Chapter 28

His People

Romari Main Road

On the road where cliffs surrounded the road as three horses rode down the road. Three people were on them as they suddenly stopped to see a scarecrow in the middle of the road. The three hopped off of their horses as they then slowly approached the figure to investigate.

"Be careful, this could be a trap,"

"Right?" A man responded. He wore a blue leather jacket with a red scarf around his neck. He also wore a pair of grey jeans and blue boots.

As they approached the figure, it poofed into smoke as the figure dashed in front of the man. Startling him as the figure turned out to be Susanoo. He swung his mace as the man brought out his Teigu and blocked it but the power of the swing was too much as he was then flung towards the sky,

"Wave!" A girl wearing a black school uniform cried out. She turned to see that a couple of more figures appeared out of the smoke as the whole of Night Raid was standing before the other two.

Najenda walked forward as she took a puff of her cigarette.

"Kurome and Bols of the Jaegers, we hereby send you to the grave," Najenda pointed at them as the two pulled out their weapons.

Kurome, the girl looked at only one person in the entire group, she was gazing at Akame and so did the latter as well.

"Big Sister,"

"Kurome,"

The tension between the two was suffocating as the air felt heavy around the two.

Kurome chuckled as she looked at the rest of Night Raid.

"You may think you have us outnumbered but…"

She brought her sword up in the air, she had a crazed look as the tip of her blade formed a black orb as it particles touched the ground, making the ground shatter as figures started to rise beneath the earth.

"You are completely mistaken."

Akame and the others braced as they saw Kurome standing on a beast that was entirely a skeleton.

Kurome looked at her older sister, "Soon, I'll have you as my collection, Big Sister,"

Akame pulled out Murasame as she took a stance, ready to take her little sister's life.

Temporary Base

At the house Lubbock was trying to keep Eri occupied but he didn't know what to do as the little girl questioned where everyone went.

Lubbock told her that they went to the city to buy some supplies. The worst thing is that he didn't know how to entertain her at all.

'Please hurry back everyone…'

Western Mountain, Imperial Camp

As the grey clouds loomed over the camp, Ivan was in his tent pacing back and forth on what to do with the escapees and Helios's daughter. He looked at the table where laid a map and a few wooden pieces scattered across the map. He looked at the map, as he scanned through it, each piece was designated to a location where there was a marking of the Revolutionary Army's camps.

Ivan looked to his side as he saw a necklace. Ivan smirked as he grabbed it and stared at it. He admired it for a bit, the glistening ruby. The lights were reflecting off of it as if it was fresh out of a shop.

Ivan was soon interrupted by his soldier as the latter burst through the tent.

"Sir, we couldn't find them anywhere, what should we do?" the soldier asked.

Ivan placed the ruby necklace down as he stepped away from the table.

"Leave them be," he answered.

The soldier was confused at his answer. "But sir, we need to capture the vigila-"

"You don't need to worry, soldier, remain at your post until further notice," he interrupted.

"Sir yes sir!"

The soldier then left the tent as Ivan smiled as he then looked back at the ruby necklace.

"If he is a so-called 'hero', then there is no question that he will come back," Ivan spoke to himself.

Outside of his tent soldiers were guarding and watching over people that were chained and gathered in one area. The people were frightened as the soldiers were threatening them.

Ivan's smile turned into a maniacally grin, "As they always say, 'The hero always saves the day'

With Izuku

Izuku stood over Helios as the latter was resting on the side of the tree. Izuku tried to speak but heard snow crunching on his right as he saw two more people heading towards them.

"Chief!" One of the men shouted.

As the two rushed towards the other two. Izuku took a step back as he let them tend to their chief. The two men carried Helios off the ground as Helios looked at Izuku as the latter was walking back to his team.

Helios frowned as he then looked down in shame, a completely stranger willingly risking his life for others.

"You'll die if you go back there again," Helios warned.

Izuku stopped in his tracks as he turned towards Helios.

"If that is what it takes to save people, then gladly," Izuku responded.

Izuku then kept walking towards the three that were waiting for him. Izuku looked at the three as Mura and Kensei were smirking in approval. On the other hand, Natasha was worried for her father but she wanted to save her people and Izuku was her best shot for it.

