.
"I thought that lady killed you and we were all worried sick!", shouted Lori.
"We tried calling you a couple times", said Leni.
Lincoln put the phone on speaker and checked his missed calls.
"Uh… is a little bit 389 missed calls?", asked Lincoln.
"Was it that much?", asked Lynn.
"Why didn't you answer it until now?", asked Luan.
"Because my phone was dead", exclaimed Lincoln.
"Is it charged now?", asked Lori.
"Uh… no it's only 2%", replied Lincoln.
"Wait, how is that even possible?", asked Lisa.
"I uh… I can explain later", said Lincoln as he covered his phone to tell the monsters something. "Every time I reset it only resets the timeline and everything down here, not on the surface".
"woah that is something i did not know", said sans.
"Lincoln? Lincoln, are you there? Who are you talking to?"
"Uhh yeah I'm here and I'm talking to no one", said Lincoln.
"I can tell you're lying", said Lisa.
"Give the phone to whoever you were talking to, I want to have a few words for them", said Lynn threateningly.
"lincoln give the phone to me. i know what to do,'' exclaimed sans.
Lincoln gave the phone to sans.
"Who are you and what are you doing to Lincoln?", asked Lana.
"hey this is Giannini Pizza Plaza. i don't know who this lincoln person is but all i see is this white haired kid trying to order some pizza", exclaimed sans.
Lincoln couldn't help but laugh at that. Undyne laughed a little too. Alphys just smiled awkwardly and Papyrus was about to say something.
"YES UH THIS IS GEEAUNIE PIZZA PLAZA AND THIS YOUNG HU- KID JUST WANTED TO ORDER SOME PIZZA, NOTHING TOO CRAZY", shouted Papyrus.
"Under all of the circumstances, Lincoln is ordering pizza?", questioned Lynn.
"Ooo what pizza is Lincoln ordering!", shouted Leni.
"Leni, that's what you're worried about?", asked Lori.
"What? I just want to know what kind of pizza he orders", said Leni.
"Sans give the phone back to me", whispered Lincoln.
Sans gave the phone back.
"Yeah guys I don't know why you are all so worried, I am just hungry so I am ordering pizza", said Lincon.
"Uhhh ok? Do you even have money dude?", asked Luna.
'No…? But uh this is free pizza week yeah… And Leni, I am ordering a plain cheese pizza", exclaimed Lincoln.
"Aww come on Lincoln that's so bor-"
Lincoln looked at his phone, the screen was black and whe he tried to turn it on the red battery symbol came up.
"Man, my phone died again", exclaimed Lincoln.
"Really sans? Giannini pizza plaza?", asked Undyne.
"i was under pressure and i just tried to think of a random name", stated sans.
"P-Papyrus, you pronounced the n-name wrong too", said ALphys.
"I DID?"
"Papyrus it's pronounced JUH NEE NEE not JEE AUN NEE", stated Lincoln.
"OH WOOPS, MY BAD", exclaimed Papyrus.
"Well with that o-out of the way… l-let's continue through hotland", said Alphys.
LIncoln and Undyne agreed and sans and Papyrus began to follow them.
They all walked out of Alphys's lab finally and began through hotland.
"Ughh, I still hate hotland a lot", complained Undyne.
"I can tell, you're sweating a lot", said Lincoln. "And didn't you fall over because your armor gave you a heat stroke?"
"Yes but don't talk about that, It's not one of my proud moments", exclaimed Undyne.
"Ok… Alphys, is there any way to cool down? Because I'm with Undyne on this, it's so hot here", said Lincoln.
"Uhh, no but m-maybe after this I can t-try to work on something to s-solve this problem", said Alphys.
"Yeah but I'll be gone by then, at least I think I will be… I don't have any plans on coming back unfortunately", exclaimed Lincoln.
"WAIT SO AFTER YOU LEAVE YOU AREN'T COMING BACK?", asked Papyrus.
"I wasn't really planning on it… some stuff down here gives me lots of trauma I don't want to think about", said Lincoln as he glanced at sans.
"that makes sense, i wouldn't want to come back to a place where i killed people", exclaimed sans, not realizing what he said.
