Ch.1:False names

Past:

The samurai stepped out of the forest listening to the sounds of the woods when suddenly a different sound took place….it was the scream of a man about to die.

Quickly he runs to the deathly scream only to find a lone swordsman with red hair and a bloodied sword...

"What kind of monster are you?"

The gray haired samurai says as he unsheathes his sword.

"I am the Battousai and you are in my way."

"You're not getting by me until you explain why that man had to die!"

The samurai said gesturing to the headless body behind the Battousai.

"Him? He insulted the Ishin Shishi. So I killed him."

" I was wrong your not a monster you're an animal!"

"Thank you ,but, now you must die!"

Battousai lashed out at the samurai only to have his blow parried and suffered a cut to the chest.

"Well, well the mouse has a spine after all but let's see if you can handle this!"

Battousai launched his blade straight at the samurai but before it struck he rammed his foot into his face. The samurai, however, merely shook it off and sliced the Battousai's face in an X-pattern.

"AGGGHHHH! You will pay for that with your life!"

"You would really kill a man over a scratch? I was wrong I don't hate you I pity you."

"And why is that?"

"Because for all of your big talk you are nothing more than a child who is lost at the market."

"You insolent pig!"

The Battousai rapidly quickened his pace attacking every so often until a pool of blood appeared beneath the samurai.

"You done yet?"

the samurai asked the gasping ragged man that was the Battousai. He answered by spitting at his feet.

"Good!"

and with that he smacked him with the blunt edge of his sword knocking him out. The Battousai awoke to the crackling of a campfire and was shocked to discover his wounds had been well dressed. He looked to his side to see the samurai also covered in bandages wiping off his sword.

"You ok?"

The Battousai looked to his other side to see a muscular black haired man smiling at him as he looked at his (Battousai's) sword. The Battousai merely nodded and started wondering how he had come to arrive at this place. The last thing he remembered was losing to this samurai...

"This is a fine blade." The other man remarked breaking the eerie silence

"And yet it does not look as if it were crafted by the Ishin Shishi, for one thing the point appears to be too thick. Is it a family heirloom?"

"No I got it from a friend." Battousai said leaving it at that.

"You know for someone I just defeated and yet still helped keep alive for three days he does not seem to be very grateful does he Mosuke?" the samurai said

"No he does not of course neither did that white haired dog-man but then again you did react badly to losing to him..."

"Yes but still...oh I'm sorry did you need something?"

For the Battousai had been quietly trying to escape these mad samarai and had tripped over their packs.

"I must get back to the Ishin shishi. You know protect your ungrateful necks."

"Excuse me! Ungrateful? So it's ungrateful for me to feelremorse that my mother and father bled to death just so some...unmanly rebels can have a place to crawl to hide their necks? I'm supposed to feel grateful that I almost died from an inflicted sword wound at age five and Mosuke's father was hanged just for protecting me for six years. I'm supposed to feel grateful that my two year oldsister was kidnapped and possibly raped! If this is your beloved Ishin shishi then fine go! We honest working samurai however have buisness to attend to."

"Listen you swine I don't know what dirt hole you came from but the Ishin shishi would never kill commoners unless they jeperaize the mission so take that up your "honest working"..."

At this point the samurai sucker punched the Battousai

"Follow me and I'll show you your 'beloved Ishin shishi'"