The four grabbed whatever they had and left the area and went further away from it. Izuku's arms were stinging, jolting in pain after his fight with Helios.

Kensei looked at him as he noticed the facial expressions he was making.

"Hey, maybe we should rest and check up on your wounds," Kensei suggested.

Izuku shook his head, "No I'm fine really,"

Mura shook his head, "If we're going to storm the camp again then we need to be in top shape,"

"Just let us check your wounds Deku," Natasha jumped in.

They stopped as they checked to see if Izuku's wounds were alright but in the end he took too much damage, with escape and the fight against Helios. It was still a miracle that he was still able to move his arms.

"We have to get you patched up before we do the raid," Kensei implied.

Izuku shook his head, "We don't have a lot of time, those people need-"

"That is why we need to patch you up, you can't continue to fight like this, it'll only increase the damage and open your wounds," Natasha stated.

"But-"

"Deku, we get it, you want to save them but you can't save them if you can't move your arms anymore," Mura warned him.

Izuku held his tongue as he then looked down as he sighed.

"Alright…" he finally agreed.

Natasha stood up as she grabbed her bag, "I'll find some herbs that will help the wound heal,"

The rest sat down near a tree as they set their supplies down.

"Don't worry Deku, you'll be back in shape in no time," Kensei reassured him.

Izuku nodded as he looked up into the sky as he wondered what was Night Raid doing, what was Akame doing right now?

With Akame and Night Riad

In the valley, a clash of blades could be heard, echoing across the valley. Akame and Kurome were locked in a stalemate as they blades were up against each other.

Aakem noticed movement on left side as she ducked under a swipe from a spear as she back peddled away as she noticed Kurome's puppet.

"Natala…" she whispered in shock.

Kurome giggled, "Don't worry Big Sis, you'll end up just like him, being by my side forever,"

Akame gritted her teeth, "Let him rest Kurome!"

She dashed towards her as she was about to cut her down but she was blocked by Natalia. He then pushed her back off of the the dragon's head.

Akame widened her eyes as the skeleton dragon was about to release another breath attack. But she was saved by Tatsumi as the breath barely missed them.

"Tatsumi?"

"This isn't like you Akame, we need to work as a team," he stated.

Akame pondered as she let her emotions take over her, she nodded.

"Right, sorry, and thank you Tatsumi,"

Tatsumi smiled under Incursio, "That's what friends are for,"

He landed as he placed Akame down as they both looked up at Kurome as she stared them down.

Kurome was really psyched but there was one thing that piqued her interest, why was she wearing an encased emerald necklace around her neck?

Kurome had never seen that before but she pushed that thought back because she knew that if she killed her and made her into a puppet, then she would find out why.

Kurome raised her sword once more as a black orb appeared once more as it started to spawn more corpses from the ground.

Everyone in Night Raid got ready as they stood against Kurome and Bols. They both charged at each other, ready to take the other's life.

With Helios

As they walked back to their village, Helios was in complete thought, he failed his wife, he failed his people. He wanted nothing more than to atone for his wrongs. But he asked himself.

Was it too late to atone? Will he ever get the chance? Questions keep appearing but no answers.

"Chief, you need to see this,"

Helios looked up to see the people in his village outside of the gates as they had weapons out as there was large amounts of commotion going on.

"The chief is back!" One person in the crowd yelled.

They all looked as they say the three walking towards them.

"What is going on here," Helios asked.

One stepped forward in the crowd, "We're done sending our people to death Helios, we're done being slaves to the Empire,"

The crowd shouted in agreement.

"It is time to stand our ground Helios, join us, we've had enough of Ivan's tyranny," another spoke up.

Helios looked at all of his people, they were scared yet determined, shaking but hardened. Each and everyone of them were now standing their ground. Why? Where did they get this courage from? And why… Why were his people much stronger than he was? More willed than he could ever be.

"Chieftain Helios," a voice spoke out.

Helios turned to see the man with a bunch more men behind him.

"...! You are…"

With Izuku

"And done, that's should help relieve the pain for a while," Natasha informed

Izuku moved his arms around as he felt slight pain but not too much for him.

"Thanks Natasha," he smiled.

Kensei then sat down as he looked at Izuku, "Alright so what's the plan?"