Lincoln just winced at what sans had said, only then did sans realize.
"SANS, PLEASE DON'T SAY THAT", shouted Papyrus.
"oh uh lincoln i didn't mean to make you feel bad, it was just an honest opinion", apologized sans.
"I-it's ok uhm… don't worry about it", said Lincoln.
The gang kept walking through hotland and even got past the most difficult part which was the strange arrow steam shooting things that shoot you across the ground.
"Alphys, I have a question", said Lincoln.
"W-what's that?"
"What happens if you fall down there?", asked Lincoln.
"you don't wanna know", said sans.
All of a sudden Lincoln had a flashback that wasn't his again.
"Uh… actually, I do know…", said Lincoln. "Uhm, don't you… get erased from existence?"
"Yeah…"
"Isn't that what happen to g-"
"don't finish that sentence", said sans as he controlled Lincoln's soul for the millionth time.
"S-sans"
Lincoln was frightened by him.
"Sans, please don't do that… it really stresses Lincoln out", said Undyne.
Sans quickly stopped what he was doing.
"i am sorry lincoln, again i wasn't thinking too clearly", said sans.
Lincoln got up, still slightly afraid.
"A-again, it's ok…", said Lincoln. "But why didn't you want me to say… his name?"
"because no one needs to know that", said sans.
"NEED TO KNOW WHAT?", asked Papyrus.
"Yeah what can't we know?", asked Undyne.
"it's kind of private information", exclaimed sans.
"They why does Lincoln know?", asked Undyne.
"Listen, I don't know I'm able to remember everything sans remembers, it's really weird", said Lincoln.
"Ok but if Lincoln knows why can't we?", asked Undyne.
"U-uh can we change the s-subject?", asked Alphys.
"WAIT BUT I REALLY WANT TO KNOW NOW", shouted Papyrus.
"Yeah sans! Or even Lincoln! Tell us who fell down there!", demanded Undyne.
"no…"
Lincoln was starting to get stressed out. And so was Alphys, because she knew who it was as well.
"It… uh… it was…"
"finish that sentence and i will not hesitate to hurt you", threatened sans.
"OK OK SANS IF THAT'S WHAT THE COST IS WE WON'T ASK ANYMORE", said Papyrus.
"I don't even know why you're getting so worked up about this in the first place, it's just a person who fell, what's so important about it?", asked Undyne.
"something, you don't need to know… now can we just continue?", asked sans.
Undyne sighed as she caught a glimpse of Lincoln, who was still slightly shaken up from sans's threat.
"Yeah… let's all go", said Undyne
The gang began walking through Hotland some more and they were making progress. Until they all came across an obstacle.
"Damn it… I f-forgot to turn the lasers o-off", exclaimed Alphys.
"Oh no… I hate these lasers so much, they really had hurt me before because I'm reeeally bad at avoiding them", exclaimed Lincoln.
"Y-yeah… I watched you… it s-seemed very painful", said Alphys.
"It was… and I don't know how I'm gonna get through without getting hurt, I don't have a definite way of healing myself either…", exclaimed Lincoln nervously.
"HMM WAIT"
"What is it Papyrus?", asked Undyne.
"WHAT IF LINCOLN USES HIS SHIELD THINGS TO
BLOCK THE LASERS?", questioned Papryus,
"Sh-shield?", asked Alphys.
"YEAH! LINCOLN USED IT TO BLOCK UNDYNE'S ATTACK BEFORE, WHY DOESN'T HE TRY TO USE IT NOW?"
"Hey that's not actually a bad idea", exclaimed Lincoln.
"W-wait what?", wondered Alphys.
Lincoln summoned a shield.
"In case you haven't known, I can not only spawn in weapons but also shields… it's pretty cool", explained Lincoln.
"I wish I could do that, all I can do is spawn in blue and yellow arrows", complained Undyne.
"I mean I can't do much… I mean not as much as what sans can do…", exclaimed Lincoln not knowing the full story.
Sans just awkwardly smiled as everyone stared at him.
"And… no offense, but Alphys, I haven't seen you produce any magic at all… can you even do magic?", asked Lincoln.