Izuku looked at Kensei for a brief second then looked at the ground. Izuku, in all honesty, didn't know what the plan was. He didn't know the layer of the camp, he didn't see any of the slaves that were captive.

Izuku continued to think of a way to try and infiltrate the camp and rescue the people but he would need to get a closer look at the camp.

Izuku looked up at them as he took a deep breath. He focused up as he stood up, "Let's go, we need to see the layout of the camp,"

The three of them looked skeptical of him as they didn't know the plan yet.

"Are you sure? It's risky going back, what if we get caught again?" Mura asked.

Izuku shook his head, "I'll only look above, I'll try to keep out of sight while you three stay hidden until I can come up a safe way to infiltrate the camp,"

They looked at each other unsure but nodded as they looked at Izuku, ready for anything.

They got their supplies and headed straight back towards the camp.

The Imperial Camp

Ivan sat at his table, wondering where the Vigilante was coming from, the left side? The right side? Or even a frontal assault. But Ivan knew that the Vigilante was not stupid enough to do that. Ivan spread his men all around the camp, making sure every nook and cranny was covered.

Ivan smirked as if he had won already, ready for the vigilante's to strike against him. Ivan turned towards the right side of his tent to see Izuku's iron soles and his backpack that had just essentials that would survive the cold.

Ivan then looked at his table that held the ruby necklace that he had on him. Ivan picked it up and examined it, it didn't have anything inside of it or was generating anything. Ivan asked himself, why would the Vigilante have this on him if it held no powers unless it was a personal attachment. Ivan smiled as he put the necklace in his pocket as he then walked towards the exit of his tent.

Smoke was coming out of his hands as he felt excitement running through his body, he laughed as he looked up to the sky.

"Don't keep me waiting, hero."

As if God answered his call, he heard a loud explosion at one of the watchtowers. Ivan looked to see a big cloud of snow and dust near the Eastside of the camp.

"An ambush!" He heard one of the guards call out.

Ivan approached the commotion as his soldiers were lined up at the ready. The snow and dust were still covering the area so it was hard for Ivan to see who was attacking. Shouting could be heard inside the cloud of dust as weapons clashing could also be heard.

Then out of the cloud, an arrow shot out of it and hit one of Ivan's men, straight between the eyes. Ivan wasn't fazed by this however, he only continued to watch as the dust settled. He grinned as he saw a mob of people at the breach.

"Well this isn't the company I was expecting," he said.

"Sorry but this will be the only and the last time you'll be expecting anyone, Ivan," a firm voice called out.

Ivan only laughed off the warning as he then looked at him in amazement.

"Are you sure about that? Former Captain Hisake,"

The man revealed as Hisake stood before him, this time with a brown coat with red boots and a Revolutionary armband around his left arm. His hair was now longer and tied into a ponytail. On his back was a battle axe but this axe was different from the one he previously had. The axe was much larger than the previous one but the blade was dark brown with writings on the edge of the blades. The pole that held the axe together was as if the handle itself was made from a tree, the bark and roots of a tree were the only thing keeping the axe head together.

Ivan widened his eyes as he glimpsed the weapon behind his back.

"That weapon…!"

Hisake grabbed it from his back as he then slammed his axe on the ground, the engravings on the axe started to glow as tree roots started to spread out and attack the camp the soldiers panicked as they were grabbed by the roots and tossed around. It rushed towards Ivan but he just smiled as he brought up his hands as the backpack he wore behind started to glow a light orange and heated up.

Before the roots could attack, a burst of flames exploded and burned the roots. An area of fire surrounded Ivan as he smiled as he stared at Hisake.

"I see you've obtained a Teigu yourself," Ivan called out.

Hisake unfazed by the burning roots, "Found it along the way,"

Ivan's hands then lit up as flames engulfed his hands. "Indeed but such a bad match against my flames,"

Hisake then smiled as he then got into a battle stance as he gave a low stance, ready to pounce. Then people behind approached as it was revealed a Revolutionary squad arrived.

Hisake grinned, "Your right a bad match up, which is why I didn't come alone,"

Ivan laughed as he then looked down upon Hisake, "You and your Revolution will die,"

They locked eyes as they then charged at each other and so did their men as an all-out battle was engaged in the camp.