"Uh… I mean of c-course I can… but I just, I just don't really like u-using it all that much", said Alphys.
"Well what can you do?", asked Lincoln.
"I uh… I can p-produce electricity", said Alphys.
"Woah… that's cool", exclaimed Lincoln.
"Alphys I never seen you do that before, that's really cool why don't you try it?", asked Undyne.
"YES I WOULD LIKE TO SEE IT", shouted Papyrus.
"N-no… please I don't f-feel very comfortable d-doing it", stuttered Alphys nervously.
"Oh ok.. we won't bother you about it", said Lincoln.
"Th-thanks"
"Anyways, I'm gonna test the thing Papyrus said", exclaimed Lincoln as he spawned a shield in his other hand.
The first laser was an orange laser. You have to move in order to not get hurt. He slowly walked up, blocking the entire laser from his body. It was working so far… but he was moving so it didn't really count. Lincoln decided to stop moving just to test it.
Immediately when he did that he regretted it. The bolt of electricity zapped through the shields and through Lincoln's body. It hurt worse than just getting zapped with a laser. And the worst part is Lincoln couldn't move.
He needed help…
"HEY ARE YOU OK?", asked Papyrus in worry.
Lincoln tried forming a sentence but he couldn't form it correctly. It was mostly just short yelps.
"SANS DO SOMETHING!", shouted Papyrus.
"i would but i don't want to use my magic on hi-"
"JUST DO IT!", shouted Undyne.
Sans just stared, not knowing what to do.
"Oh for cheeses crust sans…", said Undyne as she ran through the laser.
Undyne grabbed Lincoln and quickly brought him back to the start, fortunately Undyne was ok as she was moving. Lincoln stopped feeling pain but he was scared. Undyne sat him down and Lincoln was shaking in fear.
"Lincoln it's ok now, you're out of the lasers… you won't get hurt again", assured Undyne.
Lincoln was still scared, but hearing Undyne say that was very reassuring. And started to calm down, and soon… he was calm.
He stood up.
"Th-thanks Undyne… I… didn't know that was going to happen", said Lincoln.
"SORRY, I THOUGHT IT WOULD BE A GOOD IDEA", shouted Papyrus.
"It's not your fault, it really did seem like a good idea, but I guess it just wasn't", said Lincoln.
"ok… we have one problem solved, but how do we get past the lasers?", asked sans.
"Uh… I-I have an I-idea", said Alphys.
"What's your idea?", asked Undyne.
"Well… I said I could… p-produce electricity, I-I can also manipulate it a-as well, and since the lasers are made u-up of electricity, I can just move them t-to the side", explained Alphys.
"Wait so you're gonna use your magic?", asked Undyne.
"Y-yeah"
"Are you sure about this Alphys? What if you get hurt like I did?", asked Lincoln.
"D-don't worry, I am pretty sure I won't get hurt", exclaimed Alphys.
Alphys stood in front of the lasers and took a deep breath. She held her hands out in front of her. All of a sudden the lasers started to disappear.
"Woah… that's cool", exclaimed Lincoln.
"Yeah why were you so afraid to show this?", asked Undyne.
"Uh… I just don't f-feel right doing so, just quickly pass through please", said Alphys.
Without saying anything else, the 4 had walked through the path and Alphys eventually came behind.
"I'm glad we are past them, even if I had to kind of suffer to get here", exclaimed Lincoln.
"Y-yeah me too, I-I hope I don't have to do that again", exclaimed Alphys.
"Don't worry, I'll figure out a solution if we see another set of lasers", said Undyne.
"Th-thanks"
The group continued to walk through hotland and they all eventually passed Mettaton's cooking place too. Lincoln didn't really want to be reminded of THAT incident. Then after a couple minutes of walking, and complaining of the heat, they made it to the elevator and went inside.
"Ok Alphys, in the… last route I took, I was able to skip floors… like I went straight to L3, can we do that now?", asked Lincoln.
"Yeah…y-you always have been able t-to do that", said Alphys.
"What do you mean?", asked Lincoln.