With Izuku

The four marched uphill towards the camp as Izuku was constantly trying to come up with a plan to face off Ivan, he remembered that Ivan had some sort of fire power that shot out of his finger, 'Does he have a fire Teigu? He did wear gloves, maybe that's the source,'

Izuku engraved into his thoughts as the other three were behind him as they were getting ready. Izuku then heard an explosion that was the direction of the camp.

The four widened their eyes as Izuku looked behind him and nodded as they nodded back and sprinted towards the camp.

As the four arrived, chaos was erupting everywhere, Izuku saw Imperial soldiers and Revolutionary soldiers fighting against each other.

"A Revolutionary squad?" Kensei was surprised to see them.

Izuku looked around as he saw a breach on the walls. Izuku turned towards the four behind him, "This is our chance. The three of us will slip through the chaos and free the people,"

They nodded as they brought out their weapons as Izuku activated Full Gauntlet and activated 10% Full Cowling as he charged right through the chaos. The four rushed through the battle but then stopped by four imperial soldiers.

"Stop right there! Capture the Vigilante Deku! Kill the rest,"

Izuku planted his foot down as he then disappeared from his spot as he was already in front of them.

The soldiers didn't have time to react as Izuku landed solid punches in their abdomens. The imperial soldiers were launched as Izuku and his team continued onwards towards the breach.

They battled through the onslaught of imperial soldiers as they reached the breach as they looked inside the camp, it was chaos inside as well as blood was laid on the floor and screams and war cries were heard everywhere in the camp.

But they couldn't stop now, they marched forward as they ran through everyone. Mura was behind them, in the corner of his eye he saw a man with a gun aimed at Izuku as he increased his speed.

"Deku! Watch out!"

Izuku felt the stab in his head again as he turned to his left to see the soldier aimed at him. Izuku was about to launch an air force attack but he was suddenly pushed out of the way as he then heard a gunshot.

Izuku turned his head to see Mura shot in the arm as he fell to the ground, Izuku widened his eyes as the others did as well. The soldier who fired was about to shoot again until Izuku felt the stab in his head again and swiftly turned and increased Full Cowling 20% unconsciously.

A trail of green lightning was left behind him while kicking up snow in the air as the soldier was launched across the camp as he slammed against the wall.

Izuku then looked back as Mura was clenching his arm as Kensei and Natasha were helping him.

"Kensei, go with Izuku to help my people, I'll stay here and help Mura," Natasha said to him.

Kensei looked at her as he then nodded as he looked at Izuku as the latter nodded as well as they headed forward, leaving the two behind.

"Let's get you somewhere safe, Mura," Natasha said.

"Thanks, I couldn't be here without you," Mura thanked her.

Natasha smiled as she helped him up and looked around to see if there was a safe place amidst the chaos.

"Oh? And why is Helios's daughter here?"

Natasha froze as she felt the cold crawl up her spin as she turned her head to see Ivan floating in the air as his amber hues were staring down at Natasha like a wolf that had found a rabbit.

Ivan lifted his hand as he then launched a fireball at them with increasing speed. Natasha shielded Mura as she closed her eyes but the hit never came. She looked to see a man with a brown coat and red hair with a ponytail. His right arm as bleed as his body was tattered and burnt.

"Still persistent, Hisake,"

Hisake laughed as he swung his axe, "I'm not done yet Ivan,"

Ivan grinned as he looked at them, "Then you can join them in hell!" He launched a flame attack as Hisake slammed his axe on the ground, sprouting roots that blocked the attack, an explosion was caused as dust and snow was flying everywhere.

With Izuku

Izuku and Kensei fought off a few soldiers as they then reached the tents. Izuku turned towards Kensei, "Look around the area, signal if you see anything,"

Kensei nodded as they split, looking through tents one by one as Izuku then encountered a tent as he then opened it to see a big table in the middle with a bunch of crates and barrels inside as well.

Izuku approached the table as he saw a big map to see marks on the map, Izuku widened his eyes to see that there were marks that signified where imperial bases were located around the continent. Izuku grabbed the map as he then looked around to see his backpack and his iron soles.