"You could've gone to L3 from the very beginning, I just disabled it so… uh", said Alphys as the sentence trailed off.
"I-it's ok Alphys, I had more adventure that way", stated Lincoln.
Lincoln pressed the L3 button and the elevator started moving to the left. It was still weird that the "elevators" move left to right instead of up and down. Well, the elevator in Alphys's lab goes up and down at least…
Eventually, the door had opened, and the 5 stepped out.
"PERSONALLY, I AM NOT A BIG FAN OF ELEVATORS", stated Papyrus.
"do you know why elevator jokes are so good?", asked sans.

"WHY"
"cause they work on so many different levels"
"SANS…"
Lincoln was laughing a bit at the joke. Undyne and Alphys was just nervous for Papyrus's reaction.
"SANS… THAT WAS PRETTY GOOD", admitted Papyrus.
"really?"
"YES, BUT DON'T GET USED TO IT", shouted Papyrus.
"Wow Papyrus complementing on sans's puns, that's something you don't see everyday", said Lincoln.
"Yeah I'll say, anyways can we hurry to the hotel? I really do not want to be in this heat any longer", complained Undyne.
"Yeah, come on guys let's go"
The 5 all began walking towards the hotel, and eventually they made it inside.
"YES, it is so much cooler in here", cheered Undyne.
"Yeah, I never really liked the heat either, I'm glad we can get some fresh air here", exclaimed Lincoln.
"Well, just be w-warned… it is so much hotter i-in the core", warned Alphys.
"Wait what?"
"Hotland w-wasn't as close to the c-core, and it wasn't as hot, but n-now it's going to be much hotter", exclaimed Alphys.
"Ughhh come on, I'll just stay here then, you guys go along", complained Undyne.
"Are you sure?", questioned Alphys.
"Yeah, I can't deal with this heat anymore… so uh bai Lincoln!", shouted Undyne.
"Uh… bai"
"I'LL STAY HERE WITH UNDYNE HERE TOO SO SHE DOESN'T GET TOO LONELY, CONSIDERING THE FACT THAT THERE IS NO ONE ELSE HERE", said Papyrus.
"Oh ok then… Well, I'll see you guys later… or maybe never again", stated Lincoln.
"GOODBYE LINCOLN, HOPEFULLY WE WILL SEE YOU AGAIN", waved Papyrus.
"BAI!", shouted Undyne.
"i'll see ya later bro", said sans.
"Ok, come on guys", said Lincoln as the 3 started walking out of the hotel.
The 3 of them were in the pathway between the core and the hotel, and Lincoln thought it wasn't that hot here. In fact it was pretty cold, but probably because of the air conditioning from the hotel. When they got to the actual Core area, it was extremely hot.
"I don't ever think it was this hot when I was here, or I just never noticed", exclaimed Lincoln.
"Yeah, it's a-always been this hot", exclaimed Alphys. "Anyways, all we have to do is take this elevator and it should take us to the entrance that leads to another elevator.
'Great, I can't believe I'm almost there!", shouted Lincoln in happiness.
"you looking forward to seeing your family again?", asked sans.
"Yeah… it's been a really long time and they seemed so worried…", exclaimed Lincoln.
"don't worry, i'm sure they will be happy to see you", said sans.
"Thanks… but"
Lincoln looked at the left entrance, the entrance where Madjick was supposed to be.
"but what?"
"I have to take care of something first, stay here", said Lincoln as he walked through the left entrance.
Alphys and sans decided to do what Lincoln said and waited for him. Meanwhile Lincoln was walking and looking around, his goal was to find Madjick. He never saw Madjicks or Knight Knights in the last route and he wanted to figure out why. Maybe they were hiding with the rest of the monsters.
Not long after Lincoln began looking, he saw a silhouette in the distance, and he recognized it too.
"Madjick?"
Immediately he saw something flying towards him, it seemed like a lowercase t. Lincoln spawned a sword and hit it away. After that he saw him…he saw Madjick.
"What are YOU doing here?", asked Madjick.
"Madjick, before you make any assumptions… I am not here to hurt you-"
"Yeah, just like you killed all my friends!"shouted Msdjick as he shot more t things at Lincoln.