Izuku smiled as he then grabbed his backpack and attached his iron soles on him. Izuku stuffed the map in his backpack as he then walked out and continued to search around the tents until he heard a massive explosion.

Izuku turned to see a huge fire on the battlefield.

"I need to hurry and find the captives,"

"Deku! I found them!" He heard Kensei shout.

Izuku then ran towards where Kensei was located as he saw Kensei near a whole bunch of people from Natasha's village. Most of them were young women and men as they were changed together, some had horrible wounds on them.

"Help me get them out of here," Kensei asked.

Izuku nodded as he took a step towards them, "Please stop…"

Izuku stopped in his tracks as one of them spoke.

"Please, this is for our village, my family will be safe if we comply,"

Izuku widened his eyes as he was questioning if he was hearing this right.

"You're being tricked! He's not-"

"And what choice do we have! We'll be dead if we resist or run, Ivan will always win, no matter what…"

Izuku looked at them as they'd given up, the hopes and dreams were sapped away from them. Izuku clenched his fist.

"So you're just going to just sit there and give up?" Izuku asked.

"What choice-"

"There's always a choice!" Izuku shouted while interrupting the person that was speaking.

They all looked at them, "You hear what's going on while you all hide and sit there!" Izuku screamed.

"There are people fighting for you, trying to help you, because they know what it's like to be oppressed, to be trapped but yet they still stand,"

Izuku thought of the Revolutionary Army, Kensei and Mura and Night Raid. Izuku was done, he was tired of seeing this.

"People are giving it all to fighting against this evil, this injustice, people who are sick and tired of running and hiding," Izuku continued.

"If you scared that's alright but doing nothing and hiding isn't going to change that fear, fighting that fear will bring the light that you need,"

Izuku looked at each and everyone of them, "Hear the cries of the people trying to help you, hear the blades clashing,"

"Don't give up when there is a Path Forward!" Izuku shouted as he breathed heavily.

They all looked at him in awe as Kensei smiled as he was inspired by Izuku's words, Kensei saw nothing but the light when he looked at him, especially the time when he first met him. How he sacrificed himself for others.

Izuku smashed all the chains that were holding them as he then brought out his hand, "You all have a choice to be free! So choose!"

The people widened their eyes as a small spark of hope flashed onto their eyes. Izuku turned around as he then looked at Kensei, "Lead them outside of the chaos,"

Kensei nodded, "What are you going to do now,"

Izuku looked ahead as he saw the pillar of fire, "I'm going to end this"

Izuku dashed forwards as a trail of lightning was left behind. Kensei looked as he saw Izuku sprinting towards the battlefield.

"Win, Deku,"

With Ivan and Hisake

Fire was being launched everywhere as Hisake shield Natasha and Mura against the onslaught of flames.

Hisake then swung his axe upward as a root shot out and raced towards Ivan but the root was cut and burned to pieces as Ivan was holding a flaming sword. Hisake didn't stop as he advanced forward as he then slammed his axe on the ground and launched multiple roots towards him as Ivan then brought his sword on his right side and dashed, cutting and burning each root that was targeted towards him.

Ivan then swung his sword up as he then slammed his flame blade down on Hisake as the latter blocked it with his axe.

When the two clashed, it created a shockwave, causing snow to be clear from that area. Ivan then brought his left hand out as he created another flame blade, Hisake reacted as he then pushed Ivan away and swung his axe sideways, making a wave of tree roots rushing towards him. Ivan smiled evil as then let go of his blades and brought out his hands forward and his hands were glowing as a huge burst of flames exploded out of his hand as the tree roots were all burned.

Hisake covered his face as the explosion was burning the tree roots. Before he could react, Ivan then appeared in front of him as he then grabbed Hisake's face and slammed him on the ground.

"It's over Hisake, it's time to die now"

Hisake glared at him as then tried to swing his axe at him but Ivan grabbed his arm and but heat on his arm, causing his arm to burn.

"GRAAAAGH" Hisake screamed in pain as Ivan was laughing in thrill.

"You lead a revolution only to lose this battle Hisake, what did you hope to achieve with this petty attack of yours huh?"

Hisake didn't answer as he only glared at him.