Lincoln dodged them all by hitting them away.
"I… I promise they are alive again and wont hurt them, I just came here to ask why you and Knight Knight weren't here to try and stop me", said Lincoln.
"We were scared, we knew you weren't acting normally… it didn't matter what we did we would die anyways…", explained Madjick. "I didn't want to die, and it's all your fault!"
Madjick shot these circles magic things but Lincoln used his shield to block them. Unfortunately he didn't see the last t and it passed his face, causing a small scratch on it.
"Wait, please… I'm sorry, I…"
"It doesn't matter, you killed my friends before… and now I'm here to avenge them!"
"They're alive tho- AHHHH"
Madjick shot so many t things one of them managed to stab Lincoln. Fortunately sans and Alphys heard Lincoln scream and ran to see what happened.
They saw Madjick preparing more attacks and Lincoln clutching his side.
"madjick- stop"
"Wait stop h-he's innocent!", shouted Alphys.
"I don't care! He killed everyone!!"
"stop attacking lincoln now", demanded sans.
"NO"
Sans gave Madjick a death stare that sort of scared him, all of a sudden he stopped attacking and looked at Lincoln.
"I-I'm sorry, I got carried away", apologized Madjick.
"I-it's ok…"
"Alphys, do you have any more of those healing things?", asked sans.
"Yeah, I a-actually brought one for this occasion", said Alphys as she got it out.
Alphys took the healing thing that we don't know the name of and applied it to Lincoln's side, immediately it began to heal.
"That feels a lot better", exclaimed Lincoln as ALphys put the healing thing away.
Seeing this made Madjick feel somewhat guilty.
"lincoln, why did you want to come this way?", asked sans.
"I didn't see Madjick at all last time… not even Knight Knight, and it was kind of confusing so I wanted to ask why, but this Madjick started attacking me", explained Lincoln.
"I apologize for that, I was just scared", said Madjick.
"It's ok… that wasn't the first time someone tried to attack me", said Lincoln.
Then, they all heard shouting in the distance.
"MADJICK! COME EAT DINNER BEFORE YOU MISS IT AGAIN!!"
"Uh.. I got to go, bai!"
Madjick then quickly left, leaving the three behind.
"Well that was chaotic", stated Lincoln.
"Yeah… A-anyways let's go", said Alphys.
Lincoln Alphys and sans all turned around and walk towards the elevator, Lincoln pressed the button.
"ALphys, is this elevator a normal elevator?", asked Lincoln.
"W-what do you mean?", questioned Alphys.
"Like does it go up and down instead of left and right?", asked Lincoln.
"Up and down?"
"Yeah… a normal elevator", siad Lincoln.
"what are you talking about? all the elevators go left and right here", said sans.
"Ohhh, above the underground normal elevators go up and now, I mean that's why they are called Elevators, cause they elevate you", explained Lincoln.
They got into the 'elevator' and it started to move.
"T-that actually kind of makes sense… I-I'm not sure why the ones down here just move left and right", exclaimed ALphys.
"I mean I am not judging, it's actually very useful and you don't have to walk all that way, I wish where I was from they had left and right elevators", stated Lincoln.
"that's pretty interesting", said sans.
The 'elevator' arrived at the destination and they all had gotten out, there were near the path Lincoln usually fought mettaton in.
"Ok… w-we don't have much more ground t-to cover", stated Alphys.
"Yeah… uh listen, I think I should go the rest of the way myself", said Lincoln.
"why"
"A lot of reasons, I have to get through that… hallway and sans being there isn't going to help… no offense, and I think it is better if I go to Asgore alone then have an entire crowd with me, if that makes sense", explained Lincoln.
"well we understand… goodluck kid, hopefully you'll see your family again", said sans.
"I know I will"
"Y-yeah, good luck… p-please come back soon!", shouted Alphys.
Sans and Alphys waved Lincoln goodbye, and he went into the hallway.
He was almost out of this place…
That is the end of this chapter, and I have good news. The next chapter Lincoln is going to be out of the underground! And he isn't resetting anytime soon cause that was a mistake. Well baiii.