Ivan smirked, "Your Teigu, Wrath of Nature: Níðhöggr, a weapon built from the beast itself that skin was impermeable but had a texture of a tree bark, while also summoning tree roots, great for offensive and defensive moves, an impressive weapon but it could not match against my Teigu,"

Ivan raised his left hand up as flames surrounded his hand, "For your betrayal Hisake, you die,"

Natasha widened her eyes as she rushed towards them with her sword. But she was far from them, she didn't even know she was going to make it.

"No! Stop Ivan!"

Hisake closed his eyes as he awaited the strike as Ivan struck down but then a flash of green lightning was seen from the corner of their eyes as Mura smirked. All Ivan heard was two words.

"St. Louis Smash!"

Ivan was kicked on his left side of his abdomen as he spit out blood as he was launched across the field, leaving a trail of dust behind and colliding against the floor a few times.

Ivan planted his hands down as he stopped himself from going any further. He wiped the blood off of his mouth as he looked at the one who attacked.

Hisake opened his eyes as he grinned, "I knew you were here,"

Izuku was standing before him with an angered expression and electricity dancing around him violently. Izuku right now is at 45% Full Cowling, he could feel the pain on his wounds but he ignored it, adrenaline was coursing through his body.

Ivan smiled as he covered his face as he then laughed.

"Ahahahaha, Finally! You arrived, DEKU!"

Ivan looked at him with a crazed look. Izuku looked at him as he then activated Full Gauntlet.

"Ivan…"

Izuku then brought himself into a battle stance as he looked at him, his green hues glowing as green electricity was dancing around and his Gauntlets were glowing a green hue.

"I'm ending this!"

Ivan lit his hands up as he clenched his fist, "Then come! Hero!

Izuku planted his foot down as he created a small crater beneath him as he then disappeared from his spot as a trail of lightning was left from where he stood. Ivan boosted himself with his flames as he then moved towards where Izuku was.

They were then up front with each other as they then clashed fists, leaving them at a stalemate. Flames and electricity surrounded them as a huge crater was made once they clashed. Dust and snow flew around the area as Hisake, Natasha, and Mura covered their eyes as the clash was powerful enough to send them back flying.

The two held their stance as they stared each other down as Izuku then pushed him back as he swung his right leg, "Delaware Smash Air Force!"

Ivan was pushed back by the massive amount of air that launched at him as he then propped his hands back as he spewed flames out of his hands to stop him from going any further back.

Ivan then brought his hands forward and shaped them into a gun as he shot off a barrage of flames that hurdled at Izuku.

Izuku ran to his left as he dodged the flame bullets as they flew by. Izuku brought out his right hand as he flicked his finger, sending a massive pocket of air at Ivan, sending the flame bullets away.

Ivan then created a flame barrier as the wind collided with the flame wall as a burst flames spewed up in the air, smoke and dust were created.

Hiskae looked at the battle as he looked at Ivan's Teigu.

"Hellflame: Ifrit, a weapon that was created by a Danger Beast that was capable of burning an entire country down, its flames could engulf even the strongest metal, Kid you have to end this quick," Hisake said softly as he looked at the green haired.

Izuku waited as the smoke hasn't cleared yet until he felt the jab inside his head again as he jumped in the air as he dodged a beam of flames. The smoke cleared as Ivan created flame javelins. Ivan threw one at Izuku.

Izuku brought out Blackwhip as he latched onto a watch tower, Ivan continues to launch a barrage of javelins at him as Izuku used the walls of the camp to his advantage as he used Blackwhip to swing around the camp while dodging the javelins.

Ivan then launched himself at Izuku as Izuku stopped as he then jumped over Ivan as he then collide with wall leaving a flame explosion.

Izuku landed as he then felt the jab again as he tilted his head to the right to see a flame sword close to his face as Izuku punched Ivan in the stomach as Ivan was launched back at the wall as Izuku then launched a flurry of Air Force Delaware Smashes at him.

Ivan cut each of the air pockets with his sword as he then dashed towards Izuku. Izuku didn't try to dodge, instead he rushed at him as Ivan was swinging his sword with the intent to cut Izuku in half. Izuku felt the jab again as he then lifted himself off the ground as he flipped over Ivan as the katyer completely missed.

Izuku then released Blackwhip around Ivan as Izuku then landed while pulling as hard as he could. Izuku lifted Ivan off the ground as he then swung towards the wall, Ivan smashed against the wall, he cough up blood as he then grabbed the tendril and burned it as Izuku let go of him.

Ivan looked at Izuku as he then launched himself off the wall as he emitted flames around his right hand as Izuku slide under him but during this, Izuku noticed his backpack, it was glowing orange and was fuming out smoke.

Izuku slide away as he stood up,'His backpack, that's the source of his power, if I can take that away, he won't be able to produce any flames from his hands,'

Ivan turned around as he brought his hands out, "Burn in hell!"

Izuku dodged in time as he then swiftly brought his right arm out as he shot a black tendril at him with breaking speed.

"Blackwhip: Pinpoint Focus!"

Ivan tilted his head time as the black tendril shot zoomed past him. Ivan looked as he was about to attack until Izuku was already upon him. Izuku smashed his fist against his face as he sent him flying. Making Ivan sent flying towards a tent as an explosion of snow and dust was created again.

Izuku brought back the black tendril as he looked at where Ivan was launched as he then saw an explosion of flames that erupted where Ivan was.

"Trump Card: Demon Mode!"

Ivan floated in the sky as his hands and feet were completely engulfed in flames as his hair was ablaze his eyes were now a burning fiery orange. Izuku widened his eyes as he saw Ivan in this form.

"Congratulations, Deku, you are the third person to ever see this form,"

Izuku got ready as he prepared for the worst,

"Now die" Ivan disappeared from his spot as Izuku felt the jab, he swiftly turned to his left to see Ivan on his left forming a fist as Izuku brought up his arms. Ivan struck as he sent Izuku flying towards the wall.

Izuku coughed up blood as he started to bleed from his head. Blood dripped down as he looked at Ivan. Izuku stood up right as he then got into a battle stance but Ivan appeared in front of him.

Izuku widened his eyes as he then dodged to the right as Ivan broke the wall. Leaving a trail of scorched land and burning trees where he struck.

Ivan turned towards Izuku as he continued his pursuit. Izuku kept dodging but Ivan was too fast as he then kicked Izuku in the stomach as Izuku was launched towards the watchtower. Izuku coughed blood again as Ivan hovered above him.

"You die here, Deku,"

Izuku gritted his teeth, 'Not yet, not now, there is so much I haven't done,'

He thought about All Might, his mom, his classmates, Night Raid, Eri, and Akame.

Izuku tried to get up but Ivan was already prepped.

"No one will be able to find your ashes,"

But before Ivan could attack, a barrage of ice was hurled at him. Ivan brought a flame barrier to block them as he then saw Helios above him. He slammed his battle hammer down on him as Ivan was sent to the ground.

Helios landed as he slammed his hammer down as ice started to erupt from the ground as it was rushing towards Ivan, Ivan glared at Helios as he then destroyed the ice as he was already in front of Helios.

"You die for your insolence,"

Natasha watched as she widened her eyes in horror, "Father!"

But it was too late. Ivan shot a beam of flames through Helios's stomach as the latter was shocked. Helios coughed blood as he then kneeled down as he hovered his hands over the hole in his stomach. Blood was spewing out as he looked at Ivan.

"You shouldn't have come, Helios, your life wouldn't have come to this," Ivan told him.

A few hours ago

Helios stood in front of Hisake as the Revolutionary Captain and his men were waiting for his answer.

"Will you join us, Chief Helios?"

Helios looked at the man's hand as he shook his head, "I cannot risk my people's lives again, I'm sorry but this fight is yours alone,"

Many of his people came to disagree,

"Helios, are you serious!"

"We've been a slave to them for long enough, now is the time!"

"We're done Helios, we're going with them whether you like it or not,"

"I'm getting my daughter and son back!"

Helios gritted his teeth as he turned towards them, "THAT'S ENOUGH!"

They all became silent, "I cannot, and will not risk all of your lives,"

Helios turned towards Hisake, "I'm sorry but I cannot,"

Helios looked down in regret as Hisake placed a hand on his shoulder.

Helios looked up at Hisake, "I understand, my men and I will rescue your people, whatever it takes, but please think about this. Are going to hide or are you going to take the light and fight,"

Hisake left with his men towards the direction of the Imperial Camp.

All of his people looked at him as Helios turned towards them, "Go back to your homes, this is an order from your Chief,"

They stood there as they wanted to take a stand but the two that followed Helios started to push them back.

Then a child spoke up,

"I just want my mom back…"

Helios widened his eyes as he was reminded of Natasha, his only daughter. He remembered the words that Deku told him, engraved into his head.

"I'll be a hero that people look up to! Just like 'he' did for me!"

Helios clenched his fist in frustration.

"Chief?"

Helios turned towards his two guards,

"What will you have us do?"

Helios didn't respond, but he knew the answer.

"Protect the village with your life, I need to see my daughter,"

The other guard was confused but the other one was understanding as he saluted him.

"May the gods guide your weapon to battle Chief,"

Helios nodded as he walked towards where the Revolutionary Army squad headed.

"I will free my people, I will free my daughter, and I will end their suffering, no one in my village, in my home, will suffer anymore,"

Helios sprinted, "I will see Ivan fall!"

"My people will be free,"

Present

Helios looked at Ivan and smirked, Ivan was confused as Helios opened his mouth.

"I…will see…you fall…Ivan"

"IVAN!"

An explosion was heard at the watchtower as electricity was sprouting out as Izuku stood up as the electricity was not green but a bright blue and even more brighter and violent than the last time. Izuku's hair was now standing up with a blue hue.

"100% Full Cowling!"

Izuku felt rage consuming him as he stared down Ivan as the latter grinned.

"Wonderful! Let's see who shall come-"

Before he could finish, iron soles were planted against his face as Ivan was sent flying, he couldn't even register what just happened, all he knew was that Izuku was where he stood.

Ivan stood up as he tried to launch a barrage of fire at him but Izuku appeared in front of him as he kicked him up in the air. Ivan was shocked, he didn't expect Izuku to have this boost of power. He looked to see Izuku gone but then he felt the wind rush past him as he turned his head only to see Izuku above him.

Ivan could only see Izuku's eyes glowing white as electricity danced around him. In quick succession, a barrage of fists were hurdled at him, Ivan was repeatedly hit as he felt each blow was like receiving a multitude of mountains slamming against him.

Izuku then finished him with a final blow to the stomach as he buried his leg in his abdomen. Ivan accelerated towards the ground until he hit it so hard that the ground cracked beneath him, creating a massive crater. Ivan laid there as his form disappeared, his backpack destroyed but something fell out of his pocket, the necklace that Izuku wore was completely smashed.

Izuku landed as he stared Ivan down, the latter unconscious. Izuku returned to normal as he felt his arms in pain as he looked at it, Full Gauntlet was cracked as Izuku turned them back into bracelet form. He saw his arm slightly burnt. Izuku looked at Ivan as he noticed the necklace on the ground, shattered to pieces.

Izuku picked it up as he stared at it.

"Father! Please stay with me,"

Izuku looked up to see Natasha holding her dad as he was slowly losing his life.

Izuku rushed towards them as he stopped to see Natasha crying, praying for him to stay alive. Helios looked at Izuku, he smiled, "Did…I…make it…right…?"

Izuku widened his eyes as well as Natasha did so too.

"Deku…was…I…able…to…help…"

Helios brought his hand up as if he was desperately trying to grab something. Natasha grabbed it as tears were streaming down.

"Yes! You did good, you helped everyone, so please… don't die… don't leave me alone," Natasha cried softly.

Helios smiled as tears streamed down as well, "Na…ta…sha…keep…on…liv…ing,"

Helios looked at Izuku as the latter was on the verge of tears, "Don't…cry…Deku…hold…your…head…high…save…everyone…"

Helios achieved it, what he wanted for so long,

"My…people…are…free…at…last…"

Helios eyes faded as his hand fell limp as Natasha and Izuku widened their eyes. Helios laid there smiling as if he finally was able to do the right thing, to finally free his people, finally freed his daughter. He had fallen in order for his people to live.

"FATHERRR!"

Throughout the camp, the cries of Natasha could only be heard. A Chief, sacrificing his life for his people.

After all, a Chief is his people.
